20 Best Oven For Home Baking (2022 Updated)

We are in love with this rotisserie oven! It’s gorgeous. It’s big but very lightweight. It was easy to use. I did however wish the instruction booklet explained the best way to use the spit and fork.

It was my first time using a rotisserie spit and fork so I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos on how to do it. The rotisserie chicken came out fabulous. The skin was crisp and the chicken stayed moist.

I made a whole duck on the rotisserie as well that came out superb. This is a worthwhile investment.

I love love this oven!!! When I got it I couldn’t wait to try it out I immediately started using it with a rotisserie chicken I love that I can do that with this oven. The chicken cane out perfect nice and juicy and flavorful.

I cooked pizza also and the pizza came out perfect nice and crunchy and delicious. The oven is nice and roomy with racks so you can make 2 different things at once. I love the look of it and the double doors I just live everything about this oven.

I highly highly recommend it.

My old microwave had conked out, and I was looking for something with a stainless steel finish. We have a pretty old and small, farmhouse kitchen, so I have to be pretty thoughtful about what I add and how much space it takes up.

I then thought, do I really need a microwave? Can I just warm up food the old fashioned way? And I wanted something that had great design and easy to clean. An appliance that would look good for a very long time.

I searched everywhere online and just couldn’t find anything at a good price, until I landed on Crate & Barrel’s page (why didn’t I try C&B FIRST?) This Cuisinart Toaster Oven Broiler absolutely fit the bill! And it came quickly! But.

then I changed my mind, and decided to get a microwave after all (now THAT took forever, going back down the rabbit hole! The C&B microwaves were beautiful, but above my price point, unfortunately). Returning the microwave was a BREEZE and my refund for the amount was posted to my account almost immediately.

I purchased this a month ago to replace a Cuisineart that I’ve had for 10 years +. This is the exact replacement by Cuisinart so easy to compare. This toaster oven is much lighter than the old one which I translate into a “flimsier” product.

The heating elements are covered with perforated metal to protect them which I consider a plus. The toast settings are very accurate as to dark/medium/ light and toast is done quickly. My old oven had a convection fan to speed up baking – the new one does not.

Also, the old oven had a timer and the new one does not – a definite and major negative. You have to set a separate timer to remind when to shut off the oven. So, this is a reasonable replacement for my old toaster but not so much as an oven or broiler.

If that is your primary use for this device then I suggest you spend more for an upscale model. If you want to toast bread and only occasionally bake or broil this product is good enough for the price.

Lack of preheat and cook time function makes it a poor choice. Unit is reasonable quality and seems to cook okay as long as you stare at it to ensure it doesnt cook too long. You dont realize how important cooking time is until you want to do something else while using it.

I often have items that call for 20-30 mins. Well now i cant do anything else lest i miss turning it off and burning food. Its also hard to cook most things properly because the instructions call for preheating.

Using it is frustrating and a waste of my time. My wife got me this as a gift but didnt pay attention to features we assumed that are so basic as to be on every new model of every brand. Used it for a week and even called their support line.

They dont know anything. They have to read the same manual i have. Asking them how a feature works is pointless. They have never seen or used it. After that i just gave up and bought a different oven from another brand.

Now i have two. My wife regrets buying this online. She couldnt see in detail what features it had. Bottom line: Hard Pass.

This cooker is amazing. It can cook two 16″ pizzas at a time. Just have to spin them around at half the time because the door leaks. This can be fixed with a little foil. Just put foil around the door to help the oven work better because glass does not hold heat as good as foil.

Use freezer foil because it is thicker. I saw someone said it was on fire and smoking. This oven is amazing but does not self clean. If you let it drip food on the bottom and touch the very hot heater coil and just lie and say it just was on fire well maybe you should not cook because you do not know how to clean up after your self.

I have has this cooker for over 5 years and it works very well and amazing. I cook pizzas seral times a year for friends and family. The broil is also good for a crisp finish on food that is cooked or when people want food heated up to eat.

Just clean the bottom part where the heater coil is. Food stuck on the coil can start a fire because oil is flammable and will smoke. The element will not smoke if kept clean. I put foil above the coil on an empty rack when using the upper rack.

This makes cleaning easy if something drips or falls. Just use some critical thinking and plan meals and clean up after and please all be safe. The oven does get very hot because 400 degrees is very very hot.

I have the older verson of this Oster convection oven that has knobs instead of push buttons. It still works perfect even after 6 years. I wanted a newer verson, which preheats even to 400 degrees in 6 min.

Plus this newer verson has a lite in the oven. I have baked biscuits in it, cornbread, cherry pie, and tonight a lemon bunt cake. All came out perfect! The large Oster convection is not too large but is large enough to cook anything I want.

I have not used my large gas range oven but 1 time in 6 years. I am sold on Oster Ovens. The temperture is right on, and you don’t hear the convection fan at all. I use convection bake on everything, including pizza.

You won’t go wrong with this Oster convection oven.

I have now had three of the Oster XL toaster ovens. I love the size and use it practically every day. The old model used a mechanical timer, temperature, and mode (toast, bake, convection bake, broil) selection knobs.

The timer was the weakest part of the unit but was preferable to the new electronic controls. The temperature and mode selection knob stayed on the selection last used, so to turn on all I had to do was turn the timer knob past 20 minutes then to the time desired and it was heating up.

It was already set to the last temperature used and usually in the convection bake mode. Now I must reset time, temperature and mode with at least 3 punches of buttons that do not give much in the way of confirmation they are activated and to get the right temp I could be punching buttons numerous times.

I know this sounds petty but the engineers who designed this unit have NEVER used it. They tried to make it all electronic and succeeded but at the expense of convenience and simplicity. I have been asked several times by my two daughters (15 & 18) can we just fix the old one, it was much better.

We just moved in to a new house and thought we had 3-4 months with the current oven before the kitchen remodel. Well, the oven died so we needed something versatile to cook meals for the family till the reno and this is perfect! Love that it has more than just 1 function since we are tight on space.

Great product for small spaces.

We research for a year for an air fryer/convection oven. There are many good brands to choose from. We are glad we chose MegaChef. This oven is quiet and not overly hot even when air fryer function is used.

We have it for 1 month and happy with the purchase so far.

it cooks well and has all the features we wanted in a combo air fryer/toaster oven but the instructions and display are not intuitive and take a lot of getting used to. for example you would think a flashing light means cooking is paused but no it means cooking.

I hope in time I will get the hang of it but improving the operations will get this to five stars (and maybe make it a little less tall please!).

I have used many Nuwave products over the last 25 years. The Primo over replaces one of the original Nuwave ovens that I have used for many years as my main oven for grilling/broiling chicken, reheating pizza, cooking turkeys for Thanksgiving/Christmas.

My old oven still works and will still be used. I bought the Primo oven because it is the latest technology and includes a temperature probe and a heated grill on the bottom. I was shocked when I first used the Primo to cook chicken breasts because the bottom heated grill made a huge difference in the taste of the chicken.

The temperature probe also ensures the meat is cooked to perfection. I will soon be using it to grill NY strip steaks and I will bet they will be great also! I did used the Primo grill over Christmas this year to cook my turkey breast, using the temperature probe, and everything worked perfectly and the turkey was perfect.

I buy Nuwave products for their quality and ease of use – and I have never been disappointed!.

My Husband bought this for Christmas 3 years ago for me because we tell each other what we like on a little list of course , and he got this for me. Us both working full time and forgetting several times to “lay something out” it has been my “go to” for the only thing I cook with so many things of!! It will cook even frozen foods to a perfect juicy chicken or steak and I even topped with mushrooms on the last of the time and hit the so many seconds to cook and Viola ! Even bakes potatoes or excellent twice baked potatoes ! Super fast and healthy meals for your family and less expensive then swinging by and grabbing fast food! I’m not spending all day on my feet and all night on my feet cooking in the kitchen anymore.

Nor a big clean up at all! Very easy clean ! Try it , you can always return if you do not like it , but I’m sure You will be so satisfied and happy you purchased it ! Happy grilling !.

I am really liking this very much, a little bigger than my Breville Countertop Oven (had that for 4. 5 years, convection fan stopped working recently). I really liked how the Breville cooked evenly and quick, but it was pricey, so I decided on this oven in hopes that it would be as good.

So far, I have made a bundt cake in about 35 min per box mix instructions, came out great; it used to take my regular oven 55 min for a bundt cake. Feeling good about that. Toasts great. I use the bake function for most things like frozen meatballs, fries, fish sticks.

All come out good. I am keeping a journal on how long things take and temp settings, etc. I read so many reviews for many different ovens in my search for a replacement for my Breville, and decided on this one.

The negatives that I was concerned about, oven door gets really hot, a little gap in the door closure (no heat/steam escaping that effects anything that I noticed), runs hotter than other ovens (I was concerned about burning stuff, but I was cautious the first time using to make sure I didn’t overcook anything, using lower temp to make sure, found out that wasn’t necessary).

Overall, I think this was a smart choice for my needs. It is easy to clean, as long as you clean it when it cools down, don’t let stuff build up. Advice is to keep journal on cooking things to get used to how it works.

I wish the timer counted down below a minute, kinda was used to that with the Breville, but not a deal breaker, it is just what you get used to I suppose. I pull it out a little from under my cabinets so the cabinet doesn’t get too hot, not a big deal.

I like that it does fit a 9 x 13 pan (no handles) which comes included, not with high sides, it is the shallow tray pan. Oh, almost forgot, the convection fans are super quiet, you almost wonder if they are on.

The convection fan for the Breville was noisy, so you know that was going on. Totally worth the price, got at Bed Bath and Beyond, used coupon, bought online, beat out Amazon price. Hope this helps people in their decision.

We tried two of these, due to finding this model on a couple of recommended lists. The first one did not heat to the desired temperature, sometimes as much as 75 degrees too low (used an oven thermometer to check because when set to 400 it just did not seem to be hot).

so, returned that but figured it might be just a lemon so ordered another of the same. This time the temperature was better, though still randomly above or below by 25 degrees or so. We know toaster ovens are not known for having good temperature control so considered keeping it anyway but then noticed the door was warped a bit on one side causing a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap where the heat would be escaping.

Also the door handle was loose and jiggly on one side, starting to hang off of the door. So, returned this one too and decided to go up a level and buy the Breville BOV845. More expensive for sure but it holds the correct temperature and is built well (great heavy duty door handle) and user friendly.

Who knows if this will last but we are really really happy with it. I gave it 2 stars because the design seemed good, compact, would be okay if you didn’t mind fidgeting each time with the temperature.

Also it had a 3 year waranty which i guess it needs! Bed Bath and Beyond took our returns with no question.

This is a very good unit for its purpose. We chose the Cuisinart over a comparable Breville model because the latter uses PTFE/PFOA non-stick coatings. When heated to high temps, these coatings give off odorless gases that are possibly cancer causing to humans and known to cause rapid death in companion birds.

With that said, the Cuisinart performs extremely well in all functions. The convection fan is quiet and really makes a difference. Our only complaint is the function dial which is flimsy and cheaply made vs.

the Breville function dial. Also the “done cooking” bell/ringer is barely audible. Our older smaller Cuisinart ringer was very audible. At it’s high price point, Cuisinart can do better with the aforementioned shortcomings.

Otherwise, this is a five star product. As for those who say the exterior gets hot, what appliance like this doesn’t? The product Includes several well-made trays and a pizza stone. It also has a useful.

It is not our first HB appliance. So far, always have been very pleased with their durability and quality. This one is no exception. We bought it especially for the rotisserie. Cooked a large chicken, uniform grilling, nice colour, tender meat.

Surprisingly, the back and sides stayed clean, no splashing. Cakes came out very nice too. Convection works well. The only negative point is the lack of interior light and the door gets very hot. Have to be careful.

Would also be nice to have a rotating mesh basket for fries, we have ordered one from a third party.

If you’re looking for an extra large oven that can cook chicken and pizza and 12 cupcakes at the same time this is the conventional rotisserie air fryer for you. I would buy the extended warranty due to the fact that the mechanism that is inside of the machine that lights up the coils the glass coils burns out and melts I had one already for a year-and-a-half and it melted it we took it apart and this item is made in China the little device that’s inside of it to turn on the coils to make it light up and work so I can heat up that one is made cheaply other than that this whole cooking oven is perfect.

I would suggest to the company please have replacement parts so we can fix them because I still currently have my other oven sitting in my garage and all I’m missing is inside the machine to light up the coils to ignite it and it won’t work anymore so I have a perfectly good machine collecting dust.

But I suggest with all their devices by extended warranties.

I waited to review this Oster countertop convection oven until I used it for awhile. I purchased this same model years ago and it was my kitchen workhorse — versatile, dependable, able to cook an entire meal in it.

I used it nearly every day and had no issues with it. In fact, when I recently bought the new one from Wayfair my old Oster countertop convection oven still worked just fine. The new oven arrived in excellent condition.

After using it for awhile I do have my doubts that it will last as long as my old one. This one makes odd noises every now and then, but still seems to work ok. So, we shall see if it lasts. One thing I did notice is my old Oster countertop convection oven came with a 5 year warranty, but the newer version I recently purchased now only has a 1 year warranty.

That gives me pause. However, I do recommend this Oster countertop convection oven.

I have found this to be a very handy household item, and it has really helped me to cut down on using my full size oven! The convection feature works nicely, and even basic, store bought cookie dough sets quickly and results in thick, chewy cookies with nicely crisped edges.

Having a built in timer allows my son to use the oven to heat things up without worrying he will forget to turn off the oven, which is a huge relief. That said, it is far from perfect. These are the things that could use improvement on a future model: 1.

The oven door needs some sort of spring action. It slams open too easily and too far and I’m always afraid it will break when it hits the edge of the counter. I’ve noticed some other reviewers have actually had it break.

2. It never quite reaches the max temperature of 450. The hottest it actually measures even after a long preheat period is 400. Maybe this is just a defect in my machine and I should have sent it in under warranty? Most of what I cook only has to reach 350, however, so it has done the trick for me.

The one exception is frozen, fried foods like french fries or chicken nuggets which really need that higher heat. They never get crispy enough, so I have to use the big oven. 3. The rotisserie spit has forks that are way too small! It is almost impossible to properly balance even a small chicken because the tines of the spit forks are so close together that they don’t get a good “bite” into the meaty portions of the chicken.

I often have to do some serious modifications to use the rotisserie, but once I get it working, it is definitely delicious!.

I always use the convection setting no matter what I’m making there. Had it for about a year now and it worked great. I make a lot of frozen pizzas in there but lately the bottom heating grids weren’t lighting up like the top two does.

There’s two grids on top and two on the bottom. So I always end up with a uncooked crust on the bottom of the pizza. And the top is over baked! Who likes burnt cheese? When you use a convection oven you should put it 25° lower than what instructions say for Frozen items.

That’s what I always did. But I was happy to have it last a full year before it started going. And because of the fact that I always use the convection setting it was hard for me to turn the dial to other settings it was like stuck on convection! I just make sure I get a different brand next time.

Very nice size…. no need to heat up the entire kitchen. Outside gets warm but not hot hot. My handle did not get hot as some report. And I used glass loaf pan to make bread loaves. Cooks beautifully even.

I also bought Walmart 9×13 cake pans with no handles to fit in it for cooking lasagna. Just tapped outside corners of pans with a rubber mallet, gently, tap once each corner of cake pan, to fit perfectly in oven from now on, as pan corners prevented sliding them in oven easily.

Love this toaster oven. We have been cooking everything in it and I am so glad that I shopped around and got this bigger sized one so that we could fit casserole dishes into it. Almost half of the casserole dishes I have fit into just fine (the ones with large handles don’t fit, but anything with shorter handles fits fine).

We’ve cooked large frozen pizzas of various brands (dominos, Sam’s choice, Red Baron, etc. ) and even a small turkey (7-8lbs)! Pros: 1. Extra Large and fits 9×13 casserole dishes with small/no handles.

Fits Large Frozen Pizzas. 2. Heats up quickly and cooks things evenly. Temperature is accurate so far. I don’t normally use a cooking thermometer, but when I have, everything has been correct. 3. Lots of different functions/uses 4.

Comes with two racks, a tray, and rotisserie stick 5. A bit more expensive than other options, but because of the large size and functionality I think the price is well worth it. Cons: 1. I wish the dials were digital (timer and temperature) Although it’s not hard to read, I feel like it isn’t as precise as it could be with the time since it’s so small.

It’s easy to be off /-minute if the time is not one of the numbers listed. Not a huge deal.

This is a great price for a little cooker but I was unhappy with it. it made my kitchen just as hot or almost just as hot as my oven and the rotisserie tools are a cheap joke. reminds me of if an easy bake oven had the rotisserie function.

lol. the parts work but they are made so cheaply that they easily bend justvusing your fingers and have to be tightly anchored to the chicken on both sides and parts are a bad design making it difficult.

parts gets bent a lot. they don’t seem like they would last long. I was extremely impressed with the taste of the rotisserie chicken. it wasn’t as good as Kroger’s seasoning but was surprisingly super moist, flavorful, and tasty.

It’s a step above for sure but I didn’t want to keep it because I knew I’d only be able to do it maybe 20 times and the tools would no longer function properly or at all. Very disappointed about having to return it.

Also all the grease didn’t go in the drip pan making a big mess but was worth the work but not worth keeping parts that will render useless after a small amount of uses.

I got a promotion of free induction cookware for purchasing this cook top. And here is my honest review of this product. First of all, this cooktop provides great speed while cooking. I personally make lots of Korean food and we use lots of spice and boiling.

I have had no problem of overcooking or burning my marinated foods. The temperature stays precisive and it also turns off quickly to cool off if the temperature is too hot. So far, I’ve been enjoying this cooktop for cooking.

Aesthetically, my wife loves this color so I had to give up on this one for her. I am not a big fan of the color, but other than that, the cooktop looks modern, simple and elegant. It sure feels and looks like it’s made with quality materials.

The touch screen is very responsive, which also means it is very sensitive. Even just a wipe down with cloth to take grease off, the touch screen responds. It is kind of annoying when you just want to clean after cooking.

The buttons are pressed easily, so sometimes you may turn on the oven or oven lights. There is a lock feature, but I just wish Samsung made the touch screen a bit more responsive for fingers like phone screens.

Overall, enjoying cooking on this thing! I recommend to check it out!.

We are extremely pleased with this range. It replaced our 17 year old KitchenAid range which had very good fit and finish. We were underwhelmed by the quality of most of ranges currently on the market – cheap components, thin stainless veneers, etc.

We wanted something that would not only be functional but not look worn out after a few years. This Samsung met our requirements – notice the glass panel behind the knobs – easy to clean, keeps the stainless from getting scratched, etc.

Also, compare the design to other brands where there is a lot of sensitive-to-scratching stainless finish around the cooktop where pots and pans can take their toll (denting, scratching, etc. ), not to mention around the knobs.

The range looks very modern and the touch panel is easy to use once you understand how to navigate the features. We’ve had it for about a month without any issues, the burners heat quickly and despite comments about this and other ranges, the cooktop surface shows no signs of wear or scratching (though we only use the pot/pan types recommended in the documents provided).

We use a common cream-type cooktop cleaner with paper towels, which keeps it looking like new. There is an exhaust fan that comes on during oven use and stays on for a while afterwards – this is a good thing as it keeps the electronics from failing (something that happened more than a few times in our previous range).

Haven’t used the air fryer and don’t care about the Wi-Fi feature. Haven’t really put the oven through it’s paces but from limited use it seems to do what it is supposed to do – heat quickly and hold temperature.

The only quibble (and based on our observations it’s worse on most other makes) is that the knobs, while nice looking, are somewhat lightweight plastic with a stainless-like finish. The finish tends to absorb oils a bit, but they do clean easily with mild soap like window cleaner products.

Overall very pleased and expect to get many years of service from this range.

Positives: Nice look. Works very well. Both the stove top and the oven heat evenly. Negatives: Depth of the interior oven slightly smaller than my old stove. The turkey pan just fits. Probably due to the air fryer mechanism on the back wall.

The touch pad is extremely sensitive, if you barely touch it it pops on. The oven has a fan that stays on after you turn oven off so if you don’t want to deal with the noise, you have to open the door until it cools, then shut the door or you will have to listen to the fan for about 10 minutes.

The drawer height is not as high as my old either, so extra pot covers are in a box in a closet, but again, probably due to the space the air fryer needs. Finally, if you have a utensil drawer that might hit the stove handle, you will also have that problem with the knobs.

They are angled and stick out farther than the stove top itself. All in all a nice look and works well.

We have used this model oven for 7 months. 1. ) To our dislike, the oven came without a self clean mode, (instructions show the option of self clean mode) A steam clean mode is only clean selection, very dissatisfied with steam clean mode.

You must remove grease and other particles before placing in steam mode using a cup of water, no chemicals allowed. I found the steam mode did nothing to clean the sides or bottom, just a puddle of water remained in the bottom.

Therefore, you are on your hands and knees to clean by hand, select the steam clean mode for 30 minutes, and finally you are on your hands and knees to wipe out the water. 2. ) My wife is unhappy with the stove top surface, cleaning it and there are several lines under the surface which resemble a crack but no crack is apparent in the surface.

However, cooking on the stove top is not affected by what resembles cracks. 3. ) I have found the convection option tends to dry out meats and muffins. 4. ) I have not tried the oven fry mode. 5. ) Another feature my wife does not like is only one clock / timer.

Yes, you may set cooking times for both ovens and the timer will shut the ovens off at the set time, wife likes a timer per oven. 6. ) To my responsibility, I did not take enough time to evaluate the options.

Our other oven died after 20 years and I made a quick decision to purchase. 7. ) So far the cooking options cover anything you want to cook, efficiently. 8. ) The stove top selection for different size pots is great and the warming selection helps when there is company.

9. ) Overall, quality of cooking you receive is good and temperatures are constant. 10. ) Maybe these things do not bother others who purchased this unit. For my wife and I, we will not purchase this unit again.

When I first received this range about a month ago, I did a test of the ovens. The upper oven came to 350 temp in 6 minutes, the lower just over 7. They both alarmed at just under 350, but the temp did rise after a minute or two, and they stayed consistent at 350(I used an oven temp gauge I placed on the racks).

To be honest, I really wanted hidden bake elements, but I “compromised” because this range had all the other features that were important to me, including burner placement. But I think exposed elements help in quick preheat, and accurate oven temp.

So no issues. The burners on the range are spaced nicely and not jammed toward the center of the cooktop like some other double oven ranges I priced. The first time I made pasta, I forgot to watch the pot and lower the burner temp; of course it boiled over, and left that burnt pasta water ring, but it cleaned nicely with the cooktop cleaner/polish.

Next I baked a banana bread in the upper oven. It browned evenly, and cooked through evenly. We toast in the upper oven, and it does a great job. Next I roasted some pork tenderloins 2lbs & 1lb, in the lower oven using convection roast.

At 425 they were evenly browned, no hot spots that I could detect, and were done in 25 minutes. I roasted baby carrots at the same time in a rack above the tenderloins, and they cooked evenly too. I roasted potatoes in the upper oven at the same time.

Again, evenly roasted. All the burners work great. However, I did notice that the large front right burner has a difficult time with a simmer. It runs a tad too hot for my comfort, but I just keep an eye on it and remove the pot if I feel it’s too hot.

I’ve owned a Maytag double Oven, an LG , and now this GE. I didn’t think any would beat my LG, but so far, this GE is out in front. I love that it keeps an accurate, constant temp in both ovens, even when they’re both in use.

I don’t detect any hot spots in the convection, and the burners all heat evenly. I like the knobs over digital burner temp. And I love that all the buttons are very responsive, no need to push hard, only a gentle press is required.

I even like the red display, and the alarm sounds. Overall, this range is performing better than I expected. I would definitely recommend.

Overall I’m pretty disappointed with this product. I’ve wanted a double oven for a long time and tried to make a really informed decision when purchasing this one. We paid a premium price expecting a premium product, and honestly this is no better (and in the case of the broiler is worse) than my old, very base model oven that I hated.

The broiler is the biggest issue – in both ovens (but more so the upper oven) it doesn’t create the “crust” on the food that it should. It’s as if it’s not nearly hot enough, and this is using the “Hi” setting.

The lower oven broiler is a little better, but still not great. Also, within the first week of using the oven, we received an error code and it shut itself off, apparently because it overheated. I had a 450 temp on the upper oven and a broil on the lower oven.

The broiler was only on 10 min and the upper oven had been on at 450 for about 30 min. Maybe I’m wrong here, but I feel like a DOUBLE OVEN should be able to achieve high temps in both without overheating and turning off! Isn’t that the whole point of having a double oven – being able to use both at the same time? I guess I’d never be able to use both broilers at one time.

Just so disappointed, and wish I could return the thing. At least my old crappy oven could broil and the price was reflective of the performance. I can’t say the same for this one – super average if not below.

With our new kitchen. upgrading from an existing 80’s. YES 80’s kitchen with a circa 1980 Gen-Aire I decided to splurge and upgrade to gas and a higher end oven/stove. Research pointed me to this model.

It had the simmer burner, grill top, convection, double oven and some other features I wanted. It really delivers too. We mostly use the upper smaller oven for day to day and lower for bigger dinners with meats or multiple dishes.

I think I cooked the best turkey ever with the probe feature which is WAY beyond cool that it tells you when that inner temp is hit. It did take getting used to because gas burners can run so hot even on low but I am getting there.

You definitely need to watch the handles because of how easily the temp convects. But, I LOVE it. I love trying new recipes and using the features. It’s so easy to clean too. far cry from what I had.

My only complaint is the probe is flimsily made. I used the original twice and the tip broke off in the oven. I was so careful pulling it out because it seemed pretty delicate to start. But, I am on a second request for one within the first year purchased.

The one sent broke after the second use also. I hope this is something they will address or I am going to have to invest in a Meater thermometer which doesn’t seem fair considering the cost of the whole unit and this being an included feature.

Hope they address this.

When we purchased our new home in 2016, I wanted a GE – I’d previously had one in WI that I loved – so bad but a dual fuel, double oven would not be available in time for our move-in. I settled for a different brand and it was a HUGE mistake.

Finally, after 16 service calls and numerous let-downs at critical times, my husband surprised with my first choice. I love this range! I probably won’t use the Smart features but everything else is wonderful! I downloaded the manual and have been referring to it religiously as I learn to maximize it’s use.

My only wish would be that the lower oven wasn’t quite so close to the ground. I am a senior and find it difficult to bend down that low to retrieve items from the bottom rack position. Love the edge to edge burners.

Bought the grill and have already used it several times. Broiler works great. I purchased this online because I knew what I wanted and had the SKU. Also note that it is supposed to be finger print resistant but it really isn’t any more or less resistant than other stainless.

So far I really like this gas range! I purchased it because of the large oven capacity and easy clean features. I haven’t done any massive heavy duty cooking yet but all the meals I’ve made so far have cooked well and been easy to clean up.

I also haven’t used the wifi connectivity yet but that wasn’t super important for me. The oven itself is very different than my last one as it heats up from the back and pushes the air around which is great, but getting used to it.

I feel like the oven takes a bit to heat up (probably because it is so large) which if you’re just heating up pizza or chicken fingers can be frustrating but I’ll take that trade off for the size! I love the blue interior.

And love that I have been able to just wipe the oven and stovetop down when I made a greasy mess, I haven’t had to use either cleaning features yet (we’ll see how that goes). I love the 22K burner – it boiled a huge pot of water relatively fast! My negatives so far – you have to turn the oven knob on then off to get the timer/panel to come on (not a big deal but I wish you could just tap on the panel) the timer plays a happy little song though when done! Also the broiler shuts off with door open (which is a good safety feature) though I like sometimes to flip things around and keep an eye on what I’m broiling with the door open (not a dealbreaker).

Then the top grates have scratched the stovetop slightly though I haven’t moved them around much except to clean. You can’t see the scratches really when the grates are on so doesn’t bother me yet but it seems the top may scratch easily which over time would be worrisome.

Overall I feel like this range was a great purchase however I’m still new to it and learning all the different cooking features. So far so good though and I would highly recommend at this point!.

We purchased this model because a window in the kitchen of our new home wouldn’t let us use a range with controls at the back. The first reason we are disappointed is how easy it is to bump the front controls and turn something on accidently.

I recognize the range can lock out the controls, but it is awkward at best. The biggest disappointment is that the oven temperature is very inconsistent with the temperature selected. At 350 degrees, the actual temperature was about 360.

At 375 degrees, the actual temperature was about 410 degrees. Finally, at 400 degrees, the temperature was about 430. We had LG work on the range and as a result, they replaced the thermometer probe and the main board.

The new components didn’t resolve the problem and the repairman used the temperature adjustment feature to set the temperature 30 degrees below the selected temperature. The repairman’s explanation was the oven was designed to work in convection mode and that using the regular bake mode caused the erratic temperature issue.

The convection oven isn’t the right solution in the case of bread, cakes, and several other items. The solution to the erratic temperatures is that my wife has a chart of the selected temperature and the actual temperature to keep from over or undercooking items which is another poor solution to what should work in regular or convection mode.

This stove is a replacement for the one I paid for at Lowes last year. I did not take delivery last year since I’m was still building and didn’t have a kitchen yet. When I returned this April the stove I ordered last year wasn’t available so I had them order this model and took delivery several weeks ago once Lowe’s located one for me.

Most of the homes here in Maine don’t have natural gas which these stoves are set up for. I received the stove and a jet kit to accommodate the liquid propane most stoves run on here. To replace the jets requires taking the stove apart and some minor tools to the job.

Long story short the replace jets included did not fit the stove. The jets for the oven and broiler had the opposite male to female threads that are required. Lowe’s pro desk passed me on to LG and I asked to have the proper jet kit expidented to me.

Instead of overnighting it to me as promised I received the jet kit in about ten days. I had to replace to new jets for the wrong one and even though this jet kit is suppose to be for this models LSGK6335F, the broiler jet is still wrong and not compatible with this stove.

I’ve had to replace two sets of jets and the broiler jet is still the wrong size. I called LG and they referred me back to Lowe’s pro desk and I’m still waiting to receive a call from LG’s field representative.

It does feel a bit like a run around but, hopefully this issues will be resolved shortly. The stove look great and has a neat vibrant cool blue color inside the oven. How the stove works I can’t say for sure since I still can’t use it.

I have only been using this range for about three weeks and have been quite satisfied with how it performs. Getting it right before theChristmas cooking and baking season made me a bit concerned that I might have problems learning how it works best for my usual recipes and cooking style.

I needn’t have worried as I figured out how to use its features to my best advantage. The Pro-bake convection oven works great and provides a very even and fast baking for breads, pies and cassaroles (what we have made in it since it arrived).

The Easy Clean function works well, too. The knock-on-the glass to view the oven contents has worked well. We have not used the air fryer function yet so still have to figure that out. We have only used the two front burners and the warming spot on the range top and all work well.

It has taken a little experimentation to determine the best settings for the two burners that have different heating options. We are getting the hang of it and have had no problems. I had read reviews that the glass surface was hard to keep clean, but we have followed the recommendation and clean the surface regularly as well as when it specifically needs it with a cleaner specifically made for glass range tops and have had no issues.

All in all, we are very satisfied with our purchase of this range and are glad we replced our twenty year old limited feature range with this LG.

This oven takes at least 22-25 minutes to pre-heat to 350. That’s a long time in today’s world, and most new electric ovens can reach that temp in 12-15 minutes. I called GE (Haier) to discuss the problem, and they told me that this model has a metal plate covering the bottom heating element.

This is so you can pour water in the bottom of the oven and use the “Steam Clean” function. But it’s not just that this oven takes a long time to pre-heat. What truly sucks is that the display shows the oven is pre-heated when it’s not.

I think it must be measuring the temp below that plate, or the function is just time-based with the software written for the model without the stupid plate covering the heating element, So with my brand new oven I have to use a $6 oven thermometer to make certain it is pre-heated to the correct temp.

GE (Haier) sacrificed basic functionality for a gimmick. I read the steam clean function doesn’t even work as well at the self-cleaning cycle. I’ll probably never use it. When you’re buying a 27″ wall oven you don’t have a lot of options.

I only purchased this because Best buy couldn’t deliver a Whirlpool model I ordered 3 months before, and told me I’d have to wait another 3 months, Living without an oven for 3 months already was just too much.

When this oven does reach the desired temp it does hold it very well, And the wi-fi function is great as you can at least start pre-heating before you even get home. But one has to be very careful when baking something that requires a precise temp for a short period of time like cookies or baked eggs.

If there weren’t a massive shortage of appliances and the fact I lived without an oven for 3 months I would make Best Buy take it back.

I have had this oven for just over three weeks now and while I am still learning about some of the features, at this point I am extremely happy with this purchase. I first thought it may be “too much oven”, but as I start using it more, I don’t think that anymore.

First, my last oven had problems with not heating up to a proper temperature so baking anything was a challenge and pretty much a disaster. I have made cookies twice in this oven and the cookies are actually done in the recommended amount of time! I used the meat probe in a roast chicken last week, and while it took a couple of tries to get the required meat temperature input, I finally did it and that worked great! Have used air fryer once (still figuring that out – my fries did not cook properly but I think that was me/type of frozen french fry and not a problem with the oven) and the quick clean.

Have not yet tried Air Sous Vide, but will be trying that soon. Was able to set a timer using the app on my phone which was great (and fun). Like other reviews, yes, it can be easy to actually turn on the stove top by bumping into the knobs, but that can be avoided by locking the knobs (that process is simple), and actually, because the knobs light up when turned on, it is hard to miss if stove top was turned on accidentally.

I love the look of this oven and how it has been working for me. Well worth the money. Additionally, the service I received at Lowe’s was exceptional and delivery was extremely quick.

This is a reasonable range, but with too many small problems to be worth your money. I wish we could return it, but we can’t. ISSUES 1. This isn’t the end of the world, but there is no keypad for setting the temperature or timers.

You have to press the up or down button to increase the temperature in 5-degree increments, which is just slow and annoying. The timer increases in 1-minute increments, so it’s even slower for any long timers.

You can hold it down to speed it up, but it takes several seconds before it responds and starts going faster and it’s still really annoying. It’s just objectively worse than a number pad that lets you enter exactly what you want.

2. The whole unit feels very underpowered. The main burner is good, but every other burner is bad. Presumably if you’re looking at a double-oven you do a lot of cooking. If that’s you, trust me: this range can’t keep up.

My wife tried searing chicken on the main burner and just boiling water on a secondary burner. Despite having the secondary burner set to high, the water got hot but never boiled until we turned off the main burner.

Similarly, if you’re using the main burner and trying to cook something in the top oven at a high temperature, it just won’t get there. We tried to preheat the oven to 475 but it wouldn’t climb above 440 while we were using burners.

This range just isn’t powerful enough for the type of person who wants to cook more than one thing at a time, which is a pretty strong indictment of a range with a double oven. 3. This isn’t specific to this unit, but more to double ranges in general.

Our prior range was a single oven and we kept tea towels hung over the oven handle. With two handles on the double oven we can either hang them on the top handle and have them interfere with the closing of the bottom oven door or we can hang them on the bottom oven handle and bend over when we want to dry our hands.

It’s a small thing, but it’s one more annoyance we hadn’t thought of before purchasing this range. Worst of all, the range can’t be returned, so we’re stuck with it. Don’t make the same mistake we did – go with something else.

We decided to by a Maytag/Whirlpool because every repair shop we talked to recommended them for parts availability. We previously replaced one brand stove after 6 years when the panel replacement cost as much as the stove, and another brand after 6 years when its panel failed and was not available anywhere in North America.

WORKS GREAT! Top burners are much hotter than the two other brands, especially that huge front right burner. They all boil water noticeably faster. Temp very consistent between the two ovens. And it can be adjusted without making a service call.

Oven is wider than the other brand’s bigger ovens – cookie sheets fit side by side with no overlap. Prevents quarrels because I can low-temp slow-cook a big roast in the bottom oven while my significant other does her higher-temp baking in the top one.

Ovens are better insulated than the other brands – you feel less heat coming through. Home Depot delivery is the best. On time, including status call just before delivery asking us to move cars from the driveway to make it faster.

They were very careful, and in and out in 5 minutes, taking the packing and the old range with them.

I’ve waited 60 days to post a review. Cons: – glass top nearly impossible to keep clean – scratches VERY easily. I thought it was cracked in 4 places. Deep scratches. I am using the same cookware as I used on an older glass top for 12 years.

The old top never scratched. It looks awful. – Cannot fit a standard baking sheet in lengthwise. It’s 1″ too shallow. – Difficult to push oven right up to wall due to closed cavity in plug area – no numeric keypad, so setting time and oven temperature requires A LOT of clicks Pros: – nice looking oven (except dirty and scratched top) – quiet – bakes well – accurate temperature – double ovens still spacious – hidden ‘middle’ oven element interesting.

I intend to return this before the 90 days. The glass top is the deal-breaker. As I’ve read, replacements for this issue scratch just as easily, as one would expect.
