This product worked exactly as advertised. A little goes a long way. I used it to seal the grout between the new countertop and existing tile backsplash. If you use too much it looks like there’s a bunch of Vaseline so use sparingly.

Just enough to put a sheer layer is enough for waterproofing. A couple of notes: You will see a bunch of reviews saying the container exploded on them. This is most likely because they didn’t break the seal.

You need to poke a hole in the seal in addition to cutting the tip off. Also, the product smells very strongly of vinegar. I don’t mind it. In fact I prefer it to the chemical odor of other sealants.

All in all I was very happy with this product.

I allowed this to cure for over 48 hours and it seemed dry and set. But the first time it got damp it turned to sticky jelly! I noticed there was no use by date on it which concerned me. But after using it it seemed to set well.

It never occurred to me that it wouldn’t hold up to dampness. And it was a brief period of dampness. This is the third Gorilla product I’ve bought from DiscoverMyStore, and all three have been unsatisfactory.

I’ve learned my lesson.

Item was very messy because tubing is not sturdy. The base of the tube kept popping off and the silicon was very hard to get to come from the top of the tube. Had to throw the entire tube away because the base kept sliding off and couldn’t stop the product from seeping from the top.

Really messed up my project. Not the seller’s fault at all. Just not good packaging for the product.

I have used the 5. 5 oz tube actually ordering my 6th tube now. Apparently after 15 years a neighbor appears to now be breeding these cockroaches. I’m filling every single crack in all of my cabinets, baseboards, light fixtures, etc soooo many cracks tooooo many cockroaches.

Anyways, it is super effective & I prefer the ability to use my hand to apply it. It allows for better control especially in tight spaces. Do you make an expanding foam for spaces too large for caulking?.

Theres lots of caulk out there so you gotta tread carefully. Some caulk can mislead you. Let’s just call it a caulk jungle. Alex Plus is not perfect for all situations but it is ideal for trim and moulding.

It’s probably the easiest to apply. Super smooth is one word. But, I would not use it in a bathroom as it is not perfectly waterproof. I’ve seen it go hard and then soft again. Even a year later. What’s up with that.

And it has extra protection against mold. Those are too things you just don’t want: Hard/soft nonsense and you seriously don’t want moldy caulk. But the one thing above all it just smells dang good. It’s weird.

Better than all others. I will and have recommended Alex Plus to my friends.

Tried this product many times. Utter garbage. Doesn’t set hard. And when it does, it sets in white, not clear as advertised. Seems to be a known/recurring problem. Home Depot should listen to its customers and resolve this with the manufacturer, who seem to be making excuses that their product had no defects – nonsense! After scraping it all off, i tried MONO Silicone instead, worked perfectly first time; although it is pricey, but at least it did the job perfectly.

I only wish Home Depot would restock the GE Silicone brand which when i previously used it worked well, and cost less than the MONO brand. HD, please do something about this!.

Used on new construction interior doors, windows and trim. First tube worked well with dripless caulk gun. Every tube after that would not stop flowing after two different dripless caulk guns, and releasing the pressure.

7 out of 8 tubes performed that way. Spent more time cleaning the gun, floor and application area. Very disappointed.

This stuff works great so far. I comes out smooth and is a bit more tacky than regular caulking. I used it to seal a leak in my eavestrough and a gap on the shed floor. There was water pooling under my shed and it would come up through the gap.

I was worried this stuff wouldn’t cure properly over a wet gap but it wasn’t a problem. We’ll see if it stands the test of time.

I used this product on a window project for my home and was very impressed with the nice looking/ professional outcome. It goes on easily and wipes to a clean finish. After drying it’s sealed completely and holds up strong.

The tip let’s me have easy application. The instructions were also very easy to follow. I’m very impressed over all.

Cheaper options are available but you get what you pay for when it comes to caulking. I use this primarily indoors so I cannot offer much on how it performs on exteriors. This product is amazing when it comes to making your painting projects shine.

I use it on all trim joints. This eliminates the small shadows that even the smallest gaps cast. This is especially true when it comes to the quarter-round joints on floating floors. Super easy to use and cleans up easily with water.

Haven’t used it yet, but have used same product, different color and that is the only caulking to use if you have a log home and want caulking not to separate from log to log with the temp. changes. It’s expensive, but I am not using anything else.

The caulking you buy in the store is not worth the labor to put on. Tried it and after one year it already separated from the wood.

We have log accents in and outside of our home. After years, the logs are splitting and this product was recommended to use. It is wonderful to fill up the cracks (using backer rods/foam in the larger areas), and it looks like a typical “wood tone” that will either match or have a typical wood variation of color for contrast.

Highly recommend it.

Good caulk. I have lots of gaps and holes in my stucco, especially on a parapet where the stucco meets some flashing up on the flat roof. The tubes are not sealed, so it may not last as long as other caulks if you have some left over, but it saves me from having to pull out the pin on the caulk-gun and poke each tube.

I always forget that and put the tube in and then have to take it back out and poke it and put it back in. Seems to set up nice and sticks to the stucco and the flashing.

It works good but can’t be used with a caulk gun. Its to old to push out. At least for me.

This product worked wonderfully on our log home. The house sat untreated for several years. It looks absolutely wonderful. The color could have been a little darker in my opinion, but still very happy with the overall job,.

Conceal played a major role in the construction of my custom built log home. Used between logs inside and out conceal proved to be easy to work with, extremely durable, flexible and beautiful. Conceal is an excellent product I highly recommend.

We used this to fill wide gapes between rough cut interior walls in our rustic home. Applied easily and looks fantastic.

It cures to a rubbery and stretchy consistency, useful for all types of sealing purposes. Doesn’t crack the way acrylic sealants tend to do over time. The tube is not resealable after opening as it has no cap, so you have to make provisions to seal it yourself or just use the tube up in one shot.

Pricing at HF is good compared to other local sellers.

This stuff is great for gluing unlike materials together. Like aluminum expands and contracts a lot with a change in temperature changes , So say you made a bird feeder and plan to attach it on a window, using an aluminum frame.

Then using a thickness of about a half inch will allow the flexibility of the silicone to weather both hot & cold. Using a step latter or something else to hold the bird feeder or what ever in place, Then mark the gluing area with tape.

Then move the bird feeder and apply a generous amount o f silicone to the glass and also the feeder. Then when it is about 40° F then glue the previously glued areas together. Then you have bird feeder/feeders right in plain sight for years to come.

If you get tired of it, a razor scrapper will remove it cleanly.

This is a great product. It’s workable for several minutes and the work surface can be easily cleaned with dry paper towels before it begins to skim, which is a great quality where neat joints matter.

It’s slightly runny but not so much so that it will drip down and out of a vertical gap/joint. Use disposable gloves because it is a bit messy.

Whether in the kitchen or in the bathroom, my wife was growing tired of white caulk. Then she tried BLACK caulk. She thinks it is the greatest!!!

I followed the manufacturer instructions, but the product did not adhere two pieces of vinyl siding as expected. I would not recommend this product.

This is by far my favorite go to product as a professional. Unlike Bill, that left a bad comment with a bad experience or expectation, I use it almost daily, and find that it has more far reaching uses that aren’t on the label.

Gutter repair, waterproofing plywood shelf in a shower in place of redgard by tooling, tent repair by tooling a patch with a taping knife, I experiment with it’s capabilities, and hasn’t failed me yet.

My only warning is use in a ventilated area, Silane can be dangerous to inhale when you use the whole tube at once in an enclosed area. In the spot, I used quite a bit emergency repairing a crack inside the tank of a toilet, and had to open the window for a while.

Just like anything, be smart. This stuff is incredible! It’s a sealant, adhesive, a rubber, waterproofer, and adheres to practically everything.

Quad Max Clear, 10 oz worked wonders on my old windows my home is very old, my windows are about 50 to 80 years olds and the sealant was very cracked and even by a touch it would fall off, I thought about replacing but at this time it would be very costly so I deciding to repair these older windows and repaint.

I used this quad max around the crevices and and to hold window pane in place it worked great! It was not as messy as other products I have used and window look and feel so mich better less air breezing through window when it is cold outside and when it rains it protects from water seeping in.

It dried by the next day and was very easy to paint over now I have to purchase more to finish about 16 more windows it will be lengthy process but it looks mich better and is worth it. I was able to use 1 tube on one window and a half.

I would recommend this product to others smooths out easily, less messy dry and is easy to paint over, also protects great against rain and cold weather.

As I checked the caulking around my windows, I noticed some needed to be redone. After looking at the options, I went with this. Good choice. The caulking goes on easily and smoothly. The clearness remains even after drying.

I have had some that turned murky as soon as they dried. Later that evening, we got hit with a major rain storm that came in early. I feared some water would leak through. After the storm, I checked and could not see any indications of water seepage.

This stuff is great. Highly recommend this for windows and other projects.

I used the GE All Weather Pro outside under a section of siding and around a few windows. It easily goes into a caulk gun, just snip the tip off at a 35-45° degree angle making the application easiest.

It’s mold resistant and 100% waterproof which is great. It quickly dried within an hour as it states on packaging. I didn’t have to paint over the sealant but if I did it was completely dry for me to paint.

I had no issues applying it under a section of the siding then on to and around some windows. I accidentally had some excess come out while applying around a window, following the directions I used a damp rag and gently wiped the area, it easily came right off.

It’s working great it hasn’t rained for me to give accurate results for around the windows but as far as under the siding above the foundation this has a straight precise clean line I’m proud to say the sealant sealed in the cracks.

I do have a few more areas in my house to seal and I definitely intend on purchasing a few more tubes of this sealant. I received the GE All Weather Pro sealant free in exchange for a review of my honest opinion, this is my honest opinion.

This product I believe will be a good investment, with some notable warnings. If your gap is small and not very deep, this applies and works great. But if your seem is wide and especially if your seem is deep, this product will settle into the gap and you will still have a gap to come back to that needs refilling.

If you have open ended seems you need to put a “stop” ( masking tape ) on the end of the seem to keep it from flowing out the end. If you overfill your seem, and it doesn’t settle below the seem top, and you decide to trim it down to the top of, or below top of seem, it trims well but expect it to have “bubble” holes in the area that you trim.

I like the self leveling , no tooling, aspect. It is a bit expensive if you have a large area to cover because of the self leveling aspect, you will use more of this product compared to products you have to tool after application.

It states “paintable in one hour” that is not practical, unless you are spray painting. This product will take overnight drying before brush painting is practical.
