20 Best Plus Size Life Jackets (2022 Updated)

I am a plus sized gal who loves to paddle a canoe. My old life vest was big and bulky and made paddling tough. This life vest is the perfect solution. It is very thin and light when paddling, but inflates instantaneously when you hit the water.

How do I know that? I got to see it in action when my husband and I accidentally flipped our canoe. Fortunately we were near shore, but this thing inflated within seconds. I was very impressed with how much buoyancy it had.

Luckily you can purchase rearming kits, too, so I will be able to reset the vest for our next trip out. I love this life vest and have purchased another one for my husband.

Shipping took less than a week, ****** responded to my only question which was regarding whether the cylinder is included or not, and YES IT IS INCLUDED. I would definitely repeat buying from this ******.

As for the PFD it self: – IMPORTANT: This PFD is US coast guard approved. There are other quality and good reviewed Inflatable PFDs out there, that have different certifications, but are not US Coast guard approved.

So keep this in mind. – I have not tried it on the water yet. But I did a lot of research online about different types of Inflatable PFDs and their firing mechanism. If this is your 1ST inflatable PFD like me, it can be a bit confusing.

-So here is the summary: There are two main types of inflatable PFDs: Auto and Manual only. This ONYX PFD has an option to switch from Auto to Manual only mode. All inflatable PFDs (including Auto) can be inflated by pulling the jerk to inflate handle and or by plowing air into the mouth piece.

There are different types of firing mechanisms. This specific PFD gets inflated when the yellow bobbin gets wet then it triggers the firing pin which then pierce the CO2 cylinder causing the PFD to inflate.

If you switch it to the manual only mode, it will not get inflated unless you pull the jerk to inflate handle. The manual only PFDs are ideal for when you are worried about accidental firing/inflating.

For my fishing and boating needs the automatic mode is recommended. If however, i wear this while skiing or with similar activities, I will have to switch it to manual only mode to prevent it from accidental inflating.

– Important: The PFD gets delivered unarmed. You must arm it by installing the CO2 cylinder before putting it on. Doing so is easy enough, yet its a bit intimidating if its you first ever inflatable PFD and if you are trying to rely only on the text manual.

– Rearming kit should include: (1) 24-gram CO2 cylinder with a 1/2-inch thread (2) yellow water-soluble bobbin for automatic activation – this should not be older older than 3 years from the production date and some recommended that it should be replaced at least once a year (3) green indicator clip – Fit is nice and its very light weight.

– Appearance is very basic but I dont care much – It comes with a mesh carrying bag which is nice.

While I like to wear a foam life jacket when paddling, when fishing I very much appreciate inflatables. I have had several over the years, and found this to be really comfortable and affordable. Yes, inflatables require a little maintenance occasionally, but the benefit of staying cool and comfortable (and SAFE) is worth it.

My wife insists I wear it when fishing alone, and I actually do! I haven’t had to use it in the water thankfully, but love the confidence it provides on the water. The folks at Onyx provided product for me to test, and it performs great.

I may do a swim test and jump in when the weather warms up. it only costs a small amount to rearm and is easy to repack.

After many hours researching personal floatation devices, I’m thankful I selected this pfd. We were boating up an Alaskan glacier river to our Moose hunting campsite. We had an issue with one of our other boats that caused me to be dumped into the 35 degree water backwards and head first into the river which is moving at 11mph.

I had my cold weather gear on with waders and I’m 265lbs. Everything was soaked and heavy. This pfd not only kept me and my clothes afloat, I had my. 45 pistol, holster extra full mags and my large lock blade attached to my hip.

Due to all the debris under the river, it made the current extremely violent in an up and down movement and this bright pfd kept my rescuers able to see me bobbing up and down in the current. This pfd literally saved my life! Thanks for an incredible product!.

This is probably the most ideal vest for “customer use” type of whitewater rafting. I am a solo rafter, so it would be a bit restrictive for my movement in the boat, etc. What I was looking for was more of a guide vest, but I got to see the solid construction of this model before returning it for an NRS Big Water Guide PFD.

The shipping was extremely fast (1 to 2 days). It was my fault for ordering the wrong vest, so I would recommend this vest. Return was quick and easy to get my money back in my account to order the other vest.

Comfort: 3/5. Quite bulky in the front—makes it feel snug and it’s a bit uncomfortable to sit in, plus it gets really hot. The breast cutouts are a nice touch but probably not crucial for someone with a small chest like myself.

The lowest clip that prevents it from rising up when you’re in the water has to be super tight around your ribs to be functional. When it’s not super tight, it sits at an inward angle and rubs your stomach with a rough material.

Effectiveness: 5/5. I tried floating face down in my pool to test the buoyancy of this PFD, and every time it immediately flipped me onto my back without me moving at all. I was impressed, especially when comparing it to another Body Glove life jacket I got from Walmart (which did nothing to save my life in a face-down-in-water situation).

When the lowest strap is tightened as much as possible, it does not float up around your neck/chin (though it does when the strap is not as tight as can be). I felt pretty secure while wearing it in the water.

Kayak Compatability: 4/5. The back sits at a super awkward height for a kayak seat. It’s not really long enough to comfortably sit between your back and the seat, but it’s not short enough to sit above the seat completely.

I kept having to pull it down so that it rested between me and the seat, otherwise it kept pushing up around my neck and shoulders which was uncomfortable. It might stay down if I had the lowest strap as tight as possible, but that’s just not comfortable when sitting for hours.

The side straps surprisingly did not rub on my arms when paddling, however I always wore a t-shirt or long sleeved shirt while kayaking so I’m not sure if it would’ve rubbed my bare skin. I don’t think it would based on the position of my arms when paddling.

Overall: 4/5. I have not decided if I will keep this PFD or return it. I wanted to try on others, but sadly a lot of REIs stores don’t carry a wide variety of PFD’s (specifically women’s PFDs). I ordered this online and might order a few others in the spring to try on.

I just feel “eh” about this one. It does the job but I’m never really excited to wear it. I think I’ll look for something less bulky and that has a better (longer or shorter) back length.

I started sailing this summer and needed a PFD that was comfortable, had pockets for stashing my phone, keys, etc. , and most of all, fit properly! I wear a 36H bra so finding one with enough room in the chest without sacrificing fit in other areas was important! This jacket is perfect! The padding is low on the vest and overall it has a super sleek profile.

The pockets are well placed and don’t stick out like they do on other vests. This thing is so comfortable that I don’t mind wearing it one bit! It’s well made and feels very high quality. I also tried on the Kokatat MsFit but if you’re looking for a sleek design that’s cut for curves the Stohlquist Betsea is far superior, in my opinion.

I just came back from a camping trip and went paddling on a kayak on 2 days at Bon Echo. I could easily paddle for several hours and didn’t notice it at all, meaning that it allows for full body movement without feeling bulky.

It’s quite lightweight, so I never felt it weighing me down at all. It has 2 zippered pockets in front, which could just fit my iPhone XR with Casemate case. It was a little tight, but it worked for my phone.

The women’s PFD is the same price as the men’s, which is fair. Nylon feels quite durable and seems to be water resistant. Well made and more comfortable and less bulky unlike most cheap PFD’s I have used from rental places.

So far I’m very happy with it and find it’s worth the price!.

Last night I responded to a call of a capsized boat with three people on board and the one of the occupants was wearing this jacket. I will say that this item Jacket helped save his life. They were stranded for an hour in 44 degree water and not only was he floating his core temperature was still 98.

4 degrees. So in my opinion this jacket is worth the every penny.

The quality, craftsmanship, features, sizing, and comfort are excellent. I am 6′ 240lbs. and the fit of the 2XL was perfect. Comfort wise, I see no problems hunting in this coat all day long. The discounted sale price was great and the shipping was actually very quick.

So far I can’t report on it’s real purpose and I hope I never have to.

I purchased this jacket and am pleased with it. Good floatation, good insulation, BUT since the floatation material goes all the way up the chest to the shoulder, it makes it difficult to mount a shotgun if you are seated low in a boat or a layout boat.

My wife did some “surgery” on it and it works much better.

i picked up the kokotat maximus, on spec, having used FXR’s as my rescue vest of choice since their launch to market. ! the kokotat is a generous M/L fit, with a side entry option. ! i can easily attach or contain a full pin kit, phone, sling, extra carab’s in it.

! i feel solidly protected in the vest as panels overlap on the sides. ! it’s yellow, red, green colour scheme stands out a mile. ! the only fault i find is that the rescue harness tab for securing the carabiner, pulls away, too easily and owing to it’s location on the right side of the vest creates a slight trailing snag hazard, just more than i’d like.

! overall, an excellent piece of equipment that i’d really have no hesitation recommending to any instructor level kayaker/guide/boater. ! gadget.

I purchased this PFD for a trip to the Grand Canyon. The National Park Service requires USCG approved PFDs for rafting trips on the Colorado River. I checked the Kokatat website which stated that the Centurion was USCG approved.

When I received the PFD, I noticed that it was approved by Transport Canada but not the USCG. I contacted Kokatat and they were unable to verify that the Centurion was USCG approved. I checked the USCG website and the Centurion is not listed as an approved PFD.

However, the Maximus and Maximus Prime are listed as approved PFDs. I returned the Centurion PFD and ordered a Maximus PFD. If you are heading to a river in the US, you may want to select another PFD.

After tons of research I finally settled on the Astral V-Eight Fisher. I live in the southeast and primarily kayak during the summer months. I wanted a vest that was comfortable during long days on the water and wouldn’t leave me sweating all over.

This one has performed flawlessly over my 1 full season with it. It’s in perfect shape even though it’s had some hard days on the water. I’m more than impressed so far.

After decent online research including calling Astral, I ordered this vest – size M/L, my chest is 39” – with the primary purpose of paddling. I loved the large clamshell pocket and how ventilated it is in the back.

The issue is that there’s a lot of material on the sides – a lot – making paddling and even walking quite uncomfortable. I don’t know if I should’ve gotten a smaller size or if this pfd just isn’t good for paddling – though when I called astral they said it’d work well.

An awesome PFD / life jacket focused on the angler, but great for anyone that would like some organization while on the boat. Astral really hit the mark with this one! Super comfortable and lightweight even when getting out of the boat to do a little walk-wade action – you forget you’re wearing it! As a guide, everyday angler, and general boater this life jacket is great! Plier Pouch = Awesome and easy to get to making fish handling easy and quick.

I bought the aqua/navy color, in a size S/M (I’m female, about 140 pounds, 5’6) to use while kayaking alone in the bay area of a Florida barrier island. My kayak is a sit-on-top model, for reference.

When I first tried on the vest in the store it was definitely on the snug side fully zipped, but the underarm area is cut so low that I didn’t have any mobility issues while paddling. I like how short the vest is, too; when I sat down in my boat the vest didn’t ride up and push against my neck or chin the way longer styles of vests are prone to doing.

The little elastic loop sewn near the top of the zipper was a perfect spot to attach my safety whistle, and the front buckle area worked fine for clipping my paddle leash to. All in all, VERY happy with this purchase (the price seems great, too).

Sporting good manufacturers NEVER consider women with curves. Especially short women. I tried on every vest in the store. This was the only one that came anywhere close to being acceptable. I am 5’1″ so the shoulders of most life jackets wind up about the bottom of my eyeballs when sitting in my kayak.

Extremely uncomfortable as I feel as if I am being suffocated. Zippered vests do not take into consideration that a woman might have breasts that don’t like being squashed, which believe it or not sporting good manufacturers, is incredibly uncomfortable.

I had to buy an XL (not ideal) to be comfortable. I am also short waisted, which doesn’t help. Because of my hips, life vests refuse to stay put. They want to settle in around my waist. This vest is not perfect by any means, but it was the best I could find.

Interestingly enough, I saw another woman on the lake last week built just like me wearing the exact same vest (unzipped) so this vest is the only decent option.

I really didn’t think the “bust support pads”, as stated in the description, were going to be a huge benefit but WOW! The company should really sell this as the perfect vest for anyone with chest surgery/mastectomies/reconstruction.

basically anyone who doesn’t want pressure directly on their chest. As a survivor, this is incredibly comfortable to wear all day on the water in my kayak when even a t-shirt can be irritating. I highly recommend this vest, in case you couldn’t tell already.

It runs very true to women’s sizing (I’m usually a L/XL ladies shirt and I got the L/XL vest – fit perfect).

Perfect for a size 16-20 in womans! I’m a size 14/16 and its perfect! Didnt even have to adjust it The color in the title says pink/lime but its black and pink like the photo. Which is fine for me! I just wanted it to be pink 🙂 perfect for my vacation!.

This is a very good vest especially for large busted ladies like my self. I wear 85F and this fits me better than any other life west before. Perfect for SUP boarding.

Excellent paddle friendly vest if your on a budget. Its a little bulkier than some, but after a day on the lake it was still comfortable, and no chaffing!

Well made vest. Cant beat the price. As far as the comments of it running too small in my opinion are exaggerated. It could use one more loop on the side so that when you pull the straps to enlarge it they don’t hang down.

I am 5 /10 and 250 lbs. , and the 2x 3x fits fine. The lg fits my wife ok as well. The lg could also be adjusted to fit a teen. Hope this helps. I ordered 2 of them, and then ordered 2 more after I had a chance to critique them.

I originally purchased the stearns youth vest that said 50-90lbs. It was way too small for my 12 yr old 85lb son. After reading reviews I purchased this stearns vest in the adult l/xl and it fits well.

The straps needed tightened a little as there was a little slack in the sides (under the arms). For reference my son wears a youth xl shirt or a size small mens shirt. I wear an xl shirt and there is no way that this would fit me.

I purchased 3 all size L/XL. They were used this past weekend by 4 different people of varying sizes. The smallest height 5 foot 2, 120 lbs, the heaviest 5 foot 4, 180 lbs, the tallest 5 ft 11, 160 lbs and lastly 5 foot 5, 145 lbs.

The L/XL fit everyone great. A lot of reviews said they were too small and an adult should buy 2/3XL but I think they didn’t realize that the sides expand when you let the straps out. All 4 people were able to pull the straps to make the vest snug as it should be.

We wore them to paddle board and didn’t have any issues with chafing on our arms from paddling. Great buy at a great price.

I’m glad Chuck at the Roseville store spent some time with me picking out an appropriate PFD. I am mainly on lakes and flat water for SUP. I’ve fallen off a few times as I practice turns and such—and now that I know how to kick behind me to get back on my board, this thicker vest doesn’t bother me at all.

It’s armholes are lower and it has straps instead of more “vest” which helps me be free with arm strokes—no chafing! I’d rather be safe than sorry, especially in colder waters.

Love this life jacket! The back is super high so it doesn’t get in the way of a boat seat. I like the several ways to adjust the straps for a secure, personalized fit. The pockets and loop tab are convenient.

Very comfortable, cool, and stays put, not riding up to choke me.

While I have only used this once, I can say that it comfy right out of the box. It felt “broke-in” right out of the box. The material feels very durable. Many points of of adjustment and they remain unobtrusive.

The pockets are spacious. They fit my iPhone 11 with room to spare. I’m 6’5” 235lb. I ordered a L/XL.

After trying several other popular jackets I decided to splurge on this one, and I’m really happy with it. It has ample foam padding but cuts low under the arms and doesn’t stick out as far as others so no issues when paddling.

The top straps tighten it nicely and the straps do not get in the way like the last jacket I’d tried that had stupidly long straps. The zipper is a bit tricky as you’d expect, but there are also two latches so you can just use those if you are on calm waters.

I bought the yellow color because i want to be visible, not blend in with the water, and it’s a really pretty yellow if that matters to you. My favorite feature though are the pockets. You can fit a phone, garmin, pocket knife and chapstick easy and still have room for a granola bar and other things.

I went with the M and it fits great, no riding up on me and fitted but not tight. For reference I’m 5,5 around 150lbs and a solid B cup. I wouldn’t take this out on class 3 rapids, but for swift rivers and lakes with alot of wake from boats it’s exactly what i need.

This is the 2nd Kokatat MsFit Tour PFD in size Medium that I’ve purchased. The first one is fantastic – so comfortable, fits well, and I’ve happily used it for years. The one I received today is absurd.

The padding is so thick in the upper front that I can’t see over it to even see the pockets – and that’s when I’m standing – when I sit down I feel like I’m being swallowed whole (and YES I know how to adjust a PFD).

The whole upper front is comically thick. The back also feels longer than my other MsFit (I don’t have it in front of me to compare side by side). Either they’ve redesigned this vest but not renamed it or QC is way off.

It’s a freaking mess and at this price point a real annoyance (Kokatat should be better than that). Annoyed to have to pay a return on a product that should have fit perfectly. Even my husband commented that something “looks really wrong with that thing” when I put it on.

I guess I’ll be heading to a brick and mortar shop to get a new PFD.

I have have used a MsFit Tour PFD for many years, it is an excellent quality, well fitting, comfortable PFD. It is short waisted enough to allow wearing a tow belt without any problems. I use the PFD for kayak touring and coastal play, over a shirt, a paddling jacket or a drysuit and have no complaints.

It is marketed as a women’s specific PFD but seems to fit men just fine, I am a man and know a number of other men who also use, or have used, the MsFit Tour. My wife has also been using a MsFit Tour for many years and also likes it.

Its pockets are really useful and having 6 is great as it makes it easy to find things. The radio pocket is a good, accessible, place for a VHF radio but I generally use it for a GPS, which it is also really good for.

The double side pockets are made of stretchy material, making it easier fit things in them. There is also a small sleeve pocket inside the main zipper flap which I find ideal for a map compass. All the pockets have D-rings to attach a lanyard to.

The knife patch is also really well designed as it has a cover over it which prevents a knife sheath from getting snagged if you are doing a self rescue.

ONLY first impressions. Will use in Florida Keys next month snorkeling. Just unpacked unit today. Well built and solidly stitched. I expect it to work as I intend, which is as a ‘buddy’ with solo snorkeling off beaches while the rest of my vacation party lounge about on the sand, seeing me bob about in the distance but uninterested in joining me swimming and not capable of making any swimming rescue.

As a Water Safety Instructor Trainer, I can self-rescue in most situations. But wanted my wife to have lessened concerns about me bobbing about. This looks like it will not be cumbersome to wear while snorkeling, but I will test fit in lap pool before.

A few items that I would have done to make improvements, mostly up to the manufacturer. First, the D-ring for hanging things is on the same side as the emergency flotation activation lanyard. Hanging anything off it would prevent fumble-free activation, IMO.

Second, the webbing down back and around waist is insufficient. It needs and under the crotch webbing from the intersection of the back/waist down and around to one side (where the D-ring should be!) so that when inflated, it does not ride up and off person activating it.

I do NOT think that the average person using it would maintain a hand on the webbing at the front buckle and keep pulling down. That eliminates two handed swimming to surface, IMO. Third, the excess webbing that is not needed, once the waist is cinched for your size, will wind up being flapping in the water.

The ‘keeper’ band for it is insufficient. It slides about too easily along the belting and actually can let the loose end of waist belt fly free. Since I’m the only one using this, I’ll find a tighter clip mechanism that will keep it ‘stowed’.

Fourth, I would make this unit in YELLOW, not red, so to provide more WARNING VISIBILITY during use, but before activation. This would be helpful for folks snorkeling at and under surface of water to be more visible to boaters for better water safety, IMO.

Once activated, the flotation bladder is VERY visible YELLOW. Lastly, I strongly suggest you buy two gas cartridges, in addition to the one provided with the PFD. Practice with one cartridge so you know how much this adds to your buoyancy and brings you back to the surface.

That keeps one in the PFD and one spare, in case you use it or it accidentally activates. You need to have this ready to do; not wanting for a replacement cartridge. I will update after pool use and ocean use.

I saw the same thing at the Minneapolis boat show for $79. 00. Then I saw the same thing with a clear window in front at Cabelas for $149. 00. The basic A/M 24 Auto/Manual jacket seems to be basically the same animial but with variations that really don’t make you float any higher out of the water.

I think the Walmart one priced at $102 seems to be ok. I am using if for a kayak. Therefore the first thing I did was convert it from Auto to Manual (meaning I took out the water sensative activator to inflate) and I will just relay on pulling the Rip Cord.

It still inflates automatically with the Co2 cartridge but you have more control of when it inflates. Overall the product fits great, looks great, seems like a pretty well thought out jacket but don’t expect to float all day in it.

I am using it as an emergent type item to save my life if need be. So, if you are kayaking or canoeing or need to feel safe all day in a boat but need the comfort of something light and low profile, this is a great product.

Just returned from week trip on Truman Lake. My new Onyx vest is excellent. The quality is outstanding. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. And the vest will fit larger than a 52″ chest. I’m a 53 chest and it was cold and rainy so I had a heavy jacket and a rain suit under it.

No problem. If you are concerned about getting splashed and the vest inflating. Let me say It rained all morning one day and vest was fine. There are many many other life vest out there. Many at twice the price of the Onyx.

I did my shopping and this is a great deal. I have even seen this brand worn by several fisherman on the World Fishing Network. Great value for your buck.

This is the best invention for a life jacket yet! My husband was never a fan of wearing a life jacket when fishing, but with this inflatable life jacket he doesn’t even know he has it on and he wears it every time he goes out!.

quality item, shipped fast. Havent used it yet (deployed), and hope I don’t have to honestly. It fits well, and I expect it will work as advertised. I bought for fishing swift, cold, rocky and slippery river bottoms when where wading, or moving from hole to hole by boat.

A full vest gets in the way of casting, fishing. With this item, if you slipped on rocks and were carried into main current, you’d have a excellent chance of escaping situation. With nothing, you’d be in trouble.

We bought this PFD in two sizes to keep on our boat for wake surfing/boarding, kneeboards,etc. Items arrived quickly. We are pleased with the quality of these. They are a great choice for the price. In my opinion they are a better buy than the more expensive options based on price and quality.

I bought this in a medium based on the sizing chart. When it came in I put it on and it felt quite a bit snug. I wasn’t sure if it would work for me or not. I decided to try it in the water and it was perfect.

It didn’t move up and down and worked great for me. Glad I didn’t return it. I’m 5’8. Wear medium-large tops and size 6-8 jeans.

Ordered a small for my friend. She weights maybe 120 or 130 and is 5’4″ to 5’5″. She likes the Georgia Bulldogs team so we wanted a red and black one for her. It floats great and is comfy. it is a little tight in the chest so she could do a size up maybe.

After she breaks it in it will be a bit looser. She is roughly 32 size I believe or 34.

Bought this lifejacket for son in law, and he wears a large lifejacket. this one didn’t fit me, so I know it won’t fit him. He normally wears mine in the boat. I tried to return, or exchange, and the option just disappeared and I can’t get to an exchange page.

Very difficult resolving this. I know there is a phone number, but I don’t have the time to hangout on the phone all day.

Life jacket was extremely small for a size xxl. Your return policy is not good. Was told I would have to pay $35 shipping to return a $59 life jacket. Decided to keep it for my kids even though I cannot wear it.

Not a good experience, Will not purchase anything from you in the future. Virtually every other company we buy on-line from has a much more favorable return policy. Not happy about this!!!.

I am 61 and weigh 270 lbs. I dont drink but I have a fat belly following several back surgeries. Lifelong surfer, diver & swimmer. Wanted extra protection for times I may find myself in trouble. They say that a 50 year old man will only survive for 5 minutes in 50 degree water.

Straps on the sides make it super easy to adjust up to a 6XL. Very comfortable and gives me peace of mind so that I can stand up paddle. Built very well!.

The very best life jackets I have ever owned and in pieces and was in my fire proof water poof safe. I would like to get my life jacket back thru replacement. I’m between the 55inch mark if not bigger.

I bought this hesitantly due to the photos. Good jacket, pics show USCG approved, but better than going Amazon unknown. To my surprise, this is a stock photo from the US website. Mine can Transport Canada approved which made my day.

Not a bad looking life jacket. Seems very small for the size range advertised. Doesn’t have the neck pillow or lift strap so I wouldn’t put on a small child . Certainly not as advertised.

Bought for kayaking. Liked this has four belts and large arm holes. Bought SM/MD as it says it can accommodate 32-40” chests. I have a 34” bust and the top strap barely extends out enough to come around and buckle.

The top of the jacket also rides up and the cuts into my neck which is not realistic for short or long term wear on the water paddling. Disappointed and will try another style and return this one.

I just bought this vest this weekend to get a swim workout in a lake. Usually I lap swim in a pool, and I’m not comfortable doing open-water swimming in deep water, 15 minutes swim from shore. But this did the trick.

I usually wear M shirts and got the S/M vest with bright yellow/orange coloring for visibility. It’s snug but fits, with full freedom of motion. (You don’t want it loose to swim in. then you’re hanging oddly from the vest, with terrible swimming form.

) Obviously the vest itself, and the form it put me in increased drag and reduced my swimming speed by about 1/3, as there was very little glide after each stroke. But, it was comfortable to wear, and let me feel comfortable swimming far from shore, across a lake, in deep water, and I got a great workout doing all the major swim strokes, while also being able to rest whenever I wanted in the middle of the lake.

I highly recommend this vest!.

Very nice quality. Online it says men’s but it is adult sizing. My husband wears a size XL t-shirt and he bought the size L/XL. I (female) normally wear a size L in adult t-shirts but the L/XL was too big.

The S/M feels a touch smaller than I’d like but it does fit fine. I also wish these were a tad longer but I think that the length of them will be more comfortable for kayaking as when I sit down I think the length will be very comfortable.

I purchased this item for my sister, unfortunately the store did not have may options in larger sizes and this was the one she ended up with. But she does love it. Loves how it is adjustable and fits.

The life jackets are a great value and we needed the larger size. The color is bright and can be seen in the water. Great fit and quality product. Body Glove is a good brand product and can’t beat the price for 2.

A little smaller than I thought it would be, but does fit and works great.
