20 Best Peeling Gel For Face (2022 Updated)

I’m 41 with few skin issues. I just started incorporating gentle exfoliants into my routine once a week to help with skin cell regeneration and stay on top of having youthful-looking skin. I’ve tried a few other products I liked in various subscription boxes, and finally decided to buy a full-sized bottle of whatever peeling gel Ulta carried that was highly rated and mid-priced.

After reading multiple reviews, I decided to buy this Boscia gel. I tried it twice and both times it was absolutely horrible. The balled up skin sticks to my face and baby facial hairs to the point were I had to scrub with a washcloth until my skin was red and sore – and even then, it still didn’t remove all the dead skin balls (gross, I know).

I just gave up and left them on my face because it was too painful to keep scrubbing. Both times I used this, it took about 4 washes to completely remove the product, and then all week, my skin was stingy and raw.

Will be returning and will not repurchase.

I got this as a gift, it was the exfoliating gel peel and the cactus moisturizer. The moisturizer is ok, a little weird in a sticky way, but it’s alright. I tried the peel, followed the directions to the letter.

The product pills up and does not wash off easily. I rinsed and rinsed, then finally tried wiping with a wet washcloth. My skin is torn up all along my jawline. I look like I have road rash on my face.

It is dry, tight, and painful. Even using a moisturizer after burned so badly, I wanted to cry. I wouldn’t give this product to my worst enemy.

Excellent product! The only one (maybe three)second super gentle non abrasive exfoliating. Cheats the skin suoer fast of flakiness, making way fir skin to better absorb snd improve from serums. Trick I’ve found that works without fail: apply to clean Dry skin, using one or two ideas Suzanne amount GRB to lay tubing briskly back snd girth.

Use area where get most flakiness and circular motion on cheeks and a little on forehead, only taking one to three seconds. Then immediately use a Dry soft paper towel or other cloth to gently blot or wipe the little balsamic quickly off.

This immediately reviews almost all the little balls, leaving light residue. Then immediately follow up with Wet paper towel or cloth to quickly swipe across and remove any lingering residue. Done! Best product ever.

Serums so much more effective after this. I have rosacea, allergic, sensitive, dry skin. Allergic to fragrance respiratory snd skin. Causes Zero redness. Zero irritation. Zero salicylic acid. Zero fragrance.

Zero negatives. I use once weekly. Occasionally twice. Thank you so much fir this amazing product!!!.

Even though the package is fairly small, you don’t need much for one use, so it is a good way to try out the product without committing to a large one. I tried many peeling gels in my life and I must say that this one feels the best so far.

After using it I can really feel my skin texture is smoother and it helps to get rid of some stubborn blackheads. But it doesn’t dry or irritate the skin, i even feel that it’s more plump and moisturised.

Pretty surprised with the results and I definitely consider buying the full size. It’s a fun product to try out if you never used a peeling gel. Might be not the most potent peeling, but gentle and relatively low probability of irritation, because PHAs are suitable for sensitive skin.

This is a beautifully effective peeling product. I use it twice a week as I have a bit of acne which it helps control. Make sure to use it properly. Cleanse your skin. Leave your face damp. Dot the product on forehead, nose, cheeks and chin.

Smooth quickly over skin. Then in small circles go over face ONCE. Your dead skin will ball up. once you have done your whole face, rinse and gently pat dry. Your face may be slightly red but not stinging.

Apply serum and moisturizer.

Okay so here’s the thing… this has beta hydroxy acid and a bunch of good ingredients and it does make my skin look clear and even BUT the thing that makes me take off 2 stars is that the brand has no problem lying to consumers with the peeling sales gimmick.

I’ve tested tons of peeling products on surfaces and on rubber gloves with no skin and it still balls up like Elmer’s glue because that’s pretty much what it is along with some good ingredients added.

If a product is strong enough to make your skin peel like that people wouldn’t spend $3000 on CO2 laser treatments to peel the skin off and if it did peel your skin the way it claims you would have extremely irritated, red, and raw skin.

not even a strong chemical peel will peel off skin like that right away, it takes days for the skin to start peeling off and you usually get extreme irritation along with it. I just wish the companies would be honest and make a product with the alpha hydroxy And beta Hydroxy acids that works good without the sales gimmicks and crap ingredients added in to make it “peel”….

I saw that some people say that it looks like blackheads or dirt and that’s because there is dirt and if you rub something enough dirt will come off and stick to it especially if it’s a product that is balling up.

I’m an aesthetician and this type of product really bothers me…it really makes you wonder what else they do to make people buy their products.

I received this in my January Allure Beauty Box. First, impressed with receiving the full sized version, second very happy to try the brand “Saturday Skin” I have heard/read a lot about this brand. First, the price for the 2.

53 fluid ounce-full-size bottle is $28 on Sephora.  While the price is not outrageous, it’s also a little high. Only because there are other skin brands that offer similar items, high-quality items, for half the price.

But I decided to let the results do the talking. So to speak. it is recommended that you wash your face first, gently pat it dry, then apply this to your face and rub in a circular motion for one minute.

Rinse clean with warm water. Use once or twice a week. I cheated. I washed my face in the shower. Then I used this product on wet skin. I don’t know if it makes a difference or not, but I could feel it as I was rubbing it on my skin.

It did not create any type of bubbles/suds. Honestly, it was hard to continue scrubbing it/rubbing it for one street minute. And I felt like I had to use a large amount if I wanted to accomplish that task.

I focused on my t-zone area, top of my nose/sides of my nose, forehead, neck, chest, and I was very light and gentle with it on my cheeks.  I rinsed my skin felt nice and soft. I did not feel any type of tingling or burning sensation while using or after using this product.

I happen to have oily somewhat sensitive skin. Especially my cheeks. Broken capillaries and mild rosacea is the bane of my existence.  getting out of the bath, gently patting my skin dry, I noticed my face did have some redness to it.

But after I used my new essence-NeoGen Real Ferment Micro-essence (From another beauty box. This stuff is amazing!) and a nice serum, along with a good quality eye cream, the redness went away within a half hour or so.

I believe I am safe to assume I had redness because of the nature of the product. So if you happen to be like me, do not use this before going on any dates, going to work, school, etc. Unless you don’t care.

And it also depends on the amount of redness, how long the redness takes to go away. For me it was about one hour, but for the rest of the day I had a gentle pink tint to my face. Again, first time using the product.

I believe I overdid it just a little bit. I was a little overzealous with my scrubbing and amount. So I’m not blaming the ingredients per se. all in all, I say that this is a good refining peel gel/wash.

again, there are products on the market just like this, other reputable quality brands, half the price. It is up to you. What you want to spend and what you are comfortable with.  I will happily continue using this product.

But as for a re-purchase? Unless it was on sale, I think not.

This is a peel that is meant to exfoliate dull skin. It comes in a squeeze tube form in Saturday Skin’s signature Millennial pink and white look. I used this after cleansing and drying my skin. The gel has a light fragrance that smells citrusy and has a creamy consistency with a very fine grit texture.

I used about a quarter sized amount and applied it with my fingers in a circular motion for a minute as directed. After doing this for a little I could feel the gel start to pill up, and then rinsed.

Overall, I liked this product a lot. It left my skin smoother and brighter. My skin isn’t leans towards sensitive, so I was pleased with how gentle this was. The price is moderate at $28, but it will definitely last a while! I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

IšverstiShow in original languageI currently use another glycolic acid formula to chemically exfoliate my skin. I am a huge skincare enthusiast and firmly believe in the importance of exfoliating regularly.

My skin has never looked as good as it does now that I incorporate a chemical peel. So I was eager to test out a comparable product. My skin is not particularly sensitive, I definitely put it through a lot with all the products I try out.

But this product seemed to break me out. I know some products can extract impurities upon initial use which will make you go through a purging period. I’ve never had that happen as quickly as it did with this product.

I’m certain this is a purge because I’ve had a reaction to glycolic acid before and those bumps look more red like skin irritation. I don’t know what percentage of glycolic acid this product has, I wasn’t able to find that on the website.

My other glycolic acid peel is 7%. I’m not sure if this product has a higher percentage or is it was the combination of the other ingredients that made me break out. But I feel like the only way I would be able to continue using this product would be if I used it less frequently.

I use my other peel nightly and it works amazingly. It’s also a fraction of the price. So from a financial standpoint it doesn’t make sense to switch to a more expensive formula. I still found it did exactly as advertised.

My skin felt smoother and more rejuvenated after only one use so I would still recommend this product. The price, however leaves something to be desired, especially when you can get a comparable product for a fraction of the price.

IšverstiShow in original languageI was provided a sample of Glytone Rejuvenating Mini Peel Gel to try by BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. I must say that after only the first use, I absolutely LOVED this product.

After I cleansed my face before bed, I applied the gel for ten minutes. I do have sensitive skin and was hoping the product was not too harsh. Well, immediately after putting the product on my skin, my face was burning pretty intensely.

I was very worried and didn’t think that I would make it through the ten minutes. After ten minutes, I rinsed the product off with warm water and the burning immediately went away. I chose not to apply anymore products to my skin that evening as a precautionary measure.

When I woke up the next morning, many skin did not have any irritation whatsoever, and felt incredible! My face felt freshly exfoliated, toned, my pores were less visible, and some of my acne cleared up.

My 15-year old son even commented to me while I was taking him to school that my face looked really good. He saw a noticeable difference, and asked if he could try using the gel on his face. My face felt very smooth and moisturized also.

I will purchase the regular size bottle to use as a part of my regimen a couple of times per week, and will highly recommend this product to others.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’m a big fan of chemical peels and have tried quite a few at home at this one is legit. I could feel it working right away and the next morning, my skin looked brighter and tighter.

I’ve only used it 3 times so far, but I truly believe after a month’s use, you would see drastic results. Even this morning my husband made a comment about my skin and that’s not something he usually notices.

A few caveats, if you have never used a chemical peel, start slowly. I would only keep this product on for about 5 minutes the first time to acclimate your skin. And DO NOT use on consecutive days. These products are meant to only be use at most 3xs a week or you can burn your skin.

And this is considered an exfoliant so avoid physical scrubs if you plan to use this peel. My one dislike was the smell. Since Covid, I have had a strong aversion to astringents and the smell whacked me in the face when I first applied the product.

It dissipated quickly but it was not a pleasant surprise. Overall, this is definitely a product I could see me continue using in the future.

This product is definitely my unicorn/holy grill and it is my go to product for anything anytime/anywhere and I’m even super hesitant about telling people what I use. I have certain “friends” who like to “competitively challenge” my knowledge of skin care products,etc.

I’m an aesthetician, so it gets very old Time after time. From my standpoint this is one of the best products you can use on your skin. The ingredients are amazing like I said, it does make your skin feel extremely smooth clean (literally) without feeling like your skin was robbed from all its natural oils.

I am a Korean skin care junkie. I LOVE every single Korean beauty product that I’ve purchased. I’ve never had to return a product from any company due to allergic reaction such as hives, skin rash, or constant super dry skin.

Which makes me think that Korean skin care companies use super clean ingredients in their products. My best friend is Korean and I know based on her practices, her skin has been 100% perfect since kindergarten.

But it’s not just skin care regimen that make their skin get that natural perfect glow it’s also what they put in their body which is some thing I am trying to replicate… We’re so used to eating in America… Like fried food which is not good for you, french fries, fast food, especially with Covid right now everyone’s so used to telemedicine and things just being really fast whether it be via phone, Skype or other video calling apps, or getting from place to place with an Uber/food delivery.

And Covid has allowed us to become super lazy without even really noticing it. So this whole stay at home/lockdown things like really The worst thing that could possibly happen to human beings. Even just watching TV or looking at your computer screen for six hours a day can cause you to get a sunburn from the UV rays out of the screen so if you have a blue light detector you can put on your computer I recommend that or just wear sunscreen even if you’re in the house.

But always always have a product like this on hand because it’s there when you are feeling gross and grimy and you need something to completely erase what’s on your first layer of skin…this product and actually, any products from this company are worth it… Amazon always has like a deal on it or something like that.

Pyukyang Yul is really fair when it comes to pricing I don’t think there’s a product that they sell that’s over $25 or $30 so that’s a steel when it comes to like Amazons top 25 Skin care products.

I bought this because i read this has enzymes instead AHA or BHAs, which can be hard on darker skin and irritate it creating pigmentation issues. I tried Glicolic acid before and it irritated my skin , So I purchased this one.

The gel is light, no smells nice to use. When rubbed on the skin, it creates little balls, it is delicated on the skin. However I hardly feel any exfoliation and my skin was pretty much the same after it but more moist.

But that moist went away as soon as my skin dried off completly. So, It would be better to apply a moisterizer right after it.

I have been using the Charmzone New Control Cream for years as my exfoliating product and since it’s been difficult to get my hands on it without going to Korea, I decided to try this peeling gel. It does ball up and I feel the cellulose while rubbing it over my face so it probably does exfoliate a bit.

Also, it’s pretty gentle so my sensitive skin hasn’t reacted badly to it which is always a plus. However, it smells like cheap vodka and it leaves residue on my face (especially around my ears and baby hairs) that doesn’t easily wash off with water so I end up scratching at my skin with my nails, picking it off.

I won’t repurchase after I finish this.

Let me just start off by saying I have extremely sensitive combination skin, everything from salicylic acid to witch hazel makes me break out. My skin was extremely dry, flaky, and was breaking out and needed something to exfoliate and remove the impurities that build up through the day, water was not cutting it.

I use this face wash 3-4x a week and my face is smoother and feels cleaner. It also helps with discoloration. I also pair this with BLISS Marshmallow Mask 2-3x a week. So far, no breakouts just cleansed and exfoliated.

A heads up though, after scrubbing in a circular motion there is a unique texture which I imagine is all the dead skin and dirt being scrubbed away (this could just be the fruit enzymes). I never leave reviews, but I feel this face wash could be useful for individuals with extremely sensitive skin who need to cleanse and exfoliate.

I bought this product a while back because of it’s cute packaging tbh I love the color pink, however using it was a whole different experience beyond just the color. It was not harsh at all yet seemingly peeled off all my dead skin, my face felt as soft as a baby’s butt after my first use.

Now please, pleaseeee be extra careful when using this product just like any other exfoliant. I’d recommend using this product with just ur hands when exfoliating please dont rub this product in with a facial brush it already does a great job on it’s own also make sure u are using this product 1-2 times a week like any other exfoliant and the price is beyond great for the results, the only thing I would change about this product would have to be smell 😂 i guess I’m just sensitive to certain smells (AGAIN THIS IS NOT A CLEANSER THIS IS AN EXFOLIATOR) I did buy their cleanser not to long ago which is the blue bottle on the right but that’s for another review.

I have always had a really hard time finding an exfoliator that doesn’t irritate my skin. Anything with grit to it would make my face freak out. I LOVE this product. It’s not a mask – you rub it on your skin in a circular motion and you can see all the dead skin/dirt just lift away, and it leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and smooth.

For all the people saying it balls up on their facial hair or eyelashes – first of all, it says right in the directions to keep away from eyes. Also, I have peach fuzz on my face and I’ve never had that problem – so maybe you aren’t rinsing your face well enough afterwards? For me, this is the best exfoliator I’ve tried, hands down.

And price wise, you can’t beat it.

My skin type is a combination of oily and dry. I have acne as well. This product didn’t seem to have any affect on my skin when I used it. It’s not a very light or strong product, it’s in the middle, so if you have very sensitive skin, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I think it was supposed to exfoliate and take away the excess oil on your skin. I guess when I used it, it was more of a cleanser? After I used it, my skin felt cleaner, but it didn’t feel like it cleaned deep enough.

Plus, in the long run, it didn’t affect my skin afterwards for ex: clearing my acne, less oil, more moisturized skin, etc. Overall, I don’t think that this product is a good one if you’re looking for a change in your skin and you have the same skin type as me.

I am white, late 30s, and live in the desert. Because I live in the dry desert my skin looks a lot more wrinkled, dry and aged as opposed to women who live in the mountains or ocean. My makeup application looks quite awful often due to dry skin so a skincare routine is of the utmost necessity.

I still have not found a good moisturizer which means I am in need of an exfoliate for that crusty dry skin that always appears when foundation is applied. I have tried various exfoliates and what happens is that they make the skin more flaky but it just sits stuck to my face still in tact, looking worse.

That includes scrubs, acids, masks, etc from DIY, drugstore to ULTA quality brands. I purchased a Thomas Roth trial kit with 5 products, and some were okay nor didn’t work for me, but this exfoliate is my holy grail.

I especially get flaky skin around my nostrils from having a runny nose from allergies, and I rub a dab of this around that area and the dead skin falls away so easily without disturbing any other areas of my face.

This is definitely worth tracking down a sample size of to see if it works for you.

I am so mad at myself every time I try to find another exfoliation skincare product, I see other skincare exfoliating products being raved about and I can’t help myself but want to try it! Well it never has worked out well for me, almost every skincare product I try, I ALWAYS break out.

My skin gets super irritated, I get tiny bumps everywhere. I don’t know what it is but this is the only thing my skin can tolerate, it truly makes my skin look amazing. Every time I go back to this I want to smack myself for wasting money on anything else! If your reading this review just know everyone’s skin is truly different.

There’s no telling if your skin will agree with any type of skincare product. I definitely recommend getting the mini version and trying it! As someone with extremely sensitive/acne prone this is truly a miracle for me!.

This gentle exfoliant works fine, it’s just underwhelming to me. It’s effective at washing away dead skin cells and smoothing out skin, but a bit too gentle for my needs. I think this is a good product for fresh and young 20s skin, or someone with sensitive skin, especially as there is no fragrance or scent either.

But I’m in my 30s so I do prefer a stronger peel that includes chemical exfoliants for better longer-lasting results. For that, I definitely choose PTR’s Pumpkin Enzyme Mask over this, and once weekly of that is enough for me.

(Not to mention, I also love the pumpkin scent. ) The FIRMx peeling gel pills on contact, and btw, that is NOT your skin “rolling off”, it’s the cellulose ingredient doing that, which is helping to “sweep away the dead skin cells”.

This one is very gentle, so even though directions say up to 3 times a week, I think daily would be fine if needed. I can see this being a great quick mask to use before a night out for smoother application of your make-up too.

In addition to the smoothness, the skin does feel soft and hydrated after use. But for that glow, again, I gotta say I pick the Pumpkin Mask. OR, I really enjoy PTR’s Cucumber Mask if I’m really needing extra hydration, and it still has the enzymes for light exfoliation to sweep away stubborn dead skin.

So for me, this product doesn’t have a place in my routine, but I can see it being great for some people. It’s a little expensive, but it’s not bad.

The first time I used it I clearly didn’t read the instructions properly. I thought it was like other peeling gels where you have to put it on relatively dry skin. It turns out with this peeling gel you use it on wet skin and honestly I love it so much more! I’m the type that does all my nighttime cleansing skincare steps when I’m in the shower and having to use a peeling gel that needs to have relatively dry skin to apply on is annoying when I’m the shower.

But this one you’re supposed to use it on wet skin which is perfect for me. It does give off an exfoliating feeling but it’s not rough to the point where your skin would feel scratched. It’s gentle and after you come out of the shower your skin feels softer.

It’s one of those products that I would definitely purchase again.

I can’t believe I happened to see this randomly because I had really good results with this physical exfoliating peel! So far so good 👍. Been using this for a few months now, 2-3 times a week. I have also tried the peeling gel from the Japanese brand, Cure, before, but I prefer this one more. From my experience, my skin feels less dry and tightened after I use this peeling gel.

Also, I believe that it does work at exfoliating my skin. Comparing when I apply this peeling gel to my face versus to my hand, I get more of the residue pellets when it is on my face than when on the back of my hand.

This makes me believe that since I only use this product 2-3 times a week, I have more buildup on my face than on my hands (which I was multiple times within a day). It makes my skin feel refreshed and clean without drying out my skin out, and this is what I really like about this peeling gel 😄.

(Other than that, in terms of how it smells, there is a hint of tea tree smell to it, but overall very mildly scented. ).

The PHA Peeling Gel is designed to allow a 2-step peeling, physical exfoliation by naturally derived ingredients. This gel contains 70 ml (2. 36 oz) and has no fragrance. It comes in a squeeze tube as many other peeling gels do.

The gel is white and milky in appearance. Once spread on the skin, it starts to ball up. This gel, unlike others, doesn’t ball up excessively and is extremely light and gentle on the skin. After massaging and rinsing the gel off, it leaves skin brighter and it smooths over the skin.

Recommended use is after cleansing, apply a suitable amount to dry face, and spread evenly avoiding contact with eyes and mouth. Gently massage with fingertips and scrub off cellulose and dead skin cells.

Wash off with lukewarm water. Using 2-3 times a week is recommended. After using, this peeling gel is one of the most gentle that I’ve ever used. That’s not to say peeling gels are very abrasive, but most are more gently abrasive than this.

There’s no fragrance and it applies like most other gels. However, it doesn’t ball up as big as other gels, but after rinsing off my face, my skin felt so smooth. It’s not irritating and I believe it’s ideal for sensitive skin.

It comes in a smaller bottle than many peeling gels, but I think that’s good if you take a while to work through the bottle. I’d recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin, people who dislike any kind of fragrance, and any other skin type to be honest.

What I like: very gentle and fragrance-free. It’s good for sensitive skin and I didn’t notice any irritation. It exfoliates well despite not being super abrasive and it really smooths out the skin, blurring your pores.

The ingredients are simple and effective and I think this is great for anyone who has problems with other peeling gels. What I don’t like: nothing really.

My Thoughts 💭- Benton is synonymous with quality, as far as I am concerned, so I was excited to try this product that exfoliates in two ways, both physically chemically. This is a gommage style physical exfoliant.

As I’ve said before, if I’m going to use a physical exfoliator, it is going to be a gommage because I have rosacea this type of physical exfoliator is less likely to damage skin, cause broken blood vessels, etc.

This is a fairly light physical exfoliator which is great for sensitive skin. I applied this product, rubbed it until little balls formed then let it sit on my skin for about 20-30 minutes to get the benefit of the PHA.

I had a light peel the next day from the PHA. I was super excited! I liked that this product had little to no fragrance which is a plus in my book 📚. All around this is another great Benton product. You can find this product @yesstyle for $14.

I have very sensitive skin so I would avoid AHA/BHAs where possible and is super cautious when exfoliating. I get little bumps (pimple like) or skin goes red,itchy easily. My skin is currently dehydrated due to weather changes.

This peeling gel does the job for me without any problems. I only exfoliate one to two times a week and only put enough on my face (not that much) and gently massage around the face, then wash off with slightly warm water.

Face is very smooth, clean no tight feeling and hydrated after washing. There is no wierd chemical smell or fragrance. I would definitely re purchase this.

I have dry, quite sensitive skin. Usually the particles in scrubs irritate or even damage my skin so I was very curious about a way of exfoliation without that risk. And oh boy I am sold. Never going back.

It exfoliates without pain or red skin. It gets off so much dead skin it is unbelievable. If you are like me and enjoy peeling off blackhead masks, taking off flaky skin and similar slightly gross skincare things, you are going to love this.

It is so satisfying to see all of the white flakes coming off. I use this peeling gel every three days, if you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend using it more often than that. Besides, you get the most effect by not using it too often because your own dead skin also functions as a scrub when using this product.

So more dead skin = more effect. Did I mention how satisfying this is? I just started on my second bottle. A few tips: Do not use this gel more than every other day, preferably once every three days for sensitive skin.

Afterwards, use a calming/skin temperature lowering toner. Or better yet, a toner in combination with a sheet mask, those absorb so much better. Do use it in the shower, it is easiest as all the pores open up and you can wash away the dead skin easiest.

Do not let this stuff ‘soak in’, just apply, rub in circular motions (focusing on problem areas, with me my nose, chin, temples/forehead and jawline) and wash off immediately. Do not use on pimples, small wounds etc and do not let it get in your eyes as that hurts like hell and it is really bad for your eyes.

After using the peel, you can use a blackhead brush. Those become way more effective as there is no dead skin clogging the pores. With those tips, there is a high possibility of your skin becoming as soft, smooth, clear and clean as any Instagram filter!.

I have noticeable box cut acne scars on my cheeks. I have tried laser treatments and microneedling to try to diminish the appearance of these scars, but I still felt like that wasn’t enough (it helped, but was still noticeable and the cost wasn’t worth the minimal results).

On a whim I decided to try the trial plan with the 50% glycolic peel and I do say I am impressed. It’s easy, it’s affordable, and I definitely see my skin texture improving. For the first couple of days I do experience redness and sensitivity, but after a few days I really appreciate how great my skin looks.

I have done three peels so far and have been so pleased that I ordered two more bottles. I tend to spread out my peels about a week and a half to two weeks because I exfoliate and use retinol daily. Also excited to see my acne scars diminish even more as it is all I can sometimes see when I look at my face. Healthy, beautiful skin is within everyone’s reach, but it does take time, patience, practice, and the right products.

I unfortunately learned this the very, very hard way. Don’t make my same mistakes! There is way too much information (and products) out there now on how to properly take care of one’s skin. Everyone can achieve this and these peels are an easy and effective way to start.

I have paid a lot of money over the years for peels that don’t seem to be as effective as this one. It is so easy to do yourself as long as you are careful, do your research, and follow directions. I am 53 years old and never really took good care of my skin.

It has grown dull, uneven, and spotty over the years with lots of buildup. I never feel like I get good exfoliation, as if I have extra sticky cells that just don’t shed (if that’s even a thing!). This does the trick! I get a nice peel within a couple of days that leaves my skin looking smoother and fresher than it has in years.

The peeling is not too noticeable and only lasts a day or two. I only leave the product on for 1-2 minutes and neutralize with baking soda and water. I am currently using once every 2 weeks and will hopefully be able to just keep a once a month maintenance schedule once I achieve my desired results.

This bottle should last quite a while, too, so I feel like I am saving a lot of money and time by not going to a spa. Best advice I can give is start slow. More is not better when using chemical peels, especially if you are not used to them.

Start with leaving the product on 30 seconds and see what results you get. Gradually increase time as your tolerance increases.

Was introduced to this product by a friend back in Summer 2021. Had to wait to use it because I was constantly tanning or in the sun in some capacity. Finally tried it in October and use it 1x per month for about 30-45 seconds at a time.

I have sensitive skin so I’m starting off slow and don’t think I need to risk leaving it on longer. It clears up my skin, the new layer comes out fresh with natural shine. No burns! Love that the old skin with clogged pores goes away better each time.

Not expensive at all. I’d be more nervous to do a gel peel at a salon by someone I don’t know. This at home does the trick for me knowing I’m in control of how I apply it.

I was skeptical of this at first and was suspicious that the “peeling” it did was actually just the gel balling up as gimmick. I decided to test out this theory by applying it over and over to the same spot – if it was really removing dead skin, the amount that balled up should reduce with each application, right? The first time I put this on my cheeks, it balled up almost IMMEDIATELY.

I rinsed it off and tried again, and this time it lasted a bit longer before gunking up, rinse and repeat (and over and over). Sure enough, by the end I was rubbing for a good 30 seconds without much balling up.

I bought this as an impulse buy on sale at a drug store, even though it looked like it had been sitting on the shelf forever-it was the only one left and scuffed, dirty, and dusty on the outside, and usually I try to get the best packaging-the packaging was that cute and interesting and curiosity piquing that I had to have it.

My first impression upon dispensing the product was that the cute design packaging was a bit clumsy for dispensing the product, and that there were no english instructions. But use of the product is intuitive enough.

The product itself proved well worth any inconvenience. I used it on my face and immediately recognized the ‘pilling’ action as removing surface layers of skin the same way a warm bath or lemon would.

One does not need to scrub. I immediately realized this would also be good for feet, elbows, or knees. I was amazed at how plump, smooth, and hydrated my skin felt afterwards without a lot of over drying that can sometimes happen when using stronger exfoliating chemicals I highly recommend this as a quick easy gentle exfoliation for either a spa day, a quick pick-me-up, or immediate small directed trouble-spot exfoliation.

My mom bought this for me when she visited Korea. She was amazed by this product because of how much dead skin shed off her face. But the dead skin like flakes that come from this product is an ingredient in the product, not necessarily her dead skin.

That is a little misleading to me, but I think those flakey things help with removing skin flakes. Whenever my skin is flaking from an overnight peel or dehydration, I like to use this because it’s a quick and easy way to get the flakiness off without stripping my skin or irritating it.

My skin does feel smooth afterwards, but it is red because the product requires applying the gel onto dry skin and rubbing it off of dry skin. I think this is too risky, since tugging the skin can cause wrinkles.

I like this product when I need to quickly remove flakiness and I would probably buy it again. But I would not loose sleep if I ran out and could not find it anywhere. I love the packaging and the smell though!.

I debated doing a review on this for a while but decided to simply because of how the product surprised me! When I ordered this I thought it was a peeling face mask, when in fact it is an exfoliant that peels away any dead skin, dirt and oil.

After looking back at the other reviews and hearing how soft it made everyone’s skin feel I decided to give it a try, and oh my gosh! After the first try my skin was left feeling amazingly soft and looking brighter! I do feel if you are very gentle you can use it every day but I prefer to use it every other day or so just to make sure I don’t make my skin raw. The texture of my skin has improved dramatically looking more clear and bright.

I do have sensitive and problematic skin that breaks or readily especially when introduced to new products. This did not over irritate (as long as I was gentle and didn’t scrub for too long) and did not break me out! Now I don’t know if anyone else gets that dry, dull, makeup look when your skin isn’t having a good day, but I noticed that went away until I ran out a few weeks ago! I bought this recently to try some K-beauty. I didn’t quite know what to expect as most of the packaging is not in English. I have adult cystic acne, and occasionally it goes away. But when it shows, the after effects leave dry patches on my face.

My oily skin clogs easily, so washing twice is a daily must especially during summer. I use Mario Badescu glycolic and enzyme cleansers before I use this product. Then I applied the pineapple peeling gel (about a quarter size) and rubbed it into small circles all over my skin.

WOW! The dead skin just beaded right off, in chunks. This is a GREAT exfoliating product! I was almost sure that when the product started to bead the skin off, I was certain that the product was just balling on itself like rubber cement.

To test, I applied the skin food again, expecting the product to ball up on itself. But, only a few small balls formed. This tells me that the product is in fact exfoliating my skin, and not just drying up and becoming ball-like itself.

In combination with my skin cleanser, this pineapple peeling gel is MUST BUY! It is great for summer time, and helps unclog the oily buildup from sweating during the day. It leaves my skin so smooth, and so fresh feeling.

It works great on my sensitive skin, too. Other reviewers didn’t enjoy the scent much, but I didn’t find it unpleasant. It’s slightly fruity with maybe a slight medicinal after smell. This is a great product, and it is inexpensive.

To get the full effect, I follow this up with Tony Moly bamboo gel moisturizer.

This product does what it says, and it does smell like a fresh apple! I have used this a few times now, with a few days in between use, and do feel like I have gotten rid of “dead skin cells” after using it.

The “peeling” / exfoliation definitely takes place, so you might find that your skin feels a bit sensitive after use – at which point I generally use a calming toner plus essence (with centella). It will last a while before you finish this bottle, so the price point is really, really affordable.

What an interesting product! I’ve used scrubs, sonic face brushes, peel off masks, chemical night treatments. The brushes and peel off masks are too harsh for me and the night treatment was ineffective.

Now this, I was really doubtful that it was peeling the skin and that maybe it was just the product that was rolling off. However, it’s left my skin feeling so good, that I am a fan. At first, I think was too conservative with the amount so I put a little more and it was able to see small rolls of skin coming off.

Be careful with the rubbing because you do not want that stuff flying into and onto places like a toothbrush without you knowing. It rinses cleanly and I’ve had no irritation. The price is great and I will definitely re-buy.

My skin is very dry and sensitive and requires being exfoliated often. I’d tried similar rubbing peels, however this beat them. An ingredient definitely helps exfoliate, and then the skin that comes off with friction.

My skin looks fresh and shiny after and products absorb so well. No irritation, burning, stinging or redness (and I’m allergic or get reactions from a LOT of stuff).
