20 Best Tempurpedic Dog Bed (2022 Updated)

The bed comes rolled up in an air tight plastic. Once you open it up, it takes a bit to fully expand. It’s lumpy at first but all evens out eventually (few hours). It has a removable cover. It’s soft but not so much that he sinks to the floor so it’s a bit firm.

When I first laid out the bed for my fur baby, he showed no interest of even getting on it. This surprised me because he usually takes to things that are his immediately. Once he realized it was cozy and all his, he curled up and he fell right to sleep! I think he approved!.

Can’t say too much yet as our dog won’t be coming home from the breeder for another 1 ½ weeks. I did want to let you know though, that unlike some reviews, from the completely flat airless shipping condition, this mat immediately started inflating as soon as it was taken out of it’s vacuum packed plastic packaging.

Took about a day and ½ or 2, to completely inflate to a seriously comfy, firm pad that entirely molds to a body laying on it. It’s JUST like my tempur Pedic mattress!! LOVE IT. Now, that said, the caveat: No dog yet.

Don’t know how it will stand up to a 60 lb Bernedoodle when full grown, or his pee. I hope to let you know within about 6 months. So far, I’m excited for his new bed. we’ll see. TBC.

I purchased 3 of these when they were on sale earlier this year. They have all held up pretty well until one day my girl got bored and gnawed off the zipper on one of them. I reached out to Brindle’s customer service to purchase a replacement cover because the bed was well outside of their warranty period and was informed they do not sell replacement covers.

Any dog or cat owner can attest to the importance of being able to replace a cover as opposed to an entire bed when your kid reeeaallly likes the bed. I can get a cover from another company, but you risk it not fitting properly.

For this reason alone I would not recommend their beds even though my girl really loves them and they are very comfortable (sometimes we sit on them together ).

Probably the first evidence of the value of my new Casper Dog Bed was that within a month, I felt so guilty that my silver Labrador retriever’s new Casper bed was not in our bedroom so he could enjoy his obvious comfort throughout the entire night, that I ordered a second one to give him the ultimate in comfort all day and all night when he chose to relax.

It was quickly obvious that it was the right decision, for precisely at “our” anointed bedtime, he no longer waits for me to head into our bedroom, but gets up from Casper bed #1 and stands in front of me until I stand up in response, then leads me to our bedroom and he jumps onto his nighttime Casper bed.

He knows without doubt where the best place for him to sleep is. But the most amusing action I get to watch every night is he pulls his large cozy blanket off his Casper bed, then goes to the center of the bed and digs down as if he his digging a hole in dirt while he twirls around until he has made a cozy divet to then circle around until he cozys up in the middle! Whatever material is placed in the underlayers of the bed as described certainly have the right effect to attract him to dig around in until making it a cozy place to sleep.

And surprisingly, after all of that digging on the material, no scratches or holes! Amazing!! I recommend this dog bed for any pet parent who wants to provide the ultimate dog comfort that will immediately be verified by just watching how much he/she enjoys being there.

Our soft coated wheaten terrier (27 pounds, medium size bed) loves her new bed! The bed itself was easy to assemble – even though the sides looked a bit too long for the shape of the fabric outer sleeve at first glance.

It took less than 5 minutes to completely put together, and the pup jumped up and immediately tucked herself in for the night. She is light enough to barely depress the cushioning of the mattress, and there is plenty of space for her to choose a spot for the night.

We chose the “sand” color, which is a perfect neutral tone for our space. The only minor consideration we have is that the light outer top does show small stains pretty clearly, as our dog likes to lick herself periodically through the night, and the remnants of her saliva are visible as small spot stains on the fabric.

It’s really not a huge issue. Otherwise, our dog loves stretching out on her bed and has some of the most uninterrupted sleep sessions that we have seen for her. The quality of the material is really fantastic and we can see this lasting quite a while.

I was given this as a gift, and the cover didn’t last six months before pilling up terribly. By about one year, it had a hole in it (because the pilling made it so thin). Our friend who gave it to us was so surprised, as her cover has lasted for years.

We have been very careful with it, our dog doesn’t dig in it at all, and we have followed washing instructions and haven’t over-washed it. Because it was a gift, I was not able to get a replacement cover.

So have ended up spending another $85 to replace the cover. Fingers crossed that one was just a lemon and this one holds up longer. If it doesn’t, I will give up on the bed and use others that last longer.

This is too expensive to be of such poor quality. Our friend who gifted the bed was mortified–it was supposed to be such a generous gift and instead has been problematic.

I bought this Lux Premium Orthopedic Bolster Bed because my senior dog was no longer able to get on and off our couch-which he claimed as his many years ago. He had arthritis and it had gotten pretty bad the last month or so and he refused to use the ramp or the stair we got him.

The bed was SUPERB! The support it offered was top notch, my dog had no problem getting on and off and he fell in love with it right away. He was a 70lb dog and I bought the XL which I think was perfect as he had extra room.

We had measured our dog when he was sleeping before we decided on a size and he measured 36″ asleep lol. Unfortunately, he only got to enjoy the bad for about 36 hours as his time was so much closer than we had imagined.

I wish I would have bought this years before. I did put his favorite blanket down over the bed because I did not want his nails to put a hole in it getting on and off. Definitely worth the money!.

Nicely made quality dog bed. Outside fabric is similar to a lightweight canvas and is removable for washing. My older Cavalier is still getting used to it. The foam is more towards firm and he does not sink into it.

He does not like sinking into the bed because he gets too hot. I am pleased with this purchase.

A couple of issues with this for me: it is *extremely* firm, and the color is an ice blue versus gray. To be fair, if you look at the product photos, the main pic is either a different bed or the exposure is very light, and I didn’t look at the rest of the pics which are a good representation of the actual color (I repeat: blue) This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but the hard surface actually led me to put an old, somewhat flattened bed on top as a sort of cushioning layer.

Seems to defeat the purpose of having this bed at all, but since I managed a work around I won’t be going through the hassle of returning. Anyone who reads the word “orthopedic” and thinks memory foam like a human mattress, just be warned.

This is probably a good solid surface for older dogs who need to get their footing and balance when getting on/off the bed, but from a comfort standpoint, it’s not much different than the floor. That’s my own two cents, so maybe it helps and good luck in your search.

The “cooling” side of the mattress is a lie. I know how cooling mattresses looks like and yours just have the color but not a cooling layer. My dog is very hot in his new bed during hot days and sleeps on the floor.

Therefore, I feel cheated for having paid almost $50 for this bed. Also, the cover material is synthetic which naturally created heat and on top of a synthetic sponge creates a really too hot environment for my dog.

The material is slippery so my elderly dog can hardly get up. The only reason I gave two stars is that the shape and height are good. Still, sizes you provide are inadequate and not a reflection of dog needs which is strange when Furheaven is in this business.

My Yorki is a normal size. Yet, when I bought small which you recommend according to the size and weight chart as well as the sleeping area measurements you provided,he can fit well provided he is all the time in something like a fetus position and he doesn’t move much.

He cannot stretch or lie down in such a way so as to have at least an inch of space between himself and the sides of the bed. Dogs sometimes sleep in a stretched position and do need some extra space.

Dogs also move during the sleep, swirl around, wiggle. So I had to get him a medium size which is really too big for him and the space where we keep it in our apartment but I am happy he has some extra space.

Humans don’t sleep in beds which are exactly their size. Standard beds even if a twin size have some extra space on all four sides because nobody stays in one position during the night. Why would it be any different for dogs especially when it’s known that they sleep most of the time.

I don’t get it.

My 70# four legged friend needed a new bed. He has outgrown his old one, even though he still loved it. (His legs hung over the edge!) I have been shopping around for one I could afford that would fit his size and needs.

He loves the bolster, so I knew he needed one with that feature. When I saw these on sale and read the satisfied reviews, I decided to try it. After all, with Chewy’s return policy, it felt no risk. It came vacuum sealed in a small box yesterday.

The instructions say give it 48 hours to “fluff out” from being compressed. He took to it immediately and LOVES it. I left his old bed out also and he has decisively chosen the new one. The foam is firm but also has some give.

Only time will tell if it stays firm. The bolsters are a little short for a bed this size and the dog that will fill it, about 4″ tall. (this is why I dinged it one star. ) I will wait another 24 hours to see how much more they fluff and may add some more polyfill after that.

the seams look sturdy. I recommended this bed to my cousin for her senior pups and she bought two. I do agree with the advice to buy one size larger than you think you need. I did and at first thought it was too big, but my pup is starting to really stretch out on it and the smaller size would not have allowed that.

It really is a “sofa. “.

My dog is a fan of bolsters and soft things, so this bed has been perfect for him. The large size is a good fit for him (50lb ACD) and the bolsters are a Goldilocks height for him to sleep on comfortably, not too high or too low.

The cover is still in very good condition after 8 months of use. YMMV though as my dog doesn’t chew his beds and doesn’t have potty accidents, although he does ‘dig’ before bed occasionally. The inner foam looks like regular egg crate foam and hasn’t flattened, but is slowly losing little chunks (probably cuz of the aforementioned digging).

My only complaint so far is that I wish the cover was fur-proof, as my dog’s hair has slowly worked its way through the fabric and now the inner foam piece is fully impregnated with his fur and it’s impossible to remove.

Looks kinda gross but at least it doesn’t affect the foam’s function, so I haven’t replaced it yet. Will definitely buy the replacement covers & foam from FurHaven once they’re needed, this is my dog’s crate bed and he snores in it every night!.

We have bought every bed in the past 7 years from here for our large German Shepard. She loves her bed. The other human tried to get her a diffrent bed and she was not happy. Favorite covers since she sheds like crazy are the Balistic and the denims.

The canvas was good but the hair did not let go quite as easy. All three covers keep her cool and look amazing!!.

Perfect size for our 95 pound Golden Retriever. The outer fabric is denim and very durable and washable. Inner waterproof liner protects memory foam. Our dog is very rough on her beds. she likes to pick up and shake and toss her beds around.

This bed is heavy and not easily tossed. I think it will last her a long time. Very pleased with the purchase. It arrives in a small package because the memory foam expands upon opening.

After thinking too long, we decided to order the foam insert for our 9yo flat-coat. He has several beds from which to choose, and this has fast become his favorite. He is still very active and thankfully does not have any joint or mobility issues, and he loves this bed.

We had a ‘large(?)’ cover from a 15yo LLBean floppy dog bed and ordered the medium foam insert = a perfect fit (I did measure to be sure). We have a large ‘current rectangular style’ LLBean dog bed and throw the covered medium foam bed on top at night.

We live off-grid and have cement floors with in-floor heat, and wanted to be sure there would be enough padding and warmth for our ‘older’ boy in a northern Minnesota winter. During the day the covered foam bed is in our great room where we hang out.

We like the medium size because it’s easy to move around, yet still big enough for our 70# boy. This is a great purchase and we wish we would have ordered sooner.

I had this same mattress that my precious GS Duke slept on until his passing at age 14. Unfortunately, his late life losses of function had made the mattress unsuitable for another dog to use. The mattress was; however, still firm after so many years of holding a 120 pound sleeper.

Fortunately, the cover was in great shape after eight years of use, and washed up nicely. I bought the replacement mattress, and now my little GS fur baby Meadow has a nice bed to rest on when she’s not in her crate.

I bought another for her crate, and often find her in her crate just resting. This mattress is amazing, and sooooo good for shepherd bones. I highly recommend this mattress for your pup!.

Probably the best deep memory foam with egg crate top I’ve purchased. Fits perfectly into the cover I already have, even with an additional water-proof mattress cover I purchased to protect the insert.

I have a Weimaraner that is 12 years old now, with some arthritis issues, and he just loves it. I have the bed also on a 6″ height cot which helps him also in regards to getting on and off bed. Seems to have helped him a lot.

He has been using this for over 2 months now and the insert is holding up perfectly.

I ordered 2 of these beds for my pups Xmas gifts. I have an older lady- 12 years old this year and she needed a TRUE memory foam bed. My other pup is 2 but large for his breed and needed something easy on the joints.

I love these beds. the cover is removable/washable and my girl already had an accident on her and I was SUPER surprised and happy that when I unzipped the cover, I noticed the foam mattress was already lined with plastic! The reason for the low rating is because when I unzipped it, I also noticed a tear in the foam.

Im not sure if this will effect the integrity in the long run or not but she is already attached to the mattress so returning it is just not an option.

This bed feels very durable, and is highly stuffed so it seems to offer more support than I had expected. It fits nicely into corners also! Because of the fact that it’s a triangular shape (and possibly also because it’s so puffy), it appears smaller than I imagined (even though I was aware of the dimensions of the product).

Overall it’s a great dog bed, and my dogs highly recommend it!.

I am very impressed with the quality of this dog bed! The fabric is really substantial and the cushioning is, well-very cushy! The size is perfect too-it could hold a couple or three little pooches as well as a larger dog.

I like that it can tuck into a corner. Pup can be close by but not right underfoot. Really nice bed.

My first order was delivered but due to the incompetence of UPS and lack of giving a **** about their customers’ packages, my first delivery was stolen. I notified Paw. com and without any hesitation or long drawn out claim, they immediately sent out a whole new bed that I previously ordered but didn’t receive.

That alone just wowed me and made me feel actually valued as a customer. The product came rolled up in a long box. The foam pad mattress for the bed was easy to unroll and got to its full size within a couple hours of unboxing.

It’s genius that not only is the animal print cover easy to remove, but it has an underside with a bunch of rubber dots to help the bed from slipping. Now the actual top of the bed with animal print is actually made to look like real fur which I wasn’t even expecting.

The faux fur they put on it doesn’t even seem to shed an or lose fiber, and I’ve even been on the bed myself wearing black and still no shedding. The size of the tiger print mattress cover actually is close to the size of an actual tiger so it almost looks believeable.

I haven’t had to wash it as of yet but taking the cover off and putting it back on is super simple. I’m just going to make sure I read any washing and drying instructions beforehand. Another cool thing about this particular dog bed is that you are able to purchase other types of covers so you can change out the look or just have an extra cover while you are washing your other one.

BTW I don’t even have a dog, I ordered this bed for a mattress topper for my pullout couch and use it as that and a rug for the floor for when it’s a couch, and I sleep comfortably on the dog bed either on the pull out or floor.

So even human tested it gets two thumbs up from me. It really gives my studio some extra charm and character to it and is totally amazing if your a fan of tigers or tiger stripes!.

I spend a lot of money on dog beds. I currently have six, high end dog beds in the house. I have two of these and another on order. I’ve also just ordered my 2nd and 3rd king size blankets. While they may not be my dogs’ favorite beds, they are my favorites.

(my dogs prefer beds with bolsters). They are more stylish than most of our beds while offering a little more cushion than most mat type beds. Their selling point is that they are more stylish and therefore I’m comfortable placing them in many areas around the house that I wouldn’t likely put a larger dog BED.

It keeps the dogs closer to us and I don’t mind visitors seeing them. Their products seem genuinely well made. I’ve bought animal prints exclusively. Mostly because red dirt seems to discolor every thing that doesn’t have irregular or busy patterns.

They have held up well. I don’t notice paw prints or dog hair on them. They wash easily and getting the inserts in and out is easier than most of our beds. The minky-ish covers on the animal prints is shorter and seems to hold up better to washing without matting up than other similar products I’ve had with longer fibers.

I love the bed so much. It looks amazing and Vybz and Ruby do too. I bought two extra large dog beds and my Stella passed away on Christmas day. 🎄 when I look at the empty bed I think of her and how she never got to use it.

Honestly the best dog bed I’ve seen as yet. Ruby was on the human bed but she loves it too.

I bought this memory foam dog bed as a comfortable supportive cushion for me to sit on (I’m disabled and the more specialised items are frequently much more expensive, smaller in size and have harder covers).

This dog bed/cushion is perfect for my needs. It arrived rolled and I wondered if it would re-form itself fully (there’s a Use and Care instructions leaflet included that says it can take up to 24 hours to reform).

Within minutes it was reformed and ready to be used. The cover is soft and comfortable and the deep memory foam inner is very supportive. Being a dog owner, too, I know this product would be perfect for a small, older dog that needed a deeper more supportive bed to lay on.

With the removable cover it’s perfect for removing to wash off any dirty paw marks.

Bought this bed after reading many reviews. My 70 lb Golden Retirever/Lab cross has been using it for the last two months. She likes it a LOT better than the large, round beds you get at Pet Stores, or Costco.

Whereas she used to sleep on the sides of these beds as the stuffing seemed to move to the outer areas of the bed, leaving her, literally, on the floor in the middle of the bed. That won’t do for an active, agility sports-pooch.

Have to protect those bones & joints! The size of the bed is perfect for her. It provides the support she needs and she can lay any which way she wants without being in contact with a hardwood floor.

The Memory Foam provides the comfort while the foam pad underneath provides support. I like it too knowing she’s resting far more comfortably. Two paws up from Miss Sadie!.

As a ortho med bed , my device dog Nala just streaches out ,is very comfy. There is the right amt to cushion. It is helping tremendously with a rt muscle pull in her hip. Very happy with it. Best part: you can wash the cover and save money!.

This bed is exactly what I was looking for. My 16 year old 10 lb Jack Russell has very bad lumbar sacral disease and dementia. After a recent fall off our bed, we realized she needs to be sleeping in her own bed on the floor.

The round dog bed that she loves during the day was not going to work for nighttime sleeping. She was waking up very stiff after being curled in a ball all night. She is used to sleeping on a Tempurpedic mattress with us, so I wanted a memory foam mattress that she could stretch out on.

This bed (medium) is perfect for her. She has made the adjustment well, and I am sure the comfort has helped with the transition. (Some reviews indicated it is not completely waterproof, so I placed a puppy pad inside, between the bed and the removable cover.

It hasn’t been tested yet, but I think that will prevent any problems with the inner mattress getting wet if she has an accident. ).

I have bought 6 different beds in the past 2 years. I’ve been trying to find a nice bed for my senior boxer pit mix. She has hip issues and advanced staged arthritis. I’ve tried to find something that wasn’t outrageously expensive so I could replace them over time.

I eventually used the cover of a bed I had and bought a 4 inch memory foam topper to make her bed myself. It has finally wore out. Anyway this bed is the first one that I am really pleased with. I weight about 155 and I can stand on one leg in this bed and not feel the pressure from the floor.

I bought the size large and she has plenty of room. I really think this bed is a quality item. I was skeptical when I placed my order but I’m actually happy with it! If it goes flat in a few weeks I’ll update my review but it honestly seems like it’ll last a while.

The material of the cover is nice and has nice seams and zippers also.

By far the best bed I’ve found and I looked at many locally and on-line. It has 4” of real memory foam to help my aging, arthritic mutt and the cover is well made. My dog is not a digger or chewer so your results may vary.

The only negatives I have are minor, IMO. The material is a little rough to the touch but I put one of his blankets on top anyway. The sandstone color is supposed to be softer. My other ding is that I would have ordered a medium, if it was offered.

My guy weighs 28 pounds and he’s between the small and the large so I went with the large. It takes up more floor space than I envisioned but he clearly likes to be able to stretch out. With a previous dog I had bought several cheaper foam beds that would last a year and never survived washings.

This Petfusion bed will last and replacement covers are available if needed.

Cute and cleans well. Doesn’t tangle/mat the way some of the longer haired fabrics do. Pairs well on top of our much larger jute rug and looks like a cowhide overlay and not a dog bed. Wouldn’t at all recommend the others with longer hair/fur, but would Very much recommend this one.

A note About size – If your space will allow it buy the bigger size. It’s substantial And comfortable enough for human and kiddo and dog piles and is used often in movie nights.

We have 3 dogs 69-75 pounds and they all love it. I got the original size which is huge, but they all want to lay on it to chew their bones. and they can! I just washed it for the first time. It washed beautifully.

At first I thought it looked thin, but even when I sit on it I don’t feel the floor. I wish the faux cowhide was a bit softer to the touch but the dogs love it as it. I am ordering a second cover today.

I bought this product and I am very pleased with it. My Shiba likes to go on and off it whenever he feels like it. I actually called the manufacturer, it is designed to only give off heat when your doggie lays on the mat, you can test it by resting a pillow or your hand on it, it is not very warm to us humans but seem to be well liked by the doggie- but then dogs are not as warm as humans.

Also it important to note that the electric pad inside is only a rectangle piece that is 1/3 of the size of the pet bed. Surprisingly it is enough for the doggie. I have left it on 24/7 I feel this is a good product.

I liked that it came with a bed so I didnt have to worry about layers on top or below the heating pad to not burn my doggie. Highly recommend this product for winter and older dogs.

She loves it. My beloved is a six year old corgi who when a baby had a fractures pelvis when she lived on a farm. This is the first winter she has had a problem so after x-rays and medication I thought a warm bed would be perfect.

She does sleep in my bedroom. She is a special dog, we are Story Dog volunteers and once a week we go to Woolooware Primary School where the remedial reading children sit on the floor and read to her one on one.

Bed arrived as expected. Warms nicely. I bought this for the back of my truck which is set up with a cap and a regular bed. When it gets chilly I wanted to have something extra to keep the dog comfortable.

This fits the bill. Have not had it for long so can’t speak for longevity but works fine not.

I recently purchased two of the XL Big Barker beds. My husband & I do not have dogs ourselves, but both of our daughters have multiple dogs. Back in 2015, we first purchased a Big Barker for our oldest daughter who has a 125-pound black Lab.

Motley had started showing signs of joint problems at a young age. Our daughter was headed to vet school at the time, and had researched the best orthopedic beds available. She noticed an immediate difference in Motley’s mobility once he started sleeping on his Big Barker.

That alone made it worth the investment for us! Now, Motley is going on 12 years old and he still has the same Big Barker-it has been through our daughter’s vet school years, including multiple trips back & forth to home, multiple moves, and the addition of 3 more rescue dogs to the pack-and it still looks great! Our youngest daughter also has rescue dogs, one of which is a Great Dane/Lab mix, and we bought her a Big Barker several years ago.

Jepp is going on 10 years old and is living his best life, thanks in part to his Big Barker, which still looks great as well. My husband & I decided to purchase beds so our “granddogs” would have comfortable beds when they visit.

Before Big Barker, we had purchased many cheaper beds that either fell apart or were not supportive of the older dogs’ joints. We truly believe in Big Barker products-they are high-quality, durable and AMERICAN MADE, in addition to helping our family’s big dogs have a better quality of life! Make the investment-you won’t be disappointed.

Also, while I am reviewing, I highly recommend the waterproof liners. They protect the bed itself, but also make it really easy to remove the cover for washing.

I’m someone with a small room, and someone that spoils their dog. We’ve been through multiple dog beds that have ultimately deflated in the past three years. This big barker dog bed takes up a decent amount of floor space, and my shepherd/lab/dane mix was actually scared of this bed at first.

Why? Because it had actual substance to it. This mf dog has more support than my mattress does, and he seriously thought i bought it for myself, i could tell. This dog thought he was without a bed and was AFRAID (if you could imagine my fury) of his own bed.

It took this (angel) idiot TWO WEEKS to understand than it was for him and not me. My dog literally thought that i bought a second bed for MYSELF and felt guilty being on it, i wish i was kidding like i could tell and it drove me crazy.

Seriously though, i have a small room. I have to step on this bed to get out of my own bed, i have to walk across it to get to my desk, i have to walk across it to get to my TV and my closet (different directions).

If this bed were marketed for humans it would be stupid expensive, the craftsmanship is simply excellent. Since Hopper (my dog) got over his anxiety about the bed actually being meant for him, he sleeps here religiously.

I’ve admittedly been slacking on keeping his nails trimmed and the bed shows ZERO wear at ALL which is amazing to me since the fabric has a similar feel to suede. 10/10 would recommend and it’s made in the (best country in the world, suavamente, smile) USA.

If you’re on the fence F’n send it, this is not your average big box dog bed and your dog WILL notice the difference, so will you. This a premium product.

I have been coveting this bed for awhile now, so when I saw it on sale I immediately snapped it up. It’s a decent bed for the price I paid, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it. It’s very attractive, and it’s also oversized so it fits my dog easily.

Unfortunately, the insert isn’t anything to write home about, but I had a mattress topper in storage that I cut up for extra support. On its own, the insert would be okay but it probably wouldn’t hold its shape for a long time.

The outer shell is a soft fleece-type fabric, and it does attract hair, but I can live with that. What I found frustrating is that when I took the shell off to wash (by hand in the sink) I kept noticing a rust staining on one corner.

It turns out that the “Pendleton” logo patch leaks some sort of rusty color. So far it rinses off pretty easily, but that’s disappointing, especially on a white bed. It hasn’t dried yet, so hopefully the rust stain doesn’t return between my last rinse and a run through the dryer.

This is our 1. 5 year old PWD’s first real dog bed, and he’s thrilled. He’s 53 pounds and we got a large, which seems to be a perfect fit. The stuffing – which I didn’t take a close look at but appeared to be fluffy wool – produces a pleasing bounce and the whole thing seems very well made.

The colors are a bit brighter than shown in the photo, which I don’t mind at all. And while I was a little worried that the fleecy synthetic cover might look a little cheap in person, I don’t think it does, and I appreciate that it’s apparently going to hold up (including its color) for many years.

I have a wool Pendleton blanket and this looks nice with it, not cheap. I’ll also add this thing is more like 7-8″ high at some points, which I like – the insides are fluff, as I said, so it could kind of be mashed or molded to squeeze into certain dimensions like a smaller crate if needed.

The fluff doesn’t have a particular structure to it. So while the top and bottom seems are probably about 4″ apart, there’s a lot more filling in there, which could certainly be removed if for some reason a person wanted the whole thing to be only 4″ high.

It is a dark colored covering and yes it shows dog hair. It even gets dirty. Vacuuming and washing required. Ours has held up for 5 years with proper cleaning. We have purchased other beds canvas and other fleece type beds.

Our 1 fifth the cost beds have all worn out in the camper and both crew cab trucks replacing each within a few months of purchase. The most recent one lasted one trip. The Pendleton has out performed and lasted the rest.

One has to remember it is a dog bed it will never be wrinkle free and if darker colored it will even show the dog hair. 5 years later we have no complaints.

I bought the XL for my old Lab, who has arthritis and is having trouble standing up. I was looking for a senior bed with an orthopedic pad and bolsters. This one looked good. Please follow the recommendations from other reviewers about measuring your dog when it’s lying down in a comfortable, relaxed position.

My old gentleman is about 70 lbs and the XL looks too small. It’s OK when he curls up but he likes to lie on his side and stretch out. No worries, I am keeping this bed for my 40-lb Lab mix rescue case.

The good things: (1) The bed arrived a whole week earlier than promised, which was great! (2) We introduced the dog to the bed yesterday afternoon and he didn’t seem to take to it right away. But this morning I found him curled up in it and he looked happy.

(3) I phoned Petco’s customer service reps at 7:30 am Eastern and they were extremely helpful. I asked them to check for a larger size from the same manufacturer, and if there isn’t one, to make a recommendation for a similar product.

The rep took notes about what I was looking for. Petco’s product experts will do the research for me and email me back with specifications including dimensions. You couldn’t ask for better customer service.

I’m looking forward to doing more business with Petco!.

We ordered this bed after seeing the raving reviews from a youtube influencer Ryen Lung and his Corgi, Gatsby. We have a corgi mix ourselves and saw how much Gatsby loves the beds he had received. I knew this bed was pricey, BUT so WORTH the price.

We have it under our desk. It is VERY soft, and looks like it will be very durable. Bear likes it, but its my 17 month old daughter who loves it best. She hides things in the bed all the time. After doing some research, I noticed some major selling factors for me.

These beds are made in the USA and it is a family owned business. I also like the fact we can wash this bed if we have to. We do plan on getting more beds later on once we get a bigger place.

This bed is great! It fits perfectly into the corner and looks nice. I have a blind dog and she was hesitant at first but after a few times sleeping in the bed, it is now her “goto” sleep spot! She goes past her other beds to get to this one.

Walls are nice and tall but soft and she can snuggle into the cushion. Have recommended it to quite a few people who have seen it in pics I’ve posted. I’ll probably be getting another one soon for another room.

We bought this bed for our 3 month (now 4 month) puppy because she already outgrew the catbed that our cat rejected. She also chewed apart the cat bed so we were worried about this bed and how long it would last since she is obviously not through her chewing phase but she needed a bigger bed since she’s already 40 pounds and only growing larger every day! We got a size Large and already my 40 pound pup fits it perfectly and comfortably.

I think it would work well for the next 15-20 pounds she will grow as she will be a big dog, so if you have a Large dog, the sizing works great! We’ve caught our pup every time she’s tried to chew on it so she hasn’t had much success.

The pillow top is of cheaper and thin material, but it is comfortable. And the memory foam pad is honestly really nice! Our pup also is still learning to control her bladder so we’ve had many accidents on this bed and the ease of washing the bedding has been amazing.

The memory foam doesn’t absorb the urine so a quick wipe with a clorox wipe and it’s all clean! I wash the bedding under cold water and dry on low and I haven’t noticed any sign of wear and tear with it.

My dog is a happy pup and really enjoys this bed and as an owner, I recommend this bed.

I bought these exact same beds for my dogs a couple of years ago. I got these new ones to replace them. The quality is not nearly as good as the old ones. I probably should have returned them, but my dogs seem to like them well enough.

I just don’t expect them to last as long as the old ones did and will probably look for something different next time. I’m not sure why these new ones are made so poorly. I’m pretty disappointed.

I had originally bought this for my dog when we first got him. He loved it and slept in it every night. Then he discovered our tempur pedic bed. But he would still go and lay in his bed every now and again.

It got so much love a couple holes developed. So I decided for Christmas I would get him a new one of these beds. We had the old one for 2 years and it lasted really good! So I am excited to have a new one for my guy.

He was also excited!.

Lovely comfy bed that my pup loves. This is our second one. The first she chewed up being a baby at the tie. The second one had an issue with the zipper that split mid center. Customer service was good on this.

I have been able to replace the zipper but it took a great deal of work and some funds but I think based upon my first one, my dog became very attached to it.

Very nice! It arrived all assembled. Have not tried to take apart for washing yet. Nice supportive bottom and a firm bolster. Love the oval shape so my dog can either curl up or stretch out. She does both.

THIS IS THE SECOND BED. LIKE THIS ONE , THAT I PURCHASED. THE FIRST ONE I HAD. THE ZIPPER BROKE AFTER A MONTH. THE ZIPPER IS A CHEAP PLASTIC ONE. SINCE MY DOG LIKED IT SO MUCH I WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE HOPING THE SAME THING DOSENT HAPPEN.

IF IT DOES I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAROLINA ONE. THE SHIPPING WAS FAST FROM CHEWY AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.

I have an older dog, a German shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Husky, Wolf mix. She is 13 years old and has hip dysplasia as well as arthritis. I bought this bed for her because she has started to lose a little of her bladder control at night.

I am so happy with this bed. It is easy to wash and the covers are very nice. It is easy to take the covers on and off and wash them. Even though the waterproof cover looks soft and comfortable it is totally water proof, none of the crinkly, crunchy covers that I have seen on other water proof beds.

Biscuit also loves her new bed, now that she is laying around more than she is running around she really needed something this comfortable. This bed is so much nicer than any of her other beds that she has had, I wish I had found it for her years ago.

I would give this dog bed a excellent rating.

Finally a dog bed whose foam mattress is encased in waterproof plastic. I have two older dogs with urinary issues. I have had to throw out numerous dog beds in the last couple of years because of it.

Yesterday I washed all the linings and the dogs. What a relief! No more unnecessary but painful filling the dump with unbiodegradable foam. Two points: please make additional covers available and add a heavier duty cover and zipper.

The pups love these. They’re comfortable and great for my older dog. I laid on it to test when it was new and it held my weight perfectly, comfortably and reformed when I got up. Fortunately haven’t had to test the waterproof liner yet, but that was a selling point for me because our male kitten ruined the last beds.

Overall really happy with them so far.
