20 Best Oud Fragrances For Him (2022 Updated)

This is one of the best in Tom Ford’s Private Collection. It’s dark, with a prominent cypress note along with tons of resins and cedar and just a hint of citrus. To me, it’s not sweet at all; it’s dry, herbal, almost acrid but in the most beautiful way.

It smells kind of formal to me. I also find it more masculine than unisex, but still, it’s not something that a confident woman cannot wear. A great scent to be worn during the Mediterranean summer, with good -though not as good as the ouds in the collection- lasting power.

Italian Cypress enters with zesty citrus and fresh green notes, soon after subtle minty/menthol notes join the fray. As the heart phase takes hold the cypress note opens out and present its Mediterranean green and warming embrace, with green resinous notes appearing that add warm and depth, this is the masterpiece stroke that sets this fragrance apart.

In my mind I am walking up a path in Tuscany with the late afternoon sun wafting beautiful green and resinous aromas from the tall cypress trees bordering the path, I feel free and confident in me and my surroundings.

Wear anytime during the year, however it really comes to life in heat, a warm breeze in a sunny climate seems to awake and lift the cypress and resinous notes, wafting in waves of gorgeous scent clouds.

Silage is moderate with a well defined scent cloud enveloping the wearer, however warm air lifts and wafts the scent further. Longevity is very good, and the skin scent persistent. The woods feel a little smoky like smouldering woods that have been in the direct sunlight for to long.

I love how this fragrance has a combination of fresh citrus with warm woods with a stunning cypress note. The clove then asserts its presence but never discriminates. It’s incredibly warming and shifts away from the Italian side of things.

The clove gives the fragrance a gourmand light cinnamon vibe, with the natural intoxicating sweetness of clove aromatically shining. It wraps itself in the heart of woods and resins around a beautiful cypress body.

A subtle, classy, high quality fragrance.

Noir Extreme by Tom Ford is an amazing fragrance, assuming you don’t mind a somewhat headier scent. The citrus and florals combine with sandalwood and amber in a surprising fashion, with all of them under-toned by a rich earthly vanilla.

To be honest, headier spicy fragrances don’t usually work well with my body chemistry, so I wasn’t sure how this would suit me. Plot twist; it actually smells kind of amazing on me! At first I tried it out at home, just to see how I would like it.

The orange blossom and jasmine smell amazing, and surprisingly the Indian kulfi worked really well on my skin too. The sandalwood and amber merge with the fresher notes without overpowering them and overall it makes a really interesting and compelling fragrance, the kind of scent that you can’t quite put your finger on the different notes because they dance around with each other and make a kind of shifting fragrance story.

One moment I pick up the orange blossom, later the vanilla, and then later again the rose absolute. I decided to wear to a friend’s wedding and I swear I had 6 separate people ask me what I was wearing because they all liked it so much, including my Ex who was really interested in what it was.

I can’t ignore that level of proof, this is definitely a amazing and surprising fragrance. I will say, going back to the beginning of this review, this is a headier fragrance, it’s not sometime would probably wear everyday.

My daily routine includes more of a light/fresh type of scent, but I will definitely wear this for dinners and go out in the evening. The packaging is pretty stunning too, the bottle is made of a very rich deep cocoa colored glass that is dense and heavy, and it’s trimmed in metallic gold.

Tom Ford is known for his undeniable level of taste and Noir Extreme is no exception. 5 out of 5, def recommend!.

This cologne is filled with rich blend of spicy and citrusy fragrance which comes out as a little less masculine at first but once the smell settles in, it gives away sandalwood and vanilla ember aroma for a creamy, woody finish.

This balances out the overall fragrance for a long lasting/not over-powering smell of spice, wood, and sweet all into one. Not my ultimate favorite collection of Tom Ford, but I think it is worth the purchase.

The pacaging is beautiful and sleek. Love the black and gold. I used this as well as my husband and grandson. When first sprayed I could smell a light powder scent as well as a spicy Woody scent. It smelled different on all three of us but the guys won! It smelled awesome on them.

Very nice long lasting, the scent is a dark incense with a touch of sweetness. I would say it is unisex but when the sweetness goes its alittle more masculine. But i also like to blend other scents with it because it works really well for that.

i could still smell it the next day on my wrists so well over 12hr. Very nice for the money.

This is a mild oud, with a sweet base. Haven’t had any reactions to it yet, but I like it. Can’t compare to the original cloned scent, but this one is a great buy for the price. Long lasting, but not overpowering.

More of an intimate scent.

Although i am new to the fragrance game and can not provide a detailed analysis of the notes i pick up from Midnight Oud, i would like to express that am very happy with the scent and longevity of this product.

Others around me have also made positive comments of the fragrance and for the price you really just cant go wrong. I am sure i will be purchasing another bottle once i am through with this one and am happy to recommend it to anyone to wear, mainly for the autumn/winter months.

This is a wonderful fragrance. The opening spray reminds me of a cantaloupe mist, mixed with other exotic fruits. Sweet, but not cloying. When it dries, it kind of reminds me of a rainbow sherbert, but not in a cheap or novelty way.

It is a creamy, smooth and balanced by the sweetness of fruits and a touch of vanilla musk. While unisex, it leans a bit more feminine, but I wear this without reserve. This fragrance has a strong projection and great performance.

No more than two sprays if going into an office environment, and 3-4 sprays for outdoor occasions and you’re all good. The quality of this product for the price is a no brainer. It’s excellently priced.

I got the tester bottle, which was presented in a beautiful pinkish gold box bottle. It goes to show that excellent perfumery need not cost and arm and a leg. This would make a wonderful gift to any woman or a man who is confident enough to wear a unisex fragrance that leans more towards the feminine.

I would definitely recommend this bottle. The price makes it so everyone should have this in their collection. I was introduced to this fragrance from YouTuber Equality Fragrances while this was not his favorite fragrance, it was the most complimented in his collection.

Amber Oud Gold Edition by alharamainperfumes is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Amber Oud Gold Edition was launched in 2018. Top notes are Bergamot and Green Notes middle notes are Melon, Sweet Notes, Pineapple and Amber base notes are Musk, Vanilla and Woody Notes,according to Fragrantica.

This is a clone of Erba Pura, but its better and longer lasting. The fruity notes are fresh and youre actually smelling freshly cut Melon and pineapple inside a garden on a beautiful summer day. All in all top notes are very very mouthwatering and tasty.

As the dry down continues, the musk becomes noticeable, offsetting the sweetness of the vanilla but never overpowering it and still maintains the tropical accord. This is very beautiful, long lasting, sweet fruity fragrance, that is surprisingly not cloying and last forever Seriously, this stuff is strong.

3 sprays will last at least 1214hrs on my skin,with strong projection and very intoxicating scent trail for at least 5 hrs and another 5 medium but the thing is that is pushing almost entirely day of wearing,its not a skin scent.

This is juicy rose that i freaking love! This one and dior oud rose wood are my favourite rose perfumes. It’s a bold fragrance that everyone is going to smell it. You’re going to fill the room with it.

For occasions like a serious night out where you’re dressed up manly with the perfect straight cut beard. The price is way more better than any other designer fragrance. I bought the full bottle for 23$! It also reminds me of Fragrance Du Bois New York 5th Avenue but without the caramel in it.

At this price it was worth a blind buy gamble. Quite a unique take on OUD compared to a range of other OUD fragrances I’ve tried. Has a sort of sweet cola vibe going on which is lovely. Could easily pass as unisex, perhaps leaning slightly on the masculine side but not by much.

Great winter night time scent, and a cool bottle to add to any collection. Average performance.

I wanted to know if all the positive reviews were true. The packaging was nice and decent. I opened it and did my first tester spray. I initially loved it!! The fragrance is what I would expect of an oud vanilla fragrance.

However, the longevity on the skin doesn’t last long ,but on the cloths it does. I was disappointed and was left wanting the longevity of the fragrance. I would not buy again because of this. I use it on my grandson when he’s getting ready for his day.

I would recommend only if your not looking for longevity of this fragrance!!.

Creed – Aventus Cologne Review Hi everyone, I managed to get my hands on the newly released Creed Aventus Cologne and would love to share my thoughts on the new release. The fragrance was released in 2019 and is considered to be an aromatic fruity fragrance.

The nose behind the fragrance is Olivier Creed. Top notes consist of green apple, mint, ginger, mandarin, orange and pink pepper; middles note are patchouli, sandalwood and vetiver; base notes are musk, styrax, birch and tonka bean.

The packaging is what you come to expect from the house of creed and consists of a ribbed cardboard box which has in fact moved away from the general white packaging Creed uses. The bottle is essentially identical to Aventus besides the colour being grey as opposed to black.

In addition to this, the horse and man is also outlined in white. The fragrance opens with a massive hit of what smells to be a lovely mix of the mandarin, mint, apple and pineapple. That being said, you definitely don’t get any of the major pineapple blast that Aventus delivered.

The top is incredibly fresh and extremely mass appealing. I believe they altered the top to be more mass appeal as a large majority of people disliked the top that Aventus delivers. The initial top fades within 20 minutes and you start getting the birch and vetiver popping their heads through.

The birch is not overly strong but it is definitely there. It would be in the order of 10-20% of the birch strength that Aventus delivers. The heart of the fragrance lasts for around 1-2 hours and slowly moves to a smooth base of non-offensive musk.

The dry down is incredibly pleasant and still from time to time get hints of fruits. Overall, I would say that I get similar longevity out of my current formulation of Aventus and it is definitely not a performance monster.

However, this has come to be known with most of the Creed fragrances. I feel you are paying for a quality fragrance that would be perfect as an all-rounder!.

Your journey starts off looking at the price and most likely turning away, but you shouldn’t look away so fast. This fragrance is captivating. I enjoy many colognes and parfums but this here is exquisite.

The top notes last longer than most, where most evaporate around 15 minutes I was still catching them almost 40 minutes in. Pineapple, bergamot, apple and blackcurrant gives off a great first impression.

It doesn’t dull off there. The mid mixes in with brilliance. Birch, pink berries, jasmine and a dash of patchouli keeps this fragrance alive and well. It paints a beautiful picture and delivers it straight to your sense of smell.

Every good painting starts with the base and this is no exception. With hints of vanilla, oakmoss, sandalwood, and ambergris lasting throughout. This is where your journey ends and you smelled fantastic the entire voyage.

Coming back to Minnesota from Texas this Thanksgiving Holiday 2021, after my dad had a very bad car accident; that ended up ending his life. Sprayed this on around 8:30 am on Black Friday. Even after sleeping in our car for a few hours, at the Texas/Oklahoma state line rest area.

And starting our journey back up at 6 am that Saturday morning. Sometime around 3pm or so. We stopped in Kansas or Missouri for some coffee at this convenience store. And the guy working the cash register asked me: Are you wearing cologne? I replied yes, and he asked what I was wearing, cause I smelled so good.

I gladly told him and showed him the bottle. Have to say. This wasn’t the first compliment on this trip. That Creed Aventus turned some heads and people had to approach and tell me how good I smelled.

But I’m surprised how good I smelled even after smoking nasty cigarettes on this trip. And people could still smell this fragrance. Even after 10 hours or more and only applied only once to my body. Just a couple of days ago at the grocery store.

Was wearing this fragrance and when I stepped up to the cashier- She said wooow, you smell good!!!! Glad I purchased Creed Aventus and the Green Irish Tweed.

Easy to use one spray on my skin can last for 10 hours. The Florentine Iris has a strong floral scent. Based on my opinion, it can be unisex fragrance as well as men and women have asked about it. Such an amazing fragrance! So clean smelling, bright and fresh.

Definitely the best Iris fragrance I have smelled. This is a clean, crisp, linear, elegant iris, giving the feeling of luxury soap and a custom-tailored white linen shirt worn on a breezy bright spring day.

The sun is out and the sky is blue and things are getting better in the world. I find the performance outstanding for a fragrance of this type.

Not really sure what to make of this. A pleasant Iris note at the start is quickly overpowered by a strong violet/lavender smell which in turn covers any other scent that is present. Once it’s been worn for a few hours it does start to settle down to the point that you can smell the subtle scent of bergamot and I think jasmine.

The final part of this is a very indistinct floral affair, a potpouri kind of smell, a mix of all sorts that doesn’t allow you to pin down individual scents. It’s not a bad product by any means but I’m not really sure who it’s aimed at.

It’s sold as a mens fragrance but for me it’s way too feminine, the floral notes are simply not masculine. Not for me sadly.

It took me a while to get used to the strong scent of this cologne. It was my first venture into luxury collection of colognes. So they do tend to have a very refined notes palette, in saying so this was the cologne that led me down the rabbit hole of luxury collection colognes that aren’t mass marketed.

So it does have a very unique scent to it and the leading note is bergamot and then it follows with Sicilian mandarin Javanese patchouli Indonesian oud and finally of course Florentine iris. Which is the most lingering scent.

So it is kind of flowery scent yet has a lot of masculinity to it. This is definitely for a special evening out. Cause it only comes in 4. 2 Oz and it costs $298 cheaper then some of the other luxury colognes out there but still steap compared to mass market scents.

Montblanc used to be known for their fancy pens. Now in the digital age, they managed to evolve into a fragrance company. That alone with their various fashion pieces, is quite impressive as is their Eau de Parfum.

This rendition of what was a EDT, and a good one, has been much improved. Rarely do I give a cologne for 25 to 40 year olds a two thumbs up of approval, but this one is a club banger. Having tested it with women 18 to 50 or so, unanimously approved as delicious and seductive.

Yes guys in their late 40’s and up can wear it too. The main market is 25 to 40 though, and this one is a definite buy. Rarely am I impressed with only several notes, but this one is an attention getter.

You’re going to get boom and beast mode with this bad boy! The orange and woodsy notes at opening are overwhelming. Yet this is only for a few minutes, and on the plus side this means an extremely strong service life.

It’s not multi tier like say a Sayvage Elixir from Dior, but it’s stronger than Paco Rabanne One Million. It’s a head turner. It’ll last on the dance floor. In addition to the mind blowing citrus and woods, detected some earthy and marine notes too.

They are enough to be recognized, along with a bit of Ozone type of scents that do flare out. Projection is two feet for hours, and your sillage trail is going to be impressive. I can’t say this is a office cologne, but for casual events among the best.

As for the bottle, it’s a boring cylinder. Yet for those more interested in the scent, you’d be hard pressed to find a better in your face delight like this one. Ladies know great fragrances, and so many compliments hours into application, that’s a indicator to purchase this one.

The atomizer is exceptionally built, and two to three sprays is good to go. I absolutely am thrilled to recommend this, as it’s among the best young mens/clubbing colognes around. It’s best seasons will be spring and summer.

Mont Blanc Explorer Ultra Blue hits a really interesting sweet spot in fragrances. The opening is youthful and energetic, but it dries down into a more adult experienced fragrance users scent. It strikes me as transitional.

The opening is a translucent sea swept lemon with a reserved splash of bergamot. It feels “on the go. ” Maybe a bit uplifting. I DO NOT recommend keeping your bottles in the car, but if you had this in the dash on a beach trip for the week it would feel appropriate.

Its got an energy to the opening that is spur of the moment. You pop into the car, spray it on everyone and drive. It’s like one guy brought a bottle of cologne along, and suddenly its the communal bottle for the trip.

Again, the fun opening of youth and energy. The middle I pick up a bit of the leather, with the bergamot clinging to its lining. If you have ever tried Armani’s Acqua di Gio Profundo, but found it too heavy, this is a good reach.

This is also where the change begins. As if something serious happened and matured one of the boys quickly into a man. He found a girl more than a fling, he got in a fight that humbled him, someone got arrested in the group.

(Maybe I’m just walking through memories of my Spring Breaks. )Regardless it grows up. The dry down in the scent is much more adult that the opening would lead you to believe. Warm, a classy bit of beach woods and warmed patchouli.

Montblanc used to be known for their pens. Now they’re in the fragrance line, and props to them for the Explorer EDP. The key is go with black, as the blue one is an absolute dumpster fire. Legend and now this have been compared a lot to much higher priced Creed Adventus.

I’m sorry but the differences far outweigh the similarities. Armaf’s CDN is more like that, so let’s take a look at this product, which has been out since 2019. This is a spring and summer cologne.

Winter it won’t have the projection to deliver. That’s my main grumble, as this scent lasts only 4 to 6 hours. Carry a decant with you, if you do love this one. It’s after a couple hours a skin scent.

I think it’s a sultry intimate date or fun session cologne. Women have complimented me with this, and I’m appreciative of this effect it’s had. My wingman to a degree. Bergamot, sage, pink pepper, patchouli, and vetiver are the primary scents.

This is a good combination, along with its citrus notes that are in the mix. It’s a fairly refined cologne, and it’s a safe pick. I happen to really like this combination, and wish it would last longer, as it is solid.

You can wear it from a casual event to a black tie affair. It’s masculine and zesty too, and I like how the notes mix over time. The bottle is simple, yet I find it good looking. The black leather band with the Montblanc symbol, is one that is quite upscale.

Also the atomizer on here is among the best. They really knock it out with this one. My hope is a future release with enhanced projection is underway. This is a solid pick for any man, and as mentioned it’s a compliment magnet.

It’s easy to mistake YSL’s Y for another entry in the “almost Aventus but not quite” category, with its bergamot and mint opening, the pineapple and violet leaves in the middle, and a creamy white musk at the base, but this is a far more technical fragrance than the endless Adventus clones.

The aldehydes in the opening give this a bright freshness, tempered with ginger, and the middle notes go green with sage and geranium, which gives it an unexpected depth. But the base is where the magic is, and that comes from a delicious, decadent combination of ambergris and incense.

It’s a morphing, complex drydown that goes from clean sunshine to the shadowy corners of a hidden temple. And they are sexy corners, indeed, rounded out with amber, balsam fir, and vetiver, keeping that clean feeling amidst the warm, sensual notes.

This isn’t a blind buy. Not everyone’s skin will play nicely with aldehydes or ambergris, which makes both ingredients bold choices for YSL. Definitely test this one repeatedly before committing. But if it works for you, it is a beast, with excellent staying power and enough throw to turn heads with the sillage.

On me, it’s sweet and the floral character of the geranium lingers until the warmth of the incense, amber, and ambergris take over, especially in warm weather. On my husband, it goes straight for ginger, incense, and vetiver, all whilst dancing with the bergamot and aldehydes.

It’s a good cologne on me. On him, it’s wickedly brilliant. That’s the beauty of Y: it’s an art of chemistry, and it becomes very much one’s own. It’s worth a try, and if it’s magic on you, worth the pricetag, too.

is a superstar that gets a lot of hype that is completely warranted. It opens with a sweet and inviting scent that comes from an almost candied apple and ginger combination. It projects very well without being too clawing or overbearing.

This pleasantly sweet opening stays throughout the life of the fragrance and comes off very clean and fresh smelling. Bergamot combined with juniper berries add another fruity layer to the fragrance giving the scent a bright and uplifting vibrance.

Towards the dry down and underneath the sweetness you get a warm tonka bean giving off a light vanilla undertone which blends well with the rest of the fragrance elements. It is an incredibly sexy scent and actually quite masculine despite it being sweet.

It smells like a clean and refined gentleman who is in touch with his playful side. My girlfriend loved the smell and could not stop complimenting me and smelling throughout the night. Definitely a great date night or evening out scent, wouldn’t recommend formally or during the day / at the office.

This is a sensual scent and it isnt afraid to make itself known. A must have for any man trying to make a good impression on the ladies, you cannot go wrong with this one, just make sure not to overspray.

This lasts long, well over 8 hours on my skin and I could still smell it on my jacket in the morning. For seasons this can work in all seasons but would probably shine the most in spring and summer because of its fruit and fresh vibrance.

This cologne has a clean scent but also has depth. The scent is very fresh when first sprayed, and dries down to be a bit spicy and warm without being overpowering. I sprayed this cologne on my boyfriend, but also decided to test it on myself.

On me the geranium notes are more noticeable when it was first sprayed, while on my boyfriend the lavender came through stronger. On both of us it dried down to a scent that was equal parts amber and spice with hints of sage and a very slight woody note.

On my boyfriend, this dry down was a little bit more fresh while on me it smelled a bit darker. It took using this cologne a few times to be able to pick out the different notes, the scent notes blend together very cohesively.

This scent is reminiscent of the smell when you walk by the cologne counter in a department store – not in a bad way, but in a way that the scent smells higher end but familiar. I think this makes this cologne a “safer” choice to blind buy or buy as a gift if that’s what you’re looking for.

(Though I do suggest testing it first if possible, since the scent developed a bit differently on different body chemistry. ) While this fragrance leans more masculine, I think it can work well as a unisex scent if it has notes you enjoy.

There is nothing like it. I have been waiting for it to hopefully return some day after it was retired. I fell in love with it many years ago walking past someone wearing it on the street in NYC and I had to stop them and ask what it was.

While it was retired and maybe never coming back, I have searched for it on the internet many times paying double for half the bottle just to have it again. I was trying to find another bottle tonight when I realized it had returned and was able to purchase new.

I am beyond thrilled. When I wore this fragrance countless strangers approached me and complimented me every single day, without fail. To me this fragrance defines the very best of Jo Malone. They should never ever take it away again, it’s cruel.

It defines the Jo Malone experience for me and is why I am an avid user and long time customer to this day. Whoever decided to bring it back is a national treasure and gift to society. Some of my most passionate and meaningful, and joyful romantic, and glamorous experiences in the last 10 years were accentuated and lifted to a better and higher frequency and intensity due to my wearing of Iris & White Musk.

but Jo Malone makes it just about impossible to find out what their fragrances smell like if you aren’t at a mall. I’ve had such pot luck with Jo Malone. It’s about 50/50 on a blind buy: either I love it, or it is so vile it reminds me of a backed up toilet.

The Rose and Oud gave no further information. I have the Red Rose scent, which is nice, and another fragrance from the line with oud, and that was good, too. I decided to take a chance, with the promise of making good use of Jo Malone’s return policy if it took bleach to get an obnoxious odor out of my sinus membranes (yes, some of her scents are THAT bad.

) This was a winner. A decent rose scent, topped and interestingly amplified by the oud. I see some complaints for longevity, but for a Jo Malone fragrance, it’s pretty long lasting. What I like best is that it doesn’t, over time, descend into the scent of something rotting (which some of her scents are prone to do.

) It’s simply lovely, complex, but not too too. Works well with other Jo scents, like Tonka, which I love and which lasts forever. If someone can ever explain to me why this company makes it so impossible to get samples of their scents, they’d end one of the those head-scratching questions that runs through the ages.

It’s just too expensive of a brand to play such games.

I love unisex warm yummy and fresh scents and this checks all the boxes for me. I am ultra ultra picky about scents I typically don’t wear scents from large companies because I feel like I don’t want to wear something everyone else has and also I think sometimes the ingredients and composition aren’t worth the money- made cheaply- but I really appreciate how jo malone makes all their scents fairly straight forward and simple and also gives you layering options.

For this the sales person said to go with my nectarine to make it fresher and peony and blush to make it warmer. This actually does smell like salt to me. It smells like if there was a man’s deodorant with the yummiest clean warm expensive fragrance to it.

I feel like it’s gonna be a great warm summer evening fragrance as it is still sexy because it’s unisex and I always feel like that is alluring on women and it’s still fresh and clean while being warm.

So you can give your evening fragrances a rest and wear this. I am glad I decided to give it a try excited to pair it with the nectarine and honey.

My husband is all about his bath scents and he recently discovered Cremo. One of his favourites is the and when he saw the price for the matching cologne ($27 for 100 ml on Amazon Canada), he thought he’d give it a go.

We both really like the scent and agree it’s unisex. It’s not a super unique scent, but I wouldn’t expect that at this price point. Longevity is an issue, it’s mostly gone in several hours although it does last longer at pulse points.

Again, I’m not really going to count this against it because price point. If this was a $120 fragrance, these would be big issues. Hubs doesn’t feel dressed without spritzing on some cologne, and I’d rather he use this for a trip to the grocery store than his fancy stuff.

What does it smell like? My guess: glistening fresh water, moss, and deciduous forest in spring. Actual notes: woody, aquatic, leather, smoky, mossy, fresh, earthy. According to label: forest moss, lavender, white birch.

I finally ended up pulling the trigger on this fragrance after seeing all the positive reviews online. My first impression was that the fragrance was far too spicy. I was thinking the overall scent would be much smoother.

The cardamom was very dry smelling and the vanilla was not prominent enough to balance the spiciness. It reminded me of Christmas potpourri and I had to return it. As I returned it, I noticed that the notes listed on that box did not match the notes mentioned in fragnatica or other videos reviewing the product.

The “Spice and Black Vanilla” box I purchased listed “Cardamom, Dark Woods, Black Vanilla” as the main notes. A couple of weeks later I saw another “Spice and Black Vanilla” box that listed “Kashmiri Cardamom, Cashmere Woods, Bourbon Vanilla” as the main notes.

I purchased this box to see if it would smell any different and to my hopeful surprise it did! This smelled much smoother and well balanced than the previous bottle. It is an excellent cold weather fragrance with excellent projection and good longevity.

The fragrance does come across as a slightly lighter and sweeter take on “SpiceBomb Extreme”. I am not sure if Cremo sells different formulations of “Spice and Black Vanilla”, but if it the box lists the notes I mentioned, I would highly recommend picking up a bottle, especially at the price point! *This is the third fragrance I have purchased from Cremo.

I also own “Iced Citron and Driftwood” and “Sandalwood and Suede”. I highly recommend them both!.

I picked up a bottle of this at Target a couple of days ago, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite fragrances in my collection. Everyone who says this is a dupe of Santal 33 is wrong – it’s much better! Palo Santo is warm, woody, and comforting, and it doesn’t have that weird pickle smell that Santal 33 has.

Plus, the longevity and sillage are amazing. Although this fragrance is marketed towards men, I think it’s very unisex. I’m a girl and it smells great on me. Overall, this is a beautiful, unisex fragrance that’s perfect for every occasion, and I’ll definitely be picking up another bottle.

For the price, this fragrance is pretty much perfect. (Bonus Tip: I recommend layering this with the Palo Santo body wash for a fuller and more long-lasting smell).

The cologne came very quickly. The fragrance is nice but not really what I was looking for. Smells like a watered down version of a cheaper Oud, not really a scent that stands out to me. This in particular seems like something an older gentleman would wear but I don’t think it’s a scent to wear on a date night with someone you are meeting for the first time.

Not a fragrance to be remembered for.

Nice smell, and it lasts a all day

This EDP is amazing – so many different Notes. The beautiful Oud coupled with the woody fragrance is beautiful. I like the slight tobacco and incense meld. There are so many lovely notes going on here.

a little rose. The leather works really well with the tobacco and I get a hit of cardamom as well. All in all very well done. 100ml at a low price for a quality EDP the value is amazing. A++++.

Awesome, awesome smelling fragrance for men. However, i’m very disappointed on the longevity and performance on this fragrance. The projection on it is not all that good; you have to be in an area where people are within arms length to get great reaction- and you will get GREAT reaction.

Solution: you have to get a decant of this fragrance because it’ll only last 4hours maximum. On a scale of 1 to 10. Smell 10/10 Performance 8/10 and longevity 6/10.

I have used many of John Varvatos’ scents, and have enjoyed the variety of unique personality that they all have. Oud is the crown jewel of his scents. This significantly elegant elixir wears with an exquisite allure that will magnetize the females priviliged to become intoxicated and enchanted by it.

It lasts well and dries down better than any I have used before it. Well Done ,Varvatos !!!!.

Versace Oud Noir by Versace is an Amber Woody fragrance for men and was launched in 2013. Top notes are Black Pepper, Bitter Orange and Neroli. Middle notes are Saffron, Cardamom and Olibanum. Base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli and Leatherwood.

In my opinion this scent is a great interpretation of a Oud Fragrance, easy to wear and not offensive at all. If I could describe this fragrance I would say; Elegant, Luxurious, manly and sexy. Performing and projection are not the best, I would say average.

Versace Oud Noir is a wonderful introduction to the world of Oud. Oud can be intimidating for those not used to it or that have never smelled it. This fragrance is perfect for a first Oud fragrance. Spicey, woody and has a very nice bitter orange in the open.

The Oud never goes funky or animalic at all in this fragrance. It provides a nice creamy wood undertone that just gets better as the fragrance sits. The longevity is a little lacking but, it’s not terrible at all.

Great winter fragrance.

For I discontinued fragrances I can still get this for under $100 when I’m writing this. I think this is a great westernized oud. The performance is very iffy and will not last that long. I absolutely love it though and would recommend anyone to pick it up because of how great it is.

I’d say that the dry down is linear and there’s no abrupt changes in the scent as it develops. i’ve heard people say that you smell like an Arabian pimp when you wear this, but I don’t believe that.

It’s extremely masculine and very enjoyable.

Reading Dossier’s business mantra is the one thing that drew me into the website. then knowing that the cost of each bottle allows me to take many adventures into trying new scents got me hooked! FLORAL PEONY was really the only scent I wanted to try initially, as the inspiration scent by Chloe is my current almost daily wear.

But with the reasonable, inexpensive cost for each bottle, I had to indulge myself with several more on my first order. This is 1 of 5 scents I ordered on my 1st purchase. Each one comes in a thick, cylindrical glass bottle with a silver colored magnetic cap (that alone is so awesome!) which holds 50mL/1.

7 Fl oz of your choice of liquid goodness. When my order arrived, I was so excited to receive the package, ran upstairs, opened this bottle first, and immediately sprayed it on the inner side of my arm, and dab-dab on both sides of my neck.

My husband, followed me upstairs soon after, curious as to what the excitement was all about. He saw 5 small boxes within the bigger box, and had that look he always makes when I buy more than what is needed, haha.

I explained, assured him that though I ordered 5, they were about the same as paying for a full bottle of any of my other perfumes. Then he quips, “Don’t you still have a bottle of that?”. that’s my confirmation that Floral Peony indeed smells the same to us as the inspiration scent.

I SO VERY MUCH ENJOY THIS ONE, and I think I will keep buying this from Dossier from here on, even just for cost reasons alone. Despite reviews of scents not lasting long, the ones I’ve gotten so far has proven different for me specifically this one.

Again, I only spray once on my left inner forearm, dab that on both sides of my neck and I’m good throughout the day. In fact, my husband thinks I smell ‘too nice’ (whatever that means, LOL) when I do another spray on my hair =:).

So one spray is enough for me. Much like the inspiration scent, the sweet floral notes smell so nice and soothing, very feminine with that simple elegance, not overwhelming to my senses (I get headaches/migraines with strong smells of florals or musk), and lingers throughout the day.

After a long day, I actually smell it on my pillow when I wake up in the morning and I like it. I already put in my 2nd order 2 weeks ago with another bottle of Floral Peony and 5 other scents to try, why not! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FLORAL PEONY, especially for those who enjoy the inspiration scent by Chloe.

First of all, I can only review this fragrance by its own, because for the life of me, I couldn’t find my original bottle of Miss Dior Cherie, and I don’t think it’s very fair to compare it based on memory from years ago.

With that being said, I think Dossier’s version of Miss Dior Cherie is very beautiful and versatile. When I say this fragrance smells feminine and sweet, I don’t mean the sweet gourmand scent like so many celebrity fragrances or from BBW (at least not at the beginning).

I don’t think there is anything wrong with loving a warm, comfortable gourmand scent (I still add BBW mist occasionally to my collection). However, if you prefer something more fruity or vanilla foody kind of smell, I would recommend Fruity Honey or fruity almond.

To me, Floral Pink Pepper opens with a very strong peppery smell. In the first few seconds, my nose is greeted with a strong spicy scent, I also smell some bergamot and maybe just a couple second of lychee.

The orange comes a bit later and actually lingers around for a while. To me, the base notes come out quite quickly, especially the patchouli. I really enjoy the pepper and patchouli scent together, I think they give such a sophisticated, mature vibe to the person.

This fragrance is not shy at all, she is bold, playful and perhaps a bit naughty, which reminds me of Gucci Guilty. Projection and longevity are both monstrous with just one tiny spray. I don’t think she is a crowd pleaser and she never intended to be.

If you don’t enjoy a wintery, spicy scent, you will not be able to appreciate this. I’m on the fence of returning/exchanging this beauty because I work in healthcare, and with its projection and sillage, I can only use it occasionally during the winter months.

Otherwise, I really think dossier did a good job creating a quite complex and beautiful fragrance.

I don’t have GA My Way but reading the reviews for it, it really sounds like fruity neroli. I absolutely love this. Almost became my favorite perfume but longevity and performance is lacking. Still, I give it 5 stars, makes me happy for the first 30 minutes.

Becomes skin scent after that. Will last a few more hours but you can only smell it if you bring your nose to it. Even if you reapply, it only slightly projects for the first 10 minutes or so. I would not recommend overspraying, it’s only good a spray at a time.

I spray one good spray on each inner part of my arm, one spray on the right side pocket of my collarbone and another spray on the left side of my collarbone. Perhaps one last spray up my neck with my hairline.

That might sound like over spraying but what I mean by over spraying is more than one spray in the same area. As long as you do one spray in a different part of your body the scent will project nicely with this but not for long.

If you do more than one spray in the same area it becomes suffocating and somewhat acrid, not nice. The floral and berry combination in this scent come off as a lovely floral grape bublicious scent to my nose in the first few minutes.

I reapplied about 4 hours later to the same area and I feel like it’s projecting better and more evolved the second time around, still getting the lovely soft floral and sweet fruit but also detect the musk a little.

I guess as you reapply throughout the day the scent will become more substantial. It’s lovely as long as you wait about 3 hours before reapplying. Reading my way reviews that one also lacks projection and longevity so why spend more money and buy that one? I’ll continue to repurchase this one.

Over the pandemic, I got obsessed with trying to find a good smelling tobacco product. Ideally, something that smelled similar to when someone smoked a pipe with a good room note, but I was also fine with something that just smelled like a good bag of pipe tobacco.

Wax melts, liquid fragrances, colognes, etc. I tried over a dozen from different company’s to small hobbyists making candles. Nothing has nailed it so far. Many have this weird baby powder smell to them.

I later found that one of the mainstream “fragrance oils” used to scent other products is what causes this. Unfortunately, this 18. 21 Sweet Tobacoo stuff smells exactly like that. It’s super sweet smelling, but has that baby powder base.

I keep it in my truck door pocket now and will spray the interior, but I’d never actually wear the stuff. And for the like a $50 – $85 price tag, that’s one expensive car air freshener.

I was hearing that this is similar to Dior Tobacolor and I can see a moment of similarity, but not more beyond that. This is much more powdery with some leather in it as well. It’s a bit more mature of a scent than I expected, but that could be my scent association.

It lasts pretty well on clothes and plays a bit of peek a boo. I like that in a fragrance. All in all, it’s alright. It’s not totally what I expected but it definitely hits the some notes I was looking for.

I’ve just purchased this an hour ago. First impressions. I like it. A lot. Probably more of a fall or winter scent , yet here I am in June and rocking it like it’s Thanksgiving weekend. Lol. It’s a scent inspired by old-fashioned jazz clubs and speakeasy lounges with notes of saffron and dried fruits that mellow to hints of tonka bean, manuka honey, and dark-toned vanilla that evoke sweetened tobacco and exotic woods.

Give it a try. Smells great and at a fair price point.

I have a bottle of Creed Aventus, but you can forget all the other clones. You can put your CDNI & Cedrat Boise in the bin. This is how Aventus SHOULD smell. This amazing package arrived on a Friday morning and I quickly tried 3 soft sprays and let it dry down before going out shopping.

5 hours later I had received 2. “What are you wearing?” and 1 “You smell amazing!!”. and even by late evening, I could still smell a beautiful aroma of juicy pineapple, lemon & bergamot. Nobody will be disappointed with this fragrance.

And for the price and if its available (come on Notino. get some stock in) you should buy 2 bottles before it suddenly becomes twice the price. This is going to be my go to spring/summer fragrance and I will be buying all the other scents in the Supremacy line to try them out.

If they have just 50% of the effect this one has. Their worth every penny. What is a bit sad is this fragrance is going to become a monster in the fragrance community. and the price is going to go up.

Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense is a great fragrance. Its virtually a 1:1 clone of a smoky/fruity batch of classic Aventus (Aventus before the IFRA mandated reformulation). Great projection, great sillage and very long lasting (8 to 10 hrs).

For me, its the holy grail of Aventus clones. If you love Aventus, youll also love this fragrance. A+ seller. Highly recommend.

After listening to some rave reviews about how strong, long lasting and the WOW factor of a scent I was rather disappointed that no one, and I mean no one noticed or said anything to me about. But some people did notice my watch (rolex submariner) and my Club Master Ray-Ban sunglasses, but not the AFNAN SUPREMACY NOT ONLY INTENSE EXTRAIT DE PARFUM SPRAY FOR MEN.

So win a few and lose a few that is life !.
