20 Best Pacifiers For Oral Development (2022 Updated)

This is a must have for the little one. It is soft, plush, “hairs” allows for sensory development for the baby. When rocking my son to sleep or get him back to sleep this has been a go to. Initially it took a little while for him to get used to the nipple but once he got it he loved it.

This became his 2nd favorite then first favorite pacifier. Now that he’s older (4 months) he loves holding it while he sleeps. Big downside it has become a little dirty and it is not mashing washable.

You can was with cloth but I’d prefer machine washable thus I would not have purchased If I were aware. I got the lion half price so it’s been worth every penny. I’ve seen some brands that do not offer the pacifier with the attachment.

My baby loves her Lovey unicorn and this definitely is our go to pacifier holder. I like that she can hold the unicorn plush without knocking the pacifier out of her mouth, there’s room for movement unlike other pacifier holders.

My only complaint is that the Velcro wore off and now doesn’t hold the pacifier, so now we’re purchasing our second Lovey. Stronger Velcro would make it a 5 star item.

Love the pacifier and the lovey but after 5 months the velcro wore out. There isn’t anything in the velcro nor has there ever been. The pacifier doesn’t stay attached anymore. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Hopefully that is something that can be changed in the future. I understand getting rid of the snaps due to a choking hazard but maybe ties or as stated earlier stronger velcro. Other than that great product.

My son loves his dino.

I started using these “binkys” 10 years ago with my special needs daughter who was a feeding tube baby. It was the only one she would take. Plus they were easy to clean and sterilize. I found a ton of comfort in knowing they were the top rated pacifier to prevent SIDS then and even now, 10 years later when I’m using them for my 20 month old.

Naturally I went for MAM from the very beginning with my son when he was born and he has preferred them over any other binkys. But the glow in the dark ones!! Gahh. Could we have not had these 10 years ago?! They have saved me so so many times in the middle of the night.

I can even find them without having to put my glasses on, haha, that’s huge. Never once have I had an issue with them rubbing or irritating my babies little sensitive skin either. Love MAM and plan to use them with our baby due in July!!.

These are the best pacifiers for my baby. I have tried other brands and my son will not take them so on every trip to Target we grab a new set of Mam pacifiers. We love the Mam bottle as well; these bottles are amazing my son loves them.

we were having a hard time with the other bottle nipples and when he tried the MAM ones he grab them perfectly and fed so well. The airy design of these pacifiers works perfectly for my son especially since he has big cheeks these pacifiers form perfectly around his mouth.

Highly recommend any product of MAM! Their designs are so cute!!! They are the best! A gift was offered in exchange for a review as part of a sampling program.

Must have! My baby has tried many other pacifiers, but has constantly woken up through the night because they don’t stay in his mouth. The shape of these pacifiers makes it easier to keep in his mouth after he falls asleep.

Once it falls out, he’s sleeping so hard that he barely notices, or he’s already pushed it out. The shape of these pacifiers works so well in my baby’s mouth that we have already decided that this is the brand for us! The air flow on this pacifier is great.

We have not had any issues with a rash around the mouth at all. The only thing is that the ring makes it really easy for baby to grab it and pull it out of his mouth. If that could be eliminated, these would be flawless!.

When my daughter was first born, she wouldn’t take a pacifier. Some moms would be thankful for that- but my baby was high-energy from the beginning and needed the soothing- without the pacifier it was ME 24/7 doing the soothing! I tried several brands, but she would take nothing! Then someone gave us our first WubbaNub.

The benefit was INSTANT with this “binkie”. The brown puppy WubbaNub pacifier is a great little soother. This stuffed animal has a sewn-in pacifier that is made of medical grade silicone. It is BPA, latex and Phthalate free. The pacifier is the standard Phillips Avent soothie, for little ones, 0-6 months old.

The puppy and pacifier are small, just about the size of my hand (I wear a size small glove), and is relatively light weight. The material is soft, and stitching appears to be off good quality. My little guy is 6 weeks old and only uses this one when he is in his bouncer or swing.

The toy is light, but if he sits up a little bit(car seat), the weight of the stuffed animal pulls the soothie out off his mouth. I think that will become less of an issues as he gets a little older.

The WubbaNub can be washed in the washer, override a laundry net, or by hand. You have to air dry it because the dryer can damage and crack the soothie itself. My little one spit up on it within the first couple of days and I washed it and the fabric tolerated it well.

Overall I really love the product and am thinking about getting him an additional one. There are many different WubbaNubs to choose from, including puppies in different colors, little bears, ducks, frogs, penguins, dragons as well as a monkey, elephant, giraffe, fox and kitten.

There really is one WubbaNub for every baby!.

I purchased this by mistake because I had seen pacifier holders for sale online elsewhere that come with a removable Philips Avent Soothie pacifier (Philips Avent brand “Snuggle Pacifier Holder”) and got them mixed up in store.

This product (Wubbanub) has a non-removable Philips Avent Soothie pacifier that is rated for ages 0-3 months (as imprinted on the pacifier), even though the package for the Wubbanub claims it is suitable for ages 0-6 months (Philips Avent sells different pacifiers suitable for ages 3 months).

In addition, the pacifier manufacturer recommends replacing a pacifier after 4 weeks of use. Therefore, once a child passes 3 months of age and/or has used this for 4 weeks the permanently attached pacifier becomes useless, rendering the whole thing useless.

I am debating whether to let my child use this for even a short time in case she gets attached to it by the time I have to throw it out.

I wish I had bought this months ago! Don’t let the negative reviews scare you – this is an amazing product. Not one of my three boys would have anything to do with Avent-style pacis and I was so bummed to find that the nubbawubbas wouldn’t work with any other brand.

The fact that you can use any paci with it was the biggest initial selling point. What I didn’t expect was how much my 3mo son’s little hands would enjoy playing with it. There multiple different textures to touch for enrichment and it has really encouraged my son to engage his little hands.

I was initially concerned about that possibly overwhelming him, but the extra little bit of stimulation actually seems to comfort my baby as well. We just bought this earlier today and he’s fallen asleep twice hugging it.

That’s a major all-around win for us!.

Hello! I’m going to start by saying, I’m leaving this review because these are life savers for my son! My son nursed until he was almost 3 and it wasn’t until shortly after that that he had gotten diagnosed with Autism.

I didn’t realize until well after his diagnosis (in hindsight) just how much of his nursing was comfort nursing and now am realizing that using his Pacifier is actually a stim for him! When he was a baby he would nurse for what felt like hours on end (don’t get me wrong, I completely miss nursing my sweet baby :’]) until he fell asleep.

Then, and only then, could I very quickly switch from nursing to his ‘titi’. These are the only pacifiers my son will use and I 100% believe it’s because of their shape and the fact that he nursed for so long.

Let me tell you, when I say only. I mean the ONLY pacis he will use! If they sell it in a store, chances are we’ve tried it only for it to be immediately rejected! I’ve even had to prime these when he’s lost one and my local stores don’t have them (they are hard to find in the 16+!!!) Because if he doesn’t have it when he starts to get exhausted or just needs his stim he completely and totally meltsdown and these are the only thing that will calm him.

I love that they are orthodontic pacifiers, he is now almost 5 and his teeth are absolutely perfect even with using a mam paci nightly and frequently throughout the day for a few years now. He loves the different colors and patterns and when it comes time to choose new ones, I always let him pick what are his favorites.

The biggest ‘pro’ for these pacifiers is how AFFORDABLE they are. Not only are you getting an amazing quality pacifier that lasts and doesn’t ruin your babes teeth, the absolute biggest thing for me is the VALUE you get with how affordable they are.

I’m a single mom so constantly having to buy these for my son can be costly but these are absolutely INVALUABLE to me because of how well they work for my little dude and how comforting they can be for him.

I am so beyond grateful to mam for making such a high quality pacifier at such an affordable price. I am definitely going to be a customer for as long as my son wants his pacifiers and for any of my future babies! You definitely have a customer for life MAM!!.

I bought my first MAM bottle 4 years ago, I have since refused to buy any other pacifier or bottle. I bought the baby bottles, soppy cups, infant through toddler pacifiers. My daughter was born at 36 weeks and her main issue was she would not wake to eat.

But while I power pumped she would ONLY suck on a MAM pacifier. The nipple was so close to my own that switching back from bottles to my breast was so easy I was in shock. She refused any bottle or pacifier that was not MAM.

She used them while we breastfed through 8 months then seamlessly transition Ed into bottles. And at 12 months switched to strictly MAM soppy cups. I have sung the praises about how I believe MAM products saved my daughter from starving in the NICU, to many new mommies in the last 4 years.

My daughter turns 4 in a few days actually and we are expecting a new baby in 8 months. I will again, only be using MAM products. I’m very serious about how much I love my MAM. I have bragged on social media and in person.

They are the only products I can buy for new moms for baby showers. I can give my word that these bottles WILL NOT leak. They are amazingly durable. They never gave me difficulty trying to clean them.

Even if the occasional bottle got lost and started to stink I never had to worry about them being too hard to remove the smell. They went right back to being perfect. I would bet my life on these bottles.

They really are incredible and never once did I ever have to worry about them like I’ve had to when feeding my friends babies. The Dr. Browns bottles leaked EVERY SINGLE TIME I tried to feed a baby I baby sat for.

They drove me nuts. But I could drop a MAM bottle 2 stories abd it’s still be just fine. And I say all this not even covering they way they basically leave ZERO bubbles after shaking formula. Then the suction removes any air left.

My daughter never had gas issues. NEVER and I owe that all to MAM. Oh and the shape and size are so easy for them to learn to hold their own bottle. And they are SO SO SO CUTE!!!!!.

I just started using the MAM Products a little over 9 months ago with my “5 baby” & I couldn’t be happier with them. I just wish I would have knew about MAM stuff sooner !!! Especially the binkies / Pacifiers.

My Little girl will not use anything else!! have try when we first come home from the hosp. I loss the darn thing& tried diff. 1 that I thought would be almost the same & she wanted nothing to do wt.

An I would know after 5 little one. I have try them all from the most Expensive to the Cheapest. You must try MAM you will love them too just as we do!!.

I got this pacifier thinking this is going to be another waste. My almost 3 months baby hates pacifiers, bottles. Basically anything other than my boobs. So far we’ve tried Avent, Tommi tippie (the new breast like one and the normal one) itzy ritzy (which she likes a little bit) MAM, Nuk, avent soothers, dr brown.

Non worked. Then my husband insisted that we should try this one too. When I first received, I loved it because of its look and how soft it is. She didn’t like it initially but kept trying it. Because I mean if she is not taking this one there is actually nothing would work.

It is so soft and won’t rub on her face. She finally took it and it doesn’t comes out of her. I am so glad we finally found a pacifier and bottle (Olababy) for our EBF and very picky and stubborn baby girl.

My only complain is the price.

I have a set in purple (purchased from a different store), with 1 unused in the no. and I purchased a set from Kiin in a different colour (white) to swap up. Both size 1. The inconsistency in these dummies sizing is extremely noticeable.

My unused purple one is so much bigger and the white ones so small. I’m assuming that the white ones are correct but having already used one of the purple ones, my daughter is used to that size now but looking at photos online the size doesn’t match any of the BIBS ones.

It’s very odd. Frustrating. There’s obviously been a manufacturing error.

We started with the newborn sized MAM pacifiers and they were the only pacifier to be accepted by our son and our daughter! The other ones they would just kind of gnaw on for a couple of seconds and make faces then just spit them out.

The MAM actually keeps them occupied and they get a good suck on them to keep them in! Such a blessing as before MAM they both used me as their pacifier to try to sleep! These pacifiers are great and I love the glow in the dark ones! I hate to try to fumble around in the middle of the night trying to feel for a pacifier I can’t see at all and I don’t like to turn on a light and wake the kiddos (no one wants to deal with that at 2am).

Also my son is easily able to grab these and get them in himself with the large open spaces. He also loves to play with the button when he’s sucking on it which is nice since he’s occupied. In short these pacifiers have been life changing for us! Get the glow in the dark ones 100% worth it!.

I recieved a 2 pack of these pacifiers as a gift for my one year old and she loves them. I initially was in love with the cuteness of the design but there are a few drawbacks. I usually only use full silicone pacifiers because unfortunately just like almost every other pacifier in the market, it did get stuff inside the clear part.

I saw some dirt and mold (after washing fir a while) and to me I think it’s unsanitary. I am not a fan of the general shape of the pacifier; or basically all mam products bc they kind of look like little lollipops.

It might just be the overprotective mom in me; but I don’t want her to think anything rounded like that is ok to go in her mouth. Otherwise perfect. She loves it. Soothes her instantly.

These dummies are the best! I decided on using these dummies for my littlest boy as I use the mam bottle and didn’t want my wee one getting confused with different teats. He took to it instantly and uses the dummies to soothe him over to sleep.

The little plastic box they come in, not only makes it easy to transport the dummies, but also makes sterilising them between uses extremely straight forward. Just add some water to the tray and pop them in the microwave for 3 minutes.

The best feature however has to be the fact that they glow in the dark! Those middle of the night wake up calls because my little one has lost his dummy are easily solved with I can quickly locate the dummy without having to turn the light on and wake him up more than necessary.

Once he has his dummy back, he generally goes straight back over.

We originally stocked up on Ryan & Rose pacifiers. Our infant wouldn’t take it. (here’s hoping in the future) so then we tried the Advent Soothie. Those seemed to work for a few weeks but it still didn’t stay in great.

So then we tried the MAM and it was perfect. Every baby is different so sometimes trying a bunch is normal. Our 4 weeks old loved these. However momma ( me) didn’t like that there was only character ones.

It didn’t look very “pretty”. Found these FINALLY and it was the last one on the shelves so I grabbed them up. My 8 weeks old loves it. Same ones he’s been using 0-6 months and it’s a solid color! Love the matte finish.

The youngest person in my household is also the one who knows what he likes and what he doesn’t. I had used another brand of soothers previously and I was therefore doubtful that he would take to these even though he one has one at nap times and bed.

Thankfully I was completely wrong and took to it straight away. I always look for signs of approval from an orthodentist so that was a major plus factor for me with these and the fact that they only take a few mins to sterilise in the microwave is a nice touch! (let’s be honest what parent normally has the time to wait on a dummy sterilising?!) The nice colourful design was an added bonus to a wonderful product!.

I can highly recommend these soothers. They seem to have the desired and easily accepted nipple shape made with soft and textured silicone. I loved the fact it can be easily found in the dark as there is nothing more stressful at night, than looking for a lost dummy.

The biggest advantage is the design allowing the air flow when soother is in use, which stops any rashes appearing around the gentle mouth area. I did not find any disadvantages hence I can fully recommend them.

I give this rating because of I am very happy with this Product, I love the idea of storage box and same time is use for sterilising. Thanks to the holes in the dummy my son doesn’t have any more pimples from sweat and reflected mark from dummy, my son like the colors and is big so it’s easy for him to hold it.

The structure of dummy is different than his previous one and was little bit difficult convinc my son to new one but eventually it worked. Now this is his favourite.

I’m not giving the 1 star for the product itself. It deserves 5, but for stopping old products. I certainly don’t disapprove of bringing out new products but PLEASE don’t discontinue old products. Orthodontic Latex pacifiers are extremely difficult to come by in the USA and in Europe.

I bought the original one for my son who is now 21mths and I need a new batch. I can no longer buy them in the UK and noticed that in the USA there is a new version out. I can tell you that most 18month olds will not take a pacifier that doesn’t look exactly like his “old” one, if the nipple is not the same then it will be spat out and forgotten.

Please bring out new products, but don’t stop making the old ones. The Binky (even though not so well known in Europe) is a very high quality pacifier that should be marketed over here. I live in Belgium, most pacifiers are bought in pharmacies in mainland Europe and they are all silicone.

I think latex is softer, and more comfortable in a babies mouth. bring Binkies over here, especially the original one !.

After purchasing almost every brand of pacifier, to break my preemie away from the big green soothie that covered his nose, he took the latex original binky. I had the nurses in the nicu using the playex nurser with drop ins to reduce his gassiness and I used those bottles with my other five children as well.

So, we’re a Playtex family, but the nipple on this pacifier is too short. When my son who is 3 weeks adjusted now (9 weeks early) sucks on it, it leaves marks on his face. I think if you made the nipple a little longer and the outer rim softer it would be perfect! Latex is sooo much softer than silicone and has a texture that helps my son keep it in his mouth.

Please make those slight changes, so we can keep using them!.

It’s hard enough being a first time, single non but with Playtex products life’s been much easier! After I stopped nursing my little one the only nipple he would take was Playtex. They’re so soft and breast-like.

We love the natural & angled the best. My LO has to have his Playtex binky at night to go to sleep. They’re fun patterns & orthopedic shapes are reason enough to stock up on them. He’ll take no other.

His binky is his soothie& comfort! I’d recommend these products to anyone! My cousin just had her little man and now all his bottles & binkies are Playtex, after seeing for herself how wonderful they are.

Go ahead, switch to Playtex. They hold the value. Mommy & baby approved!.

These are cute and aesthetic- which is all people care about nowadays BUT these pacifiers get really gross. Water got into the nipple but the day we opened and boiled them! Lint gets caught on the tiny seems and around the nipple as well! We used them like that for some time but it would have better just to get different ones from the start 😖.

It is really hard for me to find a good natural rubber pacifier in this country. After a little research I found the best one! My baby hates the hard silicone ones that you can get at any store, she will not suck on it.

This is the only one that calms her down.
