20 Best Oud Perfume For Women (2022 Updated)

The title says it all! This scent is so different, I can barely believe it is now available as part of the signature line as opposed to the more pricey private blend collection. If I had to put imagery to it, it makes me feel like I’m tanning while sitting on a tiny little desert-like moon in outer space with my feet dangling into infinity with a spicy, fruity, tart, at the same time sweet cocktail in hand; bright green shooting stars wizzing past me.

🌘 It has an abundance of notes, with the top notes including: Truffle, Gardenia, Black Currant, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Amalfi Lemon The middle notes including: Orchid, Spices, Gardenia, Fruity Notes, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Lotus And the base notes including: Mexican Chocolate, Patchouli, Vanille, Incense, Amber, Sandalwood, Vetiver, White Musk It is expertly blended and incredible to me, that the abundance of different notes does not make it “too busy” at all! It makes the scent interesting, intriguing, multifaceted and incomparable to my nose.

It opens up quite spicy, incensy, a bit peppery with the black currant, spices and truffle apparent. Once it settles, the floral notes start dancing, such as the Orchid, Gardenia and Ylang Ylang. After a few hours, I find it becomes a bit warmer and softer, maybe rounder.

The spiciness dissipates and the Chocolate, Vanilla and Amber linger. I detect a very soft, barely there musk; not your regular “stinging” musk. I find projection/sillage and longevity to be outstanding! It lasts easily 8 to 9 hours on me and even then, I can still detect it as a skin scent.

I’d say due to its polarizing effect and uniqueness, this is rather an evening and fall scent, but… I enjoy the opening, the midway through and how it settles so much that I wear it all year around. I simply use it more sparingly during the daytime and in summer.

The Good: I received this as a gift, so I didn’t spend any money on it, although I never return gifts (the guilt is real) so it just sits there staring at me. The packaging looks luxurious so I couldn’t complain too much and when sniffing it from the bottle it doesn’t smell that bad even a bit intriguing.

(but then you spray it and that quickly changes). It’s EXTREMELY long lasting and powerful, which is great if you actually enjoy this scent. The Bad: If this is your favorite perfume, I am so sorry for the words I am about to speak.

When I sprayed this perfume I instantly smelled an offensive, overwhelming and headache inducing scent. This perfume is STRONG (which I usually do not mind) but after only 2-3 sprays this offensive scent was on me for an entire day and then lingered in the air of my laundry room for several days emulating off the clothing I sprayed it on before laundry day rolled around.

It smells extremely mature and for me personally, is almost nausea-inducing. Whatever it did with my skin chemistry only made it worse, I never wore or attempted to wear it again. When I tried to pass it on to my mom who is in her 50s and loves Tom Ford perfumes I was shocked that she told me she didn’t like it either and also commented how it smells like an “extremely old woman” to her as well.

Oy. The Bad/Honest: Scent is very subjective and opinionated, to me personally, this is one of the worst perfumes I have ever tried. Do NOT blindly purchase this because of looking at the keynotes description, it’s not accurate in my opinion.

Try this in a store, spray it directly onto your skin and see if it mixes well with your body chemistry throughout the entirety of the day. If you still like it by hour 24, by all means make the purchase and enjoy the lasting power because you get your bang for your buck with this one.

First off, this is not a conventional, your usually floral female scent, it is complex, mature, and I would not recommend anyone under 25 to try pull this off, and I say this with experience, because when I was 22, i smelled all the TF perfumes and I HATED those smells, I gagged at the smells and didn’t understand why ppl would want to smell like that; but now I’m 29, and I revisited TF and found myself love almost every scent from TF; So with that in mind, if u r used to the classic floral, and you are young, u will probably find this offensive.

But if you have aged into a mature stage of your life, and want to find a strong, impressive, unique signature, then this is for you. I would say almost all of TF parfum products are heavy and bold, meant for uniqueness and when you want to standout and smell different from the usual feminine floral scent.

I smelled all the popular perfumes out there, and I find myself not satisfied with anything the current female parfum market has to offer, literally every female perfume smells the same to me, until I stumbled upon TF farfum.

The dry down reminds me of my childhood Chinese snack, a type of dried sweet salty plum (话梅), and also has a layer of fruity almost citrus scent as well, and still has the feminine floral scent but not boring, they mingle so well that I kept on smelling it throughout the day it’s almost addictive.

Overall, if you are into traditional feminine scents then TF is not for you; if you are trying out new things and on the hunt for uniqueness, explore new scents, then TF is for you.

Before my purchase, I read what flowers were used to create this fragrance. The combination of violet and rose suddenly filled my senses with such a pleasing imagination of WOW. Upon reading this I decided to give it a try because my intuition was telling me that this combination would be good together.

I’m glad that I followed my intuition because this fragrance is incredible. This perfume was worth every penny. I work as a licensed embalmer and sometimes we use a fragrance when we casket people. I was going to use the miniature free gift you sent of the oud on my case I casketed and decided not to because I wanted every drop of the perfume for myself.

This fragrance is a must!!! I recently purchased baccarat extrait as a blind buy and was in love. So I wanted to own a second fragrance from this house. But was scared to blind buy again. But based off reviews every said the gently fluidity was the next best to purchase.

But I was confused of the gold VS silver so I got samples. I’m a girl who likes to be noticed and the Gold was too soft that almost couldn’t smell it! But This silver is giving baccarat a run for its money!!! It smells so amazing! Very clean and crisp! And dries down to this sweet elegance.

This fragrance is strong enough to get notice without being overpowering. If you want boss girl vibes, you have to have this in your collection!.

I have adored this perfume for probably over a year now, constantly going into mecca, and my favourite part was always the insane wear time. After a year of saving i finally got it for myself and while i do still love the smell, i think i must have gotten a dud.

When i’ve gone in store to test it out it would easily last 24 hours, but the bottle i have at home barely last 6. Even when i first spray it, it doesn’t smell as strong as the sample in store. Maybe it just develops as it ages and the sample in mecca has been on the shelf for a while.

Pretty disappointed it’s not what i expected, since it’s $350. I’m not even sure if it’s possible to go in store and try to exchange it for a different bottle. i feel like i’d be better off if i switch my bottle for the half used tester.

i’m certain the one i got must have been a one off.

I bought this from the Swiss Arabian website along with the Inara Oud in a very, affordable bundle, hoping for Spring fragrances that I am as much a fan of as SA Florence and Casablanca. This is a beautiful scent! Light, but still leaves a trail and a heavenly scent bubble.

Will be wearing both of these a lot this spring and summer!.

This smells amazing! Definitely exceeded my expectations! I have worn it twice and I get a lot of compliments when I have worn it. It’s not too sweet which was something that I was a little concerned about because I don’t like really sweet smelling perfumes.

Juicy floral peach it’s soooo good and it’s my favorite from my collection.

A beautiful fragrance. Floral, spicy, woody. Well balanced and luxurious. Smells like a fancy department store. Not sure it’s the scent I’m looking for, but it is quite lovely nonetheless. According to Fragrantica, top notes are rose, saffron and freesia, middle notes are patchouli, heliotrope and violet, base is oud, leather, sandalwood and vanilla.

I’m not picking up all those notes, but I did find rose and freesia, violet, leather, sandalwood, and maybe a hint of patchouli.

I’m definitely a fan of Versace my favorites are bright crystal and crystal noir, but THIS ONE!!!! Ahhh!!! At first smell I was like meh and then I let my husband smell it and he liked it. It is very different from the other scents.

Kinda mellow to me like vanilla-ish with a little spice, but I decided I’ll give it another chance. I’m glad I did the scent lasts for a long time I put some on 2am and I’m still smelling myself at 7pm.

( I drive truck) I did put more on than my usual spritz, behind the ears and on my wrist. Have been wearing this scent for the last 5 days. The bottle is gorgeous!!! Yes I like a nice perfume bottle.

I decided to splurge and buy this fragrance for me. Unfortunately a higher price doesn’t ensure quality. All the scent that comes from the bottle is vanilla whether first, second or third tones. As far as I am concerned vanilla should only be used for baking.

I wanted to love or at like the smell. Unfortunately I can’t. Since when is vanilla oriental as the name implies. I knew there would be some vanilla but there is too much for me.

Pundits far and wide tout this frag as a clone of By The Fireplace. BTF is a sweet, woody/nutty blend, where as Ameer Al Oudh Intense seems to do its own thing with sweet, slightly medicinal oud notes.

Both are amazing in their own right, and owning both is not redundant as some might have you believe. I own both. Very happy. Blind buy? If you like sweet oud, then yes.

Great fragrance brand and a lovely smelling fragrance. The quality is that of a much more expensive fragrance and is worth every penny plus more. Highly recommend to people who like something smoky and sweet, also smells unique and will get you many compliments.

If you like Arab style fragrances but without being overwhelming this is a good buy from a House which has more hits than misses Excellent value as the bottle and sprayer quality is very good despite the price and looks nice enough to give as an expensive present.

I bought this one in a set with Gypsy Water and Blanche (La Collection Nomade, I think?) and Gypsy Water was my favourite. But as my perfume collection is rather large, I didn’t revisit any of these scents until recently.

I went for Bal d’Afrique first and initially it was sweet and lemony and not especially impressive. I asked my husband his thoughts and it was a flat out dislike for him. But as the day went on, the scent developed into something really special.

Rather than “fruity”, “floral” or “musky”, Bal d’Afrique is a vibe. It’s optimistic, adventurous and bohemian. In my collection of 200+ perfumes, I have nothing like Bal d’Afrique. The day after my husband said he flat out disliked Bal d’Afrique, I sprayed it on one wrist and Gypsy Water on the other knowing I was going to buy a full size of one or the other.

Funny enough, the one he preferred was Bal d’Afrique – the same one he hated the day before. When I told him what it was, he was really surprised, but that’s the magic of Bal d’Afrique. I’ve seen some people say it has a BO or urine smell.

It’s the marigold (targetes). Marigolds are commonly used in gardening to repel rabbits. It’s an ingredient not commonly used in perfumery so it takes a few wears to appreciate this unique perfume. But if you give it few tries, it will probably grow on you and I think it’s worth the effort because it is a very special, unique fragrance.

I chose Bal d’Afrique over Gypsy Water to order a full size of and I have no regrets! Gypsy Water is lovely and I know I’ll buy that at some stage too, but Bal d’Afrique is a rare beauty.

I really do like this scent! a lot more than I initially thought I would. And by each passing day I use this ; I fall in love a little more. I love this particular scent for almost any time of the year except maybe very hot summer days.

The scent is intoxicating and very well blended. A sweet fruity/floral scent livened up with the woodsy notes in the background; a very round scent without any sharpness. Incredibly versatile. My boyfriend goes crazy for it after he gets home, and I have had it on for over 5 hours at that point.

He grabs the nape of my neck and just delves in face first with a big wiff. In such a sexy anamlistic way. I want to see if he would try putting it on in the morning before work, and when he comes home I want to see what I smell- and If his different DNA turns this fragrance in a different direction.

It is feminine enough to stand alone thanks to the angelic softer notes, but would make a great unisex fragrance, also!.

Despite not being particularly fond of any notes in Bal d’Afrique aside from cedar, I recently became fixated on this fragrance and blind bought a full bottle after many internal battles with myself (A Sméagol/Gollum situation, where Bal d’Afrique was my precious).

The reviews that I stalked had me expecting something of a pineapple mango creamsicle scented bar of soap. Incidentally, I don’t experience anything close to that. It begins as a nearly underripe lemon, but calms down to a scent strikingly resemblant of August, a discontinued Hollister fragrance marketed for women in the 2000’s.

It was, in reality, completely gender neutral, but much too original and apparently ahead of its time; it was discontinued after a what I imagine must have been a successful but short period of availability.

Heavy citrus opening that mellows into a cedar/vetiver dominant woodsy heart with smokey ambered facets. 100% unisex. I don’t experience any black currant, tropical, or floral qualities. No creamy feels.

I can smell the “ivory soap” in the drydown, but only with discernment, probably wouldn’t have associated it with soap had I not read that others made that interpretation. As far as vetiver goes, I wouldn’t think this contained any, had I not read the notes listed.

I haven’t yet learned to appreciate or even tolerate vetiver as a focus note, aside from its use in Angel Muse, so I tend to. hate it deeply. Like I said though, there’s no typical assault by vetiver here, I think it pairs exceptionally well with cedar and amber to contribute to the dry woodsy effect.

In my unrefined but honest opinion, this is simplicity at its finest. The longevity is much better than anticipated on me. In the equitorial heat/humidity, I get 5 hours before I need to compulsively reapply, and I’m more than happy to bring the big awkward bottle with me to reapply prn.

Regrettably, the sillage is as tragic as they say. Still absolutely worth a try, and in my opinion it’s worth a blind buy, for anyone. It really is a scent both intriguing and unique; fit for any season, day or night.

Easily signature material.

SOTD is Full Incense by Montale is a Amber Woody fragrance for women and men. Full Incense was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Pierre Montale. Full incense is a fragrance dominated by the Somalia incense note,rounded by elemi and labdanum resins,cedar and patchouli, according to Fragrantica.

Also, it performs significantly better. Sometimes Avignon comes across as soapy. there is nothing soapy about Full Incense by Montale. Out of all four forementioned, I think Full Incense is the best, with Avignon being a close second.

They are quite similar in smell, but FI is a bit more resinous, with a super slight peppery note that accents the incense beautifully. Churchy-like incense, with some smoky sweetness. The incense note is rounded by elemi, labdanum resins and cedar.

Smoky, warm and meditative. This is a glorious scent that differs just a bit from Avignon’s subtle “cranberry” note. For me FI it might just be too linear and simple, lacking complexity. You cannot go wrong with either one, but I do think that FI is overall a better product, with a longer, more complex development.

Avignon is much softer IMO which I also like but prefer the Montale. I believe it’s redundant to own both, but some rumours says that FI was reformulated and it’s not anymore the fragrance that used to be, so for that reason imo it’s much better to sampling both and see which one you’ll like.

The original formulation was ground breaking absolutely and the scent is very likable considering how copied fragrance is. The magic is the birch, the darker and the darker smokier notes to this and of course the sweetness comes from pineapple, there is this fullness to it as well where it’s just perfectly blended.

If you’re into fragrances like Drakkar Noir, Black XS and Armani Code this will most likely be your next favorite fragrance as they are all a similar style. However none smell exactly the same. My issues are two from giving this a perfect rating.

Firstly it’s inconsistent. This perfumer on youtube Aaron Terrence Hughes who his full time job is being a perfumer and not a shill trying to sell us watered down EDT. He did a great review of 3 different batches this was made and was surprised with how different each bottle smelled.

Sure Polo Green (Ralph Lauren) among others have been reformulated significantly but for the price Creed goes for you’d think that they would be the source for the pineapples, the birch trees and all but no! Really what are we paying for if they can’t produce a consistent product the history, the hype? I’d say go with one of the many, many copies instead because this isn’t the longest lasting fragrance.

Al Haramain L’Adventure, Club De Nuit Intense by Armaf and all the others are my pick. If you’ve got the money though go with Creed, it’s a great fragrance so I’m not talking bad about it but I can’t stomach 400$ for something that doesn’t last 12+ hours and project like a beast.

Oudmazing is a very vintage smelling scent to me. I think it smells like something someone in my childhood wore, though I couldn’t say what! Officially, this one has a huge list of notes that make up the blend: orange, bergamot, pear, fig, iris, jasmine, patchouli, leather, vanilla, pink grape and white musk! Right off the top I do get something sweet, along with that iris note standing out strong.

As the scent develops on the skin, it warms up to allow the patchouli, leather, and musk notes to come through. I really don’t get much of a fruity vibe from this, other than the sweetness right off the bat.

While I do think there’s something vintage and mature about this scent, it’s still very wearable to me. I think it does make a statement, so it’s not going to be right for every person every day, but certainly great for a night out, or maybe a “smell like a boss” vibe.

It seems to give me a self esteem and a confidence boost, because I like the way I feel wearing it!.

She’s a complex one this Intense Cafe! Buckle up and read on sweet reader she wants your attention. To start with this is one of my most complimented on fragrances. It’s starts out STRONG with a jammy like rose mixed with a sweet latte.

She is sweet she is loud, she is a brat, but a loveable one. The closest mainstream comparison in my eyes would be Black Opium by YSL. If you know that fragrance start there then turn the dial up to a 10 on the floral notes keep the coffee note dialed down by 2 or so and let the base line of vanilla ride.

Intense cafe belts out like an 80s video. Flashing herself in neon colors probally wearing frosted lipstick and everyone is watching her. She leans synthetic but she knows it and owns it. Longevity is thru the rough lasts for hooouuuuurs.

When she gets tired 8-9 hours or more she is a whisper of over endulgance and still puurrrs with vanilla and a slight coffee vibe. She does last that long if not longer…. I love her but I use her sparingly.

She’s an attention I’m there for that vibe now and then. She is vampy she’s a bit trampy but she is who she is…. I’d imagine Elvira rocking this. Sweet yet a bit twisted.

I finally gave in and had to see what all the fuss was about with this fragrance. I tend to be drawn towards gourmands and florals, but I wanted to branch out a bit, and i cant stand to be left out of anything, even if I am a bit late to the party.

This fragrance is a little pricey, but the quality is undeniable. The first time I sprayed this, it was kind of shocking because it was unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. The first hour it smells green, minerally, and leathery at the same time.

I assume this is the phase where people compare it to pickles, but that doesn’t do the fragrance any justice. I noticed that those top notes rounded out quite a bit when I applied it to freshly moisturized skin rather than dry skin.

The dry down is incredible. Musky, woody, a tiny bit floral, rounded out with leather. It’s gorgeous. I think it’s a true unisex (if you can even gender a smell) the opening feels more masculine and the dry down more feminine, but never strongly either way.

If you buy this, give it a few chances to win you over. First two days i wasn’t sure. Third day I applied it post-shower and fell head over heels.

Le Labo is always on the top of my list when it comes to fragrance. I absolutely love this scent. The depth of ingredients really takes you on a journey. There is a fresh, clean aspect with fig and bergamot on the nose and then a deeper sense of musk, vetiver and cedar wood.

I believe there is also a black tea leaf note and possibly tobacco and hay. It’s truly unbelievable on men and women. I’ve never offended someone in the office or around me by wearing it, (that I know of) and it’s tough to put into words the sensational journey this takes you on.

The scent lasts for days on my skin and on clothes. Sometimes I’ll even spritz a bit in my room before bedtime and it just smells like a dream. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves musky fragrances.

The price point is high, but worth every scent for how long it lasts.

If you like ambergris this fragrance is for you. It’s done so beautifully and blended so well! This is a clean skin scent slightly musky a little powdery it’s just beautiful. It’s inoffensive but definitely has staying power.

It doesn’t come off until you wash it off and I get so many compliments. This is definitely unisex it doesn’t lean either way it just smells GOOD! Le Labo is pricey but it’s so worth it because a little goes a long way and the quality is out of this world good.

Quick tip if you want your fragrances to last a really long time and not turn sour store them in your fridge or at least put them in a cool dark place away from sunlight! Also Le Labo creates your bottle of fragrance when you order it so you know you are getting a fresh bottle of juice which is amazing.

This is one of my worst purchase ever. It has a funny smell/note that I can’t stand and candidly I really don’t understand why all the hype. Well, fragrances smell differently on people. So others might like it.

I thought I would love it for the price so, I can save my expensive perfumes but, I don’t.

Love this perfume. I kinda found it by accident, but it’s now one of my favourites. This is for my daughter for her birthday. Fingers crossed she loves it too. It was also amazing value for money because of the offer price.

I usually don’t go for sickeningly sweet perfumes, but this one is not sweet or musky, its a beautiful blend of both. I think every time I spray this perfume it has managed to last all day and also always without fail get me compliments from ladies and men.

It’s a complex scent, definitely not for everyone. The first spray it smells more like a unisex perfume. But, it gets more and more flowers, patchouli, woody and powdery. On my skin, smells so much of violets, patchouli and a hint of vanilla… sweet.

I would not blind buy this scent because it is a very complex scent and everyone ‘s chemistry is different. Personally, I totally love it!!.

I’m no fan of Aventus for her because it’s way too pungent and irritating to my nose. So I decided to give this one a go and I blind purchased it based on YouTubers reviews. Upon first sniff, I was feeling it compared to my thoughts on Aventus.

So I decided to spray some on my clothes. That’s when I noticed how soapy it smells. It’s giving me detergent vibes. Also the lasting power and sillage is horrible. No one will smell you besides your spouse since they are about the only ones that will be able to get extremely close up on you.

Again. it’s a no for me.

I fell in love with this fragrance. It’s a strong but soft smell that isn’t super sharp and extremely fruity like most women fragrances. I’ve always preferred men’s fragrances because they last much longer but this is an all day active wear.

I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on how good I smell even at the end of the day. This is perfect if you tend to get a headache from more overbearing flower smells as it’s simple warm and natural. Feel like a princess when I wear it.

It’s packaged in a big chunky glass bottle, which is really heavy, and comes in a pretty pink box. Sadly it’s now been discontinued and is hard to find, but there are still some companies who sell the last of this stunning perfume.

💙 The top notes are made up of fruity scents, which is not something I usually gravitate towards, so it must be the floral middle notes and the cedar and musk in the perfume that make me love this so much.

💙 The fragrance isn’t strong, it’s a soft, subtle, yet joyful scent, which really invigorates the senses. It has a spring time feel to it, but is versatile enough to wear year round. 💙 Its more of a day time fragrance as it does ooze the outdoors.

It’s not the most practical bottle to carry around, so I have to transfer some in to my portable perfume dispenser to keep it with me in my handbag. 💙 I need to find a similar scent to this, now it’s been discontinued, would love to hear any recommendations.

I lovvvvve this perfume. It’s quite strong, but I love powerful perfumes. It’s described as a “floral chypre” but to me it’s not particularly floral – much more patchouli, honey, musk, woody, warm spicy, and earthy.

It lasts for hours and hours. I’d say it’s much more of an evening perfume than a daytime perfume; it’s very sexy. I also think the bottle is very beautiful, and I love the stirrup charm. Full disclosure, I’m an ex equestrian so it appealed to me in a really specific way, but when I first discovered this perfume I loved it and the little charm so much that I actually searched for, found, and purchased a pair of gold stirrup earrings.

I know, right? What a horse nerd.

I started with a sample, and I liked it enough that when I ran out I bought a 1. 7oz bottle. I’m not sure if I will buy another when I run out though. This fragrance comes across very leathery to me.

The cedar is strong, the patchouli is there but blends well. The orange blossom and lavender work well together to add a nice touch, but the base notes are almost a bit too loud to let these notes shine as much as I would like.

The bottle is gorgeous, all glass (if yours has a plastic top, it’s probably counterfeit), and like on other Gucci perfumes, the atomizer works well providing a nice, even spray.

I love all things Kilian. The scented lipsticks. The fragrances. I have yet to smell a fragrance from byKilian that I don’t like. The presentation is always so luxe and classy. I purchased this scent on impulse after receiving Apple Brandy and I just needed another one of his fragrances in my collection.

The reviews about it smelling heavily of chocolate, rum, and coffee really drew me in because I love all things coffee. I thought this was going to be an overly gourmand sweet treat and it is gourmand but not as sweet as I thought.

It’s a little deeper and slightly masculine but it works. I wouldn’t say this is unisex because it doesn’t exactly walk that line for me but I don’t even care I love smelling this and I love how incredibly long this lingers on my clothing.

It’s one that once it touches fabric it’s there for good until you wash it and I adore that. I love waking up and still smelling this scent surrounding me. I don’t even care that it leans masculine but if you are the type to want something that clearly pulls feminine then this isn’t for you.

It’s a deep rich coffee rum scent that smells kinda like a fancy gentleman’s club for the elites. Kilian is a master at boozy fragrances that ooze luxury and elegance. The quality in his fragrances is unmatched.

I had a sample of Black Phantom made for me upon my visit at Saks 5th Ave approximately 2 months ago. I decided I truly loved black phantom and wanted to purchase the full bottle. Upon receiving the full bottle I noticed the smell wasn’t as strong as the sample I received.

It is lacking the chocolate note and the stronger sweetness that my sample has. After reading other reviews about the possible reformulation, I think my full bottle is lacking what I truly loved about black phantom.

How disappointing. I know this could possibly be just a batch issue, so I am returning this bottle and waiting longer until newer batches are released before purchasing a full bottle. Hopefully Kilian will see these reviews and understand the message coming across.

If something isn’t broken, do not fix it. Summary: The original formulation was perfect, not so strong that I couldn’t wear it but strong enough that it was different than everything else. Now the sweetness has been dialed down and the chocolate/almond note is gone.

I wish I could’ve found an older bottle of Black Phantom as I would LOVE to have it.

Who knew wearing spiced coffee could be so sexy? “Intoxicated” is the right adjective to describe this fragrance, especially if you love gourmands as much as I do. Addict would have been a great title, but Dior got the jump on that one.

Kilian executes yet another perfect gourmand without being dependent on vanilla. Turkish coffee is the note present throughout the lifespan of this fragrance, but nutmeg isn’t shy here either. Green cardamom makes it interesting and keeps the fragrance from smelling too much like you spilled Starbucks in your lap.

There is a subtle powdered cinnamon note that lingers ever so faintly in the background, allowing a beautiful finish. While this is notably more masculine than Black Phantom, it is still very much gender neutral.

Comparisons? For those of you familiar with Thierry Mugler (R. I. P. ), Intoxicated is strikingly similar to Angel A*Men Pure Coffee with a touch of Angel A*Men Pure Malt. Addictively intoxicating and by far my favorite coffee fragrance… for now.

Today I tried a sample of Floris London A Rose For Eau de Parfum. I so wanted to hate this fragrance as it’s so expensive, but l really like it. I truly believe anyone would love wearing this fragrance regardless of your gender.

I would of hope it lasted better, I felt the need to reapply halfway through the day. It is a light fragrance to its kinda expected to need to reapply. I feel it’s so unique I’m struggling to find the words to describe it, so please try it out yourself if you can.

It has the warmth from the Vanilla and slight musky but also very light. As l mentioned it is pricey costing $235 a bottle, which pushes it out of my price range. It’s described as having: *Top notes of Darjeeling Tea, Incence and Cassis *Heart notes of Red Rose, Orris and Oud *Based notes of Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vanilla.

Such an exquisite example of chypre done well. Quite a complex scent to describe; all 12 of the pyramid notes are noticeable but they’re blended together with such craftsmanship from the reliable British house of Floris to create a stunning, signature worthy fragrance.

Sunny citrus and bergamot opens the scent. Osmanthus and ylang ylang appear to be the stars, creating warm and woody, yellow floral mid notes with the citrus and a white jasmine note dancing atop. The lightest touch of musk, patchouli and amber add some stability to the base, allowing the osmanthus to shine brightly.

There is a wanting for more of a mossy or earthy note here, perhaps I will try layering with Pacific Rock Moss to create something even more magical.

I find myself reaching for this fragrance more often than not. It’s just so feminine and pretty! Smells like a big old bunch of freshly cut, beautiful smelling flowers. The silage and longevity constantly impress me; it certainly packs a punch for an EDT.

I absolutely adore this fragrance, and by the compliments I get when wearing it, so do a lot of other people. Definitely recommend if you’re into feminine floral scents. Thank you Libertine for your wonderful selection of gorgeous products and outstanding customer service ❤️.

I would give this a solid 3. 5 stars, if that was an option. It’s a very niche fragrance that can work well under the most specific of circumstances, but will easily be out of place in the wrong season/environment.

Quite frankly, this smells like a pina colada. There’s vanilla, to be sure, but it’s overwhelmed by the coconut and banana tones. This could be okay on a hot summer day if you’re going for a very youthful vibe, but it’s also surprisingly strong and has incredible sillage, so it’s very important to go easy on wearing it.

It does have kind of a cheapness to it that seems to fit in better amongst Bath Body Works sprays instead of higher-end products. I’ve tried a few JHAG fragrances and they all seem to be really excessive and loud.

You aren’t going to find any sophistication, subtlety or nuance here. Just in your face, overwhelming scents. Honestly, they aren’t my favourite and I haven’t found a single one worth purchasing a full bottle of.

But they might work well for the younger crowd.

I got 2 samples of this perfume in a gift bag and I’m in love. Winter may or may not be the best time of year for wearing this scent, but I’m loving trying to figure it out. I absolutely love the vanilla in this.

It’s the first thing I smell after spraying. It is not super sweet, nor is it subtle, you can’t miss it. It’s a more mature vanilla… so if you like the vanilla scents from bath and body works etc, this is not as sugary sweet and overtly strong.

As it dries down, the sea salt jumps out on me then the subtle sandalwood. But even with the sweet sea salt notes, this doesn’t strike me as a particularly “beach” like scent. And that’s a good thing! I find this to be feminine, but that’s obviously up to the individual.

I’ve only tried a couple of Juliette… fragrances before and this has quickly become my favorite. I wore it out tonight and had a few people compliment it. I don’t think it’s the longest lasting on the skin (3-4hrs) but definitely lingers on clothing.

I will be buying a full size of this, and be trying other scents from the brand.

Sadly as it seems to be a thing with all Juliette Has A Gun perfumes is the trial sizes are much more potent than the full sized bottles. I really don’t understand why they do this bc I won’t buy another knowing it doesn’t smell as good as the sample I tried.

I had been given a bottle of Vanilla Vibes and it’s fine, nothing special but liked it enough to buy the sample pack which is where I fell in love with Lipstick Fever. The sillage and longevity were amazing and I thought it would be totally worth the money to buy the full size bottle.

No, not so. I have to spray soooo much to get a noticeable scent with this bottle and it doesn’t last all day like the sample size. I did some research and there are so many reviews pointing out the full sizes are less potent than tbe samples.

It’s clearly a thing JHAG does. Safe your money bc the scent is beautiful but it’s not worth the $$$.

I picked up a bottle of Black Phantom after watching multiple review videos and wanting a nice coffee scent. This is my favorite cologne so far, however, there are some things to note: 1. This is not a projecting scent, it sticks closer to your skin.

However, it is lovely and I personally prefer it, as it only is noticeable when people are close. 2. This is an expensive product, however, it has a good amount of longevity, especially when spraying on a T-shirt.

It is often noticeable (though less powerful) on my shirt even after the next day. 3. This is labeled as a unisex cologne, however, I would say leans masculine. That being said, bold and confident women would be able to rock it.

If you are okay with the above, then go ahead and pick up a bottle. I’d say its best use would be on a colder night/winter season, but I’ve still been wearing it regularly because I love the smell.

The Juliette Has A Gun Magnolia Bliss Eau De Parfum is the ideal sexy summer fragrance for women. Though it has a musky and mature tone, it’s not so strong as to be off-putting or overbearing. It has an exquisite blend of Bergamot, Magnolia, and Ambroxan with a slight hint of fruity Mirabelle Plum that rounds out the fragrance beautifully while adding a hint of flirty youthfulness when it dries down.

This fragrance actually reminds me quite a bit of the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Illicit Green, but it is a more bold and daring version of that. It has extreme lasting power, as well; this fragrance is still easily detectable at the end of the day on both skin and clothing.

This is a perfume I expect to purchase again, because I love the thoughts and memories of summertime this elicits. It may be a while before I need to, though, because you only need one or two sprays to last you till night and beyond! If you enjoy lighter, more subtle fragrances, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for you.

But if you enjoy an adventurous and distinct fragrance, this one is sure to be a hit.

Let me start this off with my standard fragrance disclaimer – fragrances are very personal in both scent preference and how the perfume reacts to your particular body chemistry, so take my review with that grain of salt.

I tried this perfume for a couple of weeks before coming to review and I’m so glad I did. My initial spray of this on my body was just instant dislike, so I put it down and went about my day. I realized as the day went on that it was just the initial top notes that I wasn’t a fan of and the middle/base notes are WILDLY different from the top.

This perfume is supposed to have citrusy top notes but it smells like straight pepper on me. HOWEVER, when it dries down I start to get the hippie summer vibes that this perfume seemed to be going for.

The overall scent to me is walking through a cluster of magnolia trees in a humid summer – it’s a dense floral plus some musk. After a few hours it fades to a warm vanilla floral. On me it lasts maybe 6 hours and the sillage is moderate in the first 3 hours and mild in the last 3.

This did not smell (to me) like the fruity floral it claims to be, but if you’re into a heavier/muskier floral vibe, I think it’s definitely worth a try. Also, the bottle is heavy, pretty, and functional (they didn’t try to be gimmicky which I appreciate) and the sprayer delivers a super fine, medium-spread mist (I absolutely love how this sprays).

I had gotten a sample of this as part of a discovery set a few years ago and loved the scent. It was soapy, fresh and simple and lasted almost the whole work day. I decided to get this because I remembered how much I loved that sample.

It just isn’t the same. The perfume I received smells stale, and doesn’t last long and doesn’t have the clean brightness of the sample I got a few years ago. It still smells gentle and comforting but it also has a hint of what I would describe as a bad breath smell? It also doesn’t last long at all.

Really disappointed and might return it because it’s not the same. I’ve heard bad things about the superdose version so I feel like that’s not an option either. I’m wondering if they changed where they source their cetalox from or if the non-scent ingredients in the formula are different.

I wish they’d admit they changed the formula and bring back the old version! I didn’t look at reviews before purchasing (because I thought I knew the smell based off my sample) but it’s clear I’m not the only one who thinks it smells off.

Alrighty my friends, listen up! I bought this as a present to myself about 7 months ago, and have been using it non stop as my latest signature scent. The fragrance is clean yet as a beautiful finish on the skin.

However, the reason why I am giving this perfume a 4 star is because it sadly does not last long. What I ended up doing is purchasing the matching hand cream so now each time I wear it I put same of the cream on my neck and layer the perfume on.

Lets just say this gives me a perhaps 3 more hours of it on. I purchased this product before the price increase and decided to only get the 50ml, tbh don’t, purchase the 100ml, you will thank me later because you will soon realise the next minute you need to purchase more and the 100ml is more worth your money.

Overall, the fragrance is beautiful, fresh and clean scent, I do recommend.

Ardent is one of the best rose fragrances of all time, and period. This has beeswax rose with vanilla and oud , and this comes off like a super jammy rose. It’s also slightly powdery, which gives it a bit of a mature, classy energy to it.

The coriander and carrot seeds add a bit of spiciness but at the end of the day it’s all about the bees wax rose and vanilla. This comes with a caveat: you must age it at home when you get this. When I first received it, it was a love but I had major problems with projection and longevity.

I stashed it away and 6 months later, the juice darkened, and the fragrance got stronger, and everything I loved was amplified. This is an every season wear, but really shines in the in-between seasons, and can be worn for any occasion minus casually to the store or on your way to the gym or something.

A true masterpiece.

Very photorealistic citrus. At times, it smells like you just cut a lemon in half and held it up to your face. It smells high quality and well-blended – very potent and natural-smelling; niche but not in a challenging way.

It does almost veer into “cleaning spray” territory at times, but stays wearable for most of its duration. I would prefer it without the petitgrain, which gives it a bit of a bitter edge. But overall it’s so bright and vivid that it’s pretty enjoyable.

Outstanding perfume! Extremely classy and elegant, you definitely need to be dressed up to have this on! But if you are a frag head like myself I wear my niche perfume anytime anywhere I want. I absolutely love it.
