20 Best Teriyaki Sauce Bottle (2022 Updated)

This product is wonderful. It’s go versatile that I buy 4-5 bottles at a time. I use this to marinate chicken, beef, and tofu! Also can be used to make a nice glaze or for dipping. There are hardly any calories in this so I definitely recommend if you want your food to taste good, and if you are trying to get the most of your meals while eating in a caloric deficit.

I cook most of my SO’s meals with this because he loves it so much. This product is also vegan, which is a plus for me!.

having used kikkoman regular teriyaki sauce and their honey and pineapple glaze in the past, this version was a little bit of a disappointment. it’s not bad, per se, but compared to those other two it doesn’t stack up as much.

it’s more like a japanese style bbq sauce than a legit teriyaki. it gets the job done though and the thickness is great for grilling.

Kikkoman teriyaki baste and glaze honey and pineapple tastes sooooo amazing! This is the perfect sauce to use for your Hawaiian chicken bowls. It is not too sweet and is a great glaze on chicken.

Kikkoman has always been a staple in my home, from the time I was a child to now. This teriyaki sauce makes an excellent marinade. I love using it in chicken and beef dishes. I prefer Kikkoman because it’s not as sweet as other brands of teriyaki, and teriyaki is essentially a soy sauce with sugar added to it.

I like to add sriracha and hot chili oil to add a nice spicy element to the flavor. The flavor of this teriyaki sauce is so versatile in the kitchen!.

This is NOT the old Garlic Hoisin Sauce by Soy Vay. It tastes like the Soy Vay brand cheapened the sauce ingredients and added a lot more salt. The new Garlic Hoisin sauce tastes like the generic type of teriyaki sauce you could get for $1 at The Dollar Store.

The new sauce lacks the miso, peanut, carmel and sesame flavors of the old version. There is NOTHING special or likeable about this new version of the sauce. You could not recognize the flavor in an Asian dish as a Hoisin sauce.

Plus, it is expensive for the low quality that you get in the bottle. I returned it.

Always on the look for a better sauce I tried this stuff out years ago and its been in my arsenal of spice ever since. Good Teriyaki sauce is an elusive thing. Not too sweet, not to salty, the key is that when you take a bite that the food taste like something other than that meat marinated in soy sauce + sugar.

The way the flavors of the sauce come together and transform the meat into something greater than their component parts is key. Not all sauces, in fact not many sauces are capable of this. I’ve had some sauces that on their own tasted fine but were just not strong enough to impart their magic into the meat.

I had blown through at least a dozen different brands before I tried this one and on the first use knew I had a winner. Since then I’ve tried at least a dozen more, had some successes but as far as a general purpose sauce for Teriyaki flavor this is still the champ.

The flavor excellent, it’s not quite what you might taste at a Japanese Restaurant. Has its own character and flavor. The important thing is it is a good flavor and works the melding magic. It’s a sweet, tangy flavor with a side of sesame which gives it the unique character.

Its sweetness has an almost Mirin like quality and in strong concentrations is a bit too much for direct consumption. As a marinade for meats and veggies it is excellent. It does the obligatory tenderization as well as flavoring.

I’ve done beef, pork and chicken and it’s a winner on them all. I’ve also taken to using it as a drizzle on vegetables and rice. Its strong stuff so use it sparingly. On veggies it usually isn’t a problem as the extra rolls off, but if you flavor your rice with it be careful because you can soak up too much.

I really enjoy it on asparagus, it takes it to a new level. The value you get for the sauce is excellent, the quantity for the money is good. When you first open the bottle you need to mix it up as the sesame seeds all tend to float to the top.

Break it open with a chopstick and mix it around till you can shake it up. Refrigerate after opening and enjoy.

I cook meals for my family every single day. I love to experiment with different cuisine and flavors. I have made my own teriyaki sauce and I have purchased every brand you can name. This Veri Veri Teriyaki marinade and sauce is the only brand I buy now.

There is nothing out there that tastes more authentic and homemade than this one. A little goes a long way in seasoning and it’s the perfect marinade for steak! My teriyaki grilled salmon is a hit with everyone.

Threw it in a wok with misc veggies and canned chicken meat (like tuna) and served over minute rice. Fast, easy and super good. My teenager said he wanted it again. 100% Gluten Free Meal.

Decided to give Kikkoman Teriyaki a try in our Teriyaki bowls and all the staff loved the taste it gives them. After it passed our staff test we introduced it to some of our regular customers and they loved it as well.

Will continue to use this glaze on all of our Teriyaki items on our menu.

I LOVE THIS marinade! By far better than any on the market I have found, and I have tried a dozen different brands. A perfect blend, for on pork loin roasts on BBQ or oven, same with chicken wings, legs.

So tasty and addictive when roasted in oven 350 for about half an hour or more. I add Chinese Five Spice, smoked paprika, pepper, garlic powder first to meat, cook a little while, pour sauce over and bake another hour until done.

Can also marinade the meat in sauce in freezer bags and freeze for a good stronger flavor. Reserve sauce to pour as cooking and baste the meat. I also rinse the empty container with water, saving that water/remainder marinade to add to a rice dish for just a touch of flavor.

SO delicious! Trouble is, never in stock and I refuse to pay $15 for one bottle, should be able to get 4 at that price! OUCH.

This is the best steak marinade I have ever used. This marinade has a wonderful, savory, classic steak seasoning flavor, with just a touch of mellow smokiness. I’ve been using it for years, especially for serving BBQ tri tip to my 4th of July guests each year.

For some reason this past year, I couldn’t find my favorite marinade anywhere, which forced me to try other brands. I couldn’t find anything that came close. Couldn’t find a copycat recipe either. I used something that my guests liked, but I was disappointed.

So glad to see it back in stock at Walmart. I just wish they sold the larger 32 oz bottles.

Online shopping is great with Walmart. Great products. Great prices. It’s the packing of the product, shipping and FedEx delivery that SUCKS! Your product is packed poorly without any bubble cushioning.

If it is raining FedEx leaves your packages in the rain without putting them in plastic. Rain soaks through the boxes potentially ruining your items that you’ve purchased. I cringe at the thought of FedEx having to deliver a package to my house.

I got this sauce in an assortment that my sister gave me for my birthday. Since I hadn’t yet ever had it, I didn’t want to risk it on a bunch of meat for grilling. Not sure what to do with it, I saw the baked bean recipe on the side and decided to try it out on that since beans don’t cost much.

Wow! EVERYBODY LOVED THEM!! The consistency is a bit different than regular baked beans, not so sticky with sauce. Also, the four different beans, both in texture and appearance, really set this dish apart, really lets people know at first sight that this isn’t going to be their normal baked-beans experience, and if they’re adventurous enough to give them a shot, they will be far from disappointed, astonishingly pleased, even.

The chipotle adds a smokiness with a bit of a kick, not a lot but enough to make these definitely not your average baked beans. Also, the maple is there but somewhat subtly, not at all obviously and definitely not overpoweringly, such that people’ll be asking you what that flavor is because they can’t quite put their finger on it, and when you say, “Maple,” they’ll be all, “THAT’S IT!!” Of course, if you also use maple bacon as the bacon the recipe calls for, then in combination with the maple in the sauce, the maple would likely end up less subtle and more obvious.

My husband and I LOVE this sauce. I made a marinade for Salmon of: brown sugar, olive oil, soy sauce, Stonewall Kitch Sesame Ginger Teriyaki sauce, garlic, fresh ginger, honey. I marinated the salmon steaks with HALF of the sauce for 30 min only.

Then broiled it on both sides. Heated the remaining half of sauce till thickened, added 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, and served it on the side with the Salmon, veggie-rice and Broccoli. Absolutely the best Salmon I have ever had! Even better than at restaurants!.

In the winter months I usually make up soups. I add a variety of things that always result in a full bodied delicious soup. This with Miso Paste provides a nice satisfying taste. It is also fun making a never ending soup where you add a different ingredient or two to the soup.

I always test before refrigerating to make sure it is the taste I am looking for.

I grill cod loin wrapped in parma ham and use this as a dipping sacue. Wow. Fantastic. Even my husband eats it and that is saying something! I pour it into a little dipping bowl. Serve the fish on a bed of puy lentils with mange tout.

Never bought this before but thoroughly enjoying marinading salmon or chicken before cooking. A welcome addition to my store cupboard

I love to eat Chinese, Japanese, Korean food, however it has COVID-19 in 2020 and since then I don’t have Chinese restaurants much(a few time I had take out). I miss them so bad. “Kikkoman Teriyaki Takumi Original” make me happy to have Asian food at home.

I’m cooking with meat(Beef, Pork, Chicken) and a lot of vegetables(Broccoli, Celery, Carrot, Onion, Green Bean, Asparagus, Spinach, Arugula, Kale, Mushroom, etc) and am adding this sauce. So good. One thing, I don’t like that the price is increased since I purchased it at last time(June 2020).

This thick Takumi Original Teriyaki sauce goes way beyond the regular liquid version. It clings better as a marinade and imparts that perfect teriyaki flavor on my grilled chicken thighs! And the sesame seeds are a great complimentary flavor, texture and visual.

Teriyaki sauce is one of the easier things to make but there are times you don’t have the patience so this really does come in handy. It’s a very versatile sauce and I love all the sesame seeds they put into the bottle.

The best use I’ve had for this was Cowboy Kent Rollins teriyaki rice he did with it. Of course Aloha burgers are a classic too with this.

I can’t have gluten, and for years didn’t have teriyaki sauce due to thinking it all had gluten in it. But I found this one and was excited to try it. Having already tried a few other Primal Kitchen products, I fully expected it to be really good, and it was/is.

Love this and buy it here and there, especially love it with organic ground turkey that is sold in my area in central Utah.

The No-Soy Teriyaki is part of that! I’m a teriyaki lover, but often react to it since there’s a soy *and* a sugar reaction. Not so with this sauce. It’s a gentle enough flavor that it can be used as a marinade in the first cooking then supplemented when the uncommon leftovers are reheated.

Today’s recipe will involve meatballs instead of chicken. Mouthwatering just to think about! I’m SO grateful to Primal Kitchen for the variety of marinades that are available, and for the tasty combinations they’ve put together.

I never let us run out of Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce! This stuff is everything! It’s sweet with a kick of spice! It’s thick and has a tang to it as well. It’s hitting all the flavor spots on your tongue to make everything taste wonderful! Great on chicken! My favorite though, pulled pork! Slow cook a pork roast until it falls apart, then pull it into strips with 2 forks! Add a whole bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s.

Serve with onion hamburger buns! Mmmmm. Your family will love it!.

I soak my chicken and salmon in this before cooking. Everyone comments on how delicious it is. I love the flavor, sprinkle a few other spices on before cooking and its always amazing. I’ve been using this for over 10 years.

Not a single time goes by when a new friend introduced to this food doesn’t comment how good it is. Sometimes I soak over night, but even a 30 min soak makes a big taste difference. Great stuff! Love it.

My husband and I love this sauce. It’s the best teriyaki sauce in the world. I marinade steaks and chicken and this sauce and then throw them on the grill with large slices of pineapple and oh what a meal.

I’ve used this sauce for many years because I was able to purchase it in big box stores but not anymore so I have been ordering it online and so happy I can. I totally recommend buying this but please leave me some!.

This product is great to use when making stir fry or baking chicken. I use the less sodium product, which does not change the taste. The only negative is that the expiration date is not easy to understand.

It is on the top of the cap. Called mfger to ask but still can’t decipher. Think the manufacturer could make it easier for customers.

Put this over some country style ribs and cooking on low in the crock pot , has my whole house smelling good; come on dinner time😋. this is the first time I’m making them in the Crock-Pot with the marinade sauce I have used in the past but placing in the oven also on the grill and they turned out wonderful, very tasty! Kikkoman is a preservative free marinade the sodium content has been lowered from 470 mg.

I really love Kikkoman sauces when cooking , they bring a great flavor to the meat.

I love this glaze and usually get it in store until my store stopped carrying it. I ordered the 3 pack on the site and when I got it from the store pickup, the box was slightly opened and one of the bottles completely broke in half and got the whole inside of the box dirty.

If you can purchase this at the store I would recommend doing that instead because they really aren’t that great at being careful with fragile products, there was also nowhere on the box saying it was fragile either.

This the most delicious sauce i have found for the price. I use it for chicken, steak and fish. I always have raw salmon and tuna and use this as a dipping agent. For 2.29 it is a great sauce.

This is advertised as only having 5 grams of sugar per serving, that mustn’t be correct. It’s way too sweet. Don’t y’all know sugar kills ya? I tried it on my fromunda shrimp and almost had a diabeetus attack.

Was happy to find in your stores, then suddenly it disappeared. We use this on tuna, chicken and anything else we want to have a Hawaiian or Asian flavor. It’s wonderfully thick and doesn’t have all the sesame seeds and bits and pieces of garlic, onion or whatever the other brands add.

Shipping from the vendor is just to expensive. Please try to locate a brand similar to this.

This truely is the Best Teriyaki I’ve ever had. Wonderful flaover that makes your taste buds dance. Gets nice and sticky and gooey. We use it for wings but am going to try is on a few other things. Jack aslo makes BBQ sauces that are fantastic.

Hope Walmart adds them soon.
