20 Best Outfits For Short Ladies (2022 Updated)

Wow. Can’t believe I found this dress. I had purchased it from another retailer and lost most of my clothes in a recent move (moving van flooded). It works great on my body: 5’8, 175 lbs and purchased size 16.

I am apple shaped. This covers my knees and hides all other flaws. I removed the embellishment and wash on delicate, hang to dry.

This dress is very pretty and probably works best on a regular, not plus sized, woman. While all the layers hide tummy and backside issues, the overall look is too full. There is a small rhinestone bauble that is sewn on at the vee of the neckline, which is a nice touch, but the one on my dress was very lopsided.

I bought this dress to wear to a wedding and it was so comfortable and flattering. It ran a little small so I bought the next size up from what I normally wear so it was a little longer than shown on the model but that was fine with me because I prefer to cover my knees anyway.

Love the color. Neither piece is lined but that doesn’t seem to be a problem (and is possibly good given that you do not want this outfit to be too hot). Shorts fit good, neither tight nor too loose and the length is just about right for shorts.

Jacket is nicely tailored and although the sleeves are ruched, I still will probably roll them up a cuff or two. A few wrinkles right out of the packaging but I threw it in the dryer on steam fresh and that got most of the wrinkles out.

Have not worn it yet so am not sure how much it might or might not wrinkle while wearing or how it will wash up – but I’m looking forward to wearing this as a classy upgrade to just plain shorts! I’m 5’4″, 124 lbs.

I love this color! It’s like a highlighter. I’m 5’2, 106lbs. The XS is loose but it still looks cute. I most likely won’t wear the pieces together because it kind of looks like loose PJs. Separately though they add a nice pop of color to an outfit.

Comfortable. Fabric feels great. Good quality. Needed an office party outfit for “cocktail casual.” Lol! What is that? This seemed like a pretty good fit.

I really wanted to love this dress, that spot for the cut-out should be great on my shape and the other reviews were good. However the material did not feel great at all, it’s thin and feels cheap. Also, I got a size L since I normally wear a 10/12.

The top was too big and the skirt part was too blousy. Overall not a great fit, and I don’t recommend. Wish I could send back but bought it on final sale.

Honestly, seriously cute dress, that you can dress up dress down, no bra needed. Fit just as is. GET.IT.

I bought several dresses like this one and this is my favorite because its so soft. The material is really nice on my skin. Im in Florida in the summer heat and everything itches. I would buy it again.

True to size. Easy wash and wear. Soft fabric. I’ve washed several times and it keeps it shape and color. I’ve paired it with a cardigan or demin jacket on cooler days and just as is on hot days. Very versatile.

Love the way this shirt looks and feels. I have washed it a few times and the colors are still as vibrant as it was when I first put it on. I have received a lot of compliments when I am wearing this shirt.

The dress is very flattering and comfortable for a casual day or night outing. Simple pairing with long necklace and stilettos and you’re good for a night out and take those off and wear flat sandals and you’re ready for a summer day.

Looked great on my daughter! Fun and flirty dress. Shes 5 ft tall with a semi straight shape. While length was a bit too long in the back, the waist hit perfectly. Great dress! Unfortunately she didnt choose that for her senior semi formal.

Fabric is not satin. More like taffeta, needs a belt. Runs a li small. But I dressed it up a bit looks better

This set runs a bit small. The shorts are cut straight, which is slimming. The fabric is heavy and too warm for a Phoenix summer, but I expect it to last for a very long time. It makes a great pajama set because it has pockets and the fabric is soft.

I will order another set for pajamas, but will order a size larger.

The nice thick gage elastic in the waistband unfortunately isn’t sewn or tacked down to prevent it from flipping or folding onto itself. Definitely took a short cut in the manufacturing. After laundering only ONCE, the elastic has already twisted and flipped back onto itself inside the waistband (cold, gentle cycle).

I slipped these on a lazy Saturday while it’s 100 degrees outside. These are so soft and cool. I immediately went online to purchase more for myself and family members. To my surprise they were sold out.

5’5 230 & purchased the 1xl. I have thick thighs, big butt w/ hip dips and a mommy pouch. Baby this fit me perfectly! It accentuated everything everything it needed to & hid everything else it needed to.

I’m 5’9 189 lbs I got a XL for the 36DDD boobs. I think I could have gotten a large but didn’t want to take a chance in the tube top not fitting. Top fits good. Shorts are short waist was a title big so I took them in.

Had I gotten a large my butt cheeks would have been hanging out. My boobs may have hung out the tube top as well. I guess if you have extra money buy 2 sizes to get the best fit. The jacket is nice. And the material is flowing.

My moto is you can always take it in but you can’t let it out if it’s to small. And the return policy is wack! Who wants to deal with that all the time?.

This outfit is really nice. I got my normal size and I’m glad I did. The shorts fit perfect on me (hips 57in). The top fits me , but is very loose. I will have to bring the elastic in a bit so it does not come down.

If I would have went up a size it would have been too big for me and if I would have downsized the shorts would have not fit me. If the tube top had a better elastic it would have fit me perfect. For those that need to know this is see through.

wear the right color underwear or none if you prefer :).

This is very soft and true to size. There is adjustable waist band in shorts to fit the in between size. My granddaughter loves the rhinestone on the shorts.

I love the material and the length of the shorts which come right above knee cap perfect for any age especially older women who are more modest (66). I purchased all the colors they had last year about 6 or 7 colors.

They were back order on the purple/black which they do not have this year so I’m glad I ordered all the colors. I wear size 10/12 so I ordered size medium and they fit great top and bottom not too loose not too tight.

Outfit was too tight in the bust. I am just large busted. But I returned for a size larger. I loved the outfit. One thing I loved was the material – soft and wrinkle free. I can not wait to get my outfits.

Nice color. Capris fit well. Ad was a little deceptive, the striped insets only showed if unsnapped. The top was a little snug.

Fits perfectly. Snaps and fabric embellishments are cute. I like that it is cotton because it is very difficult to find clothing in stores that is not synthetic.

Shorts are a bit too tight on thighs, but quite free on waist, so it will not fit for everyone, I guess. Not transparent. The sweater is cute and all, but has a weird synthetic smell, which will go away soon hopefully.

Sweater is not sweatshirt material, more stiff and synthetic. This set is alright especially when in sale, but it will not be your favorite.

The jumper is thick and soft, however I did find the length a bit more cropped than expected – still wearable with the shorts being high waisted, just shorter than expected. I do have a longish torso though.

Leggings fit true to size and comfy. Very happy with this set for the sale price.

I got this in the sale and I’m super pleased. The jumper is lovely and soft on the inside. The leggings are quite thin so I think you need to wear big pants with them! I wouldn’t have paid full price for it though.

These are the summer PJs I’ve been looking for. The fabric breathes and doesn’t fry me. Since I sleep very warm, I can use them in the winter, also. It’s 100% cotton, almost impossible to find in a woven (not jersey) material in women’s pajamas these days.

Plus the print is cute. And they have pockets, both in the bottoms and the top. I sew and have resorted to making my own PJs in the past just to get the 100% cotton I love. But with the cost of material and time, the price on these competes very well with even making them on my own.

Also, I’m 5′ 2″ and the inseam length suits me fine, so as not to have to be hemmed so I won’t trip over any excess length. They exceeded my expectations by miles!.

I was delighted to discover that Petite Plume has women’s pajamas that match back to the to childrens styles. Someone had purchased this print in a nightgown for my daughter and I absolutely loved the print so I bought the matching set for myself.

This cute little dress is so flattering and easy to wear. It is easy to wash and doesn’t need ironing. I have two of them now the other one is blue. I think they would suit most body types and all ages.

This set. I don’t even know where to begin. Comfort level 10/10. Feel – so soft, silky and cozy 10/10. The ribbed detail is unique and the best part is that it doesn’t have an extreme stretch out (I typically avoid ribbed clothing for that reason but this one passes the test) I loved this so much that I immediately purchased a second set so I can rotate them with ease.

The bottoms are just shy of a high rise and the top (depending on your leg to torso ratio) for me landed right at the top of the waist band – so not too much tummy showing which makes this extra versatile for me.

The sweater is also perfect with sleeves that are just before the wrist so not too short, but not too long. The first time I wore it out I got so many compliments my head was spinning. I will wear this forever.

And will likely buy a third set as well. I purchased the black in small (5’6” 125lb small bust). I’m typically and XS so if you’re in between sizes I would size up. This is a staple that can go from home lounge to gallery opening with ease.

Quality of fabric and seams are good. However, the sizing for the pants are not. I hate the pants because the elastic is too small for the size of pants. The designer manufacturer needs to adjust the bands on the pants.

I am 5’3”, 118 lbs and first ordered the small and too tight in the waistband. I exchanged it for a medium and they still cut into my side. My measurements are 37/26/36. I have a small waist. Fix the bands on the pants and you will have a perfect 5 star tri-set outfit.

The cardigan and top are perfect! But now I don’t have a polished set like I was hoping for.

I am a plus size gal, and I was searching for a comfortable almost loungewear set. Nice enough to go out in, but comfortable enough to lay on the sofa in. This absolutely fits the bill — and fits me! I was a little bit doubtful when I saw that the top was a crop, but the crop is not super high so I am comfortable and confident wearing it.

I really like this dress! It’s great for work or for just a casual weekend day. The fabric is really nice, good quality. It’s not quite like t-shirt fabric. There’s a little more thickness and a tighter weave to it.

I can’t describe it but I guess it’s because of the linen blend. It fits great and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It’s breathable. I’m not crazy about the tie on both sides of the dress. I don’t know why but that bugs me and I could do without it.

But other than that, the dress is super cute! I would definitely buy one without the little side ties if they had one. I got the sage green color and it’s so beautiful.

I wore the oatmeal color one on a hot day shortly after I dyed my hair bright purple, after a bit I noticed that when I sweat some dye leaked onto the collar of my dress! I washed it, thinking that I was going to keep it just for maybe a cover-up.
