20 Best Pistol Optic For Competition (2022 Updated)

I’ve only had the rangefinder for a few weeks now, but I’ve used it multiple times. It makes picking the correct club much easier for me. I’ve used it at the driving range to check the actual yardage of different pins and yardage markers, and it appears to be spot on.

The pin seeking mode is extremely helpful, and works really well within a reasonable distance. I’ve picked the pin up at around 200+ yards. I also use the scan mode pretty regularly to measure distances to different obstacles: bunkers, water hazards, trees, ect.

It’s very helpful in this regard too. I often take multiple reads, and it always returns the same results, so it appears that it is accurate in that regard as well. I can’t really think of anything negative to say on this product from my usage.

I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a great rangefinder without breaking the bank.

I compared it to a 10 year old Bushnell and my Garmin G6 gps and it was always within a yard of either of them so I’m very pleased with the unit so far. Also it is much smaller than my old unit and has a bright, clear viewfinder so it’s easy to read.

Pinseeker technology works very well and is a big improvement over my old unit which doesn’t have it. It locks on to the pin within a couple seconds usually and seems to be very accurate. While others have more features they cost a lot more.

Grat value.

This is the third range finder I own, but my first Leupold. It is lighter and smaller than the others, but much more easy to use. Just point to the flag, press the button and “presto” an immediate read.

The feature that captures the first object in the field is absolutely fantastic. I can hit any flag on the first try, even with my shaky hands. Truly a fine instrument.

When compared: Surefire Fury DFT Streamlight Stinger DS led Fenix TK09 The brightest is the Fenix TK09 (900 lumens), then Surefire Fury (1500 lumens), and last is the Streamlight Stinger DS (425 lumens).

The Fenix TK09 is also the cheapest by a large margin. The Fenix TK09 and Streamlight Stinger hold up well, so if the Surefire Fury is at least as good them, I’ll be content. After buying the Surefire Fury and comparing it to the Fenix TK09, I quit comparing after the cheapest light is better or equal in many aspects.

The Surefire Fury has a Neutral White which is more pleasant to my eyes versus the Fenix TK09’s cool white. The Fenix TK09’s hot spot is tighter while the Surefire Fury has a bigger hot spot but equal spill.

The Surefire Fury appears to have a shorter throw. The Streamlight Stinger is the biggest physically. and my least favorite but I still trust the Streamlight brand more than the Fenix without any real justification.

Awesome flashlight. I debated over getting the intellibeam version and I don’t wish I had gotten intellibeam as this light is simple and feels good in hand. Bright too. A little larger and noticeably heavier than my trusty old Surefire g2 nitrolon, but is also 25x brighter as well.

Came with rechargeable Surefire battery with usb recharging port on the battery. Battery must be removed for recharging.

I got this to replace my years-old 6P LED, of which the LED burnt out long ago and I had replaced the bulb with one from a third-party manufacturer that was giving about 325/425 lumens, a definite upgrade from the 80 to 120 lumens when it was first released.

I still use it today as it’s been a workhorse but with this new offering from SureFire, it is 3 times more powerful! I’ve tried it and the brightness and throw may be too much for room to room work, or within less than 10 feet.

However, if you need something to pierce the dark and want all the lumens, whether it’s for duty work or for personal defense (yes, you could use this to blind many an attacker), then this flashlight is for you.

It only has one setting and the throw is great for the brightness. Keep in mind, 2 x CR123’s will offer 1200 lumens at its brightest but buy the proprietary 18650 rechargeable battery and you get 1500 lumens.

Current generic 18650 batteries won’t work because you need at least a 5 amp discharge rate and current generics only offer around 3. 7 amperage. You will be able to easily identify your target or blind someone temporarily with that kind of power.

Watched a video of the install by the manufacturer. I followed the advice of not using a sight pusher. While tapping in the front sight it broke right at the base and vial. Sending the tritium vial into the stratosphere! I have installed many sights with nylon, brass and delrin punches along with a mallet this has never happened before.

The metal looks to be thin around the vial where it connects to the base. I should have bought Trijicons.

Learning to shoot with both eyes open while getting older is challenging. Was initially looking for a front sight only with contrasting colors to help find the sight quickly while presenting the gun to get on target.

In my quest I came across this front and rear set which fits and satisfies what I was looking for. After consideration, I decided that a set was a better option than a single sight because it brings uniformity to the equation.

They were very easy to install as I was using a sight pusher. The sights were put on a Sig SP2022 in 9MM. Very pleased with my selection as the orange front sight is now easy to pick up.

I prefer an orange outlined front sight with the “U” notched rear sight. That orange sight grabs your eyes during the day, but with the aid of that U notch, it really helps to put the front sight, whether it’s day or night, where it needs to be in the rear sights U notch.

I’ve bought other night sights with that “U” notch and it is now my preferred type.

I used the Omega II on my crossbow in 2021 and absolutely loved it so much, that I moved it to my 410 shotgun this year for spring turkey. I purchased the Omega III for my crossbow in 2022. It is a great sight and does exactly what I need it to do.

As a hunter with a significant disability (quadriplegic) I am able to operate the sight independently by using the two button remote. Now I can sight, range and video independently with no worries about eye relief.

These things are sweet. The flight path technology is very beneficial to make sure you don’t hit any branches on the way to the target/animal. To the guys that say there’s “no warranty” you need to keep your manuals or understand the product you’re buying.

1. All leupold RF have a 2 year warranty, it says right in the manual. 2. It’s an electronic, and it will eventually no longer work. 3. Replace it with vortex if you want, but you should probably buy 2 RF at the same time from them so you have one to use when the other one is back and forth in the mail.

Use it for 3d archery. Absolutely awesome tool. Battery installation and removal could be easier, tricky twist lock cover. Very happy with the purchase. Upgraded from a 10 year old Bushnell. Archer’s advantage software works great.

I bought my rangefinder 3 years ago. Now suddenly without any mistreatment at all, I can only see half of the read outs. It’s not possible to read the numbers at all. Leupold will not warranty it at all.

I made a poor choice, I will not buy any Leupold products again.

I have not used it in a hunting situation just yet. It seems to be accurate and fast. It is compact and will be easy to carry. That said, it is difficult to get an accurate hand hold at distance without jumping all around – you have to brace yourself or use a trip/monopod adapter to reslly be accurate.

I imagine this is the same with any hand held rangefinder, so no slam on Leupold. The mathmatics the device calculates are fast, I will try and post a follow up review after using it on a hunting trip.

For the size and it’s apparent accuracy, it may prove to be a worthy investment. I’m not really crazy about the camouflage pattern, but for the sale price, it was worth spending close to $200 for the non camo model.

For the magnification, I cannot see a useful purpose for stepping up to the next higher model. I doubt that there are that many that can accurately and ethically shoot farther than the distances this device maximizes its readings at.

1200 to 1600 yards? More than enough.

Worked fine for the couple years until in the middle of a bow hunt in west texas the display started fading, changed batteries, still got worse. Called tech support they said sorry it’s electronic, doesn’t last forever.

They offered a 50% discount on a new purchase, however said out of stock until spring. Why would i want to spend a few hundred dollars on another one of their products that has such a short life span backed by poor warranty.

Not buying this brand again, unreliable product ruined a hunting trip ranging accuracy. You’d think Leopold would have a better product, and better warranty. I just bought Vortex, good reviews, good price, AND lifetime warranty.

Purchased the RX-1000i TBR in Dec 2014 and now after very limited and careful use, the electronic display has faded or portions of the LED segements fail to illuminate. Called Leupold as they normally have very good repair policy, but this is not the case for Rangefinders.

The customer service rep sounded like I should have expected it do become dim and should have expected a very short life span. I’ve had $2 clocks that had displays last longer than this expensive product.

Leupold did offer a “discount” on a new product, but can not get myself to support this company any longer. The so called discount is very close to the price when product is on sale, so they really aren’t offering much.

Throw in what it costs to send it back and it’s nearly a wash to buying on sale. There is obviously a quality problem with the displays that Leupold doesn’t want to own up to and there is no guarantee newer products have been improved with respect to the illumination function.

It would be nice if Basspro put a bit of pressure on Leupold to support their customers. Single users have no recourse, but larger companies do. If under 5 year product life is acceptable to you, by all means purchase this rangefinder as the optics are ok.

I have tried big dot, trijicon and ameriglo night sights night fisions are my favorite. The dot seems to be smaller than other sight, it doesn’t cover as much of the target. Very bright tritium. I would prefer a blackout rear option,but not a deal breaker for me.

I bought these for my Shield and will be buying more for my other guns. I have other night sights and these are probably my favorite. Really like the yellow front sight. They are really bright in limited light.

The night sights are bright at night and the sights are perfect. The bright green dot makes it perfect for shooting during the day and night. Highly recommended for my first pistol. Also a perfect fit on my canik TP9SF.

I bought this product on eBay, arrived sooner than expected. Appears to be well made. Put on gun and headed out to the range. Pulled my gun to shoot and noticed the sight was crooked. ,well the sight doesn’t fit my gun.

The package says will fit 1100 Remington field model,guess I should have measured my rib before I bought, my fault!.

I have one of these in my shotgun and have really liked it, so I bought one for my son as a Christmas gift. He also likes it, but his gun fell over the first time he used it and the insert broke. He replaced it with one of the other inserts, so it’s ok.

Benelli shotgun has extremely small front sight bead. Hard to see sight in early morning when hunting Spring gobblers. New Hi Viz M300 appears to be much easier to see in low light conditions such as encountered in Spring gobbler hunting.

Haven’t used the new sight during an actual hunt yet but expect it will improve my chances on early morning gobblers!.

I bought this rangefinder because my former rangefinder had trouble getting reliable ranges in less than ideal situations (only about half of what its stated limits were). My old rangefinder would also take a long time to return values sometimes.

This Leupold rangefinder has not failed me yet. I was on a hunt recently, and easily ranged some moose at 1200 yards. None of my buddies were able to get close to that with their rangefinders. I’ve also been able to range hard surfaces out to 2500 yards or more.

I’m impressed that Leupold’s stated limits actually apply in the field. I get reliable ranges off bushes, trees, rocks, and even grassy hills out as far as I would ever need. The rangefinder is also impressively fast at returning values.

The only downside to this ranger for me is that it’s larger than many other models, so it doesn’t fit well in many aftermarket rangefinder holsters.

This review is not intended for Midway but for the product I received. I received this rangefinder for Christmas and it didn’t work correctly. Probably took the wrong route and sent it back to manufacturer for a replacement/repair.

They sent me a piece of junk as a replacement. When I returned it it was in new condition in the box with all the components as I received it new. Got it back with what looked like a used rangefinder with just a battery nothing else and there is something rattling around internally.

Took over a month for them to send me the piece of junk they sent me. I had heard manufacturer customer service was second to none and now I would say they are bottom 2. Now I am told they don’t have a new replacement in stock and will not give me a refund for the piece of junk I received.

Probably should’ve sent it back to Midway for a replacement or refund.

Purchased in November to use while long range shooting and hunting. Worked well for 3 days then stopped ranging. A call to Leupold and they sent a call tag for return. I have many Leupold products and this is only the second defective product I have ever experienced.

Still believe it’s a good product, I just happened to get the Lemon. Sent back in early December, will post again when it returns from servive. Only 3 stars because of this. It’s performance prior to malfunction would rate a 5.

This rangefinder has clear optics, adjustable light intensity for the reticle, is fogproof (wasn’t able to test the waterproof rating) and would be 4-5 stars, but is not useful when hunting in quality deer habitat.

I have a 20 year old N brand that goes through brush, saplings and leaves without a problem to reach the last object in your line of sight, just the optics were getting poor and the reticle was black which made it difficult to use at first or last light.

I replaced with this even after seeing some reviews that said it wouldn’t go through thin grass, but I thought surely they were jesting or incompetent with a range finder especially after the store rep told me how great the unit is for him.

Unfortunately the other reviews were accurate. I was sitting in a lightly weeded fencerow with open line of sight (save very minor amount of light grass) and this unit would not pick up a large object that I could see clearly through the light grass 30 yards away (the light grass was adjacent to the object and not directly where I was at).

After several attempts on different objects, including deer in both that stand and in my wooded stands, it was clear that this unit is only good for completely open line of sight and not for deer hunting in wooded, brushy or grassy areas.

I really wanted to love this unit as it feels well built, has great optics and is easy to use in low light conditions, but I need it for deer hunting not for golf.

Terrible range finding capabilities, will not range distances for the following scenarios… – early morning low light – evening low light – very light fog – mist/light rain – will not rangefind off of the body of an animal (Mule Deer – Whitetail -Elk) – long delayed response to acquired distance.

(5-7 seconds) Purchased in September 2021 for fall hunting season. Reason for purchase is lost my previous rangefinder. The lost rangefinder would report back distances in all scenarios mentioned above.

Extremely disappointing!! Will be doing what I can do get a refund and will purchase a the brand previously owned. This is the first review I have ever left about a product. Very upset about the money spent for a product that is absolute garbage! I hope this will save a few people their hard dollars to put towards a quality product.

DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED & PROMOTED!!.

I have to be honest, though I have handled other range finders, this is my first that I have owned. That being said I feel like it’s a very solid piece of gear. It feels good in my hands, solid and like it’s very well made and should last.

I will be using it in conjunction with my rem. 700 in 6. 5 Creedmoor and so far I have had no problems ranging to 800 yards though it will be mounted on my trigger stick to be steadied. I have a Vortex Viper PST on my Creedmoor and I will be doping the rifle with its preferred load out to 1000 yards.

I feel confident in my purchase and I was really impressed with Sportsman’s Guide fast delivery. I utilized the 4 pay plan just for budget sake and I have been very impressed and happy with my membership.

I highly recommend this company.

Well they sent quantity of 12 in a box that would hold 500. My fault somehow I missed the Quantity. Targets are good but gun range sells something similar for $1.00 ea.

Impressed with the quality and the colors of this target. I am still not using it but will go soon to the range to sight and acquire accuracy.

Really nice targets, great for 100/200 yard sight in. Good quality paper,able to sight in 5 different loads/ OAL.

Instructions are stamped on the housing along with center line and increments. Simply read them. I recommended dousing it down in WD-40 and letting it set for a while before using, also run all the adjustments in and out several times and before each use.

Quality is good but I wouldnt consider it a precision tool. Check all the adjustment wheels and snug them with the included Allen wrench, one of mine wasnt tightened at all and was loose in the box. A good oiling and work out should remove any burrs or imperfect threads.

Take your time and dont force it, it could break. If it feels like its binding up, stop and check your work. it should work with just your hands. Ive seen some pics of some wrecked sights and I just have to think someone should have paid to have the work done.

Came in a nice case with 2 sets of jaws and a Allen wrench. I just put 4 sets of night sights on so its already paid for itself times 2. Should last a long time if its taken care of. Happy with purchase and recommended if you have decent basic mechanical knowledge.

Title says it all. I had my doubts, wondering if the aluminum housing would stand up to the alleged super human powers of the factory installed XD sights, but after insuring pusher to slide clearance fore and aft, and left and right and adding a piece of large wire tie to shim one side of the slide in addition to the provided plastic pads to keep it horizontal, two moderate turns of my 15mm wrench resulted in the pop of surrender as the rear sight slid off with minimal pressure.

The replacement sight slid in with only hand cranking the crank rod furnished. Removing the front sight required removing the elevation table and placing the slide where the recoil spring is held in the hole vacated by the elevation table screw and shimming the slide with the plastic pads and my wire tie as with the rear sights.

No wrench was required to remove the front sight, merely hand turning the provided crank. Reinstallation was equally easy after moving the wire tie shim to the opposite side of the slide. Maybe I got lucky, but I believe that with careful layout regarding insuring clearance, and shimming to insure the slide stays parallel to the line of push, my results can be repeated.

The provided pads can not be expected to support the XD slide and must be shimmed! Clamping the pusherto a table or in a vise is a great help. Best of luck, yall!.

I have personally never used another sight pusher but this one got the job done. Centering the upper was impossible so using the little adjustment Guage on top is not helpful at all. Everything is metal and plastic so be sure to not scratch your slide.

Use the plastic inserts that come with it and be certain there is perfect clearance between your upper and the sight pusher. The pusher actually bent my OEM glock sight but I didn’t care since I was replacing it with the Truglo TFX pro.

Very difficult to fully center the sight because sight is impaired by device; after several attempts I finally got it visually centered (will have to test it soon). Additionally, be sure to oil all threads very well because they are very sticky to start.

Use a good gun oil and coat every thread very well for optimum effectiveness of adjusting arms. Overall the quality of the device is 8/10 but it sure gets the job done. If you’re trying decide between a more expensive rear sight tool and this one, choose this one.

Have some patience and figure out how to use it before making your first attempt and you’ll be happy. The tool comes in an awesome carrying case and I believe it would work for any sight adjustment of any pistol.

For precise centering of sight, you will need to make multiple attempts and use a micrometer. But overall, as long as you’re careful and patient, you cannot get a better valued product. Pros: inexpensive, great value, works on any sight, gets the job done.

Con: metal (up and down) adjustment needs to be padded as the included plastic protection piece moves around when adjusting slide.

It’s a great product overall. I hesitantly give it four stars instead of a perfect score because when I look through my regular Vortex binos versus these, this pair suffers a slight image degradation issue, especially in low light.

Other than that, the ability to range-find, change reading brightness, select units, etc. is fabulous. I love not having to switch from binos to rangefinder. Made the difference between bagging the last beautiful buck in the freezer.

I am a big Vortex fan, i have a pair of Razor Bino’s and a Razor Spotting Scope. However in my opinion they missed the mark on the Fury HD 5000s (at least at this price point). I picked these up few weeks ago, after using in the field it was apparent that the glass used is not of the same quality and precision of the Razor HD or Viper HD Lineup.

Needless to say I returned these to Cabelas for a refund. I would also like to add these wear very heavy. If you are to purchase be sure to have a good harness because you will need it for all day hunts.

They do come with a vortex harness, but i found it to be uncomfortable and difficult to adjust. Pros: Outstanding Warranty & Customer Service, Range Finder Works Well Cons: Glass is Mediocre at best, Heavy & Bulky.

I sold my old but reliable Leupold RX-1. I wanted to upgrade to a faster unit with longer range with elevation compensation. I’ve decided to stay with Leupold and bought the RX-1400i. Ordered the unit with Cabela’s.

I was surprised how small and light the unit was compared the it’s first version. I am pleased with the speed, optic, range and functionality. I was eager to test the elevation compensation called TBR by Leupold (True Ballistic Range) that only account for horizontal range since that is the only value required to calculate ballistic drop (to a certain degree).

So I tested it with a telephone pole. I stood at the base at about 15yards, ranged it at the base and top. With a functioning elevation compensation unit, the 2 values should come out equal in TBR mode but it wasn’t the case! I was getting a higher value while ranging the top of the telephone pole which tells me that it was giving me more or less the line of sight (LOS) and not the TBR.

After double checking the instructions I wrote Leupold and they’ve answered that the unit was most likely defective. So I have returned it through Cabela’s excellent service and received a new one. SAME RESULT.

I then wrote Leupold again looking for clarification and this time they never answered back!!!! I’ve then decided to test the unit to more conventional hunting distances and it actually did work as advertised!! Is the TBR mode only active beyong a given distance? It sure appears to be the case but I could not find it anywhere in the instruction manual nor Leupold seems the be aware!!! Soooo this is a great unit that works as advertised but be aware that the TBR function doesn’t seem to work really close range.

I can’t say for longevity or durability, but fit, form and function are excellent. The included case, lanyard and quick-card are well thought out, nice quality items, not cheesey afterthoughts. The eye cup focuses easily and holds it.

Easy two button operation, lightweight and good grips. The biggest reason I bought this particular rangefinder, is it was the only one I could find within my budget that had a red reticle. At least for my eyes, black reticles are great on clear sunny days with no obstructions, but low light situations or cluttered backgrounds, not so much.

This one’s not red like most “red dot” sights or illuminated scope reticles, it’s almost a florescent orange-ish. I love it. the highest level is nice and bright on those sunny days but still stays crisp, and the lowest level keeps it’s detail in poor lighting without overpowering the sight picture.

My only gripe is, while the selectable choices for the reticle are great, I’d like to see a single dot option for it as well. Sorry, that’s the only complaint I can scrape up so far. I haven’t learned all the functions yet, but the quick-card is handy.

Yes, it’s made overseas, but in today’s market, I feel the quality for price-point speaks for itself. I’d buy another.

Got this rangefinder for my birthday, used it for the rest of the hunting season. Best rangefinder I’ve tried in this price range. My friends have the bushnell’s and the vortex rangefinders and mine is by far the best.

So many settings but also simple and easy to use. I bow hunt and this one is perfect for bow. I haven’t even dove deep into the many rifle and long range applications. Ive used it hunting in the pouring rain and no issues so far.

Overall i love the fit and feel, the speed and accuracy that it works at and the durability seems top notch as well. Also for the archers out there the Bow mode is awesome. For the price you cant got wrong with this rangefinder.

If you are looking for a cheap rangefinder for hunting this is it. Its max range is 450 yards or so, but honestly if you go past 200 yards the rangefinder will kinda lag while your hand shakes trying to get a good scan on the target, so its better for hunting purposes rather than golf.

If you are going to use it for golf, just use it for approach shots. That being said, it has a scan function that takes forever to hold down the button to activate, that works well enough. The readings are in +-1 yard increments.

My Nikon coolshot 80vr has. 5 yard increments, so I noticed that the Halo was off by a yard most of the time. If you are finding your Archery gap and doing some short range shots, this may effect the size of your gap.

This device has a slope function that is really helpful and nice. The eye relief is poor, so if you wear glasses, you have to take your glasses off, or really jam the eye piece into your lens to get a clear picture.

The 6x magnification would be better with a better eye relief. Also the display is really faint and hard to see in low light situations compared to bushnell, Nikon, leupold etc. The weight is something like 3oz so that is definitely a plus.

the physical shape of the device, although fits nicely in the hands, is awkward to find a generic neoprene cover or strap to protect it, since this product does NOT come with a case. Buy if you want cheap, but effective and light rangefinder, this is the one.

At bowhunting ranges, this rangefinder is dead-on accurate. Tested using ranges that had been measured with a tape measure spot-on out to 40 yards (I shoot out to 40 yards while practicing, but will only shoot out to 30 yards when hunting) The “AI” (angle Intelligence or logic) feature is really nice too – will compensating for being up in a treestand when hunting.

Importand because an arrow drops a specific amount over a specific horizontal distance. This takes the extra yardage created by line of sight at an inclined angle out, allowing you to sight in correctly.

I had read other reviews that this is not for ranging in low light, as the measurements aren’t visible. This is true, but I purchased knowing this is a limitation. That is a trade-off I was willing to make for an accurate unit at this budget-friendly price.

Other notes, this unit is lightweight, compact and appears to be ruggedly built. CR2 Lithium batteries aren’t too expensive, and tend to last much longer than alkaline batteries, so battery cost should be a wash.

All in all, a great product at a great price = value!.

This is the second Halo product I have purchased. I obviously like the product as I now own two. These things are very reliable and are as accurate as it gets. This one has a few more features than my first one.

The extra features were a must for my little lady. She will benefit from the angle information while bow hunting. They are middle of the road as far as expense, but by no means are they less than perfect as far as function.

If you are looking for a range finder this is the one you need. I have had my other one for 3 years now and have taken game because of the accuracy of the tool. They are good in all weather conditions.

I even had a leak in my water bottle and pretty much drowned it. I took it out of the puddle, shook it off, cleaned the lenses and it worked just fine. I would recommend removing the battery if you aren’t going to be using it during the off season only because you should remove batteries from anything for storage, this is just a general statement, but will definitely make any battery operated product last longer.

This is a good glow paint for black gun sights. It is a small bottle but enough to paint the sights on my 3 hand guns, 2 long guns, with some left over. It comes with wooden dowl pointed on one end and round on the other as the applicator.

I used it some but used a small paint brush mostly. It is water soluble, so you can thin it with a drop of water. It has to be put on thick to coat fully. I applied 2 to 4 coats on most sights. As suggested in the instructions I painted the sights with clear nail polish to protect the paint coating after the paint dried for about 24 hours.

The paint when exposed to strong light glows very brightly for a time, but once placed out of light the paint does not glow. However, the painted sights are still more visible when not glowing than a not painted black sight when pointed at a dark target.

Over all it is a good value and I would recommend it for any metal or plastic gun sights.

This Is Not Something That You Could Pull Out In The Middle Of The Night And Depend Your Life On. For Example, If Someone Broke Into Your Home And You Needed To See Your Sights To Defend Yourself You Would Fail Miserably.

Mainly Because, Unless You Had A Flashlight And An Extra 30 Seconds To Charge Your Sight Picture You Will Not Be Able To See Your Sights To Provide An Accurate Shot. In Short, This Product Does Not Glow Nor Keep A Charge Long Enough To Store And Use When Needed.

Your Best Option Is Finding Tritium Sights That Fit Your Firearm. Tritium Does Not Require A Charge And Can Be Put To Use Immediately. Its Nice During The Day But Is Useless Unless Walking Indoor Shortly After Being Outdoor During The Daylight.

Walking Indoor After Being Outdoor At Night Would Render This, Again, Useless.

Glow paint glows! This was very easy to apply and it lays pretty much where you put it and it doesnt run unless you put a massive amount in one area. Followed the instructions and I had no issues. I later used this on the tv remote for the volume arrows.

It does take a moment of hi intensity light to get it wow bright but a few seconds of led light last a little while. This will not replace night sights but for fixed sights or something you dont want to spend the money on night sights this is a good alternative.

I bought three of these now. Theyre very bright and lightweight. Im a police officer and this is the same light the Department puts on our patrol rifles. Ive got one on my shotgun, one on my own rifle and now one on my belt.

(Which replaces a much heavier bulkier light. ) The only down side is that the batteries arent cheap. Of course this light comes with three sets of batteries. Which is great for the lights mounted as theyre rarely on so they should last.

I purchased rechargeable batteries that I use with the belt light. The light is not quite as bright with the rechargeable batteries, but still plenty bright. We have a different surefire light on our duty weapons but not on our back up weapons.

Though I cant explain it, I find this light with the plastic or Polymer body more comfortable held between my fingers while shooting the back up than my previous light with an alloy body. Ok, can you tell I like these? But for a professional whos life could depend on a piece of equipment, you want something that can take a beating and just works.

Ive had one of these over a year and its been dropped, dunked, baked (in the Georgia heat) and frozen. Its yet to fail. So now I have three. Now, if I could just get more free batteries.

Wanted this light to come on or off for defensive handgun purposes. No dimmed light or strobe modes to confuse you about which light is next in a high stress situation. The tail switch produces a momentary light which easily becomes constant on with a full click.

With a twist of the tail cap, the light can be cut off where it cannot accidentally come on in pocket, purse, range bag, or luggage. I mostly pocket carry this light in jeans or cargos without using the accidental cutoff feature and have never had trouble with it turning on in my pocket.

If I really need it in high stress, I want it ready to go. None of this nonsense of asking an aggressor to please wait while I rack my gun and get my light on and in the right mode. Very bright, blinding light.

Highly recommend this product to everyone gun owner. After 200 dry fire rounds and a 100 live fire rounds, there was an obvious and clear issue with my method of holding the revolver. After getting comfortable with the advice, and the new position, and I developed a new issue.

Even better yet, this same bag is on the 5. 11 site for 135 dollars. Is this a nice range bag? Yes. I got this because I wanted to show my Sig appreciation. Instead I got this bag. Sig is being a middle man for 5.

This is the real deal! I ordered it to carry my Legion pistols to the range. I have the P226 SAO and P229 SAO. The free 5. 11 Legion bags that Sig sent to me fit perfectly in this bag. It has the Legion logo on one side; the Sig Sauer logo on the other.

Beautiful! And built like a tank, like all 5. 11 gear! This bag is very good for you Legion pistols, carried in the free bag. The bags fit perfectly, either horizontally or vertically, which makes sense since they’re all square-shaped.
