They are exactly as described and will work for most automotive needs. They are NOT high dollar replacements but will work on your car. I will be using these on a boat which is a little more demanding that auto connectors and from the look and feel should hold up on the lake.

I dont have access to salt water to prove any issues but considering the connectors the manufacture utilized, these should hold up just as well or even better since they are heat shrink. It amazes me that boat manufactures scrim on such things but considering how many are on a boat this means high dollar.

Even I am concerned about the cost of them which is why I seek for a good cheaper alternative. Overall I am happy with the purchase and if they dont work for the boat, I do have plenty of auto needs over the next few years.

Received my order all in one day. Heat shrink tubing that was pre cut length cut down on waist , Heat shrink connectors save on time and reduce extreme weather / conditions failure , Lug cable connector kits that were purchased covered everything we work with.

These are some high quality wire crimpers. I really like the interchangeable heads for different types of terminals. Owning an automotive repair shop and restoring my own car on the side, these are leaps and bounds above any crimpers I’ve ever used.

Good fit for the wire cable, easy to get all strands into the cavity pre-crimp. Using a vise tool and heavy 5″-6. 6″ vise, these lugs take an amazing amount of crimp pressure without tearing open or cracking.

Lug can be bent a little if you need an angle other than straight-on, using care and a vise and some heat (not too much heat, you don’t want to oxidize its surface or compromise its tin coating).

These lugs may be adequate for the job, but there are heavier duty lugs available. I prefer the heavier duty lugs that have a thicker wall and longer tube section. They’re available in a couple different brands.

E. g. Deka.

I am a heavy equipment mechanic, these terminal connector kits work really good in areas that are not exposed to the elements. I have used them with dual wall shronk tube in a pinch. A good assortment, keep a couple on my service truck.

Nice and neat. Clips are weak after minimal use . They will break 1000% of the time if case is cold

I recently added a NMEA 2000 network to my boat to connect the VHF marine radio to the chart plotter, so I needed to hook up the network power cable to the accessory switch used for those devices. The switch, of course, already had connectors attached, so I used these piggyback spade connectors (with the Wirefy crimping tool) to keep the connections at the switch neat and secure.

And the adhesive/heat-shrink stuff worked great, even though the wires were thin. I’m very happy that it all worked well on the first try, because that hardly ever happens.

Purchased the wirefly crimper with dies , also heat shrink butt -bullet heat shrink connectors ! They are easy to use , solid professional connections for marine and automotive use that you can depend on ! Outstanding.

The design is superior to any I have seen. There are two problems that can be corrected: 1) The machining for the clamp screw head relief is off center and too small so the screw head will not give direct and effective clamping.

This I was able to correct with a small grinder. 2) The clamping screws were about 4 mm too long and “bottomed out”. I did not have shorter screws so I corrected this problem with the same small grinder.

The folks that I purchased from were the most responsive that I have dealt with! I ordered a second set which arrive almost immediately. same problem. I modified them as well and they are on my second vehicle.

Easy to install with the option for either the positive or negative battery terminal. Really cleaned up my power wires under my hood. Solid, easy connection to the positive (+) terminal itself & with my 1/0 gauge amp power wire AND the 0 gauge positive (+) ‘Big 3 Upgrade’ wire coming from my alternator.

This BT4 Kicker (+/-) Battery Terminal made all the connections to my battery simple and super clean. Highly recommend.

I was able to connect all necessary peripherals to these terminals with ease. Just not enough threading for the set screw when inserting 0 AWG wire. Other than that good quality product. Good clamping force to the battery posts.

Built like a tank, but I had to use 6 AWG terminals with a larger screw hole than is correct for the size screw in the terminal block or else the ring terminal would not sit flush. It seems like the terminal isolators are either too close, or this is only meant for spade terminals.

I’m using MIL-SPEC terminals left over from a mod on one of the aircraft I work on, so I know my terminals aren’t defective. If you find terminals that fit it, then it’s a beast. It’s not convenient to add a second conductor to each side since space is already so limited, so I’d suggest only using this as a feeder terminal strip for other bus bars.

It CAN be done, but be sure your ring terminals have full contact so you don’t add a high resistance to your system. If there was just a little more room, and I mean by a few thousandths of an inch this would be a 5 star product.

You don’t want to be stranded out on the lake or have equipment fail when you need it. This is a key component of the foundation of your electronics, and you don’t want your entire electronic system on your boat built on a piece of junk.

This terminal block is good quality but the slots are too small for 14-16 gauge ring connectors. Smaller 18-22 gauge connectors might fit. The slots for each screw should be wider! Buy the 30 amp version instead.

This type of fuse on the terminal mount fuse blocks makes it super easy to provide fused safety before you get to the primary weakness in any electrical system – the wire. The terminal blocks also eliminate additional losses induced by a break in the cable needed for inline fuse blocks and eliminate the need for finding a place to mount the inline block.

The only potential drawback is having to maintain access to the batteries, however if you are blowing these fuses on a regular basis, then you have huge problems that need to be addressed before reconnecting your batteries.

Lets face it, Blue Sea makes great products but it you know anything about marine product you know their prices hurt your wallet like no other. Same goes for this Blue Sea fuse. I can’t believe I pay this price for something I throw away when it actually works.

But I do because I need the security of and accurate fuse. So despite the price I am sticking with Blue Sea!.

I thought that getting the striping – crimping tool and the terminals at the same time was a good idea. I used the tool two or three times. In order to get a good crimp, I had to press extraordinarily hard and then the jaws proved to be misaligned as well as the metal was flimsy.

The insulation was damaged on the plastic part of the terminal and even at that, the terminal fell right off. BTW the plastic is very heat sensitive as I tried the crimp then solder technique. I got out my old crimpers which are substantially bulker and made the crimps with them with no issues.

The terminals are minimally covered in thermally sensitive plastic where my older ones had hoods over what is exposed metal on these. These are definitely for temporary patch jobs. I would use these on my own proof of concept projects, but not where I would feel secure that they would hold up or be as safe as the better insulated ones.

Sorry, this kit is a swing and a miss for durability, ease of use, quality and features. Again, I would use these on a proof of concept project, but not for a final project. The crimping tool made a most satisfying sound as it hit the trash can.

Oh, an the wire ties, snapped as I attempted to close them.

I purchased this to hook up some lights in my truck. The terminals themselves are of decent quality. The included crimper is not of great quality. The crimper doesn’t crimp well, or crimps right through the terminal.

So you are left with a cut off terminal or a loose terminal. After using the crimper a few times, I notices that the jaws of the crimper were actually letting the terminal go between them.

The crimps are standard grade (neither cheap nor high end). The container is internally labeled and has enough variety and quantity for several jobs. There is enough room to store more of each type. So, buy bulk crimps and refill to match your needs.

Recommendations: 1) Buy a decent ratchet style crimper ~$20 – $30. Resulting connections will look professional and be durable. Inexpensive crimpers can easily compromise connections. 2) Treat container latches with care.

Then they should last for a reasonable time.

Harbor Freight crimp tool, SKU 63307, works well to properly strip wire and crimp connectors in this set.

Wow, nice array of different sized terminals and connectors for general low voltage wiring. I wouldn’t reccomend for mains or 120 V even though they may be rated that high. Go with a better terminal for that stuff like that, but great for automotive stuff (not marine) unless you use a sealer or weather proof tape.

Good quality at a good price – fit my 8AWG Knukonceptz Kolossus cable just barely before crimping – Kolossus Flekz is advertised at 7. 5mm OD and 5mm core OD – if your 8AWG is more like the standard 3.

26mm diameter this connector should be perfect. In my case, the boot went on so snugly I probably broke some of the conductors so if you are also trying to get this over some Knukonceptz wire, just plan to use heatshrink instead.

I used to order this ring connector many times because it fits perfectly to certain large can capacitor contacts. The part was of a high quality, flat mating surface, perfect, smooth gold plating. The last time I ordered, I got different part, but the same part number.

OD is smaller (0. 48″), mating surface is not flat, finish is rough, and plating is of a low quality. The new part is unusable for my purposes. PE CS is excellent, as usual, quickly refunded, and suggested that there might be different supplier.

Good price for the number you get. They are just a bit thinner then I would like so you have to be careful when installing them. However, I will be ordering some more for a future project.

I ordered zero gauge copper cramps and my zero gauge cables don’t fit in it I had to go to a local parts store and buy out right there they maybe would fit a two gauge or maybe a four gauge but not a zero gauge.

We are using the non insulated butt connectors for connecting starter boxes to starting system on 2 cycle paramotor engines. They’re well made and work perfectly.

Good quality connector seamless design, ready to crimp and solder , finish the job with shrink wrap to seal the connection .

I’ve now thrown all my other connectors away; these are the only connectors you will ever need. Extremely simple and easy to use. No screwdrivers required just simply insert the cable close the clip and you’re done; when hang up light fittings it is now so simple one person job.

I am very happy with WAGO Connector Products – they are well designed and easy and quick to fit …. plus, they make wiring inter-connect jobs much, much easier.

I bought a garage built trike with a go cart motor. These were used to hold the fenders up but they bent them to a 90 without heating them up so they broke.

Used these to rewire and retrofit LED tubes and eliminate ballasts. So much easier than those fussy marettes for overhead work.

Worked very good with solid copper wires. Would not work with stranded wires even though it said on the package it would.

Garbage. These are just a poor imitation of “Wago” connectors. If you cant find “Wago” connectors, then just buy the regular “Twist on Wire Connectors”.

I was really bummed when I got the terminal. It did not come with the fuse as shown in the main picture!!! So deceaving!!! After gong back and forth in the Home Essentials Direct description of the product, I finally saw that the fuse was “not included” – Since the fuse cost another $15 – $20 bucks, it is a really expensive gadget when you do the math.

On top of that, I read somewhere that the terminal does not work without the fuse. Bottom line, I returned the product, and I’m now in search of a better alternative to fuse the house battery bank in my sailboat.

Like the rest of their smaller kits, the terminals are of good quality. Unlike the others, which come presented and ready to use, this is not a “buy and go” kit; rather you have to label the drawers (labels provided) and fill the drawers yourself.

Not a big deal in my case, but don’t expect to buy it and have it fully ready when you get home. A smaller kit would be better for that. Other then that, I don’t really have any real complaints. I used red, blue, and yellow paint markers to mark the drawers.

Makes it a lot easier to find certain gauges.

1. This is a UNIVERSAL battery clamp 2. As I saw in another review, the nut to tighten the clamp around the terminal post was surrounded by two metal “walls” which made it nearly impossible to get a socket on.

I had to use a 7/16 wrench and could only turn 1/4 turn each time 3. Look very closely at the other pictures. The piece that connects to the wire is only connected to the clamp with a single thin sheet of metal which bends when you try to tighten the wire onto the clamp.

If the nut ever rusts onto the bolt, you’ll never get it off without breaking this thin piece of metal.
