20 Best Outdoor Patio Swivel Chairs (2022 Updated)

Buyer beware of this company. You only get a refund when the item arrives. I bought 2 sets of these, both sets had the same arms. Shipped them back, both made it to Georgia, but only one made it back to the seller.

The other one has been shipped back to my area-so, no refund on that one in 3 months.

Nice set of chairs. They swivel and tilt. Cushions have zipper if we ever need to replace. However, days after we assembled them, a thunderstorm storm came through and surprisingly knocked over all our chairs onto cement and scratched them (we got 3 sets).

Now I’m looking for outdoor rugs or sandbags? Wish they would have included a little bottle of touch up paint now.

Bought six Phi Villa swivel rockers. They arrived in great shape. Well boxed and packed. No damage. Took me a tad longer than 15 min. But not difficult to do. 4 bolts washers and nut per chair. Did not get 4 of them when expected.

Got 2 earllier than expected. Chairs are comfortable and sturdy. Nice looking also. Made out of cast aluminum not sone chesp metal that would rust in a year or two. Had some difficulty contact them but they did respond.

They were a good price also.

The chairs are nice and seem to be good quality, but although the reviews stated easy to assemble, we did not find that so. It took 2 people to hold parts together while fastening bolts. It comes with tools, but we needed far better tools to actually tighten bolts and get them to align.

There is no way only one person could align and bolt in the top piece without someone holding it up due to the weight of that piece, so whomever claimed they could do this alone must have been a magician.

Nice once together, but better be prepared to do this with someone else during assembly.

I bought bar height table and chair patio set and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of this furniture. It was easy to out together although a bit frustrating at times because I wasn’t able to make a full rotation when inserting the screws.

The instructions were all photos, but I thought it was all very easy to understand. Putting the table together was a piece of cake. It took about 40 minutes to put together. The chairs were a bit more of a challenge.

They took about an hour each and I had four of them. I did it though all by myself! I suggest starting from the bottom when putting the chairs together. Of course, number one took well over an hour but by number 4 I think I finished that one in under an hour.

We got these to go with a little table we already had. My husband had them assembled in no time as all parts were there. They’re very comfortable & the rocking & swivel option was just what we were looking for.

Very pleased with our purchase. Arrived in a very timely manner. Would buy again.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with these chairs, but they’re better than I was expecting. One of six I purchased had a small welding error but I simply put that chair on the less-seen side of the table and don’t have to worry about it.

If I had paid full price I would have possibly bothered with a return, but it really isn’t so bad that I will complain when I got them on clearance. The only thing I could possibly complain about is that I really wish that the back pillows had some way to strap on like the bottom cushions do, but I’m not going to take a point off for that since I knew they were just pillows from the pictures.

The fabric also seems surprisingly stain resistant, as mud from my toddler easily wiped off with just a damp washcloth and no effort at all, which was a pleasant surprise!.

The patio chairs arrived today (2 days after placing the order) – Walmart delivery is superseding Amazon Prime (and there’s no exorbitant membership fee to boot). As mentioned in one other review, the cushion color is not beige, but greige (a modern grey beige combo) and it’s beautiful.

It took under an hour for hubby to unpack and put all 4 together. Well constructed and we are beyond satisfied. p/s You can’t beat the sale price! P/s 1* for the delivery persons though – they left the 2 boxes on our driveway (instead of the porch).

The seat actually looks and feels ok, but the dimensions are way off. It is at most 19×19, and because of the curved back, when you sit on it, its usable depth is only 17. 5. It sits very close to the ground.

I keep feeling like I am falling off. If you are bigger than a kitten you wont fit on this chair. Mine is going back. What a waste of time.

I am very pleased with the quality of these “Crest chairs”. Very comfortable and love the swivel. I went with “Mist ink” which is a very rich color of a blue greyish tone that blends well with many colors.

The material appears very durable. The chairs take up a small footprint and make the room appear more spacious. The” Crest chairs”, “Series rug” and “Yates pillows” have taken an entry way of an atrium to a usable sunroom space.

One item that I didn’t buy but will go back and purchase is the “Flet ottoman” because I think it would make my area even more usable. This ottoman would be perfect as a footrest, drink surface or as another seat.

I would highly recommend going to a Room and Board showroom. The San Francisco showroom was invaluable for picking out my furniture. There is nothing like sitting on the furniture before buying it. I ended up going with a completely different color scheme, material and style direction then I had planned.

I brought with me photos of my space, paint sample and tile on the showroom visit. The sales associate was terrific, very knowledge of the products, and helped me put all the elements together – pillows, rug and an odd piece of pre-owed furniture that I wanted to keep in the design space.

It was well worth the trip.

First – we saw this chair and knew it would be the perfect pieces for our patio. We ordered two and they looked great. But after the delivery team left, we noticed one of the chairs didn’t swivel properly – it would catch.

R&B offered great support over the phone and we had the chair exchanged out in a few days. The new one showed up and it grinded when you tried to swivel it. I was disappointed because there was a note saying to make sure it swiveled smoothly.

They left me with the defective original one, which was better than the replacement. I’m hoping the next one is quality checked before delivery. It’s frustrating to pay a lot of money and not have it right the first or second time.

I needed two small compact chairs for my living room to replace the two swivel gliders that were too big for the space. I saw these at Room and Board several years ago right after I purchased the larger chairs and I was bummed I hadn’t found them before this purchase.

So I lived with the oversized chairs until I just couldn’t stand it anymore and felt I got my money’s worth out of them, lol, to justify replacing them. When I checked Room and Board to see if they still carried this chair, I was dismayed that it seemed they had discontinued it.

However on a whim I checked their outdoor furniture and lo and behold there it was or at least it seemed like it was the exact chair. I was concerned that the fabrics were for outdoor use and wouldn’t look good on indoors, so I decided to order swatches so I could see the textures.

I was able to find a fabric that I felt would work well with my decor and not seem like it belonged on a patio and I am over the moon that they look fantastic in my living room. They don’t look like patio furniture at all and are very well made.

They are great in that they fit well in the space and the swivel in place keeps them from banging into the accent table between them unlike the gliders I previously had in the space. This chair is perfect if you need a small space chair.

I recently bought the Beachcroft outdoor sofa and swivel rockers. Less than a year later, both swivel rockers were broken. The weld underneath completely broken. When I called to ask about a replacement (since still under warranty), I was told I would have to pay $299 shipping to have new ones sent.

WHAT??? So I paid the ridiculous shipping for the replacements (NO REFUND OFFERED). 3 months later, the replacements are now broken. Same weld issue on both. THESE PRODUCTS ARE DEFECTIVE. DO NOT BUY!!.

We’ve had this furniture on our covered patio for 2 years, and the bases of the chairs have given up their welds. The chairs are barely used, except for the occasional gathering and both chairs need the bases replaced.

AFW only warrantees the product for 1 year and then you’re on your own. They will fix but for $50 for the parts and 2 hours of labor at $45 an hour. These chairs are beautiful, but ultimately very cheaply made and will not last for long even when covered and taken care of.

Our chair was a little lopsided. Found out that the screws were not on tight when white glove service delivered and assembled it. Unfortunately that didn’t fix the issue. Also if you are average to heavy the back will hit the floor so you can’t really rock on it which really was disappointing.

We were also missing hardware for another chair and didn’t get it till about 2 months later so couldnt enjoy the whole set. Ended up buying our own hardware.

I ordered this chair and got it put together to the last screw. It was misaligned – the part in the back that it was to screw into was inserted at a 45-degree angle to the back instead of a 90-degree angle.

I called the number that came in the instructions and emailed a very helpful person, who arranged for a replacement back to be sent to me. That went smoothly, it when I opened the box, the colour of the replacement back was a light grey instead of dark brown.

So I gave up and returned it, and the matching ottoman to the store and I’ll start again with something else. The return process was very easy. So good service, but bad picking of a replacement part.

Excellent design. Excellent instructions. Excellent product. Once again Home Depot and Hampton Products have come through again. My wife and I following the instructions one page at a time assembled all the bolts, washers, nuts, and individual pieces completing the unit over four days.

We were very surprised that we could accomplish such a involved undertaking. Looking forward to many years of why we purchased the product, to block out the hot afternoon sun and a curtain to keep those pesky bugs away so now we can eat outside.

Love them. Solid chairs, seem to be well constructed. Cushion included was a bonus but a back cushion (standard size) makes them even more comfortable for long sits. Stack well and after one season appear to be weathering well.

Not too deep in the sitting area (my complaint with most patio furniture).

My first kudos go to the fact that these shipped for free in a “value class” of shipping, and the site said that I would receive them as early as April 28, two weeks from the time of ordered, but when I got home the next day after ordering them, I checked for a tracking number, and when I tracked it, it said that they had already been delivered onto my front porch! Best shocking surprise I’ve had in awhile! I came home this evening and already had the chairs I ordered yesterday morning! Now to the product.

These are beautiful. I weigh about 275 lbs, and they feel plenty strong. I wouldn’t go rocking back and forth on the hind legs in them. They do have a little more play/wobble than my wife’s bargain priced wrought iron bistro set’s chairs have, but these are better quality, IMO, than the wrought iron.

These will never rust, and they have NO THREADED HOLES TO STRIP OUT or wind up damaged or clogged with a rusted broken bolt down the road. They look flawless. They are perfect, absolutely beautiful. They are easy to assemble.

I’d read on another site, in a review, that you should leave the chair’s back loose and piece the whole chair together before tightening any bolts, but I forgot to do so on my first chair. That bit of advice is correct, however.

I had to loosen two bolts on the back in order to get the seat in place on the first chair, so remember to piece the whole chair together before tightening any bolts. The hardware includes two wrenches, but no phillips head screw driver.

You’ll need another 14mm (9/16″) wrench, and maybe the phillips head. I didn’t need the screwdriver. If you have two regular 14mm (9/16″) wrenches, and a 10mm wrench, assembly will go faster, but don’t get too crazy torquing the bolts.

They may be including small wrenches for a reason, as this IZ aluminum, remember. very soft metal. What I like – a) these will never rust. b) they are heavy enough not to blow over in the wind, sturdy enough for fairly large adult like myself, if not abusing them, c) and the biggie.

THERE ARE NO THREADED HOLES TO WORRY ABOUT EVER! You will never have to be concerned about an old bolt rusting up and breaking off in a hole. These bolts ALL fasten with washers, lock washers and nuts.

d) the hardware (nuts and bolts) all have the color and overall appearance of stainless steel, e) the packaging was done SUPERBLY. All of the nuts, bolts, washers, lock washers and even included wrenches were shrink wrapped onto a card, all nice and neat, making it easy to inventory before beginning assembly.

You also get some extras, so if you drop a nut or bolt while assembling you don’t have to put everything down and crawl around the floor looking for that piece and getting all frustrated. What I don’t like – pretty much everything is great.

The hardware comes with little plastic caps that go over the nuts to make them white. The only slight negative is that the small plastic caps don’t fit the small nuts. The large ones fit their respective nuts, but I will have to use a little clear silicon glue in order to make the nut covers stay on the smaller ones, because they just slide back off.

I’ll probably go ahead and glue them all on when I get the glue. If you are a big person and/or have several large people in your family, these might not be exactly the chairs you want. I am 5’11” at about 275 lbs, and the chair is just about maxed out IMO.

I think it could hold a heavier person, but not one who is much wider. Remember, these are ARM CHAIRS. Check the dimensions if you are wide boned. Other than that, if you treat these chairs right, I am confident they will last you a lifetime, and they will NEVER rust!.

The chairs are beautiful BUT there were several pieces which were scratched. One chair back has a scratch about 2″ long where all the black is gone. Had to pick and choose parts to make even one chair.

Plus there was no assembly instructions. Have contacted company and company says they have no record of our purchase. Therefore nothing has been done.

I needed these for a small sitting room in my home. The dimensions were perfect for my small room. A lot of other chairs were too large for my small space. But they are really comfortable which is sometimes hard to achieve in small space furnishings.

The back cushions are a little too thick for now(as others have reported) but will compact over time. The swivel mechanism is flawless-moves without noise and with minimum effort. Mt rescue cats love them for their naps.

Cushions are well made and spot cleaning is a breeze.

Originally I loved this chair, it was may favorite place to sit in our cabaña. Unfortunately the chair did not last long, the spring swivel broke causing the chair to lean drastically to the point that if sat in it would tip over.

A lot of money for a horribly made chair.

Comes with 2 sets of cushion covers which is nice. Excited to put it all together as we bought this to extend the sectional. Also bought clips to clip them together.

I live the way these chairs look and the wY they feel (sturdy) when sitting in them. The only problem I have is they tend to be on the smaller side. The “Admiral” Swivel Rocking chair has a nice high back, nice size armrests.

everything about it fits the “Admiral” perception except the size of the seat, its a little snug. The cushions are nice and thick, the rocking /swiveling motion is smooth and the color of the wicker is a real rich color.

Love the entire look, just wish it had a little more room when you sit down in it, it should be an oversized chair since it’s called the “Admiral”.

The chair looks nice, but is not very comfortable. The back is too low and the seat depth is too short with the back cushion in the chair. (I’m 5’7″. ) As another viewer mentioned, the chair squeaks when rocking.

It will do, but I’m a little disappointed.

The chairs are large enough to be comfortable. The selling point for me was the rockerswivel and wide arms. They were a bch to put together. We followed the directions on the first chair, then did it our way the second chair which was much easier.

The cushions are really flimsy and will probably break down quickly being our primary seating. They might last the summer. Im already been looking for new cushions. The size seems challenging, and its an added expense which I did not want.

Overall, it’s a good product. The reason for the 3 stars is because the instructions were not correct and I had to look for youtube videos and it wasn’t until I went to Wayfair Q&A that we found the problem.

Make sure you use the smaller screws on step 3! The chairs are comfortable but wish the rocking and swivel were much smoother, feels bumpy.

Just as advertised. Comfortable sling material. No worries with the weather. Light weight, easy to move. . Only problem was time to deliver.

I have been looking for a very long time for patio/deck chairs. I wanted ones with a high back so you can sit back and rest your head. These fit the bill! They are so comfortable! Added bonus is they swivel and rock.

We did have an issue with some of the protective ‘feet’ breaking off but I contacted the company and they immediately sent me replacements, which work fine. I also like how they are made from recycled materials.

Finally, I really like that I can buy how many I need and not just a ‘set’. I’ll be back to buy the settee next!.

Very well packed/shipped. Easy to put together. Top quality, very sturdy. I hesitated spending so much on 4 chairs for the porch, but do not regret it! I ordered the covers too and they fit perfectly and appear to be good material.

Kept the rain & dirt/dust off during a rain storm.

We now have two sets of Yardbird outdoor sets. We LOVE the wicker couch and swivel rockers. We love the quality of both sets. The cushions on the metal frame couch do not say in place very well but they are still good quality.

Great experience, I looked at this twice on the net before ordering comparing the colors and ended up ordering the chairs one color and the table another color. I caught this on the confirmation and quickly called your customer line and Joe was all over this issue.

After shipment I saw the issue not correct via the email shipment confirmation so I called Joe again and he advised that it had been corrected. Sure enough when our set arrive all was correct! Shipping was also great; but I sent this set to our condo down in Puerto Vallarta Mexico – I would have liked to do this as a one stop shop but I had to handle them international shipping part through another source.

I am now in PV for the week of 4th of July and all is assembled and I am now enjoying our new patio set, yay!.

Very good quality. But I was shocked by the amount of assembly required and the poor quality of the instructions. I foolishly assumed that because of the price, the chair would be mostly assembled. Rather than giving my husband a surprise gift, I gave him a surprise headache! I would not have purchased this product if I had adequately understood the assembly time required.

Very disappointed in these chairs! We were informed after the chairs were delivered that they take a wire brush and scratch over the wicker to “texture” it. It simply makes it look more “plastic” and thus cheapens the look.

When I inquired about it, I was told to take a piece of cardboard and rub over the scratches to smooth them out. Really? On 4 chairs I just paid thousands of dollars for? The chairs would be so much better if they had eliminated the scratching.

Additionally, the seat cushions are exceedingly hard, which we are assuming will soften over time. One positive is that the company was very cooperative about shipping the chairs here even though I live in the middle of nowhere.

We’ve used our Waverly chairs for about a month now and they are VERY comfortable. I love the swivel and glide. They look attractive and feel like good quality when we are sitting in them. The cushions are deep and comfortable too.

If they wear well over time we will be happy to have made the investment.

I’ve wanted swivel gliders forever. These chairs are amazing! Comfy and beautiful. The covers for each piece are great for an open deck that has a lot of leaves, seeds and birds. Service is exceptional.
