20 Best Tape Extension Remover (2022 Updated)

I absolutely love this adhesive remover. With having kids, you never know where they will stick their stickers and I absolutely hate buying stuff from the store and the adhesive or the price tag sticks to the product.

I sprayed a little bit of this adhesive remover on different store bought products and after a few seconds, I wiped the adhesive off with a paper towel within seconds. So easy to use and with no effort.

The only thing I didn’t care for was the odor this product left, so an unscented version would be terrific but for now I can handle the scent because it does exactly as it says. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

LiftOff really works! I had dropped a facial wax strip on my floor awhile back and it left behind the sticky wax substance which was impossible to get off the floor. Now this is not the hard wax like they use at a salon, it is the super sticky wax that is on the strips.

I had scrubbed and scraped at it but hardly none of it would come up. And since it was sticky, it was just getting dirt and debris stuck into it and becoming a dark ugly spot on my floor. So when I got this adhesive remover, I thought i would give it a try on the sticky wax.

I followed the directions, by spraying it on the spot and leaving it for 60 seconds. Then it said to use a plastic scraper to scrape it up. Which I know some people may not have one but I did. You could also use a butter knife or even a credit card.

Something with a hard edge. To my surprise, it easily came up when I used the scraper on it. It took no effort at all and every bit of that sticky wax came up. It did leave the floor kind of slick because it is a oil like spray.

But I got that cleaned up with a paper towel. I am very happy with the results and it will be my go to product to use anytime I find myself with another sticky situation!.

I had used this on several different types of material- glass, plastic, vinyl and metal and found that it removes the sticky tape/label on some better than others. I had a bunch of mason jars with old labels on them and when I sprayed them and waited the 60 seconds as stated on the label, I was able to get most of the label off at one time.

I did have to spray a little more on a few to get the entire label off. The plastic took several applications to get it to finally come off. On the metal, it only took me one application and it was able to come off.

Then I used it on an old vinyl chair that had some old tape stuck to it. It did not come off easily as I was not really able to scrape it well. It also has a strong smell, similar to oil and would not recommend it on vinyl at all.

It took some washing to get the oily smell and product off of it. Great for metal and glass I think.

This works really well! I’ve always used goo-gone to remove stickers as I haven’t found anything better. The plastic scraper works well. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the scraper got dented.

but I was able to re-adjust it on a flat surface.

This was great! I needed to remove the car dealership decal from my car and it worked as promised. I just used a little bit of the Goo Gone on a paper towel, then pressed it over the decal for a few seconds before scraping off.

The scraper was gentle and didn’t scratch my car paint.

Need to remove my own tapes during lockdown so, went to my usual place to buy this oil as it’s where I buy anything I need for my hair extensions! Brilliant product and removal took a few seconds, no residue left on my own hair at all.

This product was recommended by someone on an instructional video for removing hair extensions. I was convinced, so I purchased the product. WOW! I was totally amazed how easy it is to apply, and remove tape-in hair extensions! It only took 10 minutes to remove them all, a couple of minutes to shampoo and remove the remover from the extensions.

They were ready for re-use in minutes! Great product, I am recommending it to all my friends, and acquaintances who wear hair extensions, or wigs. Thank you for being so great and easy to use!.

the actual product is good. it does as it says, takes the time it says it’ll take. my only problem is that the top of the bottle is leaky, and no matter how many times i try to twist it shut, it won’t tighten.

and so when i’m using it, quite a bit get’s on my hands. it’s wasting the product and makes me feel like i won’t be able to use my money’s worth before the bottle empties. this seems like a design issue so hopefully someone on the company’s end can fix that.

other than that, it’s great.

I wore 40 wefts (20 sandwiches) of tape-in extensions for over 3 years. This was my first time ever removing the extensions myself. With 3 1/2 months passing between my appointments during the pandemic, without being able to see my hairdresser, I ordered this bond remover from Donna Bella and removed the extensions myself.

After observing my stylist remove them and watching her technique for the past few years, I felt I had a pretty good idea of how to remove them. I was able to removed each bond WITHOUT any damage to my own hair OR the extensions.

While there was the expected residue, that removed easily enough with combing olive oil into my hair and leaving it for a few hours. After that, I shampooed my hair REALLY good with a clarifying shampoo and my hair is back to normal.

I used half the bottle of bond remover for the 40 wefts, but I used it quite generously so as not to pull too hard. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!.

Did not remove my extensions as quickly as it had claimed. Removed the hair from the extension and then I had a tape sandwich stuck to my hair. My hair was washed twice after and was incredibly greasy.

Had to use a clarifying shampoo twice, so washed my hair four times to get it to normal.

I easily removed all my tape-in extensions myself using this product. A lot of glue residue was left in my hair which was very hard to get out until my stylist told me to use more of the remover product to comb out the glue.

If the glue is being stubborn, use copious amounts of this product (more than you think you’d need) on the glue, rub it in a bit and comb it all out. Works like a charm. I had 4 bags of tape-in extensions and was able to remove all of them and the glue using half the bottle of this product.

I’ll be using the other half next time around. Great product!.

Excellent product! Dont have a strong smell as most of the removers and does it job releasing the bond, you just have to wait a little and reapply a bit more on the resistant ones. I am very satisfied! And its durable.

This item did help remove bonded extensions, but made my hair frizzy. Smells like acetone which does remove keratin bond. Just be careful not to put on whole head.

Haven’t used yet. But I’m sure will be fine. Oil helps removed the tape residue that is left over on the hair when I remove my hair.

The scent could be strong for some, but it works well. For those wondering, it’s a rubbing alcohol type of scent?

I have had tape extensions for a couple of years and just tried this brand and would happily say it is the best tape extension remover I have used. Doesnt leave any sticky residue and removes tape easily and cleanly.

Not drying to the extensions at all. Loosens the bonds of the tape easily and really quickly. Will definitely use only this for removal of my extensions from now on.

being a single homeowner do-it-yourself gal, I had stubborn tape and glue residue all over, even on the scissors I use to cut tape with. I NEEDED this product! at first I was a bit afraid of it because of the label warnings, but followed the rules and proceeded.

it worked effortlessly. removing the residue from a makeshift doggie door was the 1st project, now after 3 yrs I can open that screen without it sticking closed. also cleaned the tape scissors with just a swipe! I now find myself reaching for the can when a label only partially peels off leaving a mess, etc.

while my clean-up projects with flex tape adhesive remover have been small, I can see how it would be indispensable for the larger projects like wallpaper. it does have an odor, but not overwhelming.

it did not melt plastic, remove paint, no disasters. thumbs up! *4 stars rather than 5 because. for my small projects a non-spray form would work better. hopefully flex tape adhesive remover is available in a pour/spritz/drip form?.

The adhesive remover is basically magical. For my first test, I grabbed a metal pasta cutter. I’d painstakingly scrubbed and soaked the label off, but there was still adhesive residue. I sprayed just a little Flex Tape and wiped it off with a paper towel.

LESS THAN 10 SECONDS LATER! It still shows (for now) that there was something that, but I think it will continue to fade with washes. I also tried with a fully stuck label and had great results. It’s a game-changer product for sure.

Note: A little goes a long way and you should follow closely the directions about gloves and ventilation.

We had corner protectors for all our furniture with a toddler in the house for last 2 years. Now that she is grown, we decided to remove those and realized that they left sticky residue. It was not fun to look at these furniture corners with sticky stuff attracting dust and hair etc.

After a few failed attempts to remove the residue by wipes, cleaning liquids etc, I decided to try this flex tape adhesive remover. It worked like magic and was so easy. I sprayed it on the spots and just wiped it after a few mins.

The top on this bottle does not produce enough liquid to easily apply it in order to remove the wig glue eighter while on the head or after to clean up the glue off the wig or the skin. However if traveling, this size is good and won’t spill.

You can still use it to the job done but it will take a very long time.

This is the most amazing product for removing adhesive/tape from lace front wigs, hair, skin etc. I am SUPER impressed with its performance so much so that I will never be without it!! I highly recommend this for maintaining the life of your wig, it makes clean up a snap and is great for getting adhesive off your fingers too!!!.

These dont work so well and they are small, about 3/4 x 1-3/4. I was accustomed to the ones that are about 2 x 2 but could not find their size in the description. Because of their size, they are somewhat difficult to hold on to while applying to the skin and necessitates using more than one to get the job done.

They arrived promptly but had been opened from the bottom and looked like the box had been stepped on and was crushed. Next time Ill make a trip to the pharmacy to get the the ones that work well.

I have sensitive skin & can’t scrub adhesive residue off without skin damage. This stuff takes it off skin gently & easily. I also use it to remove adhesive residue from price tags from products. It’s a heckuva a lot easier than peeling, scrubbing or using the wrong solvent & taking the color or finish off.

Best product I’ve found in decades. The price is incomparable. Difficult to open, but the quality is very gentle on the skin, yet very concentrated. Highly recommended.

It does what it is designed to do on removing tape adhesive, i further used it on jar decal adhesive, which it was harder to remove but accomplished it with scrubbing with the pads.

Un-do is great and to be quite honest purely amazing. A few days ago i accidentally got some fly strip glue adhesive on my flat screen tv screen and immediately ran to the bathroom to get water to rub it off.

Unfortunately it just spread the glue around making it a bigger problem. I saw a video on YouTube about a person using this product on their tv screen and figured what the heck. After watching the video i went straight to walmart.

com app and ordered this product it came within 3 days Im glad i did because after putting a dot of this un-do on a paper towel it immediately wiped it off and evaporated into thin air. I took a wet paper towel and cleaned the spot and then dried it off with a microfiber towel.

You would never know that it ever happened. Thank you to this wonderful cleaner.

I have used this product for years to remove adhesives safely. Originally, I bought it from an archival store to remove tape residue safely from photos. It worked great, and have since expanded its’ use on CD cases, glass and other plastic items.

It does not mar the finish. Of course, it has a temporary strong odor, but quickly resolves.

I am pleasantly surprised with how well this product works!!! It quickly removed a very sticky price tag off a new frame we purchased. I also tried it on a scrapbook page that I needed to remove a photo from to make copies for relatives.

Wow. it lifted a very glued down picture within seconds and didn’t damage the photo or the scrapbook page. Every home should have a bottle for removing sticky residues quickly.

It took off 3 different kinds of bandage and tape adhesive. My husband has had to use numerous bandages for the last 2 weeks with 3 additional weeks ahead. We tried all the different kinds of bandages and tape and they all left residue.

I started with the wipes by UniSolve, and they work great at loosening my infustion sites, so that I can gently remove them, and clean the site as well. The wipes are infused with a lot of liquid UniSolve, and I never really need that much liquid, so when I saw the liquid, I thought I would try it to gain a little more control over how much liquid I needed, which isn’t much on a small alcohol pad.

This stuff works really good, cleans beautifully and doesn’t irritate my skin.

Purchased to post Doberman ears. Works good, removes with Unisolv, enough to post a whole litter of the cutest Dobermans ever!! Fast delivery, glue arrived as new, no problems with can, glue was fresh, lid was tight as it needs to be to prevent drying.

Selbstverstndlich lst der Ayoka-Lser die Bondings ohne Probleme und ich frage mich wieso das einige nicht auf die Reihe bekommen. Die Bondings einsprhen und nicht sofort dran zerren, sondern mit der Zange die ihr hoffentlich mitgekauft habt die Bondings rundherum plattquetschen, 2-3 mal jeweils von 2 Seiten.

Beim Autofahren gehts nach dem Start auch nicht gleich los wenn man vergisst nen Gang einzulegen, Mann,Mann,Mann. Wartet vor dem Plattquetschen 2-3 Minuten das das Zeug die Bondings lst, die werden davon aufgeweicht das man sie zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger herausziehen kann.

Macht soviel rauf das die Bondings auch aufweichen knnen fr die Extensions habt ihr ja auch ordentlich Kohle bezahlt also was solls. Kleberreste sind ja wohl vllig normal wenn man die Bondings kaputt macht und herauszieht, also entfernt die gleich mit.

Merkt euch vor allem eines: Gut Ding will Weile und Hektik fhrt zu Qualittsverlusten. Ihr werdet in etwa die gleiche Zeit brauchen zum entfernen wie derjenige gebraucht hat der sie euch gesetzt hat, also cool bleiben !!! Ich jedenfalls empfehle den Ayoka Bondinglser zu 100%.

TranslateShow in original languageNach meinen eigenen Erfahrungen mit dem Produkt, lassen sich zwar die Tapes schnell lsen, aber der Klebstoff bleibt komplett in den eigenen Haaren kleben. Hier kommt man nur mit l weiter und dann langsam rauskemmen.

I used this in bond remover yesterday for the first time! It works great! My extensions came right out and no messy residue in my hair! I will be using this product from now on!

It’s just rubbing alcohol and mineral oil. Overpriced for something you can make yourself. Did not dissolve all bonds and I had to go back and very carefully use straight rubbing alcohol to remove the remainder of residue.

I won’t buy it again, I will make it myself.

I previously tried bond remover from another brand and let’s just say this product is a game changer my extensions just slid out! Awesome product just wish they sold a bigger bottle but this stuff works awesome! And I didn’t lose any of my own hair!.
