Cute set and the bag that comes with it is handy. The pins are smaller than I expected but workable for kids. The balls are too light and already the paint is chipping. Overall, a nice inexpensive set for kids outdoor bowling.

Comes with a draw string bag to carry places or keep from rolling around in the car. Is smaller than looks in picture but still perfect for toddler play in back yard. Solid wood construction with 2 smaller wooden balls (not big bowling balls) to knock them over.

Since it’s for grandkids, I think a foam-style ball will be a better choice to use for now.

Although I haven’t given it to my husband yet for Father’s Day, I know he will be thrilled with this. I was very surprised by the quality; it’s amazing. This will be in the car for vacation at the beach this year.

It’s perfect for hard sand as well as for the backyard. The kids will enjoy being the pin setters for each other and the adults will have a blast. It will be quite the renaissance experience.

When assembled the product didn’t sit flat. The slide and steps tocuh the ground bit the middle sections doesn’t. I also feel like the slide is too steep, though one of my one year olds have no issue going down it.

My one year olds also try to climb the ball drop shelves and end up pulling the unit over onto themselves. Do not assemble in a room you don’t plan on keeping it in. It dosen’t fit through doors with the water table attached.

Lastly, my one year olds pull out the water table plug quite easily and won’t leave it alone.

Bright colors, lots of balls (what child doesn’t like balls?) but assembly can be slightly challenging. The very first step is connecting the support strut to the two side pieces and it soon becomes obvious that no amount of hammering is going to do anything but break the plastic.

A call to customer service and a conversation with a very friendly and HIGHLY knowledgeable rep gave me the solution. Use soapy water or vegetable oil (I used oil)and have a second person steady the pieces as you hammer.

I ended up doing it myself and the pieces quickly went into place. Since instructions are primarily pics (very few worded help) it may not be clear that a small block of wood is best to use rather than hammering the plastic directly.

You will also need to use the oil/soapy water on the rubber plug in the ball receptacle to make it go all the way through as shown in the pics. No info is given on the purpose of this piece — I assume it’s so a child can fill the tub with water?If you are assembling this to go into a different space from where you are working, you likely will not get it through a door (unless you have sliding patio doors) and will need to attach the ball receptacle in the place where it will be used.

I question if it’s really necessary to actually attach the ball receptacle, making it easier to move from room to room or from inside to out. To transport by vehicle you will likely have to wait to actually attach the steps and slide.

When using the black plastic plugs, no need to hammer as shown in the pics. They can easily be pushed through the holes by hand. Really looks great and I have no doubt our grandson will love this.

I rate this product a 3 because it is a good item, my son enjoyed playing with it but the reviews did mention about the construction of it and most said if you’re single mother it wouldn’t work out. I always like to defeat the odds but it was a little difficult, requires a hammer, a screw,which I read on the review, so I went to go buy my own electric screwdriver.

but it also requires some type of block, now I’m not too sure what that was. You cannot return the product to the store, so you would have to wait to contact their customer support for help but I’m Pacific Standard time and I believe they were Eastern & i didn’t want to wait So my mother helped.

They really aren’t any holes where the screwdrivers is supposed to go and I am so glad that I bought the electric screwdriver because it came in handy. It is overall fun product but the building to it can be little stressful if you aren’t use to putting things togethers.

This is so much fun! We live in Maryland with unpredictable weather. If you don’t know it can be mid 70s one day and the next couple inches of snow. I say that because we leave this outside not super protected and they have held up kind of well.

The rings that selves have faded but we all enjoy the game. We have 3 kids 6,4,and 3 and all of them have fun with this.

I gave this to my granddaughter for her 5’th birthday she really liked it probably her favorite present of the day. I personally would have sent it back had I opened it up before I wrapped it. It was very cheaply made.

I have been buying from LL Bean for close to 50 years and have been disappointed like this only once or twice before.

I thought your site was very easy to maneuver and located items. I only wish you would list it an item is going to be taxed or not. I spent 4 hours putting in an order only to go one by one and check to see if a tax is added.

I understand you don’t charge tax but waiting until you are checking and then having to check every item is very cumbersome. I’m not sure how much I will use the site since I cannot be charged taxes.

This game has been the best purchase I brought this summer. It is keeping my 5 & 3 year grandchildren busy out in the yard – they love making up new games while playing it and it is something they can do with their older cousins when visiting.

When I ordered this, it arrived withing 3 days and I love the bag you can put it away in, taking up no room in the garage. I am going to purchase another one for when we have larger groups allowing several to play.

Love this ring toss game! It is easy to put together, can be used indoor or out. Simply love the fact that it can be dismantled and has a handy carrying bag. Keep it in the car for impromptu fun! Well made and even our 3 year old can play his version of it!.

Good quality game – my husband and I played against each other to test run this before our grandkids played. The only thing I wish it included was 2 colors of the rings, but otherwise I think I may order another one so we can toss from one to another.

Took me awhile to find one of these of decent quality at a decent price. Was relatively easy to put together. The umbrella is well made. Good sturdy wood, definitely wouldn’t support an adult’s weight, so just a little part of me wishes it was even sturdier so I could squeeze next to my kiddos sometimes to help them out, but I guess I just don’t belong there ;p It could also use a finish, but that can be done yourself at home.

Kids LOVE to dig in the sand and water and make messes, I set this up above the sandbox so the sand falling off goes right back into the sandbox. Kids love it, hours of entertainment.

This has been a great little table for my 2 & 4 year old grands! Love that it can be used for play or eating. My only criticism is that the wood was unfinished so I put a coat urethane on it to protect it from paint, markers, slime, goo, wet dirt/sand and all the other abuses it has endured.

We use the umbrella for sun AND rain play so this table has taken a beating. It has gone through a year of use and still looks good. but only because of that coat of urethane.

I purchased this picnic table & umbrella for my granddaughter’s birthday ~ she turned 4 years old on 3/22/2020. My daughter and I put the picnic table together within about 40 minutes. Both my granddaughters love it ~ however, my 6 year old granddaughter barely fits on the panel seat.

This is a rather limited picnic table in terms of who will sit at it but perfect for a 4 year old. My daughter and son-in-law plan to stain the wood and then possibly varnish it ~ maybe the girls will paint flowers on it.

I doubt it will last more than a season or possibly 2 depending on weather and usage. The umbrella, which really is the most compelling feature of the entire ensemble is very flimsy and may not last more than a couple months.

I would love to see more products like these on Best Choice but of a higher and sturdier qualility. I would be happy to pay MORE for a more durable product.

I have purchased Step2 products in the past for my grandchildren. Now I am purchasing them for my great-grandchildren. However, the quality of the product is not as durable as they used to be. I don’t know if it is due to NOT being made in and by USA only, parts are from other countries which do not have the same high quality standards as the USA in producing children’s products.

We are missing parts, screw, nuts, for the product, Naturally Playful Woodland Climber II, which we purchased for our 2 year old great-granddaughter. I am waiting for the missing parts to finish putting the item together.

It appears very unstable, even though it has all the screw, except 2, in the climber/slide. When we obtain the missing parts and it is still unstable, bottom does not stay together when bumped or moved, we will have to figure out how to make it stable so that it doesn’t collapse when in use.

If it can’t be fixable, then it will be a waste of money and time. Step 2 needs to step up to the plate and make their products like they used to or they will lose business.

We bought this climber for our 1 year old who loves to climb and loves slides. We bought it to keep it outside. There were a few things that were a bit challenging in putting it together. At first, we thought there were defects in some of the pieces because in the interlocking knob at the base of the 2 side walls, one side is straight and one side is crooked.

We believe it is supposed to be that way. We also greased the wheel with olive oil before sliding it on to ensure it’ll spin well. It’s still a bit of a tight fit, and doesn’t spin more than about half a circle with one spin, but better than when we didn’t grease it.

It was really confusing on how to get the slide on at first. My husband had to look up a video to figure it out. Basically you angle the slide and slide it in. There is a notch on each side that it’s supposed to snap under to lock in place.

Well, the second notch that you have to push hard to snap it under, the slide dents in inward! My husband thought he broke the piece! We were able to pop it back out, but we weren’t very thrilled with that being the way to do it.

Then we had to do the same thing with the ladder. Overall, the climber is sturdy, and has withstood some strong winds we’ve had recently. It’s big enough for 2 small kids to play on top. I do wish the wheels spun better, though.

I like that Step 2 products are a strong, durable plastic, that provide some give so the plastic won’t crack. The slide is high enough that it’s fun but she won’t outgrow it too fast.

This replaced the older one that finally fell apart. I was impressed that the quality improved since the purchase of the first one. Usually it’s the other way around. Everything is bolted together now and the slide is made with a lighter color so not to attract too much heat from the sun.

I operate a family daycare so this toy gets lots of use. It is safe, fun, and sturdy.

Great game! However there are three potential problems. 1) The stakes and string do not have any color to them making it hard to see so it is easy to trip over, similar to a camping tent. All three family members eventually tripped on the anchor straps while retrieving the bags.

2) If you hit anywhere on the game it bounces off. 3) The color combo isn’t ideal. It was hard to see because the colors are blue and green and darker and blend into the forest we were in. It might help to have a brighter color or contrasting bags instead of matching bags.

Still fun to play and seems well made.

my kids love corn hole, but we don’t have room to pack them for camping. while this isn’t quite the same, they loved playing it anyway. the only real drawback was that the bottom guy lines slipped pretty easily and had to be tightened and tied to stop the slip.

you definitely pay for the name on this one, but I was able to use some reward$, so it was worth the purchase.

Love this game! It’s lots of fun and easy to set up and use in all kinds of places. It’s very well made and packaged too. Couldn’t be happier with it.

This was a gift to my kids from their Great- Grandmother. It is great for indoor use during this cld wi er. AND Covid-19. We set it up in the hall way. My kids, ages 4 and 5, play “best out of 5” and are using the numbers to make adding and math fun.

Note: when using it outdoors or at further distances, the washer work WAY better- but I wouldn’t use them indoors.

Really fun and versatile game. My kids love the bean bag toss side and we use the washer toss side for more competitive adults. It’s really easy to put together so we bring it every camping trip. It seems really well made and has held up over multiple uses this summer.

Game Boards are sturdy, well constructed. It is nice that it comes with a carrying case for storage. It is slightly smaller than I had thought it was going to be, but for the price and the fact that it’s two games in one, you really cannot go wrong.

We have a 3. 5 year old and a one year old who both equally love this piece and the other two pieces to the activity climber. Great quality! We’ve had one of the pieces for over two years. No fading at all.

perfect for a younger toddler! Love that it can be used indoors or outdoors and is easily moved, fun climbing into and exploring underneath, or climbing up and then sliding down. Looking forward to adding other pieces to the set.

Excellent price point compared to many others we were looking at.

We love the Simplay3 Climber set. I really like that you can change around pieces in just a few minutes to make a different play set. My little one is obsessed with climbing things so this set was a no brainer.

The pieces are fairly easy to assemble and they are sturdy enough for me to sit on if mama needs a break.

I have several suggestions. 1) A list of what hardware you should have leftover with quantities would be extremely helpful. That way you can compare what you have left over with what you should have leftover and more easily determine where any mistakes may have been made.

2) Building off my previous suggestion, it would also be advantageous to be able to click on the parts in the parts list and have a menu pull up with a clickable list of steps in which that part is used.

3) A quick access ruler to measure hardware that came out of the identifying packaging would be very useful.

I just started putting this together yesterday and at about 3 hours in, I’m almost finished. The kit is great quality, all of my screw holes line up, everything is there, etc. The kit is lighter than expected, like my wife and I can move it around with no issues, but it does come with anchors to anchor it down.

It’s also a little smaller than expected, which is fine, I just didn’t study the measurements like I should have. Overall, its a great kit though, especially if you have a smaller yard.

We purchased this fabulous set for our little grandson and he absolutely loves it. Two swings (we paid extra for a bucket swing seat as well as the ordinary seat), a climbing wall, slide, covered fort on top with mesh sides for safety and complete with a blackboard too.

It was straightforward to erect, with clear and detailed instructions and is very solid. A great outdoor play set he’ll enjoy for years. Thank you.

Just finished assembling this quality play set today and my 18 month old loves it! My husband and I assembled it together and it took 3 hours (we are relativity competent and efficient). Definitely lay all the pieces out prior to assembly! This is the perfect size for a small yard and I think our daughter will enjoy it for a least a couple of years.

I purchased this play-set as a birthday gift for my grandchildren. I wanted something that they would enjoy but it couldn’t be too big due to the yard being small. This play set is perfect. They love the kitchen for pretend play, they love the slide, and the storage spot on the bottom helps us to clean up after play and store the toys for next time.

I purchased this gel blaster gun for my son to have for outdoor use. First impressions out of the box were that this is quite a sturdy toy gun and can most likely sustain some hard play use. Also it is very safe for use.

Recommend that the pellets be soaked in water for at least 4 hours to achieve proper size for use with this item. The toy gun itself is brightly and playfully painted up so it would be quite difficult to mistake it for the real deal.

Once loaded these pellets do fire rapidly and disintegrate almost upon impact leaving behind only some moisture to show where exactly you hit on your target. Secondly this item has some good range on it for a toy gun.

Allows for the kids to really spread out and run around all over. This item is rechargeable and depending on the use a full battery will afford you about 3 to 5 hours of play time!.

Who doesn’t enjoy playing with frisbees? The frisbee is a toy that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. I recently started working from home and after sitting for most of the day, my son and I ran outside during my break to throw this around.

It was fun and a great way to bond with my young boy. I’m looking forward to bringing it along for our trips to the park and maybe the beach once the weather is warmer.

Nice little addition to our outdoor play space. The kids like hiding in it and will climb better as they age. They’re 4 and 2 and I find the height to be appropriate for them. Only weird part is the black knobs at all the joints.

They’re raised and seem like they might hurt if they were to bump their knees or elbows while climbing but otherwise I’m satisfied with this purchase.

I think if the bolts would be colored coated it would make assembly easier. They’re two different sizes and you can’t tell by looking at them quickly, they’re maybe a quarter inch different. Also, locking washers on the backs would be a good idea.

Other than that. this thing is perfect size and daycare kids love it!.

The play pen I received lacked the built in buckle to keep it in the closed position, as advertised in videos, ads, etc. I was told by costumer service that I received the “new/updated” version that comes with a separate, tiny elastic band that is pretty much worthless and incredibly frustrating to get back on.

Without the play pen being held in the closed position it’s nearly impossible to get the tent back in the carrying case before you just give up out of frustration. You most definitely cannot hold a child while taking the play pen out of the carry case, removing the elastic band and setting it up one handed… isn’t that one of the convenience factors they are selling? Maybe I could if it had the attached buckle but I guess they aren’t selling those anymore? The new version also doesn’t come with the loop at the top (again, as advertised on the website) to hang toys from.

That wasn’t as big of a deal but kinda sucks if you were planing to use it. Overall, the tent seems sturdy and pops open as easily as it looks on the website. I decided to keep it because 1. I don’t necessarily trust the refund process- I would prefer to return it to the manufacturer rather than making sure I get the correct “proof of donation” documentation that’s satisfactory to costumer service for a refund.

Once it’s donated, it’s gone. what if my proof isn’t good enough? Do I not get a refund? Not willing to take the gamble. 2. I can still use it but being that it takes two people to get it back in the carry bag, I just can’t use it alone when out and about with my kids like I planned on using it.

Just wish I was told I was buying the newer version. It’s too expensive to not get exactly what’s advertised!.

The product is very sturdy and was pretty simple to put together. My daughter has had hours of fun playing on it. Delivery went very smooth. Product came in perfect condition and exactly as described.

I bought this slide/ fort activity center for my toddler grandchildren. They absolutely love it and all the fun features to explore. My son in law had the job of putting it together and he reported that it was very easy.

Bought this for my grandson, age 2 1/2. He is absolutely thrilled and asks to go to “my playground” every day. My daughter is thrilled because it’s big but not too big for him to jump off, and she can watch him happily playing from the sliding glass door if she needs to do something inside.

This climber lets him feel like a “big boy” and able to do things himself — so very important at that age! I am SO glad I bought this for them. My grandson no longer begs to go to the park playground since he has his own, very entertaining, multi-use playset.
