20 Best Tankinis Sale Teen (2022 Updated)

What a disappointment! I gave this bathing suit one star for the color and pattern. It runs very small. I usually wear a size 4 to 6 in pants and a size 8 in tops. I wear a size 10 in most swimsuit brands- mail order most of them.

The problem is the cut on the top of this suit. The sides of the suit barely covered my bust line- very uncomfortable to get into- that was my first clue. I kept trying to pull it up- really tried to make it work- no way!.

The suit overall was beautiful. Good material and appeared to be of good quality. Unfortunately for me I had to return. Definitely not enough support in the bust area. If you’re larger busted this is not the suit for you.

Would recommend that LaBlanca consider revamping the tankini to include cups and actual cup sizes.

Love this tankini top! The print is fun and the top is so flattering. It has just the right amount of control without being uncomfortable to wear for hours. Love it!

These suits are not true to size at all! I ordered a size 8 and a 4 for my daughters to match in this summer. The size 8 not only didn’t fit my 7 year old, but it fit her 3 year old sister! (30lbs and 38” for reference) the only reason I am giving two stars is that the suits are very cute, and seem to be good quality.

Just VERY SMALL.

We love this item. buuuuut. the bottoms are way tiny. It makes me sad! I bought a size 8 and a size 2. Both of the sizes came with extremely small bottoms. My 8 year old said “Mom, I feel like you gave me sister’s bikini bottoms.

” FYI- both of my daughters are thin and narrow, so if your daughters have a booty. size UP!!.

The suit itself is very cute and made well. The only issue I have is the bottom is super small. Not size small, but cut small. There’s no way a swimming diaper will fit in that thing, much less my little girls bare bottom.

The print and colors were gorgeous. The drawstrings on the sides are a great addition and add versatility, but the tank was still shorter than I’d have preferred. The underwire was crushingly tight for me, but it would certainly stay put and cause zero wardrobe malfunctions.

I really wanted to love and keep this suit, but, sadly, I had to return it. This company is an absolute class act with their returns and exchange procedures. I will order from La Blanca again with confidence.

This is a Beautiful swimsuit. The colors are bright and vibrant and look so crisp against the black background. The fit is true-to-size in the Tankini Bandeau with the cinch side. I also purchased 2 swimsuits last year as well and they add such pretty irrestible prints to the collections.

I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend LaBlanca.

I love this suit, the color and quality are amazing but, I am very disappointed in the top rim of the suit. I first purchased this top in a 14 and along the rim of the top it did not lay flat at all so, I figured it was just too big on me.

I sent it back and ordered the 12 which actually did fit me much better but it did not solve the problem. The material along the top of the suit does not lay flat and it makes the stripe look crooked.

This bothers me a lot but I really like the suit otherwise so I am going to keep it anyway. I just feel that for the price point of the suit it should not have this problem. I hope they fix this because it is beautiful and well made otherwise.

I ordered this for a beach vacation. It arrived in time to try it on and pack it. When I tried it on, I was surprised at the flimsy feel of the breast padding and how it completely twisted in the process of pulling the suit on.

I had to do a bit of work to rearrange it but decided that was manageable. I decided to wear this suit the first day on out! I’m so glad this was a day we decided to stay on the resort and at the pool.

I felt a strap pulling loose as I left my room. I couldn’t believe it. The suit wasn’t too small – too the contrary it was slight loose in the bottom and I have a shorter torso so there should not have been any undue pressure on the straps! I was going to go back in and change but my boyfriend who had patiently straightened the straps for me when I put the suit on said, “Really? Nothing is going to fall out even if it completely breaks.

You have five more straps. ” We laughed. Well by the we returned that afternoon I only had four straps intact. One wear and two out of six straps tear away? Clearly they were not stitched very well! I expected so much more! I am going back to my local Nordstrom store with this worthless suit tomorrow.

This is too much money for a one wear swimsuit. A suit a purchased a couple of years ago at Target and wore for the first time the day after this one fell apart held up just fine… and I paid a fraction of the price for it!.

I’m 45 and um, well, have never really owned an actual swimsuit. I’m extremely self-conscious but I have kids who live to go to the pool. I finally decided to purchase a real swimsuit. The colorful pattern helps minimize certain areas, I get lots of compliments on it, and it uses quality fabric so it is snug where it should be and fits fairly well.

I will say – that the thin elastic that lines the top part of the suit and runs underneath the strapless side always flips over and it drives me nuts. I wish there was a way to make that a solid 1-2 inches to keep it in stationary position.

I find I need to adjust that flipover a lot and it is annoying. Other reviews mention a saggy bottom – After 10 wears, I did notice this – but I’ve noticed that you need to adjust the suit from the bottom up to sort of shift the fabric to its natural state (if that makes sense).

When I do that (like after using the bathroom), the suit returns to normal fit.

I am 5’2, weigh 102 lbs and usually wear size 2 or 4. I saw this suit online and loved the colors and the one piece style! I brought it online in size 4. I thought it fit a bit too snug. I went back to order a size 6 thinking maybe the size 6 would fit a bit better, But they were all sold out.

Ten days later I looked again and saw that size 6 was now available. So I ordered it to compare with the size 4. When I received it, I tried it on. I could barely get my legs into this size 6 and the bathing suit barely covered half my upper torso.

Size label said size 6 but it did not even come close to fitting. Maybe the reason why this size 6 came available is that someone else returned it due to the same problem. Disappointing poor sizing quality control on the part of LaBianca.

I am hopeful that when I return this size 6 to Nordstrom and tell them my reason for the return, they will take it out of circulation or verify its size and put the correct size label on it! I will keep my size 4.

Being plus sized and having a full chest, I struggle with finding a bathing suit that fits, isn’t ugly, and somewhat flatters my figure. I found it! If you don’t like a little cleavage the suit is not for you, I love it!.

This bathing suit top fits as described and is a great option for someone uncomfortable revealing their arms. The top is actually really cute!

So disappointed in the quality of Avenue clothing! I returned everything I bought! I used to only buy my clothes from Avenue but no longer!

Great fabric and quite flattering because of the structure and quality, but I found the underwire on the internal bra a bit too rigid. I might not have got the sizing right (I’m a new mum and nursing and it’s hard to tell).

i ordered it online and it felt comfortable when it came. After it got wet, I felt the underwire came up too high in the middle (visible from some angles) and was also quite uncomfortable in surf/when actually swimming.

Loved this tankini, the fit was perfect, no lumps or bumps. Great coverage but still shows enough boob. The length was good, with no riding up. Didn’t give 5 stars as a bit fiddley to do up, may need an extra pair of hands!!.

Beautiful tankini top. I bought the gold design since that was not a current color that I had. The fit is perfect (and I’m a large person). The 34 was true to size since that is what I buy every time from your site.

Length is perfect with skirt bottom that I purchased, I love that the tiers on the tankini top are on both the front and back and give you an attractive, even look from all sides. THIS IS SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT over other tiered style that only has tiers on the front and doesn’t look as nice from the back.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Also, the gold design is even nicer in person. NOTE: I saw that someone else wondered if the un-hemmed material would unravel; it does NOT and I’m constantly in pool water.

I also have other tops that are similar mesh material that I have been wearing for 2 or 3 summers with no sign of wear.

I am very finicky when it comes to clothing. I have to have material that not only looks good but feels good. This suit is great. It looks really good on me, I do not say that usually, its a very nice fit for a plus size gal with a large booty and hips.

Okay, and belly. It hides a lot of trouble areas yet keeps its style. The material is wonderful because it’s so flexible, lightweight, and cool. A lot of swim suits these days that I have bought, feel like they are snug fitting and like they are made from 10 layers of material.

This suit is loose but you cant tell. It dries quickly, and I know I am not supposed to but I have put it in my dryer on low heat with a towel and it dried in 10 minutes. I highly recommend.

Very cute swimsuit on my daughter. The bottom is full coverage and the bows on the sides add extra detail. The top fits well and the straps are the correct size. my daughter wears a 7 and I bought her a M 7/8.

She is in to rainbows this year and we liked that the suit has a rainbow without being fully rainbow colored.

I saw this and immediately knew I needed to buy it for my daughter. It does fit very, very snug. Size up if possible. I would have given it 5 stars if it were more true to size.

LOVE this swim top. I am 5’4, 120lbs, and a 36B, and a small fit perfectly. A great top for running around after toddlers, bending to play in the sand, and still feeling a little sexy and supported. I prefer to add the strap, which I wish connected at the center but that is hard to find.

This is the first bathing suit top I have loved since I had kids. I think I would have loved it before that too though :). Definitely a timeless piece that can be mixed and matched so easily! Also, it feels like good quality, but time and wear will tell over this summer.

I bought the deep dive teal and it’s a bit darker than the picture shows and very flattering. I am 5’4”, 158lbs with a 36DD chest and consider myself long torso (for have a short stature) and this fit beautifully in a size 10.

I usually wear a size 10 jeans but size 10/12 in suits due to my chest. This is extremely flattering on with the ruching around the waist and held up well when lounging in the pool (although I wasn’t doing laps).

I would probably still wear the strap if walking around a lot or doing a lot of swimming but this is much better than other strapless swimsuits I’ve bought, the cut fit me well and didn’t make me feel matronly.

I plan to buy a second one in a different color- maybe berry or mango.

I really love some of the suits but if the cups r too small I don’t want to be shipping back n forth. I get many suits from Venus. They r made well n the like u some of the cups r too small. Most r fine.

But every once in awhile I put on a suit n the cups r small. If a woman gets a XL there’s a reason. If I had 34 C I would be wearing an 8. No problem. Too bad after a year of food being shoved down my throat n then a year of covid licked in omg.

i didn’t realize this needed a bottom piece to go with it! but since the bottom piece is not attached it rides up. also, I was very disappointed that the solid blue portion is not as noticeable as in the picture the website displays which makes this not flattering for plus size womenmnñ returning it right away!.

Matches the Navy Basic Swim Skirt perfectly. Covers everything well and great support for an aging ample body that wants to look good at the beach or pool!

I *love* the fit of this top–it feels supportive and comfortable. The print is great, too, especially like the one that’s photographed above. My only complaint is that, on the top that I received in the mail, the fabric for the band and the fabric for the cups were the same print and matched up, if that makes sense? So it just looks a little funny to have the print repeated so close together, the two flowers stacked on top of each other.

Anyways, otherwise the top is great!.

As a mom who cares about my daughter dressing modestly, I’ve been hesitant to let her wear a bikini before now. I love this top! It feels good, the layering covers well, and I love the pattern. Just a note, I usually wear a small but they didn’t have that in stock so I got a medium. Although the band is a little loose, it fits nicely.

Lovely fit. Would have been nice to be able to get a more modest matching bottom half. Ended up buying some swim shorts elsewhere. Luckily it is black so not an issue. On third wear the underwire tried to escape do I had to a repair.

Hopefully it will hold as it is a nice top.

This is a very well made suit that fit me correctly. My husband thought the flower pattern reminded him of something his grandmother would wear. I tried to tell him that flowers are in style right now, but I ended up returning it.

Nice Tankini and really disappointment that it didn’t fit properly. Tried a couple of different sizes. Loved how it was lose around the tummy area but under the cups there was a gap even on the small size.

I found this tankini top new with tags in the garage sale area with “deodorant stains” as the return (they washed out btw). It isn’t the size I would buy if paying full price. I wear a 34D in bras and the suit top is 36C.

I could use a bit less fabric in the torso but it still fits well and stays put. I don’t like showing too much cleavage and this suit provides not complete but most coverage I have found with D sized breasts.

The idea of this Tankini is cute. It’s got great straps in the back and sides. However, I found the band too tight and it didn’t flatter my figure. Just didn’t like it enough to keep it. For reference I am 5’7, 145, and I ordered a M.

This top is incredibly comfortable, if you get the right size – plan on going a full size up as the built in bra band is super tight. I attempted to try on my regular size and couldn’t even get it on.

Once I figured that out and got the right size I wanted to wear it out of the store, it felt so good. Also, I’m happy that it’s less low cut than show on the model. I’m pretty modest and feel adequately covered, even after going up a size (no sagging fabric, etc).

Yes, the bra inserts move around when you first put the top on, but they’re easy enough to adjust once you get the hang of it, and stay in place once on.

My daughter loves this tankini top. It fit great, but, I sized up after getting shorts that were too small(and yes I measured her before ordering. ) She fell at the large end of the size 8, so we changed it for a 10.

So glad we did. My 8 year old daughter is more concerned with being comfortable than fashionable. But this checked off both boxes. She feels comfortable and likes how she looks. She wanted swim shorts but she hated the material, so we swapped it for the dark teal swim skirt which look nice.

I bought the royal blue one with the sea stars on it. My granddaughters love this style. The great thing about Land’s end is that they sell the tops and bottoms separate. Great for sizing! Also sometimes the girls want to wear the bottoms that match the top, or sometimes a totally different color like purple or pin of which Lands End sells separately.

Sizes do run small. I originally ordered a size 14 and it was too small. I returned it and ordered a size 18. I did the measurments. (I measured BUST: 44 inchs WAIST: 45 inches HIPS 45 inches) I am 5’8 amd weight 200lbs.

I carry most of my weight in my chest and stomach so those were the 2 main areas i wanted to control. I hope this information helps you as the pictures help but I noticed in many reviews it’s hard to find the size they ordered or their measurments.

So, I am sharing this in hopes this will help others. But I do HIGHLY suggest to measure yourself and order based off the measurments. Outside of that I LOVE the top! Just as pictured.

I wear a 34A/B size bra. My measurements were between a size 4 and 6. I ended up ordering a size 4 top. I love it–very flattering, very supportive, will keep everything in place, full coverage cups.

It does fit a bit snug on me if zipped all the way up, I maybe will go up a size next time, but I do like that it is so supportive/no cup gapping. I’d rather have that than too big which is almost always a problem with my small bust size.

It may stretch a bit once wet too which will make for a more comfortable fit. Overall, very very cute and stylish–can’t wait to wear it and I would recommend.

Love the high neck tops. High quality & comfy. Like the Muse & Animal prints in particular. They are not pastel colors, the colors are nice & bold. The Animal print is a nice change from the floral prints.

Wish there were more non-floral options. A burgundy option would be nice, bottoms too.

Love the print and the high neck line. However the straps are 1 continuous attachment which gets twisted and annoying to correct! Cut is a little tight I am a L/Xl (38DD) size 12 pants and the top was snug.

I had high hopes for this bathing suit but it just didn’t have the support I wanted. There was also too much side-b00b going on for me. Felt like they were going to fall right out. The bottom kept flipping in and wouldn’t stay flat for me.

One more minor thing is that I wish the back strap was adjustable. Overall would not recommend for women with bigger busts but for women with small ones- totally!! It’s a really cute top.
