20 Best Plus Size Baby Carrier (2022 Updated)

I’ve been on an anxious hunt for items to ease my upcoming trip abroad with my one-year old. For context, he’s not walking yet, does not like staying in a stroller for long, and LOVES being carried/worn.

I have (had – more on this later) an ergobaby carrier which I never used because, simply put – I hated it. It was clunky, a hassle to put on, and my son just did not find it comfortable at all. Instead, we’ve used a stretchy wrap since he was born (with great success).

Alas, that’s no longer practical now that he’s older, heavier, and wrigglier. I stumbled across the MiaMily Instagram page and found the HIPSTER Plus; the design seemed GENIUS – carrying a 10kg clingy bundle of cuteness around was really starting to take a toll on my arms, and the prospect of having the detachable hip seat option without the hassle of buckling on a whole carrier was intriguing.

Add in the raving reviews, and I knew I had to try it for myself. And Oh. My. Goodness. Why did I not find it sooner!! Both the hip seat and carrier are very straightforward and easy to wear separately and together.

The wide velcro belt is an excellent, well-thought-out feature; it’s easily adjustable for different wearers, adds security, and provides adequate lower back support. The sturdy hip seat is MAGIC. I can tell that my son is very comfortable sitting on it because he remains in the carrier for ages without any fuss at all.

It’s finally easy for me to do housework because I can have him in the back-carry position and he is always so content! I’ve cooked and cleaned with him on my back, and his weight is well distributed so it just feels like I’m wearing a secure backpack and I don’t have to worry about him slipping off.

He loves it so much that his face lights up whenever I ask him if he wants “MiaMily”. It’s a wonderful solution for busy mummies with clingy babies. I don’t have to choose between spending time with my son or doing the housework I love this carrier so much that I sold off my ergobaby and stretchy wraps within the same week of receiving my package because I knew I would no longer need them! I’m now less anxious for our upcoming trip.

I have had my carrier about 3 years now and it is the best carrier I have ever used. I’ve used numerous others during my 12 years of nannying including wraps. This one I got when my middle child was two months old and it has been a life saver time and time again.

We use it mostly at home when the kids are fussy to help them be close to us but still let us get done what we need to. My toddler is autistic and this helps him get the comfort he’s needing when we are busy and he is feeling overwhelmed.

I also use this every shopping trip for either my toddler or my baby (whose 5 months now and we’ve been using since birth). My toddler loves it so much he says thank you every time he sees it because he loves to go in it.

Can be in a full on meltdown and see the carrier and instantly is happy and excited. He’s big for his age in 4T clothing and he fits super comfortably. My back never hurts when I’m wearing it and I’ve carried my toddler for a few hours in it.

We have all the accessories as well because they come in handy for us to use the carrier with either child and anytime of the year. Dad even loves wearing the kids in it. He is quick to grab it to hold one of them while doing chores around the house.

I used this when I was 7 months pregnant and it made holding my toddler a breeze. If you’re considering getting this carrier, go for it. You won’t regret it. It’s made so beautifully that it’ll last a long time through multiple kids and different weather/areas of travel.

I’ve been able to comfortable nurse both my younger kids in this carrier while they are strapped and having them lay across the seat so I can still use an arm and them be supported at the same time. I’ve attached photos of us using the carrier with our boys over the last 3 years.

This is the best carrier ever!!! This was the 6th carrier I have tried (Baby K’tan, Bjorn, Infantino,Moby & Ergo) and finally Miamily. It is seriously the best designed, most functional carrier I have used.

Trust me I was on the hunt for a comfortable and long term use carrier Here are my favorites parts about it. It has 6 different positions and is amazing from newborn to toddler. The Original Ergo doesn’t allow for forward facing and the moby is so annoying to basically wrap you and baby.

(also other carriers have horrible lumbar support) The Miamily is breathable and the option to make it more breathable with the front panel unzipped. This is not a sweat box like the many other carriers.

I would also love to boast about the Built in storage this carrier has. You can literally take all your important things with you in this carrier such as your diapers,keys your ID your credit card and obviously your phone.

This was the reason I bought it especially on I do want to also Express how much the miamily helped my back from a back injury I had (car accident). No other carriers that I tried helped the lumbar area from straining/pain.

It is truly comfortable to wear. The re-positional seat is great and easy to adjust for baby- no other carrier I had does this. It is incredibly easy to put on. In just a few clicks I can have baby in and ready to go.

Facing in or out are both comfortable for my baby and I. Very user friendly for first time/All moms.

I got this for a baby shower present. It’s not comfortable on my neck at all, it’s kind of bulky for my small torso/body so I don’t feel it comfortably fits me. I also have a problem when I put my baby in it.

It cut off his circulation to his legs and they turned purple, where it cut off his circulation was a bright red mark. We figured we did something wrong and tried again but this time watching YouTube videos on how to use it properly but we had the same outcome.

I’d like to try another move product before giving up but this specific carrier was not for us.

This baby wrap contains loads of useful features that make my baby and I comfortable and safe at all times. The material is flexible and fits snuggly with my toddler while providing ample breathing room and leg room.

This baby wrap is very lightweight and I barely notice that the wrap is around me. The mesh wrap also ensures that my toddler stays cool throughout the day. The product is very easy to use and all of the design features are intuitive in design.

I really wanted to love this carrier/wrap combo, but after quite a few times trying it, I decided to return it. No matter what I did, I could not get the shoulder/chest area tight enough to feel safe and secure with my 7 week old.

I pulled all the adjustable straps and tight as they would go and it was still too loose. The mesh material that crosses over your baby’s back and bottom is not stretchy or adjustable, which, in my opinion, is the main reason why it does not feel as tight.

This is marketed for newborns, but I feel it would probably work better with 3m and up. The material is excellent and it really is made very well. Super bummed it did not work for us!.

I have a name brand carrier double in price of this one. my oldest loved it for a year but my back sure didn’t. my second by 3 months was already done with it. I need to carry her up a huge flight of stairs for preschool and as she got bigger it was becoming harder and harder.

she is 6 months and 18 pounds and the hip seat has been game changer. it is so nice for quick up and downs- really is game changer for dropoff. tried wearing her to the pool today and not only was she happy in a carrier for the first time in many months she actually took a good nap in it.

the seat gives them a bit more room for babies that don’t love being worn. plus it was sooo much more comfortable than our other much more expensive carrier. downside is it can’t be worn from birth (but our second is 6 months and our last).

and there aren’t as many settings, pockets, etc. but honestly I think the simplicity makes it much easier to use.

I absolutely loved the options that come with the Moby wrap and when I found out it was made by Moby it made me even more curious. When I received the wrap I immediately took it out of the box and attempted to use it before reading the instructions.

I think this was near to impossible. I couldn’t figure out which strap went where, and how to adjust properly. I took some time to read over the instructions to figure out how to use the waist holder and tried this out on my 18 month old, it works like other waist holders, you snap I the back, then use the Velcro straps to tighten it even more if it’s loose, I didn’t notice a big difference between this and other brands.

The other great option is you can use the wrap for more than that, if you have an infant you can have the infant front face or face yourself. This took a bit of practicing. I first tried my 18 month old in this, ever since he was little I “baby wore” him until he was about a year old so I wanted to see what he thought, he loved being able to cuddle up with me while I “wore” him but it was a bit difficult, I think due to his size.

So next was a baby, this definitely fits a baby better for the “wrap” portion. I felt it was secure and I was able to feel comfortable holding the baby, but I still feel it was much more difficult to use this than the standard Moby wrap, I would opt for that any day over this.

The 2-1 Carrier was just much more difficult to use and took up more space than a typical wrap. If you are wanting something that you can use long after the baby is no longer a baby this would due, but just keep in mind there is additional difficulty on the straps, adjusting and the bulkiness.

We have loved using the Moby 2-n-1 Baby Carrier and Hip Seat for 9 month old baby! I have been so impressed with this carrier! I used to be a more plus-sized woman and I had a hard time finding carriers that would fit comfortably around the waist without needing to buy an extendor.

Although I am not considered plus size anymore, I noticed that a great benefit of this carrier is how it can accommodate sizes so well with a very lengthy strap. The hip seat is a great feature and really helps to distribute the weight of the baby on your hips, not putting strain on your back.

It’s also much easier to strap baby in initially with being able to balance the baby on the seat while getting the straps situated. I did not have any issues with a sore back with this carrier unlike some others I have tried in the past.

I also felt like it was so comfortable for my baby since she was really sitting on something. She could kick and move her legs around and she was so excited about that! I was even able to use just the hip seat for my 35 pound 3.

5 year old. There are so many different positions you can use this carrier for. The videos online are helpful but I do wish the actual instruction manual that came with the carrier included some more descriptions rather than just pictures.

It still is a pretty easy carrier to figure out. With traveling this summer, this is going to be a very well used carrier for our family! The little pocket on the hip seat that can easily carry my wallet, phone, passport if I’m flying, is amazing! I would highly recommend this carrier!.

When we had our first kid, I got a different, cheaper carrier because I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it. I used it a few times but wasn’t a big fan. I knew this time around (3 yrs later. ) I’d need a good carrier since having a 3yr old and a new baby would be crazy.

I’ve used this more around the house since we’re not very social during the pandemic. This was recommended to me in a Facebook group I’m in and I never heard of it before that! I live in WI so I was drawn to this All Seasons one specifically.

I love how sturdy and secure this feels. It doesn’t dig into my waist (like my other one) or my baby’s little legs and irritate them. She seems to enjoy it as well! I also bought the waist extender since I wasn’t sure if I would need it or not, but I ended up not needing it! I’m still wearing my pregnancy jeans 3 months later (still have that belly) and about a XXL in pants.

I love that there is a little pocket, that it folds down if babe gets warm, that there is a little “sun shield” or as someone else mentioned a germ shield and it’s in a fun pattern too. The lumbar support is nice too! I’m very happy I decided to spend the extra money and get a good quality carrier.

I have became a mom of two last month and bought it hoping to carry both of my children. I love baby and toddler wearing so I was pretty excited when I found this beautiful and versatile carrier. To be even more happy, along with the All Seasons I have received Dragonfly Wrap free (thank you Lille)! What not to be happy with? Since I am using the Dragonfly for my newborn now (we both love it- the best wrap so far) I tried the All Seasons with my toddler and it felt really comfy for both of us.

We tried front and back carry (yes, my 2 year old loves to be carried in the front facing inwards). I can’t wait to use it more! Wish I have had found this carrier when my firstborn was a baby!.

I am fortunate enough to be able to bring my baby to work with me now that she’s seven weeks old. The last week, however, was a struggle without a good carrier. We tried a wrap, which worked, but it’s like wearing an extra layer (or two) of clothing, and tying it is a pain.

I tried a soft structured carrier (SSC) that I picked up at a yard sale many years ago, but the straps would loosen over the course of a few MINUTES, it was such a pain to get the baby in and out, and it had no support.

I fell in love with another brand of SSC which I ordered, but shipping will take two weeks and I need something NOW. Enter the LílléBaby! I ran to target and picked this guy up and I am SO HAPPY with it! It’s crazy comfortable and supportive, it’s easy to get baby in and out, easy to put on and take off, and my (12 lb) newborn is snuggly and comfortable in it.

Additionally, the neutral color means that my husband will feel comfortable wearing it too (the other carrier I ordered is pretty frilly and girly). I am so glad I bought this carrier. It’s perfect! One small tip I will offer: play around with the straps until you find your sweet spot.

Initially, the plastic strap adjusters were digging in under my arms and it was uncomfortable, but I was able to fix that problem by moving the chest strap up farther, which made the whole carrier more comfortable!.

I love my cheetah print Baby K’Tan carrier. It is so comfortable to myself and my baby. Every time I place my baby in it she falls asleep. The sizing chart was so helpful. I was stressing if it’ll fit because I was ordering it online.

And the carrier fits perfectly. My baby is comfortable and secure. Also great on my back as I have back problems. Definitely recommending to all my mom friends!.

It’s very rare that I give 5 stars but after using other wraps this one definitely deserves it! I’ve been using the moby wrap on a regular basis and love it but always have to prewrap it and wear it before leaving the house because I don’t want it dragging on the dirty ground in public places, the ktan is great and easy to use, no wrapping, it’s one quick,easy slip over the head, you don’t have to worry about making sure the ends are even and baby actually seems more comfortable in the ktan than the moby, the ktan also seems to provide better head support than the moby, definitely recommend.

I will say I was borderline between 2 sizes and ended up ordering both, the website says to size down if you’re in between sizes but sizing up was definitely better in my case!.

My newborn is super fussy always wants to be held. But as a mother and wife, there’s always housework to be done. The traditional baby carriers are always to big for him since he was a preemie. I decided to give a baby wrap a try.

I didn’t want to spend an absurd amount of money on a piece of fabric since I didn’t even know if I was going to like It or not so I went with the Acrobros baby wrap. And let me tell you, It’s a game changer! This wrap is super comfortable and the fabric is lightweight and breathable.

After a few tries, I got the hang of the wrap and it was super easy to put on and take off. It holds my baby snuggly but not to tight. And i can totally be hands free while holding my little one close.

I got the wrap in black and it looks super chic. Plus, the wrap was under $20 bucks. You cannot beat that! GET this wrap.

This carrier is amazing! I had such trouble with other wraps and slings—either too tough to wrap/tie or asymmetrical and uncomfortable for me and baby. This is so easy to put on and my baby loves all 3 ways I’ve worn her—kangaroo, hug, and outward facing.

She often only naps in this…drives me crazy sometimes but at least it is comfortable for me. The extra pouch/tie helps lower the weight distribution so it’s not all on my shoulders—I wrap it around her in front, feed the ties through the back loop, then bring them around front to tie a bow.

The manual didn’t say anything about feeding the toes through the back loop but it sure makes it more comfortable and doesn’t compromise the safety of the carrier.

I purchased this for the birth of my second child, hoping it would be an “easy” alternative to my Moby wrap (which I find to be comfortable but annoying to deal with so much fabric every time. ) The Baby K’tan has been disappointing.

I purchased an XS based on the fit chart (and had the fit confirmed by a fit specialist) and it is so so uncomfortably tight. It takes a lot of maneuvering and spreading of fabric to get my 3. 5 week baby into a position that is tolerable for both of us, taking away from the “ease” of use.

Once in the optional hug position, the fabric still cuts into my sides painfully. I can’t fully lift the fabric up over my shoulders without it being even tighter, so my arm movement is very restricted.

It’s nice that they offer fitting appointments, but 15 min was barely enough time. I felt as if the specialist was just rushing me through the steps without listening to my concerns and blaming any discomfort on my stress level.

(Who wouldn’t be stressed while feeling painfully squeezed by fabric and not being able to take a deep breathe as you try to get a fussing infant into a wrap?) I can’t see how this will fit any better as my baby grows bigger.

I planned to wear my baby way before he arrived and researched all types and brands of wraps and carriers extensively! I landed on Lillebaby because of all the features. Loved all the different ways to carry and the longevity of use.

Decided on the all seasons complete because of the zip down mesh back panel and sun/rain cover because I live in Florida and the weather is unpredictable. No one pulled this off my baby registry so after my son was born, I changed my mind and went with the Complete airflow because I read multiple reviews from users in FL and TX that advised the all over mesh was better than the original for hot weather.

It arrived and I was literally having to carry my son to pick this off the porch and open it immediately. My son currently hates to be anywhere but our arms and I can’t get anything done. One hour with this and I felt confident to take on lunch, laundry, even get dressed and sort some items around the house.

It’s not going to allow you to get everything done. No climbing ladders or constant bending over but just walking about with more than what I can grasp with one hand and make fewer trips between rooms.

I absolutely love the structure – everything is easy to adjust and fit to me. It does feel bulky now but my son is only 8 lbs now and I expect this will be strong enough once he’s larger. This was the only carrier I found that had safety straps in case the clips come undone – one of my favorite features and really the deciding factor once I was ready to choose a carrier.

Watched lots of videos before trying it on to ensure I was wearing it properly and knew how to keep my son safe and comfortable. The color is beautiful! Can’t imagine I’ll need another carrier besides this one but if I do (perhaps a backup for wash day) than I will stick with this brand for sure!.

I bought that this about a month ago for our newborn who is now 3 months. For a product that advertised airflow/ventilation in a carrier, it still gets very warm. It doesn’t keep you and baby as cool as I expected.

Also the buckle straps are difficult to use, the one around the waste is super tight, and I have to put a lot of extra effort into tugging it to tighten it. Also the side buckles and straps are not so convenient to tighten or buckle when you’re wearing it with baby in front, it’s always a bit of an awkward struggle to get situated.

Also we are not confident what we are supposed to do with his feet as a newborn, we didn’t find useful instruction about carrying him with his feet in the pocket. I do think as he gets a little bigger his legs will be able to be spread open more to match the carrier, but right now it’s pretty awkward.

This is all comparing to another carrier we bought for $35 on Amazon. However, we do like that the LILLEbaby carrier appears to be significantly more comfortable for baby than the other carrier we used.

For the price, I expected it to be a lot more easy to use.

Very happy with the carrier. Decided to buy this when our son was a bit over 4 months old as he had full control of his head and neck and wanted to be carried a lot. We have a Boba wrap, but found it a little tricky to use, and use well (I wasn’t very good at tying it tight enough and baby would slowly sink lower and lower over time).

Also, baby seemed to want to look out at things a lot and the option to face him outwards made this carrier very appealing. It was on sale too, so great value for the positions you’re able to use. My husband and I have both used the front-facing-in, front-facing-out, and back carry while doing various things (gardening, walking, eating, working at the computer, doing laundry, doing dishes, even going to the toilet!), and baby has been enjoying it (except when he’s not even happy to be held by us), especially when he’s outside.

Definitely helps when trying to get things done, and is also easier on the arms and hands. Found the side carry uncomfortable for me. It was also a bit difficult to seat baby, so I decided not to really try using that position after one go.

The option to cross the shoulder straps does indeed feel comfortable, and even though it means you need to buckle them each time you use it (instead of just putting it on like a backpack), still doesn’t make using the carrier a chore.

The headrest flap is great to flip up when he’s fallen asleep, keeping his head supported, and also providing some shade and noise-cancellation. Would also be good for supporting a younger baby’s neck, I would think.

Easy to use straight out of the box as advertised. Clear diagrammed instructions (thou as someone has mentioned, slightly difficult to see what’s going on as the carrier in the photos is black) and their instructional videos were also very helpful (though I believe they are for a slightly older version of the Beco Gemini? The safety buckles are not present in the carrier I have: instead there is safety elastic, which works very well).

Quite easy to adjust, and also easy to take baby out (though haven’t tried taking him out when he’s fallen asleep). As the weather’s getting cooler, I’m not sure how hot this will get during summer, but right now it’s fine.

The fabric is pretty smooth and comfortable against the skin. Don’t find the storage pocket that useful as it’s constantly squashed while wearing the carrier, making it difficult to get anything in or out.

Also doesn’t seem great for putting something like my phone in, as it’s rounded from being up against me.

Absolutely fantastic, hubby and i usually argue over who gets to baby wear bubba girl. Super easier to adjust from my large bust to hubbys tall and lanky frame. Super easy to get bubba in there by your self after about the third wear.

Came in real handy when we went on holiday to bribie island we could explore the beaches and the butterfly house with out the need of the bulky pram and it also ment we were able to keep up with the other kids easier.

We are not left feeling like our spines need readjustment after each use unlike other baby carriers. Its a sure fire way to get bubba girl to sleep.

As a plus size woman, I was nervous about baby carriers. The Beco Gemini fits so well with still plenty of room! my partner and I can both use the beco and its easily adjustable. I did have to watch the instruction videos a few times to get set up but once I had the knack of it, it seemed so simple! We have a very active lifestyle and the Beco is great for just walking the dogs around the park or hiking through the waitakeres.

Loved this carrier. The fabric comfortably hugged and supported my newborn baby. We used to headrest most of the time. The mesh was perfect for when we walked on hot days. He never got too hot, even when super snug against my body.

It was perfect for our daily hour walks, the carrier straps did not hurt my shoulders at all. The only thing I disliked was the way I had to put it on, I felt like without help it would be a little difficult to both, put on the carrier over my shoulders and hold my baby.

Over all great carrier and will continue to use it until he outgrows it. I also liked the little pocket which was big enough for me to put my key and phone in so I didn’t have to take anything extra on my walks.

It has been such great help! The first thing I noticed when I got this carrier is that on the box it had International Hip Dysplasia Institue on there and that it is hip-healthy. I had a carrier from baby number one and I never thought that baby carriers can contribute to hip dysplasia.

This carrier has a nice thick waistband and shoulder straps which make it very comfortable! There are 2 zippered storage pockets, which have been amazing! As you know most women’s pants have those dinky little pockets that nothing fits into, plus I have been wearing my maternity pants still, until I lose a little postpartum weight, that don’t have pockets sadly.

I have been able to fit my cell phone in the top pocket which has been great. There is also an adjustable head support which supports her head very well. I have used another carrier that was not as supportive and I can tell there is a BIG difference.

It is a three in one so it’s great you can use it with an infant, facing in and facing outwards. Plus there’s an adjustable seat size so you can use it up to 30 lbs. I would highly recommend this product!.

I ordered several different structured carriers (Ergo, MiaMilly,Bjorn and LilleBaby) to try on at home but none fit me perfectly. On top of that, none gave great back support. They all relied on waist support to help the back but it didn’t work for me.

I went into Buybuy baby and a wonderful manager helped me find one for my body. This one fits my frame perfectly (5’3″ and 127lbs). The trick I think is that it has a full panel on the back that seems to distribute the weight.

My back hurts less in it. Baby (8 weeks) loves it too. It’s cozy enough for him and can grow with just a few tugs. Also, very easy to put on by myself. I love the color but wearing it while eating and doing light cooking means I have to keep it covered or it will definitely get very dirty quickly.

One big issue I had with my LAST baby carrier was that the carrier was bulky on my shoulders and would fall off! No matter how much I tightened it. Although it would fit my husband perfectly. The Stokke carrier is great quality and fits!!! You never feel like it’s falling off your shoulders if your petite like me.

You also have awesome back support that straps you and the baby in comfortably. I love ❤️ how many ways there are to adjust it to accommodate growing babies. Love it!.

I really wanted to love this, and I do use it. but not as often as I was hoping. While the directions for tying at pretty good, it’s just a tricky maneuver. The length of fabric is overwhelming and I feel like I’m flying a kite in parking lots when I whip it out… I’m average to small in the waist and I use most all the fabric…and my baby’s still small.

The fabric is also pretty thick, which makes it strong (yay!) and it does feel secure on, but also toasty for baby, I often just worry about him being too warm. i don’t know if I can’t attribute this to the specific product or the entire “wrap” concept.

While I like them aesthetically so much more, I have to admit, practically speaking, I prefer my “backpack” style carrier.

I use this every single day as I have a little hobby farm. Little one happily sits in it while I feed the animals and do a little clean up. Very easy to use, I looked up videos on how to properly wrap up baby on Pinterest, and I love the different ways to style it! It is also very fashionable, and have gotten so many compliments and questions about it when I’m out and about! I love this trendy pattern! It’s gender neutral too, so I can use it for any baby down the road.

I love this wrap!!!! I have been using this around the house when I need to keep my baby close, she falls asleep so fast in it or if she isn’t tired she is so content in the wrap and it’s great for skin to skin time on the move too.

It’s super easy to use! The only disadvantage is that the material is pretty thick when bunched up so it is hard for me to nurse her if I am still wearing the wrap, so there is a lot of undoing it, nursing, and then tying it up again after but I’m a new mom so maybe I just need to figure out the right angles for breastfeeding while wearing it! But this has totally saved me and been perfect for my baby who loves being held all the time!.

We tried so many baby carriers of different types, but this is by far the best! It is so comfortable on my hips and shoulders! We also have a Deuter carrier for hiking, but since we bought this Tula Toddler, we stopped using it because the Tula is much more comfortable for both of us.

We used to have Baby Björn one, but that was a very disappointing product. I am so glad we’ve found Baby Tula, and I’m so happy that I can still carry my toddler son! He is 13 kg and 22 months old, and from the first second we tried it, he absolutely loved it.

We used it every day during our one-week holiday in Lisbon, and I had no pain at all despite the that I wore it during long walks up and down the hills and stairs. I am so satisfied. And let me point out the wonderful customer service.

I really love this carrier, but it doesn’t get five stars because it’s not super easy to get on with the toddler. Our baby version of a carrier has a clip from the “seat” part to the shoulder part so that you can put the child in and then put in on, or have someone else put the child in while you’re wearing it.

It’s just a bit difficult to get on. We have to have my daughter stand up and i put it around her and then try and buckle the hip clips through her legs while she’s still standing. Maybe there’s a trick Im missing? Either way, once the carrier is on it’s really great! I’m 5’4 and can easily carry my 100cm 3 31/2 year old for awhile.

We use it for quick weekend trips when we don’t want to bring the pram and it’s really been a nice addition to our lazy toddler vehicle collection. 😂.

To me the toddler carrier is the best investment. My one year old loves it so much. Also I use it a lot when my son just wants to cuddle but I need to do things at home. It is great when shopping. I find it annoying when people just come up to my son and try to be all in my son space.

It is super annoying to tell people “hi can you please back up”. Some won’t even move back. So when I have the carrier it is harder for them to come up. I get left alone more often since my son is so close to me.

As well I know for some parents it may seem like it is not worth the purchase because the child might be heavy. But trust me the carrier is great for big kids. It doesn’t hurt your back at all. If placed correctly you can usually wear it for a good while.

I’m 5’8”, 240lb, and 7 weeks postpartum. I’m naturally large in the chest and definitely bigger since breastfeeding and pregnancy. This carrier is comfy but as other have said the shoulder straps are tight.

I so wish they were adjustable. I feel that I personally and right on the cusp of it not working. In my pre pregnancy weight of 210 and pre pregnancy boobs this carrier fit very well (I tried it with my cat, it was a good comparison lol).

The long straps that your suppose to wrap around your body are also right on the cusp of being too small. It can’t wrap all the way around me so I tie it in the side like in an example photo. I still use this because I don’t find the flaws to be bad enough to stop and I hope as I attempt to lose weight it might start to fit better.

I do recommend this for smaller people or at least smaller chested people. It’s a very nice fabric and super easy to clean. The pocket is honestly useless because your babies butt will just sit on whatever’s in there unless it’s cards or maybeeee a phone.

I’ve tried several baby carriers and I love this one the best. I could never get the hang of the true wraps and some of the more traditional ones were too bulky or hard to clip. My doula recommended this one and it’s been amazing.

So easy to put on, very supportive if you tie it tight enough (but sometimes I just tie it quickly to run a quick errand and that works too), seems comfortable for the baby and I love the zippered hip pouch that’s built in.

It’s big enough for my phone and keys. I especially love it for the newborn phase. Customer service is also fantastic. I’m using it for baby #3 now and the belt clip broke. They were so helpful and I’m back on track wearing baby again! Highly recommend getting this one.

Buyers should be aware that the Boppy pillow is not what it used to be. I had ones from years ago for my first child and loved it for the 2 years I nursed. Decided to get a new one for my next child and they are significantly smaller.

It’s no longer a suitable nursing pillow. The old one measured approximately 19×26 inches, and the new one measures 16×19 inches! Way smaller! Not sure what kind of shady games Boppy is playing, but it’s a very lame move by the company.

I would no longer purchase any Boppy products. Very disappointed.

I’m so happy with this carrier. My cousin had a baby and of course I am the babysitter, so I decided to pick this up so I can manage the dogs and the baby at the same time. i was a little concerned that it would be sturdy enough.

well it most definitely is. It’s pretty rugged, easy to wipe clean on the go and easy to put on, once you get the hang of it. The material is thick and comes in a nice style that goes with almost everything.

Baby is normal sized so it works great. It would be fine for a cute, chubby baby as well! I’m very please with the quality for it’s price and recommend this.

I bought this after dealing with a hurt back for much too long. I found it simple to adjust it to the different ways. I really like the padding for the head. The stitching is done well and the material is comfortable as well as easy to clean.

Best part of it is my baby is comfortable and it does not leave any marks on their skin as others I have tried have. It is excellent to use whether it is hiking or housework.

This is a wonderful baby carrier. Firstly, the removable headrest is so cushiony. Perfect for young babies and removable for older babies. The legs have such soft padding that baby’s legs won’t get raw or rubbing marks.

And there are three positions to hold the baby in! I love that this grows with the baby! So glad with this purchase.

We purchased our Omni 360 carrier when we were expecting our first child, in addition to a stretchy fabric wrap I thought it would be a practical option for my husband (who was less likely to go for the stretch wrap).

Initially I thought I was being a bit luxe and maybe it was a bit extravagant. Friends who also have one rated them highly, this supported out decision to purchase. What I liked about this carrier was the age/size range that it catered for (quite wide) and that it didn’t require an additional newborn insert – so while expensive, it would see us through a good period of time.

The carrier proved to be a practical option for walking along the beach with a newborn – my husband was able to carry our baby, and we didn’t need to worry about sand and our pram. I enjoyed the Omni 360 for our newborn as it was easier for me to get on and off, and a more seamless transfer of a sleeping babe – for context, I am on the shorter side.

As our daughter has grown, she is now 17 months, I have found it a great option for doing the groceries (especially during these covid times) as I haven’t needed to put her into a shopping trolley, she has a great view of what we are doing and can participate.

More recently it has been a great option for fruit picking and allowing her to participate in the process. For us, this has been a great investment piece which we have utilised in conjunction with our pram, it allows us to do things hands free while still including our daughter.

Fairly solidly made but not particularly well designed. There’s no way to adjust for torso length and the one-size-fits-all approach creates a really disappointing product. I’m 5’9 1/2″, not a particularly tall guy, and have to have the “hip” belt way up around my mid section to keep my baby at the recommended carry height.

It just slides down as we walk since there is no hip supporting it and also keeps the carrier from distributing the baby’s weight well. The padded section of the straps is also very short. I get it. This product was probably designed mostly with women in mind.

I have broader shoulders and some muscle and the padded section of the straps only goes an inch or two down my back, leaving only the webbing for back straps, neither comfortable nor particularly secure.

The straps that adjust the length of the shoulder belt are also the only straps that adjust tightness on baby. Basically I have to cinch the hip belt as tight as possible around the bottom of my rib cage for proper ride height and then cinch the shoulder belts only as tight as I dare, being mindful not to draw them too tightly for baby, and then just sort of keep hitching my son up as we walk.

I’d bought the harness in hopes of also using it for light, low impact activity like snow shoeing and cross country skiing, but that is totally out of the question. I was also very disappointed to find out shipping on returns was at the buyer’s expense.

That’s not particularly indicative of a company that stands by its products. Bottom line is this could have been a solid carrier with another piece of fabric between baby and adult with baby security adjustment straps separate from the shoulder adjustment height straps and a simple Velcro-closing height adjustment strip for the hip belt.

Without those, it’s really just not appropriately constructed for men, taller women, anybody with a little more body mass, etc. Construction is sturdy, hence 2 stars instead of 1.

We are really pleased with this baby carrier. I was hesitant to buy it due to the high price, as we already have a sling we had been using successfully. However we wanted one where the baby can face forwards safely, and this fits the bill perfectly.

Baby loves it, it’s also much more comfortable than my other sling due to the padded waist strap giving lots of support. It’s comfortable both outward and inward facing and I use it most days now. There is a handy zipped pocket which is great because I can’t access my jacket pockets once the sling is on.

The strap across the back was tricky to reach at first but as long as I make sure I really loosen off the shoulder straps, then I can reach it and fasten it easily enough. It’s really quick and simple to put on.

I recommend it, but it is expensive.

I gave this 4 stars because my husband loves it, but I’d personally give it 3 stars…and that’s only because I think the quality of the materials and padding is really well done. I’m 5’3” and had a c-section.

I think this was designed for taller, bigger people because I’ve adjusted this thing so many times and it has never been comfortable for me. 7 months postpartum and it still puts too much pressure on my incision.

I just can’t get enough support. I also think it’s too big, like the structure is too long. Again, our daughter is 7 months old and fairly long. We have her facing outward and the front flap is at her lips.

She seems pinned in there and not in a comfy way. I personally hate using it and the straps are out of control, very hard to hang or store. Nearly impossible to put on alone. But again, my 6’-0,” fairly built husband loves it so there you go, a very conflicted 4 star review.

I spent a few hours comparing baby wraps and I’m glad reviews eventually led me to purchase this from Baby K’Tan. I have an Ergo Baby carrier suitable from birth that my 4-week-old unfortunately hated (I’m thinking she’ll enjoy it more when she’s a little older), so I was desperate to find an affordable, easy-to-use, and breathable wrap that would do the trick in the interim.

What distinguishes this from other wraps is the ease of use and quick setup—after watching the same YouTube video three times, I got the hang of seamlessly putting my daughter in it without a huge fuss from her.

Other wraps I researched were reviewed by others as overly complicated, not very breathable, and time consuming to put on, but not this one! It takes me ~2 minutes to adjust the wrap and put my baby in it (pro tip: it’s helpful having a floor length mirror or even a window to see what you’re doing).

I am also impressed with how sturdy it is for essentially being a piece of fabric. It’s been a huge lifesaver being able to hold and carry her while doing chores around the house, eating, or taking a stroll.

plus my daughter ends up falling asleep. While I was initially hesitant about the hefty price tag (relative to other wraps), I’m so glad I bought this one and would recommend it to anyone!.

I bought the K’Tan Breeze when my one month old started developing a flat spot on his head. I always put him down for naps, and would tote him around in his car seat to run errands. I have a Tula Explore that I tried with him when he was about a week old, but it was bulky and he hated it, although I do think it will be great when he is bigger.

I also tried a ring sling, but after watching tutorials on YouTube and multiple attempts I just puke the get it adjusted in a way that was comfortable and secure, and my baby hated it. I liked the looks of the wraps, but was intimidated by them.

The K’Tan looked perfect for around the house and errands in town. According to the size chart, I should have bought a medium, but I went down to a small and am glad I did. For reference I am currently 5’7” 175 pounds post pregnancy, but I also have a smaller bust.

I love how portable and lightweight it is, and easy to stuff in the diaper bag. It’s also super convenient that the support band folds in on itself and holds the main carrier keeping everything together.

My baby does better in this than he did in the other two carriers, but it really doesn’t offer any head support. My son has held his head up from birth, but is still a little wobbly at 2 months old. He has just enough strength and control to push against my chest and stretch out the carrier, so his head is away from my body and unsupported, even when I try to turn his head to one side and pull the strap across the side of his head to encourage him to relax.

For around the house when he’s being fussy and I need to finish getting ready to leave it’s great because it’s so easy to put on and take off, but I ended up buying the ErgoBaby Embrace for errands and walks and it’s hands down both our favorite.

I also don’t like how much fabric there is to it, especially over the shoulders. It really limits my range of motion for my arms. I’ve debated returning the K’Tan, but because of the multiple positions including hip carry and it’s simplicity I’ve decided to keep it.

Three stars for the reasons above, plus price.

So, here’s the deal, like most new dads I felt really really out of my league when it came to ALL of the baby gear out there. There’s a product for every these days and most are designed for, you guessed it, babies and mom’s.

These leaves most dad’s out in the cold when it comes time of finding ways to bond with their new baby. This was all until, we found the Baby K’tan. My wife actually borrowed one from a friend and raved about it so much, I started to see the instant benefits, so I decided that I would give it a shot.

I purchased the K’tan Breeze for myself, mostly because I give off SO much body heat, I assumed the breathable mesh material would give both baby and myself some relief and I was not disappointed at all.

The ease in which I was able to use this product meant that I could start wearing my baby and instantly bonding, just like mom. It also frees up you hands and arms so that you can still be a functionable adult.

I cannot wait until baby completely holds his head up so that we can try some of the other positions. I recommend this product for ALL of the dads out there, who are looking for ways to bond with their newborn.

This wrap is supportive for your back, the material is comfortable and soft for you and your baby and it’s easy to use.

My son is going through a growth spurt at 5 weeks and is also very gassy. Last night he was screaming bloody murder and was inconsolable for two hours no matter what we tried. I decided to put him in his wrap, and initially he fussed and pushed and squirmed.

In three minutes of just rocking with him in the wrap he fell asleep. After hours of discomfort a few minutes in the wrap with me soothes him to sleep. Tonight, as soon as he started fussing I put him in the wrap and we avoided a total meltdown so it definitely wasn’t a fluke.

In day to day use I am able to get housework done, carry him with minimal discomfort (I have an old back injury so carrying him too long in my arms hurts) with the wrap my back feels supported and comfortable.

Purchased this wrap carrier to make holding my baby easy while doing homework for school or working from home. It’s very sturdy, and makes baby comfortable being right against your chest. The instructions the carrier came with were very clear and easy to Understand, I like that they provided photos along with the directions, after a few uses you become a pro at how to best position your baby:) is also super handy to have when picking my older son up from school, I no longer have to take the whole car seat and stroller down just to walk in to pick up my son, all the moms at the school love it and were even more excited when they heard the price of this item.

Extremely satisfied and will be purchasing as gifts for my expecting friends in the coming months. Every mother needs this! Especially ones that are on the go in or out of the home, or have other children!.

I am a nanny for a 7 month old. My hips, shoulders and arms have been killing me as he’s quite colicky and fussy and needs to be held often. This takes the weight off my hips, allows me to stand up straighter, and he loves the soft texture of the carrier unlike his more structured carrier.

I wish I had gotten this months ago, and I will be using this from the get-go with my own children to save the strain on my body. YOU NEED THIS CARRIER. Great price also, affordable, lightweight, easy to use and comfortable to wear all day.
