20 Best Tank Build Outriders (2022 Updated)

I am SO happy this is run by a spring and not rubber bands! It’s a great build with a little challenge to it. Like a real fish tank, I can watch it run for a while 🙂 My suggestion to people building this, if you test it out along the way, and it doesn’t seem to run properly, keep testing it.

The gears need several test runs to mesh properly. I would run it and when the fish get “stuck” just give them a nudge. I tested the mechanism several times during the build, once pieces were stabilized, I’d test.

It runs perfectly and the spring totally winds down.

This kit comes with the ability to be three different weapon vechile. But I bought it because I’m a hobby painter and I like the way it looks. Rotary guns are cool so are the laser weapons you could build it with too.

Options are good.

Great model and it was needed for my budding primaris marine army. Easy to put together with time and patience. Process was good and straight forward easy to follow instructions.

Can make all 3 gladiators plus Impulsor. No magnets needed, just dont glue certain components. Check YouTube for good videos on this project

Like all plastic kit-set models the modeler will find good and bad points, with each model they construct. For those with an interest in Military models, especially tanks, this will fill another space with a British WW2 tank.

It will give you an idea of the construction, of the wheel bogies, hull components,and turret. If you have a German Tiger (or Panther), compare this Cruiser to the Tiger, and you will get an over view of size, power and gun range.

Enjoy bringing constructing your Cruiser, and adding to your collection.

Order arrived in plenty of time for my sons Christmas present. Tamiya lead the field in model kits when it comes to quality and the price for the Tank musuem was good too.

The kit appears to be well made, and very complete and authentic. I am sure that I will enjoy building it.

A great little belt. the multi-colored LED is used to great effect, and the crank on the side gives operating the toy a pleasant sense of heft. Only major downside is how little the belt can do right out of the box.

The DX build driver is awesome! Sounds are nice and the design is sleek and cool. Worth the price!

After using this just once my kids and I could tell that it skimmed a lot better than our old one. That translates into less stress on the tube the rope and the boat and makes for a more exciting ride.

I would expect it to last a little longer also. It is 56 deflated as I think most tubes are measured I assume for marketing purposes to make you think it is bigger than it actually is when it is inflated.

Anyway we have just finished using it for an entire day with two teenage kids at a time and are very happy with it. I would probably buy another one when this one breaks”.

We bought this tube a few years back and it was great. easy access. nice handles. I bought a different tube because it was thicker but it was not as comfortable. I will buy another Rave today!

This tube is GREAT! Especially for the price. I have only had one other tube before (airhead) and paid double. This guy seems to be built to the same standards hopefully it will hold up so far so good used about 5 times on the lake and it still looks new.

I was looking for this since black Friday, Walmart was sold out and 3rd party sellers were asking double. I decided to go shop at my local Walmart and found 7 on the shelf for the 29. 95. I was so excited that I found one in store for $30, I wasn’t about to pay double, the online site said out of stock, but was lucky to get one.

i know my granddaughter will love it.

My 9 and 10 year old built this together. the instructions really helped them. I did keep checking on them but they didn’t get stuck. It didnt take them that long to build. and asked to keep it together in their room.

that was until their little sister got her hands on it. they will be building again theis weekend They! They especially loved the crab and his treasure chest. I think the set up looks amazing and i am very impressed with it!.

Ive been building tank models for 3 years, tried several brands, and nothing beats Tamiyas newer models quality. The instructions are always clear, pieces fit together seamlessly, plastic is high quality, and has nice decals.

Theres mold lines on some pieces but they are very minimal when compared to other brands, so theyve never been an issue for me but are something to keep in mind if you want them gone, and sandpaper is an easy way to minimize them.

The detail in pieces and commander is very intricate and smooth, which can be appreciated by anyone whos into modeling. This tank is a smaller one (about 5 – 5 1/2 inches) but was still really fun to build and I very much enjoyed it.

All new tooling of a significant tank used in early days of WWII with the invasion of France. Subsequent tanks captured by Germans put to use for security. Model features link and length injection molded hard plastic tracks.

It makes all the old issues of this model obsolete. I hope Tamiya sells the tracks as an add on to the old Heller kits!! First rate quality as expected from Tamiya.

Apart from the fact that it is a French Tank!😱 It turned up on time, in one piece, which is something the French are not known for 🤣🤣 I have bought from the Tank Museum before and I will do so again.

Fuel pick up tube in size the tank is not gasoline stable. Left me stranded in the lake with a tow bill after a year the tube cracked. More research said it’s a common problem.

Right size tank for my boat. If fill hole would have been in front of fuel sender it would have been perfect.

We are getting ready to install our 2nd Gleam. Not two, but replacing the first one that was installed. The wax ring that comes with the Gleam is grossly inefficient, so I had to pull the toilet and use a jumbo ring due to sewer gas smells.

While the 2nd wax ring helped, it did not eliminate the sewer gas smells completely. I contacted Kohler and told them repeatedly that there were no sewer gas smells with the previous toilet and that I had to change the wax ring because it was grossly insufficient.

Their “Support” and I use that term loosely was constantly asking questions indicating that they had not even read what I submitted. I eventually got someone U. S. based and they agreed to send a new toilet.

The fact that they sent a new toilet tells me that Kohler realizes that the design of this toilet is absolute junk. So, I will have the replacement toilet installed just to see if it eliminates the sewer gas smell or not.

If not, this one will be going to the dump and I will never purchase a Kohler item again. The other problem that other reviews on other sites have mentioned is the toilet seat. The bolts gave out within a few months at the most and had to be replaced.

They were completely rusted even though we do a good job of running our exhaust fan and do not live in a particularly humid environment. Overall, even though I will be having the replacement installed, I cannot recommend this Kohler toilet.

Nor, would I recommend any other Kohler product at this time.

I bought this today from THD to replace my 20yr old toilet. It took about 2. 5 hours to remove the old toilet, and install this one, by myself (clean up and caulking still pending). I could not lift it into the SUV myself (since I was installing this myself, I wanted to make sure I could move it so I did not ask for help), but when I broke down the parts, I could manage to get them upstairs (55 yr old woman).

The way it secures to the floor is cool. Install was pretty straight forward, and the skirt will make for easier cleaning that that old indented p-trap that I never could get clean. It was hard to tell what I needed to buy, but here is the list: a new hose (just cause I wanted to), new floor bolts, a wax ring.

That’s it (I did not replace the closet flange, but would have needed one if I did ). Everything else is included. I was having a hard time tightening the tank to the base (this too is a neat system as it doesn’t have holes in the tank like my old one did.

I used my old fly nuts, and would recommend those over the included nuts. There is a great video to watch on installation. Look for that.

I bought three of these toilets. The were relatively easy to install in the same house. They worked well for the first year or so. It was advertised on the box no clog toilet. With three children in the house I went with this product line.

I have replaced the valves in these toilets once each toilet. Now I am about to do it a second time. The flapper valve is also aged and is leaking water at night and the toilet automatically refills waking me up.

I live in a area where the water is hard. The black plastic/rubber cushings in the tank are disintegrating. My daughter jokingly pushed me while sitting on the toilet seat cover replacing the valve assembly and the toilet seat crack.

A new one cost me $75CA, plus the valve, flapper, and new inlet hose. I’m going to return all of it and order a new toilet. The only reason I’m sticking with this brand is the sales representatives Keisha for Kohler responded to customer critiques.

Only because of this will I purchase my fourth Kohler toilet.

I took my Mansfield 2001 toilet off to paint behind and it flipped over and the tank cracked. I thought i would need a new toilet. I googled the 160 model and came up with this tank. It fit perfect (thanks to Mansfield sticking with one size).

What I liked most was this tank comes with all the guts. All you have to do is bolt it on (bolts included) and hook up the water. It even came with a new lid. This was a great purchase. It came in just 2 days and their packaging was ideal.

My old toilet tank cracked and I found this one on Home Essentials Direct, a match to the model number of my Mansfield toilet bowl. This seemed to be the lowest price for a matching tank and the reviews said it was easy to install.

I’m not very handy and thought I might have to call a plumber to install, but I thought I would give it a shot. It was VERY easy to install; less then 30 minutes for me, so should take you less time.

I particularly liked that it came with all the “guts” so that I would not need a separate fill valve, etc.

This was a great product. I am not a professional, but our toilet was broken and this is exactly as described. It was easy to replace and it was the perfect price for us.

Love the product, however mine came with 2 of the same tank treads for the top half of the treads made a little difficult to glue left and right tracks. But luckily enough I was able to with a little modeling make it work.

The tube worked great for our first time out with it! It’s large enough to fit teens and adults. The only problem we found were the bottom black straps leave rug burn on your knees while tubing behind a boat.

But overall great quality tube!.

I purchased two Chamption 4 Max in 2015 when I built my home. The toilet in my master bath developed a crack in the tank in 2019, which had to be replaced. The other toilet is in our guest bathroom and developed a similiar crack.

Finding out it was under warranty I called your office, explained the situation, and the customer service rep (Chris) sent me a replacement tank. I called a licensed plumber to install the new tank and upon completion and checking for leaks, he discovered a crack in the back of the tank that leaked water.

Because that was the 3rd tank that cracked, my plumber is going to buy a toilet of another brand and install it. He charged $80. 00, and of course there will be another charge when the new toilet is installed.

After 3 tanks that cracked I do not want to take chances on another American Standard toilet tank.

I thought American standard was a great product when I purchased my toilet and then I noticed a hairline crack after replacing the the tank to toilet bolts and gaskets twice and still not making a difference.

Also not satisfied that that the bowl needs to be wiped cleaned of streaks every other time the other time you flush. Now that I actually see the crack I have been searching for a different brand for several hours now.

I wish American Standard could fix this issue somehow because I have seen a lot of negative reviews on these tanks cracking after the same amount of years in service.

I have been very please with this toilet. After two years with no problems, the toilet has now developed a slow leak. We have replaced the flapper ring and the Tank O ring and it still continues to run every 20 minutes.

We have been unable to locate where it’s leaking from and our local stores (Lowes and Home Depot) do not carry any of the other parts for it. Our thought was to just place all the inside guts. Just having difficulty finding the parts.

I bought this to replace my classic optima bumpers. Shape, color, and material is very similar however the mounting point is a bit different to the classic ones. It is still possible to install by using the available 4 screw holes under the chassis, its just missing the one big bolt upfront.

A good quality kyosho product nonetheless.

Contrary to what SOME people believe, when building a good Trail Rig, with decent Crawling ability. SOFTER Springs are the way to go!! You NEED at least 1/4″ of “Droop”. It pains me to see so many “Bashers” put down an ENTIRE Company, because THEY decided to get a good Trail Rig, and RUIN its capabilities by setting up the Suspension so it will be completely TOPPED OUT, not sinking down even a Hair, when they set it on the ground.

Google “Droop in RC”, and set your Rig up RIGHT, and you will really enjoy its Performance!.

It is a Mansfield tank, but the flushing mechanism is just a regular flapper one not the tube type Mansfield used. Also, said was a chrome handle for flush, but received a white plastic one. does work as it should, just not what used to come in past kits I have received.

Getting it ready for paint is a little more involved than I expected with some scratches and minor dents and divots. But all in all I will be happy when its painted and installed!

I haven’t installed yet it’s nice it’s not coated inside and I haven’t checked with my local shop it it actually fits my 2021 iron 1200

The material is very lightweight and does a great job at allowing airflow and cooling you off while you’re active. Fries fast. Unfortunately it’s not strong at all. The seam in the back that separates the two colors (why there is a seam here IDK) detached the very first time I took the shirt off.

Gave this brand a chance. They blew it.

I was in search for a light, airy, quick-drying tank for long, hot training runs and I finally found it. I love everything about the functionality of this tank, and I get compliments every time I wear it.

I have the light aqua one but I plan to get the coral one for my fall marathon.

Beautiful running singlet, can barely feel it while running. will be great in summer

This is not an complete kit – there are a few things you’ll need to purchase separately: 1. Water Pump 2. Tubing for the water pump 3. Water Reservoir 4. “An extension cord long enough to to go from your outlet to your tank/sump” Two points on #4 1) If you’re not comfortable cutting into an extension cord you should consider something more plug and play 2) This solution adds the need for an extra electrical outlet.

Most solutions require one; this requires two Final point: if this is your first shot with one of these (and you’re not an electrical engineer) read the direction thoroughly. Then read them again. I missed one word and went off on a dead end for an hour.

The directions are perfect but every word counts. That’s it. The product is working perfectly. I’ll come back in a few months with an update.

Ive had this system on 2 separate tanks. After reading the negative reviews on all the expensive fancy ones Ill be getting this one again for my new 60 cube Trigger sump build. Had these running for years with an aqualifter pump and have never had it fail to perform exactly how its supposed to.
