20 Best Tape For Brick (2022 Updated)

I was eager to receive this product because I have various areas outside/inside the home I want to seal. I’ve never used a product l like this so I decided to use it as a test. The spray can application at first seemed like a better idea, but after seeing it in action, I was disappointed.

The spray zone was wider than I anticipated which lead to an overspray onto areas I didn’t want covered. The consistency was about what I imagined because it’s basically liquid rubber that ends up a chunky spray that kind of smooths after drying.

The color was exactly as described and the product does seal and prevent water from penetrating after fully drying. I believe it took longer to dry because it’s winter weather right now. I feel applying this product during a better season would have better results overall.

The worst thing about this product is the odor. I read the instructions and paid attention to where I was spraying making sure to have good ventilation, but even though I used it outdoors, I could still smell it coming into the home.

It’s has a very strong odor and doesn’t fade as quick as I would have l liked. It almost reminded me of the smell of gasoline. The clean up was more difficult than I had hoped. I tried scrubbing it off areas of my hands that got covered from scrubbing the areas of the house that the overspray came into contact with.

I had to use a heavy duty hand scrub just to remove to small spots on my hand and still have find something to remove it from the areas of my home I didn’t want sprayed. Overall it’s a good product that does what it is supposed to do, but there are certainly drawbacks and a bit of a learning curve.

Better weather and more personal trial and error could have made this experience excellent.

I love Gorilla Tape. I have been using it for decades. In the past & for my car’s lifetime, It has been known to hold my exterior car parts together, & I don’t have a garage & I live in NH. I do container veggie gardening (big garden) & Gorilla Tape holds the containers together if they split, saving a LOT of money.

I go through a big roll about once a year. I use it everywhere. It has proven to me to be weather resistant here in NH. I use 5 gallon paint or drywall buckets everywhere. The plastic tube on the handles break up & fall off.

I wrap layers of gorilla tape back & forth which makes it naturally crinkle. That is a soft finger protector for carrying heavy loads, & for the rest of the life of the bucket. & I use it any place that one would use Duct tape.

The SKYRC IMAX is the real version not a knockoff and the difference is night & day. This LIPO charger has better electronics and has a built in cooling fan to protect them. Also, the instructions are very detailed about everything you can imagine.

It also balances cells better and best of all it does not overcharge LIPOs like most chargers do, which will damage them beyond repair. Super charger for the price.

This kit came with everything needed to fit my Traxxas Rustler, and installation was simple and straight forward. The bearings that came in the kit are rubber sealed and smooth, they seem well made so far.

All the steel parts in this kit are thick and seem as though they will have very good longevity. I noticed two things when installing this kit that could be slightly concerning. The first is a slight fitment issue with the hub’s.

The lower pin is rather tight and could cause some binding in the suspension travel. The second is with the retainer ring that helps hold the upper pin in. It has a small split in it that the pin can slip out of should the grub screw come loose.

Ive been using the b6 mini for a couple of years to power all kinds of projects. Its very versatile and even has enough power to bring a dead car battery to life. Discharging takes a long time but charging is fairly quick unless its a monster of a battery- its wattage rating and the rating of your power supply will determine how much of those 50-60 advertised watts will be flowing.

I like it enough to have bought a second one for simultaneous use.

Although the concept of having brick measurements on the tape is useful the execution is poor, its way too big and uncomfortable to hold the quality of the painted blade is poor looks like it will flake off easily and the printed numbers are blurry not crisp at all double printed and misaligned.

For this price I would expect quality this is worse than a pound shop tape blade. Compared to other quality tape measures at this price eg tajima it is a real let down unfortunately it seems to be the only brick tape on the market.

Bought as a present for my son just starting in the building game. He reckons it’s great, to me it’s a tape measure with different numbers printed on it. Seems pritty solid for a plastic body, we’ll see what it’s like once sand gets in?.

3M Scotch Heavy Duty Masking Tape 2020+ is my new go to product. I have used and tested this tape on many different types of projects. My favorite (most rewarding) was creating a chalkboard on my office closet door.

I did not experience the dreaded tear in the tape when only a part of it is coming off the roll and the other half remains on the roll. Additionally, one swipe of the hand across the tape and it is was adhered to the box and the ends remained intact without curling up.

Bought this to repair a cut in the underbelly pan of a 5th wheel trailer. The cut was 6 feet long. The repair was perfect. Much more secure and substantial then some “other” duct tape. This tape would not tear when being applied.

Please be aware though that you need to follow the instructions concerning application to a clean, grease free surface. I cleaned the area where tape was to be applied with Acetone first and then applied.

Once applied and pressed firm, the tape would not come off. Just what I wanted.

This does so many jobs around the house. So strong I use for armour plating my shot blasting coveralls two layers thick, saves so many pairs of overalls in the industrial shot blaster. Works amazing as a masking tape for sand and steel shot blasting, it’s very energy absorbing strength will take a lot of direct blasts and still protect a precision surface.

Compressed air from a 120psi 1. 5” nozzle will not lift the adhesive.

This is the best tape that I have ever bought. I have bought in the past so many tapes all saying it would hold anything, only to have spent a fortune and none of them have been any good. My need for a strong tape was to keep a hose in place on a brick wall which allowed my tumble dryer to disperse the hot air out through a hole in the wall into fresh air.

I was forever having to put new tape onto the brick wall, but each time I bought a different tape, the same thing happened each time. It seemed the heat from the hose was softening the tape hence the tape was going soft and loosing its stretch to hold the hose in place.

The hose itself was very light in weight so it amounted too that none of these other tapes did what they said they would do. It was after seeing a demonstration on TV about Gorilla Tape that I thought well I have tried everything else bar this one.

Marvellous, the Gorilla Tape has not moved at and is withstanding the heat that builds up in the hose as it travels through into fresh air. I wish I had tried this Gorilla Tape sooner. I would highly recommend this tape.

I love the fact that it doesn’t break down like duct tape and seals and the adhesive property is top notch. Once you buy 1 role you will never step down to your conventional tape. I would recommend this for any and all jobs from home fixes to extreme and emergency fixes.

Like most people,our Gas and Electricity meters are in an external unit. Like most people the “door”has fallen off. This white Gorilla Tape inconspicuously holds ours in place regardless of the weather.

Have tried many different types of “Duct” tape and Gorilla is easily my first choice.

I have used black and green Gorilla tapes and been pleased with them. I needed white to match in and it has worked well. It is in an outside situation and won’t last forever but i can easily replace it.

I’ve used this tape on my wooden window sills, saves me repainting with the bonus of also water proofing them. Good quality tape, easy to cut, looks fine when job is completed.

This is really good tape. It’s like a cross between electrical tape and duct tape. I tried it on my landlords cooler doors that don’t want to stay shut. You can see in the photos how he tried using packing and duct tape to wedge doors shut but they dry out and get loose and the doors won’t stay shut again.

I put this gorilla tape over several of the doors and it has been holding strong for weeks now. It’s stretchy feeling and the outer tape is rubbery feeling which helps it hold the doors closed. I’m keeping this tape in my emergency repair bag since it’ll have tons of useful applications at home and work.
