10 Best Outdoor Pet Odor Eliminator (2022 Updated)

I have about 500 SF of artificial turf. I have tried many different odor solutions and this is my favorite so far. The scent is subtle and reminds me of fabric softener. It also last the longest at keeping the urine smell away compared to the others I’ve tried.

I use the whole bottle on my turf weekly but may have to occasionally go over spots where my dogs frequent the most in-between weekly application. I have a 100lb male lab and 45lb female lab mix.

I typically never write reviews; but this stuff is AMAZING!!! My male pit is not fixed and his urine has a super strong odor to it from marking over top of my females urine. He has marked on my patio and the 4×4 posts that’s on the patio, marked around my A/C unit, and grill cover.

I could NOT get the smell to go away. When it rained, I could not enjoy sitting on my patio. I used this stuff and it has a good strong scent when initially sprayed, but when it dries, you don’t smell anything.

It’s been a week, and still no smell. I do wish the jug was bigger, but all in all, this stuff has be awesome! It’s definitely neutralized the smell in the areas he was marking.

So this stuff is a little pricey, but it works. It has a pleasant smell when wet (but kinda strong) so I was a little worried. However, when it dries, I can’t smell it at all. My dog run just smells like- nothing! Not like pee! Our run is mostly rock over sandy dirt, but we have a brick insert that somehow they all want to pee on.

Sprayed it on the bricks and let it dry a week ago and it still smells great! Only caution- keep the doggies off it until it dries (according to the package). I have 2 big dogs (50 lbs) and one small (7 lbs) to give you an idea of the pee volume!.

This came in handy, when cat was skunked in backyard in middle of night. The smell was terrible. Sprayed the cat directly with this in a bottle. Used it 3-4 times over next 2 days as some smell lingered.

But the stench became less after first application. Another night second cat got skunked, this cat did not like direct spray, for her sprayed in paper towel and then rubbed it in her coat. But it’s more effective with some direct sprays on coat.

Maybe use a gentler spray. Sprayed it in areas where they sat after being skunked as well. It has its own smell, slightly minty. But its better than skunky smell, lol.

I’ve got a blind kitty who backs up against the box and sometimes over-sprays onto my carpet. Previously, I had used several brands to try to remove the odor and sticky residue, including a very popular one in a red and white bottle, but felt disappointed that they didn’t really work that well.

An employee at our local pet store recommended Pure Ayre after he used it to a kitty mishap involving his car seat (after the other popular products had failed to remove the smell) and boy, was he right! This stuff really works and truly is leagues ahead of the others on the market! When you first spray it, it smells a bit like minty dill pickles (sounds weird but it’s not gross or perfume-y, it just smells fresh and natural) but the smell vanishes very quickly and leaves absolutely no smell (of product or pet odor) behind.

It also leaves no sticky residue behind. It’s a food grade product, so its so safe you can even spray it directly on pets (avoiding the eyes obviously!) and brush into their coats. Much improved from others that use alcohol and smell like fake perfume.

This stuff does the trick, and with no alcohol or fake perfume smell, it is a vast improvement. I would highly recommend this product!.

Just like what other people said. It has a nice natural smell. When I was first using it, it drew up a LOT of urine smell. For a bit I thought it was worse. But I just kept letting it dry and reapply till the smell was gone.

The cats were peeing in the laundry room for years and now I can’t believe how neutral it smells. Such a relief.

My dogs are potty trained to use either the pee pads or go outside but when one of them is sick and can’t help it, they’ll miss the pad and hit the hardwood floor. This product is terrific not only on hardwood but on fabric too.

We don’t have wall to wall carpet but we do have area rugs and you can spray it right on the rug. It will not discolor but it will completely remove odor. You must saturate the stain and let it dry. Do not try to clean fabric with water and soap first, just blot the wet stain and remove as much as you can with power towels before spraying Nature’s Miracle.

I don’t know why some people are saying it has a strong perfume odor. It doesn’t. It has a fresh, clean scent and it does not foam or get “soapy”. If that’s happening it’s probably from pervious rug shampooing without proper rinsing.

Natures Miracle has no suds.

So if I’m being honest, I ordered this product out of complete desperation. I have had 4 dogs over my lifetime, and none of my previous pups struggled with potty training the way my new/current one is.

That being said. I am SO HAPPY I found this product! So far it seems to be working wonders. He went from having multiple accidents daily (literally even minutes after coming inside from going out to pee) to having a single accident, over the course of 2 weeks.

I also appreciate the smell of the product. It’s definitely distinct, but not in a bad way! It’s hard to describe but it has a very clean/fresh property to it. Overall, I definitely recommend this. Sincerely, A Very Happy Customer!.

Nature’s Miracle. my foot! Just masks the smells with strong perfume which is almost impossible to get rid of. Almost worse than the pet oders. Ruined my sofa and throw pillows. Just tried spraying everything with a 50/50 mix of distilled vinegar and water.

A suggestion from another unhappy customer. Beware if you are at all sensitive to perfumes. Horrible.

I was surprised this really does help with the cigarette smoke that comes into our apartment from the downstairs neighbor. My husband noticed right away after returning from errands how nice and clean the house smelled.

It may be a little strong for sensitive noses. On the lowest setting I think it’s good, our space is around 350 sq ft (small kitchen open to small living area). When the smoke gets worse I bump it up to a 2 or 3 and it makes a huge difference.

Reminds me of a soapy and somewhat perfume like fragrance, but it’s subtle and clean. I’m going to order two minis for the bathroom and bedroom. I wish this scent was available for the mini, but I’m excited to try the other good riddance options.

3 DOGS AND 2 CATS LATER. this stuff is the bomb! I got tired of my house smelling like dog, I cleaned and cleaned, even bought an air purifier. but this did it. When I turned off the air purifier the smell resurfaced, but with this it is continuous odor control and doesn’t smell like pet masked with flowers (I hate that).

I keep it with the dog kennels. frankly I smell nothing maybe a light scent once in a while. but that’s the beauty of it! not to smell anything! It neutralizes odors. I forget about it until I hear it.

And it has a night light.

I converted from the regular fragrance to All the Home aHygiene fragrances. a Especially the GOOD Riddance Pet Odor. They all have the wonderful scent, I was not disappointed. The Good Riddance has a very subtle scent, you would never guess it was formulated to rid pet odor.

I have 4 diffusers throughout the house, all different scents. Interesting that one does not over power the other, I like that I can have a variety of scents. If you are concerned due to the price, No Worries.

these scents last for months. And best of all the Aera mobile app lets you establish a schedule for each diffuser. I would not hesitate recommending this product to anyone!!.

I tested this on an old blanket that my cat had peed on over a period of time before I found it by smell under my porch. Holy cow, was it nasty. I soaked the blanket over night in OUT! and it really worked! The smell came out completely and has never returned even on the hottest days.

I keep this stuff handy all the time. I have a cat that I cannot trust in the wee-wee department. This stuff has been a lifesaver and can do what bleach, vinegar or whatever long-standing remedies cannot.

I treat a formerly soiled chair regularly with this just to make sure no smell ever comes back. So far, so good. The key is the enzymes, I guess, because nothing else without the enzymes works. It’s not BS.

The smell of this products is awful. Every time I use it I have to make sure someone didn’t swap the product out for Raid. This smells like Raid, it’s not slippery or oily like it which makes me feel better.

However, there is no getting over this smell. I have discontinued to use because of the smell.

Our Great Pyrenees missed the main spray, but shook all of the remaining stink juice out of it, covering her neck. Then she rolled in it, just to be sure that everyone within 100 yards of her would know she got one.

We had one bottle of skunk odor remover on hand, and it had been sitting on a shelf for a few years. I used 2/3 of the bottle on our super stinky big girl, and wish I had used the rest. Still, after this treatment and a very thorough bath, it was possible to pet her without gagging.

So it definitely works. Two of our other dogs also got in on the action, so I ran to the neighborhood TSC for a couple more bottles. One bottle is about right for either an extra fluffy 75# malamute mix or a 100# Pyr.

We are now keeping a bottle for each dog on hand.

I have 3 giant farm dogs. We get skunked regularly around here. No cleaner or trick will info what has been done completely. But this works the best out of all I have used. It can take more than one bath in the end.

But that’s to be expected of they get real saturated. My lab has no sense, she just keeps going back once she has been sprayed. Also, it’s a far less irritating solution than Anthony else we ever used.

Which matters when you have a 90lb dog your trying to clean, and they get itchy and try and scratch on you while stinky.

I’m ecstatic about my purchase of Nature’s Miracle Lavender Skunk Odor removal shampoo for animals. This stuff works if you leave it on your pet for a minimum of 5-7 minutes and then rinse it off. The animal must be saturated in this shampoo as skunk spray is an oil that penetrates into your animal’s body and fur.

I found it especially difficult to get the shampoo lathered up between the ear and eye area as I didn’t want to get the soap in the eyes when rinsing off. The skunk sprays the face and it probably feels like being pepper maced in the eyes as an animal has a hard time seeing after being sprayed by a Skunk.

Skunks carry rabies and they don’t have a sense of smell (Imagine that).

Got the Bac-Out pet stain and odor remover for free in exchange for my honest review. I don’t have pets, but wanted another bottle of stain remover as my other one is getting low, although I have vinyl floors that don’t stain so far, and only a little bit of carpet now, plus a fabric couch and chair, and outdoor plastic carpet.

The bottle nozzle has a cap that opens to the side, and a rotating head that only has ‘off’ and ‘spray’ settings, so the spray is not adjustable. So I tried this first on some old very small spots on memory foam bath/kitchen mats.

Didn’t do anything but maybe lighten them a little. Then I used my other liquid spot remover, and that cleaned one spot entirely, and lightened the other one a lot more, but you can still see it. Then I tried the Bac-Out on my indoor/outdoor plastic carpet on a dark stain area that was there when I got the place, so no idea what it was from.

Sprayed it down, let it sit for 5 minutes, and blotted it up with an old t-shirt, and it cleaned that pretty well, although most of it seemed to be just dirt anyway. I forgot to take ‘before’ pics, so ‘after’ pics won’t help you much.

So mixed results, but based on other reviews, it’s likely this stuff works better on fresher stains. It smells nice too. It probably works as advertised, I just didn’t have the normal stains to test it on, but do now for the future spills.

Product arrived quickly. I’ve used this for years in my kennel to remove odors and found Valley Vet Supply to have the best price for it. Will continue to buy this product from them.

I work in a breeding kennel that houses as many as twenty-five dogs at a time. Let me tell you, the smell when you walk into the room could knock you back! I added a little of the KOE concentrate to the diluted detergent we usually use and WOW! What a difference! Best money I ever spent!.

I could not find KOE anywhere in stores locally. This is the only product I have found that works on covering and eliminating strong urine odors that have penetrated and permeated areas my dog use frequently.

Makes the neighbors happy. When diluted, a little goes a long way, so it is economical, too.

I was hesitant on getting this for my noodles just because I am weird about supplements and things of this nature for any of my animals. But this actually helps out more than I thought it would! It has a slight smell to it but once it’s mixed with the water you can’t tell the difference and neither can the noodles.

And mine are super super picky so that says a lot! That being said I would say that they are still musky (if you don’t want musk don’t have ferrets) but it’s not nearly as bad as before. I’m not sure if it’s because of the food that they prefer or what but I’ve had 4 ferrets at one time and they didn’t smell near as strong as the 2 I have now.

Odor isn’t gone (didn’t expect it to be) but it is definitely better than before. 7/10 on the smell scale.

I had an unused bottle laying in my room for a while. Only two weeks ago did I decide to give it a try. I did not follow this to the letter, because I use much smaller volumes of water. For me, just adding drops of this to the water made a huge difference.

The lack of stank now is incredible. I used to have to wash the mice wheels everyday just due to the smell alone, but now I don’t feel that I have to do that. I think this is a must have for small animal owners.

The smell between cleanings is so much less and with a good cage cleaning schedule you wouldn’t know I share a room with small animals. 🙂 I don’t know everyone’s situation, but I think it would be important to consider if your pet itself is clean and healthy before you knock the product usefulness.

I’ve had great results.

I love my little guy Rizzo, but he’s cage just smelled. And, I was cleaning it every 2 days. GOODYBUY B & W is great! Just a few squirts in his water bottle was all I needed. Actually, it’s recommend by veterinarians so it’s safe to use.

Rizzo is an adult male rat so his hormones are raging. He urinates everywhere in his cage, even though he’s got a litter tray and poops in there. He didn’t smell so bad when he was a baby. It will take a week or two on it before you can smell the difference.

GBye does seem to leave a film on the glass in his water bottle. I got a baby bottle scrubber for it to use at water changes. I noticed there’s a DIFFERENT formula for ferrets too. It’s made by the same company.

This is an amazing product. My dog got a direct hit in the chest and had so much oil. Before I could get to the store we scrubbed him with a hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, dish soap mixture. But this product sealed the deal! My only feedback would be if they could make a product that you could use around the face.

I soak a cloth and every few hours rub top of his head and under chin. But a good scrubbing would be awesome. Am currently washing a load of laundry with it as well.

I tried all the usual home remedies when my dog got sprayed in our backyard, none of them really had much effect. By contrast, this Nature’s Miracle stuff cut at least 90% of the smell so I could live my life in our house while the remaining scent dissipated from my dog over a few days.

I found it at a local Ace Hardware for a decent price — buying it online is really expensive for some reason. Also works great for cleaning up pet mistakes on carpet.
