I like tampons without applicators and have been using this one for years. I like how discreet they are, just fits in my pocket or closed fist, and they absorb well. this brand uses non-chlorine bleach, which I also support.

I usually need super plus which Grove doesn’t have right now, but I use these regulars on lighter days.

I’d used Playtex Simply Glide since the mid-90s and, once my daughter needed tampons, we were going through 2 boxes a month of the ultras. Never had a complaint – or a leak. Then came the shortages and the outrageous price gouging.

In the space of a month they went from around $6/box to $15/box on amazon, where I always bought them. I switched the Playtex Sport as I absolutely refused to pay that much for a box of tampons. Wasn’t impressed with the Sports.

The absorbency listed is the same but they definitely don’t do as well. A few months back we wouldn’t find ultra, in either simply glide or sport, so we settled for super plus. What an absolute joke! Their absorbency is apparently 0mg! I put one in and within half an hour I’ve leaked onto my liner.

Remove the tampon and it’s basically completely dry! Hasn’t changed form, hasn’t absorbed any blood! These things are too expensive to perform so poorly! I’ll be having a total hysterectomy & oophorectomy in December so, after 34 years, I won’t have to deal with this but for my daughter’s sake we’ll be switching to something more reliable.

So disappointing to have to take my brand loyalty elsewhere after over 25 years but this product doesn’t deserve my loyalty or my money!.

I only use plastic applicator tampons. I don’t know what it is about the cardboard ones but I just don’t like them. Someone gave me this box of Playtex Sport tampons and I was really impressed. There’s 48 tampons in the box.

They have two little tabs on the wrapper that you just pull apart making it so easy to open. I thought that was really creative. I also like that they are fragrance-free. The box claims they have 360° sport level protection.

These tampons have a protective leakage barrier. It also has flexible interlocking fibers that work quickly to trap leaks and an anti-leak back up layer for extra protection. I can definitely say that I’ve never leaked wearing these especially because they come in 4 different sizes depending on your flow.

I love the contoured tip and no slip grip applicator. I think these would be good for anyone who wears tampons. I don’t play sports but I’d definitely recommend these to girls that do.

I loved playtex tampons especially the sport although I have used gentle glide as well. I noticed a few years ago that they started to cause irritation though and had to stop using them. It took me a long time to find an organic tampon that didn’t cause irritation and was easy to insert.

I would love to go back to playtex as they are the most comfortable and easy to insert I HATE cardboard applicators. Please come up with a tampon that is 100% organic cotton including the string. I would also absolutely LOVE if you would bring back the light absorbency option as my cycle isn’t very heavy.

I miss being able to use these. They are hands down the most comfortable brand available on the shelves. For something I had been using since my very first cycle at 12-13 years old. It was extremely disappointing to have to give them up.

I love using Tampax brand for my menstrual needs. They have always worked great for me. They Have a great scent, the packaging is gorgeous and fun, sleek and softly designed for no discomfort and they really do hold up without any leakage! Tampax are affordable and can be found almost anymore.

I have found them in most pharmacies and in stores such as Walmart, target and most grocery stores. They make different sizes inorder to cater to your unique size. They are made to fit any woman of any size and they are backed by so many companies.

I believe them to be highly effective and trustworthy. Great company as well as their products. If your looking for a tampon you can trust, I would definitely recommend or any of their products. They have something for EVERY woman young mature.

The beauty of this organic cotton tampon is that you are NOT giving up any of the benefits of conventional tampons. The applicator is made of plant based ingredients and is as comfortable to use as a traditional plastic, and FAR better than a cardboard applicator or none at all.

The compact size is great. Easy to use. Worked as they should. The major complaint I have is that the wrapper is VERY noisy. You would think they could find some other recycled material to use that would be more quiet, especially if women were involved in the design of this product.

When opening the wrapper the corner tears completely off and usually ends up on the ground. Would like to see more wrappers that open along the side or are resealing but made with more environmentally friendly materials.

I e hears alot onout organic tampons in the past and it seem like quite a controversial subject! So I was a bit skeptical when I got these. However, I’m getting older and decided that I have to do better in taking care of myself so I figured that all natural, sustainable products would be best to use on and especially IN my body.

I’ll have to say after hour 1 of my cycle starting, I was elated that I mage the choice to use them! The absorbency is much better than any other brand I’ve used, I used to go with the cheapest ones, but that route causes alot of issues and though these are a bit more expensive, it’s money well spent! I finally had the chance to try these organic tampons, and I’m glad I did. They absorb as well as the other tampons offered by Tampax, but there is a noticeable improvement when I use these. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I notice that I don’t sense as much of that period smell when changing my tampons.

The best of the best is what you can call OI Organic Initiative. So this product is unique in itself as it does not contain synthetics like rayon and it contains no bleaches or dyes. This is very important as introducing synthetic products internally can cause issues.

Although this product does not contain harmful ingredients it is amazing! These come in a range of pure and naturally absorbent tampons. I’ve tried a number of organic tampons and this was by far THE BEST! The other brands would get stuck when inserting and I would waste so many tampons but this inserts with no issues. I also didn’t have any leaks like I would with other “super” organic tampons.

After a fairly difficult search for reasonably-priced organic cotton tampons, I am overall happy with Lola. I started with the compact applicator tampons about three years ago, then switched to the non-applicator tampons after about a year because I wanted to reduce the amount of waste I was contributing to the planet.

The absorbency is pretty good, though I have experienced leakage (even with the Super Plus size) on occasion when my flow is heavy. My only other complaint is that when I remove one of these tampons if my flow is not heavy, it’s not uncommon for some of the cotton to tear off and get left behind.

It eventually works its way out, but eww. I feel like this problem could be mostly solved if Lola would offer the light absorbency in the non-applicator tampons. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the product for the price.

Full disclosure I haven’t actually used one of these yet, however I trust the tampons are just as good as the other types I have used. The thing that makes me rank these as lower is the way they are advertised.

They are advertised as an “eco friendly” option since they do not use plastic applicators. However each tampon is individually wrapped in plastic wrap and there is no where on the description page of the product thatIdiscloses this.

I understand they need to be wrapped somehow, but is it possible to use something thats not plastic to better fit their advertising pitch. ? At this rate the cardboard applicator ones would be more “eco friendly” than these.

Whether or not these exact words are used to promote these, the advertising is misleading.

I have ordered these tampons for a few years now. Probably since Lola started! I wanted it to be conveniently shipped to me because I was always forgetting to get tampons when I needed them at the grocery store.

I love that I can pause when needed (like when I was pregnant) and pick back up using the service. The tampons are amazing. No leakage and they are extremely comfortable. I used to use OB brand and I’m glad I made the switch to Lola! I love that they are made of organic cotton and love that I can customize my box depending on my period and my needs.

I used to get the tampons delivered monthly, but now I get the 6 month supply every 6 months!.

I few years ago I noticed my tampons were smelling a bit funny. I’d previously smelled of nothing. I was using on trampoline for years. They’d changed to that mesh wrap thing and it was not agreeing with me.

THANKFULLY they released these little gems and I’m back to normal. PHEW!!!! The only issue I have is that I cannot find them as readily as when they first came in the scene. Kinda weird. I always end up buying them online from eBay or whichever random site has sellers selling them in groupings.

This is my first time trying organic tampons and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them. I really like that the cotton in these tampons is 100% organic, free from chlorine, free from fragrances, and free from dyes.

The box also states that the applicator is plant based. The box I got contained 18 regular sized tampons, individually wrapped in sturdy yellow plastic. The size of the cotton itself seems smaller and more rigid than the brand that I usually buy/use.

However, the box claims that it still absorbs the same amount: 6-9 grams. The applicator is really smooth which makes it comfortable to apply and the bottom part of the applicator pushes forward easily.

However, my biggest dislike of this product is that the applicator doesn’t have much of a ridge at the bottom of the top portion of the applicator and is slightly flimsy, which made it slightly more difficult than normal for me to get a grip when I pressed the applicator stick the first time.

In addition, there is nothing really to stop the bottom part of the applicator from pushing past the top part of the applicator. After a few uses though, I am liking these tampons a lot. Once inserted, I would say that these tampons are pretty comfortable to wear and you can’t feel them once inserted.

I haven’t had any issues with leaking and the string seems pretty sturdy when removing. Overall, I would say if organic products are important to you, then this would be a solid purchase!.

This has become my preferred option of tampon! I prefer to go with organic options since I find them significantly less irritating. I typically go with O. b. brand already and my local shops always have the applicator-less ones for cheaper so I always went with those.

While out and about I saw this option that had the plant based applicator. That caught my attention. Finally got to put em to use and I’m rather pleased. The super does a super job so far compared to other ones I have tried and I have a heavy flow.

This is a long review, but I wish I read these reviews before heading out into store. £3. 99 on offer price is a relatively cheap price but it’s still not worth the money. And tampax, do you really need to use soo much plastic, I was surprised to see that every part (3 parts to the applicator) of the applicator is made from plastic and quite thick plastic at that.

Bottom line – there is no point using these tampons, I’m glad I tried this inside my home before I decided to commit to going out!.

I love these. Every since I’ve started using tampons I’ve always used tampax Pearl, either the standard or compak. I must admit, I was sceptical towards the compak ones due to their size, but they’re so much comfier, in my experience they can easily give you a good 8 hours of no leakage- you can’t really ask for more! I think as far as tampons go, they’re super comfy and last ages.

The applicators are nice too, pull out and click in place and it’s ready to go. The compak ones are nice as they’re small too, so they’re easy to pop in a pocket or hide in a bag for discretion. They’re so little no one would notice! I won’t use any other brand- I’ve travelled to another supermarket just to get my tampax Pearl before!.

Probably the best non-cardboard applicator organic tampons, not that i can find many which aren’t non-cardboard. I find normal tampons to be really dry and itchy at times, and removal is painful, but I don’t have these problem with organic cotton tampons.

The applicator is very smooth, and the tampon itself is soft, comfy to wear and not painful to take out. The ‘teeth’ which release the tampon are quite sharp though, and can poke a bit on the way in.

But if you don’t mind the price and the slightly less comfortable applicator teeth, these are great. Otherwise, TOTM’s cardboard applicator organic tampons are just as, if not more comfy, and less expensive.

Please don’t spend your money on this! Really really poor absorption, I leaked all over my clothes and my flow is not even heavy. The applicator is really fiddly and was really hard to get a grip on.

Whenever I took the tampon out, it would completely fall apart. I haven’t had any of these problems with other brands selling organic tampons.

Tampax have always been my go to tampons. Love that these are made from organic cotton and are nice and soft. They are easy to insert and offer good protection from leaks on lighter days. They only feel uncomfortable when a change is needed.

Find the packaging very attractive and are easy to spot on supermarket shelves. Very fair price aswell. However protection for heavier flows should be available in this range aswell. I havent been able to find protection above regular.

It’s easier to use than cardboard tampons; but I hate it’s made from plastic! Their easy and convenient to use. Tampax is more expensive than other brands and have disappointed it’s job performance.

I currently have had accidents often from the lack of protection with Tampax. I’m not impressed by the amount of trash it makes either. Not worth purchasing in my opinion!.

these have been a constant since they came out on the market, whenever that was. I’m almost 50, so I obviously don’t remember! Anyway, I’ve tried some other more natural and more environmentally friendly ways of managing my period, but I always come back to these.

These have been my go to tampons since as far back as i can remember!!! I’ve used these since i first started and I’ve never ever had a problem. The only, only thing i will say is, i like the scented option and it seems i can never, hardly ever find those boxes.

I’m not sure as to why either?? I mean, i guesssss i could understand the sensitivity part and how it could be an irritation thing but dang. Could we at least think of the women who don’t have that problem?.

Let me start this off by saying that I love the philosophy of this brand. As I’m trying to be more conscious of certain chemicals I’m exposing my body to, these tampons seemed like the perfect purchase.

Unfortunately though, they really missed the mark. They last up to 2 hours at most since they don’t have any actual absorbing power. I leaked through my clothes with this after just one hour. I tested this tampon by submerging it in the toilet and I saw that it didn’t open up at all.

How does this absorb anything? Unlike other reviews, I found it easy to insert and comfortable to wear, however the fact that it has virtually zero absorbing capacity is a deal breaker.

This brand has plenty of good ideas and products. However using these better for the environment tampons made me regret trying them. The materials are safer all in all but I found them to be very uncomfortable, almost itchy feeling.

Please don’t take this as a total knock on the product itself. It just could have had other material used. The brand is good so please give them a try.

I love these tampons I got them in a fff box once and found that these do not upset my ph. Many other “vegan organic” blah blah blah tampons still disturb my flower but these do not and have dialed down my chances of BV or smell of BV.

There was a review that said they have leakage BUT with these types of tampons because they aren’t overly chemicalized you have to change them more frequently. So, please give these a try I highly recommend if you struggle with BV smells like I do!.
