20 Best Tanning Lotion Indoor (2022 Updated)

Love this lotion I use it in the tanning bed and get a great natural even color with no streaking or orange. This one is my top favorite and I have been tanning for years. I made the mistake one time and tried a different lotion and totally lost all my color I wont be doing that again.

Great product and I also dont have to tan as frequently due to this helps keep my even color in place.

Says dark tanning lotion with bronzers wont streak. Ive used it for 3 days in a row and didnt get any color at all. Ive bought different devoted creations dark bronzers and the lotion was deep dark brown.

This lotion is light light brown. I dont think there are any bronzers in lotion at all. Dont waste your money!!.

Love this product. Its not super greasy. But enough to make your skin feel soft. Its my first time buying. I will buy it again

I LOVE this tanning lotion! It works so fast when you’re out tanning and you get DARK. It’s not uncomfortable, messy, or itchy. It absorbs quickly. It even has anti aging and firming benefits! It smells good, too.

I used it last night and it had a odd color to it it was not only brown but it was black in it and it had a really bad smell to it like the smell from a waste place. I know this is not normal I have used this brand before and it was nothing like this that was just one bottle idk about the other one yet.

the shopping was fast packaging was alright. Just don’t understand that smell I wanted to throw up I had to use it I had a little of the smell on me when I was done. The whole point of me getting this brand was that I smell good after I’m done tanning so if I have to run into work or the store I don’t smell like burn skin or something.

I received it super quick! Much cheaper then salon. Went to tan today, first time since last summer. It went on smooth & easy. It’s not slimy, goopy, or runny. It does have a lot of bronzing in it so make sure to wash hands after application but I see no streaking on my skin.

I’d highly recommend it & will order more Ed Hardy lotions.

It’s nice to have a bit of normalcy! Have had this bottle for months and finally got to use it yesterday, after months of no gym due to the plague. It’s pretty good! The scent is a big deal to me when tanning, I hate smelling like cooked bacon afterwords lol and this smells pleasantly.

My husband even commented on it, how much better it is than what I was using before. Definitely got more bang for my bucks with this product, had to get out of the booth a minute early. Could tell I was burning.

Yeah, I’m not disappointed – especially considering the price. I think it’s $12 on Amazon, and again for the price you could do a whole lot worse than this stuff. Tanning lotion can be so pricy, especially if you’re buying those little packets at the gym.

I was looking at walmart to find the 4000 one of this brand. I only found the 2000. To make a long story short, I used before going into the tanning beds. I didnt see a difference the first day. But the next day (this morning) I looked perfectly tan.

The color isnt super orange. Its a very natural looking tan. It takes me the whole summer to get this tan. So, I highly recommend.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! is definitely best for indoor tanning and when used a couple of times it gives you such a natural bronze. I do put sunscreen under this as it doesn’t contain sunscreen. I’ve used this product for years and cannot say anything bad about it! Definitely recommend for my girls who love to tan!.

While it smells nice when applying, after I get out of the tanning bed my skin smells like cigerette smoke. I’m not a smoker. It took me a good week to figure out where that smell was coming from. It’s from the tanning lotion.

I can’t really say it’s done what its hyped up to be for me. It is moisturizing and smells nice BEFORE you tan. But I haven’t noticed it helping my tan vs w/o tanning lotions. Will not be buying again.

I’ve used this now for 3 sessions and it truly is one of the best lotions I’ve tried. Honestly if it was packaged and priced differently you could sell this in the same range as the higher end brands and although my first love is swedish beauty this is coming in at second.

FYI I will say this is in no way the strongest bronzer you can find out there BUT it is decent, delivers even color, great price, carried in store, and NO ORANGE!!! Also I experience no ATO. Try it if your in the market for a salon tanning lotion the worst that can happen is you have to return it if you don’t like it but this is worth a shot.

This lotion has pleasent scent that isn’t overwhelmingly strong. I like that the first tan I got from this is subtle and did not make me look orange or stain my hands. I can see this lotion being very effective with multiple uses.

I also like the formula, it is a bit thinner and is easy to rub in.

Nice smell, a bit like marzipan. Good texture and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. Haven’t noticed any significant difference to how tanned I look after a sunbed but only used it twice for 6 mins each to be fair.

Confident I will see a difference after a few more uses. The twin pack offer is an absolute bargain!.

Delivered really quickly and packaged well. Smells delicious and is really smooth. On my first use I went on the sun beds and straight away got a new tan line and was darker than the last 4 sessions had made me.

Just returned from holiday and keeping up my tan I’m using sunbeds so purchased this to help moisturiser and tan. Smells great,very creamy and easily absorbed. Works good at tanning also .

This is my favorite accelerating lotion. It has a nice smell. It doesn’t leave you smelling like “tan”. It also boosts the melatonin production in your skin so well. I got the nicest brown color from using this.

There is not a tingle after two minutes it burns your skin. I had to abandon tanning and couldn’t get home fast enough to wash it off. I tried it more than once to confirm and will be tossing the rest away.

I am very unsatisfied about this product. I have boughton this before and never had a compliant about it until today! I opened both bottles to see if they were the same and the lotion is suppose to be white or a very very light shade of tan and mine was DARK like a bronzer and this is suppose to be a maximizer not a bronzer.

Very very unhappy that I spent a decent amount on 2 bottles.

I tried all sorts of samples this one is amazing, smells fresh and clean, its not greasy like some others and the base is aloe, deff hydrates the skin and gives me a nice tan without turning yourself orange with the bronzing lotions they offer! Love love it.

What I received is the actual designer skin command lotion. It arrived fast and on the expected delivery day. It smells great and applies easily. This is half the price that my tanning salon tried to sell it to me for so I highly recommend buying it here!.

Had to get this when I seen it at the tanning place. I was asked for it there but when she rang it up it came to $80! I thought nvmd I can find it online.

I love covering my whole body with this tanning lotion before tanning. It gives me a quick and dark tan all over and makes my skin feel soft and smooth.

I’m Native American so I have brown/olive skin. I get on the light side in winter. I did not know that this was a gradual tanning lotion. The color out of the bottle is very light brown. I recommend this if you are looking for a gradual tan over time.

For instant brown I use Tomas Tanning Lotion (gives instant dark brown with a sheer shine) or Tanwise Dark (comes out like a foam and makes you dark instantly but dries like a matte with no shine). However both of these products can do light streaks if you happen to get caught in rain or go to a water park ride.

However, for me after I have worn it for a day and been out in the sun, after I shower the next day I notice I still have good color on my legs. Like it baked and I do not have any streak issues with this day 2 look so I can go as is and need to re-apply.

Just depends on your original skin color.

It’s more like a tinted moisturizer than a self tanner. I’ve tried many many many self tanners and these just don’t give the color a self tanner usually gives me.

I could immediately tell a difference after the first use. And after just four uses I was a very nice dark tan. Awesome product! However you may want to wear a glove to put on, but definitely wash hands after application as it will turn your hands.

GREAT tanning lotion at a fraction of the cost. I got many nice comments on the smell of this lotion. It has a light sweet smell and doesn’t have that stinky tanning smell that some have. It also gives you a nice golden tan in a few applications.

It lasted about 3 months tanning 2 to 3 times a week. I would recommend buying this product.

I have used many bronzes without success, they either don’t work or leave you orange. I use with indoor tanning and it makes a good tan look fabulous. Enhances your color, especially overnight. You do have to wash your palms and fingernail area with soap to avoid discoloration.

You won’t be disappointed with this product and I think it smells good!.

The return policy states that no returns because of these “bottles are brand new and unopened. ” False!! The bottle came with the cap taped with scotch tape. There was no seal And most tanning lotions expiration date starts when bottle is opened.

I could also tell the bottle was opened because at the top of the bottle by the cap the lable was cracked. So who knows how long this bottle has been sitting open And god only knows what could actually be in this bottle.

I will not by from this company again and recommend going through another company as well. I figured since i found it @ walmart that i wouldnt have ebay issues.

Im sorry but tanning lotions with bronzers only get so good. Charging $80-100 like many lotions these days is ridiculous. This stuff smells good, works, and is a great value for the money. Highly recommend.

Used this cream 3 times since it’s been delivered, not impressed with it at all. Leaves skin all bitty and flakey with the bronzer. Always use bronzing subbed creams. But have to wipe this straight off every time because it doesn’t rub in and dries flakey which defeats the purpose off buying the bronzing creams.

Delivery was fast , cream just isn’t for me. Far better one on the market.

I LOVE this tanning lotion. I have such a hard time getting tan, it takes me FOREVER to get a base tan. Even when I go to the beach, i’ll be just a little darker than I was when I got there. I used to go to the tanning bed 1-2 months out of the year the closer it got to prom in high school.

I’d use the lotion that the tanning salon would recommend from their store, and once again, it would take a week or more just to notice a slight change. I started using European Gold Flash Black Tanning on a whim almost two years ago when I started working out at Planet Fitness.

I had no idea what I was buying, I grabbed a random bottle off the shelf at Walmart, and I couldn’t believe how dark it made me after only THREE VISITS!!! This tanning lotion darkened me so well, and lasted a while, that I had to cut back on how many days out of the week I was going! I have not been able to stop using this lotion since I found it! It’s cheaper compared to any other bottle you find at the tanning salon, and it’s only $10! The bottle is a good size and lasts for a long time.

I have recommended this product to my friends and family who have also had the same results! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this tanning lotion!.

Unfortunately, there was no option to give this lotion 0 stars. I have been an avid tanner for years, and I decided to take a break from lotions I usually purchase at the salon. I’m not quite sure why this lotion has so many positive remarks.

For one, my tan seemed to wash right off after using this. My skin didn’t feel moisturized, and I didn’t see the instant color I was looking for. I rather spend $20 more on a nicer lotion from a tanning salon that will last longer and give me better results.

Also, I don’t see how this can truly be a “500x Bronzer” when even the high tier tanning lotion go up to about 45x or 50x bronzing power.

I ran out of the tanning lotion I normally use ($100/bottle!) and I wanted to go tanning really bad but I didn’t have the money to waste on lotion, especially since it’s the holidays. I was at my neighborhood Wal Mart and decided to look up the reviews for this lotion and decided to try it.

Why not? I’m so glad I did. I feel like such an idiot for wasting sooo much money on those expensive tanning lotions they sell you at the salons. This stuff worked so much better in ONE tanning session! Even my bf noticed!.

This item has now got me a referral to a dermatologist. I have had now for over 2 weeks, burns and rash to my legs, chest, arms and stomach. I have prescription medications and topical creams to put on due to the damage this has caused.

This shouldn’t be allowed to sell. It’s dangerous. I could be scarred for life due to this rubbish.

Best word to describe this lotion: OUCH. I have to insist that you READ THE DIRECTIONS and follow them. This is a tingler. If you have sensitive skin, don’t use it. I also suggest having a base tan before using.

You will feel a warm sensation after putting this lotion on and of you haven’t established a base tan it will be uncomfortable. Also, your skin will be red for hours after. It does leave you darker than tanning alone will after your skin cools down.

I notice that it leaves me a bit streaky so if you’re using it be sure to apply it carefully and consistently and be sure to exfoliate your skin afterwards. Overall not a bad tanning lotion, but I won’t be dishing out money for a second bottle.

rating is my opinion alone and given because; -I deducted 1 1/2 stars for the amount of redness and time it takes to calm the skin. -Another star was deducted for the streakiness and having to work to maintain it.

-1/2 star deduction because I do not like the smell of the lotion at all.

My second purchase of this product. This gives you a lovely colour with regular use but mind the burn!. Takes a bit to get used to.
