I bought this hangmans tape believing it would hold a typical poster it should be able to hold a piece of acoustic foam 12 inches by 12 inches. the foam actually weighing less then a poster does. I put 5 pieces of the tape on the foam, one on each corner the other in the middle.

put the foam on the wall the next day most pieces already fell of the wall! Don’t waste your money on this way over priced tape! Go get yourself some 3M tape or gorilla tape way better and much cheaper for the same size roll!.

I bought these Command adhesive strips to hang a 12ft x 3ft bithday banner. The banner is made from thick card and weighs around 600g just over half a kilo. There are 12 small strips in this packet. you do have a problem and its stuck to the wall, dont rip it off in a panic Get a hair dryer if youre bald, borrow one and warm the strip up a bit and then get some dental floss and drag it down the strip flush with the wall and it will remove it, like a cheese wire cutting actionThe recommended temps for using these are 1040 deg C 40105 deg FSo many uses for these, highly recommended.

I used these all throughout my four years of college, it was something I bought every time I moved somewhere new! These are a must have if you are renting a place and want to hang posters or small tapestries without ruining the paint on the walls.

I have never had an issue with it staying in place or during removal. Super easy and effective to use! The price also isn’t bad considering you get to hang things up without ruining the walls.

Being an engineer, Ive never really been a fan of sticky tape solutions, and years ago considered 3M products just a gimmick after my experience with them. However, after searching for alternatives for mounting a selection of posters of all different sizes, including several very large ones, I plumped for these due to cost.

I have to say Im quite impressed its an extremely cheap solution with a rather elegant finish i. e. no framehookswires. Cant comment on dismounting, as yet that hasnt been required. Suffice to say Ive been converted 3M seem to have brought their solutions into the 21st century as far as functionality is concerned.

Wouldnt hesitate to use again.

I was so disappointed. My husband is very cautious about hanging art in our house because of the plaster. I assured him that the Command strips would work. I lined up the strips on my frame, put in on the wall, pulled the picture off the wall as instructed, and both strips plus a chunk of plaster came off with it.

Now we don’t have pictures on the wall, and have a section of wall we have to patch. Ugh!!.

First time of ever using these and was very skeptical. Ive only ever used traditional picture hooks or wall pins before. Easy to follow instructions and worked first time. Ive used these in a bathroom and the moisture hasnt stopped these working even after over a year.

The frames I tested with werent in a straight line but Im guessing these would be easier to get in a straight line than the traditional hooks. Ill be buying these again it saves me making millions of holes in the wall when I put them in the wrong place.

Excellent for my purpose, once I learned how to use it. I wanted to overlay a corrected copy over one with errors. At first, was stymied. How do I free both sides of double-sided tape? Simple. Make sure both sheets are the same size.

Place patches of double-sided tape around top sheet. Place the sheet flat and work around sheet, using thumbnail of left hand to free upper-layer of tape covering. Carefully place bottom edges of top sheet over bottom sheet.

Once lined up, let the top sheet fall forward and it should line up perfectly. With practice, you’ll get the hang of it. I did, and it was easy, but time consuming. It takes patience.

I bought this tape to attach my watercolor paintings to the backing mats to sell at fine art fairs. The tape is easy to apply, strong enough to hold the paintings securely and, best of all, easy to peel.

Does exactly what it needs to do but it is a little awkward to get the backing tape off of the second side of the tape. Compared to other similar products which don’t put the protective film on the back side of the tape it’s an okay product.

There are a couple of things you need to be aware of when using this product: 1. Removing the backing is tricky. Running the teeth of a comb diagonally along the corner of the tape works although you might need tweezers to finish.

2. This stuff is seriously sticky. It sticks to scissors making cutting difficult. If you put just a tiny drop of oil on your scissor blades before cutting you can solve this problem.

I bought this for a project and sad to say but they did not hold up, and I used the whole role for extra hold! I gave a few stars because I realize maybe my material was too porous, but it clearly states on the package that it’s good for all types of material and up to 20lbs weight.

My wood letters were maybe about 10 oz. The foam mounting tape works way better and I wish I went with my gut and bought that instead.

These removable strips all strips are amazing! In point I have used thave you stemmed for a year now to hang my paintings at art shows and they are the best Way to display photographs and paintinngs in different settings!.

These are really great for my dorm and my studio space on campus. They don’t even disturb the thinner paint on the walls

Yes. I said crafting! I needed double sided tape for a project. This tape was inexpensive and worked better than those other more expensive double sided tapes. Excellent value, excellent quality.

I am a single Senior citizen. I needed to connect my dryer duct hose to the dryer. It’s in a very hard to reach, inconvenient location. The lip doesn’t give you much room to secure the hose on. So, I use the double-sided duct tape and wrapped it around the duct and secured the hose on it and it works like a charm.
