Sometimes the tape does come undone. But it is easy to remove from your clothes. The best part about fashion tape in general is that you can make clothes stay the way you like them without too much tugging and adjusting throughout the day.

Like I said the holding power only goes so far but I wear, for example, cardigans that I want to sit just so on my chest without being buttoned. Voila, this does the trick. It can also keep your shirt from riding up.

Just don’t do jumping jacks.

I think this is a must have in any wardrobe especially if you wear formal dresses and/or fight with low cut tops constantly. I wouldn’t use these everyday because they do start to get uncomfortable but you know what’s more uncomfortable? Every woman and girl should have this product on hand because it’s a life saver. I use it nearly everyday and I have got all my girlfriend’s using it on a daily basis too. I’ve used this for so many emergencies and temporary repairs such as losing a button on a blouse and once I used a piece of it to keep my daughter’s pantyhose from running any further by simply sticking it over the snag or run and although it didn’t repair the hose, it did stop the small snagged thread from running the whole way down her leg or turning into a huge hole.

I’ve also used these to repair the sole of a child’s shoe temporarily until they got home and it worked out perfect without having to dry shoe glue. I seriously can’t be with out this amazing product.

I have used this multiple times for skin to fabric and fabric to fabric. Must be applied to dry skin but it will really hold all day! It usually takes me a couple tries to figure out what’s the best placement of tape for each garment — it comes with a lot of tape strips so I don’t feel wasteful when I do my trial and error.

They work well on light to medium fabrics, but something like a heavy formal gown might be too much weight for this tape. You can easily trim these down if you need smaller strips but they are a perfect length.

I have never had these come undone on me, I feel secure all night. They do not leave any residue when they’re removed. I love the convenient and sturdy container too.

I used these tapes on the neckline of a low cut dress, to make sure it wouldn’t open up when I bent down and it works great! Easy to put on and take off; I’ve used it with other dresses and blouses with no problem.

I have been buying the Hollywood Fashion Tape ever since it came on the market. If your bra straps are falling off of your shoulders or the the bra straps are not staying where you want them to be then purchase this item.

The tape comes in strips and so you take off the white paper on one side and stick it on top of the bra strap. Then, take off the paper that is still on the top and now that side will be sticky also.

Take your garment and place it over the bra where you want the garment to stay in place. For most fabrics it will hold your garment in place for the day and sometimes you can use it a second day. I wouldn’t do without the Hollywood Fashion Tape.

I LOVE this stuff!! I CAN sew but have never been good at sewing hems. This stuff is a life-saver! I have taken two long-sleeved dress shirts and made them short sleeved. Everyone says they look like they came that way.

I also had two silky/satiny-like pajama tops where the bottom would roll up, shortening them by 2-3 inches (and letting my poochy-belly show). On one I took a silky dress scarf, cut it in half length-wise, placed the hem tape on the underneath of the pajama top, then put that on top of the scarf, extending the length of the top.

On the other I did the same thing except I had bought a 6-inch wide strip of LACE, cut it in half length-wise as well and did the same thing, adhering it to the bottom of the top and extending the length.

The first person who saw my work said “nice pajamas” even though he’d seem them before, he just thought they were new/different after their transformation. I will absolutely definitely keep a roll of this on-hand.

I’ve already looked in my closet at other shirts/tops I don’t wear because they’re a little too short and am looking to extend THEIR lengths too! The tape is easy to handle but it IS double-sided so you have to be careful it doesn’t catch on something before you’re ready.

was just what i needed for my bedroom curtains since they were way too long and i didn’t feel like taking them down and hemming them; it was much quicker to simply cut them then apply the tape which is double sided and works really well.

This product is great for in a pinch hemming. If you do not see or cannot get to a tailor this does the job. It is affordable and effective. I am happy with the results I get. I would recommend this product to others.

I don’t know why there are some negative reviews. This works great as double-sided tape to keep lower-cut shirts in place. It’s really sticky and lasts all day. I assume the tape wouldn’t stick well to moisturized or oily skin.

Purchased this fabric tape for a low cut dress I wore for my daughters wedding. It’s completely worthless. It stuck to my skin, but not to the dress itself. I can only hope that the exposed tape does not show up in any of the photos.

I use this alllllllll the time and love it! It works in a pinch to make clothing that is not quite right for outside wear, fit properly. If you are using it on hyper delicate fabric I would try to put it on the inside and see if you can remove it before you use a lot of it on a gown, much like you would any other product.

So I was super excited to try this out cause I really needed it and have never tried a clothing tape before. I just ended up very disappointed. I like the idea of this tape. I used it to hold up my strapless bra and while it worked for a moment, my natural oils eventually just loosened the adhesive and I ended up having to lift my bra up all night.

It’s pretty good. I really like it because It’s something I use it a lot. I have used it for like six months and its repeat. I will keep using it because I really love it. I highly recommend this product.

I was pretty excited about trying this product out but it didn’t work out for me unfortunately. They kept moving out of place, they were not sticky enough and I wasn’t confident enough to actually use them on a night out in any of my outfits.

I’ve used this tape for a few years now and it is the most handy thing in the world when it comes to rips in clothing(forget iron on patches, they simply don’t work for long while this stuff lasts seemingly forever), or just wanting to make something unique.

I have mixed feelings about this tape. For the day of my wedding, it didn’t do a great job of holding up my garters; I had to keep feeling through my dress to make sure they were staying put. They felt like they kept slipping, and my bridemaids had to physically go under my dress to reattach them a couple times.

However, a couple weeks later, I went to a club with my sister and husband, and wanted to wear a dress with no bra. I used this tape to attach the dress to my breasts, and there was ZERO slippage. I was dancing and sweating and still had no problems with the tape moving.

In fact, my dress was still securely attached to my breasts when I drunkenly arrived at home and had to pry it off of me. All in all, I think the tape would probably be better suited for light garments in areas that don’t have much movement (my breasts move significantly less than my legs, for instance).

I love these fashion tape packages since they have helped me tremendously during the Covid Pandemic. I have made thousands of stick on masks for my clients to be able to cut their hair without getting their masks wet or cutting their straps.

I don’t write many reviews, and almost never write any 1-star reviews. But this product deserves an exception. I went through nearly the entire package just trying to temporarily hem one simple pair of pants.

The 2-sided tape would not keep the hem in place, and only served to create problems by sticking to itself or to my legs as soon as the hem started to fall apart. It’s basically just overpriced 2-sided tape that does not do what it says it’s supposed to do.

I ended up figuring out a way to temporarily hem my pants with safety pins. If that won’t work for you, you might try the iron-on temporary hem tape. That might work better. But don’t waste your time and money on this product.

This worked perfectly for my situation. My daughter had a dress for a dance that was too long because her shoes were flat so we needed to hem the bottom but didn’t want a permanent solution so she could wear it in the future with heels.

I was worried because the outer material of the dress was a sheer material and also the tape said it was white so I was afraid it would show through but it was actually clear and it was gentle enough on the material to put on and come off to re-adjust if you need to! It looked great, nobody could tell it was taped up! And it was on sale when we picked it up so I received the adjusted money back onto my card.

I have used in a pinch but prefer a hand stitched hem for polyester stretch slacks to hang right. Because it can get tricky and still move after you pin in place. But you can’t beat iron-on tape for most other fabric projects: shortening curtains, etc.

I have not used this product yet. I purchased it to use on masks I am in the process of making out of quilted material. I believe this product will work great for hemming due to the thickness of the material.

The bottom cuffs of a favorite pair of pants were shredding–the pants were a bit too long and dragged along the floor. So, I managed to cut off the shredded parts and use the Wright’s iron on hem tape to make new hems.

This tape really works. I used it on a gaping button up shirt. I’ve got a large bust and had a tight shirt that I was sure was going to come apart because of the tension. It didn’t come loose at all over 8 hours when I took it off for the night.

The Wardrobe Adhesive strips from Scotch are top notch! I have used this on multiple occasions and they have held up throughout a night on the town in Las Vegas. They are heavy duty and stick to fabric very well.

I’ll “stick” to the facts: This wardrobe tape keeps my clothing in place and doesn’t irritate my skin. Also the backing peels off easily, which makes it easy to place. I tried another brand in the past, but this is the only one I’ll continue to buy.

Didn’t gum up needle. I only used small bits and pieces to keep brass teeth zippers in place for sewing. When I tried using pins, the zippers kept becoming wavy and uneven. As a beginner, I couldn’t keep the zippers straight with pins and these wonder tapes helped a great deal.

I saw a lady who has an advanced sewing video channel use it in a few of her projects, she made everything looked easy and I tried to go without the tape but ended up using the tape in the end. I didn’t even know something like this existed! I wanted something even thinner because the area I was sewing was very thin but this was the thinnest wonder tape I could find and now I have a totebag with a zipper pocket!.

After watching You Tube videos on using basting tape to anchor a zipper for sewing, I thought I’d give it a try. It would have been great if the adhesive had worked, but it just didn’t stick. Now I have to rip out the failed sewing and go back to hand basting.

I am a dress designer and quilter and would have loved using this all the many, many years of my designing and sewing career which I have mostly retired from except for making some darling dresses for my daughter.

I saw WT on you tube as a demo and went wild! I bought 90 ft (3 spools) off ebay and have used 12″ so far as I use it over and over. I simply cut a 12″ piece into four sections and used them at the top and bottom of my garments to be sewn.

After the seams were done, I took it off the knit seam that I just sewed up and put it on the top of my flat lamp shade for the next seam and so on. I think my three spools will last until after the millennium if I use it in this way.

I am about to put knit sleeves into one of my gorgeous creations and it will be interesting to see how easily they go in. I love this stuff! Thank God for Wonder Tape!.

I first found this tape in France – it has superior adhesive properties as well as strong fabric – ideal for serious load bearing jobs. I was always on the look out for it when in France and was delighted when I found I could get it on E Bay.

I purchased enough tape to equal 16m in inch wide strips so I could replace the seam sealing on an entire hiking tent (base and fly). That’s a lot of tape. After spending days removing any evidence of the pre-existing failed tape and it’s residue, I replaced it all in accordance to the advice and instructions I’d found online – there are none provided with the product.

I was careful with the application, and gave it all time to “cure” before storing it in its bag. I was to use the tent in the coming days, spending 3 days living in it. Light rain on the first night, and the whole thing leaked.

Not ideal. Dried it and stored it to move on to the next camp site. When I took it out of its bag, most of the tape from the fly had detached and stuck the whole lot together, meaning if I was to use the tent that night, all the tape that has come off had to be removed.

So of course it rained properly that night. Everything soaked, camping trip scuttled. I’ve also tried this same tape to repair the seams of a jacket, and it looks like the same thing is happening. Not exactly value for money in anyone’s language.

And whilst it was a bit of money, it’s not even that – the whole buying process was disappointing. As a new customer, there was no way to apply the discount to the shopping cart at checkout. Instead, I get an email telling me that I had a discount I could apply providing I purchased something else within a couple of days.

Incidentally, I bought this tape in two seperate purchases as I didn’t get enough 1st time, but wasn’t aware of this until about a week later when I got around to applying it. At the point of 2nd order, there was another email telling me the same thing! At this rate, I’m not about to make another purchase here unless something about this process looks likely to be fixed.

But I doubt it. As far as internet reviews and feedback goes, I’m just another old dude screaming at the clouds. Good luck everyone.

I repaired a holey down sleeping bag I found, and also my Ortlieb panniers and handlebar bag when they fall and rip or the wheel rubs. Both the thick material and the fancier cloth like material. It’s worked in all applications.

The one application it did not work on was a hole in my stretchy bike shorts. Surprisingly the white hasn’t gathered a ton of dirt yet. I think it’s worth it to buy some and keep it in the emergency med kit while camping.

I hadn’t experienced a tape like this and it wows me! The reflective version of this I’ve added to my helmet (to cover the foam colored bits for safety) and it was totally worth it. The stickiness is superb.

I have heard great things from folks years ago about this tape. When I saw this I knew it was a must have for hiking/camping. Fixes holes and tears well when following instructions. Out in the field accidents happen and preparedness is key.

This tape will solve future problems. Wished I had this tape when my last tent got a small hole. Duct tape didn’t work very well. I ordered clear. Happy to have in my gear.
