20 Best Tanks For Shadowlands (2022 Updated)

I’ve had this tank for a few years now. The only thing that broke was a little plastic piece that connects the filter so its pretty loud as the water is splashing back into the back part of the tank and not into the tank itself.

The Marineland company was super nice but unfortunately the parts been out for close to 6 months now. Its super hard to clean the back tank, even for me with small hands and if you drop a piece back there, good luck! It also seems to loose water quickly, evaporation I’m sure.

I just don’t have this much of a problem with my other tanks. I bought a heater and stuck it in the back tank so it doesn’t take up space in the main. Water is pretty strong but my bettas and other fish throughout the years live through it.

Havent had a problem with fish getting stuck to the filter area. Still a lovely tank that I would recommend, especially for the price!.

I used to have a large fish tank and moved to a place where I couldn’t have it because of fragile floors. I got this tank as an alternative and lightweight option. Then when I was able to get my big tank up and running again, this one became my “hospital tank” which is why this big ol oscar is in this lil old tank lol.

It’s the perfect size and it’s right by my bed so I can keep an eye on the recovery process. The filter and lighting system that came with it are good for a cheap tank. It can get sludged up pretty quickly when a large fish is in there but it’s not terribly hard to clean.

Overall the tank is sturdy and well made. Very nice looking and easy to clean. Would be good for someone who’s a first timer with aquariums or even more experienced. Good for a hospital tank, breeding tank, fry tank etc.

First of all, I know there were reviews out there that claimed that their tank arrived cracked. Mine, however, arrived in a very strong box that was packed inside another very strong box– All intact with nary a scratch.

The unit comes complete with a filter and very cool lighting. I would have given this five stars, however, the remote for the lighting was not working because the battery was dead. Opening the latch to access the battery was difficult beyond imagination and even the guy on the YouTube video on how to change the battery on the Fluval lighting remote had a problem opening the latch to access the battery.

Once I was finally able to open the goofy latch, remove the battery, and head out to the store for a replacement battery and got the remote working, all was good. It was an ordeal though. Would I purchase this aquarium again? Absolutely.

It’s a good 15 gal tank for the money.

This is a great looking tank. The curved front is a nice modern design and the white cover and trim so much nicer than the usual black or plain glass look. Really love the lights and being able to change colours or just have the white light, all have +/- buttons to increase or decrease brightness.

The reason for four stars not five is it is quite tricky to clean given the back compartment being divided into three smaller sections. The pump is also great, would recommend a second in the spare compartment at the back to help with keeping the tank clean.

Love how these are all hidden, giving a really stylish modern look.

This is a great entry level tank for saltwater for an all in one. Things I like about it: – Easy to get started with it – The bow in the tank gives my some interesting perspectives – The light is very capable of growing softies and SPS.

– Easy modifications can be made to upgrade this tank. – Rarely have to do top offs thanks to the lid. Things I don’t love about this tank. – The filtration is basically just freshwater filtration. It’s ok to get started but long term you’ll want to upgrade.

– The light puts off enough heat to create a slight bow in the tank lid. – There is a slot to hide the heater in the back, but it’s made to fit only the Fluval heater, and if you use the protein skimmer then you are forced to use one of those slots for the heater or hang it on the glass if using a different brand.

My personal experience was that when filling my tank for the first time with about 25 gallons in it, a corner seam either broke or was already broke and spilled water all over my floor. The team at SaltwaterAquarium sent me a replacement right away and I have had no such issues with the second one.

So I just recommend giving the seams a look over before filling.

So first I will say this is an amazing tank for the price! I got it while they were having the cyber Monday sale so it was alittle less than normal but even with that being said most fish tanks I found that came with setups for a 20 gallon were around $200 if not just alittle bit less than that.

I haven’t put water in it yet because I am gathering everything I need first but if I can edit this I will let you know later. At first I didn’t think the tank was going to be in one piece when it arrived.

The box was destroyed and it wasnt sealed, the top was open. When I opened it everything was still completely in tact and looked great. It is always a stressful think having something made of glass delivered to you but luckily everything was fine for me.

I will warn you it does not come with a heater so if you are needing one you will have to buy it separately. Great tank! Thank you so much!.

This is truly the best starter kit out there. It provides you with *most* of what you need, maybe besides a heater, chemicals, substrate, live plants and supplements, but other than those few things I mentioned (and many others), it does provide you with a good amount of stuff.

A wonderful sized aquarium for CHEAP (only $99 for an awesome kit!?), a really nice filter with different compartments to help support the beneficial bacterial colony that cycles your tank and helps bring it to life and a sponge on the end to prevent accidents, and the good, bright light, suitable for medium-light live plants! However, I would greatly consider and recommend to not use the cartridges in this kit.

They’re not bad, but they’re not great. They’re decent. Aquariums as large as this should really have more than a few carbon filled cartridges. I always recommend ceramic bio-rings by Marineland or Fluval.

These provide a nice, porous surface for that Beneficial Bacteria we were talking about before (aka BB). I also like just normal sponge or “cartridge material”. Dense sponge is absolutely PERFECT for the BB colony! Planted tank gravel will provide nutrients to the water and BB, PLUS it will also be a wonderful surface for growing BB colonies.

Not to mention carbon isn’t particularly healthy for your aquarium. It takes away all of the essential nutrients that are used up for fish, plants, and other tank mates. If you use carbon too often, your tank will be “too clean” and won’t provide the necessary nutrients to keep your tank nice and healthy.

Many aquarium “pros” like myself never recommend carbon for aquariums. It’s good to use every once in awhile to remove any of that “bad stuff” in the aquarium, but use it too often, and your aquarium and inhabitants won’t thrive.

Other than these slight issues (plus me just rambling about proper fish care, as I often do), this tank is a wonderful “starter kit”. I highly recommend it over those 0. 5 gallon “Betta bowls”. And a fact for you all, did you know that the smaller the aquarium, the harder it is to maintain? The larger the tank, the easier it is to keep it clean and healthy! That’s because a smaller tank gets oversaturated with ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, which, in the right quantities, will KILL your beloved pet! This is why weekly or even daily water changes are necessary to keeping a relatively okay environment.

However, when a tank is larger (over 10 gals), water changes need to be done less, and fish can thrive in it for longer. For tanks under 20 gallons but over 10 gals, I recommend changing about 25-50% of the water weekly.

For tanks 20-30 gallons, a water change every 2 weeks or so is good. Tanks above 40 gals that are fully established with live plants can usually ensure waiting even up to 2 months until a water change! But remember, this drastically changes depending on the stock.

If it’s overstocked, the fish require more food, which, in turn, creates more waste and ammonia/nitrite buildup. However, if a 20 gallon has a single Betta and a few Shrimp, it will require much less food, much less buildup, and much less cleaning and maintenance.

Just please remember my big giant rant about aquarium care, as it really will safe your aquarium!! Good luck!.

Bought this for 2 small goldfish. It’s a great size and looks nice in my bedroom. The filters work really well. The only issue I’ve had is that it is so reflective on the sides. Probably need a background to prevent that.

But this is an awesome aquarium. Highly recommend.

I bought this tank for my horse. The original water trough was too low, which allowed dirt, debris, etc. to blow in to it. Also, it didn’t hold much water, and some of the other horses pooped in theirs.

The main reason I purchased this particular size and brand was because it has a drain plug in the lower side. This way the water can be drained easily to clean the inside. I would have preferred a tan colored tub, thinking it would reflect the heat in the summer, however the dark gray color may help to keep algae from growing because it doesn’t allow light in.

Not sure. The troughs don’t weigh much, it was easy for me to load several in to my mini van. However, when filled with water it keeps the horses from moving them around, and the sides are high enough they can’t stand in them.

I just purchased these a few weeks ago so I don’t know how they’ll hold up. They appear sturdy so they should be fine.

The tub looks better in the yard than it does in the photo, esp. if you turn the logo away. I use it for cold baths in the morning, the capacity is just right for a full, comfortable immersion even by a tall person.

The plastic is strong, so far no cracking issues. I will eventually set it on a permanent surface and give it a wood surround and a lid. The plan is to get another, and have a heated hot tub with the ice tub right next to it.

Yes, immersion heaters safe for this level of plastic do exist. A large fish tank circulation filter pump with a fountain feature keeps the mosquitoes away (cheaper than pond pumps and more appropriate for the volume.

) Would recommend, will buy again.

I love these, excellent for shorter animals. I have several of this type of tank for my goats, mini pigs, dogs and other animals. It’s deep enough the water doesn’t usually get very warm – even in the sun – and dogs and birds can get in a take a dip.

They last forever even with mediocre care. The only thing is this style doesn’t have the drain plug in the bottom. Most of the time my tanks are so full of silt that I normally just dump them rather than drain them but if you’re looking for the drain spout, you’ll either have to create it yourself or find another version.

This tank is perfect for not only boating fun but as a means to have extra gas for your vehicles, lawn mowers, ATVs, etc. I like that it is the traditional “red” color for portable gas tanks and the size is great as well.

Being able to have an extra 12 gallons of fuel around is a huge bonus whether on the water or at home. The top is easy to screw off and it is attached so you don’t have to worry about putting it down and losing it.

I’m also loving the gauge. This is great because there is no guess work on my part and I will always be able to know how much fuel is in the tank without having to shake it and estimate what’s in it.

Furthermore, the gauge is located in the ideal spot near the cap. I can add gas and see the space I have for more. I also haven’t had any issues as far as leaks. Everything has been fairly sound and secure even on the water.

My only issue is the portability. There could be a better way to actual carry this. Like some handles on the sides or indentations would have made this easier to carry. There is an area on the bottom but I feel like not everyone may want to carry this that way so another more accessible option would have been great.

In the end, I do like it. I think it is designed well, has a heavy duty and sturdy build, and hasn’t leaked thus far. I definitely think this is a great way to house fuel for both your water and land vehicles.

This 12 gallon rectangular portable marine tank is really nice. It seems to be a well made rugged design. It holds a lot of gas, but isn’t huge. I have a rare, for lack of better description, prehistoric jet ski.

It is from the early 80’s it looks similar to an old jet ski, but has a steering wheel and a 40 horse outboard motor. It seats 3 people and the gas tank is stored under the seating area. The company that made these personal watercraft boats, had a huge warehouse fire and long story short, after just a few years, they went out of business.

Original parts for this are just not available and our old tank was a old one that needed updating. This new tank works out perfectly. It stores under the seat nice and snug, it looks like it was made for this boat.

I think I will just keep it in the boat and fill up at the pump rather than taking it out all the time, but it is nice to know if I want to, I can. Everything was very easy to hook up. The 2 way vented cap is a nice feature and the fuel sight gage is super helpful.

“Vent” is a vacuum breaker or check valve, preventing drawing a vacuum on the tank. That works well to prevent your engine from being starved for fuel after running a while. However, in hot weather the tank does not vent, but swells up like a balloon.

No wonder so many reviews discuss leaks! In my case the tank swelled up so much it got stuck under the deck and could not be moved. Solved the problem by removing the brown rubber part (see photo) from under the cap.

Now it vents, preventing both overpressure and vacuum. Of course it will leak if the tank is over-filled and the vent left open. Otherwise it is a good tank.

These tank came with my Kohler rear exit toilets. I had been looking for rear (wall) exit toilets for about a year as my two 30+ year old original models were seriously outdated. One of them also had a ominous crack in the tank that could probably break any day.

It’s hard to find these rear exit models as the box stores don’t carry them at all. And it’s also harder to find colors other than white. I needed Almond color. Build. com saved the day by not only having them in stock but also had a great sale going on at the time I needed them.

This toilet/tank set exceeded my expectation. Beautiful almond color porcelain and an updated tank with the pressurized capsule inside (no water against the porcelain). It matched perfectly with my baths.

The flushing technology is great and I no longer have to flush multiple times and save on water usage. It was easy to install but I admit, I am mechanically inclined. I think most people can figure it out if they are replacing their existing toilet.

All the mounting holes lined up spot on as they are standard. I wasn’t familiar with the pressurized tank, but I didn’t have to make any adjustments and it worked right out the box. Make sure to follow the directions and remove the rubber shipping washers.

That may confuse first time installers as they look like they belong. Last note on installing the tank, make sure it is level and the mounting bolts are tight enough. I’m overly cautious when it comes to lighting down on porcelain.

Definitely be careful but keep in mind you have to tighten it enough to get a good seal between the tank and the bowl. Or else when you flush, some tank water will trickle out the tank because it is under pressure.

On one of my toilets, it took me carefully tightening down over three days to get it right (LOL). My only wish is that I could have a choice of sides the flush level is on as I was uses to having it on the other side.

It’s not worth taking a star off for that as you eventually get use to it being on the new side. This toilet/tank set is beautiful and functional and I highly recommend.

I needed to replace/upgrade 3 toilets in my home at the same time. I put the Kohler K4645 in my high use master bath, and a competitor’s brand in the lesser used guest bath, and powder room. I wish I had made the extra investment and purchased K4645s for all 3 bathrooms.

The K4645 large water surface is superior and the power flush is excellent. The water recovery time inside the “flush-mate” system is also amazing. These features have noticeably reduced the amount of time I spend cleaning the bowl.

I’d absolutely recommend this toilet to anyone. I had it installed in Dec. 2016 and it’s just as efficient as day one. Though it’s spendier, it’s well worth it IMO. You do pay for what you get, but you really get what you paid for with this one.

I love my Commando slips for their perfect weight — not a compressing shaper, but still heavy enough to create a smooth line under garments, so comfortable! I thought this tank would be essentially my slips-as-a-tank, but noooo.

This fabric is super thin, to the point of feeling cheap and flimsy. An outrageous $58 price point for a piece that feels like an Amazon outtake. I kept it because I needed it for a particular outfit and didn’t have time to explore other brands, but this item definitely will have me searching elsewhere for my next foundation-layer tank!.

I compared this Commando Whisper Tank with Halogen No Show camisole. They looked like similar products online, and they looked similar in person in terms of fabric. After trying them both under a very lightweight and slightly too-sheer knit top, this Commando Tank won by a landslide.

It is more intelligently designed for my purposes. I ordered both in the smallest size (size S), because I typically wear size XS in tops (size 32B bra, 5’2″ 107 lbs). The Halogen No Show camisole fit me with a slight cling, while this Commando Tank is body skimming but with no cling, slightly loose.

I thought that the relative looseness would look baggy as a layer, but the opposite is true–the effect is sleek so that no lumps or bumps show through, plus the plain tank straps smooth over my bra straps.

In comparison, the cling of the Halogen camisole seemed to emphasize bulges, and the thin adjustable camisole straps multiplied the bra strap effect. I love how the Commando Tank does not have a hemmed bottom, so that it doesn’t show through when tucked into dressy trousers.

The fabric is thin enough not to add bulk and sleek enough so that other layers do not cling. It seems well-made.

This tank is unlike any other undergarment that I have ever owned. It is so lightweight, but it is perfect for layering under sheer or white tops that would otherwise show your bra straps or camisole.

It really does allow your shirts to hang smoothly. It is also the perfect length; it isn’t hanging out at the bottom, yet it is long enough to stay tucked in if you need it to. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that you really can’t wear it with low cut or tight tops.

The neckline is too high to wear with a lot of the v-necks that I generally wear, and because it is not shapewear, it does hang a little loose. However, Commando does offer the control v-tank, so I will use this more underneath shirts like a classic white button-down.

The kit looks pretty nice if you want to set it up as a goldfish / betta tank. It doesnt work very well as a saltwater kit. There’s 2 major flaws with this setup. 1: there is no good spot to put a heater in the back compartments if you use a protein skimmer.

The compartment with the pump has fluctuating water levels so it’s not stable enough for a heater. The second issue is the LED lamp runs very hot, so it overheats the entire aquarium. On an average day my temperatures fluctuate back and forth by about 3 degrees because of the light, which stresses the fish out.

Recently purchased an Aqueon 14 when Petco was running a 50% off deal. Thought it was too good to be true. After reading all the horrible reviews on it, I returned it with no issues. The Fluval Evo 13.

5 came highly recommended for beginners in reefing. After applying all the available discounts, I picked up in store and got the kit for around $135. Amazing deal for a $200 AIO kit that comes with everything you need to get started except for a heater, sand and live rock.

Very pleased with this purchase.

I wanted to love this tank or at least like it. The black “hex” pattern at the top and in the filtration area is cool. That is where “cool” ends. The light is trash. You get to choose from blinding white or barney purple.

The purple – which they call blue is too dim to grow coral and you can really not enjoy the fish. Let’s talk filtration. no filter sock. They would rather promote the fits chamber for a skimmer, which is really wasted in a tank this small with regular water changes.

They opted for a sponge nitrate factory instead of a media basket. That is just nasty. Those itty bitty bags with “biomedia” and carbon are laughable. You’d get your biological filtration from your live rock anyway.

If I calculate everything that I will need to upgrade to want to keep this tank, it becomes cheaper to just return it and get a tank of higher quality. I still love my Fluval Chi but this Evo is a big nope from me.

Still in the process of setting this up. Very well made and sealed. My only difficulty was with the glue attached to the bottom of the aquarium and the lower portion of the box. It took me hours just to get it free, and the glue removed.

In the end, I had to soak it in cold water overnight to loosen and remove the remainder of the glue. I can understand the to company wanting to protect the glass in shipment, but one glob would be sufficient.

Over all, I’m extremely happy with this product!.

This is a very sharp looking tank; all strong glass, bent curves and just about as open as anyone could ask for. And it looks great! Excitedly, I waited for it, and once it arrived and the cycle completed, I moved my betta into it.

At first, the fish just kind of looked around and swam a bit. As time went on, though, he became more and more jumpy. The water parameters were fine. But for whatever reason, he did not care for this tank.

Maybe he sees his reflection? I do not know. A couple months later, I moved him out of this tank into a more standard, run-of-the-mill tank and he is much happier. Later, I purchased another betta for this tank.

He, too, just continually glass surfs and seems rather anxious. Again, I moved him from this tank into a general, generic tank and he likes it much better. As for the filter– even on it’s weakest setting, it still is way, way too powerful for a betta.

the output blows them around like a snowflake during a blizzard. I ended up buffering it with a sponge AND plants in order to have it be calmer. The suction cups that hold the filter on the wall also continually come off.

The light really is too weak for anything at all, not even low light plants. At best, it will light up half the tank.

This glass frame-less tank is clear and beautiful with smooth corners for unobstructed viewing. Comes with a clear plastic cover, which is kind of flimsy but fine for now. I do like the mat that came with the glass to keep it from sliding.

The light is nice and bright, although I wish it had a on/off button instead of having to unplug it every night. The filter is great but a bit too strong a current for my fish. However, the tank itself is worth the money all by itself.

Very happy with this 5 gallon glass tank for my Betta, shrimp and snails and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good quality smaller tank. Thanks.

Nice 110 gallon thick plastic trough. I can pick this up empty, and although it’s a little bulky, able to put in the back of the truck and move around quite easily once I got it home. The height and length are appropriate for what it is – though I did place mine on an elevation which serves my purposes a bit better.

I like that the drain plug is copper and is accessible from the outside (vs putting your hand in possibly a gross mess on the inside). The thickness of the plastic appears to be a good amount. I am inclined to make this purchase again as the price is very affordable.

I got this 6 gallon Neptune Portable Marine Tank for my husband and father in law so they could have an extra fuel tank for their boat. My father in law is really happy with it. He loves how convenient and easy to carry it is, thanks to the handle on the top of the tank.

He did need to get the right connector for it, but it was easy to find for under ten bucks at the local hardware store, along with the necessary tape for the fitting to prevent any leaking. The two-way vented cap allows the pressure in the tank to be released after it reaches 5 psi, and that is the only complaint either one has with this tank.

They would prefer it vented more so that the tank wouldn’t swell, but this new cap complies with new EPA regulations and is totally safe. My husband and his dad have both been enjoying the quality time they get to spend together fishing, and this tank lets them stay out longer.

It’s easy to use and fairly easy to connect, and the six gallons of fuel isn’t too heavy to carry, especially with the convenient handle. They both recommend it!.

We love going out on the rivers here in my sons boat. Since we usually have a full crew, we always try and carry extra fuels with us. Having had a problem finding a good, sturdy container that can carry fuels, but is also not prone to getting corroded or rusts.

After much research, including talking with fellow boaters, we settled on Scepter. We found them tough and very easy to stow. We have never experienced any leakages from seams or in the nozzle area. We slide our tanks under a special seating area.

They fit perfectly. No one wants to be caught out on the water and have no fuel. Our whole family relies on Scepter tanks. They exceed industry standards in both performance and build. Give them a try.

Just what the doctor ordered. Just moved up to Ohio from Florida with goats and alpacas. My 5 gallon water buckets froze and cracked as I tried to break the ice. These rubber tanks hold up to the ice cracking, not to mention a larger volume of water doesn’t freeze as quickly.

Great product. Will definitely purchase more of these as the need arises.

These troughs are the best, light weight even with water they are light enough to dump with out having to use a bucket. They do get green slimy stuff in them when sitting in the sun but they’re easy enough to clean.

The horses drink out of them with no issues.

Great little tank setup. Plenty of lighting for a wide variety of plants if you prefer planted tanks. The cover IS plastic, but seems pretty sturdy. However, if you plan to run CO2, you’ll need a very small diffuser to stash in the back with the filtration.

The plastic cover is notched at that end, but nowhere else, so it’s the only practical place you’ll be able to use. Plan for a very VERY small heater to have to fit back there as well. The only real downside is the flow.

Even set to the lowest setting, this pump is going to be too much if you have plans for a betta with long fins or similar types like dumbo guppies, etc. Also, the outflow head doesn’t really seat well, so you have a gap there and will probably want to use a bit of silicone to seal it in place if that is a problem for you.

I plan to alter our filter setup in the future as well. The included filter is interesting, but not really the best that can be done. However, it is easy to make filter adjustments in a tank setup like this, so not really an issue.

If you’re neurotic about cleaning that area, just don’t. Find another tank. You’ll do nothing but complain about the lack of reasonable space to clean the back area. I don’t care about that, but have seen plenty of people complaining about it.

Overall, the setup was well worth what was paid for it and is growing plants quickly already.

Likes – I love the long, narrowness of the tank, especially for Betta’s. Easy set-up. The light gives good coverage across the entire tank. Dislikes – I don’t like the cheap top cover & that it has such a large hole, that any fish could jump out of.

It would be nice if they also offered a mesh tank cover. The motor pump & supposedly enough room for a heater compartment, it really too small. For, if you do not use a Fluval heater & use another one, there is not enough room in the compartment for both, plus the lightweight plastic extension hose, makes me concerned that if it got too hot from the heater, right next to it, would the hose burn up?? I don’t like that the nozzle is so high up in the tank, it really needs to be lowered, especially for a Betta who frequents the top, obtaining air.

It would then allow for the water level to be lower & more desirable for a Betta. I also don’t like the return vents on the filter compartment, again they are too high & you have to keep the water level incredibly high for it to work effectively.

I also don’t like how the light is positioned & mounted for cleaning a tank. I have only had to do 1 water change so far & in order for that to happen, you have to remove the light in order to get into the tank.

Maybe a swivel arm, where you could swing it out a bit, but still have light to see inside your tank. Or, maybe a folder light fixture, so you can get into the tank. A new design is much needed. I haven’t had my tank long enough to know just how effective the filtration system will be, but time will tell & I will try to remember to give an update.

I’ve been using this tank for over a year now. It has housed two healthy male guppies during this time. Pros: Attractive tank; filter is in it’s own compartment which protects fish; other than the filter, tank is easy to clean; filter media easy to maintain.

Cons: Filter is difficult to access. Difficulty with access is due to the filter being kept in a narrow compartment. One of the bottom suction cups holding the filter in place came off during the last cleaning.

It was stuck on the bottom of the tank and I spent a frustrating time attempting to retrieve it. Eventually I was successful. The tubing of the circulation pump is easy to remove but the impeller and impeller well is very difficult to take apart.

The end of the output pump is extremely difficult to snap on and off. Due to the negatives with the filter, I will not purchase a tank like this one again.

First and foremost, the dimensions on this tank listed here are incorrect. The actual exterior (outside) tank measurements of a 20 gal “long” is 30 x 12. 5 x 12. 5. I just measured it precisely, So let’s clear that up straight away.

Secondly, this is probably the least amount that I’ve paid for this size tank pretty much ever, so take that into consideration as well as you read further. It held water! I filled it half way and left it sit for a week on newspaper checking for exterior moisture every day.

None to find after a week’s time. So that’s the good news. Now the reason for the 3 stars, I’d probably give it 3. 5 if there was such a thing, but not 4. Aesthetically, it is poorly made. There is silicon on the glass all over the place.

I’ll explain; when the 5 pieces of glass are put together no care was taken to make sure that the silicon was ONLY in the places needed to construct the “box”. Instead it is clear that it was basically just “slopped” in there, it’s even on the OUTSIDE of the glass in places, this means that in order to have a clear “nice looking” tank, you’ll need a razor blade and a few hours of your time BEFORE you use this tank in order to clean and cut away all of the “over spill” of silicon both inside and outside at the edges.

If you don’t, when you turn on your lights and sit back to enjoy your creation, you will see the excess silicone in your window (it glares against the lights and makes it look “dirty”), on the corners, edges, wherever you didn’t get rid if it.

So take this into consideration when purchasing. If you intend to do any kind of “Aquascaping”, or want this as any kind of “display” tank, I would recommend a different brand. If this is just a “breeder” or a kids tank or you don’t mind cleaning up after the rush job that the factory just slammed together, then for the price, these are great.

They do come with a warranty, so if you get a “leaker” just take it back and Petco will get you a new one.

Looked at all the negative reviews on petco website, but decided to purchase anyway. So, I wanted to leave my own review in hopes of helping other potential buyers. -Caulking is a bit of a mess, as many stated in reviews the caulk job is subpar to say the least.

I looked at 7-8 different tanks in the petco store before selecting the least offensive caulk job. -These tanks are not the same tanks being sold in “higher end aquatic stores, visited the local fish store after purchase to get some ideas on set up and check out what they sold, and to my surprise the Aqueon tanks in the fish store seemed to be of much higher quality, in that the caulking looked better, the frames seemed more rigid, and they even had somewhat of a cardboard box.

Seems Aqueon, like many other manufacturers build products based on the store their going to. ps a John Deer mower from Lowe’s Hardware isn’t a “real John deer mower”, and it seems Aqueon has taken this approach in building tanks.

-The size of this tank is awesome, I prefer longer tanks with lowers sides, just a personal preference but also beneficial in some of the fish I keep that like to move across the tank and not so much vertical swimming.

-It’s holding water this far, some had mentioned leaks, I am currently doing a “leak test” on concrete floor in basement so I don’t ruin hardwoods in the main living areas should it spring a leak. I’ll let the water remain for a couple more weeks before inspecting caulk seams and moving upstairs to the main living area.

-The price is very fair, as stated, I visited the local fish store and some other tanks of similar size were double to 5x’s greater in costs. -it’s hard to find a good fitting top, I plan to have one custom cut at the local hardware store to fit my needs.

-To sum it up, if your expecting a very high end tank for $100. 00, you need to rethink things. I will say, you are getting what you pay for with this tank. It’s a decent tank for $100. 00. As long as it continues to hold water and doesn’t spring a leak with my Endler’s, I’ll be happy.

I do wish the caulk jobs were done with a little more accuracy and care.

I ordered this for pick up in store. I picked up the tank before picking up kids from school while my 4 year old was with me. In 111 degree weather. Where am i getting with this?. well after finally getting home and getting to cool off for a bit i decided to clean the tank.

And thats when i noticed how horribly the silicone was done. but thats not the worst part. The worst part was scraping my fingers along SMALL SHARDS OF BROKEN GLASS because it looked just the same as all the silicone! With the tank in the sink I blasted with water.

Nope didn’t do the trick. I had to use damp paper towel and my fingers to make sure all shards were gone. Normally I would’ve returned but again we have 111 degree heat and with running kids around all day and petco not being exactly close to us I’m dealing with it.

I’m using it as a terrarium. I wouldn’t trust is as an aquarium because of how badly the silicone was done. I’m just utterly shocked that the store gave me a tank with broken glass. Should be a $5 tank because of quality.

Reviews of the LED on this Koller Panaview from Amazon and other review sites state the LED lights will burn out due to the condensation. Mine burned out within 3 months. Been 6 months and still unable to rectify.

The clear shield protector that covers the LED strip isn’t sealed properly. The condensation will work its way up to the push button switch that is mounted on top of the tank. I won’t modify the tank lights to another system because I don’t want any electrical problems due to water condensation and electricity do not mix.

So far, I cannot locate the tank lid separately with the upgraded LED fix yet. I have read its out there but no luck yet.

Got this tank for my male Betta and he loves it. At first I thought the filter jets might make too strong of a current for him to comfortably swim in, but it comes with a snap on diverter that helps mix in more air and soften the water flow.

The LEDs are nice and bright with many options, but it’s a little annoying clicking through the sequence to get to the one you want. Also, the panoramic view is nice, but there are blind spots when viewing from certain angles.

However, the shape does make cleaning and maintenance much easier. My lid is a little wobbly, but nothing that affects it’s functionality. All-in-all an easy and quick setup that let me focus on the aquascaping for my Betta.

Its a nice clear , cute tank for starters. It has all or most of what you need except a heater. Only one small issue was the power cord receptical was not lined up and lose in hood so trying to plug connecter together had to be played with to connect it.

Minor for me but someone else , not sure. Suggestion. To find the little hole to plug in could of been labeled or made a different color so you could find it easier , other wise you will have to look close for it.

This is soooo frustrating! I have ordered at least fifteen (15) Athleta tops and 7/8 leggings over the last 6 months. Unfortunately, all the colors which appear to be “bright” on the website are actually on the dull side in person.

It has happened with the pinks, reds and blues in particular – meaning all the “fun” colors. I ordered this top in cottage blue expecting it to be a brighter blue as appears on the website; but when it arrived today, I was disappointed to see that it’s more of a slate blue (akin to a boring gray).

There’s absolutely no “pop” of color. [Similarly, the color which appears to be cotton candy pink on the website is more a rose pink color in person. ] Athleta needs to do a better job of adding saturated colors and depicting the actual colors of their clothing more accurately on the website.

I love the quality of the workout wear; I have 14 pair of Athleta 7/8 leggings and 15 tops. But I get so bored of the conventional navy, black, gray, etc. I want to be able to mix and match by adding pops of color to the basic colors.

Athleta needs to do a better job with COLOR!!!! I’ll be making yet another return to Athleta. Had the website accurately depicted the cottage blue color, I never would have ordered this top or the leggings in the same color.

In the attached photo, I’ve placed a beautiful blue scarf next to the Athleta top. Note how flat the color of the top is. It looks NOTHING like the brighter blue depicted on the website.

I love this tank. It’s comfortable to wear alone for warm weather workouts, but my favorite way to wear it is as a baselayer in the winter. I get cold easily and have been looking for a good layer to wear underneath my tops that isn’t bulky.

This is perfect – the fit is trim, and the wool blend keeps me toasty warm even with the mesh back. The fabric is soft, I don’t find it itchy at all. I’ve been line-drying the top. I have this in multiple colors, and I also have the longsleeve version which is also amazing.

I wish they would offer the tank in a v-neck version as well (only because it would layer easier as the neckline is higher and sticks out of the neckline of the tops I wear over this one. Also wish it came in brighter or darker colors, as most of these colors make me look really washed out.

For reference I am 5’4, 138, A-cup, athletic build and I have this top in both S (more fitted but still plenty comfy) and M (comfy without being too loose).

I have been ordering bits and pieces of these guys for years and up until a month ago i seen the docco on you tube about the company. Awesome tank comes with mounting tabs and gas cap. It would be nice if it came with plugs so when you seal tank your good to go!!!

When I saw this shirt I knew it was for me. I’m tall girl with arm tattoos. I placed an online order for the Baked Clay color in a size small and it’s very flattering against my skin. You gotta know what’s best for your body.

Like the other comments say this shirt is boxy, but I like that. I wish It was little longer because I’m tall but it still works. It’s super comfy and very soft. I’m gonna say it’s my new favorite spring/summer shirt.

You can probably wear it to workout, but I just want to lounge in it. The arms are not sewn, so it has that cut off look but that’s cool with me.

Super soft, of course. Interesting shape / fit. Accidentally threw it in the dryer (I always hang dry my clothes but this was accidentally left in the washer when I threw in a load of towels). After a drying session, the collar is all “bunchie” now but its a cool look, I’ll take it.

I love love the soft fabric of this tank and the easy throw-on style, and I’ve learned to like the roomy size, but it’s not quite what I expected when I ordered it. I ordered size S, I’m 5’4″ petite build with 34B chest, and I definitely think I could’ve ordered size XS, but I’ve kept the one I purchased and I can still pair it with lots of things in my closet.

The arm holes are the roomiest part, but that often means a nice breeze comes through! And I do absolutely LOVE the soft fabric, it washes well, and the black is more like a dark dark grey which I love love.

The tank is still totally worth it, just be ready for it to be a bit roomy, especially if you are similarly sized to me.

I love this top so much. I own multiple versions so I never have to workout without it. It is perfect for all workout types. It’s super flattering nipping in at the waist and flaring out around the hips.

I love that it stays put when doing activities like yoga and doesn’t bunch up around my face in downward dog or other inverted positions. You cannot go wrong with this top.

The fabric is amazing, super soft but stays where it should so no riding up no matter how many burpees you do. Worth every penny. I don’t like tops super tight so I went for a medium so I had a little more room and it’s perfect.

I’m normally a size uk 10/12.

Marine colour is stunning. Tank matches my 8/8 limitless tights perfectly. Flattering cut is close fitting without being at all tight. The fabric is super comfy and lovely and soft with just the right amount of stretch.
