20 Best Textured Brick Wallpaper (2022 Updated)

Amazed at how much pizzazz the red brick adds to my kitchen. I live in an old brick Victorian with uneven plaster walls not a right angle in the place! The half-wall behind the oven needed a backsplash and since it’s a rental I didn’t want to invest in the real thing.

I used about half a roll and could have done a better job matching up the panels but the results are just amazing. A few bubbles appeared overnight so will have to do some adjusting but I’m very pleased and would recommend.

Make sure your walls are very clean and dry or you’ll run into problems.

I bought this and 2 more patterns to cover boxes on both the inside and outside to use in my Art studio. I needed specific sizes and they also needed to be able to be wiped off with a damp cloth. Most of my furniture is either black.

or white and the papers go along with the neutrality of everything. It was easy to use a very nice weight and is durable. I will probably use it on the inside of my dressing room drawers as they tend to get makeup, hairspray and other stuff on them that needs to be cleaned periodically.

I will order more of this, the Stacy Garcia “Dog” and the damask print all very soon.

I originally bought this product as an inexpensive way to add a headboard to my bed. But, as soon as I saw it, my immediate thought was ‘Why not get the real thing?’ So, I’m sending this back to get a piece of real beadboard.

But, if value were my most important concern, this peel-on & -off replica would certainly fit the bill esthetically. As for it’s physical properties, I never used it so cannot attest to its adhesiveness.

Also, the color is way more gray than white.

Lots of issues with bubbles. There are variances and inconsistencies in the wallpaper that cause making it line up and look good. And I would never call this wallpaper white ever. THere are portions that in the pics look like gray/silver patches but in person are very shiny which can be distracting from the actual design.

Some of my paper as i was hanging it I noticed had damage and creases and I had to throw away a 6ft section of it as it was not able to be salvaged. Im sure customer support will say contact our department blah blah blah but thing is ive gotten too much up to rip it down and theres no way i would be able to sent what ive used back so I just have to accept my loss and try to cover the walls up the best i can with wall decor.

I have a very problematic sink wall in our kitchen, the previous owners pulled the original tile from the wall and then wallpapered over the rough drywall, they they painted over that. Needless to say that didn’t hold up well, so I ended up with peeling wallpaper coated with paint.

I forgot to mention that they also skim coated over some sections of wallpaper. Not sure what they were thinking, but after a couple of years the wallpaper got wet and started to peel up from the wall.

Since we don’t have the time or resources at the moment to put in a permanent solution I decided to buy this peel and stick stuff to see 1) if I would even like brick 2) if I could cover this bumpy, peeling wall.

The paper is thick, much thicker than other, more common peel and stick vinyl products and because it’s a rough brick it is fine over my not so perfect surface behind the sink. I love it, I spent a hour covering a major eyesore in my kitchen and also decided the brick looks pretty good.

It wouldn’t fool anyone up close, but it’s a good high res photo of real brick so it’s pretty good and it’s thick enough to hide all the irregularities on that wall. There is a pattern repeat, it’s easy to match up and it is repositionable.

For people who are sensitive to chemical smells, there is a vinyl andadhesive odor.

I read the reviews on this product and they were all extremely positive and I loved the look of the blue weathered wood, so I purchased two rolls. It was a little tricky to hang by myself but I got it up and it looks perfect, it was exactly what I was hoping for.

My problem is that any little rub against it and the print rubs right off. I put it behind my wall mounted tv and just the cord hanging has scratched off the print. I also put it at the top of the bed in our camper and just our pillows rubbing against it has removed the print.

So disappointed to have spent all that time putting it up perfectly and over $100 for something I’m just going to have to replace.

Very pleased! Pretty easy to hang and reposition (for wallpaper, which of course is always a challenge to get such long pieces straight – a second person is definitely helpful, but not necessary. I also make use of a level.

) Anyway – the best part for me! – it completely covered a handpainted children’s wall mural – the mural doesn’t show through at all! So happy about this – I thought I might have to paint the wall white first – maybe two coats – maybe sand the mural first – tons of work! (and then the instructions advise waiting four weeks before hanging wallpaper.

) But no! This pattern looks great on the wall in one step. And it is an easygoing pattern – straight tree trunks – I didn’t have to match it on the sides – I just cut 92″ lengths on the hallway floor (two per roll) and hung them next to each other – that saved work too.

The whole wall looks great after maybe 90 minutes and no mess. My preparation involved removing a duct vent, a cable plate, an outlet plate, and a switch plate plus measuring and cutting. I’m a fan now – what a great product! And if the next homeowner wants to do something else, it’s so easy to remove – this wallpaper won’t put off potential buyers if they don’t like it.

I love the look of it. If you are a perfectionist though, I could not get the pattern to match up exactly. I put the 2nd piece on several times to get it as close as possible. I ended up having to deliberately make it off pattern at the top so it could be much closer to perfect at eye level.

I succeeded and it doesn’t drive me crazy that it’s much more off at the top and bottom. It still looks great. And the easy peel off also works really well. It is tough material and I didn’t tear it at all even with my repeated peeling and re-sticking.

This paper went up so easily and really looks like brick. People have had to come up and touch it to believe its not brick. Definitely recommend.

It was an amazing background in my wall to go behind my red refrigerator

I’ve used this product in 3 different applications. A feature wall in the living room, with moderate temperatures, where it performs exceptionally well. I also used it in a guest room which is not heated when not in use.

It soon began to loosen in some areas. Third application was on a (unused) chimney which had been plastered over. It stuck better than expected. \nI have found a solution to the loosened areas. If occurring along a corner edge, simply apply a strip of clear acrylic corner guard (available in paint departments).

It will provide the necessary support while remaining nearly invisible. If loosening appears mid-seam on a wall, using a strip of flat, clear acrylic works. \nMy take away is that the adhesive performs better in moderate room temperatures.

I will continue to use it and cope with these issues rather than struggle with conventional wallpaper!\n.

Love love love! OK, I bought these and started putting them on the wall and realized that I did not have enough. I ordered a second batch and what arrived were a little different color which you could totally tell so I could not put it on the wall.

I ended up returning them and then buying another batch, just more rolls. If you order these, just make sure you order enough the first time because the next order may vary in color. I live in an apartment and these absolutely transformed it I get so many compliments on these.

The brand is wall pops and they are amazing. They are easily removable and Zulily often has them at a really good price.

I bought this last week and it took me about 3 hours to put it up. I put it up on one wall in the bedroom as a feature wall! It looks just like the photos, it is really nice and I would recommend! There are comments below saying it didn’t stick.

Perhaps they didn’t wash their walls? Or there was something on their walls before that didn’t allow it to stick. But I had regular painted walls and it was amazing! Make sure to get a level, knife and a tool to smooth the wallpaper.

The reason for 4 out of 5 is because putting it up in the corners was super hard. i wish there was reference material on how to do that. This is also my first time. But overall, I recommend!!.

I recently renovated the basement for our children to have a playroom. There is a half wall that I wanted to accent. I found Roommates to have a brick wall that looks so real you have to touch it to believe it! When I received the “wall”, I could tell by touch the material was extremely durable.

I followed the directions given and laid out on the carpet the pattern before placing on the wall. This was a little difficult to match up, probably because I was doing a half wall instead of a full wall.

I started with the far left side of the wall and worked my way around As I peeled a section of the backing off the brick wall, the material was very strong and thick but pliable. It was of very nice quality.

I placed the section on the wall and slowly peeled away the backing while smoothing the “bricks” onto the wall. I had to adjust a little so it would be level. Once on, the edges did not pull away nor were there any bubbles.

I loved it! I did have four outside corners to work with but found it very easy to do. I used the same technique and even with a few adjustments, due to wall being uneven, I got a beautiful result. So even with my uneven walls, corners and multiple adjustments, these stuck beautifully with no bubbles or peeling edges.

I am so pleased with Roommates Brick wall. I will definitely be looking for more ideas on how to use their vast line of fun choices to decorate my walls!.

Easy to apply with a little patience and planning. Followed instructions & had no issues. Repeating pattern was easy to match from one strip to the next but enough variation in the pattern to appear authentic.

Fun project that took our humble little basement wine room to another level.

I was excited to receive this peel & stick to put up in my RV. The colours were true to the picture and the graphics were crisp and clear. Then I realized after I’d gotten the first strip on the wall that there is no repeat pattern therefore it’s either not going to match at the seam or I’m going to waste a ton of paper.

How disappointing.

The matching was more involved than I anticipated but overall this is a great fresh new look to the backsplash in the kitchen. Even when the sticky sides met it was fairly easy to pull them apart again.

I used this wallpaper as a backsplash in my kitchen and it looks a lot better and brighter. I’m very pleased with the look of it. It was more labor-intensive than I had anticipated, and I agree with other reviewers that having two people is essential.

I was worried the wallpaper would stick and not allow to reposition and reapply but we did not have that problem. We did use the Windex trick, spraying various amounts but finding just a little bit is fine but a lot doesn’t hurt the paper or make it bubble up.

The bubbles were helped by a squeegie, so I would recommend one of those. Also, I noticed immediate bubbles went away with smoothing the next day, maybe after the Windex dried. All in all, a great product.

My only irk was that I felt the back of the paper could have been lined, since trying to cut along the lines in any given brick sequence results in uneven cuts. We folded and cut, which worked out pretty well.

My recommendation to the company is to add lines to the back of the paper for straight cutting, like some wrapping paper rolls do. Otherwise, if you have a T-square or a long ruler, you should be fine.

I had worked with peel and stick wallpapers before and really liked the idea of brick behind my vanity. Other peel and sticks I’ve used are much heavier than this product; this product felt, and stretched, like contact paper instead of ‘wallpaper’.

Matching up the bricks on seam was impossible without having to cut and paste sections, thus creating more seams. Any, and I mean any, imperfections in the wall are glaringly apparent, since it’s so thin.

Not worth $34. 00!! I could have bought a quality pre-pasted wallpaper for that! It would have gone on easier, as well. Please. don’t waste your money and the hair you will pull out in the process of TRYING to put this up and make it look nice.

Should get my money back just for the time I wasted.

It looks real! Was harder than most peel and stick wallpapers to use because of the lining up but other than that, looks really beautiful. Using in my full bar area in basement.

The picture of the wallpaper doesn’t do it justice. It is perfect and we have gotten so many compliments on it. We put it in our son’s room and he loves it too! It was supposed to take 10 days or so to get to us but it came in 3.

Paper is good quality. Experience with Wal-Mart and Wayfair was very good. No complaints at all.

Beautiful wallpaper .. I was a bit worried about ordering it without seeing it in person but it turned out great!!It is very durable as well and doesnt get damaged easily while working with it

This wallpaper is awful to attempt to hang, with major problems matching the print meaning that the offset is no where near the 26cm claimed, and is in fact more like 50-60cm minimum. the bricks are pixelated when printed, and it looks little to nothing like the picture advertised – is much lighter than this.

Added to this is the fact that this paper is so thin it was tearing whilst trying to negotiate corners that with alternative papers we have never had a problem with. after attempting to hang the first roll we gave up and replaced with an alternative paper, returning the rest to Wilko.

Art house wallpaper is one of my favourites. This one provides an eye catching feature wall. I thought it might be slightly over the top but I was very wrong, it is beautifully balanced with subtle hues, and gives my living room that modern rustic feel.

Easy to apply, although the repeat is something like 60cm this is expected because of the intense detailing. Couldn’t be happier.

Only just had the wall decorated in this old brick wallpaper. Avnt ad wallpaper in any walls for years now. Just had 1wall in kitchen papered. Looks brill. Good quality paper. Goes on wall lovely and looks great.

Cheapest roll was on ebay. In all shops a co uple of pounds dearer. Great product.

Was dubious when I opened the box to see the paper. It seemed thinner compared to other papers and I honestly thought that problems lay ahead in hanging this. I was wrong. Didn’t stretch much which is very important when hanging a matching wallpaper as you don’t want it to be all over the place.

Cut easily using a caulking blade and snap off Stanley blades. Very surprised at how easy this was to hang and a lovely feature wall when finished. I wish that they did it in a vinyl finish as it is a cracking wallpaper.

I bought this for our utility cupboard that needed some inspiration. It looks lovely and hung well on the wall. Very pleased. Second lot of wallpaper from wilkos. Excellent quality for the price.

We bought 2 rolls in total, for a feature wall in the kitchen. Looks lovely, with a little distressed look to look real. Good quality, easy to hang. Also delivery was brilliant, was here within 2 days.
