20 Best Teeth Whitening Mouthwash (2022 Updated)

This product stained my teeth brown and this was told to me today by my dentist. Faithfully brush with Oral B electric toothbrush and floss at twice per day and visit dentist for exam and cleaning twice per year.

Started using Crest Pro-Health Advantage Mouthwash about 6 months ago and my teeth started to turn brown. Never made the connection to this junk as the cause until I met with my dentist today and the minute I listed the dental hygiene products I use she instantly identified the Crest mouthwash as the cause and told me many other of her patients have had the same nasty side-effect.

Today’s cleaning did not fully resolve the staining and I am now scheduled for a whitening appointment…one can only hope. Proctor and Gamble should be ashamed of themselves for knowingly selling a cosmetically harmful product.

Anybody that wants a bunch for free and a 5 pack of Crest Pro-Health toothpaste is welcome to the contents of my garbage container!.

I’ve switched over to Equate, as I do like this mouthwash, but I find no difference but price. This is a good product. No doubt about it, and it’s fresh minty scent probably lasts longer. Yet paying $3 more for a bottle of this, I’ll stick with the store brand.

Right now in this era of inflation, one must choose wisely. Mouthwash isn’t an essential, but it does keep your breath and teeth in better overall condition. Crest is a trusted brand. Yet look at the ingredient lists.

You’ll notice all are relatively the same. This is if you can afford it solid. I must say that it definitely is the strongest. If you need an extra eye opener in the morning, by all means gargle this.

Yet while it’s effective, consider your options. I like this one, and if I can get a coupon, this could be bought again. Yet until then it’s generic time.

I got this product free from #topbox and Crest in return for my honest opinion. I used this alcohol free mouthwash for over 10 days before writing this review. The good part is I love the taste and how it gives a fresh feeling after use.

Love that its alcohol free and so I also had my daughter use it. She didn’t complain of the burning too much. Great size of the bottle and great for a big family. The only one thing I’m a bit worried about is the teeth staining.

I read the label at the back but I didn’t expect my teeth to start staining. After using just over a week I felt a light staining on my lower teeth and so I discontinued the use for now. I will give it another try after a few days to see if its the main casue of the staining or something else.

My teeth were whiter when using but I also developed some sensitivity. The biggest thing was my gums and cheek started to peel. As if it had eaten away at some layers of skin. Very scary! But it was like a film coming off like green bean skin or really thin onion skin….

Maybe even compare it to thin layer from warmed up milk. Not to frightening but not normal so to me scary. My gums also became sensitive. This was my claim years ago and now as I’ve tried it again this week.

Maybe I’m just allergic to the formula. But personally I would not recommend this. Everyone is different you can try for yourself. I’d say if you have sensitive teeth or gums don’t do it. If you want to try something try from followed by or if that’s too much try an or followed by if you are ok with fluoride.

This is a massive bottle – and it is full to the brim. My advice is to hold it with as little pressure as possible when you open it first time, over the basin. It came flooding out when I opened it, like a mini tsunami! I hand minty hands all day! I’m not complaining because actually all products should be full – not half full packets like almost all of them are.

As for it’s taste, it’s not my favourite mouthwash, the taste is too gentle for me but it has a stronger after taste to the tip of the tongue which is unusual, and which I liked. If you like your mouthwash gentle this is for you but it’s not for people who want a bit of eye watering strength like I do.

Superb value for money none the less.

I really thought this would add some ‘oomph’ to my whitening routine. I am a faithful coffee drinker. Multiple cups a day so I need something that is really gonna tackle those stains, in conjunction with my toothpaste.

I find it doesn’t really aid in whitening but it does do a phenomenal job in ensuring my breath is fresh. It’s got bite to it because of the alcohol, but not awful like others. Try it for the breath benefit’s if anything!.

I love this mouthwash! I use it everyday and constantly get told how white my teeth are. I only use a little bit because it foams in your mouth. Not only does it help whiten your teeth it protects teeth from staining as well.

The taste is minty but not too much where it burns. I also love how it’s alcohol free so it doesn’t dry out your mouth. I’m in the dental field and recommend this to all my patients over abrasive whitening toothpastes.

I didn’t use for very long as the taste of this was so off putting, it didn’t have that freshness like others I had used

I received this yesterday used it last night. NEVER AGAIN! I don’t care if it makes my teeth so white, they glow in the dark like Ross Gellar’s (Yall know that episode, right?)! A mouthwash should taste like mint, cinnamon, or even fruit or bubble gum.

It should NEVER taste like colonoscopy prep! (Actually, I’ve had multiple colonoscopies, each with a different prep. This tastes like the old school thick, chalky, bitter white stuff they give you what seems like a 10 gallon jug of!) I had to fight back being sick while using this! I had to thoroughly rinse my mouth with water then a very strong winter green mouthwash (another brand) afterwards but I still had that taste in my mouth! In fact, I talked to my mom afterwards she could smell it! She couldn’t even smell the other mouthwash or toothpaste, just this – it nauseated her too! I will not be using it again!.

I love how my mouth feels using these products. They do not dry me out, working with my saliva instead of against it. No fear from swallowing a little because the ingredients are all natural.

So far I am a fan of the extreme whitening mouthwash. I love that it is actually workimg but without chemicals. The taste is mild and pleasant.

Mouthwash is clean and minty! After rinsing my mouth feels clean and teeth feels smooth! Teeth actually look cleaner and whiter!

I have been using whitening rinse for several years and have a routine. Floss my teeth after dinner, use the whitening rinse, keep it on for an hour or two before brushing my teeth at bedtime (not eating or drinking after I use the whitening rinse).

It works SO WELL. I have received many compliments on how white my teeth are and this is literally the only product I use for whitening. My toothpaste is not a whitening toothpaste. I highly recommend Crest whitening products.

Crest’s 3D whitening glam white mouthwash has no alcohol in it, so you don’t feel the normal burn you do with most mouthwashes containing alcohol. It advertises being a triple action formula that freshens breath, removes surface stains, and protects from future stains thus whitening your teeth.

While overall, the mouthwash was pleasant to use and tasted decent, i don’t believe it whitened my teeth very well. If it did it is a very subtle shift. However, it does keep your breath fresh, so that a win in my book.

The best mouthwash, for me, on the market. Really good for to keep your teeth white, there is fluor and is keeping gum healthy. I suggest this product to those that wants to keep healthy teeth

Gentle mouthwash that doesnt burn your mouth, and leaves it feeling clean and freshened.

Don’t like the Apple taste but it does the job. Nothing more to say about it! It’s just a normal mouthwash.

My favorite Whitening Toothpaste I love Colgate Optic White Whitening Toothpaste because it makes my mouth feel clean and minty, and keeps my teeth as white as they can be. For me, I am a smoker and I honestly don’t like the taste in my mouth after I smoke.

When I use Colgate Optic White Whitening Toothpaste I get fresher breath that lasts for a few hours. I get less staining on my teeth from my smoking and cola/coffee/tea drinking.

I think this stuff works really well. I love that it’s a peroxide formula, and it doesn’t make my teeth or gums sensitive. It seems to have an impact on the evidence of my coffee drinking habits. However, I have to knock one star off due to the flavor.

It’s not really bad at all (I’m a bit of a mint snob, so it might be just me and personal preference), but I definitely prefer the Crest Whitening rinse over this, for the flavor alone.

This stuff is AMAZING for dry hands, feet, and lips! It’s way more effective than petroleum alone in that with the lanolin it is super thick and heavy, but absorbs quickly. Yes, it’s greasy, but petroleum and lanolin is a naturally greasy substance folks, so why wouldn’t it be greasy? There’s nothing wrong with greasiness, it’s fine, and it’s so worth it.

As for the smell, so many people said this has a “medicinal” aroma but I’m not getting that at all. Some have said that this smells like sheep, and yes, that’s really the best way to describe the smell, it does smell like sheep, but that only makes sense because lanolin comes from sheep’s wool, so if anything it’s reassuring that the ingredients in Bag Balm are pure! I personally call it “The Barnyard Smell” – maybe it helps that I’ve been around cows and sheep before so I’m familiar with that smell, so I do not mind it! Pairing this with the whitening toothpaste I have noticed a huge change in the shade of my teeth, they are so much whiter. This is a daily essential for me now and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to whiten their teeth gently.

I grabbed this after realizing my current mouthwash doesn’t have Hydrogen Peroxide (The only ingredient to help your teeth get whiter) I’m on my 2nd bottle and I definitely feel that it works better than your supermarket mouthwash.
