Nice surprise. Easy out of box operation. Motion sensor works great, very sensetive. I have had for a week. Put one in the alley. what was dark and creepy is now bright and secure. Put on by my front gate now everyone walking by has a nice light to see by.

For the money I am getting more. Great gift idea also. Thank you.

Funny to read any negative reviews on this item. They are great. I can see how some not to bright people give the reviews. Charge it. Use the pin included to turn it on. Put it in the sun. Take the protective plastic off the panel.

These are well worth the money. I bought two so far, perfect and will be buying more.

This light works better than I expected. I put in in a dark outdoor stairwell. Motion sensor works well. Light is very bright. Highly recommended.

These home zone security solar step lights is what I needed. I put my lights outside near my steps and driveway. The use is easy to do. Turn on and sit in sun is an easy way to work with. At night it is very bright I dont have to turn my porch lights on.

Getting out my car and walking to the steps it is automatically on. Love that its solar. I think imma get me some more to put around my garden. I told my father he need to get him some for his yard. I recommend them to my family and friends.

These lights work great. Im upstairs so I install them by my stairs outside. They provide enough light when someone approaches the steps. I like that they are motion activated so they are only used when needed.

The light is bright and are solar power, so no wiring was required. I will be buying more for the back of my garage. Great quality and easy to install, very impressed.

I love how it makes you feel safer when coming home at night or just doing stuff around the yard at night. I think everyone should have some of these just to be safer. They are very well made and sturdy.

Awesome product. Very sleek an orden design. It illuminates just perfect, not too dark not too bright. It creates an awesome environment.

The lights themselves are great. I was disappointed because I have already had to replace the AAA rechargeable batteries in three of them. The individual batteries cost more than the individual lights.

We mounted these on our outside walkway steps and landings. They provide plenty enough light to safely light the steps but are not glary or too bright to be obtrusive. Love them!

What a fabulous set of lights, The amount of light put out is perfect. Not so bright that it blinds people, but gives the perfect amount of light to be able to see where you are stepping safely. I would recommend these lights to anyone and everyone.

I really liked this at first. However, it’s been a few months now and they are not all still working. Those that are, are good. Not sure what to do with the ones not working. Would have been a 4 at 1st.

Because 7 of the eight worked well. The eighth one worked if I turn it on manually at night. Where as the others were great at turning on at dark. Bright and could be seen from the road as little lightening.

I live in an older neighborhood without street lights, but lots of day walkers, and occasionally people walking through in the evening. As well, as I like to take 1 or more of our 3 dogs out for some night air, or night sky viewing.

In summary, would recommend like a short term solar light. Better than another string set I bought around same time. That string set needs to be returned as they only last a few weeks. So I guess I can recommend.

I recently obtained these solar powered disk lights and I am totally stoked with them. They are super sleek in design. I chose to place them just below my outside front windows to give my home a much desired look.

I notice my neighbors stop and look trying to figure out the source of the lights. What is best is that they are care-free I simply staked them to the ground and that was it. They are ment to last 10 years and ten hours of light, perfect for these summer night.

We chose the set them to turn on automatically when it gets dark. At first I was concerned that the would get ruined if I got them wet. However I found out they are waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about getting them soaked when I water my rose bushes which are right next to them.

Over all they are a gret product and highly recommend them.

Home Zone Security Solar Deck Lights are quality lights. They charge well and give off a nice glow. They’re not very bright but they work for my purposes. The low profile and amount of light is just the right brightness that it won’t blind but helps guide you at night.

The on off button is a bit difficult to toggle but they seem pretty sturdy and look very nice.

Very sturdy, good quality lights. I was looking for glass, stainless steel material lights and these met that. I’m not a fan of the design that the lights let out when they are on but such is life as I looked everywhere and it seems like the clear majority of the ones I looked at that were glass and stainless steel structure had a design on the glass that when turned on reflected on the glass.

In fact, I didn’t find any that didn’t. Either way, I’m happy with my purchase as they are as advertised, easy to install and seem durable not like the lightweight stuff you find at local hardware stores.

We’re very pleased with these outdoor lights. Had the gardener put them in place of some very old ones which weren’t working properly and lo and behold we had nice garden path lights again. They started glowing just a couple of hours after being put in the ground.

I’ve ordered another set for this property, and later will order some for our other house.

some of these people don’t know how solar power works. These things are solar powered so of course, if there isn’t any sun in the middle of winter they’re not going to be on like 12 hours after sunset.

come on. ANY WAY. They are nice and sturdy, pretty glass and they work well when the sun is out to do the charging.

Our main door is off to the side of the main part of the house. Sun does hit it from 12-5. However, after that time it’s a darkened area. These lights do light up the area of where you take each step.

It holds enough charge to shine most dark time we want to illuminate. It is not blinding like a spotlight we had hoped would work. Small and powerful.

The lights are attractive. However I only got intermittent light from them. Some nights no lights lit up at all. Other nights, some lit up and others did not. I must have a product that provides light consistently due to the nature of my front steps.

Placed these on our railing going down our back deck steps. They treats a path at night that is safe Nd beautiful! Love them and want to get more of them.

I use these lights on my driveway so folks can back out without going on the lawn. I will next buy another box for my dock. Bright and on all night! I first covered the on button area with silicone then used 2 circles of liquid nails and weighted them down until the glue hardened.

No drilling!.

Ordered a box of 12, heavy cast metal, feels solidly built. All worked well right out of the box. Lights are bright. Comes with screws and anchors. No complaints at all. We’ll get them installed and see how they do over the long haul.

Ive had two of these lights on my beachfront deck for 10 years and have never changed the batteries or done anything to them! They still come on every night and stay on with good light for about 6-8 hours.

I bought the original lights from Lowes and paid $30 for two. I only needed four to add new lights to some steps, but for the price I paid for 2 I got 8! Needless to say Im very pleased with the quality and value.

I purchased 6 of these units and install in February. I liked the design, and purchased them mainly as a motion sensitive device to light up stairs. The fact that they worked with Ring system, and would alert me to movement was a plus.

However, you have to have an additional piece of equipment such as a 4th gen ECHO or a Ring Bridge. So I upgraded my Echo device. So now I’m getting notification of movement. But it was every movement.

The wind blew, and I got a notification. The notification became just noise. I didn’t even realize that I wasnt getting the notification. One of the units isn’t turning on anymore. Trying to find help at Ring was impossible.

When I did, it was a prolonged processed of checking, rechecking and going off line to confer. They finally agreed to replace it under warranty. However, it wouldn’t show up for three months. So five months later, the replacement still hasn’t arrived.

Now 4 of the remaining five units aren’t working. And guess what, the item is no longer in stock anywhere. Ring new that back in April. And I once again an having trouble contacting Ring support. Not a fan of these products.

I love these things, bought three for my deck stairs and then bought more for my fence. I put them near my gate and it lights up to help getting through the gate. They charge with the sun and you can link them in the Ring App so when one detects motion it turns on all of them.

They can also turn on other Ring devices, like you camera, floodlights etc. So the one by my back gate, turns on my floodlight for the yard, but not the deck lights. You can set the brightness and how long they stay on when motion is detected.

you can also set the motion sensitivity and even set it to “People Only” mode if you don’t want your dog setting them off. And you can set it not to turn the light on during the day, and that light sensitivity also.

They are the most advanced little solar lights I’ve seen and I’d buy more from Best Buy if they could get them in stock!!.

I bought these lights before but couldn’t buy the white color housing anywhere else. Had to pay the shipping costs. Lights are easy to install but there is no securing screw and they can be stolen easily.

Well made product. Versatility in how they can be used/placed and the choice of warm white or multi colour, are great features. Casts a good amount of light after sundown. Definitely recommend!UPDATED REVIEW:Re-purchased a set of these lights June 2022, and was surprised to receive them loose in a padded envelope that had been ripped, not boxed as my previous two orders had been.

3 of the 4 lights were brand new, however the 4th had definitely been used. It looks weathered much like the lights I’ve had since 2020, and there is a small crack in the corner of the solar panel. Feels like my order was just thrown together with whatever they had available.

Love them. I’d give 5-stars if the colored lights could stay on each individual color, and if there was a little cutout in each side of the plastic where I could affix Velcro so that it could be flat with the surface instead of slightly raised since I don’t want to put holes in my Trex boards.

Otherwise, I love them!.

These are perfect, they give a warm light and it looks like sun rays at night. I’m ordering more. They also can be set up without screws, they are stable enough, so you can move them wherever you want in the garden.

These solar beacons are very fragile. They are composed entirely of plastic, so the spikes are not even solid enough to be driven into the ground. I broke four of them and 3 out of 12 are not working.

I would not recommend this product.

We just installed these lights today. They were easy to assemble, easy to install just pressed them into the ground, and the brightness is amazing. We put them along a curved sidewalk in our front yard.

There were areas difficult to maneuver at night because it was so dark. The lights are a perfect addition to illuminate that area. We really like the pattern the lights make on our walk. They all work! We carefully followed the assembly/installation instructions, particularly when pressing the lights into the ground.

In fact, I waited until after a light rain to insure the ground was soft. I plan to purchase another set for our garden area. Sadly, Amazon doesnt have our color in stock. I guess Ill order from QVC.

Ok so I just installed these lights and they are nice. I took off 1 star because they dont cast a diffuse light and feel it should be mentioned. The light comes out in a distinct radiant pattern. Thankfully we like the pattern well enough just not what I expected.

I love these pathway light. They’re beautiful. My original sets are over a year old and produce excellent light even though many are in the shade Stay on all night. I’m ordering more to illuminate other areas around the house.

I purchased the lights and they worked great for the first summer until I stayed up fairly late one evening and by 2am, roughly 6 hours after illuminating, the lights were either very dim or completely off.

This summer only half of the lights that I purchased last summer, 14 total, still work. Some of the lights that still work, not all of the diodes continue to illuminate. Overall, very dissatisfied with the product.

Purchased 12 of these lights for around our patio. Look great and work great. Then purchased 16 more to put along the driveway and front walk. Even on cloudy days they charge enough to last 5 to 6 hours.

I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase. Would recommend this product.

We were very unhappy with the lights. Once they were rained on they randomly did not light up. Apparently they are not water proof. They were a big waste of money. We have since replaced them with another type of light.

Very disappointed.

Perfect lamp with better design than some previous ones I’ve used over last 20 years. The light is a little dim. The only negative is the plastic label that is about 2 inches long that Harborfreight applies to the shaft.

It is nearly unremoveable. Goo gone does nothing. Nor alcohol etc. I got 90% removed by heat gun and razor blade. This is worth it and severe degraded the look. See you tube for other peoples complaints.

I called local manager and he had nothing more to. I said I’d buy 6 more if he’d remove the labels. He said he couldn’t do that either. That about says it all.

These look nice and work as advertised. It is not a white led light but more like an incandescent bulb color which looks nice at night. Durability cannot be commented as I just got them. For $8. 95 each not bad.

These are very nice looking and work quite well. They definitely make the posts at the bottom of our front porch steps look so much better and the whole effect is super flattering!

This small light actually shines very brightly. The install seems easy and all parts are included. I didn’t even hang this little light, I keep it on the ground near the front door and am quite impressed with how much light it emits.

Similar to the amount of light from an indoor night light. So easy! Great for nighttime delivery drivers. Make sure it’s set in an area with direct sunlight to be able to charge. Indirect light/ brightness will not charge it.

This Better Homes & Gardens Landscape Solar Light, 5 Lumens (Brown) is just what I needed. My “sensor” porch light hasn’t been working and the delivery people that come and go in the evenings have been tripping up and down a single step that leads to my front door, so I got this and set it on the edge of that particular step to illuminate it and make it more noticeable for the delivery people who are lifesavers right now.

It’s nice and bright. I was really surprised how much light such a small box gives off. I plan to get a few more of these to highlight other areas of my front porch.
