20 Best Outdoor Artificial Hanging Baskets (2022 Updated)

I bought this at the end of summer so I haven’t seen yet how it fares outdoors. The picture is misleading because it does not have that many blooms on it. I added small rocks to the basket to weigh it down because it can get very windy where I live.

Overall I’m happy with this hanging basket because it’s the best-looking one I could find and seems to be of good quality. I really like that it will brighten up my front porch without the maintenance of real flowers.

These geraniums are nothing short of being simply gorgeous! I purchased 2 and just changed the baskets to coordinate with my fence and used the other baskets for some other flowers l ordered from Near Natural.

I got these geraniums to hang from my pergola, yet to be installed. These are perfect for me, as I can no longer lift a watering can full of water above my head! For now, they’ve been hanging around my house and garage, and everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful and realistic they are! 5 stars PLUS!.

Bought red geraniums which were absolutely realistic and vibrant and beautiful , but after two months in the spring sunshine, they have totally faded out. Nearly Naturals has no warranty, so I am disappointed.

The Nearly Natural Geranium Hanging Basket arrived in good shape and needed only minor fluffing before it was hung on my front porch. The flowers are somewhat brighter white than shown in the picture on my monitor.

The dense foliage and flowers make a cheerful display that brightens my porch. I would recommend this item.

We used to buy hanging baskets with these live, but they never lived very long. I bought 3 of these to hang outside on our deck in front of picture windows right outside our living room. Now we can enjoy them inside and outside! They really look nice and I was very happy that each one of them is slightly different as far as the configuration of the flowers goes.

That just makes them look more real. I wish could see a link to upload a picture. I’m not sure how some people have been able to do that. I’ve bought 6 different plants from Nearly Natural and loved 5 of them.

Can’t do much better than that. The only one I didn’t love was easy to return and I got a quick refund. So buy with confidence.

I must say, that while these are very pretty, they are not worth the price. I purchased 3 of these for my front porch since I was unable to get out to purchase hanging baskets due to the COVID-19 virus.

First of all, I’ve lost far too many leaves/flowers, they just don’t seem to be on the plant very securely and the jute arms are awful. And, I do hang them in a safe area if we are getting high winds and storms.

They do not hang evenly, and seem to get worse the longer they hang. I just spent this evening cutting the jute arms away and adding chain arms to hang them. I’ve purchased other hanging baskets from QVC, but these are the worst.

all in all, these are just awful! VERY DISAPPOINTED!.

Love these. Birds are always nesting in the real hanging plants and of course they all die quickly. If birds nest in these I can just hose them off after the birds fly away. No one knows they’re not real.

The first day I got this basket I put 3 new batteries in it and placed it outside. The lights were dim but I chalked it up to still being light outside. The next few days I noticed the lights were coming on so I thought I forgot to turn the timer on.

When I went to check it, I found the batteries had already died so I put in 3 new batteries again and a day later it wont turn on.

I purchased 3 of these baskets to hang outdoors on my patio. For the last 5 years, I have purchased fresh hanging baskets that have been pretty, but very expensive, and they only last for a few months even in the cold.

From far away, these baskets look like real greenery and they have lovely lights. They are beautiful. So glad I purchased them.

This is certainly NOT worth the astronomical price! It looks so fake! It doesn’t bend into place. When it arrived in the box it was all bunched up and a challenge to get out of the tight carton. Trying to work and fluff out the greenery and flower doesn’t help.

The leaves stay twisted backwards. The begonias and leaves are not wired so they don’t bend. If I decide to keep this, I will have to buy some green moss, at the craft store, to fill in around the base of the plant.

Otherwise you can see where the artificial pieces are stuck into the foam. I am so sorry I made this purchase! I bought 2 other hanging plants last year of different varieties (for half the price) and they are great! Don’t get pulled in by this one or you will be disappointed! It doesn’t even deserve 1 star!.

The plant looks real to me unless you get up real close and then you can see that it’s artificial. I’m going to hang it in a spot that gets very little sun and where I always have trouble keeping an expensive “real” planter looking good.

I think this will fit the bill for what I need to decorate my front porch, where no one really goes because the main entrance to my home is in the back. But from the street, the planter will look lovely.

It’s also not one-sided, you just need to move the branches and place them evenly around. I think it’s well made. I like the rope to hang it with, versus plastic. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Nearly Natural has one of the most beautiful and lifelike geranium plants I’ve ever seen. However, we ordered two and only received one. It’s been nearly a month and we still cannot get them to answer us or tell us when we’ll receive the second plant, but they charged us for two plants! We have not been able to talk with anyone about this discrepancy nor does anyone at Nearly Natural answer the phones.

Their products do not make up for their lack of customer service, lack of an itemized bill, or lack of cooperation to honor the order! I am sure there are other companies out there who offer just as nice products and have better customer service.

Beautiful, high quality flowered plant looks so real, I just love it in my kitchen. I also purchased three large Nearly Natural Boston ferns and another hanging plant through a store and ALL of them are so natural and beautiful! I would not buy any other brand for artificial plants, ever, these are perfect, thank you.

I bought this plant to hang outside under our carport. After receiving it I was surprised to see that it was full on three sides only. Since the wind turns it around, it is not acceptable the way it looks.

When I called customer service to see if they could provide some additional foliage to fill it out, they said “no”, the only thing they said they could do for me was a refund of 10%, for a grand total of $6.

88. Since their website does not offer a 360 degree view of the item, it was impossible to know in advance that there was no foliage in the back of the plant. I am very disappointed with the response I received.

Not in the customer service personnel, but in the policy of the company. With so much competition with website shopping, one would think that customer service, and satisfaction would be a priority. What does the cost of one plant mean to a big company, when it comes to good customer relations!! They could have shipped me another plant so that I could add the additional foliage to properly fill it out.

We had planned on purchasing two more plants, but will not now. In fact, I have asked to have my name removed off their mailing list.

Just what I was looking for, w box and glasses, no breaks or chips or home made, this is the real deal and worth the price of admission for any office fan. Careful which one u buy, his glasses should be silver like in the show, not black, was tempted by that model because it was 10 bux less.

I am not happy with my 2 baskets. Now both of the ropes are fraying badly. I called about one of the baskets and was told they are no longer in stock. I could send them back or she could give me a credit.

Well I’m not taking my time and money to send them back, so I took a very very little credit. Mind you these baskets were 79. 99 a piece. not cheap but yet both of the hanging features are malfunctioning!!! I am not happy at all with your products.

I bought these to hang on my front porch, which gets a lot of sun. After 2 months out there the leaves turned pale blue. Now they are sitting out by my trash heap.

I can’t believe how beautiful these flower baskets are. The quality is superb and the flowers look so life like. I highly recommend these to anyone who needs flowers in a place where they can’t have live ones.

The heat on my porch is so extreme I can’t keep live flowers alive in the summer.

These are very pretty and full, however there is not a standard basket and the baskets are very cheap looking. I received two different brackets. Customer care just wanted to return them. I called and they still said to return them or keep the ugly two baskets (when they’re to hang side by side) with a 10% discount.

I’m hoping they make this right, and possibly improve the baskets, because the 1980’s is calling and want their ugly baskets back. Wish I could post a picture, but I can’t. Wish they had nice looking containers for these beautiful ferns.

Then they’d be 5 stars.

Beware that pictures do not match what is given. The customer service is awful and non responsive and evasive. I ordered 2 hanging ferns which came in two different baskets. The baskets are ugly and 1980’s/cheap dollar store baskets.

For this price I should at least get two ugly matching baskets. There is NO WAY for them to be able to give me two identical baskets. The company only operates via email and will not communicate with warehouse on getting something matching.

Utterly a waste of my time trying to get two identical items. Beware, things will not be the same when ordering to and they will not find you two to be the same!.

For the price, I was expecting this to be a fabulous plant. What I got was only ok. Several issues: 1) there was absolutely no protective material around the planter, so sadly when I got my order, one of the planter’s feet was broken off; 2) as the website explains, the foliage is shipped straight up and the customer is expected to arrange it.

I’m still having difficulty getting mine to look natural. 3) some of the leaves are missing green dye in places. I feel this should have been caught in their QA process. 4) Many of the leaflettes were bent in crazy directions as a result of packing, and they absolutely will not flatten out so they look natural.

5) some of the tiny wires in back of the leaflettes weren’t glued onto the leaf, making it look cheap. 6) the brown branches are cheap plastic; would it have been so difficult to have these be made of a natural material in order to make this piece look more lifelike? Overall, the plant does look real, unless you’re right up on it — but I did expect better quality and more careful shipping for the price that’s being charged.

I will probably not be purchasing anything else from Nearly Natural.

Bought this for the cemetery. Looks beautiful and I don’t have to worry about watering like a live plant. Also not too heavy for the hook like a live plant. Held up really well through all types of weather.

The only draw back is the twine to hang it. I suggest using a glue gun on the knot to keep it from slipping at the point that it all comes together. It can slip thus allowing the basket to hang crooked.

I was looking forward to seeing these flowers for a few years at least but I’m afraid one or two will be all because of the inferior quality of the string. I’m really quite surprised because the flowers and plants look to be of good quality.

Have any suggestions? It took me 3 hrs to fix the one and who knows how long the rest will last. My wife and I were both happy at first because everything added so much to the porch and hoped for some time to come but are disappointed because of what we are confronted with.

I was willing to pay the price for the quality but beginning to doubt their longevity. Please advise me with a solution.

Color of flowers was off. They were a super bright orange and not what I was expecting. The color of the basket was also darker and not as pretty as the imagine online. It was not an inexpensive plant but my first impression upon pulling it out of the box was that it looked cheap.

Love this arrangement with all the colors offered. You can turn it around to show a different color everyday or when ever. I am going to put this out in a near shaded area patio that is the French theme, so this will really take a person away on vacation when it isn’t possible.

Of Course, if not UV plant, one takes their own risk of fading. I have had no problem with Nearly Natural since I started collecting a few years ago. The metal pot is very stylish and nice height. So beautiful!! Again thank you Q for bringing this brand to us and on easy pay is a real win win!! Also, could you try always to bring in brands that have the UV protection so we can enjoy for years to come without a problem.

I purchased this Silver Queen to anchor the empty corner of our sun room. At 32” tall it makes a visual statement far greater than its size suggests. Now when the sun streams in, it highlights the variegated leaves and provides a strong visual counterpoint to the mostly white room.

So nice to have the strong green leafy presence. Mission accomplished! Also, the planter has richly detailed sides, evoking tooled leather, which beautifully complements the incredibly lifelike foliage.

I ordered this exact plant on 6/16/21 and my money was taken from my account. Last week, on 8/4/21 I received a notice that my item was out of stock. I was disappointed but understand many things are beyond the control of a company today.

I went on the site to purchase a replacement and saw this listing for the EXACT SAME product, same pictures, same dimensions, same color basket. but $40 more expensive. The SKU was changed from P1761 to P1763.

I called and they refused to offer my purchase price even after acknowledging it was the same product. I wouldn’t have even been as frustrated if they didn’t hold onto my money for the last 2 months while I patiently waited for the purchase.

I am disappointed in this business’ ethics and values. Be careful purchasing through here- at least be aware to what type of organization this is.

Arrived in timely manner, beautiful and natural looking. Gave it as a gift and she loved it.

I’ve ordered a lot of plants from Nearly Natural and most are good quality. This one definitely is not. The basket is cheap, the plant was mangled on arrival due to being packed upside down, and it just looks incredibly fake.

Even after my best efforts at straightening the leaves, there are big gaps where you can see obviously plastic pieces, the craftsmanship is shoddy, and the whole thing is just really ugly. Returning.

I recently purchase this item and it just looks so real. I’d love to post a photo. I am so pleased with this hanging plane and I do not have to water it! Would certainly recommend it.

I have a low light home because of natural patio covers the builder designed into our home. Because of this all the corners you’d want to it a plant they would not get enough light to live. Nearly Natural has solved that for me.

All my dead or non growing plants are gone replaced by beautiful spots of green lushness. Thank you Nearly Natural for giving my house green life.

I’m a professional Floral Designer, retired after 35years. Silk flowers and plants can be quite pricey, depending on your wants and needs. I retired to Arizona which leaves not much chance of growing much other than cactus and succulents.

I longed for the look of green growing plants. I saw these on Zulilly and thought they looked very good for the price. So I figured it was only time spent if they needed to be returned. I was so pleasantly surprised at their quality and realistic look.

They are absolutely spot on and I ordered 5 more all different species to give me a nice variety in my covered garden. Some of them claim to be UV resistant which is a bonus. However the longevity is the key and to achieve that I cover each leaf with a coating of polyurethane, this prolong the life of plant for a very long time without leaf color bleaching out of the leaf.

Nearly Natural really should spend more time getting pictures of their plants in real life settings. Not just for a better idea of scale, but for coloring as well. The picture of it at the top does NOT do them justice.

These look as real as can be, even “close up,” as in standing next to it. They are nice and full. I’ve already put two of them in urns on either side of my front door on my porch. I’ve been buying real ones for 2 years now, only to watch them eventually die when it gets colder.

I even brought the first set in for winter. still died. Took longer, but result was the same. Now that I put these at the door, I can’t tell the difference when I walk pass them from the real ones. I can’t wait to put the others I bought in my hanging planters for my front porch.

If you get these, make sure to tell any house sitter not to water them!.

We ordered the matching tree & swag. All 3 looked so pretty on our apartment balcony. that is, for a few days. The hanging basket lights quit working after 7 days. It was such a disappointment. These decorations were on the expensive side.

We had hoped to use them for several seasons. Changing to fresh batteries did not help, there appears to be a short somewhere, but they are so dense that it is impossible to troubleshoot.

The purpose of ordering this was to have outdoors. So far it seems to hold up, however the battery powered lights that came with it do not hold up. You need to provide your own 3 batteries. It needs turned on and off which is inconvenient being outdoors.

The batteries didn’t even make it through the night. I had to wrap it with additional lights. I would not recommend a pre-lit purchase.

I think this is a good buy for the price. It is quite plain so I added the red berries as shown. The faux pines are on a metal rod stuck in the middle of the basket which I thought was weird, but after fluffing out it looks full.

The lights work nice. love timer feature. I would buy again.

My order just arrived. a Bourgainvilla basket. smushed into a box which crunched all the branches; isn’t enough flowers on one side so looks horrible from one side; basket rope is set unevenly so until I wroked with it, it did NOT hang evenly.

WASTE OF MONEY. Never again. 🙁 $100. 00 for a basket of [email protected] DON’T BUY; you’ll be disappointed and is from CHINA.

I bought four of these for my front porch which is north facing and I cannot have blooming flowers. They are very realistic looking, and will pay off in the long run when I don’t have to replace ferns each year.

Plant and pots are nice, however the sisal string holding the baskets is not very durable and will not last. I expect to replace with more durable string or chains shortly. For the price, they should have used better string.

Dazzling Service! Speediest of Deliveries! We ordered four of this same flower about four years ago – for our porch on the West Wing! It was a giant hit! It fooled everyone! I felt sorry that I stepped on their cake by telling them they were were silk! Should have kept my mouth shut! They thought that I had a terrific green thumb, and that I must have a lot of time to spend to be able to keep them so well groomed.

We just added onto the porch, and needed an extra basket. Everything about the newest basket was identical to the previous four. They are positively magnificent, and I would hang them everywhere – all over place! On every shepherd’s hook I own, and possible on a lot of tree branches!.

It adds a wonderful splash of beautiful color and hanging by the living room window looks so alive and inviting. You want to go up to it and smell the flowers. They look so real !! “R”. P. S. I plan to add little white lites for the holidays to accent it even more.

If you are in an apartment that is DULL, not exciting, ugly baseboard, HIDE them and bring your home to life. I did just that and placed artificial flowers and plants between furniture and covered up ugly spots and brought my whole home to life in a blaze of colors.

Hanging flowers/plants, posh, just more for your money to spread around. I have a guide dog and I kill any real plants or flowers in 1 day. With these neither my German Shepherd or I can kill them, just pick them up and shake off dog hair and dust, works great, I love this set the most WELL worth the extra cost.

Really cute plant for our front porch. We wanted a plant to dress up our front porch. We don’t get direct sunlight so we decided to go with an artificial plant. This one is perfect, very pretty and realistic looking.

The only drawback is it obviously fuller on one side so we had to be careful about how it was positioned.

For the amount of money I spent on these AND being that QVC sells them (I have shopped with QVC for years and trust their buyers) I was sooooo looking forward to getting them. They are the WORST quality faux plants I have EVER seen! Each plant looks as if they are missing 75% of the plant, they look NOTHING like the picture on here and they look worse than what you find at the $ store.

I was wondering why there are NO videos of this product. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!.

I just need to say that at this point I’m really enjoying my purchase. I have yet to put it outside for I’m in Buffalo New York and it is still cold out. I usually buy about $200. worth of real plants.

Actually looks better than the picture. Classy, subtle and tasteful. Very well filled-out and adjustable to get the right look for where you want to use it (i. e. every stem is bendable). Has held up perfectly on a covered patio by the pool, where I used 2 of them to “frame” a wall-mounted TV on an extended swivel arm (i.

e. hide the sides and cables). The only thing I’d nitpick about is that where the “plant” is anchored in the pot is solid (which is good) but then they heaped on a bunch of kinda fake grass-ish stuff to top it off.

Outdoors, that has a tendancy to blow away. It would have been better if they’d done something less likely to do so. However, when hanging above head level you’re not going to notice anyway – which is why this is just a minor thing for me.

Overall, very pleased with the results. Quality is excellent.

We were basically happy with the hanging pothos that we ordered. We have been doing some remodeling and it filled an empty corner perfectly. I would have rated it a 5 but, the hanger fell apart the first time we hung it.

I was able to do a temporary fix and once I get a chance, I will do a better one. The basket is slightly crooked but we were able to adjust the hanger to make it straight.

Just received this. Not as nice as the geraniums I bought several years ago that I use outdoors in a shaded area. Not as soft. Looks okay from a distance
