20 Best Tesla Screen Protector (2022 Updated)

As promised installing the Tesla Model 3/Y Touch Screen Protector was super easy. I would add a helpful comment to your instructions. If you really want to make sure that the bubbles are out of the protector, use the flashlight on your phone and hold it an angle view the reflection on the screen.

It will show you an remaining bubbles for sure. Unlike the bubbles in other screen protectors, removing the bubbles for this one was almost magical. The squeegee shows the wave pushing the bubble. I wasn’t sure that it was working, but then magically the bubble was gone.

I honestly recommend this product to all tesla owners! This protector is fingerprint-resistant and anti-glare which makes it SOOO much better and convenient for use when driving. It didn’t make any difference to the touch response, which I was worried about before the installation.

The product is excellent. The instructions much less so. I had to buy a second protector and, using on line instructions, was able to install it properly. But, it cost double.

This particular case had a seal that disintegrated. the rubber just started peeling out of it. I had to order a different case from amazon a couple of months later just to get by. I just now found another lifeproof fre in one of the colors I have been looking for so I ordered off ebay.

I am hoping it was just a bad case and this one will hold up. I should have taken a picture. I did not. When the rubber started to crumble it got messy and I tossed the case. I like lifeproof cases because they are waterproof.

Normally they just would wear out around the charging area. This particular one even lost the rubber coating around the sound on off button. At first I did not realize it and my phone was getting bumped on and off.

One of the questions above was does it give good protection. When in tact it does but because this case crumbled it was worthless.

I bought this a month ago, I’ve only ever use life proof case is the 12 years I’ve had Apple products, the case I had before purchasing this one was a clear hard shell life proof case. I had it for two years and it was no longer usable so I ordered the FRE case because that’s the only super protective case that they carry now for iPhone XR which really upset me because I liked having my clear plastic case so that I could put anything on the inside of it and make it look like my own case, I put Polaroids and stickers in it so it looked really cool.

Now I can’t do it with the FRE. I didn’t want this case but I’m not eligible for a new phone yet so I had to do what I had to do. Definitely not worth the hundred dollars I spent on it. My friends can’t hear me when I’m on the phone with them because the speaker is so muffled from the “ waterproof technology” when I play videos off of my phone it sounds like my phone is underwater.

I have not put my phone in water to test the case, so there would be no water in my speakers. I just wish I could’ve got the case I had before because this one has given me tons of issues. It’s not easy to use.

I don’t like having to open the bottom flap to charge my phone, I didn’t buy this case because I wanted the waterproof technology I bought it because I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t crack my screen, the last case I had didn’t have the jack where the charger port is, or the screen protector over the phone, but I never had an issue with my phone shattering or cracking when I dropped it with my last case.

I just wish they still made the model of case that I used to have because this one sucks. This FRE case was the first one that I ever purchased for my iPhone four and I can continue to buy another one when I got my iPhone 6.

I’ve had this case before and I liked it but this one I have at the moment I do not like at all.

Have kept my 6s through the rest of the iterations of iphone, and was worried that replacing the original Defender would be a problem. Not so. Thanks. Needed to replace the outer skin as the repeated action of taking the phone in an out of the holster was wearing down the tiny strip at the clip tab, and the skin was coming out of the channel as I put the phone into the holster because it was getting loose there.

This is after more than 5 years of daily, constant, rough use, so I got my money’s worth. New replacement is a different material for the outer skin. A little less “rubbery” than original, but fit is perfect.

Design was and is excellent, and individual pieces are tough and work the same as the first time. The belt holster is still the best way keep a phone when you aren’t using it. I don’t care what pocket people think.

Great design. Only thought on the design was, the charging port flap with constant use got loose so I eventually cut it off. The material in this newer version of the Defender is more rigid and it takes a bit of effort to get the flap out of the way to put the charging cable in.

This case isn’t meant to be near waterproof so I might cut this one off too. I also took out the clear plastic screen. I didn’t get used to the loss of touch of the screen, and since this isn’t waterproofed, I like it better that way.

Sorry Otter. It does what I want it to do very well, which is to save my phone from my clumsiness. It has done its job on many, many occasions. A simple, tough, well-thought-out design. T.

If you’re looking for a screen cover that’s easy to install and reduces blue light, then this is great. Sadly it’s not perfect in many other aspects. Firstly, these come with a brilliant installation template, so if you’ve had problems lining up your screen protector in the past then this will allow you to breathe easy.

You simply make sure your screen is clear of dust and drop the cardboard shape around your phone – like a phone case. Done! Amazing. The blue light tech in these is fantastic, it makes the image much less stressful for your eyes in dark environments, however this is where the benefits stop for me.

As a professional photographer needing a clear, non colour altering display, this fails despite the claims. It does reduce blues and alters skin tones as a result, leading clean images of people to look slightly mucky, discoloured and jaundiced.

Never mind, I can deal with that, I have various other screens, like my iPad and MacBook, to be able to showcase my images from. It’s a shame my readily available phone doesn’t show my images to the best colour accuracy but it’s not colour destroying and still suitable for a small form factor viewing.

Sadly, this screen protector doesn’t function fantastically well at being a ‘screen protector’. I’m not too sure what strength of tempered glass is being used but it’s easily fractured and chipped on the edges, and after only a couple of months of use for my second one in 4 months I’ve got two nice cracks split across from different places after a single drop on thinly carpeted floor.

My initial one actually broke along with my screen shattering beneath it from a waist high drop onto tarmac – not much in the way of screen protection. Oh, and I use a fairly expensive rubber case around my phone too.

So I guess if you have a good armoured case that’s going to protect your screen anyway and you want blue light reduction with less discolouration than apple’s built in offering, this is great! If you want screen protection or perfect colour rendition, you’re better off getting something built better for strength.

I had the chance to try 4 types of screen protectors on my iPhone 13 Pro. This one left me a bit puzzled as I had high hopes, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations. This screen protector is relatively higher in price compared to other screen protectors within the same range.

For around 29. 99 you get only one protector so if you miss the first installation there is no chance to reapply a substitute protector. For half this amount I got a set of three protectors which perform perfectly well.

I appreciate that this one has a particular focus on protecting against blue light. This is medically-advised and this protector does a great job at that. However, that’s the only special thing about this protector, and nothing else is unique.

This covers even the Face ID sensors and selfie camera which I don’t like. The last thing I want is to add a layer on top of my camera and sensors. The installation isn’t that smooth either. I found it quite a hit-or-miss type of installation, where a potential miss is very costly.

I really hope this screen holds up because it’s expensive! Cool idea to have the plastic case to apply the screen onto the phone. it will line up perfectly. I followed the directions but I still ended up with 3 very tiny bubble spots where something got inbetween the phone and screen.

but given how expensive this screen is, I did not dare peel it off and retry! I’ll have to live with it. The other bubbles took a while to massage out. And some parts of the edge were hard to seal, and it even popped a bit the next day.

I read a trick once about taking the tiniest bit of olive oil and running it along any edge that pops up. Did it before and did it this time and it works well. We’re not talking about a visible amount of oil, so don’t go laying it on.

Maybe apply it with a lightly oiled corner of a napkin. Screen has a visible blue tint but I haven’t been disturbed by any screen colors. I was looking for a blue light filter that’s also anti-glare.

I saw mentions of anti-glare for this one but it’s definitely a shiny surface. I’ll live.

The plastic alignment is nice to make ot even but be careful, the plastic doesnt fit for all. I just used the very bottom inserted in, the side plastics did not fit and made a slight scuff on the leather to try to fit it in, so i stopped on the side and left the bottom plastic on and worked just fine too.

But there were still like 5-6 small bubbles. No lint. After a day or two some of the small bubbles dissapeared but after day 4-5 there are still like 3-4 ones left. Its annoying. Oh well. Nice quality though.

For the price id get something else next time.

Your product did exactly as advertised, unfortunately I have a few air pockets of air on the screen but I believe it was my fault. I cleaned the screen, but I think I concentrated on the center of the screen too much and not enough on the edges.

But I can live with it for now, but when I do decide to replace it I will purchase your screen protector again. I cannot imagine trying to put the screen protector on without the frame you provided.

I bought the screen protector along with the ppf for the CA carpool sticker and a pair of trunk PPF. Only one trunk PPF arrived but that is not a big deal (email to resolve the problem). The problem with the screen protector is that I read the instruction on the box.

Wiped clean the screen, used the provided tape to hold the screen. I need to put extra blue masking tape to hold the screen in place. I placed the tab in the upper left corner and aligned it as best as possible.

The top is aligned to the edge but the lower edge has a gap still in the screen. So I thought it is OK. Looks just like the Tesla gap fit quality LOL. I just now looked up support to apply the trunk ppf and discovered that there may be a possibility that due to manufacturing error, the tab could be at the lower right side.

Dude, I don’t want to take the screen off and rotate it 180 degree to see if it fits better. What if I get some dirt under the screen when I re apply and can’t get the bubble out. Oh well! Live and learn.

This is the second protector I’ve tried; first (not from Tesbros) was returned because it would not adhere to the screen. This one installed quickly, accurately aligned first time, with much better resistance to bubbles and dust than protectors I’ve used on iPhones.

Cannot tell it is on now. Mat finish seems better in bright sunlight. No problems with touch screen after installation.

I ordered the matte finish after ordereing the sample kit and carefully comparing the matte and clear finish options. I was originally concerned about the matte finish lowering the perceived contrast and sharpness of the screen, but honestly I’m thrilled with how it ended up looking.

The change in contrast is minimal, and in my opinion well worth it considering the benefits of the matte surface: less glare, a silky smooth feeling when touched, and better resistance to fingerprints.

The reduction in sharpness is also pretty much non-existent in my opinion and not even something worth considering. I did have an issue with the first screen protector I installed (pictures included) which had a strange distortion running across it that appeared to be a manufacturing defect on the adhesive layer.

Fortunately, I submitted a support request with photos and Pete responded quickly and immediately had a replacement screen protector on the way to me, free of charge. The replacement was flawless and looks fantastic.

I’m very happy with the end result.

The screen protector I bought i believe a month ago but barely received the vehicle last week. I watched the video from abstract ocean on YouTube. Seemed like a super easy process as I’m pretty handy.

First of all the guide did not fit properly so I knew I wouldn’t line up correctly. I decided to do it freehand and not use the guide. All went well but on one of the corners it would not stick on correctly no matter how much i tried.

Well, the reason it wouldn’t stay down was due to the corner backing was slightly lifted. I then decided to take the screen off and put a little baby shampoo and water mix on the corner to see if that would help as it seemed besides being lifted there was some kind of residue.

That seemed to have helped so it’s about 90% better. Overall it seems like a good quality screen protector but wouldn’t buy again. I would choose another brand instead. I didn’t reach out to abstract as it’s been several weeks since I ordered.

Will find another brand and try my luck again.

Have been using these for about a year with my TomTom Spark 3. They have worked really well. I’m glad this is a multipack as I use my TomTom not just for running, but also for Obstacle Course Races. The protectors have done great to protect the watch face.

I did replace the first one towards the end of the season as the first one got pretty roughed up. I plan on putting a fresh one on before the new season starts in May. I’d recommend for anyone using the TomTom Spark 3!.

These appear to be good quality screen protectors. I had a little difficulty installing won the first time around, but it still worked, I was still able to use that cover. I know it will be easier the next time.

Just install the shield. It’s dring Now. Let’s see later how it looks. I’ll update this review later

Im used to fitting protectors over many years but this one refused to sit down on one corner and remained lifted up despite all efforts. Its in the bin- there are much cheaper ones that do stay down available -I suggest you save your money and buy another brand thats better and cheaper.

Although I don’t believe I would fault the actual company/product as it seems that the one that survived usps shipping is good in quality. That being said everything that this kit comes with is all you should need to place a screen protector on your phone except for someone else doing it for you.

Aside from that the clarity is nice. The rounded edges give it a good feel and transition from screen to screen protector to prevent screen protector from peeling up over time. This is the part I would highly recommend however.

Please consider changing your shipping method. I understand things happen but once opening my bubble padded envelope the hard plastic case that contained what should have been three of the glass screen protectors only one survived shipping.

The hard plastic case was cracked and the two outermost screen protectors were shattered. Only the one cushioned by the application kits and the other dead screen protectors survived.

For those reviews that say it’s too small for the SE 2020, they don’t know what they’re talking about. The design of the screen of the SE and 8 is different; it curves at the edges. Therefore, the screen protector cannot go all the way to the edges; it has to stick to the flat portion, and cannot curve with the curved edges.

A glass screen protector that goes all the way to the edges would cause the dreaded “halo effect”. This screen protector is easy to put on, if you take your time to get it lined up and make sure to get all dust off.

I went into the bathroom and shut the door to minimize floating dust and dog hairs. Strangely, the instructions that come in the package are incorrect; go to the website and follow their video instructions.

I did have two small bubbles after placement, but they eventually came out. I have had this on my phone for over a month, and so far so good. I have not dropped it, so I don’t know how it might handle drops.

You get three protectors for this price–excellent deal.

This Trianium screen protector for iPhone X is by far the best Ive used. It comes well packaged with clear instructions, a wonderfully helpful jig frame and three sets of wipes and guide/dusting stickers( one set for each screen protector).

Other sets Ive ordered came with two or three screens but only one set of wipes and stickers. My installation only took a few minutes and came out perfectly! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. !.

it has a screen protector snap on case to make It easy to install. Fool proof and it’s always going to be easy to line up and not be crooked. plus, there are 3 of them. should last me 6 months to a year at the least with moderate phone usage.

The quality of this protector is low. I used the 1st one and it broke in two weeks, installed the 2nd one and got a crack in the 2nd week too. So bad on quality, but easy to install!

As I will be using my iPad Mini 4 outdoors, I opted for the anti-glare version for better visibility. The clarity of the screen is ever so slightly muted due to the surface texture but not enough to worry about at all.

I will have to say that the installation is tricky though. I found that if you use the included dust removal stickers as a position holding hinge before removing the protective sheet that the installation will be easier.

I had to lift the protector more than a few times to remove the small bubbles around the edges. Once all of the bubbles are gone, it looks great. The matte finish does help reduce fingerprint smudges.

In all honesty, I do need to say that the touch response is ever so slightly reduced as well but I quickly got used to it and soon realized that it was not a bad thing at all. Overall, I recommend this screen protector.

I cannot begin to say enough good things and rave about how great the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector is! The whole line of Balistic Glass screen protectors are great too! I first got the Ballistic Glass screen protector for my iPhone 6 and later got the one fort iPad after seeing how amazing it is! It is like any screen protector, it sticks to your screen, but what is sooooo different is that it is a actual sheet of glass that if dropped, scratched or anything were to happen to damage the screen the ballistic glass is the glass that will take the hit and protect your actual iPads glass screen.

So some say well if it falls and the ballistic glass shatters why is it worth my money, well it’s worth every cent because as stated the ballistic glass shattered, not your actual iPads glass screen, it has done its job.

Other plastic screen protectors will still cause you screen to crack or shatter, just not all other the place so it really does not preserve the actual glass screen. I suggest and highly recommend buying this product and best place for the best price is off of amazon.

I was looking for tempered glass screen protectors for ipad and I don’t know why this popped up, I thought it was a good deal and ordered it but when I received it I was disappointed it was plastic. Well this is a good quality plastic but just like any other plastic it creates bubbles and it is hard to install since it bends when trying to put it on.

This is the reason of the 3 stars. I have used glass screen protectors for so long that anything less just does not meet my expectations. Even a the best plastic protectors. Just a recommendation for everyone even the cheapest glass screen protectors looks better than the best plastic.
