I have been a Vera Bradley customer for many years, & one thing that remains constant, is the wonderful quality of all the items I purchase. I recently received a lovely gift card from family , so decided to go with this great large duffle bag for future travelling.

Super roomy, but not too big. It is beautiful quilted fabric in black, with a black & white lining. Pockets galore as only Vera Bradley can do, & so convenient for travelling, to store all those many items to take.

I have another small tote bag, I purchased previously, in the black quilted fabric, so they both match. The item came with an extremely nice shoulder strap, & also has straps for handles, to carry. All packed so nicely when shipped, real attention to detail.

I would highly recommend this item, the pics don’t do it justice. I’m a Vera Bradley fan for LIFE! 👍🏻.

I have the Weekender in another pattern from the outlet, and really like that it’s so roomy. Unfortunately, when I consolidated my travel items into few bags, I couldn’t get my bathroom things and my dogs’ travel items (treats, bowls, food, etc.

) into one bag. I decided to go with the Grand Weekender. This bag is huge! It is designed to fit on at 26 or larger suitcase, and I travel with a carryon size suitcase. This bag can thread through the suitcase handle which would secure the bag, and it should work.

It has plenty of room to hold the things I wanted, and maybe more, and it is tall enough that will fit my large bottle of lotion without having the pump sticking out of the bag like it did with the Weekender.

This would make my road trips so much easier since I’ll have 1 less bag to carry between the car and the hotel room while managing 2 dogs on 2 leashes. I love the Itsy Ditsy pattern. I love the little flowers and the creatures hidden in them.

At first, I thought the pattern was so busy, too much. I started with the lanyard/ID case, then the Campus backpack, and then the toiletry bag, and now this Grand weekender. I think I got what I need for a long time since the Vera Bradley items I have seem to last forever!!.

Do you want to put all the things for a long weekend getaway in a single bag? Reach for the Recycled Cotton Duffle. I packed 7 pairs of pants and shorts (1 pair of jeans, ) 7 tops, 2 dresses, a swimsuit and coverup, underwear, 2 bras, 2 pairs of shoes, and a Vera Bradley Hanging Travel Organizer in this duffle for a recent trip, and it all fit beautifully.

The duffel’s fabric is durable and soft, and extremely high quality for a recycled product. I appreciated the longer, wider carrying straps, including the padded detachable shoulder strap, as this was a road trip and I had to haul the bag in and out of our car and up a flight of stairs to our room.

The large exterior pockets gave me plenty of room to jam last-minute items such as cords, chargers, hairbrushes, and shawls into the duffle. Best of all, the interior lining has a light background fabric, which is not only pretty but practical: it’s easier to see your black stuff (and I have a ton of black stuff) against a light background.

I have the olive drab color, and I love its versatility. The only problem: my husband likes it, too, and he may steal it from me.

The fabric is soft and sort of silky but yet seems very durable. The bag and shoulder pad on strap are nicely padded. The stress points (e. g. , where strap attaches to bag) seem durable. It has a hard bottom.

Great capacity. Nice availability of open outer pockets, outer zip pockets, and interior mesh pockets on both sides. The largest outer zip pocket will fit a laptop and is nicely cushioned to do so. Things that would make this bag perfect: Transparent plastic bottom (like can be found on Lug bags) to protect from water and stains.

Wider luggage sleeve. It is *just* wide enough to fit on my suitcase, a snug fit, which made it difficult to get on. I tested this with the bag empty, so may be slightly easier when full. Perhaps slightly smaller size.

I wanted something bigger than the medium duffel, and while I appreciate how much capacity this has, I’m a little nervous it will be too big to use as a carry on. The color. Of course devices read color differently, but for me, the color in the picture is different from the bag.

It has less blue tone in person (online the lavender color looks almost on the verge of periwinkle). It is lighter and more pastel looking online than in person.

This bag is terrific, using it daily in addition to my briefcase, to tote purse, lunch, water bottle and other items back and forth to work. Need to be hands free when I enter my workplace for screening and this bag fits the bill.

I got the black, which goes with everything year round. It is lightweight and I can carry or wear over my shoulder when public trans is required. Very pleased w/ this bag. Lots of room inside w/ large interior slip pockets to keep smaller items organized.

Front pocket can fit an iPad or cables, etc. There is also a long zippered compartment on the back side of the bag that I haven’t even used yet, which could easily fit a laptop, files, a sweater, just about anything.

This bag could easily be used as an overnight bag for travel. The only downside to this bag (in the black), is that the fabric easily picks up lint from your clothing. Other than that, I have been very happy with it.

I bought this bag for my 14 year old granddaughter who was always borrowing her mom’s Vera Bradley bag (that I bought for her as well). I have been a fan of Vera Bradley bags over 20 years! My absolute favorite bag is the Weekender Travel Bag.

I highly recommend this bag for anybody! My 7 year old granddaughter even travels with one! And it’s perfect for an overnight or weekend getaway!.

If have the grey and blacks version of these. The materials on the outside are different on both. The black has more sheen and the grey has more of a dry and organic feel. They are not small, definitely huge and not easy to carry when full.

I can fit 2 dslrs with lenses inside a peak design packing cube, a pair of shoes, a pair of clothes and a Dopp kit. I can’t tell how long it they will last but I’ve had a bellroy wallet for over 10 years that just won’t die.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a daily use item for that long.

This bag is perfect in every way. Organisation pockets are a huge standout to other ‘duffle’ style bags and help keep everything in-order. Perfect for a weekend away or work/ gym duo bag. Bellroy, you’ve done it yet again!.

Beautiful bag. Leather is gorgeous and the bag is an ample and functional size. Gave to my son as a gift for his Masters Degree graduation. He loves it, and it using it this week for the first time on a business trip for his new job.

Shipping box looked like it had been run over by the delivery truck, but thankfully the bag itself was not damaged. Frye was responsive to my concerns about the condition of the damaged shipping box.

The logan overnight is absolutely amazing. The look of the bag is amazing and the quality and craftsmanship of this bag is the best I’ve ever seen. But the leather when you first open and see and smell for the first time is experience all in it self.

I needed a replacement for my Longchamp Oxford Duffle (long story…was a gift from my ex). This bag though is the perfect upgrade and has made me excited to start (safely) traveling again. Size is great for weekend (or even weeklong) trips.

I prefer duffel style bags for carryon (over rolling suitcase) so I never have to check my bag (even if you board last there is always space for a bag like this).

This bag is amazing. Beautifully constructed. Well made. Sturdy. I’m impressed by how much I can fit into this bag. I bought it for a week long trip to Mexico. I wasn’t shy about bringing extra clothes and stuff.

It holds a good amount. The leather and stitching are durable. The shoe compartment is excellent. I could easily fit 2 or 3 pairs in the pocket. The zippers are strong and didn’t fail at all. The pockets are average sized, have zippers, and well placed.

The inside lining is very soft but it does feel somewhat thin — treat it well. I don’t recommend over stuffing or putting stuff in your bag that could rip it. Also, over stuffing it does make it kinda hard to zip up.

The only thing. There is a “pocket” that allows you to put a suitcase handle through it. This is a great feature if you are using it that way. But do not confuse it for an actual pocket. I nearly lost my passport because I was in a hurry and tried to slip my passport into a front pocket on the bag.

This is a little confusing if you’re in a rush because there are two actual pockets with zippers right where that slip is — one on the actual slip portion and one on the bag portion directly behind it.

If you can’t visualize this I did take a photo, but the takeaway is only put things inside zippers. There are no slip pockets on the outside part of the bag. Overall I really love the bag. I love that it attaches to itself near the main zipper.

It really brings the look together. The canvas is nice and in general it’s very attractive and well made. I took several photos of this bag, both full and empty, as well as the shoe compartment with a pair of shoes for scale.

I also took a close up of the material so you could see the quality.

I had difficulty deciding how to rate this bag. It’s a good looking bag, seems to be well-made, and has excellent capacity. However, I got the impression from the various photographs on Amazon that it was more stiff-sided than it actually is.

All the photos give the impression that it stands up on its own, and it does not. It also arrived folded, so it’s creased and is always in a collapsed state. The only way it’s going to look like it does in those photos is if it is absolutely crammed full.

If you don’t have it completely full it does fold in on itself especially if you use the long strap and carry it over your shoulder. It sort of dips in the middle. Still, I have used it and its best point is its capacity, and the stripes are very smart.

I gave it a the middle of the road rating because if I had known what it was going to be like, i. e. not stiff-sided, before I bought it, I would not have bought it.

What a great sturdy bag. I will be using this for my trips back and forth between Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis. I’m 65 and they just DX: me with severe Anemia. Said somewhere I’m bleeding internally but they’re not sure where.

I was hoping to get the little cosmetic bag that goes with it, and use it as my pill bag instead. But mine never camey with one. I am glad I purchased this bag even though it never did come with the small cosmetic bag.

I really like this bag! Like other reviewers said, it’s really roomy! With another weekender bag I’ve been using, I had to put my toiletries, hair dryer, etc in a second bag. This holds it all. including a pair of shoes or two.

The extra little bag that it comes with won’t be as useful, as it won’t hold much, but it’s still a nice little bonus. I like the fact that this had comfortable handles as well as a removable shoulder strap.

I got it in black. It’s classic and will hide any dirty spots. Hoping it holds up for a long time as this will be my go-to bag.

I’d been looking for a weekender bag to compliment my existing luggage. I use it independently for short trips (good internal pockets, hold firm) and I use it on longer trips with a suitcase. It fits nicely on top of my rolling suitcase and is sleek.

Fits in overhead bins and under the seat on a plane. I love it! I gave 4 starts because the shoulder bag strap is awkward to me – otherwise perfect!.

I bought this beautiful weekender bag for my daughter and she loves it so much. This quilted bag is so cute, soft, spacious, sturdy, lightweight and good quality. It holds all of her clothes, toiletries and other necessities when going on a short trip.

I really love how spacious this bag is. It’s a great overnight bag/ hospital bag. I only wish the handles weren’t faux leather because I can see how they will start to gray very quickly. It would have been nice to just make them in the same nylon fabric as the bag.

Love that is has a section for the shoes and a removable long strap. It has two interior pockets/slots for smaller items or as big as an iPhone 12. It also has a zipper slot inside. And a long hidden exterior zippered pocket.

There is also a small pocket on the opposite side near the handles designed for smaller more used items like a cell phone or tickets. It is also deeper than the interior version. If you are debating on this size and the one smaller, get this size.

The smaller size is not quite worth it, IMO.

Love the color of this bag, but I would say it’s more of a taupe/champagne color than grey! Was buying it for my hospital bag for when I deliver my baby, and definitely not big enough for me, but it’s perfect for a baby bag! I also used it for my 2 year old daughter for a weekend bag! I would say it’s more of an overnight bag for an adult! Love that it’s super light weight has a luxurious look but definitely know it’s not made to last! The material seems like it could be ruined easily, but it fits the price I paid for it! Happy with it over all! Was just expecting something bigger which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I LOVE this bag and the other matching sizes. Holds so much and makes the perfect weekender bag. I love that it has a pocket on the side that expands into the main compartment. It makes a great spot to carry shoes that I don’t want touching my clothes.

I’ve been using mine for close to a year now and I love it’s held up really well. I bought the matching purse and overnight bag so that should tell you how much I love them.

Although I haven’t used it yet for travel, it appears to be well made and I like the large size. Has plenty of outside pockets and a detachable shoulder strap, plus handles. Colorful print too.

I love the color, the material the bag is made of seems like it may rip easily. I’m not super impressed that the should strap hooks into plastic clips. Overall, pretty cheaply made.

Made of waterproof material, but this bag in NOT Waterproof! The zippers are sewn in, but have big gaps and therefore leave this bags contents vulnerable to water damage. This bag in not what I thought I was purchasing.

Bag is very large. Def too big for under seat on plane but great weekender size

I bought this to use on the weekends as we go camping most weekends and it will be easier to carry our weekend clothes to the camper. It is a really good size and it is very pretty. Zippers work, it is sewn very well.

I will be using it this weekend for the first time. I also bought the Purple one as a gift for my Niece as it’s very pretty.

Used it for the first time and realized it only has one outside pocket and doesn’t look like the picture in the catalog. It doesn’t feel really sturdy but will be ok for overnight visits. Just an “ok” purchase.

The butterfly pattern is cute, to say something more positive.

I bought this duffel bag for our weekend trips. Just the perfect size for a three or four day trip. I really like the butterfly pattern because I love butterflies. Material is sturdy and so are the handles.

Not as pictured. There is only a zipper no outer pocket as pictured. I was hoping to use it as a large diaper bag. I think LTD has had enough reviews on this to safely say they should update pictures and description.

I bought five of these bags as gifts. I am amazed at the quality for the price. The colors are so vibrant! The fabric quality is great and the bag size is nice and large. I think these gifts will really be useful to my friends.

At first, I was excited to receive it, but then I tried the zipper before even putting anything in it and the zipper would open when the zipper should have been closed securely. I really wanted to keep it because I was going to use it for a weekend trip but instead, I returned it.

Wish the zipper was not poorly made. Now I’m not sure about buying any more products with the logo that this bag had.

I am a devout purchaser of QVC. When l saw this travel bag. I pulled out my measuring tape. And visualized the dimensions. When l got it in the mail l was thurly impress. This travel bag is beautiful.

It’s just gergorus. When I’m about people ask me where did l get it. And l a proud to say OVC. Several of them said they will purchase one. Thank you OVC for making me look good in public.

I realize that this bag wasn’t going to be the high-end type of material used in bags designed by this duo, but, I did expect it to be better than what I received. There is no way this bag is worth $70.

00. I’ve seen better pleather bags from box retailers. It’s being returned.

I had high expectations for this bag, as I have loved all of my previous purchases from Beis, but I’m a bit disappointed with this one. I’ve had the bag for about a month now (I go to the gym 3-5 days a week) and one of the zippers is already broken (on a pocket I barely use, but still upsetting).

The material of the bag, while nice, is a bit too soft. Because of this, it lacks the structure and sturdiness of other duffles. Even when everything is stored neatly in the inside pockets and the weight is distributed evenly, it is constantly flipping sideways or upside down when using it as an over-the-shoulder duffle (make sure it’s fully closed, or all of the contents will go flying!).

The different ways to carry it is a plus and so are the multiple interior pockets. I opt for the backpack straps given the structural problems previously mentioned. I probably would’ve chosen the backpack had I been able to test-run the duffle.

Overall, cute gym bag with a great design, but not stiff enough to maintain its shape or keep the bag upright when using it as an over-the-shoulder duffle.

It’s a great bag. High quality, ultra versatile and I think a good value. I only have a couple of very minor issues with it. One is the side pocket. When u carry it like a duffle, the pocket is too short to secure a water bottle, and when u carry it like a backpack, that pocket is essentially pointless.

I’m a hydro-homie, so easy access water is a must for me when I travel. Second (again minor) issue is that there’s this secret-ish zip pocket. That in my head, I decided was for passport storage and the pocket would be awesome if it actually fit a passport.

Other than that, it really is a great bag and well worth your investment. The material is nice, color is beautiful. The bag can be comfortably worn three ways which I love. Plus, if ur not using it as a backpack, u can easily tuck away the straps to make it look better and have less hanging off of it.

There are lots of creative and useful storage pockets. And one of my fave is the convertible pocket on the front that unzips so u can slide it on ur luggage handle. I hope beis makes a bigger one with dedicated shoe storage in the future.

For the most part, I really love this bag, I’ve had my duffle for like 8 or 9 months. Lots of pockets, dirty bag included, and a luggage pass through! A big reason why I got this bag though was because you can carry it like a backpack which would have been handy for me biking to the gym or sprinting to my gate at the airport.

HOWEVER, the reason this bag gets three stars is because I’ve only used the backpack mode three times (it wasn’t heavy any of those times) and now the webbing where the buckle attaches to the bag is fraying to the point where I can’t use it in backpack mode anymore.

My guess is the straps aren’t ergonomic or long enough to properly support any weight in backpack mode that makes for tight fight for the wearer, and puts a lot of stress on the straps. For the price of the bag being more expensive than duffles that are much larger, it’s incredibly disappointing that only after a few uses, a handle/carry mode is already unusable.

I don’t recommend buying this duffle until this feature is improved.

I bought the Weekender for a carry-on piece for an international trip. I had room to spare in the bag but was happy to be able to carry a lot in one bag if needed. I used the side zip for my laptop (which added significant weight to the bag).

I’m 5’8″ and am use to carrying bags. this bag became a little cumbersome walking through the airports but again. it housed a lot of stuff. in one bag. I found myself wishing it had wheels but am ultimately happy with the purchase.

It’s a big bag. if you fill it up, it’s going to get heavy. The Weekender is beautiful and very well-made and I anticipate I will have the bag for a lifetime (and it will probably still look great). I’m a big fan of being able to wash the bag (huge selling point for the shoes and bags).

I bought the gray stripe but would love to have it in solid black or birdseye grey. I would purchase this bag again without hesitation.

This thing is awesome. It is on the heavy side for sure, but my short trips often invoke driving so I’m not taking it far. But it fits everything you could ever need and then some, love the divided pockets so I can keep dirty shoes away from everything else.

Spendy but don’t see getting rid of it anytime soon. Worth the money!.

This would have been the perfect bag for me if it weren’t so heavy to start it off with. I can’t imagine packing it with even just a handful of overnight items thus making it even heavier. I’m a guy who can handle carrying some heavy luggage in all my travels, but wondering if there a way to make this bag lighter in weight without compromising all the features it possesses!… love my loafers!.

The bag is amazing and it came within a great time frame for international shipping. I love all of the interior pockets that you don’t normally get with a duffle style bag! Great material and very appealing to use.

I will however mention that 2 days after I ordered this bag I also ordered the same bag in blush. I am disappointed that it took 12 days for the blush bag order to be fulfilled and ultimately shipped, 5 days delay in shipping (which is understandable and out of company hands) and it has still not arrived 19 days later.

I have been tracking the item and its still in the early stages of shipping so its easy to say it will be another 5-7 days. I have had to make other arrangements as I am now too close to my due date and have no idea when the bag will actually get here.

To also be clear this order was not placed on the holiday and I had even received the brown weekender before the blush one was even shipped. I was offered no discount, so solution, other than sorry for the inconvenience.

These bags are expensive it was an investment for us to purchase and we may not even have it for the big day. It has made me think a bit about future purchases.

I bought it for my sister for her upcoming baby in February. She has been going through a long process of having her miracle baby along with her husband. They come a lot of obstacles this year and I wanted to shower her with the best, even if it added to my first budget.

She’s done everything to me, so to see her get excited and ready for her due date come closer. Packing and having the possibility to have a comfortable hospital bag, is only another blessing to make every process of her first experience better and better.

Not to mention she loves every aspect it supports to her needs in bringing especially for the new addition to the family. So thank you again, making my older sister dreams come true to have the best of the best!.

Love it! Have had my eye on this bag for a long time and it is worth it! So pretty and good sized with lots of internal pockets for organization. Easily fits overnight essentials for my two (soon to be three) girls and myself, or several days just for myself.

Can’t wait to use it for weekend trips and for my hospital bag coming up. So worth the expense for something functional and pretty!.

I received this bag as a gift and at first was very concerned by how small it looked. Because it tapers at the top it does not necessarily hold as much as I was hoping it would however, packing cubes really helped me maximize the space in the bag.

It’s such a beautiful and practical piece and it was perfect for a three night trip. I’d give it a higher rating but the strap was a huge issue. I’m 5’3″ and even adjusted the strap was way too long.

Tried to wear it crossbody and it was still uncomfortable to walk from the metro to the hotel with and I eventually had to ask my fiancé to carry it instead. Something to keep in mind if you are shorter.

Loved this! Bought it for a 2-day trip to attend a funeral and it worked so well! Held plenty of clothes and toiletries and seems really sturdy and well made and just helped me feel prepared and put together during a difficult time.

I ordered this bag to complement my orange Bric’s Suitcase and the color is much more of a brown than orange. Good construction, though. Contemplating returning it.

Its awful! It smells like dead fish! Love the look and wanted it to work so bad for such a great price but I can not walk around having my clothes smell like dead fish so I’m afraid to use it. I exchanged it trying to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it was a mistake the bag smelled like this.

No the 2nd one I got smells just as bad and even worse they since then have put on website final sale on this item no returns or exchanges so looks like I’m out $70! Insane, awful customer service. Its not even on sale the only reason I can think of that they put on the bottom of the page final sale is because they know this item will keep being returned so this is their way to make money off the ones made so poorly.

I love it. It’s really big! A good replacement for my old bag. My only issue is that the mouth of the bag is kinda small. So it’s a bit annoying when putting my things into it. But that’s just me. I love it though!.
