20 Best Overgrips For Sweaty Hands (2022 Updated)

Individually wrapped and at an unbeatable price. Far cheaper than Amazon or any brick-and-mortar stores. I don’t know how these guys are doing it so much cheaper than everyone else, but you sure won’t find me complaining.

I compared these to my store-bought Wilson Pro Overgrips and they were identical, so they don’t seem to be some knockoff product. The packaging was solid and arrived in a timely manner. Buy with confidence.

Great! I love these tennis racquet grips. Very comfortable and tacky so I’m able to comfortably handle my racquet and change grips mid-rally without slipping. The ONLY downside, is that after excessive use (playing frequently and hitting heavy) the grips do wear out around knuckle grip areas.

Lucky this comes with 30 grips so I am able to change them out every so often :).

Delivered in great time, had to do many rackets and realised that the original grips being “Black” & falling apart – “Black” would be a great option if available. White is good if you have surgical hands or have specialist doing the rack grip replacements – we are just lovers of the game & the option of Black 12 pack would be good.

Overall 10 out of 10 to Tennis Warehouse.

Firstly the staff at racquet guys are great. The Wilson overgrip was on 50% discount. Bought the overgrip for my tennis racquet. The problem with this grip was too thin and not long enough to wrap around the whole handle.

Probably better fit for a badminton racquet.

The Head Overgrips are the best of their type that I have come across as they retain their “stickiness” longer than other brands. I use them on my Tennis and Racketball rackets and they are great; personally I like the white ones and as soon as the tackiness declines I simply replace the old one with a new one and it makes the racket feel like new.

I am a 4. 5 player that plays with the Head Graphene XT Radical Pro and I have been a heavy hand sweater my whole life and have dealt with grip issues several times throughout my tennis days. These Head grips feel so wonderful and truly have a phenomenally powerful and commanding feel to them that make you feel like you have absolute control over your rocket.

These grips each last me for months at a time with heavy play time (20 hours weekly) and I just absolutely love the feel this gives me for those long rallies. I definitely recommend this product over any other overgrip that I’ve tried.

The grips are great as they hold their tackiness longer than other makes which makes them superior! I use them for both Tennis and Racketball with great success. I have recommended them to my opponents but that is probably not a great step as I need every advantage I can get.

Cost wise they are comparable with other makes but as they last that bit longer they are value for money.

I have been using Tourna Grip xl Overgrip for as long as i can remember. I have been playing since the age of 12 and I am now 72. I have played around the world and taught young and old. My rackets even to this day the handles never see the light of day.

First thing is Tourna Grip covers the handle. When teaching and new person finds their handle becomes to slippery , automatically reach in my bag and put tourna grip on their handle. The smile and new found confidence they show because their racket is doing what they want.

I am not a salesman for this product but a salesman of proven product that works for me. I am now a leader of 22 sixty five and older. Tourna Grip is used by all but two, and it works just as hard as we do to keep us winning.

I usually buy two or more of the 10 pack, that assures me that i always have a supply. Thanks for letting me review this product.

I bought this overgrip after struggling to find one that allowed me to maintain a good, tacky grip during summer matches. The Tourna Grip solved those problems immediately. No more racket spinning in my hand on hard for hands.

I also find the grip to be soft and comfortable, allowing me to use appropriately light pressure instead feeling like I had to strangle the racket to keep control. This will be a staple for me from now on.

I’ll be curious to see how durable it is, but after three matches, it’s showing no signs of wear.

The grip feels good to the touch, is really easy to wrap around the handle of your racket and lasts for a long time. I’ve used these grips for 20 years now. I will continue to use them for as long as I can play tennis.

I play a lot of tennis and thought they were a good price, however the grips are thinner than the ones from the club pro shop and dont last and become slippery. Not sure why, maybe Babolat has dropped quality or they are not original product.

I have tried Wilson Pro, Yonex Super Grap, Gamma Supreme, and a couple other notable tacky grips. Overall, Babolat Pro Tour was decent but not necessarily the best. The tack is similar to that of Gamma Supreme but with slightly more sweat absorption.

Durability is pretty solid, longevity isn’t quite as good as Wilson Pro but it’s not bad. For me personally, I would have preferred a little more sweat absorption but that is just my personal preference.

All in all, it’s a decent tacky grip.

Purchased a couple of Babolat rackets and decided to uses these overgrips on both. Within 15 minutes of hitting, theses overgrips started to unwind from the racket grip. This happened to both rackets.

I will go back to using the Wilson Pro overgrip which never had issues, after using for 10+ years, with unwinding from the racket grip.

i’ve tried many overgrips and the gamma supreme is still my favorite. it’s not too thin not too thick, not too dry and still not too tacky even though it is tacky, which i like, but you can still change grips without difficulty.

it has enough cushion to make it comfortable but doesn’t take away feel. i do change it weekly due to heavy calluses causing tears and heavy sweating. there are even pro baseball players who use it as a grip for their baseball bats.

These overgrips are great to keep your tennis racket from slipping in your hand. Because of the cheap price I replace my grip about every 3 weeks. They are thinner than a regular grip so if you want about the same thickness as your old grip you can take the old grip off and put on 2 overgrips.

Then when you need to put on a new grip you just remove the top one. You can also put these grips right over your old grip. It will just feel a little thicker.

I currently have this string on one of my Donnay XP Dual racquets, and of the strings I am using Tecnifibre B-Phase Xone, and Klip Excellerator, I would place this in the same league. The strings feel great-have a lot of feel and a lot of pop- the only downside so far is that they seem to slide around a bit more than my other sets.

Otherwise, however, it is a string I would definitely consider using again. In addition, unlike other reviewers, I have not had a problem with the strings breaking very quickly. I will update this review if I have the same problem, but so far, no evidence of fraying on the strings and I have used them for about 10 hours.

All in all, a good purchase.

I guess I couldn’t ask for much for paying a 3-pack for $3. The grip is in good length, fits most racquets. You just have to adjust it based on your racquets. Pretty thin, for me, it would last about a month, playing 2 times a week.

I didn’t use any other grip, because I like my grip to be smaller. So this is perfect in term of size. Absorbance: Not too great. I have to switch racquets every two hours because it will get kind of wet after playing for a few hours.

This is perfect for casual play, if you are looking for a budget grip. Recommended for the casual players like me.

Basic overgrip. Nice colour but nothing special. I bought it because someone recommended it for humid weather. Did not really address the issue. If you’re looking for an OG to prevent slipping due to sweaty hands or humidity just get tourna grip.

It’s the only thing that works. Otherwise get head xtrem soft, it lasts 2-3 times longer than Wilson grips.

The Wilson Ultra Wrap is designed for tennis and other racquet handles. But thanks to knife designer and YouTube channel owner, Chris Tanner, who came up with the idea of using Wilson Wrap on the smooth handles of bushcraft and utility knives, he has discovered a great alternative use for this excellent product.

Sometimes, out in the bush or the woods, those of us who collect knives and use them as camping tools etc. , find that handles which are too smooth present a possible dropping or cutting risk. By using Wilson Wrap on some slippery knife handles the grip is enhanced ten fold, especially when your hands are sweaty or wet from rain.

Not only used on knives, the use of Wilson Ultra Wrap is only restricted by your imagination. Any item that tends to slip in your hands may be made more useful and safer by applying Wilson Wrap. it comes in various packs and kinds of wraps and I’ve found that they last years even on knives that received a lot of use.

For those who like a tacky grip, this product delivers. Forget about rosin powder or stuff you apply to your hands. It loses a slight amount of tack when it is really wet. I use the Mega Tac alone without any grip under it, and eventually the grip slips downward when it is pretty worn and needs to be replaced anyway.

Advantages: I can relax my grip and not slip. Disadvantages: I found I have unconsciously moved the grip around for different touch shots. I was surprised when the shots didnt work, and traced it to not changing my grip.

When you are blasted at the net in doubles you return more balls mishit groundstrokes are more likely to stay in the court because the racquet probably wont turn in your hand.

Summer of 2021 hotest and most humid i remember. Mega Tac maintained tac the best throughout a 2 hour session. Thickness not a problem for me as i appreciate something bigger than a pencil to hold on to.

I put this wrap on my putter – awesome. *I haven’t used it in the rain yet, (just light mist) so I’m not sure how it performs then. Warm and humid conditions have been fine so far.

Works as expected, found this to be the best price for quality grip wrap. Used two to re-do our tennis rackets and one for my wood baseball bat. Ordered 2nd set to have as spares and try one out for hockey.

I’ve read reviews saying negative things because it didn’t have 2-way tape on the back, if you know how to wrap properly this won’t be a problem as when it’s wrapped tight, there is no moving/sliding around.

This is a nice grip. But I’m quite disappointed because this overgrip stained my Yonex factory white grip to green, which I wanted to keep nice (one of the reasons I put an overgrip on in the first place!) I wasn’t sure if I would keep this racquet but now that the grip has been stained green I will have to put on a replacement grip.

Frustrating.

I have used these Babolat over grips before. My wife requested pink grips for her tennis racket. Now the rest is history. They last a good while and offer excellent grip. Well worth a look at in any colour.

It is light in weight with maximum power/control on each shot and every time I hold the racquet. I love the confidence it gives me when playing my game and it matches all my tennis outfits with the awesome blue colour.

This is a good grip. Has a tacky feel as described, although I do not feel any difference in terms of shock absorptions. I can only feel a difference from using a dampener. I am an intermediate player.

The only thing I would say is my local tennis club sells overgrips for $5 each but they were out of stock of black ones. I think the price could be lower than $20, especially when you are buying a 3 pack.

Be careful with this grip if you sweat. It doesn’t absorb at all and the overgrip starts to move. Never had this problem with wilson pro grips. I was wondering why the grip felt weird only to find it shifted after about 30 mins of play.

I would put myself as a heavy sweater, but not the heaviest. The grip felt better once dry so I am not a big fan.

I have tried many different overgrips and there are many fine options to choose from. I just recently tried the Solinco Wonder Grip (30 pack). They are a really nice grip, not too tacky but just tacky enough.

They seem to be reasonably durable and the 30 pack was a great deal. I’m set for the summer plus I can also help out some friends who believe you only need to change your overgrips every three years:).

I bought a 30-pack of this overgrip since it was relatively inexpensive compared to the other 30-pack overgrips by Wilson, Yonex, etc. Now I do love Wilson products very much as up until now I’ve only ever bought Wilson racquets and their overgrips, but I didn’t feel like spending $35+ for 30 of them when I could get the same amount for just $28 from Solinco.

I was hesitant at first since cheaper products usually are of lower quality, but these overgrips are great for the price. They are not as tacky as the Wilson ones I use, but they are softer and stay cleaner a little bit longer.

I really can’t stand the sight of a filthy, worn-out overgrip, but I’m not going to change it every time I play since that’s wasteful. Thankfully this grip stays clean and lasts for an adequate amount of time.

So to sum this up, this overgrip is a wonderful alternative if you’re annoyed at the high prices of overgrips made by other brands or if you just want to try something new.

At first, it was very comfortable but after half a week the comfort dissapeared and it became very uncomfortable. It did not wick away any sweat and it doesn’t improve your grip at all. For me, it made my grip WORSE! Do not get the blue or white grips because they get dirty VERY easily.

I do not know if black gets dirty easily because I have not bought it before.

As a diverse player who likes to adjust my grip on the fly for various shots, this product is perfect. It’s comfortable, absorbs sweat and doesn’t stick to your hand when you’re trying to adjust.

I have used tournagrip since a young junior tournament player, former world ranked and county player, and now as a coach and club player. It’s the best overgrip available, in my opinion, and one of the few double sided grips which can be easily reversed, when one side wears down.

Great product I’ve been using for years. Confusing packaging. Says it’s perfect for short grips and players with one handed backhands. The wrap is fine for a full size grip if you can live with it coming almost to the top.

Used Vokl head tape to finish. I never had any luck with those little red strips you get with the wrap. You just have to stretch it a bit. Next time though, it’ll be the XL version (extra wide) for extra overlap = extra length.

this is the second time i purchased these overgrips. I think they are awesome. no matter how much sweat, my raquet doesn’t slip. my hand maintains a good grip. the light blue color matches my babolot puredrive well.

it is easy to put on. comes with red color tape to hold the grip in place. I would purchase again.

I purchased this pack of 3 Wilson urban camo overgrips for my son’s tennis racquet. He’s a junior and loves anything with camouflage. The grips included are excellent quality, durable and soft to touch.

I actually like the feel of this grip but you get such a short length of it you really have to stretch it and pay attention to how you wrap it to cover your entire racket grip.

No instructions, you take the plastic film off & then wrap, and it just comes unstuck. Where’s the glue?

Very good value for money. I personally like the grips that are a bit more “moist†; that feel “leathery†, almost (like the Wislon). This one is good, keeps hand dry, but it feels a bit “too†dry on hand (I know it sounds like that should be the purpose!).

This is a okgrip to use as the base but terrible if you want to over grip it. Its preferred you buy a different grip if you are that type of person who switches back and forth from over grip to base grip.

Putting a over grip on this will cause the base grip to literally become useless , one wrap and off and its done. Grip is useless after that. It was hard for me to take the plastic wrapping off because it was so sticky, I had to deal with a small portion of the plastic wrap stuck on the grip because of it.

This is a very sticky and tacky grip for those who want stability and full contact. If your hands are wet from sweat, water or anything, it will jeopardize the grip and game play tremendously. Overall, this is a pretty basic grip, nothing special but the tackyness but even that can go in an instant.

Perfect grip from star to finish. This viperdry keep its tack unti it starts to peel off and last a long time. More than 5x of the touna tac. But doesnt absorb sweat, so this is the perfect overgrip for dry hands.

I hope Dunlop never discontinue this one.

I love this grip since it allows me to play with a smaller grip size and build up a half size to get better snap on my strokes. The tack and cushion is just perfect and it is long enough to use on racquets with longer grips.

Lastly, it doesnt seem to get as dirty as the other white grips Ive tried. Highly recommend this product!.

These tourna tac grips go on very easily and last about 1-3 matches. I can definitely tell the differnece between the tac ones and the regular. They don’t slip as much when we are playing USTA matches in the blistering summer.

I watched a video and then applied it. Took a few minutes and it makes my performance better. Nice balance between whisking away sweat, and stickiness. I wish it was a little thicker, but I couldve easily applied it thicker.

Instead, used 1/8 overlapping technique.

Easy to fit, properly sticky end tape included, love the red finish. Durable and lasts, adds about a half grip size to tennis racket. Can be stretched to be slightly thinner depending on desired feel.

Mega Tac is the quality over-grip needed to maintain a proper hold of the racquet in these humid, hot days. As a player that has sweaty hands while playing this is the only grip that has consistently allowed control of the racquet throughout a match.

One over-grip of Mega Tac lasts longer than 1 match, the same could not be said for other grips that were used. This is THE grip to get.

This overgrip is literally perfect. It lives up to its name. It’s very comfortable but not too squishy. I really like it’s Tourna-like tackiness but handles the sweat much better.

Dunlop makes great products. Theyre just not known here enough in the U. S. I have one adult and one junior using their products, and they love them. They like when Im in Houston all the time, I can pick up what they need.

These are the absolute best dry absorbent grips I’ve ever used! I have extremely sweaty and oily hands during the summer due to the humidity and temperature and these let me keep a hold of my racquet.

I live in hot and humid South Florida, and I sweat profusely when I play tennis. Tourna Grip is the best product that I have found to keep my grip as dry as possible. I highly recommend it.
