20 Best Pa System For Karaoke (2022 Updated)

When I received the unit, I plugged everything in expecting to have to spend alot of time tweaking the sound. Once I had music going through it, I was blown away by the sound, considering the cost of it.

It was easy to set up, and I spent a full two minutes adjusting the equalizer to have the music sound perfect. All parts of this unit is built well. even the microphones are metal, not plastic. If you are looking for great sound at an excellent price, look no further!.

I use the system for community events and for when I play outdoor gigs. It gives sufficient power for small venues such as open mic nights at local bars and restaurants. Would not suggest it for a full rock or country band.

However, if you are looking for an affordable option for acoustic events with one or two players, this provides a good option.

I am a Dj/Kj . I have many systems. Bought this for my personal use. Has great sound my a small unit. The exfect are not much to talk about . But over all good system.

Sound: It does have good sound for as small as it is. Ease of Use: You will need external preamps for guitars and mics if you want to get good sound and enough volume Quality: Seems to be made well. I’ve had it about a year now with no issues as far as it working when I need it.

Value: A little over priced in my opinion. The Wow Factor: Very portable which is really nice. And Bluetooth is a nice feature Overall: The reverb is useless, and the preamps are very weak. That being said I use a pram pedal for my acoustic guitar and a vocal processor/preamp and can get decent sound out of it.

Playing music through Bluetooth is a different story though it sounds pretty good and gets fairly loud. For live music it’s better used as a monitor system or for playing at the local manor for the old folks.

Lol the sound quality is decent.

I’ve played my Les Paul thru it, my classical/electric thru it, sang thru it & listened to YouTube thru it. This EON is incredible. The 8″ speakers put out ear-piercing 300 watts of sound. Plenty for any backyard party or indoor party.

The setting which includes reverb balance it all for any tone you want. Even though you can play your electric axe thru it, the EON is not designed for this. The Les Paul sounded too bright, even after adjusting the EQ settings.

You can get by if you need a quick plug-in to work on a song with out plugging into another amp. Each channel has its own settings. The EON is very portable & snaps together nicely in a suitcase-style fashion, making it easy to carry, set up & take down.

The headphone input is nice & puts out great sound, just like the speakers. I keep the mixer & speakers apart in the bedroom for solitude practicing & listening to YouTube. Then, I just snap it all together & go.

when I discovered this had Bluetooth, I was sold right there! You can play along with any song thru your mobile device. The Bluetooth does not interfere with my XViVe U2 wireless transmitter & receiver.

Vocally, the sounds are awsum, too. The accompanying AKG vocal mic works brilliantly! The speakers have a 38mm pole socket for mounting onto speaker poles for maximum outreach. They’re also light enough to sit on any cabinet or table.

The 2 speaker cables, wall cable, AKG mic & mic cord all fit in a nice, stow-away compartment behind the mixer. Bottom line: I recommend this for any singer-songwriter, DJ, or party host. The price is worth it with the Bluetooth capability.

I first purchased this speaker on 9/15/18. On the night of 9/15/18, the same day I bought it, the speaker gave me trouble at a paid gig when we couldn’t hear the music come out of the speaker. Thankfully I was DJ’ing a close friend’s 50th birthday party, and I told them I would drive home (10 miles drive, 20 minutes each way) to get my two reliable (but heavy) EV speakers.

Halfway en route from party to home, I got a call from the party that they got speaker to work and to return to the party. Turns out the speakers weren’t aligned correctly. I began DJ’ing half an hour later than I was hired.

I bought this speaker to use at small events. It gave me trouble again when it would not play even though the XLR cables were connected correctly from my mixer. I turned the JBL speaker off and then back on, and it then started playing.

I was hired to DJ a small outdoor wedding on September 29, 2019 for which I was relying on this speaker for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The night before the wedding, I connected the speaker to my Pioneer DDJ-SSR mixer with the two XLR cables.

No sounds. I did trouble-shooting, replacing XLR cables in case it was the cables, nothing. I connected my laptop to the JBL with an aux cord, nothing. No sound at all. We had to use a small portable bluetooth speaker for the wedding ceremony, which was barely audible.

The JBL FAILED ME COMPLETELY. I am not happy with this product at all and should have purchased a Bose as advised by friends in the DJ business, but was convinced at Guitar Center that the JBL would be a better fit for me.

Unfortunately it is the most unreliable product I’ve ever purchased in my DJ career, not to mention super expensive. I don’t mind paying money for reliable products, but wasting money on garbage is painful.

Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty/insurance from Guitar Center. Unfortunately, Guitar Center makes you ship the speaker via UPS, a huge inconvenience since you have to find a way to wrap up the speaker and box it yourself, since UPS charges $60 to do it.

Had I known what an inconvenience and nightmare this purchase would cause me, I would have never in a million years purchased it.

I am 69 years old. I have been a practicing musician for over 50 years. Needless to say, I have had just about one of every thing when it comes to PA systems. I even currently own the very new and highly acclaimed.

Turbosound IP 2000. I bought the BA 330, because I need something east to carry around. It is light and I love the handle on the top, which allows me to carry it with one hand. I practice in an empty garage with a 12 foot ceiling.

This Roland beautifully does everything that it is supposed to do. Very nice sound all around. I usually use a mixer, but found I don’t really need one, now!! I make my own tracks and and play them thru a Roland cd/sd recorder, which sits on top of the BA 330.

My microphone is the Heil PR 22. Can’t get any better than that for simplicity. Thanks Roland. I have a Fantom G8 and a very, very, rare Roland Vima RK 300. Hope to buy the new FP90 soon. Regards, Keith AKA Major Pikespete.

Overall: We are going to be using this for parties and demonstrations in our facility. It has good sound, easy to use but has no instructions in the packaging. Thankfully I have been involved in live sound to know the basics for this unit.

The storage and main mixer being stored in the speaker is ingenious. The stands that came with it are sturdy, but do not lock in, so when moving the speakers you have to hold on to the speaker and stand at the same time.

Not a huge deal but minor gripes. This unit is still very awesome and I would recommend to anyone looking for a PA system of this size.

I purchased the PA15 for listening to music at moderate levels and for Karaoke night with the family. The speaker performs these tasks terrifically! The PA15 is solidly made of MDF, has four Caster wheels and a sturdy retractable handle.

I’ve returned two other PA speakers of this type due to inferior plastic construction. A removable battery accessible outside of the speaker for easy swap out or replacement would have been a plus but definitely not a deal breaker.

Bought two and get really loud and sounds pretty good but my problem is that the main isn’t as loud as the slave about 20-30db lower. company has no solutions and I have a celebration of life I wanted to use them for.

I even switch it to a different source and still them same. No offer to send another one. so customer service is a little sketchy to me. will see if my rating go up or down with in th next few weeks.

I just bought stands for them and they are back killers to put on stands.

Extremely powerful and efficient. The bass is very deep. High tones sound bright and clear. I want to open it loudly to make my neighbor crazy. Thanks to Anthony D’Amore and his colleagues for creating a great beast.

Opened the box to find the Pyle blue tooth speaker. It was much smaller than we thought. Works great and Pyle should let people know how small it. There are different sizes. We know what we bought. But we did not realize How small it would be even after reading the size lol.

Works as expected, very loud for the small size. Not a lot of base but that was expected from specs and other reviews.

I wanted to karaoke and been in search for a cheap solution that doesn’t cost hundred of dollars. I bought one of those Bluetooth microphone with speakers but the sound quality was bad. I then decided to buy a few wireless mic and connect to an existing Bluetooth speaker and use my phone to stream the music while looking up lyrics, but that’s when i discovered this JYX speaker.

This portal Bluetooth speaker has decent sound quality for it’s price but what sold me was the two wireless mic that’s already connected!! no fuss, just pop in the included battery and the mics are ready to go.

The size of the speaker is just right, not too big and not too small. I can see using this system for some fun karaoke nights. It also has some sort of record function and radio which is a great added bonus but not something i’ve tested.

I like that it charges USB-C which is becoming a new standard. Overall its a great all in one system for karaoke, great portability, and great price.

This karaoke machine more than surpassed my expectations. I only intended to use this for karaoke with the family, but the speaker is loud enough that I also use it with the projector for movie nights.

We purchased the large size and use it in the basement. I have not cranked the volume as it is loud enough at the halfway point. I cannot speak to the clarity of the speaker at max volume but like I said, it is loud enough at mid-range.

Maybe when we venture outdoors in the summer for movie night, I will turn the volume up. The wireless mics are nice but do not get too close to the speaker with them or you will lose an eardrum. A bonus feature is the system can charge your phone or tablet with USB C and USB A outputs.

We will definitely get plenty of use of this machine over the summer and hopefully for many years to come.

Every year we have a large party at our house for 3 days, usually we set up corn hole and use the Inground pool. This year my sons asked us to buy a karaoke machine for their friends, after doing some research, we decided on the JYX machine.

This machine is fantastic, not only is it a karaoke machine, it is also a awesme Bluetooth speaker. What is special about this product is the the wireless microphones (2) and the music to mic ratio, which is perfect.

Many times, when dealing with karaoke, either the mic or music volume is too little or too much, but this machine blends both perfectly. Also, the machine is extremely lightweight and comes with a carrying strap and handle, that makes moving around with it easy.

We highly recommend this machine to liven up any party or social function.

This item was delivered to me on 3/25/22, I took it back on 3/26/22. What a waste of money. It has no base to the speaker. It’s loud but without base it sounds like a clock radio. It’s very light and small.

I thought a microphone came with it but it doesn’t. The description is very misleading. Do not waste your money if you are trying to have a backyard party. The sound is horrible.

This is such potential. Lightweight and amazing. However, we received a product that looked as if it had been opened. The handle is broken. When we tried to plug it in to see if it worked, the sound was absolutely amazing.

I can’t lie about that. However, I thought it came with a mic and it didn’t. Also, the battery does not charge at all and stopped working after five minutes even if we plugged it in. Made several attempts to contact the seller with no reply.

Took it to Walmart now getting grief from him about the return. It’s a mess! I don’t recommend at all at this point.

Was having a hard time hearing videos through my projector speaker. The floor A/C units are too loud for the little speaker. This speaker does not not have that problem. I have to turn it down it is so loud.

It is a great compliment the projector.

I first got one in 2016 to play solo gigs. Got another one about two years later to expand for a duet. Just ordered another one to use as a monitor. Chaining is easy and sound is full (add a sub if you have live bass instruments going through them).

They’ve always worked for me through over a hundred gigs and they are incredibly versatile. There’s a reason why they’re rated so highly, Kustom hit on the perfect little box of sound formula. One of these will do a small room, up to fifty people.

Two of these can produce enough clear sound for a small theater, up to maybe 100 people. Four can create enough clear volume for small outdoor concerts, maybe up to 250 people.

This is an amazing system, fully worthy of the JBL name. The lock-together cases of the speakers and amplifier make it highly portable. The built in mixer and Bluetooth receiver make it even more so, with very fast setup.

The 300 watt specified power is deceiving, as the speakers sound like they’re putting out much more, but fidelity is great. Wish this had been available a long time ago when I bought my previous system, a heavy 900 watt amplifier, separate mixer, separate Bluetooth receiver, and non-integrating speakers.

This has got to be one of the best purchases I have ever made in my life. I play a lot of gigs at restaurants / bars and have been desperately searching for something powerful but portable. This system is even better than I could have ever hoped.

The functionality is as simple and user friendly as it gets, and the sounds is sensational. I am blown away by the power behind this thing. Im completely in love with it. (And it arrived extremely fast!).

I needed something for my daughter’s cheer team to use for rehearsals and in the gym performances. I’ve been a professional sound engineer for 30 years. They didn’t want to spend a lot of money. so. this thing has a ton of features.

1. It has a full mixing panel on the back with two mic inputs plus a guitar input plus a line iPod type input. Bass, treble controls plus separate bass /treble for the wireless microphone. 2. It has built-in FM radio.

3. It has very good Bluetooth connectivity. it has a female voice that speaks each time you change from one mode to another to help guide you through it. 3. it has a wireless microphone that while is not the best in the world it is far from being just a toy.

it’s actually a pretty decent microphone if you don’t get too close to it. the icing on the cake is that it has a rechargeable battery which means they don’t even have to run an AC cable out on the gym floor for it or to use on a patio.

it also has a 12-volt DC connector with a supplied cable if you wanted to hook it up to your car battery or 12-volt battery source. ( useful for the cheer team when they do their parades) The 12 inch speaker and the built-in treble horn tweeter do the job.

it’s not going to play subwoofer style bass if you’re trying to expect it to be useful for rap or hip-hop but for any other normal kind of music it does a great job. has Echo feature if you wanted to use it for karaoke.

it even records performances onto SD stick or memory card. It can also store and play your music from the SD card or the memory card, if you didn’t want to use a Bluetooth phone. It is actually full-featured enough that a musician could take it into a coffee house or wine bar and use it with a guitar and actually sing with the wireless microphone provided and not be embarrassed.

the most astounding thing is that it’s only $96. I can’t even imagine how they put all these features into this device and sell it for $96. The big question of course is the reliability and that remains to be seen as we’ve only had it for a short while.

I’m going to buy another one and probably recommend it to a lot of my friends who want decent patio sounding gear without spending a fortune on it. The cabinet looks very modern, and the metal grill, and all else seems made very quality made.

Its loud. Awesome for the price.

It has all of the same and much more user friendly features as the Hisonic PA system that recently died. However and I’m not certain that there could be an issue. There seems to be a problem of the breaking up of the audio sound when using the microphone.

It could be operator error, the adjustment of the controls, and the user manual needs some corrections since it often refers to its “blueteeth” capability. 😅🤣.

Big sound with a small foot print. This system is very capable for small venues. We will no longer require heavy main speakers or floor monitors. This system will do both for us. The other thing is that the sound is so rich and clear.

I have to say it was like truly hearing my voice for the first time. We did A/B this system at our home with a comparable Bose system. What we found was that the Bose was harder to control feedback when testing for maximum headroom.

The controls on the Yamaha made it easier to dial in. It is likely that we may purchase a second one to play larger rooms. FYI, I waited to post a review until we actually play a live show. Yamaha exceeded my expectations here.

I am a yamaha user since I started playing music professionally. From guitars to mixers, passive & powered speakers. Now that I do solo acoustic music, I grew fond of yamaha’s stagepas series. It’s compact, lots of power, storage, and powered mixer attached in the back.

It is very Ideal for a minimalist set up that I like but doesn’t sacrifice the sound quality. That is why I was a bit disappointed on the yamaha stagepas 1k, my favorite stagepas 500 sounded better than this one based on my experience.

I got excited since they affiliated this pa system as a “stagepas” with 1000w power (2x power than the stagepas500). I even asked GC to order 1 for me since they don’t have one in the store. Moving forward, I already have the 1k in my possession.

Tested it at home noticed that the peak indicator is a bit sensitive and often lights up bright red. I checked the volume on my guitar, mic and mix but it’s still flashing red in my test performance.

I told myself MEH maybe I was just not getting used to it yet so given that it is the ever reliable “stagepas” line up. I used it on my gig that night. It was a nightmare, I was sweating bullets cause the peaking irritates me, I just went through my first set with low volume and rushed back home to get my other PA system.

It’s sad to say that this is not a stagepas series quality of a system. They also removed the treble and bass control on the mixer and just replaced it with one knob, It reminded me of a JBL eon one line array which I sold after gigging it twice.

The idea is there and I am with you yamaha, you’re trying to get into the line array business. But as an long time enthusiast of your stagepas this is an “ok” built. It really needs improvement. I’m gonna return this.

This is based on a solo musician’s experience with the stagepas yamaha 1k. I don’t know how it perform on other types of use such as DJing etc.

Convenient to set up and tear down, sounds good. Wish it had a little more volume. Good product.

Great PA system. The sounds are rich, clean and loud if you want it. Has good bottom that does not crash out. You won’t be disapointed.

Love the product. I just did not receive all the components. Missing the iPad, iPhone, tablet holder that attaches to the mic stand, the RCA twisted wire and the second mic cord so I can only use two microphones.

The system is great but disappointing without the missing items. They want me to take a picture of what I received so they can see what was sent. The components to the system were all shipped separately, Speakers, then speaker stands, microphone stand that should have had the holder for the iPhone, iPad, etc, the four microphones with only one cord(each cord controls 2 microphones so with one missing I have a two microphone system), the corded microphone; so it is difficult to get a response from Rockville to resolve the issue if I don’t take a pic of all that I received.

Pros: This speaker has some awesome features for any device of its type. You can play music from your cellphone, via Bluetooth connections. Any standard MP3 player with RCA audio connections & iPhone especially due to it’s interface.

It has a built-in FM radio & Wireless & Wired microphone connections. Cons: There is considerable “feedback” present when using the wireless microphones, in certain modes no matter where you locate the unit.

But you just have to make some adjustments to the controls to minimize the noise to an acceptable level. ALSO, the speaker that is included with this box is an “under-achiever” to say the least. It has a tendency to distort when setting the level too high.

That’s not unusual perhaps, but we used a cheap guitar amplifier that we tried with the wireless microphones that truly out-performed this speaker Finally: In spite of the negatives, because of the features included in the speaker, I would still recommend this item to a friend.

If it was truly important to me, I would probably replace the internal speaker with a replacement speaker designed for a musical instrument or a PA amplifier. I’m happy with the purchase so far.
