20 Best Outdoor Built In Griddle (2022 Updated)

I purchased this item at full price from my local tractor supply. It was the last Blackstone available and I had been really wanting one. The box was wet and smelled like cat pee, but against my better judgment, I purchased it and took it home.

I started taking the pieces out of the box and began to put it together. The last piece was the griddle top. The griddle top was severely damaged, rusted and was inoperable. In turn, I contacted Blackstone to have them send me a new top.

That was on September 5. I still don’t have a new griddle top (10/13) and I haven’t been able to use the Blackstone after much anticipation of purchasing it. There is no current estimated time on when the griddle top would come.

I purchased the item from a Tractor Supply an hour away from home and am contemplating dropping it back off to them and asking for a refund. If Blackstone can’t fulfill my damaged part, they should pick up the grill and deliver and entirely new one.

I am very frustrated.

I just picked up my 36 inch Blackstone, and at first I didn’t think I needed a 36 inch, I was mistaken. I can cook up smash burgers and chicken and veggies all at the same time, and have fantastic leftovers.

So far I have cooked potatoes and onions, yellow squash and zucchini, pancakes, pork chops, breakfast and everything came out amazing! I have to say, my gas grill may be a little lonely now, this new griddle is simply amazing.

It cooks fast and is an easy clean up. I will be using this so much in the future, and now my outdoor cooking is complete. I have an electric smoker, a wood smoker, and a gas grill, and now another way to my outdoor culinary experience.

The price here is very good as well, got it on sale and it beat the other warehouse price. One more thing, it’s not that difficult to assemble. I wish they had carried some Blackstone utensils, but maybe in the future.

I don’t know how I went this long without an outdoor griddle!!.

We purchased the Blackstone Griddle from Tractor Supply. It was delivered the same day! Tractor Supply had the best price of all, by far, for the Blackstone Griddle. The delivery gal was very pleasant.

Tractor Supply is our favorite store-we love to purchase pet food and supplies, clothing, gifts, and best of all baby chicks! The prices and selection are great and there is always something new to see.

Tractor supply also has a pet vaccination clinic which seems very convenient and inexpensive. We have not yet utilized this service but have plans to have our dogs vaccinated there this summer.

Ordered this awesome griddle from Amazon. It came to me fast and eleven thought this grill is heavy the box was still a box O saw a couple small punctures but nothing happened to the grill. I was so excited I started assembling without instructions, my girlfriend started looking at the instructions just in case I couldn’t get it together but setup was a breeze!Yes just like any cast iron products you need to Season and condition the griddle.

Follow instruction or YouTube conditioning and seasoning your Blackstone Griddle. Forget Tik Tok, that’s for retards!The instructions are fine unless you can’t read you probably shouldn’t have this cooking device to begin with.

I recently purchased a Blackstone 36″ Pro- II grill. I haven’t even used it yet, but I’m sure it will be great. The part I wanted to rate was the packaging, instructions and assembly. Everything was perfect.

The grill which was probably 80% assembled, was packaged extremely well. No damage or missing parts. The instructions were pretty simple and straight forward with good diagrams. The wrench that was supplied to tighten the caster wheels wax pretty cheaply made, but it got the job done.

The rest of the assembly was very simple. I think the placement of the top of the grill being placed onto the lower section of the grill could have included written instructions explaining the lining up of the 4 pins.

Adding “insert the small pins at the end of the round support legs” would have made the mounting process clearer. Lastly, the adhesive used on the enormous stickers placed on the grill was well thought out for removal.

With the exception of the sticker placed on top of the moveable grill cover. It will probably take me longer to get all of that sticker off than the time it took to assemble the entire grill. In closing, the grill was built exceptionally well.

The engineering details that went into it to make assembly simple was well thought out. Try to take care of that minor detail with the adhesive used on the sticker/decal used on the top of the metal grill cover.

Overall, job well done Blackstone!.

I have had the griddle for about two months now and my overall cooking experience has been good. Great for pancakes, French toast, and wrapped omelettes. I like being able to cook for ten people at once without making a hot greasy mess of the kitchen.

I would prefer if the grease catch pan was in front rather than in the back, but besides that, I like the overall design. I’ve had an issue with igniting the grill on a couple occasions. I had to use a lighter to get it going, but it was a very cold when that happened so I’m guessing that that was the cause.

I also had very low flame a couple times, even though I am running a full propane tank. It’s like the gas was restricted or something. That is definitely an issue if it continues but I’m guessing it also has to do with the extreme cold.

I do find it a little annoying that the grill doesn’t come with a lid. I mean come on Blackstone, really? Oh you can buy one separately as an “accessory”. Having said more about the things I don’t like, you might think I wouldn’t recommend the grill, but you’re wrong.

I highly recommend it. I wish I had bought one ten years ago.

No where besides the manual does it say it requires a separate cavity and door for the propane tank. The tank will not fit in the area below the grill because they now made a huge drip tray catch unlike previous webers.

Without having the tank in a different location the parts won’t assemble properly. Also, the trim kit is only meant to be installed around counter tops without an overhang off the face of the stone. Two good things to mention without having to dive into the manual.

Quality seems very good and well engineered and thought through other than that.

BBQ is great. TheS-460 installation manual is quite unhelpful when describing the gas hookup. The manual describes a hookup only when the gas feed is in an adjacent cabinet. This is not a common situation.

It is much more common to have a gas feed behind the grill. Why can’t the flexible metal hose go through the back of the grill cabinet, as opposed to only through the side of the grill cabinet? This causes a great deal of confusion.

Suggest you rethink the installation manual.

We purchased our 460 Built in Summit Gas Grill in 2012. The product quality does not match the high price tag. Although customer service is friendly, the warranty is not. For example, as of last night, the infrared burner will no longer heat.

Today I contacted customer service to be told that the associated parts are not under warranty. I was quoted a parts price and then would have to pay labor. Since I can not diagnose the problem to know if it is the IR burner Box or wiring, I don’t know what to do when repair becomes a large out of pocket expense.

Our grill is well maintained, always under cover but has rust and corroded pieces internally. We enjoy grilling year round even in Chicago winters. I really loved my Summit but now it has become a money pit and it is only 8 years old.

Very disappointed right now.

I have had my Blaze Griddle installed now for a week. We did make three great meals. So, we will certainly chalk that up as a win! Looks great and sharp in the bbq island. That said, I used a thermal heat gun (laser) and I could never seem to get the surface the heat more than 250 degrees.

I also couldn’t see the blue flames of the burners like I guess I thought I would? It was windy as well this weekend / very windy. Ours is natural gas from the house. As well, the cover for the griddle has blown off three times and is now dented up.

Not a great start but holding out that it will settle in as a terrific buy.

This Griddle from Blaze it is not good quality. it was installed with the rest of the other blazed grill in a cover patio. So it was out of any rain or sun. After few month of installation and with zero use the griddle got rusted.

The rest of the blaze grill and super burner were fine but this griddle got rusted so easy and without use. I call BBQ guys but noy offer any solution only for me rub of the rust with some liquid. Very unfair for a never use griddle.

DO NOT BUY THIS ONE.

I bought this griddle nearly two years ago and have to say, it really has been disappointing. The only reason I would endorse getting this thing is if you absolutely must have a stainless steel griddle to match every other appliance in your outdoor kitchen.

Otherwise, there are several options which are considerably cheaper and easier to maintain. Some of my main complaints: – the surface really can be quite difficult to clean, and requires a combination of wet paper towels, a griddle scraper, and vigorous scrubbing.

– the grease trap is a large, shallow pan which is unwieldy. – despite being an outdoor griddle, don’t plan on installing the griddle in a place where it is exposed to rain, as the cover does little to nothing to prevent rain water from accumulating in the grease trap, which eventually overflows into whatever enclosure it’s installed.

If I were to do it all over, I’d opt for a much less expensive griddle with a much smaller removable grease trap which doesn’t accumulate rainwater.

We just installed this 2 weeks ago and I must say very happy with our purchase. Premium Home Source had the best pricing available online. Happy we found you! Took a little extra time for delivery since we’re in out in the middle of no where but driver eventually found us.

We finally completed our install of this great griddle in our existing masonry outdoor island and it turned out perfect. I have used it to make the best onion burgers ever. I fry 3 lbs of bacon up at a time and freeze it for later use.

The griddle heats evenly and provides plenty of BTUS. I bought a surface thermometer to use with it and found that it will maintain 350 degrees at a setting of low. I only wish the stainless steel cover was a little heavier weight.

This was an excellent purchase and well worth the money. No substitute for the quality of stainless steel.

First and foremost, I want to thank Robert at thr Choctaw TSC. He was amazing and very helpful. We had a bit of an issue but he took care of us without hesitation. That said, the quality of this griddle is exceptional.

WARNING! This is a heavy griddle. Do not be fooled. Put it somewhere stable and avoid moving without help. At first even after seasoning stuff will stick a bit. But after several uses stuff slides around nicely.

The temperature controls take a bit of finesse but with practice they become second nature. This griddle will last for decades, I have no doubt, with proper maintenance and a good cleaning occasionally.

I bought this flat top in May ‘22. I did a lot of research and decided the CAMP CHEF was the daddy. I am not sorry I chose the Camp Chef as I wanted the option of removing the griddle and using the grill as needed/wanted.

My disappointment is the uneven heat. I show as much as 90+ degrees difference from left to right. Way more than I think acceptable. Can’t have a good sear on the right side and you better find the sweet spot over the burners to cook that perfect smash burger.

When grilling the difference is even more pronounced. I would be challenged to recommend this product if I can’t get it balanced better.

I love my Camp Chef 600. But there are some concerns for those new shoppers. Camp Chef has an EXTREMELY limited accessories list. Everything I have is after market or BLACKSTONE, that is very disappointing.

I’m jealous of my son’s Blackstone scrap and oil remover. Very large and you can purchase foil to line drip tray. Camp Chef has a very small hole for oil scrap to not fit thru. If I had it to do over I would go with Blackstone, CC makes no effort to stock products or make efforts for customer support.

I like my CC 600 but would not recommend it to others. When It dies I will replace with a Blackstone.

I have had my flat top 600 for about a month and have made a variety of great meals. I am really glad I chose this grill. Today, I roasted two pounds of green coffee beans on the flat top. This flat top is perfect for roasting coffee.

I have roasted coffee in cast iron skillets, but this flat top makes it so much easier and you can do a larger batch. If you want to give this a try, find a few articles on roasting coffee to get an understanding of the process.

Then fire up the grill and give it a try. Low heat is plenty hot for this purpose.

I had an old Jenn-Air built in grill that was on its last leg so I started shopping for a replacement. I found the BBQGUYS website and began searching. I was undecided until I saw the sale price of the Blaze 40-inch 5-burner Natural Gas with infrared burner and grill lights.

I was ready to order on-line when my wife noticed the headline that said “call for best pricing”. I told her it was already a sale price and shouldn’t bother. Bottom line, she called. The sales Rep was outstanding, so nice and knowledgeable.

Got the grill, rotisserie kit,infrared searing burner,cover, and extended warranty for less than the original price of the grill alone! Wow! I placed the order figuring with the supply chain issues I would be lucky to get it by spring.

I ordered on Nov 2 2021, received everything by Nov 10 2021! Double Wow! I installed the grill and have used it several times now, it’s a great grill! Great customer service, great product! Highly recommended.

I bought this grill last summer and used it through the summer a portion of the winter and then starting the season. The hotspots are a little inconsistent but certainly can be worked around. Once a year I do a complete teardown cleaning of my grills and so I just completed that.

This grill was absolutely incredible for disassembling and then in a clean. It’s manufactured design seems to be a kit where you basically can disassemble it without any tools clean it all out and each stage the cleaning goes into the grease tray and then at the end you take the tree out and dump its contents.

Incredibly simple to work with. There’s also the adjustment for each burner to adjust the heat for the air intake versus the propane so there was a way to calibrate the four burners. I consider this a win-win for me I would recommend the purchase of this grill.

How I came to selecting this Company and Appliance package is kind of relevant. Our previous Range by a well known manufacturer was considerably more expensive, about the same size and had fancy display.

Great while it lasted. Unfortunately, the microprocessor chip on the controlee panel went bad. Not covered by warranty, replacement board not available, sent off for repair to two different repair facilities both returned unable to acquire the “microprocessor chip”.

To the point now. I do not miss any of the fancy features of previous Ranges, I actually very much appreciate the simplicity of this product. This is by far the best cooking/working Range we have ever had.

Trying to think of an honest negative comment to be objective but drawing a blank, this is a great product.

Delivery as promised and outstanding packaging ensured all components were in excellent condition. As delivery was “lift gate” only, however, unpacking the wooden pallet and moving units to a back patio from the street for assembly was challenging.

In addition, it is recommended to emphasize that the locking nuts on the wheels must be relaxed in order for the levelling feet to be released/unscrewed. This “minor” operation should be performed before assembly.

Overall, a high-end system with excellent features and quality.

I ordered this grill from bbqguys a few months ago. I am really impressed. When the grill arrived, it was packaged thoughtfully and there was no damage. It was easy to unload, and easy to install (assembly/attachment of just a few big island pieces).

We did the propane to natural gas conversion using the manufacturer’s instructions and the youtube video, and it was fairly straightforward even for someone who is not super handy with tools. Be sure to call Mont Alpi directly for the propane conversion kit (hoses, regulator) if you do this.

The grill itself is very well designed and constructed, the materials and finishes are all high quality. It is beautiful. This grill is well worth the money. Both BBQ guys and Mont Alpi had great customer service throughout and answered questions quickly and completely.

The grill took forever to get here, but was definitely worth it! I wanted a built in look, but didn’t want to spend the price. After researching, this was the cheapest modern looking grill unit with a fridge.

I bough this grill over a year ago now. I’ve had time to cook about everything on it. I added the infrared sear burner and it works great on steaks. The only issue is, I can only sear 1 steak at a time so I finish them on the grill after searing.

I also added a smoker box from Blaze. It’s not worth the money. To start, the smoke really discolors the inside and the lights. Since the back of the grill has a 3″ opening, the smoke is lost. The 3″ opening also looses a lot of heat.

The grill is almost impossible to cook chicken on it. Even on the lowest setting the burners are too hot to cook chicken on the grill surface. I use my warming rack, setting it on 2 bricks to raise the chicken off the cooking surface to prevent the chicken from burning.

The rotisserie works good. I used it on a small roast. Again a lot of heat is lost due to the back opening. Cleaning the grill is not fast and takes a little more effort than other grills I’ve used. The ignition system doesn’t always work for the crossover side due to corrosion or food grease.

So the burners need to be removed and the underside of them cleaned to help the crossover lighting. The stainless steel cabinet is flimsy and not very well made for this type of grill. I expected more from the cabinet.

The grill cover is not good quality and rips easily. It is almost too small and hard to take off and on because it fits too tight. For the money this is a nice grill for someone who cooks mostly steaks and burgers.

For chicken and thick cut pork chops, it’s not ideal. It’s just too hot. Would I buy this again? Probably not just due to the fact the grill, even on low gets too hot. I cook almost every dinner on the grill (3-4 times per week).

I’ve made adjustments to how I cook to accommodate different meats. I don’t get many flare ups and I have only found 2 cooking areas that are cooler or have a cool spot.

I don’t normally do reviews; but this Grill merits an exceptional review. Let me start by stating I am just a regular BBQ’er like you if you are reading this; and not a chef, professional reviewer, or have any connection with Blaze, except I have owned on for about 14 years.

I have 40 years of grilling experience, and this grill “takes the ‘steak’ ” (“aka cake” – LOL). In the past, my experience in buying all of the other pot-metal brands, while all were well made, but didn’t last.

Each one needed to be rebuilt internally every year costing about $100. 00 per rebuild (about the cost of the grill), because the parts simply rusted out. That doesn’t happen with this Blaze stainless grill! This is the last grill you will buy! With the incredible warranty, it will pay for itself! Notwithstanding, nothing last’s forever, but Blaze’s warranty will cover any working part that is used – for me, 14 years so far- that eventually wears out over time.

Their outstanding customer service is second to none! Courteous, professional and absolutely knowledgeable in not only their product – but what you will want and need using the Blaze grill. With the Blaze’s heat zone separators, it’s super easy to cook medium-rare & medium or well done steaks at the same time by varying the different heat zones & cooking times, and they are absolutely indispensable when cooking hamburgers preventing flare-ups that burn the burgers! Quick initial heating is always a great timesaver when waiting for a grill to heat up – on my model, I can sear & cook steaks with an amazing 5 minute warm up time! Additionally, it’s incredible all of the burner ignitors still function after 14 years.

At the end of the day, the Blaze Grill has proven to be simply the best all-around grill with unparalleled attention to detail and impressively thoughtful quality at a great price, personally experienced for 14 years by me.

The grill arrived with the cart unassembled. The Grill itself in mostly assembled, packaged extremely well. It does take two people to attach the grill to the stand. It’s pretty heavy. The removal of the burner and installing of the infrared burned is a breeze.

There were no instructions where and how to mount the electrical box for the lights. The drip pan, I expected to be a heavier gauge stainless steel. The edges of the drip pan are sharp and not rolled.

So watch your fingers! The Grill heats up fast, sears meat fast and cooks pretty evenly. I have found a few spots the are cooler when I grilled chicken wings. My concern is there is a gap in the rear, between the lid and the back of the grill.

This gap will allow heat to escape so the temperature gauge will not reflect the actual inside temperature and it will not retain heat. It would be like leaving your over door open while it is on. The quality seem to be very good and it does cook to my liking so far.

Now its a test of time. This grill replaced my Broil Master Grill I have for 19 years. I hope to get many years out if this one.

Bought this as a gift for my husband for his birthday! He LOVES it! He’s been grilling every day for 2 weeks straight. We’re excited to take the top section of the grill out camping this fall!

This is a nice, solidly built grill. I purchased the lighted option which provides nice lights on the grill itself but the knobs only have a blue glow behind the solid knob. The settings on the front of the knobs can’t be read in dim light so I still need a flashlight.

Poor Design! Also, I tried to grill yesterday when it was cold and windy. The grill is mounted in a counter and protrudes about 2 inches. There is no cover on the bottom of this protrusion so the wind whips up into the grill and it won’t get any hotter than 150 degrees.

I’ve never had this problem with any grill before – not even cheap ones. So disappointing.

I’ve had this grill for four years and have never liked it. It looks nice sitting there, but that’s it. It has just terrible heat control, the burner knobs are cheap/they stick/won’t lock in to the ignite position and have very little flame/heat control.

Now there is something wrong with the electrical system as it’s tripping GFI outlets. Just keep looking for something else. anything.

I had a custom island built about 10 years ago to fit a charcoal grill I bought when building out my landscaping. It finally needed to be replaced and while I have only ever used charcoal, I went with gas for my new one.

I did a lot of research for one that would fit my cutout dimensions. Who knew there wasn’t a standard size!!?! I am very glad I found this AOG grill. It looks great, comes with a great warranty and reputation, and is made in the USA! I’ve used it a few times from smaller meals to larger parties, and even grilled a pizza on it.

It gets very hot, very fast, and lights up without fail. I have found some inconsistencies with heat, but as I use it more and more, I am getting used to this. It’s not bad, but it is something to pay attention to.

The lid, despite the dual layers, still gets very hot. I don’t recommend touching it. The warming rack is kind of annoying. I don’t use it that often, and it sticks out just far enough to be in the way when trying to reach food on the back of the grill.

It’s a little tricky to remove, and if it’s already hot, don’t bother. I would just take it off permanently if you don’t need it. Overall, great grill with a couple of minor things, but I definitely recommend it.

(I didn’t opt for any extras like the infrared or rotisserie. Had them before and never used them.

TEC invented infra-grilling. Hands down the best grills on the planet. For those complaining about the glass panels breaking; The glass panels must be kept clean of the accumulation of burnt matter. Went the glass isn’t kept clean the build up of “stuff” doesn’t let the glass radiate heat at the proper rate.

If the glass can’t radiate its heat it will get too hot and crack. So basically just keep the glass clean and this isn’t an issue. Before you start your cook, just clean the glass with soap and water.

Yes, its maintenance but like anything else taking the time to do something right pays off.

We cook everything from the best steak you will ever have to a great pizza. We never had an infrared grill, and we were concerned about the price for this built in model, but we had heard good things.

We are so glad we did this. It is super easy to maintain, with the self cleaning feature. Over a year, we pulled off the glass to check the burners and they look brand new. Starts every time without hesitation.

Two complaints, the front knob kind of rubs the front, it is not a problem, just would like smoother motion. Wish it had a temperature gauge on the outside.

I have had this grill now since May of 2018 and have purchased other accessories that TEC offers through the year. This Grill can almost do it all. It takes some time to get accustomed to with this IR technology with the glass tops but it is quite versatile.

It cleans very easily if you turn the burners on high for 10 to 12 minutes and close the lid after you are done grilling. Turn it off and the next day scrape with wire brush, small hand held vacuum or shop vac like Milwaukee picks it right up.

Stainless edge under lid will get some grease spots but cleans up easy with very fine grit scotch pad with stainless cleaner solution. Only use scotch pad on burn box. Now to the grilling. You can grill burgers very quick on this grill.

If you preheat the grill for 10 to 15 minutes you can sear steaks with crosshatching very well. Depending on thickness of the steak and your liking will decide the time it will be in direct contact with the stainless grates.

I like to sear them on high about 4 minutes each side and place them on the pizza rack TEC offers for another 5 to 10 minutes with other burner on low. Pizza is very good. Not as good as my BIG GREEN EGG but still impressed.

French frys and hot wings are kick *** with the deep fryer attachment. If you like to cook slow, get the gator rack accessory. Can’t go wrong. You can grill slow with out it but you want to make sure the juices are being vaporized on the glass.

If you have the burner turned down too low the juices can accumulate and seep down into the burner box. This is where I believe the grill is a little hard to get use to at first. But if you love to Grill, you will figure it out.

It smokes Ribs pretty identical to my Barrel I have. Foil foods like mushrooms, corn, potatoes ect. does an amazing job. Cooks poppers quick. I bought this grill to speed up the process when I get home from work instead of the green egg and it does just that.

I Recommend it for people who grill all the time. I am very happy with it.

I installed this grill 1. 5 years ago and have had nominal issues, despite it being placed at a vacation rental home (i. e. , it isn’t always treated as if it were my own, and receives infrequent maintenance since the house is booked >300 nights/year).

Very heavy/sturdy, and thus far no exterior corrosion despite being across the street from the beach, which was one of my primary concerns. I did upgrade to the ceramic tamers to minimize flare ups/distribute heat more evenly, as well as greater resistance to corrosion vs.

the traditional stainless tamer – money well spent and recommended. The lone disadvantage is the flame isn’t readily visible with the ceramic tamers and it’s slightly more challenging to access and light the burners with a stick lighter when the igniter fails.

This is irrelevant if the grill is at your home, only a potential issue if you have different guests each week and you’re 350 miles away from the property, as I am. And I can’t say enough about BBQGuys.

I’ve purchased over $10,000 in grill from these guys and they’re awesome. They know their stuff and they know customer service, which increasingly is a rarity.

The grill itself is great. Great food. Easy to control heat. Love the charcoal tray. I also like the porceline flame tamers. The light doesnt work at all. Its not even worth trying. It is very hard to get the flame started with the auto starter.

You need to use a long flamestarter to get the fire going which is a pain. Main complaint is RUST! Dry winter here in california. I always have it covered when it rains and the only time I dont have it covered is when its in use or when cooling down.

Unfortunately after 9 months the lid of the grill is already showing significant signs of rust. This is built from low quality SS.

I recently purchased a Lion L90000 built in LP grill. The unit sat in the box in my garage while I was building my outdoor kitchen approximately two weeks before I installed it. While installing I found a couple of the burner valves were leaking and one of the interior lights wouldn’t come on.

I reached out to Lion directly and they handled the call very well and sent out two new valves. They talked me through the removal and showed me the link to change the valves myself. I disassembled the front face control panel of the grill to expose the valve and main gas header line, I checked the other valves and found the rotisserie valve was also leaking at the valve body.

The replacement valves came in, these were replaced and tested. This time the valves would not seat in a closed position to shut off the gas. The handles had to be giggled to get the valve to close. I again called Lion to explain the problem, we talked through is issues, I videoed and had them on the phone to let them hear the gas leaking noises.

They are now sending me a complete header assembly with all new valves. My neighbor has the same grill and hasn’t had any problems. I love his grill, his is the reason I bought this brand over a couple other choices.

I want to love my grill too, I just haven’t got there yet.

The grill comes with foldable side trays and a cover. With the trays attached, the cover will not cover the grill and collapsed trays. The cover apparently is intended to only cover the grill itself.

The company recommends that the grill be covered when not in use. That is impossible. One would think this problem would have been noticed and remedied long ago. Had to order, at my expense, a cover, from BBQGuys in fact, that will hopefully fit.

I love the compactness of this grill. Its perfect for 2-4 people. Great searing heat. My only complaints were, it was missing some of the screws for the anchoring of the base as well as the package was somewhat beat up, thus the grill was bent and dented in several places.

This looks like a great grill and as I was doing research noticed that it’s very similar to another brand called Kenyon, this one was cheaper so I bought it. It smokes like crazy (can’t use it inside) and makes a mess to clean up and doesn’t get as hot as it should.

The grate is dishwasher safe which is nice and it does look cool being stainless steel but I think I would go back and spend the extra money next time.

This was the final piece we added to the outdoor kitchen set. Every single piece has been fantastic and has held up well to our constant use. It attached to the rest of the kitchen easily and is very handy to have next to the grill.

But, I was a bit disappointed that there were several scratches on the top chrome piece. Overall we love this entire kitchen.

The griddle works good with the huge exception that flat top griddle itself is stainless steel. This causes most food to stick. A stainless steel surface cannot be seasoned successfully. The only food that will not stick are items with high moisture, such as stir fried veg.

Eggs, forget it. Bacon also sticks. Griddle should be cast iron.

Fairly happy with the unit except for the fact the the dial/knob light never worked for the 3 months that I’ve owned it. I’ve only used the griddle 3 – 4 times in 3 months.

looks great but had issues with the back burner not working and igniting. seems to have very little heat generation and it is not the gas feed. my $500 bbq is a better grill in my opinion

What an amazing BBQ. Easy to setup and works amazing. Hosted a big dinner the first night we had it.

I have owed this product for over 2 years and I have to say that it gets a bad wrap. Negative reviews are not fair because this grill is 1/2 the price (or less) than that of its competitors. At my previous house I owned one of its competitors and you run into the same issues with all grills.

If you use it a lot, general maintenance will be required, ie. deep cleaning, parts replacement, etc. The good news is that the replacement parts for this grill are reasonably priced. When I needed to replace a searing burner on a competitor, it was over $200 for just the burner.

For this grill, I just did an overhaul and it cost me about $180 for new grates, new burner covers and a new searing burner. The installation of the replacement parts was simple. The exterior of the grill still looks brand new because I wipe it down with a stainless cleaner 1-2 times a month and I clean it with Bar Keepers stainless cleaner every 6-8 months to remove discolorations, water marks, etc.

At this rate, if I do an overhaul every 2 years, you still spend less on this grill after 10-15 years than the competitors. Buying a grill is like buying a car, you need to look at the performance and compare it to the price.

This grill is like a Lincoln or Cadillac, it gives you some premium features and looks luxurious and the maintenance won’t kill you. You can spend $2000-$5000 on a grill, and the quality may be better, however, the maintenance will be expensive and it will still be necessary.

In regard to the grilling, the searing burner cooks delicious steaks and the grill is large enough to cook at least 10-12 burgers at a time. The ignitors are still functioning great and the burners produce an even heat.

I have never used the rotisserie. I wish you could add a second searing burner because it its pretty small and you can only fit 2-3 steaks on it at a time, however, the ignitors are different and there is a resting plate on the rear side of the fire box to support the weight of the searing burner.

Really happy with this grill. I converted it to natural gas with the included kit and it has a nice range of temperatures. I slow cooked some chicken thighs at the lowest setting on the main burners the other day which turned out excellent.

It held a steady 200-250 degrees. And it will get plenty hot to sear a steak as well, especially on the infrared searing burner. Plenty of space and temp range to cook a lot of food at once for a crowd.

Bought this grill because we had purchased all Kitchen Aid for the inside. dishwasher, cook top, frig, oven-micro combo, and that it was cheaper than other grills. Big mistake! The sear burner has melted after a couple years and the bbqing grates are now falling apart as they cannot take the heat.

So, I guess it time to purchase a REAL grill that costs 3 times what this one did. Guess you get what you pay for?.
