20 Best Tanning Bed Bulbs (2022 Updated)

These are genuine professional quality Super HPS with full red and blue spectrum. I haven’t found a better Sodium bulb yet. I won’t use anything but these! They are so worth the $100 cost! My plants are so thick and lush when grown under these!.

I have had 4 of these for about 3 years now. I replaced them thinking maybe I could get a little more yeild. The brand new ones did not perform any better than my 3 year old ones so these do last a long time.

I did have one bulb go out after about 2 years but that’s because our power goes out a lot.

I have tried multiple different brands and has out preformed all of them. Pro-plus is a must. Love my DE lights.

We have many recessed can-lights in our building that use these. They work well and have a long life, what more do you want from a light bulb?

Just moved to a new home and stumbled across 1000bulbs. com while looking for light bulbs. So glad I did! I was able to get bulbs for the whole house without the hassle of searching the lighting aisle at the local store.

The bulbs are great but thought I was ordering the GU10 the smaller bulb of this type instead of what I got. So it looks like I will have to purchase one of your light boxes. I don’t know what to think about your lamps because I had seen a couple of less than favorable reviews.

I went to a local lighting store to see if I could buy a light fixture that would match the bulbs and the lady working there said they sent all of those GU type fixtures to the dump because nobody was purchasing those kind of lamps and they could better use the floor space.

I had purchased the screw in bulbs before but didn’t see those for sale on your web site.

Although I still use the Brookefield floor lamp with the original bulb purchased mid 2000’s for peace of mind I bought a replacement bulb. I couldn’t be a day without this lamp for crafting and reading.

I have a “happy light” that I use every morning with my breakfast when it’s a cloudy day. I believe it’s made a difference for me. A couple of weeks ago, my rambunctious kitties knocked it off the breakfast table and I thought I would have to replace the whole unit.

But just unscrewing the top screws revealed that it just needed the right size CFL. It arrived yesterday and, although it’s very sunny now, it was easy to install the bulb and it works just fine. Thank you for you quality service.

The Sun filled bulb brightness is 850 lumens and outs off a gentle blue toned light. It is not a warm colored amber light and it is not a bright light, like I thought it would be, when I think of natural sunlight.

I don’t see where this blueish hued bulb is that bright. I am confused how a blue hue bulb is suppose to mimic sunlight. It could be maybe that it is the lamp that I used it in or just because I have other lights on as well with different shade bulbs.

The bulb is supposed to last 3 years rated on life of 3 hours usage a day. It is overall a nice bulb, but I would either need to replace all bulbs in my other lamps to match it or just use that one lamp.

This bulb doesn’t feel like a natural sunlight color to me. I personally prefer a warmer light bulb hue, whereas this one puts off more of a cool blue lightbulb.

To help alleviate those early spring gloomy days, I picked up this light to help with my mood and offer some level of lighting to trick the brain. Its helped! I would recommend this now for any space where it may seem a little dark or need that extra boost of natural daylight.

The light is not harsh or cold, but offers truly a bright sunny day feeling. I think a few more would be helpful to balance out my room, as they do stick out when used in isolation – for example 2 lamps would be even better for a normal sized room.

So far the lifespan has been great, I’ve had no issues with it turning on / or any stutters or flickering. It has been a solid performer. I’ve not tried dimming it, so cannot speak to that. So far, i love it and it gets after those cloudy blues!.

I received the GE Sun Filled Soft White 65W LED Floodlight BR30 Light bulb through the TryIt Sampling Community and am very pleased with the results. I would never had selected this type of build for use at my home; sounds like the name is just a new way to present the same old product.

But, it is actually different. We have lots of these light bulbs throughout our house filled with warm white bulbs. As they burn out, we will be replacing them with the GE Sun Filled soft whites. The light is brighter without being the blind that LEDs can present.

More natural in lighting appearance. Truly like this bulb. Would highly recommend!.

The bulb initially worked fine. Once I turned off the light, it never worked again. When the maintenance person came to remove it from the light fixture, which I was unable to reach, he advised me it was a bad bulb.

Cracked at the base as he was removing same. Did not wish to send broken glass in the mail so did not request a refund. An expensive loss!.

I have used full spectrum incandescent light bulbs for over 20 years in my home. My recent favorite brand for these light bulbs is Chromalux. Thank you, Lucky Vitamin, for carrying these bulbs!! They are long-lasting and provide a pinkish light – making a very warm and cozy environment! Full spectrum light bulbs are also helpful for Seasonal Affective Disorder.

so far these are working well in a dimmable torchiere lamp; they usually last about a year, so I bought a set of 5. I would prefer to have LED at this point, but a new lamp isnt worth the cost.

Fantastic and beautiful light bulb! I bought several new bulbs when we remodeled our house with an antique farmhouse/industrial look. I had purchased some really neat vintage lamps, but didn’t want to put just regular boring bulbs in them.

So this is one of the bulbs I got – and I LOVE it! Of all the bulbs I bought, this is one of my favorites. It is not very bright, but it’s just beautiful! These are usually used in overhead fixtures, but I love it in my table top lamp.

These light bulbs are gorgeous, I’m so glad I found this site. They look amazing in my light fixtures and really give that extra glamour I needed. They seem well made I think I’m going to order a few extra as replacements for the future just encase but I hope they never discontinue them because they are absolutely beautiful.

My ott light is very old and I couldn’t find a replacement bulb that wasn’t very overpriced. I looked for quite a while off and on and finally found one at a reasonable price. I’m back in business with my old light that shines like new!!.

Ok, my bad for not knowing OttLite has at least 2 types of 13w Tube Bulbs. The one I bought looks just like the one that went out. But further reading, I should have bought the one that says Type E, or E in a circle at the top of the merchandise packaging.

Also you can determine which one you need by removing the one in your Lite and turning looking at the bottom with the OttLite 13W (E). None of the descriptions on the Joann site spell this out. Please add to the description either Type A or Type E.

As I get older I need more light. These really aren’t bright enough for me unless there are other sources of light, like during the day. They are expensive for not being very bright. I have an older ott light lamp with the magnifying glass, which I use a lot.

I bought this to replace the bulb. Glad they still make them, but wish ott would come up with something brighter for these lamps.

Regretfully only two of the bulbs I ordered fit my appliance, One of the three that were bad had a unsecure end cap which I did not try to install because the end cap would have twisted off completely maybe damaging the appliance.

However the company honored the problem and refunded part of my order accordingly. Thank you for that. The company is good, The product which they cannot control was iffy.

I ordered (6) of these for the (3) 8ft fixtures in my garage. they are excellent! It looks like daylight when I am out there working on motorcycles, snow blowers…etc., even when it is dark outside!!

Fits in my bathroom ventilator. Only this bulb fits. They do not last as long as I think they should, but the lamps are on 24/7 so I guess they rack up the hours fast. Dims a little bit before dying.

The lamp is easy to replace, but hard to get to. Good little bulb. Plenty bright for the application. Haven’t found a suitable (dimensionally similar) LED to replace it. Glad they are still available.

This is an oddball kind of bulb for unusual applications. The bulbs are designed for minimal overall length. I’d suggest measuring the maximum length you can fit inside your device, and buy the largest bulb that will fit, regardless of what suggested wattage is recommended.

Come on, these bulbs don’t give off hardly any heat, and none of them uses heavy amounts of electricity. However, a slightly longer bulb of the same design will give off quite a lot more light. Also, the warm white yellow color range appears brighter than the daylight blue color range.

If I had to buy another one, I’d hunt down the brightest bulb I could find that would fit. Hopefully, all the bulbs like this have a listed base to top of bulb length, so customer can figure it out. This is not a criticism of this particular bulb, which works fine.

Works very well as a cost-effective replacement for standard A19 bulbs in our indoor lights — the mini spiral means it’s not as tall as the usual CFL bulbs and can fit under most lampshades and fixtures properly.

One thing to note is that these bulbs when turned on will start at around half brightness, then grows to their maximum brightness over a couple minutes. I chose the 4100K bulbs to replicate an “indirect daylight” level of white lighting for our dark [first floor] apartment.

Have had them for 8 months so far and they’ve worked great. Nice level of white light, good for reading, watching TV, etc.

I bought 24 because I thought they looked just like what I wanted, and they were!! Have them up in my BATHROOM they look GREAT. Could never find these anywhere else they are clear bulbs,can’t stand frosted, or the new energy efficient bulbs,if I happen to look at them head on they make me nauseous, so as long as I can buy these I’m good.

I bought this bulb for my GE oven. The factory supplied bulb in the new oven failed within 2 months. The Home Depot replacement bulb failed in about the same amount of time. After researching a few websites someone suggested trying a 130V bulb.

I have received my bulbs and so far so good. Installed time is about 2 weeks so maybe a little to soon to tell. Light output is good.

What can be said about a lightbulb. What’s important is the great customer service and speedy delivery. I always buy from 1000 bulbs. They have it all when it comes to lighting.

We purchased this to light our back yard. The wife and father-in-law built out a 1,200 sq ft deck in the back corner of our yard. We string the lights from the back of the house, up a flight of 40 stairs and around the perimeter of the deck.

We trimmed the string to fit which resulted in almost 100 light sockets. Then we outfitted the string with 25 watt bulbs and a WeMo light switch so we could control it from a smart phone. Works great and provides plenty of light for the stairs and deck in the back yard.

Arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. They function properly. I was hoping to get a frosted back with a clear lens as shown in the website picture. These have both a frosted back and frosted lens.

They are better than any of the other replacement bulbs I tried, but I will continue my search for a frosted back and clear lens bulb to match the original bulbs that came with my light fixture.

I have a dust to dawn circuit of 30 or so lights around our property and having those lights on gives us great security – at the same expense as burning 3 60 watt porch lights. And they seem to last forever – I am averaging 2-1/2 to 3 years life on the bulbs.

I purchased these lights as an add-on to a light fixture that was my main purchase. When they arrived and upon installation I found out they were not dimmable. No where on the online description did it indicate they were dimmable.

When I looked at the physical box did it clear print not dimmable. Had I had know these are not dimmable I would have not purchase. These are not refundable, bummer 🙁 For anyone who is looking for dimmable bulbs look elsewhere.

Got the bulbs fast n safe so that was awesome but the lights them selves are dim as heck n I know cause I got 4 other ones next to these 2 n there way brighter its like these where used but o well good price it is what it is.

This bulb looks lovely ‘off’, but it’s really bright and as it’s designed to be used without a shade this is quite impractical. It’s too bright to look anywhere nearby let alone to look directly at it when it’s on.

I love the base lamp so am looking for an alternative bulb with fewer lumens.

Light bulb really nice but bought it thinking it came with the base in the pictures, so was suprised when it arrived as it was expensive for just a light bulb. The bulb could also be a bit dimmer as it bright to look at given that it’s exposed.

The lamp and bulb looked lovely, but now really bright, as in cannot bear to look at it bright, and flickering on and off. 7 months since purchased, and not even used all of the time. Hopefully the 3 year guarantee will cover this.

We love these bulbs because we have never had to replace one of them. A while back, I installed one of these bulbs as a test and honestly forgot about it. After two years of daily use, it is still working as it did on day one.

I ended up replacing all of our traditional tube lights with this bulb and couldn’t be happier with the result. We spend a lot less money now that we’ve switched to LED.

These are good replacement lamps for 25W fluorescents in under-cabinet cubicle lighting. I’ve retrofit about 6 fixtures so far and everyone loves them. The color temperature is a nice warm white and they start instantly.

They also stay a lot cooler than the old tubes. The only real disadvantage is the single-ended wiring, which almost always requires replacement of the original lampholders, since most fluorescent fixtures have shunts in them.
