20 Best Tanning Bed Cleaner (2022 Updated)

Had a pest problem. Vapamore cleaned any remaining boric acid I had in carpet. Never again will I use boric acid. It is difficult to remove and can poison you after you think you have vacuumed it up but not all comes up even after several vacuums.

Vapamore also disinfected mattress, couch, loveseat, chairs, kitchen floor, pillows, drapes, etc. Easy to maneuver the unit due to its compact size and wheels. The main arm has two easily detachable sections which elongate or shorten the sprayer to varied lengths for ease of use.

The back of the unit has storage for the smaller attachments. Be careful this storage space doesn’t open up while you are emptying remaining water from the unit as you could lose a few small parts down the drain.

Important to read all the safety info prior to first use so you don’t make a bad mistake which invalidates the warranty. Limited lifetime warranty looks pretty good. I can see myself purchasing an additional floor mop cloth at some point in the future.

This cloth is easy to remove and toss in the laundry. It can get dirty quickly if you do not do your standard vacuuming of carpet prior to steam disinfection. The hot steam dried quickly from upholstery.

Nothing was left sopping wet. This is important in order to avoid mold. Can not stress this enough.

It is very ease to use. Set up was simple. The amount of steam was easy to control. It has definitely met all of my expectations with flying colors. I also like the fact that it is an American made product.

The warranty is also a great selling feature. Highly recommend. Update: We have had an incredible amount of rain and our “dog” room was a muddy mess. We have tile and it was covered with dried red clay mud.

I sprayed with a bleach cleaner and mopped with the steamer. It was absolutely amazing. It cleaned the entire floor quickly. I recommend ordering extra pads. I got mine at Opentip.

I absolutely love this steam cleaner, it does what it says. You can actually steam clean your furnitures for a longer duration better than McCullogh. I initially purchased the McCullogh at Frys to try it out and it was frustrating to use as the steam was not continously and its meter would constantly alert me that I needed to give it some time to build heat pressure again.

Plus the McCullogh is too bulky. In other words, I returned it. With this Vapamore steam cleaner, I was able to continously steam clean my furnitures for 50 min. and it is not bulky and I love that the cord is retractable and it has a storage itself for everything.

This way you do not lose the other parts. Yes I would recommend this product. I love it so much!.

I closely followed the preparation instructions provided with each of the products. Based on the results at the various stages of the process it is difficult to know exactly how successful the pre-cleanser was in the over all scheme of things.

Therefore it is difficult to comment.

If you work in the garden, dig in the dirt, get paint on your hands or work on greasy equipment there is nothing better to scrub off that dirt and grime than Lava Soap. Not only does it work great, but it smells good too.

I recently ran out of Lava soap and was using the tiny scraps I had left because I could not find this anywhere but Walmart and it was out of stock at my local store so I had to order it online. Stocked up with a few packs so I won’t run out for a good long time.

Never be without this soap. It’s a necessity.

I recently had a fire at my home. It was mostly contained outside, but widespread due to 50 plus mph winds that night. Everything I touch outside covers my hands with soot from the fire. I really needed a good, no great, soap to be able to clean my hands.

Lava was the first soap that came to mind. I grew up on a farm and Lava soap has been a staple for most of my life. It really does the job when other soaps don’t.

Quite average really, just like a normal block of soap. If all I needed was normal soap, I would have ordered normal soap. However I have found an alternative to Lava Soap that works way way better and is actually gritty.

GritMitts! I will be using the GritMitts instead as a replacement from now on.

Found this gem in target a year ago and I have never wanted to go back. I wear a lot of black, so most scrubbers with bleach have caused an unimaginable amount of dismay. So first, that issue is gone.

And I use this for everything. I use this for stubborn stains on my white counter (gone), stubborn dried on food (gone, but always with LIGHT scrubbing since I’m always worried this will scratch my non-stick coated pots which hasn’t happened yet) stubborn stains on my roommate’s metal non-stick pans (gone, again with LIGHT scrubbing), cleaning my stainless steel sink (spotless), and my bathroom(spotless).

The baking soda really does its job breaking down solid waste and the other ingredients make great abrasives. The only downside I’ve had is it’s a LITTLE more difficult to rinse off of my bathroom than a normal abrasive if I use too much, but it can still wipe off clean.

I’ll still take this product 10 times over any other abrasive.

l love the product. However the shipping could use some help. (Even if it took five minutes and fingernails to peal feet of tape and alot of bubble wrap) There was a split can leaking powder when l opened it.

lt was split along the ring and although it was inside bubble wrap which was not damaged the can was still mangled. The 2nd was a slit on the side. The plastic wrap was not cut. Somewhere along the line something went wrong?? Wanted you to know.

Let’s talk about the good first. 1) I love that this concentrate comes in a big bottle. I really wish grove had their concentrates in larger bottles like this. 2) It cleans very well. I used it on my counters, floors, and the seat/outside areas of the toilets.

All very clean, no residue left behind. 3) it smells really good And the not so good. I followed the directions for mixing. 1. 5T in a grove spray bottle. 1)I ended up with a headache from this. I don’t know if they use an artificial fragrance or what.

I get headaches chemical based cleaners which is why I suspect artificial fragrance, but I could be wrong. I’m going to dilute the next bottle more and hope that helps since I have a lot to use up. It’s a BIG bottle.

2) comes in a plastic bottle. I don’t think I’ll purchase it again. Groves cleaner concentrates don’t give me a headache and they come in glass bottles.

I love Mrs. Meyers products it is my indulgence. Rather have Mrs. Meyers than indulge money on box of chocolates. Mopping floors every night after 3 month old service dog in training puppy and our special needs daughter are in bed reading.

Even though it is work, I look forward to mopping hallway, kitchen, classroom, living room, dining room and bathrooms cause Mrs. Meyers products make it all smell like “spa” time. You don’t get that with Mr.

Clean or Pinesol. Plus I know it is better for my daughter and her puppy to be rolling around on the floor together with natural ingredients instead of harsh chemicals. I love Geranium, Peony, Basil and Lemon Verbena.

This product left our bathroom smelling like dirty rags. Even 24 hours after cleaning it. Even after running the air purifier in the bathroom with the door closed and the window open. We only bought it because 7th Generation cleaning products are no longer available at our local store, and have used Bona floor cleaner in the past without a problem.

This product is $3 MORE expensive than 7th Generation. Guess we’ll have to find 7th Generation products from other online providers.

This cleaner works very well. It is good at getting tough grease and grime off of surfaces. I used it in both the kitchen and the bathroom. It is great to have a cleaner that will disinfect as it cleans.

It also doesn’t leave any residue to speak of. Based solely on its ability to clean I would give this product 5 stars. Unfortunately, I can no longer use this cleaner because the smell is overpoweringly bad and seems to linger.

When I first started using this product I didn’t much notice the scent. It was very subtle and I was indifferent to it. Now if I use the spray the scent is overpowering and pungent. I have only used one bottle so I don’t know if this is something that happens to the product over time or if I got a bad bottle but I won’t be using the product again.

Didn’t work to remove car window tint adhesive. I should have read the reviews. I left it on adhesive for like 10 minutes and still had to scrub the adhesive off. Also, this thing is messy. Goo Gone leaves an oily residue on anything it comes in contact.

A good thing about it is that it has a pleasant, non-aggressive lemon scent, unlike varnish remover, or similar, and the oily residue it leaves is removed with warm water and sunlight detergent, so at least that.

I had protected car seats very well before using this and glad I did. In the end, if you need to remove car tint glue, just use warm water with detergent and the green scrub end of the sponge. Scrub hard and see if it slowly removes the glue.

If that doesn’t work, you can try this, but I am not sure if it has any effect at all, besides making everything an oily mess. I had to scrub the rear windshield for about 2 hours with water and detergent, so in my book, this product didn’t work.

It is also flammable, so needs to be handled appropriately.

To remove a parking pass sticker from inside my windshield, I first soaked it with isopropyl alcohol to make it come off easier. After pulling it off there was a layer of sticky residue. I applied Goo Gone for a couple minutes (like the bottle says) and wiped with a clean white cloth – it did nothing.

I reapplied Goo Gone and let it sit for about 2 hours. Then when I wiped it off with a bit of scrubbing, all of the residue came off! Then you need to clean off the oily layer of Goo Gone. I sprayed a vinegar-water mixture (or glass cleaner would probably work) on, rubbed it dry, and the window looks clean.

Never knew that there was a liquid cleaner, that cleaned so well!!!!! I assure you I will always buy from Bissell from now on. Plus they work for taking care of stray pets!!!! This is something I have been doing for the past 21 years on my farm, to date, I have adopted, raised stray dogs I have found wandering around.

I am now raising 2 new ones, All in total I have raised 11 strays, making sure they went to the Vet as needed, fed them well, loved them and as they passed away, I created a cemetery on my farm, down by my pond to properly put them to rest.

I visit their graves daily and let them always know, even though they are gone to a better place, than I will always love them and hold them dear to my heart!.

I started using this at the beginning of the pandemic: worked well for wiping all the hard surfaces to disinfect. Then I started noticing that all the little hard water stains in my kitchen sink were vanishing! Tested it against the dispenser tray on my fridge & it got those annoying white drips off too.

Now I also use it to clean my humidifiers: spray it in, let it sit 10 mins for the antibacterial effect, scrub a little and rinse well. Works better than the expensive humidifier cleaner/sanitizers. Love the citrus & the bamboo scents.

I originally ordered this to use inside the house on all surfaces. The spray has great reviews, and I bought it with high hopes! I have truly loved using it all over the house, as it is so easy to use.

I have found another item to use it on! I recently got a lot of tree sap on the bottom of my sandals while at our mountain cabin. I spent an hour trying to scrape it off the bottom of one sandal. I had nothing to lose by trying to use this spray on the bottom and wiping off the sap! I was shocked how quickly it removed it from the bottom of my sandals! I recommend having this spray in your house at all times!!.

I’d never tried Method before; I usually go for other natural products which is more exensive. This stuff is amazing! Because this stuff worked so well, I went on a cleaning binge. I even used it to clean my outdoor garbage/recycling bins, and I was amazed at how quickly it cut through grime.

It cleans significantly better, faster, and with less scrubbing effort than my other brands. It appeared soft on my skin, and its promises of being environmentally and pet-friendly appealed to me. I will buy again.

Recently I was cleaning our oven and placed the racks on our granite countertop. Not realizing I’m the process that I accidentally transferred a grease mark onto our countertop. Next time I will place a towel underneath.

Anyways the racks were on the counter overnight and when I put them back in the morning there was a grease mark on the counter. I used this spray right away and it immediately came up. I was so happy!!! I always knew it was a good cleaner but really thankfully it saved our countertop from having a permanent stain.

I have always used Everspring granite cleaner. Unfortunately, it is unavailable. Hopefully, it will be restocked soon. I purchased this Method cleaner because I have used their products before. I was extremely disappointed.

I try to use nontoxic products. This cleaner doesn’t seem as “clean” as Everspring. At first the apple smell isn’t that bad, but then it is followed by something horrible. It’s not really a smell, it is more of an irritant.

I have to hold my breath, spray the cleaner, sprint to the other side of the room, and then go back to wipe down the counter. I don’t let my children use it, and I will not purchase this product again.

I believe Method can do a lot better!.

I tried this method granite cleaner because of the good reviews I read. I cleaned one part of my kitchen granite with it and the other part with the Mrs. Meyers multi purpose cleaner. I didn’t see any difference at all.

I thought it will make my granite shine but it just cleaned the surface the same way as the multi purpose cleaner. If you already have a multi purpose cleaner, don’t bother ordering this since it works the same way.

I have been using this product for a long time and have always enjoyed it. However, lately the handle design is pure trash! When you depress the handle you have to push the handle back out in order to get another spray out of it.

I love the cleaning products but they’re expensive compared to store brands. So it takes some loyalty to continue purchasing them. At this particular point, I think I will seek out the store brands. If a higher price may be factor is not willing to give meA quality product, then I have to question my loyalty.

I have noticed this lately with other products. Just lately. So I think a lot of them have gone to a cheaper manufacture overseas. Very frustrating not to be able to access the product that I purchased!.

I’ve used this cleaner for years for specific area or items that need cleaning and disinfecting however I’m ready to look for an alternative. The sprayer handle always ends up not spraying. I have to actually move the handle forward and back as opposed to the handle returning to the start position on its own.

The result is just a little “spit” of cleaner. I’ve even tried buying another bottle with the intent of combining the 2 after some of the newer bottle has been used. More often than not, the spray mechanism on the 2 bottle fails too.

I’ve tried taking off the head and replacing it as indicated (so it aligns with the arrow, etc. ) but it doesn’t make a difference.

I see so many poor reviews about the spray nozzle. I had problems at first with the spray nozzle until I stopped to inspect it and saw what I was doing. When you remove the nozzle to refill, the pickup tube is short 3” or so).

It’s not the typical long tube you find in a sprayer. If you look, a tube is actually molded into the bottle which travels down the side of the container and opens at the bottom. This is great! And insures no wasted product! When putting the cap back on, you have to make sure the short pick up tube is lined up with the hole in the side of the bottle.

If you don’t, it won’t spray and you’ll only get the drip and things people mention. It should also be noted that you can’t put the cap on in either direction. It must be oriented to the molded tube side or when you push down, the tube will pop out and it will still not spray correctly.

Pay attention and you won’t have a problem. LOVE this type of spray nozzle. Works well and strong full spray pattern with minimal effort on trigger pull. If I had anything negative to say about this product it would be that the bleach smell is fairly strong, but it certainly works well.

I used this product a few times and could tell how great it works with my skin. It doesn’t leave any after tan odor or any bronzing marks. It also feels very light on my skin and doesn’t get goopy like some tanning lotions can get.

So doing the beginning of the pandemic when stores were out of antibacterial spray many were selling this product. I’ve had it on the shelf for ‘just in case I run out of the good stuff. ‘ Well 2 months ago let’s say April and now today is June 17th 2022 I started using this product at my childcare.

This is the worst spray ever, It falls right to the floor and everywhere tracking sticky foot prints all through the business. Yes for some they may have been happy to have this product but not me! I purchased it from Costco.

This product is strictly for let’s say people who don’t know any better. It came in three cans, at this point I can no longer use it anymore and we’re still just on the first can. I will be literally tossing it in the garbage It’s not worth the money or the sticky floors and people being myst when it’s sprayed in the air/on items.

I mean seriously I won’t even use this for sanitizing my Huskies cages ETC. I didn’t want to give it any stars but as we all know you have to choose one.

I can attest to the clean, refreshing smell that does not leave a residue or ruin material or finish. However, as with all things that tout ‘antibacterial’ potency, you can’t really know if it works unless you can see bacteria dying upon contact (like you would bug spray), or the lack of bacteria building up over 24 hours (like you would weed killer).

You just have to trust that is what is actually happening. Would be cool for a green light/other tester to accompany product so you can confirm that product is doing what it says. As a result, I can’t give this product 5 stars because I don’t know if it works any better than typical household soaps and disinfectants that tout antibacterial potency.

I know a company that used Lysol on winter jackets employees had to share pre-COVID. This because they didn’t want to have to dry-clean between infrequent use. The complaint was disinfectant does NOT clean stains left on collars and wrists by hair products and perspiration.

Disinfection certainly doesn’t remove food stains. If you can, purchase Microban on sale–or use a coupon–because it could very well be a pricey ‘placebo’. I also say still clean as you normally would then, if this is truly a reliable disinfectant, you’ll be adding fresh-smelling extra layer of protection.

I spray this stuff on literally EVERYTHING!!! Especially on the bathroom! Claims to keep bacteria growth at bay for 24 hours, as well as the ability to put it on any surface you could imagine, from clothes and fabric to hard surfaces, floors, and stainless steel.

The scent is barely there, SO I also use this in my vehicle after grocery trips etc to keep everyone’s germs at bay. This stuff has not only helped my household, but its also seriously helped my anxiety/OCD about germs and fabrics! I highly recommend! Also, if you know someone with anxiety/OCD/etc, I would actually recommend this as a #gift #idea due to how universal this product is! [brand:microban] [brand:walmart].

It’s such a pleasant surprise to buy a product that actually does what it says. This product does and how! I still can’t believe it works so well. I used this on patio furniture that hadn’t been cleaned in years.

I applied it, waited 5 minutes and then very lightly scrubbed with a Scotch Brite scrubbie and rinsed. It took every bit of dirt and mildew off with so little effort. The stuff looks new again, even my family was amazed.

I will buy this stuff forever! I can’t wait to try it on other stuff. I hope Bedbathandbeyond never stops carrying this item.

Love this cleaner–best cleaner I have found for cleaning patio furniture. Was disappointed it had been discontinued. The price was much higher because it was discontinued, but was very glad to have found some more.

I have used this product before and was happy to find that it is still available. You spray it on, wait for a few minutes, and wipe down with a damp cloth. The dirt comes off, and the furniture looks brand new again.

I have never found a product as good as this.

I don’t tan very often and I am very fair-skinned, when I started tanning someone suggested that I use this and let me try the bottle they had. I don’t typically buy bronzing lotions or anything of the sort, but I wanted to try this and I am familiar with the application.

The only thing I find repelling about this particular lotion is the scent. Most products like this have a pleasant “tropical” or cocoa butter scent, but this product has a very strong chemical odor. I like that it has a dark tint so I can tell if I missed a spot when applying and while most people don’t like that aspect, as I stated previously I don’t use these products very often and I like that extra comfort of knowing that I’m not going to have blotches.

After tanning and using this product I noticed immediate results. I was worried at first that it would be streaky because it dries very fast, but I didn’t notice any streaks. After tanning several times while using this products I achieved my desired tan and it took half of the time it has taken using other products.

I don’t use lotions very often, other than what I know will work due to skin allergies. I was happy to see that this product didn’t cause any irritation. It has been nearly a month since I used this product and though I have had some fading, I am still quite tan.

Pros: Long-lasting, not streaky, easy to apply, good for sensitive skin. Cons: awful chemical smell, dark tint that some may dislike.

I bought this product after researching online and reading product reviews. I am thrilled with the results! I am fair skinned, I also tend to freckle easily. Because of my fair skin most products will make me seem orange looking or even give my skin a red tint even though I’m not burned.

This product works! The results were a nice brown tan with no orange undertones. My friends, family, even strangers commented on my skin. When I leave the tanning salon I am frequently questioned on what lotion I’m using.

It has a pleasant smell, no very strong at all. In fact, out of all the many lotions I’ve tried this lotion smells least strong when I’m done. It will continue to darken your skin for hours after just as promised.

I recommend waiting at least four to five hours before showering after use to give the auto darkening time to work properly. It doesn’t streak easily since it’s very easy to rub into the skin. You will want to make sure you get all the lotion off your hands and wrists because it can stain there.

Other than that I’ve had zero problems. I have recommended this to many people and they all love it. This will be the only lotion that I use from now on!.

The hardest part of tanning a hide is getting it ready and working it afterwards. the hide had to be salted for few days, extensively washed per the instructions, meticulously de-fleshed without tearing it.

The cream works well but if you don’t work the hide extensively then all you will get is a hard rug which is okay if this is what you want. typically, leather breaking is done by a machine for hours after tanning.

The tanning process works very well and I have used it for years to prepare deer hides. They make a great gift.

This is the first time I tanned a hide. I did everything I read about on the internet regardless salting and washing the hides. Everyone who was on YouTube recommended this product. It worked for me as well.

We have tried this product several times over several years, different batches of product and some worked and some the hair all fell out within a year. We followed the directions exactly as stated. Ruined a couple hides that belonged to customers.

Never again.

before I say anything I just want to say that personally I don’t really use specific makeup brush cleaners, typically go for an antibacterial soap and follow with a light spray of isop. alcohol. that being said, this little bar of soap works decently well.

the soap washes out of the brushes a lot quicker than most other soaps and the little pad is really helpful, but I can still see some buildup inside of brushes I use with cream products like concealer or cream/liquid blush.

you also go through the bar pretty quick because of how small it is. wouldn’t run out to repurchase as soon as I run out, but convenient for traveling and emergencies.

I use this weekly for the brush I use to apply tinted moisturizer (it’s a liquid foundation brush) and every other week for the brushes I use for powders and concealer. Prior to this cleaner I had been using gentle liquid soap and water with my hand to clean brushes.

I like that the solid cleaner bar has a container. This reminds me of the shave soap I keep in an old coffee mug for storing and lathering. I initially used the scrubbing pad inside the lid, but now put in on my palm when I’m using it on the brushes.

My primary complaint is that it does not qualify as “clean” under Sephora ingredients standards.

This stuff is so worth it, easy to use, great price, and the set up, and clean up is so easy. I thought my brushes were clean, but they brings them back to their original color quickly! Because it’s all self contained, give the bar a quick rinse when done and clean up is a breeze.

The plastic case is sturdy enough to travel with and know it won’t get stuck. I just wish you could buy the soap bar refill for the tin!.
