20 Best Pa System For Dj (2022 Updated)

So I got the Pyle PSUFM1280B. My first thoughts is that its really light, its not a heavy speaker. Once I plugged it in to charge it, I connected it to my Bluetooth, it connected pretty good and quick.

I played some songs and turned the volume up. I have to say it has good sound, loud, good bass and tremble. In addition I plugged in a USB with music and that come across loud and clear, good sound. If your using this for a back yard pool party, a picnic, a party where people are dancing, the speaker will do the job, I was impress.

I them connected the microphone( put batteries in mic) and my voice came over really crisp, loud, and it mixed well with the music, say if you want to karaoke. So then I checked out the disco light on top of the speaker and it flashed pretty well though out my house, nice and bright.

Love this speaker system! The sound is great and the lights add a nice touch to the scenery. Love that it has wheels and the extended handle to conveniently move it around from one place to another! The stand that comes with it is great.

Everything is pretty sturdy. You also get a mic which is battery operated so no cord needed! I love this system, its everything I was looking for! Definitely a great deal.

Sound is great. I used it for an outdoor party and the sound was very clear and loud for a big space. The lights also project a large area. Everything works. The price is awesome. Definitely would recommend.

I tested these out and was very disappointed. They are very shrill sounding. I even paired them with a Rockville amp that was recommended to be used with these. So powering them wasn’t the issue. I think the bullet tweeters is part of the problem.

But if you take a peak inside to see what is being used you’ll find poor quality products. I also heard a rattling sound and distortion when I was using these. And I wasn’t even pushing them hard yet.

I got em up to around 98db and didn’t want to risk blowing something. So overall not a well balance speaker out of the box. It needed way too much EQ-ing to make these sound less shrill. And even after EQ they still struggled.

So I returned these. WARNING! If you buy these and try to return them. They only give you one shipping label for two separate boxes. So I had to pay an additional $37 at FedEx to get these shipped back.

AND THEN “Audio Savings” took an additional $17. 50 off of my return saying they were now in used condition. Which is impossible because I had these out of their shipping box for a total of maybe an hour before I packaged them all back up to be shipped back.

Maybe they’re so appalled by their own product that when they open a return they’re filled with disappointment. Whatever the case may be, It was an overall disappointing experience from the product and the company.

I think you’d be better off buying some used Yamaha passive boxes. And remember. You get what you pay for.

When you are buying a speaker understand the ins and outs of how they are supposed to function, especially know the diffrence between peak and RMS power. This speaker at 4ohms takes alot of watts to power its continous output (average loudness).

I have it hooked up to GTD Audip0Amplifier rated at a whopping 8,500 watts peak power. Again, the amp only does 1,500 watts continous, the same as the speaker the two are a great match and with my db set at 92 on serato I can play it at 80 -95% of the amps power without any clipping.

I’m running the speaker briged on the amp to maximize performance. So how does it sound? it lacks flavor, its good all around when you get it. One things for sure its loud, the bass is punchy but not overbearing mids are present, and the highs are probabaly the highlight of these speakers Don’t get it twisted though, a simple eq adjusment and these things can up the ante on the low and mid end easily trust and believe, you won’t be getting that out of the box though so invest in a EQ or dedicated mixer to control the frequency response.

At this price It’s like i’ve committed a crime or something, can’t belive I found a speaker this loud for almost 1/10 of what other competitors are selling it as. Bottom line, it’s great speaker takes and produces lots of power, just needs a little EQing and some musical know how and you’ve just robbed QSC, JBL, and others of their branding powers.

This speaker isn’t made of solid wood though it’s constructed from particle board a composite of diffrent materials and wood fiibers so a cut corner there, on the flip side that does make it alot more transporatble and there is no speaker stand socket at the bottom.

Buy with confidence and pride.

I have a lot of Rockville products and these RSG12 3-way speakers deliver just as they should. Great clear sound from all 3 ranges. Hooked up to Rockville amps, they deliver clear highs, lows and most importantly, very clear mid-range sound.

When added to the two-way units we already have, the combination is really outstanding. Highly recommend any of the Rockville products,remembering they work best with each other. Got 2 more of these to add to the collection.

Everything is great and they work flawlessly. These are a terrific product for the money.

The Rockville is a very clever design. I love it for its compact. But the Reverb is a little chintzy the sliders are also chintzy low quality. but the amp and speakers sound good. The mic is good also for the price, The tripods are a little weak and the plastic tops got stuck inside the speakers.

OMG!!! I am totally blown away by this system!!! Genius. I am a grandmother with an ongoing singing career. I am launching a solo career. The Ease of setting the system up and breaking down is a dream.

The sound quality is amazing!!!.

This amplier can only support one pair of speakers. There is no output for subwoofer also. The volume control is lose.

I bought this brand and model speaker over 7 years ago and it has been great but i bought a new XP106 to replace it and it was crap. A loose connection of the volume control made an intermittent horrible static noise when playing music and had to frequently fiddle with the volume control knob to stop the noise.

I suppose the build quality has dropped since i bought my first.

My previous pair of Skechers were Superior Ditmos so I knew what size to order. This is an important point to consider as these are relaxed fit. I would normally wear a 10-10. 5 however I go down to a 9 so it would be an advantage to try on a pair in a store before ordering.

They are very comfortable and I think durable too as my previous pair which are still going strong though wearing slightly in the soles, I wore virtually every day. Ten months wear so far and I walk a couple of miles to work.

Prior to wearing these shoes I applied a liberal dose of a beeswax leather conditioner and that helped to soften the leather uppers as well as waterproofing them. All in all I ‘am happy with my purchase.

I’ve had one of these for four years now and find it a great little PA. It isn’t as powerful as some out there, but it has features other portable PAs lack. What it has that are outstanding are: (1) Three-band EQ on each channel.

Only one competitor offers this–but their units are more expensive and heavier to cart around. Others offer only two-band EQ and some only offer a “tone” control. (2) Seven-band EQ in the master section.

Again, only one competitor offers a similar feature. Most of the competitors do not offer any master EQ. (3) Onboard FX. While I prefer to use outboard FX for my guitars. these are nice to have. to enhance vocals.

(4) FBQ — feedback location and isolation–that isolates an offending frequency causing feedback and identifies it on the EQ so it can be attenuated. As for how powerful is it–I have used it in gymnasiums and on floats in parades and had good success with it.

It does have a few drawbacks: (1) I wish it had pan/balance controls on each channel. This however is a minor issue since I run an external mixer through channels 4/5 which has pan/balance controls. This not only gives me additional mic inputs–but allows me to send out a true stereo mix.

So, contrary to the answer given in the Q&A on this product, one CAN use an external mixer with this unit. But unless one is using this as a strictly solo performer, I would highly recommend using an external mixer with this.

In fact, if one uses a Xenyx 1002B, one has an external mixer that has the same channel layout as the mixer section on this. (2) I wish it had a footswitch jack so one could use a footswitch to turn FX on/off.

I’ve had this PA for over two years now. I use it for special functions in our church’s gymnasium and also outdoors when our church has its annual block party for the neighborhood. The sound is excellent, and although only rated at 100 watts per channel [Peak], it can get LOUD.

If it has any drawbacks, they would be (1) no panning controls on the mic channels–those feed out as dual mono to both channels, (2) only two channels have mic (XLR) inputs. The other channels have 1/4″ TS and RCA phono inputs.

So if one uses additional mics, one needs to use an outboard mixer. The built-in FX are only so-so. Plus Behringer provides no indication in the owners’ manual as to what each setting is. They will provide a list upon request–but this is crucial information which should be in the owner’s manual.

Another drawback is the USB input for the UltraLink wireless mics. Behringer is marketing this as being ideal for presentations and for settings such as exercise classes. People doing presentations and especially those leading exercise classes use headset mics.

Handheld mics are useless in those settings. If that is the case, why haven’t they developed a wireless headset mic for the UltraLink series? More to the point, why is Behringer refusing to even consider developing a headset mic for the UltraLink series? At least that was the response I got when I contacted their customer service.

I will probably be getting rid of this and moving back to the Peavey Escort series for my next PA. BTW, for the reviewer asking about speaker stands–i use tripod mic stands. They fit perfectly.

Just as I hoped it would sound. Very small system for portability & room filling sound. With the channel tones & 7 band eq & reverbs & delays, you can customize any sound you like. One important thing, with this nice sounding PPA 200, I Highly recommend adding an old Sony 45 watt theatre sub or a similar or larger newer sub.

It doesn’t take much knob, 1-3, on my sub for incredible room filling music. I’m an old rocker from way back cranking digital music about as loud & full as I care to at home. Haven’t tried yet in our softer genre nursing homes.

We mainly do gospel & country/folk acoustic & singing. I also highly recommend the Behringer twin wireless mics, which I already had with my portable Behringer Europort 40. Worth the money, I used rechargeable aa’s.

This Samson XP800 bundle is GREAT! Everything worked perfectly, right out of the box. My Church already had 2 Samson cordless mics that are great quality. Those were able to work seamlessly with this XP800.

So going with Samson gets you the best quality for the price in my opinion. Shure and Sennheiser are great, but they can get too pricey if you are on a budget. The stands are durable and stable, the speakers and mixer provide loud and clear sound.

Plus I Bluetooth connected my phone to play music without a hitch. The 3 corded mics come in handy for our singers, and work as a backup for a wireless mic when a battery dies. Just a brilliant deal all around!.

Sound quality is great at both high and low ends. Bluetooth easily connects. I use it for directly plugging in a bass, a guitar and two microphones and all sound great. I use it for outdoor ministry at a loud street corner an get crystal clear loud volume that cuts through the noisy street traffic.

This is not a battery powered unit. It needs to be plugged in to AC for power. However, I plug it into a portable battery unit that I bring to the street and the pa works greats. It uses up to 450 watts of power.

I’ve used it with both a 200 and a 350 watt rechargeable emergency back up battery units and get well over an hour of battery powered pa on the street without needing direct AC power. And by having separately purchased the emergency back up batteries, which I needed for normal-life emergency back up reasons, I now have the best of both worlds – a great portable battery powered pa on the street / great AC powered unit at home and emergency power back up for the home.

First off, one of the speakers arrived damaged, internally. Sounds like a robot’s last breath. But, figuring I could just exchange the item, I wanted to see if the sound quality was great. So I took one speaker and the mixer to a solo gig.

For $600, the sound was nowhere near what it should be. Absolutely no low end, and turning up the highs only gave it a ringing quality versus actual high end presence. I wanted to love this thing for its ease of use and convenience, but, even aside from the speaker arriving damaged, this thing is just not worth the price tag.

It’s supposed to be portable? It’s awkward and heavy to carry with one hand while carrying the rest of your gear. It’s a really cool idea packed with so many features (Bluetooth, wirless mic capability, on board effects, etc.

) it’s as if they want to impress you with its number of features enough to get you to say “eh, the speakers aren’t the best but this is just so convenient!” Here’s some real honesty: played a gig the other day with just my buddys Bose S1, which is about 1/4th the size, has reverb, 3 channels, and Bluetooth and can be battery powered.

it blew the XP800 out of the water. Full sound, super clear. It’s the same exact price. So don’t let the convenience factor fool you. If it’s that important to you to have a mixer, just get a mixer separately.

All of these “all in one” systems that have a mixer with it and two speakers (fender passport, peavey portable, etc) all sound the same, are all clunky and awkward, and aren’t gonna push a clear, full sound out to your crowd even if it’s a solo gig.

Bought this PA System for my small acoustic tour. I play very small intimate venues for this tour as part of my celebrating 20 years of music concert experience. This works okay for playing tracks via bluetooth.

But when I play my guitar I’ve had trouble from the start with it clipping and sounding distorted. I’ve emailed Adam Hall Group right away to try and fix the issue to no avail. There should be no excuse at all why this thing is clipping and feeding back, there are several youtube videos where it doesn’t feed back.

I keep the volume at half way and have never pushed it. I’m very disappointed with my experience. Its great and portable yes. It gets the sound around the room decently enough. But it just doesn’t put out enough clean SPL or clean head room for me to work with this system.

Also noticed the bass is not a great clear bass. Its very muffled, I have almost one million followers on Twitter it would have also been nice if they gave me a better deal. There are much more attractive offers from Bose and other brands that don’t have these issues.

I had my audience complain that the high range hurt their ears, I had a sound engineer complain there was no sound out to run an extra speaker to it and I had other audience members complain they could not hear me further in the back of the room.

So unless LD Systems or I DJ Now offers to fix this situation. I will not be buying anything from LD Systems. They also give free sound systems to people in exchange for a good review. Don’t believe all the dishonest marketing they put out.

You won’t see this get a bad review because most are being either paid or offered free stuff to leave a good review. But they are certainly going to hear from me about this experience because this is unacceptable.

Firstly, delivery went smoothly considering it came from Germany (UK VAT paid on ordering and as product largely made in the EU, no import duty). Really easy to set up either as stand-a-lone or from a separate mixer.

The idea of being able to vary the height is useful. Not so good listening very close up but fine a few metres back; that said, low level of feedback makes it great in a small environment. In short, a good, versatile piece of kit made with LD’s usual good quality at a very acceptable price.

I have been using this LD Maui 5 PA since August 2017. I have never had a problem. The sound is excellent. It very loud for it’s size and weight. very light weight. I have only used the bluetooth several times when members of my audience wanted to sing karaoke to their cell phones.

Each time the phones connected easily and worked very well. I highly recommend this PA for a one-man-band (like me) playing small to medium size rooms(large too, depending on how loud you play).

I play in an acoustic guitar/vocals duo. We love the new PA system. Have only used it once, but it surprised me with it’s nice bass response. We brought with us an Ampeg bass amp to connect to the subwoofer output.

I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to get the nice low end from my Martin D-35. We could just barely turn up the Ampeg before it would feedback. Turns out we didn’t need it. The compact Peavey speakers sounded great.

The stands included are a little wimpy and IMO are not high enough for proper sound dispersion. But we already had a bigger set of tripods that the speakers would fit on as there are two sizes of mounting holes in the cabinets.

I compared this unit to the Yamaha. The Escort has better tone controls for each channel, seven XLR inputs compared to four in the Yamaha, and external monitor and subwoofer outputs lacking in the Yamaha.

Again, there is no monitor output on the Yamaha! The Escort’s monitor out is not a separate mix – it gives you what you are putting out to your main speakers. Given a simple setup like ours, this is really ideal.

You hear in your monitor what the audience is hearing. What the Escort mixer won’t do is mount to the back of a speaker cabinet like the Yamaha is supposed to do. Not a biggie for us since we like to have the controls down on the floor or table in easy reach.

The only bad thing I can say about the Escort at this point in time is that we at first thought the reverb wasn’t working. Finally we cranked it all the way up and could hear it, but it wasn’t very prominent although still useful.

Unless we have a defective reverb send, you won’t like it if you saturate your sound in reverb. All in all, this unit will make traveling to the places we play as well as the setup easier without the audio quality suffering.

And everything is a lot lighter than the old gear we were toting around. As long as the amplifier holds up as well as the other Peavey powered mixer we have has done, we will be very happy for years to come with the Peavey Escort!.

You never know when you might need it! This is a great system to own. Great for speaking engagements and as a back-up system. It fits in any car, is self-contained and delivers enough power to keep a small venue with music.

Great for additional speakers when needed. I like them so much, I own two systems!.

My son ordered this for himself with birthday money and was thrilled with how quickly it came and that it was in brand new condition – we weren’t sure based on other reviews. He loves how compact it is and the features it has.

The sound is great and, although the base isn’t super strong, it’s there and good. He hopes to DJ parties with this.

I have used my Samson Portable PA twice. Both time a success. One was for an outdoor gathering of authors for a reading of their works. It worked great, no need for cords or fussing. The second use was for a chili cookoff where the MC ranged far and wide away from the PA to talk to the participants.

Only briefly did he get a little far and there were a few crackles until he moved back within range – which was a long way. Both times I used the bluetooth feature to play music from smartphones. Never ran out of battery power.

I also use it on a regular basis in my home for playing guitar and singing tunes. It is a great way to hear what I sound like. Thanks Sam Ash. JAS.

I use this speaker in addition to another portable speaker for outside live singing performances. This baby has got some power in it! Such a well built convenient speaker. Only downfalls are the lack of audio in jack, and the weight of the speaker.

This are easily overlooked by what else the speaker offers. I plan on getting very good use out of this.

I originally bought this for outdoor acoustic gigs where I knew there was no power. I wanted to plug a guitar into one input and use the wireless mic and be able to use the built in echo for both. The echo is barely usable; it doesn’t sound great and not very tweakable.

Also it only works on channels 1 and 3, so if you are trying to use a mandolin or 2nd guitar and go into input 2, no echo. Also, input 2 is a 3. 5mm line level input. I wish it was a duplicate of input 1.

The EQ is overall, so if you tweak it up for the guitar, the mic may not sound great. The wireless mic that comes with it actually sounds very good. The battery only seemed to last about 6 hours, not the advertised 12.

You can bluetooth your phone to it to play music and use the mic to sing along with it, so instant Karaoke machine. Sound quality overall very good. Lightweight and loud enough. The ducking feature is cool but I wish it would take a little longer to release, so as to better handle the pauses in normal speech.

In summary, if the mixer section was better, this thing would be perfect.
