20 Best Outdoor Toys For Dogs (2022 Updated)

It is nearly impossible to find toys my heavy chewer dogs do not chew through, and Kongs like this are really the only things that last. My tiny dachshund mix used to chew on these years ago and would chew off tiny specks of the edges (which I have no idea how she did that) But she’s not interested in these types for a very long time.

My two previous big dogs always had these on hand, and I didn’t even put any treats inside. My newest big dog has destroyed every single thing I have gotten him except this. At first he was only interested in stuffed types, but I stopped ordering them for him and only left my two Kong’s and now he only chews on these.

There are other types that worked for my heavy chewers years back But they eventually chipped quite a few teeth. But I’ve had a talk with my vet where we agreed it was worth it to us for them to have some dental work every now and then instead of destroying the house.

Anyway, these are a lifesaver if your dogs are into them. If they are not into them maybe do what I did and take away every other toy where they eventually have no choice and realize they are just fine.

Have the dimensions on these toys changed significantly? I ordered two of these balls earlier this year and my pittie mix destroyed the smaller one in days, so we were more careful with the larger one, and it is only recently that she’s taken this one apart.

I ordered a new one — large. My bad for not drilling down into more of the description, because “large” is about the size of a softball. Worthless. I’ll be sending it back. What I was replacing was about the size of a smallish pumpkin.

Dimensions, photos with relevant dog sizes would be super helpful. That said, I also ordered a holee roller extreme, which is about the same size as this pseudo-large, but much thicker in construction.

This might keep her occupied for a while.

‘Rock’ is my black labs favorite retrieving toy. As soon as we say ‘rock’ he is hyper focused and ready to go swimming. We take all 3 to the pool and the lake. They skip and float great. He will retrieve them from sun up to sun down.

He has had all 3 for about 5 years now and has never destroyed 1. Anybody complaining about their dog destroying the toy, it’s their dog, not the toy. It has been indestructible, and he chews on it with his molars in between tosses.

My dog loves the water but has always preferred me to skip stones for her to chase instead of just swimming, so this is the perfect toy for us. They are easy to see out in the water, and float nicely.

I’ve only gotten them to do one skip on the water before they plop, but maybe technique would make a difference, and she loves it anyways. She has also discovered that she can push it underwater with her paws, and it will pop back up which is an exciting bonus to her.

The only thing that I will warn of is that she quickly was able to get teeth marks in it, but she’s been chewing on it for a bit now and no pieces have come off. I certainly recommend this product, it is the perfect summer toy for us! A rather unique idea by Kurgo!.

I have bought many of these off of amazon and both of my dogs love them. Minus one star because the orange rock is nearly impossible for my dog to spot in our pool. Dogs must not be able to pick up on the orange color well.

So, I wish they had more color options. Also, they are sold in a variety pack so never sure which colors will show up. (I just got two 2-packs and ended up with both being yellow and orange, so the orange ones will be indoor toys.

Purple are the best for fetching in the water. ). They are not indestructible by any means but for the price they last quite a few months. I have a 45lb husky and a 70lb black mouth curr and both of these girls love them.

Mine tend to disappear in the backyard or in the house almost as if they were socks going into the dryer. I will continue to order as they are their favorites.

I wanted to really love this toy. It’s actually the second time I bought it. but only out of desperation because it lasted longer than all the other toys my dog has destroyed. I don’t have a big dog but he’s a determined chewer and can destroy ANYTHING but a Kong.

He’s a 1 yr old lab/maybe husky/maybe retriever/viszla mix (we think). He LOVED LOVED LOVED this toy but chewed the rope off straight out of the gate. He used that weakness to find a spot to tear in the fabric and reveal the rubber and it was over from there.

To be fair if you’re using this the right way (for fetch instead of it ending up as a chew toy) it will likely last much, much longer. It’s nice and light and throws well and was well-liked by my pup.

Love this bumper. It’s really visible and floats high on the water making it easy to find even in choppy water. I was afraid because it was foam I wasn’t going to be able to throw it very far but the material is dense and the rope makes it easy to get some distance on it.

I saw some reviews complaining that it doesn’t hold up to chewing. I have no doubt that if I gave my young Brittany this bumper to play with in the house he’d destroy it in a New York minute but I’m pretty sure that’s not what it was designed for.

For play time in the lake, river or pool it can’t be beat.

We have owned many of these bumpers over the years and the dogs LOVE them! They are quite light, dry quickly, and are more enticing to the dogs(both retriever breeds) than plastic bumpers because they are soft and easy to grip in the water.

I find them way easier to throw far than tennis balls because of the attached string. I have found that they hold up very well however, they are not a chew or tug toy. My dogs chase them, bring them back, and then drop them at my feet.

I wouldnt recommend it for dogs that are much more destructive than that or do not follow direction, because they could be destroyed in seconds. I like the orange color best because it seems easier to see in the water once the color starts fading.

I dont think we have ever gotten to the point of wearing them out- at least once a summer I will miscalculate a throw and they end up floating away. I would recommend the subscribe and save option if you play with them in rivers or lakes!.

This toy is AMAZING! I have yet to be disappointed in Jolly Pet toys. My childhood dog started out and 3 generations later Jolly Pet still holds the gold medal of toys. They are make well and last forever.

Not to mention your dog will go crazy for it. Right now we have 3 dogs in the house under the age of 3 and Poppy our oldest has not left it leave her sight since it came in the mail! I actually went and ordered a larger one.

Poppy is on the cusp of needing a medium and large so I started with the medium 6 in because it was best suited for all the dogs. Can’t wait for the Large to come in and see which one she prefers and which one she lets the others play with haha.

Border Collie approved. Definitely her favorite toy to entertain herself (which I love) and if I’m bored I just shake it or hit the inside smaller ball around and she goes crazy (which I sheepishly also love).

My only critique is that a version with a kind of silicone outer lining or something similar for grip and comfort would be nice as it is all scratched up due to her biting it and carrying it around. This causes scratching on me if she sets it on my legs or I pick it up.

Otherwise it is great. Not to mention I have owned it over one year. To note: My dog is a classic border collie who needs entertainment and while she is a heavy chewer, she is trained to get a bone when she wants to chew and I have met other dogs (such as many pits) who are stronger chewers.

She uses a medium extreme ko-ng for reference and can escape any crate. Silicone heavy duty toys usually last. She is also anxious and ball obsessed so she does not try to destroy this though she probably could with motivation.

This fell apart after using it one time. This toy does not hold up to the quality I’ve seen from other Ruffwear products at all. The rope completely started to unravel and tear away from the rest of the toy after hardly any play with my dog.

The rest of the toy also has noticeable puncture holes throughout from my dogs teeth when he picked it up. I’m very disappointed with this product and wouldn’t recommend it to others. My dog isn’t even that heavy of a chewer!.

So far, so good. Our dog loves it and it gives her a good workout. My husband has taken to wrapping the lunker with duct tape before use to extend it’s life. Older ones seemed to hold up reasonably well, but newer ones had started to come apart much sooner.

About a year ago, I purchased 1 small and 1 large Kong frisbee, and several Chuckit balls, for my sister’s Catahula dog, Guy. He absolutely loves them all. When playing frisbee with him, you have to have a second frisbee or ball, to rotate.

When he fetches the frisbee and brings it back, he won’t let go unless you throw a second frisbee or ball. Fortunately, he’s not a chewer on toys, but he is a tough dude when playing tug-a-war with his Kong frisbees.

These things are tough and sturdy, and a huge bonus is they are gentle on his mouth, teeth and gums when catching, versus the harder plastic frisbee he used to have. One downside is they don’t float in the pool, although the Chuckit balls do float.

I bought this Red Goodie Bone plus the Purple Kong Quest Bone to have a choice of toys for our little puppy to chew on. I gave him the Quest toy first but the treat holes were easily torn away after about a day and I had to throw it out to stop him eating the broken bits.

When I swapped over the this Goodie bone, it’s been a much better experience. Kong’s usual toys made from the red rubber have always stood up to lots of chewing and never seem to bore my dog. This particular bone is perfect for adding treats into the ends to keep him amused for longer.

I definitely recommend steering clear of any other chew toys (including some Kong spinoffs) and sticking to the range of Kong red or black chew toys if you have a relentless chewer.

Both of my dogs LOVED these!! The quality, size, color, and price are outstanding!! Both of my dogs cuddle up with their ducks which just warms my heart every time I see it! My aggressive chewer (pit x boxer, 2 years, 100lb) took a while before she ripped her duck open! (it took a lot of chewing & pulling to do so).

The ducks are made from a plush but super durable material, they don’t stretch much at all which makes them last longer. Due to the quality of the material it makes it possible to restitch them closed! I’d recommend these for ANY dog, but for destructive dogs (ones who like tearing things apart like my pit x boxer) I’d recommend supervised play, or correction!.

These use to be something I would recommend, but the last two I purchased. What a disappointment. While stuffies are not normally known for their sturdiness these ducks have been little survivors. Unfortunately, these last two are not the same quality of all the others.

The material has gotten cheaper and weaker, and the stitching. Well let’s just say it is poorly done. A bill and foot have become separated without the slightest provocation. And now I have found holes all through the material.

I have bought many of these, but quality is so bad in the last two it really is sad. Now what are we to do with no ducks???.

I’ve been buying Duckworth ducks since 1999, and my dogs love them as much as I do! I have the original yellow Duckworth Websters that look great still, and there’s one in the collection that has seen better days (no stuffing, holes ripped in it).

My 11 month old puppy has been attached to the beat up Duckworth for the past 3 months. He carries it outside, brings it back in, and he needs it anytime he gets out of his crate – sort of like a pacifier! I bought him a new Duckworth in hopes that he’d adopt the new one.

no luck. The great news is that they wash up really well (only wash with other dog toys – no towels, etc, or they mat up) – my puppy pees on the beat up Duckworth regularly, so it visits the “spa” for detergent and vinegar often.

I’ve noticed our husky/Kelpie mix intensely watch us do things like put stuff in drawers, open & close things, so I figured I’d try one of these puzzles. Right now she’s 6 mos old and getting into everything so I felt like she’d guess the Level 1 puzzle pretty quickly so I bought the Level 2-3 one.

I didn’t fill all of the pockets at first, just the “bones” to see if she would be smart enough to move them. She only used her nose and teeth to move them, and it took her some encouragement from us but she found all 4 but she also wanted to run off and chew the bones.

I didn’t think she’d open the flip lids so I left the bones out and put treats under them. She sniffed and pushed them around, of course trying to chew on it too. But now with her third time, I filled all 20 spots (used Blue Buffalo Bites Salmon flavor – really fishy smell!) – she “solved” it in under 3 minutes.

Filled it again, solved it in about a minute. (So much for keeping her occupied for 10-15 minutes!) I really didn’t think this would work but I’m so surprised at how much it allows her to focus her otherwise crazy attention to doing this even if it’s for a brief time.

I’m probably going to have to graduate her up to the Level 4 expert level by the end of summer. I’m sure other dogs may just plop themselves down and take their time sniffing out the treats. Watch them and encourage them to find it (they will get frustrated and try to chew it & the lids do pop off so this is NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN LEAVE THEM UNSUPERVISED with – it’s a chance for you to praise them and encourage them to find the treats to keep them focused on the task).

Mix up treat flavors so they can focus on the ones they really like to smell & eat. I wouldn’t recommend putting peanut butter in it because the puzzle is not meant to be chewed on. Definitely put the puzzle out of the dogs reach when done.

Just received a box from Chewie today and my dog knew right away that there was some good stuff inside of it. There were treats in there but I also had the puzzles in there so she was very interested in opening the box.

Once we took the puzzle out and started filling it with kibble, she was super interested and it kept her attention while we filled it for about a full seven minutes which is how long it took her to get all of the treats out.

Then she was still interested in it for a while to make sure that she actually did get all of them. Several times she picked it up and dropped it on the ground so the treats would fall out. I was hoping that the puzzle pieces would snap in a little more sturdily into the base so that if she did pick it up she couldn’t knock the treats out.

I was very pleased at how well it held her attention. I think whenever we do it again, she might resort to just dropping it on the floor again. I’ll repost if that happens. But she’s almost 10 years old and has been pretty lethargic/bored lately.

This activity perked her right up which was very nice to see!.

My 8. 5 pound chihuahua terrier mix looks so excited when I set this puzzle down for her. This level two puzzle is a fun challenge. I think she’d be able to solve it faster if she removed the white bone shaped treat covers completely.

However, she often just nudges them out of the way just enough to eat her kibble. As a result, she has trouble sliding the red squares into the center which means she can get frustrated when she can’t easily reach the treat compartment underneath.

Sometimes she’ll chew on the lid of the red square because she can smell the treats in the compartment below. I’ve been intervening at this point to show her how moving the white bone shaped treat covers over to the floor will allow her to slide the red squares inward so that she can then reach the treat compartment below.

I think she’s starting to catch on— we’ve only had this puzzle for a week. I was pleased that she was able to flip open the lids of the red squares and slide them inward with her nose without too much difficultly.

I was worried that this might be too hard for her but it has provided the right amount of challenge. If your dog is already doing level one puzzle toys, treat balls, and slow feeders with ease I would encourage you to try this puzzle out.

I love that I can look at my pup and see her wheels turning while she’s working this puzzle. My only gripe is that one of the lids has popped off with what I consider gentle use. I was able to re-attach easily but I’d recommend keeping a close eye on your doggo while they use this since it isn’t intended to be a super durable, free access chew toy.

I have been throwing Chuckit! balls almost every day for more than a year now so I feel like it’s time for me to contribute my input. All the balls are durable but my dog and I have our favorites. Dogs only see blue and yellow with all other colors being seen as a shade of grey.

So both of us prefer the blue balls because it is easier for both of us to see them especially in the fall when the orange balls hide in the leaves. My dog is an Australian Shepherd and all the balls we use are the medium sized balls.

Here’s our order of preference: 1. The blue whistler. This comes in a pack with an orange whistler. These balls have four holes and they really do whistle as they fly through the air. 2, The blue Rebound (recycled) ball.

They say the colors vary but all of my orders have been blue with orange flecks. They look and feel like whistlers but they only have two holes and they don’t whistle. Since the two balls are much cheaper than the whistlers and you get two blue balls in a pack, it’s a real deal for us to get these.

3. The orange whistler. 4. The Ultra rubber ball is a solid ball. This is preferred when playing in water because they float. They are not preferred when doing long fetch sessions because it is harder for my dog to breath with the solid ball in her mouth.

5. Even though it’s easier to breath with the Air Fetch, my dog just doesn’t care for it at all. She also didn’t show much interest in the ultra flyer but she is fixated on balls so that is probably a breed thing.

These balls do stand up to their ultra name. Our giant jawed mastiff cross would completely shred a tennis ball in 30 seconds. The high bounce rubber balls that our sausage dog likes would not last much longer.

It seemed to be part of the fetch game for “Jaws” to chomp any ball into pieces. We tried a large Nerf spike ball but Jaws would not chase it [because he couldn’t chomp it]. The Chuckit ultra ball provides some “give” to keep him happy yet is tough enough to survive.

Whilst not completely indestructible, it’s the best we have found to date. We have the medium size (2. 5 inch) one which is perfect for our large dog. It’s of similar size to a tennis ball and works great with the inexpensive no-name launcher I bought from the local IGA grocery store.

I’m pretty sure my Dachshund was re-born from a Labrador because all he cares about it fetching his ball. I love the Chuckit balls because they come in different sizes and have a good feel/bounce to them.

I order the small size which is perfect for my Doxie and even my Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is the ball still won’t withstand the chewing/jaw strength of my Doxie.

He always ends up working through the ball and will eventually chew a hole in it. However, now I just take it away or monitor him when he has it so it won’t get destroyed. I also only buy these on Chewy when on sale because they are more expensive than other balls.

Regardless, my two little ones love these balls and definitely are recommended!.

I gave our sweet pup the Benebone bone as soon as it arrived. It was the perfect size for her, she could carry it easily, and manipulate it as she chewed. I was very happy thinking I had found a great replacement for the deer antlers she loved to chew, but are very expensive to replace.

It wasnt long, however, before her strong chewing had created hundreds of very sharp indentations all along the bone. She often will bring her chew toy to ya to help hold while she chews, but its impossible to hold it with all the sharp edges.

She doesnt like it very much now, because Im sure it causes pain to her lips and tongue. Unfortunately, It will have to be discarded. Plastic just isnt right for our dog.

This thing is hard, huge, and weighty! A little pricey but worth it. I bought a couple for our bigger adult dogs who chewed them a little. Luckily, they are very sturdy and last a long time. They lost interest pretty quick though.

However, one has made it to our 6 month old puppy and he is in love! He is eating everything at this point and I never would’ve thought to give him one because it is truly adult size and way too big, even though he’s a large breed puppy.

He wraps his paws around this huge stick and chews it for hours. I have bought freezable bones and rings, and every puppy chew toy out there to hold his attention and ease his teething. This is his new favorite.

Definitely puppy and mommy approved! Lol!.

We love this pack! Our mini doodle has enjoyed both of these from 8 weeks (6 lbs) through 15 weeks (13 lbs), and we plan to replace with another once needed. The rolling one in particular is his absolute favorite chew toy.

He gnaws it like a lollipop we joke, and really loves when we hold it for him to get his back teeth on. He also loves when we spin it on the floor or roll it away from him; really engages him on all levels! The wood is one he enjoys chewing, but doesn’t have as much fun with.

More of a chew less of a toy. We were worried they would be too hard for our pup as some reviews said but he very quickly proved us wrong, he had no issues but has definitely worn the rolly one down decently so far.

We bought this as a Xmas gift for our grand dog. She loved the toy & it was perfect for her because she plays rough and the rubber ball has a similar reaction to a person holding the rope (without putting all of the force on my shoulder).

The ball also gives some separation between dog & human for tug of war. I volunteer at a local shelter and the “tug of war” dogs love to swing the ball around. Unfortunately, we only had the toy for 2 weeks and the rope pulled completely out of the ball.

We tried contacting the manufacturer to see if there’s a way to fix it but they’ve never responded. I don’t recommend buying this item since there’s no customer support when the product fails.

Our dog loves balls and loves to chew. This toy has brought endless hours of fun for him. He is a 20 pound cavapoo and we had the 6 in ball. We left it at the park accidentally so rebuying. He chewed through the rope toy and now plays with that separately and the ball is PERFECT for bringing to the park to play soccer with him.

I like it because I don’t have to throw the ball over and over with the chuckit, I can just kick it for him. SUPER durable ball yet somehow still light and doesn’t hurt him if he accidentally gets a ball to the head 😛 Also floats, so it’s fun in the pool.

Oh and it doesn’t squeak thank God haha.

I don’t normally review anything but for the last three dogs I’ve owned THIS has been the all time favorite toy. For Jaxon, my min schnauzer, NOTHING beats his jolly ball. He fetches this particular toy on demand.

Ask where’s the jolly, and he immediately seeks it out. On days I don’t feel well he plays with this ball all by himself. We’re on our third one. They’re almost indestructible but it’s one that stays out a lot and each dog has had his own.

I would definitely recommend this to high energy pup owners.

Unfortunately, this was not a toy my dog particularly liked. She played with it for about 5 seconds, but we still keep it. I think she likes plush toys, but she DESTROYS them in seconds, despite being a 7 lb Maltese mix.

However, I think the toy was excellently made for anyone looking for a toy for a dog that likes to chew on their toys, but you don’t want to be replacing them every day/month/week. I truly believe, that the stitching can definitely withstand some damage.

The only thing is that the hippo was a little on the hard side, so if your furry friend/fiend needs something that softer, you may want to look elsewhere. I think a bigger dog than mine would be fine if the toy hit her head or body when playing.

That is also something to keep in mind when looking at this toy. I really wish she liked it, but GoDog (I think that is the brand) has some really great options for those that like the plushies and can be rather rough.

The Wubba Ballistic Friend is my dog’s favorite toy. We are on our third in two years. We don’t let him have it constantly, only when we play with him with it. It’s very strong, and he loves biting the “head.

” It’s good for some tug of war and fetch. If we forget to pick it up he sometimes chews on it, and these occasional chews will eventually open a hole. Not much stuffing, we can still play with it until he gets the “legs” chewed off.

We get the largest size for our 60 pound german shepherd mix. Definitely recommend and we will keep buying them.

I loved how easy this is to use. It has so many uses as well. You can use it as a fetch and retrieval toy, a tug toy or a busy toy. His favorite thing currently is using it as a tug toy. If it was up to him and he had the energy, he would tug on this thing for hours.

It’s durable too, he really puts it through hell. I don’t know what it is about this toy specifically. I don’t know if it’s the wiggle tails, the easy to chew top or the squeaking but it drives him crazy and he loves it.

I purchased one of these a little over a year ago because my dog loves to chase/catch more than she likes to fetch, and a ball is just too fast for her to chase after and catch. Since then, she has fallen in love with it.

I let her out of her kennel when I get home from work and (after licking me once or twice) she runs to her frisbee and carries it around/drops it at my feet until we go outside and play. It has become part of our routine.

Food, *****, frisbee. Because it’s flexible, its easy to cram into any remaining space I have in my pack, but the material it’s made of is durable and retains it’s shape incredibly well. It will get a little flimsy after a while, but you can wash it in the sink with a little dish soap and let it air dry, and it stiffens up and flies better (and its clean!) After a year of heavy use, some games of tug-o-war with other dogs and a hole in the seam where the top and the rim meet, this disc still flies unexpectedly well.

My dog and I have gone through A LOT of discs (at least a dozen different brands). We usually use plastic competition style discs but I was looking for something more casual to play catch and tug with.

I’m usually not a fan of soft or rubber discs. They don’t tend to fly well and are heavy so they drop like a rock. Not this one! It’s super lightweight, flies amazingly (straight, doesn’t veer), perfect for short-medium distance tosses.

It hovers really well and is easy to catch, making it a great beginner disc. We also play tug with it and it’s holding up surprisingly well! No punctures yet. I did not think the thin material would hold up to tugging but it’s surpassed my expectations.

This is now our new favorite casual and training disc. Highly recommend!.

I bought one of these because I was looking for a frisbee my dog wouldn’t immediately tear up or break apart. I honestly didn’t know how much he’d like it, but this toy is literally my dog’s favorite thing.

He will chase it around, and also loves to flip it up and throw it around for himself. When I put his toys away, this is the one he goes to grab out of the toy box most often! It has also been surprisingly durable, and has withstood lots of tug and also him chewing at it pretty frequently.

If/when his first one finally wears out, we will be getting another!.

Myself and my two grand-dogs (mini dachshunds) were excited when we received the balls. I liked the price and that they did not make noise. The dogs were so excited I threw them back and forth about 4 times left the room for a few minutes examined the balls and some spikes were missing and on the carpet.

So I had to throw them away. Might be good for another dog but not mine.

I ordered 2 of the small for my 8 yr old miniature dachshund. He’s a ball fetching / playing /chewing fanatatic. When he’s not playing with it he chews it. Gorilla balls are the 1st ones he can’t destroy.

They also help keep his teeth clean! I’ve spent alot of money on different “tough” balls that he destroyed in a couple of weeks or less, some in just days. Highly Recommend!.

I have been looking for this ball in every pet store. They are so hard to find. The only ball that my dog wants to play with are these spiky small balls. They last forever and are safe for all pets. Luckily I found this website and they had the ball I had been looking for so I ordered a lot.

I bought the SoPhresh XL sifting litter box to use this litter because it is best used as a sifting litter. I’ve watched lots of YouTube reviews on this particular litter and that is the consensus. It does clump but takes a little longer to firm up.

It does sometimes get stuck in the slots of the sifting ban but it’s an easy fix if you use a litter spade and not a square litter scoop. A litter spade is just a scoop shaped like a gardening spade – it pokes the litter right thru.

Also you’ll want to make sure you pour more into the litterbox to avoid litter clumping beneath the sifting pan. I can say though when that happens i just pat the bottom of the pan and it pops right off – it’s extremely non-stick which is nice.

I do sift twice when I clean the litter boxes and I love how easy it is to just wipe it clean. I started using this litter with two other litter boxes that were smelly and needed to be washed and once I set the Naturally Fresh litter out with the other boxes it eliminated ALL the odors from the the old clay litter without me even scooping or cleaning those boxes first!!! I have since bought another new sifting box and bag of this litter.

I do still give my cats the option to use the clay litter just to give them transition time. There is minimal dust when sifting. They do kick it out of the litter box but I just bought a giant $12 indoor/outdoor rug that brown so you can see it and then just vacuum whenever I sift.

I love this litter!.

I’ve been on a journey to find a natural litter, that clumps well and has good odor control and low to zero dust. This litter is NOT that, the only good thing I like is it has pretty decent odor control so far.

I usually wait a while to make reviews but after using this litter for less than a week, it just isn’t it. I don’t want people wasting their money expecting a spectacular product. The clumps fall apart very easily so it’s impossible to fully clan the litter box because there will still be small clumps that fall through the litter scoop.

The worst part of this litter is how dusty it is you have to shake the scoop very gently or you’ll create a plume of red dust. Overall this is a very poorly performing cat litter that isn’t worth the price, I really wanted to like the litter as it is a great concept I just wish it clumped better and was dusty.

Perhaps some people can get over that but I feel the average cat owner can’t. I can’t imagine this being a good litter for multi-cat households that’s litter system is all in one room that room will be covered in red dust.

I’ve used a few different cheap clay litters and tried the abound grass seed litter as well. After trying this walnut litter I don’t understand how anyone could use it. It emits SO MUCH DUST it’s ridiculous.

Every time I scoop it I can SEE the dust cloud coming up and it actually makes it hard for me to breath. The smell of this powder is really repellent and I can imagine it must be very uncomfortable for my cats to use for the same reason.

It’s also very rough and chunky, I feel like that makes it even more uncomfortable. The cats started going on the sides of the litter box occasionally, I think because they don’t like this litter. Also, the clumps fall apart way too easily.

I end up taking forever to clean the litter box because as I’m scooping, the clumps go to pieces. It also tends to get stuck to the side of the box. Tracking is medium to bad. All around this is the worst litter I’ve tried.

I bought this for an energetic puppy who ate too fast for even slow feeder bowls. Now mealtime is a fun activity that burns off excess energy, keeps her mind engaged, buys us time for our own meal prep, and ensures she eats at a healthy and safe speed.

When I dogsat a senior dog with much less energy, she loved this too. It was very cute to see her excited and jumping around while we filled it with her food. We only put half her meal in the ball, and the second half in a bowl for after, because a whole meal from the ball seemed to be too much exertion for her.

She also enjoyed playing with the ball outside of mealtime. This worked for both small puppy kibble (about the width of a sequin) and with larger adult kibble (about the size of a quarter). The only negatives are the ball appeared used when it was delivered, with dirt and smudges.

I chalked it up to getting tossed around during delivery, and after washing it only showed a little bit of wear. And the kibble opening is too small to simply use your hands to fill, but that’s not a big deal and we made a makeshift funnel that works just fine.

I only wash it by hand so I can’t speak to it’s durability in a dishwasher, but it washes easily and holds up well to use. If you are on the fence about whether to buy this, I recommend you give it a go, as it worked so well for us.

We love this. I only use it as a slow feeder, and my dog loves knocking this thing around. I like that it doesn’t get him overly excited like some other big slow feeders do. It releases kibble at a good rate and gets him moving about.

Plus, it’s quiet. My only complaint is it can be hard to load (I spoon kibble into the slot), but I could probably find a funnel and use the holes instead. I always take it away as soon as he’s done, so he’s had very minimal play with it.

It’s a good thick rubber, but I don’t think it would withstand an actual chew session. I use a rubber brush to clean the inside.

Well, let me just tell you my dog LOVES treat dispensing toys, but the Kong saucer thing and other ones we have are a hard plastic, that completely gets covered in dog hair and if other dogs come over and try to use it, or if my roommate’s dog tries to use it, they just chew it up and ruin the toy.

They also are really loud; my dog will pick it up and DROP that sucker and in the middle of the night it has me flying out of bed in fear. lol. Bummer. So I decided to finally get this guy. HOLY COW! Best of both worlds- it’s big enough that it won’t slip under bookcases, couches, and my coffee table, it’s QUIET!!!!, and it can’t break! My roommate’s dog is a big dog and he chomps this thing like it’s going out of style.

I put in treats that are too big to actually come out along with smaller ones and it really keeps them interested for quite a while. My small golden can hold it in her mouth pretty comfortably. I can’t believe I’ve wasted my money on all of those hard plastic style treat dispenser toys.

This one is by far superior.

I had really high hopes for this toy. It feels super sturdy and still had the perfect amount of resistance for the dog that loves a little bounce in her chew. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a chew toy with that perfect combination.

Even though they don’t come apart, Kongs are just a smidge too hard (uninteresting) and everything with a little “bounce” comes apart immediately. Yep, it’s been about 10 minutes and most of the rounded ends are gone 🙁 I’m sure she’ll have fun with it for a few days.

I bought this squeaking chicken for my beagle. It was the right size for him. But less than 24 hours after receiving and playing with it in the yard, the squeaker popped inside the toy, and I was NOT able to fetch it out and re-insert it into the hole.

I told Wal-Mart is was defective. They kindly sent me out a replacement (took 9 business days, but kudos to wal-mart anyways for doing it!) and less then 36 hours later, same thing happened, the squeaker popped back inside the body of the chicken, and I was again not able to fetch it out to repair it.

It made a great squeak while it lasted, but it is NOT worth it. The squeaker is NOT secure and I can guarantee it WILL FAIL for you also. Save your money. Even the replacement was a FAIL. One the little plastic squeakie part is gone, you cannot fix it, even if it slips inside the body.

Very disappointing!.

Pastel color pallet and small size. Flexible and not stretchable. Squeaks. Hard use could expose squeaker to malfunction.

I actually bought this to use as a theatrical show prop. but my dog will use it when the chicken is not on stage! 🙂 It is make of high quality materials, is a great size and has a great sounding squeaker in it!.

This ball costs more than others but it’s totally worth it! It may not crackle, squeak or have fuzz 2 pull off but it has enough give that my 65lb tough chewer loves chewing on it + it bounces so chasing it around, pouncing on it & playing fetch outside r a blast 4 him.

Also it’s the only toy I’ve got him that’s lasted more than a few days. He’s had it almost 2 months &the ball looks just like it did the day we got it. There r a variety of sizes available for any size dog u own.

I definitely recommend this toy for every dog owner that loves to chew & chase balls! It’s worth the price! It will last & ur dog will love it!.

I decided to trust the reviewers, 89% of the folks recommended this and a large percentage of them stated they’d had at least one finicky eater. It was a good decision. My 5 year old female cat is the finicky eater that won’t touch anything beef and turns her nose up to most “gravy” claims.

Not the case with this gravy. This is thicker than usual gravy, consistent throughout in both coloring and texture. Dare I say it; I’m impressed with this cat food gravy. It’s not just clear, flavored gravy.

It’s better! Though the price is higher than I’d normally pay for wet canned food, it’s been a good investment as evidenced by the kitties’ approval. FYI, I find it easiest to just snip the top of the pouches, all the way across, with scissors to open them.

Even though there’s a small perforation for tearing, it doesn’t completely tear off for ease of pouring 100% of the contents out.

I agree with most of the other reviews. A cookie will fall right out of the large opening and your dog will eat up the treats in no time. I can recommend this ball for moderately strong chewers. It gives with medium to strong bite pressure due to the hollow design.

It’s about as strong as, say. a Baby Kong or a Senior Kong. Maybe not for the serious highest pressure monster chewer who can burn through anything. The small size has been perfect for my Bull Terrier who’s on the small side at 55lbs.

The whole ball almost fits in his mouth but cannot pass into the windpipe. A larger dog or a stronger chewer might do better with the large. Don’t take your eyes off of the dog no matter what size you get.

The material can be torn and swallowed just like a Kong that’s starting to unravel on top. Great for fetch as it has a little bounce and is good for toss because it’s on the light side. But not for cookies so much.
