Love this door mat! This is a very nice and very heavy duty mat. It is rubber-backed which is great so no worry about it slipping or the top straw getting wet from the bottom. It is a very good size and is perfect for wiping your feet at the front door.

We are tough on door mats. But then, that’s what they are for. The fiber or bristles are sturdy. And do a good job of collecting the stuff on the bottom of the footwear you definitely DON’T want in your house.

The build or construction is good. And the mat should last a long time. And it’s big. Big enough of completely cover or front a normal door opening. And it doesn’t seem to wander. I haven’t had to chase this door mat down yet.

Really impressed with the quality of this doormat. This is much heavier than the typical mat we purchase. It lays flat and stays put. Very sturdy hobnail surface to catch dirt. Doubt we will need to replace this anytime soon.

These mats are quite attractive, especially the color is just right for my porch and front door. My porch is covered, so the rugs do not get direct weather. The mats are rather thin–not like some of the very thick mats one can buy.

I bought this runner to put in the doorway of my in home beauty salon quite a while ago and I am writing this review because not many runners I have used there have held up as nicely as this one has.

Looks brand new and all I do is vacuum as needed. Very tough runner. I purchased the burgundy color and it compliments my decor nicely. I also purchased the stair treads because I have 16 steps going from downstairs to upstairs and they are also holding up beautifully.

I’ve had two of these mats for outdoor use since March 2021, and love everything about them except they take forever (as in, days) to dry out after they get wet. Our home is shaded, so dry and sunny spots are hard to find.

One of them actually started to grow moss. I’m sure it will clean up OK but I won’t be getting these again.

The rug had a 2 inch slice on the front edge. The rug fits the space in front of my double doors perfectly. The quality, besides the damaged edge is ok. It’s too cumbersome to try to pack up and return.

I’m disappointed that a damaged rug was sent out.

I looked high and low for a coco doormat with an elegant design to put in front of my double entryway doors and found this one on Houzz. It exceeded my expectations. The mat is 3′ x 6′, wide and long enough for the area in front of my door and under my portico.

The thickness is quite adequate, the coco weave is thick and tight, the print appears clean, the design is beautiful for my house, and the price was very reasonable.

It was beautiful when it arrived…and until it got wet the first time (is in a covered area). It turned so dark you could not even read the lettering on the mat. Unless you have a watertight area where rain cannot even blow in, don’t waste your money!!!.

The mat came exactly as advertised, it’s a beautiful rich colour with a pure black. Great density and the non-slip is also fantastic. I’m more than satisfied as it provides a quaint personal touch.

It’s fine. It doesn’t look that nice – more industrial, but it’s very functional. I also don’t think that the green in person is as vibrant as the image online. Maybe a “forest at night green. ” I’ll definitely use it as it will absolutely serve it’s purpose.

This is an attractive mat built with heavy duty rubber beneath a tight-knit carpet material. It weighs a good 7 pounds, with dimensions of 3 feet wide by 4 feet long. It’s at least half an inch thick with a solid rubber border all around.

This mat is beautiful; well made and luxurious-looking. It is not quite 4×6 (short 2 inches on the narrow end), but is heavy-duty — also heavy in weight, which is good because it stays put. I received it sooner than promised and it came rolled (not folded as other rugs).

The pattern is interesting. I’m very happy with my mat and with Hayneedle; their Customer Care is unequal. See attached photo.

We recently purchased our first home and I wanted a door mat that would enhance and beautify rather the cheapen our entrance. I also wanted a generously-sized, weatherproof, heavy, and durable mat that would last many years.

The lattice rubber door mat is all of these things. Of course, I can’t tell you yet if the mat will last for years and years, but I’ve purchased lighter, thinner, less attractive, less expensive mats in the past that have lasted years, so I have high expectations for this one.

The lattice mat looks expensive, feels nice underfoot, and makes our entrance look complete. I’m considering also purchasing the smallest lattice mat for our side entrance. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a door mat the size of this mat I purchased which was 30″ x 48. ” This is not a real common size, most mats being 24″ or 36″ wide, too narrow and too wide respectively for me. After quite a few hours searching for a mat that I thought would look nice on my stoop I had ordered and returned several other door mats that disappointed.

When I ordered this mat I was very concerned that the black, thick rubber would make this mat look industrial but it does not. It looks very classy and every time I look out my front door and see it I smile.

The “quatrefoil pattern” makes all the difference from a standard link pattern. It was great purchase for my house.

This mat was really disappointing. The quality was not great. Several years ago I purchased a similar looking rubber mat from a different website at a fraction of the cost, and although the rubber was not as heavy, the design work and quality was actually much better.

This mat arrived with partial cracking, and there was some white residue. The patterned rubber was not cut well and had bumps and lumps. Sadly, really would not recommend this item.

I’ve owned several waterhog mats for a number of years now, and my short overall review is that they are excellent and worth the money, if you are okay with massive variations in color. PROS: These mats are sturdy.

My old ones look almost as good as my new ones despite harsh Midwest winters and everyone tracking in lots of snow, salt, mud, and so on. Through the years and washings, the most wear they really show is some minor fading and maybe the slightest hint of some very minor fuzz.

Depending on the season, I use a sturdy brush and the garden hose OR a small handheld carpet shampooer to clean these mats. Both methods work well and they are surprisingly easy to clean (dirt lifts without much effort).

One of my oldest mats is currently in use outdoors, and though I didn’t expect much, it has held up for several years out there. CONS: Dye lots. The dye lots vary to such a significant degree that the color may be exactly what you think you’re ordering, or nothing even close to it.

I’ve ordered mats to match several years apart and had them look almost as if they’d been ordered together. I’ve also ordered mats where the color was so different from the description that I thought I had been sent the wrong ones by mistake.

If this isn’t a deal breaker for you, these are absolutely the best mats money can buy, no question about it. If exact colors are important to you (decor matching, matching a previous purchase), consistency of color is not a strength.

Overall, you’re probably not going to find a sturdier mat of better quality than the waterhog, especially with so many design and color options. Without question, they are worth the money and they function exceptionally well and hold up to the test of time.

I highly recommend these mats. Just beware that dye lots vary, sometimes significantly, hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. If you’re looking to match multiple mats, your best bet is to buy them at the same time.

Great absorption of snow and wet that saves our floors; no residual puddling or dampness underneath. The medium size provides moderate coverage that still shows off our stone tile flooring, lays completely flat (no interference with door function), heavy enough to stay put, provides just the right texture for effectively wiping feet, and easily handles our front entry traffic, both human and canine! The rug dries in a flash, hides dirt and needs very little vacuuming.

Durable material and the burgundy color is a handsome match with our mahogany toned door that is rich yet understated. Have purchased these mats before and they last for years. Reasonably priced and worth every penny.

I bought this doormat for use on our back stoop. At that time, the description in the catalog said that it may be the last doormat you will every need to buy. I was intrigued, but a little skeptical.

That had to have been ten to twelve years ago. It has held up so well! It has not worn out after years of being outdoor year around. Through the tough snow and ice of Wisconsin winters, and having snowmelt thrown down on it.

Through the blazing sun and heat of being on a south facing cement stoop. It has not worn out at all. It still sits firm and does not slip around. It traps sand, grit, mud, grass clippings, whatever we may track up the steps to where it sits.

It may have faded a bit, but it still does the job it was made to do! Great product and a great buy!.
