The book gives a few good tips about becoming a first tiem Jack Russel Terrier Owner. Through out the book you learn the just on jacks and what is notworthy and interessting about them. If you ever had a dog before though, most of the info in the book, you will already know and because of this will just skip over in reading.

I disliked that training tips, obidence, food and maintenance of this specific breed is explained only shortly and not very helpful. Again, if you have owned a dog before you already know most of this book.

All in all a nice book to flip through, but definetelly not a Must Have Book.

Very helpfull book as we have just adopted 2 Jack Russells. Written in a fun way easy read lots of information with clear explanation would recommend it.

Bought the socks along with the pajama pants and the notepad. The socks are hideous. There is a large pink? something where the mouth should be. No large for a mouth. Definitely takes away from the appearance.

I would not have bought them if I seen them beforehand.

The mascot of my son’s college is the Boston Terrier – I couldn’t resist this ornament for him. It arrived carefully packaged, in perfect condition, and is actually even better in person. When I pick out ornaments in person, I’m that ****** who stands in front of the display looking for the perfect one without any glitter goofs or off-kilter eyes.

This cat was the one thing my almost 6 year old daughter has been asking for for her birthday. I got it and opened to make sure it worked and had a battery so when she opened it it would work. I was happy to see it came with its own battery.

It also had a little bed and brush she will enjoy. The part I think is a design flaw is that it does not have an on off button or switch. It says it’s designed this way to make it more realistic, but I think they could have easily added one on the bottom and it would not have affected the “realness.

” The problem with not having an on off switch is that it just stays on, breathing, until the battery dies. The life of that I don’t know yet since we just got it. It also doesn’t sound very much like a purr, more like a soft motor sound pulling in and out the air that fills the belly.

All in all it’s cute and it’s what she asked for but I think it should have the on off switch and it’s a bit overpriced for what it is.

I purchased this for my elderly mother who lives alone. She has always had animals but could not look after one now. I looked at various animals and made the sad decision that any animal would be too much for her.

As she is displaying early dementia I decided to look for products that could help her to relax. This dog has had an impact, she strokes it and says it is a comfort. The “heartbeat” is very realistic and fooled my sister when she visited her.

All in all a very good product, it’s a bit weighty at the bottom which does detract from the overall feel. It will never replace a real pet but it did have a positive effect on my mum.

I purchased the beagle for my mother in law who has very late stage Alzheimer’s. My children (4 and 6) initially looked after the puppy before handing him over to their Grandma. They absolutely loved him and even though they knew he wasn’t real they still treated him as a real puppy.

The snoring sounds are adorable and the visible way in which the puppy’s back moves as it takes a breath is very realistic. It also looks like a true representation of a beagle. I was expecting it to be a bit more floppy but it is rigid in its sleeping position.

My mother in law enjoyed having him on my lap and I hope she will get some enjoyment from him. A lovely gift.

It took longer than expected to get here. It came a little after 2 weeks of ordering. Said it would ship in 3-5 days. took over a week for it to actually get in the mail. BUT the hat is perfect, which is most important anyway.

I purchased this for my 8 year old grand twins, because the girl loves cats, and they both like board games. Their dad and mom play monopoly a lot, but not with the kids. This says ages 8 and up. It was perfect! The first time we played, the kids didn’t want to stop, but I insisted we take a break after 2 hours.

(Yes, this is a “cat” version of Monopoly, so it does take time, but time flies. ) I can’t wait to visit them again to play the game with them. Highly recommend.

I received this board game within 4 days of ordering it!! I purchased this game as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old granddaughter. I researched the company before ordering. This company is based in Cinncinatti , Ohio.

Every part and piece of this game is made within a small radius of the city. Yes, made in the USA!!! I didn’t have to advance order or wait forever to receive the game. Because this is a Christmas gift, I can’t comment on how much fun it will be.

I did find that there are facts of the various breeds to be discovered while playing. I look forward to giving this gift!.

I bought this for being raised in Chicago and growing up there, for nostalgic reasons. But once I actually seen this game in person I was disappointed in the manufacture of the game. The game pieces could have represented the iconic features in Chicago and there could have been made better choices of the game board itself.

There’s so much to choose from I understand that but with that being said I think the choices made were not good, all could have been better. But like I said because of nostalgic reasons I bought this game and will try to enjoy it as is.

I heard my tri-colored mini Australian Shepherd puppy barking in the living room, which is rare for him to do. I went out to see what was causing him to bark and it was this statue which I had placed near the fireplace.

I wish I could have caught it on video, because it was so funny and sweet to watch!! I rest my case – this Border Collie looks real even to one of its living “cousins”!.

I ordered two of these little puppies because they look so real. I placed them so that one was looking a little to the side, making them look very natural. By doing this they do not look identical. I originally was going to put them outside on the deck as soon as the snow melted, but instead I placed them on a short set of stairs inside my home, with one puppy two steps from the bottom and the other turned slightly on the third step.

They are in a well lighted area, so no one is going to trip. I pass by them a dozen or more times a day and can’t help but smile. They are so cute!!! My granddaughter has a real Border Collie puppy that is the darling of the family.

These Toscano puppies are the next best thing for me.

The material and the size are perfect. It looks great for displaying in the yard or indoor, for the Jack Russel Terrier lover , I would definitely keep it .

The plants were very small. I called immediately & was told the 3-gallon plant is in the 11 in pot. Many of the plants were broken. I took photos. The representative informed me that I have a year warranty.

She said it’s the roots that are important, the fact that branches were broken doesn’t mean the plants aren’t viable. I don’t think I’ll ever buy plants like this again. I only purchased them because I needed 20 and my local nursery didn’t have 20 in stock.

I have a gardener that takes care of my beds 2x/week. So, I know they will be well cared for. My friends and neighbors were shocked when I told them these were the $99 plants. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will be beautiful in the spring.

I had a claim on a chipped Lastra plate and purchased the Route Protection and thought, no worries. WRONG, the item has to be smashed and broken into a million pieces. A chipped plate is still usable, in their eyes, even though you paid a lot for a perfect plate to arrive.

Vietri came to my rescue and replaced the damaged item. Vietri’s customer service is awesome, and I really appreciate them. Route, not so much. if you are worried about porch theft, Route. otherwise, I’d safe the money.

I’ve been waiting for this piece for almost a year. When I got it, I used it for baking Lasagna. The casserole was cooked perfectly. The baker was easy to clean, just soak in water, then brushed off the burned pieces along the rim.

Can’t go wrong.

You just cannot find Blue Heeler calendars in the Newsagents where I live, so was very excited to see that Booktopia can supply them. I love the Brown Trout calendars as they have great quotes on them about dogs.

I bought this for my 10 year old lab. She has some arthritis and I was looking to help her. I should have been skeptical of no reviews because I usually am a big review reader. I didn’t really like the smell or feel.

After a few days of giving it to her, she started acting funky and developed diarrhea. We have changed nothing in her diet except this. I stopped giving them to her and am returning the product. I will stick with what she has been using for awhile.

I had previously purchased these in November 2020 and my little guy loved them. They appeared how they do in the picture, small and round chews that he’d eat up right away. I ordered replacements in April 2021 and although I ordered the same thing, what I received was a bigger jar, with bigger, square chews inside.

Totally different. My little guy won’t eat them now either. They’re too big for chihuahua’s, as you have to break apart and they crumble. Disappointed it changed, when it still appears the same on the site.

My poor little guy ( a pug ) has always food allergies that would cause itchy skin and sometimes, hot spots. After years of ‘successfully’ dealing with this – suddenly, nothing I did was working. He had developed this strange, pungent odor that would quickly return after a medicated bath.

I tried anti-fungal wipes and sprays – I could NOT seem to cure him. When I saw this product (and the little pug face) on the label at Walmart. com – I decided to do some research about dogs and Omegas.

Turns out my guy had developed Seborrhea (oily) that can be caused by an Omgea-3 deficiency. www. drsfostersmith. com has some great info about Omegas and canines. and skin. and more. ^ According to Drs.

Forster and Smith, I was doing a lot right for my dog. except for the Omegas. So, I ordered these soft chews. I continued with the medicated baths, anti-fungal and gave him 1 soft chew each morning. What a miracle !!! Within 3-4 days, he stopped licking and gnawing at himself, his raw spots were gone.

His missing hair is now growing back, he’s not ripping at his ears, he doesn’t smell like he’s rotting. but most of all, HE IS CALM AND HAPPY. I’d like to say he’s a different dog, but he’s not. He’s a BETTER dog.

With these Omega-3’s, I’m starting to think he’ll never have itchy skin again — that’s how well this is working. Thank you Walmart and Healthy Breeds ! Maybe this pug mom can relax now.

The last time we got this foal was before we started collecting Schleich figures. My sister painted her, as a gift for her friend, but then decided it was bad. So it was sitting in our Schleich bin for years, until I finally decided to wash it.

It grew weird fuzz, so we quit on it. Then, a few weeks ago, I got a new one for my sister! Her name is not decided yet, but she’s really adorable. That whole backstory was incredibly irrelevant but anyway, she’s a very realistic and cute filly.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex rendition by Schleigh looks exactly like a mini version of the actual dinosaur. Quality of the toy made when I was a kid, which is hard to find nowadays. Beautifully painted-very realistic! The moving jaw adds more fun and interaction, making the toy experience more complete and giving more fun way to play.

My son loves making the t-Rex roar and eat things! The plastic has good soft rubbery feel so that it doesn’t slip from your fingers even when wet. Nice weight to it and does not feel like a cheap model.

Overall, I see this toy lasting for several years and can be passed to siblings.

I got this Schleich yesterday, and I will admit that it is beautiful. It’s short mane, sweet face, and braided tail is really nice. It’s just that he’s a bit smaller than my other Schleich horses. I put a bit of tack from another set on him, and the bridle was a bit big for him.

I also compared him to the Knapstrupper stallion Schleich horse, and the Knabstrupper was a bit taller. Still amazing model overall, though.

Excellent quality tag – last and last with no paint fading/chipping despite a very boisterous dalmatian puppy wearing it. Have reordered as want a spare – can’t find others as good as this out there.
