20 Best Pads For Urinary Incontinence (2022 Updated)

I purchased the pads to take with me on a cruise so I could be certain of no accidents. I used 3 pads one each day and had to stop because my skin turned red and was itchy and skin was starting to peel off.

I had a very bad reaction to the pads. I don’t think they were really made for those of us that can be allergic to pads. I had previously used Poise and it took the me and my dermatologist several months to clear things up.

Having had that problem I knew I was having an allergic reaction to your pads and stopped using them immediately (only 3 pads). I am sorry I can’t give a glowing review but I had a terrible experience and am still working on clearing up this problem.

Mixed review. comfort was great. Pad soft and fluffy. Coverage area of pad great. However, the pad does not wick away wetness so there can be some leakage. they are now an alternate to my regular pads due to comfort.

My mother was having a difficult time finding a liner than would not cause her irritation and discomfort. I found these online and ordered a trial pack for her. They are wonderful! No irritation what so ever.

I have since ordered a case and will continue to keep them coming for her!.

Due to having kids, weight, and several abdominal surgeries I tend to have bladder leakage issues. Mostly during fits of laughing, coughing, or even when jumping on the trampoline with the kids. When I need to “go”, I NEED TO GO!!! So when we are traveling and there’s long stretches of driving between restroom stops, can be an issue for me, not in the car, but once I attempt to get out of the car and head towards the nearest restroom.

You know the feeling if your reading this, it’s like the “duck” walk, or try to cross your legs and walk kind of thing, yet your trying to act like your fine and dandy, yet you can feel the leakage starting and know your not going to get into the restroom, before leakage does occur! If you have had this happen, you understand the embarrassment etc.

These are definitely times I prefer the heavier pads, because this is the type of situation where I will need it the most! First and foremost, I do buy a variety (light, moderate, heavy etc) of bladder leakage type of pads.

Depending on the situation. I always wear one, if I’m home I wear the lightest ones, because I’m able to go the rest as needed, but still want some protection just in case , I’m not quite quick enough! Regardless of where you are at, who wants to have to go change clothes, or always carry a spare set with you, due to leakage issues.

NO one wants to smell like urine, because of a small amount of leakage. Either way, regardless of your personal leakage issues, there’s a size for everyone’s specific needs. I have tried the light or moderate (which I use at home, or when I know I will always be close to a restroom at a given time), the maximum and the ultimate when I know I’m going to farther from a bathroom location, when the need hits, such as amusement parks, road trips, or work.

These are definitely places I don’t have time to deal with an accident occurring. This my first experience with using the Medline Fitright Incontinence Bladder Control Pads. Packaging for each individual pad was fine.

With using, I had not issues with them, they definitely absorbed any urine leakages I personally had. The Ultimate size did seem a bit bulky, therefore felt awkward and a bit uncomfortable to me personally.

I also felt that they could be a tad bit more sticky, I had a couple of issues where the front top edge of the pad, seemed to con “unstuck” and curl a bit (mind you, this did not interfere with controlling any leaks I encountered), but was a nuisance because of sticking to hair, I with the “light” size pad.

All in all, these pads, while wearing, did what they were designed to do, which was to keep me and my clothing dry. Which makes me feel safe, carefree and confident regardless of what I was doing or where I was going, which is always a good feeling! If you have urine leakage of any amount, I definitely say give these a try.

I have finally settled into a pad. I have a neurological disease which necessitates bladder pads. I’ve tried atleast a few dozen brands of pads but like this one the best. My *ONLY* complaint is that this brand arrives late.

So, if you’re like me and these are a medical necessity be aware that any order will be late and keep something in reserve. I’d really like to tell the seller that this is 100% UNACCEPTABLE. More than once (including my current order which is A WEEK LATE) order has been late leaving me to pee my pants.

No matter how much I like this product, I am unsure the cost of compromising my health is an OK cost. I may switch to a much inferior product to make sure I have a product at all.

Unfortunately, between a complex spinal injury and two children thrown into the mix, i suffer from incontinence issues a little more than your average person. needless to say, i have tried a variety of different brands, absorbancies, lengths, etc of this type of product.

a big factor for me is comfort – i don’t want to feel like i’m wearing a diaper. it is sometimes difficult to find the balance between this comfort while maintaining an appropriate level of absorbency.

with this in mind, i stuck with the lowest two absorbancies i was sent to try, with the second highest being even a little too thick for my liking (i will be holding onto the thicker ones for my current pregnancy/post delivery, when things tend to pick up for me).

the lightest absorbency worked well for my needs and contained any accidents i had. they allowed for extended wear, where some others have fallen quite short. another plus of this brand was that it didn’t become fuzzy or leave any cotton-y residue behind, which can certainly happen and is an added annoyance.

I received these pads totally free free from Influenster in order to leave my honest review. I found each pad size (except the extra large that was too big to wear) to be very absorbent and they didn’t leak at all, even though the pads didn’t have wings.

They were also very comfortable to wear except for the largest size which was just too large for me as I am very small with a small frame. I was very surprised how comfortable they were as most pads are a little irritating.

I think if they have a version with wings that would be perfect! I appreciate being able to try something like this. After having children your bladder just doesn’t work like it used to and it was great to try a type of new pad.

The largest size needs reworked in its design in my opinion because it was just too big and bulky to wear. Otherwise they were good and I definitely give them a thumbs up! 👍.

To be honest, all f the pads in the sample box were too big for what I need. I normally use a very thin panty liner. However, I tried the smallest one and it worked great. For the larger, I used water to see how much they would hold.

Wowzers, did they ever hold a ton of water. The largest one, I poured several small (4 oz) cups of water on and it continued absorbing. I think I used about 6 cups before it was saturated. It would definitely catch urine from a sudden bladder leak.

They are all very absorbent. I do think the largest might be best for someone who isn’t active, though. They are huge. I believe the underwear (Wasn’t included in the test) might be better for an active person with loss of bladder control.

Overall, these are great products.

My elderly, blind 9 pound chihuahua had 2 strokes 6 months apart and could no longer maneuver to go down his carpeted and side netted ramp to do his business in back yard like he did for first 3 years of being blind.

So my hardwood floors started to suffer despite my best efforts. I tried all kinds of cloth dog diapers (YUK!) Very thick and super stinky to wash smell out of and with a dog peeing 6 to 10 times a day? Nope, forget it.

I tried All-Absorb Disposable male wrap diapers, they worked ok, but not super absorbent for times when I wasn’t home to change them immediately. So yeah, Gross, leaks on his bed and blankets. I tried ALL Kinds of Feminine Pads, it was Hit and Miss still and despite them saying they were non-scented, my dog started to have blood in his urine and multiple trips to vet.

I finally tried these Options Pads, Size Regular, and using them inside of an All-Absorb Super Absorbing Disposable Male Wrap, finally works both physically for the dog and financially for me. I stretch out the elastic bands on a fresh disposable wrap and then stretch out the sides of these Option pads and smooth them inside the male wrap carefully.

He can pee 2 to 3 times in 1 pad and he is NOT WET, and Not leaking and NOT BLEEDING anymore. I only go through 1 actual All-absorb disposable male wrap per 24 hour period, and just keep replacing these Option pads every few hours, usually after about 2 pees or when he wakes up from a long sleep.

Hope this helps someone else with a small, bladder incontinent dog. My Dog is Happy and Dry and My Wallet is in much better shape too. Since figuring this out, I don’t have problems of him suffering from elastic pinching or diaper slipping off him like I did with cloth dog diaper wraps.

After being severely incontinent for the past 5 yrs, needing to wear full Depends, was very pleasantly surprised to discover it was caused by my muscle relaxants prescribed. When the muscle relaxant dosage was cut in half, found I was no longer incontinent.

I even got to order REAL panties. I bought pads to wear in the panties as a safety net, so to speak. I 1st bought reg. Poise with wings, I’d mistakenly thought I’d purchased Longs, finding them too short and the wings made the crotch area of the panties too tight and narrow, pinching my groin.

Very uncomfortable. Much like my Depends had felt. When ordering these, found them to be the perfect length with great adhesion. It DID take a bit of practice mastering the correct placement in my panties.

They’re in my opinion, at least as good as the Poise, if not better, and at a very good price. I even bought 2 pkgs. of them so I’ll never run out. Those along with the 12 prs. of panties bought, have me all set for a VERY, VERY long time.

I really recommend this brand. I love Walmart’s “Options” and can honestly recommend them to everyone. I highly recommend this brand.

i normally buy poise or dollar general brand, medium/moderate. ive tried several brands, and those 2 are top notch. the product says on package compare to poise, well im going to. i wanted to try these because the amount u get and the price.

well the pad is more like a light pad and the length is seriously shorter maybe 2 inches, it also has this annoying maybe half inch plastic flap above the padded area, that you can see in the picture, in front and back, which i fold over to the sticky side in the front, because it will rub your skin off.

the shape is not hour glass, but i had no wadding. As for coughing/laughing spurts well they just don’t hold up, the pad is just to thin to absorb a sudden burst. if pad was thicker is probably would.

smell, there not scented, but seem to have good odor control. all in all their not terrible, but they do not compare to poise at all, they should change that to compared to always “awful” im going to buy the heavy/long length next month and see if that solves the issues.

I was pleasantly surprised by Poise from the minute I opened the package. Packaging, overall, is standard for these types of products and more than sufficient for cleanliness and travel/portability. The package is understated, in that anyone who isn’t already aware of the precise purpose of Poise pads would not be able to quickly determine it without close scrutiny.

I was very comfortable while testing the Poise originals Extra Coverage overnight pads. The poise brand alone is great, but this new line of poise pads is way more than I expected and it definitely lives up to the extra Coverage description.

I slept so comfortably the first night, I was able to wake up the next morning , change the pad and it absorbed so well , there was no leakage. The road was not too bulky and the shape was perfect lengthwise and width.

I always have trouble finding pads that will live up to the claims on their packaged. This was definitely a 10 in my book. I need something that will be cost effective, as well as comfortable and I won’t have to change out so often during the day and be able to sleep though the night with.

I have found that I prefer Poise to all other brands and have ordered the regular style often. I accidentally ordered these the last time I placed an order and after receiving, I thought they would not be a good use for me since I need the higher absorbency.

I do like the way they fit, stay in place and absorb. However, recently I was looking for a #6 size and just realized they are not made in the #6 size! So far, nothing I use is perfect, but these are pretty good.

I do find that they stick to my panties when I try to remove them and leave sticky bits as someone else mentioned. I really wish one of you manufacturers would make something between an absorbent panty and a pad.

This one is about as safe as you can get. So many brands include “long” in their description but clearly have no idea what that is. Not so, Options. I’m 75 years old so I’ve had, used, done just about everything.

I received pads in new packaging that are supposedly new and improved…. absolutely WORSE. The pads bunch up in the center causing a mound effect so when urine escapes the pad cannot absorb as it flows down the sides of the bunched up center mound.

It also days odor control…OMG! I NEVER had any odor from the ones I always received but these smell like urine right away. These are HORRIBLE! The other ones worked so well…. why break what wasn’t broken? I use quadruple the amount of these in one day due to bunching effect and just runs off the sides.

What’s the point of an incontinent pad if it doesn’t absorb the urine?!? I am changing clothes multiple times a day and washing more than ever. I had ZERO of these issues before. Guess it’s time to find a new, better option.

Needs more adhesive around the permitter of the pad to keep the wings from folding in and to keep the bottom flat

My husband has been using these for many years after having prostate surgery and suffering from incontinence. would like thicker padding.

These pads are exceptional. They are thin, but absorbent, and have a longer length. These pads do not rub on skin, therefore, they don’t cause any sores to develop and they don’t bunch up. These pads do *not* have latex in them.

It is written on the boxes of their products (not like other brands). These pads are expensive if you get them from a seniors store. Hopefully, Shoppers will be restocking this product. I’ve only seen them in one other drug store chain, aside from the seniors stores (that charge too much).

I have used the Tena intimates Very Light for at least a couple of years. I have extremely sensitive, highly allergic skin. These work so very well. Even though I have a little leakage. Mostly at night, these are Perfect! But, I cannot find these on your website or in the stores right now.

Tena is the best product; I have ever tried! No skin irritations. In addition to bladder leakage, the pad also absorbs perspiration in the groin area as well.

For years I’ve had to live with the use of incontinence pads. They have been so uncomfortable. I’m an active person and especially enjoy bicycling. When I discovered Tena Ultra Thins I was overjoyed.

I could ride long distances, wearing an Ultra Thin pad and not have a bit of chafing or numbness from the pressure of the pad. More than that, it might surprise you to know that the Tena Ultra Thins have been far more reliable for me and hold much more moisture than other pads.

I’ve used many brands, shapes, sizes, etc. over the years. I hope Tena Ultra Thins (I now use the heavy/long length) are available the rest of my life. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought these pads for my husband. He likes the size of the pad, but is concerned about the lack of adhesive on the wide part. There is only a thin strip of tape going down the length of the pad, but none on the wide “wings” near the top, resulting in bunching, folding in, and overall poor fit.

Why did the company design a very wide pad like this and then not add some adhesive support where it would be needed most? He’ll continue using these for now, but the search is on for a better pad.

I have used this brand for a while now. It feels comfortable and keeps me dry. I don’t like the wings sticking out, but the product does what it supposed to do.

I was accidentally introduced to this product, and I’m glad I did. Originally, I was going to purchase something else, but they didn’t have it. So, after searching on the site, I ran into this. I feel like it protects me a lot better without being irritating.

This is not what I need. It is not a pad with glue to hold it. It is very large but not stiff but a very soft feel, not scratch or papery. Not sure how to use it. Needs to go inside of a pant or brief to hold it snug.

I use these pads everyday while wearing a diaper on long trips. Its convenient way to remove the diaper insert on the go.

They work really well, particularly when coupled with incontinence pants and whilst I may feel damp, I never show this. What a relief

I bought these pads because the picture showed the middle section going from end to end. It doesn’t. BUT I am glad I bought them. They are soft and very comfortable. They fit well in the crotch area and absorb as advertised.

I wanted these for daytime use and they seem to be perfect. Another plus for me is wearing them when I use the exercise bike. Some really chafe. These are comfortable. I will buy them again. I will look for free shipping which brings the cost down however.

Incontinent problems are such an inconvenient part of life. I have tried numerous different products. These work well for me day OR night. I have an exercise bike and most pads would chafe considerably.

I have overactive bladder. I have tried many brands of bladder control pads and these maximum absorbency pads have given me the best protection. They are very comfortable and not quite as obvious under clothing.

Very light, moderate regular, moderate extra and very light long liners. Fast absorbing and 100% breathable. Quilted top layer, foam elastic edges and gynecologists tested. They are really good and comfortable.

I am very big fan of Tena. I have used this for 2 years. But this Serenity Ultimate pads way to big and bulky. I did not want to return this item it’s to discreet and personal So what I’did is gave it to someone that needs the most.

I overlook the size so I will be careful next time. Although, I ordered another Tena incontinence pads that is comfy for me….

After years of using TENA ultimate Incontinent pads. the plastic liner from 3 pads, different lits, tears loose, exposing the INTERIOR fabric. Rendering the pad usless! This has NEVER gapoened on any other brand incontinent pad.

Once exposed, the pad is useless. This should never hapoen!.

Product absorbancy just fine, but pads did not stick. The three strips of adhesive are inadequate to firmly stick. Not once did they stick to my underwear, even when first opened. Too bad! I’m only addressing the pantliers.

I need to wear a pad every day (and evening) due to incontinence and have been buying Poise for a couple of years but they have an off-putting chemical odor even when dry. This bothered me a lot and I worried that the gel used was the cause and, if so, perhaps that chemical was getting absorbed into my body.

So I tried these 100% cotton, hypoallergenic pads and they work great. They provide really good coverage, absorb adequately, adhere well to underwear, are not bulky, have no odor and are more comfortable than Poise pads, too.

I plan to continue to purchase these.

normally I use another brand but was running low and store was out so picked these up to try and switch too if i liked them or to hold me over until other brand is in. pros: soft and price is decent for the amount you get.

cons:1. Not long enough! for an overnight these were horrible. they were no where near the length of other overnights. the front doesnt go up enough so you pull forward and then back isnt covered. 2.

they bunch up! 3. dont hold a lot. for an overnight level 6 thry should hold a decent amount and these disintegrated after 1 accident leaving me a mess. and when i tried removing it from my underwear the backing stuck to my underwars while the pad tore leaving my hands full of the now wet inner material.

yuck. 4. the individual packaging is plastic and doesnt have a tab so when you need to discard used pad you cant wrap it back in wrapper and secure it they just fall open. honestly i would return them but its too far and we only go to the store once every 2 weeks and im stuck with no other option.

so im going through even more of the pads then normal. so im going to use these up and just change the pads more often.

Tena products overnight 7 absorbancy has been my stae for several years. NOW. when I order them on line from Walmart or Amazon I never know what the pad will look like, feel like, or what absorbancy it will be.

i need the origonal pads. some of them now are softy like kleenex. solid white. HORRIBLE. Some have a purple stitch around the pad and whote soft pad. then once in a great while i will receive the overnight pads that work so well for me.

they are thick, top layer is stitched in purple and has purple stitching on the top of the pad. when and how will I know to buy if your product when is so inconsistent. ??? HELP!!!.

Do not believe the description. it is incorrect !! These pads are WAY TOO SHORT for overnight use or for someone with a Heavy urine flow. The length of the pad is stated to be 16 inches. IT IS NOT. It is 13 inches.

That’s a regular pad. The length as stated in the description on MOST of the TENA pads is misrepresented. The front of these pads is TOO NARROW. The SIDE BARRIERS are shallow and offer NO leakage protection.

These pads ALWAYS ALWAYS leak in the front so you will have lots of laundry to do. The front should be more like the back of this pad. larger and wider. On the TENA website and here you will see that many are complaining that the quality and the length of these pads has greatly degraded in the last 2 years.

They really have. And they are flimsy which they were not years ago, There are so many listings for this product on the Walmart site, so the reviews stating the product has degraded can be found in many different listings.
