20 Best Tesla Phone Mount (2022 Updated)

Great product. I have it installed in my model 3, but wedged within the air vent, close the driver door. I have not stuck it in yet, but may need to, to avoid it from shacking as much as it does. The holder holds my phone very well, Google Pixel 6 Pro, even though its a big heavy phone.

I have noticed that it will fall off it the phone is not placed on the holder perfectly, as the magnetic ring on the back of the phone case needs to be aligned to ensure any bumps on the road do not dislodge the phone.

Not normally an issue, unless the road is particularly bad or there is a large pot hole. Build is excellent. Its very well made, easy to adjust and has a long reach too. perfect for navigation, and other info, to be visible within line of sight.

I particularly like the fact the time is larger on my phone, so quicker and easier to read then looking for it on the main screen. It charges the phone well, as well as the standard Qi charging pads in the model 3.

Super easy to install and also looks good, in keeping with the minimal Tesla interior. The only drawback, is any, is the price, but is very convenient, as it holds the phone in the right place (landscape or portrait, and charges it as well, without having to plug it in.

I was looking for a suitable mount for Model Y. This was the most promising. I opted for the Qi charger. Installation was easy, but the installation frame was very tricky. First attempt was crooked. I had to pull really hard to unglue it.

In my 2nd attempt I did not use the Installation frame for reference, and it came out really well. If you had to peel it once, I would suggest use painter tape to ensure proper install and leave it on for 30 min.

I waited another 1/2 a day before I used it. The magnet has good force , have gone over road bumps without knocking off the iPhone 13 pro max from the mount! Good Buy!.

I was excited when I ordered the phone holder. Received quickly and installation was not difficult. Worked great for a couple of weeks, then started to notice that I was hearing rattling in the car. Took me a couple of days to figure out that the phone holder was the culprit.

I have removed the holder and now I am in search for a new one. If you are like me any type of rattling in the car drives me crazy.

Extremely disliked. Bought this because I was doing door dash and driving a lot. Every time you hit a bump, like literally not exaggerating by hitting a huge pot hole but a bump in the road, my phone would fall off and slide under the seat.

Not convenient when you’re using it for directions. Bought a different one that grips your phone on both sides and the bottom and suction cups to the windshield. A little more money but definitely worth it.

It holds my phone where I need it to be to view safely. I don’t have to worry of my phone crashing down and breaking while driving. The magnet is super strong! I’m not getting any vibrating or loss of vision while driving with this holder! Which is amazing! I’ve tried 5 other magnet holders (cd insert, vent insert, suction cups, 3m stickers, and cup holder).

should be getting them on Wednesday the best amount you’ll ever buy. You won’t need another mount ever The magnet is so strong and amount itself can be controlled by a knob so I could be mounted at a certain position securely.

The iOttie Mount is my new favorite gadget. It is simple yet elegant, and works better than expected. The instructions are clear, with a link to scan for further directions if needed (they weren’t but I checked anyway).

Installation was exceedingly easy, I just pushed it onto the vent wing of my BMW and it stayed put. It does not appear to be causing any damage. My iPhone 12 stuck easily to the magnet. If you have one of those phone cases that are difficult to remove, it might be a hassle to take it off regularly.

I tried using it with the case on, and obviously it didn’t stick. Fortunately my case is easy to remove. The magnetic attachment has so far held onto my iPhone through daily driving, even on bumpy roads, which my teenage son said it never would.

I’m super glad I chose this unit over any others.

I had high hopes for this product. It fits in my air vent perfectly and the angle I was able to put my phone on did not block my air vents. It also didn’t block my stereo which was a huge concern with other products.

That’s where the positive review ends though. I use my phone a lot in my car while driving. Every time I used the phone when it was connected to this magnetic mount, my calls would randomly go on hold.

It would happen every single time. I don’t know why it was doing that, but it makes the mount useless for me. I will have to take it back.

This is the easiest phone holder for a car. I tend to only use vent holder in the summer when I don’t have the heat on because my phone will over heat but this works perfect. I really like my case and wanted the holder to go along with it.

I love this cell holder. I bought an extra one for our second car. I has to get a replacement dashboard pad. I contacted Bestrix via email. They responded immediately. I sent them a picture of the part I needed, received the pad really fast.

The dash mount Bestrix is much better than the CD mount that they made. It looks better and looks more durable. Hopefully, it will last longer than the 3 years that the CD mount lasted.

Took me about a year to find a phone holder can be placed secure to my dashboard strongly secured, it can be used in the windshield but I prefer it closer to me. It holds my iPhone with a battery case very strong with the included sticky magnetic pads.

I bought this after damaging my wife’s car with a vent-mounted holder. It works well, but the plug isn’t a snug fit into any cigarette lighter socket and so it jiggles about. Perhaps a bit of packing there might fix that problem.

The magnets worked ok for me, but that may be because the magnet on my phone is from another product from the same company. I put the magnet on the OUTSIDE of the phone case to ensure a good hold.

This is not as excellent as I expected it to be. I bought this based on the reviews here for my iPhone 13. I stuck the magnet on the inside of the case, so as to avoid sticking directly onto the phone and for closer contact to the magnet.

I bought two of these for my kids to put in their cars. I hate seeing them hold their phone when driving – an accident waiting to happen. You do need a case that is smooth on the back so as to use the entire surface area of the magnetic plate.

A metal plate is inserted between the phone and the inside skin of the case. This is what the magnet attracts. The suction cup is strong even over bumps. It can be bent in a number of directions to fit almost any car.

I got this recently and very easy to setup. I had a see thru case in addition to a nice leather case. So attached the large metal plate to the back of the see thru case since my Note 9 is bit heavier than other phones.

There is a large mounting disc which I will archive for use elsewhere since my car dash does not have a flat surface where I can put this mounting disc – something to consider if you are buying this pack.

Elsewise the magnetic mount with suction cup mount and bendable neck is perfect for my use and the phone does not go anywhere as you place it on the mount. Any angle you want. Do not spend on cheaper stuff from Kogan or Wish.

Spend bit more on branded stuff and you will never regret. I would recommend this product 100%.

This is a good product. I sticks to almost any surface, including the textured dash board. In Texas heat it will come lose but can be reattached easily. My only complaint would be the lack of a lower shelf to assist holding it in place on rough riads and i couldn’t find obe that facilitated wireless charging.

It can mount on yiur dash under the rear view mirror so you keep your eyes on tge riad and that is great.

It works as advertised, but fot the price which aint cheap it should be perfect. Dont get me wrong it is very good quality but found 2 things that need improvement. The metal sticky tab that goes behind phone should be pre scored to be easy to align for non flat devices maybe a simple perpendicular should do it.

I bent mine bcecause I’m mechanically inclined. Also the base on my dash is not all stuck to it the end of the flaps are not seated all the way down since dash is not perfectly flat or pre-bending the end tabs harshly before install.

Maybe a lower price vould be more beneficial for consumer and seller since more units would be flowing. Anyways I would reccomend this product.

Description says otherwise, but my phone will not stay upright with just the vibration of the road. It will completely fall off with any significant bump. This might have worked if I wanted to give up the Qi charging capabilities of the device.

Mounting the plate below the “charging ring” makes the phone top heavy on the mount. It just doesn’t work as advertised. Extremely disappointed.

Stick with the original. My original mount was stuck on my leather dash for years before it finally fell off. I have a black truck in GA heat. I ordered a new adhesive but thought this would be a better purchase in hopes that it would secure the cell phone better.

It’s a note 8. It did not, may even be a weaker magnet than the original. The phone continuously fell off even though it had the exact same set up at the original. Then a couple of months later the mount fell off the dash, evidently the quality of the magnets and the mounting adhesive is not what it used to be.

I bought this originally at my local Costco Wholesale. I was skeptical because I’ve bought four other similar products from Scosche’s competition over the years. With the other devices, the magnets or suction devices always failed and my phone would drop in my truck.

The cup holder locking devices is nice and tight for my Chevy Silverado. The magnetic mount and flexible neck have never failed me. You can twist or rotate the top of the cup to get the neck in the right spot and the flexible neck is firm, but malleable.

I’ve had it now for about two months and bought two more for my family. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Ive bought several of these. They last a long time. In the summer, I use the vent clip because the heat in Phoenix with the phone being in the window is too much for the phone. So its best to use the vent clip then.

The rest of the year I use the suction cup in my window. Im using something different right now just to try, but this is the best one yet. My nephew is using mine in fact. He loves it. If this other doesnt work out, Im going to buy another one of these.

I had a $15 vent mount for almost a year, I changed phones and so I needed a new mount since the magnet was attached. This LOOKED promising. 2 magnets one large and one small. I used BOTH on my phone and the dang thing sticks to the mount for about 15 seconds.

I’ve used a coupe different phone mounts in my car. The Georgia heat would always melt the stickers for the dash or the suckers on the windows so nothing would ever last. This little thing holds up in all seasons and even cools the phone thru the vent (I have issues with my phone overheating if I’m using GPS and charging for example).

It even comes with one non-adhesive metal insert. It works just as well as the adhesive ones, but it’s just placed between the phone and it’s case. No slipping or falling. Got one originally for my boyfriend, we both loved it so much I got one for me! Great gadget at a great price!.

I saw this on my moms car and I didnt know that it was a car mount. I thought it looked ridiculous until she showed me how it works. It made my interior look so much better, I used to have the big one that hugs your phone and I didnt really like it because it looks dumb, I only used it when I am using maps.

When I got wizgear it kind of made driving better for me because when I use my phone at a stop and dont pay attention to the light turning green I just kind of toss it to my wizgear and it catches it.

The magnets are pretty strong so this thing is very reliable and useful I will definetely buy another one when I get a 2nd car. If I was in sharktank and someone showed me this, no questions asked imma invest on this dude! Dopppeeeeeee.

It’s true, the magnet on this is pretty powerful. I wasn’t worried about my phone which is fairly light, but my husband has an s10 with a thick metallic case that also holds his cards, the magnetic tightly adheres.

We have these in both cars so we can just pop up pgives when we get it. It’s only been a few months but so far, adhesive on magnet is solid. The limitation maybe for this who switch cases often, I bought extra magnets for this purpose but what I actually wound up doing is not adhesing my magnet to my phone or case, so it’s held between my case & the back off my phone which still allows this magnet to hold tightly.

I was a little hesitant to give this a try as my Iphone 13 Max Pro with the RokForm rugged case was already pretty heavy but this magnet holds it up perfectly fine in my car. I’ve gone over speed bumps, taken hard turns, etc and my phone hasn’t budged.

On the rugged case there’s two magnets and the bottom one definitely holds stronger but the center one will still hold the phone as well. Very pleased that something so small and low profile functions as well as it does.

This little simple magnetic disk is the best thing to be used with your phone. I put this disk on my steering wheel so when I’m on break or sitting somewhere I can quickly put my phone on it and give it a spin to watch YouTube without my phone on my lap.

Bring at the center of my steering wheel makes life much easier when I’m eating lunch in my truck when I’m on the road. I can watch YouTube like a tv. It hasn’t moved at all with the heat or the cold.

It holds my 13 pro max just fine in any orientation.

I was looking for something really simple to hold onto my MagSafe wallet while my phone was in the windshield mount. Love this little guy! It holds the full weight of my phone on the road too

I put this in a 2022 Subaru Outback. I placed it in an unused space on the smooth glass display. Turns out I didn’t like it there and wanted to move it. The bond with the glass was VERY strong. I used a needle to slide under the back of the mount, between it and the glass, jabbing it in over and over to loosen the bond.

Then I took a very sharp folding knife (a razor blade would do) and CAREFULLY slid it between the mount and the glass trying hard not to scratch the glass. The whole process took me about 45 minutes, but it came off clean and I was able to use the extra small round sticky pad included in the kit to place the mount in a better position.

The magnet works fine – I used the rectangle metal plate, sticking to the back of my iPhone 12 case (I didn’t want to stick it to the phone itself) and it holds fine in normal driving. Bouncy or really rough terrain, or fast sudden curves, can make it come free, but for a magnetic stick-and-go, then stop-and-grab mount, I’ve been very happy with it.

Just make sure if you mount it to a glass surface, you place it where you want it because it is very difficult to remove (which is probably a good thing).

Love the small footprint on the base of this mount. I have a 2016 Ford Explorer and the trim comes up right by the key has a small patch that is shiny and perfectly smooth while everything else is soft and textured.

This mount fits there perfectly and is in the perfect spot for my use. I have a UAG phone case (s9+) which has ridges on and it’s not a smooth surface at all. When I put the metal plate provided directly onto my phone and then the put the case on, the magnetic attraction is lessened because of the unevenness of my case but it’s still strong enough to hold it in place.

If I take the case off I can tell a noticeable different but since I’m not Evil Knievel, it’s not going anywhere. The swivel portion of the mount is the unsung hero of this setup. It’s stiff enough to not move when you put your phone on it and even on the bumpiest roads, it doesn’t sag, wobble or wander.

But, if you need to adjust your phone, with a little force, it moves smoothly and easily.

This is overall a great product. Was easy to install and the adhesion is pretty intense!!! What I didn’t know (and why I am writing this review) is that the metal plate that you stick to your phone will block its ability to recharge wirelessly, so if that’s as important to you as it is to me.

please read on. In hindsight I’m not even sure why I attached it, because my phone was already attaching magnetically to the base without the plate, the hold was just looser than with the plate, so I thought why not? Well, I found out why not when i went to put my phone on my wireless charger and the juices were not flowing.

It is also surprisingly difficult to remove the plate without scratching the ever living hell out of my phone back. Still haven’t figured out how to do it. Pray for me.

I spent a long time researching mounts for my car. I wanted a magnetic one, but no one seemed to make one that was strong enough. Even if the magnet was strong enough the way it mounted to my car wasn’t.

My phone was always falling off one way or another. After reading tons of reviews I finally gave this mount a shot and I am happy to report that it works perfectly. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, with a case, so its heavy and it doesn’t budge on this mount.

The mount has never fallen off the vent, nor my phone off the mount. I am extremely happy and impressed with this mount and say “well done” to Mighty Mount as a company.

It’s unobtrusive and well designed. The rubbery attachment you wedge onto the vent slats is very secure. This only impacts/limits the angle of swivel but to try to negate this I removed the mount from the center of the vent and put it all the way on the lowest slat I could to start.

It mounted the mount on the air vent with ease. It feels extremely sturdy.

I’ve run through a couple different vent mounts over the years. Most either clamped down like a clip or used friction to stay in place. These are the first that actually bind to the vent louver. What I like is you don’t have to tighten them down as hard as you can (like other clamp type mounts).

They hold secure and allow the inside louver to move. The magnet holds very well. Overall, I wish I had found these first.

Good value for a magnetic phone holder. I have a top name unit on one of my vehicles and decided to try this one out on another vehicle. This works fine. Doesn’t seem as sturdy as the other one, but no real complaints.

This phone holder is the only one that I have found that finally works with no issues, Ive been through probably 5 different designs an they always have a problem. Phone falls off the vents, or the suction cup wont stay in place, or if you have a case like mine (Otter Box) the holders fall down or fail to stay in place.

This magnetic holder is super easy to set up, stays in place where you mount it an Ive yet to have it fall off the holder while driving even on rough terrain.

The holder fits and works very well. However the fit between the black plastic that holds the phone and the grey plastic that fits to the dash is a little too loose for me. When touching the phone screen the bracket moves a moves just enough that more attention is necessary.

Yes I am glad I purchased it and would recommend it as well.

I wanted a mount that would look integrated into the design of the interior, I’ve used many suction cup mounts and was tired of them falling off and leaving rings after removal. This mount looks like a factory option and is easy to install and to use.

Works ok…cellphone has to stay lightweight otherwise with cover cellphone tips over a little. Also vents on holder doesn’t work well when a/c is working coz it blocks breeze.

I was excited with my purchase and couldn’t wait to try it. As instructed I stuck the dash pad on my Peugeot expert dash and the mount on the dash pad. soon to find out that the mount could not hold the weight of iPhone 13 pro! It was not that the dash pad was peeling off the dash, but the mount was peeling of the plastic pad provided by QL.

Then I tried it on the windscreen and it was the same. the mount keeps dropping as soon as the phone goes on. I contacted the company and after sending a video and explaining, they sent me a replacement dash pad! When I specifically told them it was not the dash pad that was the issue.

I asked for suggestions on what other base I could use, and they suggested QL 360 but couldn’t guarantee it would work. Since I have asked for a refund, I have to bare the cost to return the item. they insists on having tracked so that was £7.

65 lost. Surely for a defect product you would not expect to pay return postage too. I have yet to see how easy it will be to get my refund!.

Hi, this item will not stay on my windscreen. It falls off even without the phone attached. This happens whilst driving or when parked in my driveway. I have done some further research on Ford Ranger Chat forums and it seems this problem is very common.

Others have mentioned something about an out and back adaptor plate or something that they have used. I think this might be a better option for me to bolt it onto a plate. I really like the case, the ring stand and the charger I have purchased, however quite useless without a secure way of staying on.

could you advise of how we can resolve this, I am not happy with this purchase in its current format and would like to investigate some kind of refund/exchange for something that will work, like bolting on to a plate that is near by vent.

Whilst the actual lock on the case works well. The case itself though the volume buttons and power on off button are so hard to press. It’s way too stiff there is no rigidity in it whatsoever. I’ve only bought the one thinking I’ll do the entire eco system but I’ll look at another brand now.

In all honesty if I had of known the functionality of the case and volume buttons were going to be that difficult I would never have purchased it. When the phone is not on the quad lock and your using it outside that environment.

ie. a normal phone then turning volume up and down you have RSI after a day. Honestly anyone with RSI or Osteoarthritis would struggle with the functionality of this case.

After searching high and low for a mount that actually works, I ended up on the phone with Nick – the owner of the company- just to ask a few questions. I’ve never before had customer service like this! He was very well-informed, was able to answer my questions thoroughly, and I ended up purchasing threw him mainly because he was just a stand up guy! ON TOP of that, it’s the PERFECT mount for me.

I do a lot of rough riding in my JEEP, so I was looking for something sturdy for my windshield – good for hot and cold weather- something beefy – easy to take phone on and off. I’m glad he suggested this mount for me.

Great air vent cell phone holder! The holder can attach virtually any where that the adjustable clip can fit into. Once you find the right fit for the clip, you tighten the screw and it attaches firmly.

The round magnet where the phone attaches is adjustable as well. I received phone 2 magnets, one is a round magnet I’m assuming is to attach to the outside of your phone. The other is a rectangular one that goes inside the phone case.

I put the rectangular one in between the phone and the case and it is very strong. I have an iPhone flexible case that is not very thick. I am very impressed with the quality and the fact that the clip is adjustable.

It also appears to be made totally out of silicone/plastic, with no sharp metal pieces that could scratch your vent or car. So happy I decided to go with this brand. LOVE IT!❤️.

Easy to install (and I mean it, very easy to install!) The magnetic ”suction power” is incredibly strong. It just cannot fall The stand won’t move around with the weight of the phone or when the car is jostle.

I didn’t want anything overly complicated or permanent to hold my phone. I didn’t want suction marks or reversible type on my console or dash, so I grabbed this little gem. It took me less than a minute to put it in my car and it works just as I needed.

I can still plug my phone in to be charged while it rests in the cradle. There is enough give in the connector attached to my vent that I am not worried about any damage. For the price this is a great little buy that works!.

The idea is good but the mount falls a little short. It does not stay stable in the the accessory power outlet. Not that it falls out but it does move too much. Also as I found out it’s not ideal for my outback due to where the outlet is.

It just too low in my car to use safely.

Best magnetic car mount I have ever used. I have bought many in the past that wasn’t strong enough to hold my iphone 11. I never have that kind of problem with this mount. the glue they use for the dash mount is outstanding.

Don’t tell anyone I said this. I want to be the only one that has one so I can brag. :).

I have the dash mount as gave vent mount to granddaughter. Love them both. Bought an extra vent mount for son so they can use no matter what car they’re in. They travel a lot! I highly recommend all my products ordered.
