I did a lot of shopping and comparisons of bags and I love the layout of this, the fact that I can have my hand tools on one side and my multi meter and manometer separate on the other. great for every day service.

Good quality and comes with a great warranty but the prices are high, I got the mc, (the lowest priced) the mct is like $30 more and has a couple outside pockets, which would be nice. The larger models are too expensive for my taste.

I wish mine was slightly taller to fit a larger crescent wrench and channel locks for busting gas unions but all around a great little bag that will last.

Heavier than I expected but super tough. Very happy with it. I live through the day with it by my side holding laptop and all the things I need at work. It’s fantastic.

I am a all around DIY Kind of person. I do not work professionally as a technician. I have been through so many different kinds of tool bags and boxes and was never very happy with any of them. I absolutely love this one!! It solves a lot of problems and the MC bag was perfect size bag for me.

If you have a lot of larger tools that you wish to carry with you you should look at one of their larger options.

Bought this to replace an old ‘hard’ tool box for my electrical tools. I’m an avid diy and like to keep all tools for electrical/ plumbing together so when I have something to fix I don’t have to go searching.

Very heavy duty and it will take a little while to break in as the material is clearly made to last. Solid zippers. Bought another smaller version to keep al my rotozip parts together as that didn’t come with a case.

It is of the same HD quality.

This bag is very functional and roomy. I bought it for my gun cleaning bag/kit. The one I usually get for this is no longer available but this was a good second choice!

Beautiful, beautiful – piece of kit. This item is generally bought to support the brand name DeWalt. From the outside, much praise goes out to this bag as the colour scheme is much more discreet than other competitors.

The Flap of the front pouch has a zippered compartment and two pouches – these make for a very organised admin section of the bag, for the storage of things like pens, invoices, note pads. The inner part of the front flap has mesh netting with two pockets that are ideal for storage of bit sets, thus offering innovative storage possibilities.

Storing sharp objects in the mesh netting will only damage the bag and diminish its functionality. It is a backpack – the main compartment opens up very wide, so it is more than likely that this bag is set up to be a job specific bag, to store parts and accessories needed to complete certain or small jobs.

The tool compartments in the main section of the pack is almost identical to the front pouch area for tool storage, as the bag is now conveniently set up for redundancy – which more often than not leads to efficiency for intelligent tradespeople.

This bag is practically a tool belt for the back. Another feature worthy of mention is the built in work light. It is peace of mind to know that there will be an opportunity for some light. The light is adequate and is something else which will need maintenance and some extra care to make it last to its maximum potential.

But it is very much appreciated how at least the bag has an inbuilt option for some light. Most people don’t know that there is a light on the bag unless they know about this feature or until they see it being used, which is great – the light is covert an well integrated.

The only drawbacks i can come up with are the following: – it could stand to be five to six inches taller. – instead of tapering off at the mouth/opening. I would not mind if the overall bag was generally more rectangular.

– thicker shoulder padding should be included as a removable feature. – some molle attachment points would be nice, so that things such as saw blades can be stored separately – there is no hydration bladder storage section.

– lastly, if a belt strap could be integrated and hidden away, like in some adventure backpacks, this would definitely be up there as a Rolls Royce of backpack style tool bags. Overall all – this bag will suit some more than others.

Still, one can never have enough bags at the worst of times and this one is of higher quality, made by a brand with a good reputation.

I sourced this type of bag to use as my Railroad grip. The pockets fit both of my phones, reverser, pens, flashlights, time book and many other small items I carry. Outside zipper pocket holds my train documents, the pockets on the back are good for gloves, vest and the erg book.

Inside I can fit my lunch, a few drink cans and snacks. A side pocket holds my day/night safety glasses. Theres easily room to still pack a change of clothes and toiletry but I just use this as my local bag.

Only had it for a few weeks but so far so good. I do maintenance work so I’m happy with the amount of storage for the size of the bag. I can fit all the hand tools I typically need as well as my drill & impact and accessories.

It fits enough stuff that it can get pretty chunky so I’m glad it has a shoulder strap when I have to carry it for a decent distance and it also frees up my hands. As long as the build quality holds up ( zippers, pockets etc ) I definitely consider it a good purchase.

Amazing toolbag!! Especially with the light feature!! It really does light up the tool bag I can now find the tools easily. It’s got good handles so easy to lift when loaded with hand drills etc and it has plenty of pockets to hold nik naks tapes , drill bits etc.

If youre a fan of Dewalt youll justify this purchase but its really a bag with a light, if you regularly work in the dark over winter its probably a justifiable upgrade as the light doubles as a light inside the bag so you can see what tool you need or flips so you can shine it where youre working, its not going to replace your rechargeable head torch or site lamp by any stretch.

At this price Id recommend getting a dewalt dcl050 lamp for 40 and DWST82991 for 50 the lights better and the bags bigger.

Bought it it store and transport my EV charging cables from the car boot to the charing port, so although not it’s intended purpose, the bag is perfect for what I need. If I were to use it as a tool bag, I think it’d be perfect as it’s got a removable interior insert and the bag has lots of pockets, pouches and clips for assorted “stuff”.

It also feels really good quality and has a plastic base, so it’s sturdy and stands up on it’s own. The handle unclips to allow you to load bulky items in the bag without the handle getting in the way.

Pretty much just the job for it’s intended purpose, and also for other uses too!.

WHY make the elastic strapping inside so loose? It wont hold anything upright. At least 4 outer pockets are too tight and unusable. The central divider falls over unless its wedged tight against other tools.

Theres absolutely no chance of keeping things organised let alone holding a hammer in place. Its a good maybe for the weekend DIYer and cheap enough. If youre Trade forget it !.

If you are looking for a tote bag thats not to big this is perfect. I was sick of lugging my big tote around so i got this to condense my tools. Still holds a massive amount, with all the side pouches and internal webbing.

I am using one side to carry my tools and the other for impact driver and drill. So plenty of room.

Smaller than expected. Currently have the Stanley tote but doesn’t have enough sections. This is ideal for my hand total for site. Highly recommend this bag

Lots of useful pockets, good strap & carry handle. Concealed pocket in base is useful. Only downside was bag was smaller than I expected.

I bought this to carry smaller hand tools. The bag is a little larger than I expected but it is great quality and has lots of pockets/straps to secure small hand tools as well as a large central compartment that can hold my drill and reciprocating saw.

Well made and well designed.

Bought one in london. Checked it on a break and found one of the poppers for the central divider was broken. Stopped into my local store and got it changed with no problem. Only problem I find is the pockets inside at the bottom below the tool loops are a bit tight to put the ends of your tools in correctly so most are just using the loops and not secured at the bottom.

Still works though and was a good purchase.

This bag not only look strong. it feels strong. Strong zips! Strong handle! Strong everything! And a compartment for everything! I love this bag. even though the price is a bit steep. Ive spent loads on cheaper brands.

but dont think Ill ever need to buy another. unless its another veto to at to the collection.

Simply the best tool bag you can buy on the market today. Sublime build quality really well thought out design. It looks and feels like it will last a lifetime. You tube have plenty of excellent video reviews so you can get a good idea of how good these bags are.

Yes 195 is a lot for a bag but its simply outstanding and the mrs can spend 400 on a tiny handbag then i can have this.

For the longest time I thought that my wife was going to be the only one carrying around bags that cost over $200. 00 but I made the plunge. Wow what a great Tech bag! The Tech XL is laid out extremely well, has lots of pockets and is built very rugged.

Now if my wife could just get used to the fact that I going to keep bringing this thing out on our dinner dates!.

So I purchased this as an update to my regularly used toolbag. which was actually the bag that my Milwaukee Circular Saw came with. I really needed something bigger as I typically lug around a bunch of small hand tools, together with an impact and hammer drill, hammer, and a couple of bit/drill sets.

Whilst I can now easily fit everything into the bag (it’s a heavy lift though!) the biggest issue I have is the complete lack of any form of internal organizational features which is needed for a container of this size.

Apart from one side with a few spaces for my most used drivers, everything else has to just lay ‘flat’ in the bottom of the bag. necessitating the heavier items to be placed on the bottom. This is a real problem at jobsites as just pulling out a small screwdriver for a quick fix usually requires me to empty out a significant portion of tools just to access anything that may have worked it’s way down the bag; and forget trying to find something small like a spare screw or wall anchor.

I also carry a wallboard saw with me, which I can’t place in the bag as there’s no reinforced place to put such an item where it wouldn’t either eventually damage the bag or be a cut hazard when fumbling around for other tools.

It’s a real shame they didn’t seem to do much field testing or speak to professionals about the needs before designing this. seems like a lost opportunity here. A big empty cavernous space of a bag is useless without some form of organizational system to compartmentalize items for more effective storage.

I’m sure Milwaukee could fix this by selling some sort of insert that would allow tools to be strapped to it and better use the vertical space. but likely they will try and sell each for $20 and so you end up with a VERY expensive solution compared to similar products out there made by other brands that seem more contractor minded.

It’s a shame – most of my tools are Milwaukee brand and I like the consistency of having most items by the same company. It’s also great free advertising to Milwaukee having contractors and installers out there turning up to job sites with Milwaukee branded bags and using Milwaukee Tools.

Unfortunately, my customers probably won’t notice now as I’ll be switching out to a different brand bag as this one just can’t do the job it’s designed for.

I use the tech bag on a daily basis. The outer zipper pocket is large enough to hold all of my putty knives, chisels, punches, and hex key sets. I bought it primarily because of the molded outer side pocket to hold my multimeter and safety glasses, which it does just fine and hasn’t been crushed yet.

The large inner pocket does is good sized, holding all of my screwdrivers, pliers, and a few adjustable wrenches. It’s large enough to hold a drill, impact, and charger, but it gets a bit uncomfortable to carry longer distances with only the one shoulder strap when completely loaded down – I normally leave my drill set in it’s case.

Material is definitely high quality and has held up to moderate abuse. The only complaint I have is that with the front pocket loaded without the main compartment fully loaded the bag will tip over. Usually the elastic webbing holds all of my tools in place, unless it tips and then rolls down the stairs.

Overall, a good bag (most reviews have been for the backpack – this is for the Tech Bag) and I would buy it again.

It has enough room to store most of my hand tools. It’s heavy enough as is, I’m not carrying power tools in it. Seriously, what professional is carrying a laptop in a tool bag??? Don’t eliminate the pocket though, very useful.

Downside: Interior collapses; it would be better to have a rigid structure or support. The time I spend in this tool bag is holding it open to find whatever. It would be better with something to maintain it’s actual shape.

I’ve considered welding a 1″ tall steel rectangle to affix to the top of the bag, but I feel it’s Milwaukee’s job to up the stakes. Zippered pouch on top flap; if your flap is open and pouch un-zippered, everything falls to the floor.

Maybe make it a side zipper. Then, either way the flap goes, it highly reduces the need for cleanup. Sidenote: I’m secretly hoping Milwaukee will contact me to test their products & give them feedback.

Inital impressions of this bag were great, lots of compartments for various tools and equipment, seemed sturdy and all that. Couldn’t complain. Then a few months into use (like mentioned in a lot of other reviews here), the zips started failing.

This bag would have been used everyday but not for heavy loads or in “rough” environment. Mainly used in a variety of clean workshop environments, so it’s not as if it was being treated roughly. I would be very slow to buy another one.

Other cases that I’ve seen don’t have the features that this one as, but they also don’t have reviews of the zip failing after a few months.

This was bought as an auxiliary tool-bag with the intention of reducing weight on a variety of job sites – primarily aircraft, electrical and/or domestic DIY situations. For this, the CK Magma is almost ideal (nothing is ever 100%), with one of the drop-down sides good for electrical tooling, the other for mechanical fasteners and the centre section for a multi-meter, power tools, batteries & specific-to-task tooling.

Just remember that the trick with a tool storage system like this is to FILL EVERY SPACE with a tool or bit or something appropriate. That way, you have an instant, visual indication (“Shadow Boarding”), that all your tools have been removed from the job at hand, on completion.

This is particularly relevant in aeronautical engineering endeavours, as may be imagined. !.

The concept is good, paperwork/laptop (I used magma zipped folder) stores easily in the middle and tools on external zipped sides. If you need to carry bulky tools forget it, this is suitable for screwdrivers, snips, spanners etc.

Even pipeslice are borderline ‘too bulky’ and if you ram it full of tools you’ll burst the zips very easily. I used it for 6 months before binning it. Also the zip has burst off my magma paperwork folder, which is nippy, so either I’m not delicate enough or the zips are not strong enough for work tasks.

I’ll be buying a different ‘less glossy’ brand next time which might be more robust.

Amateur bike mechanic with a collection of specialty tools which aren’t used every day but which I want to keep together. The bag is roomy, seems sturdily built and should work well for the occasional use I will make of it.

It opens wide and a wire frame helps keep it open so you can find what you need inside. The zippers–as someone else noted–are a minor pain, requiring two hands to close. Also, all the little pockets on the outside and inside are very tight so tools don’t go in easily.

On the other hand, they don’t fall out either. The pockets would probably work well for smallish pointy things like screwdrivers, chisels, punches and the like. Really 4 and a half stars. would buy again.

The price and the quality are about the only good thing about this bag. Don’t be fooled by all of the pockets. The pockets are ridiculously small. I couldn’t hold any tools in these small pockets. The overall size (Length) is nice but width seemed to small.

If they redesigned this with bigger pockets that can actually hold something then I would give it a better rating.

It’s great bag with plenty of outside and inside pockets for your tools. They thought that part out. The material used is thick and very durable, same as some pricier bags. The one thing I really hate, is that they put the strap metal loops/hooks on opposite corners of the bag leaving it feel awkward when loaded with tools and carrying.

That should have been better thought out. And the strap could use some soft padding which it does not, leaving your shoulder hurting or sore. I added my own shoulder pad from the bag I replaced in order to save my shoulder.

Makes and excellent tool bag. I keep it behind my passenger seat with my jack and tire iron. Functionally it is a bit smaller than a shoebox, I don’t know why but I was expecting it to be bigger. That being said for what I need it holds all my simple tools.

A full set of screwdrivers, a set of small metric wrenches, a small and medium size crescent wrench, pliers and wire cutters, a battery terminal tool, my continuity tester for checking fuses, a set of picks, a small led flashlight, and a utility knife all in the main compartment.

Why don’t I use the side compartments to store any of that? Maybe organize it a bit? I’m glad you asked. The snaps are awful. I mean they are certainly secure, because they are extremely stiff. Lots of stuff made overseas has what I would refer to as an extra tight finish.

They use prefabricated generic parts that fit perfectly fine until they get painted or plated for cosmetics and they become out of spec and either fit way too tight or not at all. That being said its not a huge loss for me, there isn’t much space in those pockets for tools anyways but I am a packrat so it may fit your needs.

I also don’t use the tool organizer inside, None of my tools really fit in them without jutting out of the top of the bag and they are pretty small in size. I imagine most screwdriver handles would be too big to fit.

If you use it as a range bag I’m sure some bore brushes would fit fine, definitely rolled up swatches. Little bits and bobs. Don’t expect to be organizing standard size tools in them. That being said, I love this bag for what it is and the price I paid.

Short of filling it with lead I don’t think it would break on you. I have sensitive skin and unlike some other bags and fabrics items I have bought I didn’t get a weird rash from handling this before cleaning it.

It did smell weird, other people have mentioned that as well. The zipper is sturdy. As I mentioned before it is not very big which I was looking for at the time but now I would buy it again for that reason, it stows away nicely in tight spaces even when filled as long as it isn’t way overstuffed.

Buy one if it comes up again.

I have one of these with a Bosch driver and bits, with other associated tools like a small vise grip plier, a small crescent wrench, a collapsible magnet wand, box cutter, flashlight, charger, etc. Another one holds all my 18650 style lights, batteries (in cases) and chargers.

If the power goes out they are readily at hand. Another one holds shoe polishing supplies. Horsehair brushes in fitted tins, dauber brushes, conditioners, saddle soap, cloths and cream and wax polishes and edge dressings.

A piece of medium fine grit sandpaper for sole edges. There are categories of tool or task that lend themselves well to a bag such as this one. I have toolboxes with more space for general portable use but no need to lug one of those when what I need is a bit driver with its accessories.

This bag is a great size for those common jobs with that common tool. Considering a couple more for other uses needing the same limited size, portability and protection of other tools and supplies for other common jobs.

material is great, construction great and use is proving the bags good for the things I use them for. I’d buy them again and probably will.

Got this product for my daughter’s new dachshund puppy and she loves it!! She uses this bag as an overnight bag for him and it’s perfect. When she travels out of town with her puppy, she can pack his overnight bag as well.

Has lots of space for his food, toys, and snacks, etc.

This bag is basic. With the profit being made on these mass produced Chinese bags you would think they could include more pockets in and out. It’s a bit odd to see the cooler bag has more storage options on it.

The Milwaukee advertising department deserves allot of credit. They created a designer tool company that rivals the fashion industry. No doubt Milwaukee brushless tools have set the bar but the prices for the pack-out bags are ridiculous.

This is basic $25 bag at best. I returned mine and will be waiting for a deep discount to pop up. Background: Worked in general contracting, Graphic Designer, Avid DIY, car repair, carpentry, finish work, tilling, plumbing.

This tool bag is very ideal for an electrician. It has enough pockets inside and out to organise tools and electrical accessories. It also has zip pockets which come in handy. I have stored all the tools that I would use on a daily basis and I can now find them easily without rummaging through like I did with my previous tool box.

The bag is very sturdy and easy to carry. I have come across reviews which read that the pockets are too shallow and some have lost tools because of it falling out. I wouldn’t recommend storing larger tools like wrenches, large screwdrivers etc in the outside pockets.

I have used the outside pockets for smaller tools like pliers, Stanley knives and generally small to medium items – they fit in perfectly and are secure enough for them not to fall out. (Moral of the story, don’t store larger tools in the outside pockets otherwise they may fall out and/or you may end up losing them) Overall, I’m very glad that I invested in this.

Having my tools organised has made life much easier.

This bag is fantastic value for money, I like the build quality of it, which has that well put together Stanley feel about it. The size is good, in that when you load it, you can pick it up, (sometimes you can have too much space), in these tool bags! What I don’t like about it, is that the external pockets are way too small for certain stuff, especially spray cans for example, you can’t get them into the pockets, they just not wide or deep enough for certain stuff.

IMHO, it would be better to have less external pockets and more capacity per each one and one with a zip compartment. Other then that, it is a great bag and happy with the purchase.

Had a few of these over the years and I’m always happy to buy a new one. They’re a good size without being bulky to carry. It fits all my regularly used hand tools, including a 400mm box level, toolbox saw and my combi and impact.

Although the zip doesn’t do up once the latter two are in there but i can live with that. There’s a fair amount of pockets around the outside for screwdrivers, spanner’s, pencils etc and enough pockets inside to keep smaller items separated and findable.

The fabric is really strong, I’ve had the occasional chisel poke through butvthatsvmore down to my careless packing away. Can’t really comment on the shoulder strap as I don’t like them and always take it off straight away.

The plastic base means I can set it down outside without worrying about dampbtransfering to the tools. It also stops the bottom from becoming saggy when laden with weight. it’s the little things. All in all a great bag at a great price, I’ve never had to replace one for failure, Jill.

Bought this mainly for those little jobs that don’t require many tools, or just require basic tools that I can quickly load up from my tool box in the van without ever needing to bring the whole box.

In the end i actually bought extra tools for this bag and now use it as a grab bag straight from my van. It’s an amazingly well built sturdy bag. It holds the tools well and has plenty of organisation.

I would definitely recommend this bag, especially as a grab bag for small jobs.

I bought this bag to be used along side another bag at work. I am a maintenance guy and have 1 bag for hand tools and the other for battery operated tools. The other bag is also a Stanley fatmax (29667) The Stanley tool bag is awesome.

It’s a really nice size and can fit lots of things inside. In mine I have a bosch battery combo drill, Bosch battery multi tool and sometimes the Bosch battery hoover. The Bosch battery’s fit perfectly in the inner pockets and there is a useful inner zip pocket for pozi ends etc.

My only concern is the shoulder strap attachment points. I am aware of the weight inside the bag however the shoulder strap attachment points look like they are being tested. I have only had the bag a week or two so only time will tell if the attachments last.

Apart from this it is a great bag and would recommend it.
