This dress is classy and timeless. The material and fit are very flattering. I needed another dress for church and this is perfect . I recommend dry clean for this dress.

Loved it, but had to return it because the color was not a pictured and was darker. I could not match the mother of the bride. If I had another occasion, I would have kept it. Bought the same style in pink.

I bought this gown for my son’s upcoming wedding. It is very comfortable to wear, the material is soft, the pattern of the rosettes is nice and the tiny sequins give it a little sparkle which makes it even more attractive.

I personally would have liked to have seen more sequins. I originally wanted the eggplant color gown, but could not find it in the store, nor could I order it through Dillards because it was unavailable, with no possible shipping available at this time.

I guess the “cargo crisis” is affecting everything, including clothes. But I am satisfied with the Blue Rosette, the details around the neck and the short sleeves are a peek a boo style, where you see the skin through the tulle which looks really attractive.

I would purchase this again as a gown, and I would even consider purchasing this in the short dress knee length also. But I would suggest offering more jewel tone colors in the rosette style.

I loved wearing this dress for my nephew’s wedding. The size was perfect — I’m short and a bit lumpy. This dress made me feel more slender than I am. Two things to note: the dress lining does not cover the shoulders — only the lace– so I had to wear a nude-color undergarment with straps.

A strapless will be wonderful but I didn’t bring one along with me to the out-of-state event. There is a bit of metallic thread shine in the embroidered lace. Also, the colors in the lace have a gorgeous lavender color.

The photo looks mostly silver/grey, but there is quite a bit of lavender. I loved the color. VERY, Very happy with this purchase.

This is a weighty denim shirt that can be worn alone or with a t-shirt underneath. Snap closure is sturdy. Love the shirt. Would buy a darker denim if available.

This is a very well made and versatile piece for my closet. I mostly wear it on slightly chilly days, since the fabric is thick. Such great classic style! I tie it in the front sometimes.

Plan to wear it as mother of groom wedding dress. For me it hit all the right notes for the occasion and my age. However I could not find a nearby Dillard’s store that did alterations for women’s dresses.

Had to pay private seamstress to take it in. It was much too long and roomy. It was not offered in size 4 and the 6 needed to be taken in. Also the skirt rumbles easily and given the care instructions I am concerned about how to remove the creases.

Overall it is an elegant dress that needed more help than I wanted to make it work for me.

I purchased the Alex Evenings size 18w navy blue sequined lace tea-length jacket dress for my granddaughters wedding. It arrived on time perfectly packaged. When ordering the dress I used the size guide provided and wore the underwear I plan to wear under the dress for proper measurements.

The fit was exactly correct except for the length when it arrived. I am 5’7 and prefer the length to be in the middle of my ankle and knee. Unfortunately, I will loose the scalloped edge bottom. My jewelry is a white gold small brooch (the size of a quarter near the shoulder of the jacket and drop earrings.

My purse is navy and shoes likewise. I found silver shoes and purse a little much with all that lace on the dress. This is the second granddaughters wedding I will attend in two years. I have found Alex clothing to be worthy of any women’s wardrobe for all special occasions.

I ordered this lovely dress on Tuesday evening and received it on Saturday. It is for a black tie New Year’s Eve wedding. I’m 62, 5’6″, 170, and ordered a 16. I probably could’ve gone with a 14, but I have heavy upper arms and wear a 40D bra, so I was afraid that a 14 would be too tight.

The size 16 is extremely comfortable – sleeves on the jacket aren’t snug at all. I may take it in slightly at the waist for a more fitted look, but its fine as is. The mandarin collar on the jacket is just right – not too high.

I can wear the jacket with the neck fastened or completely open. I will wear a 2″ heel, and the length will be perfect. The color is a very dark navy, when I opened the box I thought it was black. I’m very pleased!.

My mother has always had difficulties finding the right styles in petite sizes at her height of barely 5ft. Now she can barely shop at all at almost age 90 due to the pain of walking and standing for too long, and has shrunk even further.

I purchased this dress to wear to my granddaughter’s wedding. The dress was not how I pictured it. The top of the dress was lacy. Which I liked. The skirt was full which I thought was A-lined. ( My mistake) I thought the lace covered the whole dress but it only went to the waist.

It looked more like a skirt and overblouse. I really did not like the dress! It arrived later than promised which left no time to order a replacement. I had to wear a dress I already had, to my granddaughter’s wedding.

I really wanted a new dress to wear but hey, I saved myself the cash I would have spent!.

Dress is much more pretty than photo depicts. My granddaughter selected this dress in the Wedgewood Blue for me to wear to her wedding. The color compliments her wedding colors. Dress does run a bit large; ordered a six (using the sizing chart) and it fits more like an 8.

Regret Alex Evenings label does not offer a size 4. Will need to have the bodice altered so the dress fits as designed. The hem on the dress I received was uneven; more than an inch longer on the right side of the dress.

Contacted Nordstrom’s Customer service the the associate immediately authorized an exchange for the dress, as there was another size 6 in stock.

The quality is very nice. I couldn’t believe the price for the quality. Bought it for my daughter for her job. The fit was perfect.

This dress is a perfect fit and the block coloring is fabulous. I look forward to wearing it to church. I purchased a pair of Jessica Simpson pumps that look great with this outfit. I would recommend it to everyone.

I own this hoodie in five different colors. Two of them I purchased about a year ago at a different store and three of them I bought at Dillards. All of them are great quality. The two I already had have washed incredibly well and I expect the new ones to be the same.

The fabric is different and soft. Love the way it fits. The overall fit is great., You can dressed it up or just were it casually. Love this line. Please bring in more of this styles and colors too.

This dress is a little different, and in a great way. It’s authoritative and feminine at the same time, polished and easy to wear, so you won’t be fussing and questioning how you look. I haven’t been to a dressy event in a long time (and I’ve turned 60 in the meantime 😉 ), and I think this dress will give me confidence.

Actually, that age thing is something I should mention particularly: this dress seems ageless to me, and that’s quite rare in a dressy garment. About the fit: based on some of what folks wrote here, I expected to have to exchange my dress for a petite.

I’m 5 feet 4. 5 inches (just past official petite), and saw that it was offered in petite only once I’d ordered the regular. I thought it would come down to my ankles. It does not–it hits mid-calf. I’ve measured and I have an official long torso; I take a long in one-piece swimsuits.

Maybe that’s why the straps of this dress aren’t too long nor is the length. I think the dress might still look nice if it came to one’s ankles. I got the navy and like it, even though I’m not usually a big fan of that color.

It’s such a useful dress that if I were the head of Alex Evenings I’d start offering it in a wide range of colors.

I got this dress to wear to my daughter’s July wedding. I did not want to look frumpy (like I looked in many of the MOB dresses I had tried on previously). This dress is unbelievably comfortable and drapes gorgeously.

I was a bit hesitant about the sparkly neckline, but I love it. I also got the Nordstrom Peep Toe Sling Back shoes in sparkly pewter. They are perfect with the dress. I will be embracing my inner sparkle and looking super classy at the same time.

Lovely and classy top. However, the sleeves are a bit on tighter side, and overall fit snug for its size. They should provide larger sizings and more accurate sizing.

I have had this style of shirt years ago and loved it. I was pleased to see it offered again. I would love to purchase more, but the price keeps me from doing so. Hopefully it will be on sale in the near future.

The sizing is a wee bit big, but with past experiences with ordering online, I went with the next size up from what I usually wear and yes, it was a wee bit bigger, but I did not return it. Lesson learned, if I decide to order another one, I will be more alert to the sizing chart.

It does need ironing though, but that is not a deal breaker for me.

I ordered one of these shirts with the multi-color stripe pattern. In addition to arriving in a timely fashion, the shirt was packaged neatly and labeled clearly. The neckline is placed well; I don’t have to worry about bending over too far and revealing anything (I’m larger in the chest area).

The fit is on the loose, flowy side; I could have gotten away with a size smaller. However, I prefer the flow this shirt gives; it’ll make hot summer days more bearable. I received many compliments on it while at work! The material is a reliable, medium-weight cotton that I am sure would withstand a regular wash.

To ensure the integrity of the shirt, though, I will wash it in cold and gentle and hang it to dry. It’s become one of my favorites. I plan on ordering more in additional colors!.

As the owner of probably a dozen of these (in different sleeve lengths) for the past several years, I believe I am well qualified to review. Pros: *GREAT cut – the best! As being blessed with a pear shape, nothing is better *Good color assortment – would like it changed up seasonally Cons: *Fabric – needs to add some polyester, as it stains very easily and it gets random tiny holes in it, for no reason.

*Hem folds up after EVERY wash. I have to take them out of the hot dryer and spray the hem with water every time. Please, please, please offer all 3csleeve lengths all year round and change the fabric up a bit, so I can give these the 5 stars they deserve!.

I LOVE the style and colors offered. Last year, I bought a three-quarter sleeve length version of this swing style t-shirt because I loved everything about it. When a short-sleeved version appeared, I was eager to order some.

I ordered four. Oddly, one color was more expensive than the other three, and oddly that one color was constructed very poorly. It was probably the machine used by the assembler, and not the skill of the assembler.

The raw edges were not trimmed away while the sleeves and bottom were being hemmed. The shirt looks OK from the outside, but the inside is rough.

I am absolutely in love with the Supima Cotton Scoop Neck Tunic Tank Top! The material The design, fit and material of this tank are all exquisite. Land’s End Supima material is smooth while being a nice light weight yet durable.

In fit, this tank is similar to the LE relaxed Supima Tees however if you are worried about gaps in the arm holes, order a size down. I prefer XL in the long and short sleeve Supima Tees but the L is a better fit in the arm hole area.

I have ordered both sizes depending on whether I plan to wear an over shirt. I am 5’6 1/2 and 155lbs with most of my weight around my middle. If you are diligent and pay attention to sales and codes, some colors can be purchased at a great sale price although I have never seen any of the staple colors at bargain basement prices.

These wash well and do not shrink nor pill.

I’ve really come to like Eddie Bauer’s Women’s Favourite Long-Sleeve shirts (both crew and V-neck). I appreciate that the sleeves are actually long! I hate most long-sleeve shirts because they are too short in the sleeve, or they can’t be comfortably rolled up the arm (either they are too loose and fall back down, or are too tight that they cannot be rolled at all).

These shirts are an exception–they reach my wrist (though they could be an extra centimeter or two longer), and they roll up wonderfully. The only downside to the V-neck long-sleeve shirts is how wide the neck is.

On me, they sit a bit too far on my shoulders and my bra straps often start to show (which I find irritating). The SHORT-sleeve shirts have a narrower neck and so don’t have this problem. It is only with the LONG-sleeve V-necks that I encounter this problem.

If the straps didn’t show then it’s not a bad look, but I’d rather the neck was a bit narrower on these long-sleeve shirts. This is the one area of improvement I have to point out. Also, buyer beware–the colours shown online are not always a true representation of the actual colour.

If you’re picky about colour, I would encourage you to shop in-store so that you can see what you’re actually buying.

I was a long-term fan of these t-shirts, long sleeve, short sleeve, V-neck, crew neck for over 10 years! They were 100% cotton. The quality and fit were amazing but in the past 2 years Eddie Bauer started to use 40% polyester, the quality went down, and my body is not compatible with polyester.

In addition, the product is not Enviro friendly. They are peeling during the first time wearing. I have returned recent purchases and want to return the rest of the recent online ones. Unfortunately, I have stopped purchasing them for myself, friends and family and do not recommend them anymore.

I do not know who was behind the idea! but they ruin the product. I see more t-shirts now staying in stores and not being sold compared to before when they did not last and went fast. Fix it!.

I have bought SO MANY of these shirts, foolishly hoping that the fabric will miraculously not pill after two wears/washes. At first, they look and feel wonderful. I love the length, the V-neck, the color selection, and the just-right medium fabric weight.

Almost every one, however (except black) develops extreme pilling after very little wear, and ends up relegated to my “around the house” drawer. I’ve followed laundering instructions and even turn them inside out to wash.

I dislike the waste of disposable clothing, and really hate having to buy new shirts every season. Please, please find a way to improve the fabric, because I love everything else about these tees – long and short sleeve.

I was so excited about the purchase as usual with ELOQUII. I’d been eyeing this beauty for a while only to receive it , try it on and have and irregular fit in the arm. The left sleeve was sewn together improperly.

It was easy enough to correct the error yet aggravating having to do so. I purchased other blouses along with this one during the holidays and there were threads that should have been snipped hanging from several of them.

Honestly the blouses are only worth the sale price. The quality use to be much better than what we’re getting from the company.

I was excited to get this but unfortunately did not care for the fabric (did not breathe at all and kinda of itchy). Additionally I (along with help of a few friends) could not get the tie to look as pictured, it is challenging to get the tie right.

Lastly, I have large upper arms so the fit was not good for me (due to my big upper arms) and the uncomfortable fabric didn’t make it even tolerable. A pro- color as pictured a nice navy! Sadly will be returning this.

Bought a L it was true to size. Very comfortable and breathable. A little darker in real life but still very nice. 10/10 recommend 🙂

I was so attracted to the top because of the colors and I love plaid. I’m 5’4 40b ordered a size 2 so I would have room. This top was super tight around the bust area and the length on the model looks below the waist however it hit my waistline almost like a crop top and the material was like a hay rough feel.

I have this same tank in black, and was SO excited to see they had it in grey. However when I received it, it was a much different cut and significantly shorter than my black one. So sad about this! I know there can always be some variation between colors/materials but, the grey runs more like a crop in length and more form fitting.
