20 Best Thanksgiving Food Gifts (2022 Updated)

This was a gift for someone. It arrived on time but three pieces of fruit were already rotten and the small ice pack under the cheese was warm as was the cheese. We had to go purchase more to add to the basket as we lost 4 items in it before it ever got delivered.

Fruit had to bad when it was packed to send out.

I was so excited to receive the Bonnie & Pop Dried Fruit Gift Basket unfortunately the excitement soon faded to disappointment. Upon opening the package the first thing I noticed was the kiwi looked as if it could glow in the dark so I knew there had to be artificial color involved.

I turned to the ingredients and I was right there were artificial colors used along with sugar! I can’t see how covering the fruit with sugar could be considered healthy! I along with my husband tasted each and every piece of fruit in the tray and the only one that had any flavor other than sugar were the dates.

The fruit pieces that have added sugar had no other flavor than that of the sugar which we found much too sweet. The ones without sugar (with the exception of the dates) we bland and flavorless. While there was a nice variety of fruit there may be some that are not familiar and you would just have to guess what you ate since there isn’t anything other than a list of fruits to help you identify them.

The fruit comes with a bag to store your fruit in once you have opened it that has a zippered closure. Also included in the basket is a very cute wooden apple basket. It starts out looking like a flat board but is quickly transformed into a nice wooden apple basket.

It will take you under a minute to have the cute basket ready for fruit. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this fruit basket.

The dried fruit tray was fresh and colorful. The fruit included is listed on the box. I like dried fruit and some I was familiar with the taste and some I was not. The kiwi was very colorful and really sweet but the seeds were not that tasty.

The mango was really sweet, delicious, and recognizable. The rest of the dried fruit tasted like regular dried fruit. The presentation was beautiful. The basket opens up into a sturdy wood fruit basket.

It is a great conversation piece and it was easy to develop. I actually removed my boring metal fruit basket and replaced it with the one enclosed. They conveniently included a storage bag for when you open the fruit.

The bag was big enough to just slide the fruit tray into it; meaning you did not rearrange the assortment. The storage bag kept the fruit fresh for over a week at room temperature. The basket makes this a great gift for someone that enjoys dried fruit.

I have placed apples and oranges inside of the fruit basket and it is very sturdy. I am not sure the effect that the wood would have on the fruit and the fact that it is not as ventilated and open as a wire or metal basket.

So far my apples have been in there two days and I have not seen an effect on the ripening.

It was fun trying all the different varieties of fruit. The trivet/basket was a bonus, although the price seems a little high. The whole family enjoyed tasting the fruit and picking out their favorite.

The peach was very tough. So tough, in fact, that I couldn’t bite into it. The dates have pits, so be careful. It came with mainly apple slices, which was my favorite. Everyone liked the mangos. The plums were interesting.

I liked them but others didn’t. The apricots were delicious. Some liked the kiwi and some did not. They were very strong-tasting. There weren’t very many pears and I don’t think anyone cared for them.

The prunes were ok. Overall, this would be a fun gift for someone, but expensive. The basket seems sturdy enough but I’m afraid of it breaking because it moves so much. When my daughter saw the basket, she was very excited and said it’s much nicer than the ine we have, which is metal.

I did not get the privilege of seeing the final product, as it was sent to a friend, but the way she described it painted a picture in my mind that made me feel like my money was well spent. She loved the packaging, and the items.

Her exact final comment was, “I will be enjoying these treats with my pinky up!”.

I ordered a basket 4 days before Christmas to arrive on Christmas Eve and it made it. My client has received many baskets over the years and said this was his the first one that he enjoyed all the contents.

We purchased 13 of these for some of our company’s customers. We also ordered one for ourselves just to see firsthand what we had purchased. Our package arrived on the requested date. The products were fresh.

We still have a couple things that we haven’t tried yet, but the oranges were HUGE and delicious! The cheeses were also very good (we liked the savory garlic the best). The mini pretzels were also very tasty.

There isn’t a huge amount of each product, but it is displayed nicely and is more than enough for one person. We shared between 4 people and still had plenty, just to give you an idea. Our only concern is that we paid extra for the personalized greeting card and because it was attached to the outside of the delivery box, we are afraid our clients may have missed it and have no idea who the gift was from.

I, personally, looked straight at the outside of the box and didn’t realize the card was enclosed despite it stating that on the outside. I think it was because I was expecting the card to be inside WITH the gift, therefore I was n’t really looking.

It’s Tuesday and they were delivered Friday, and thusfar none of our customers have said anything, so we’re hoping #1 they received them o. k. #2 that they saw the card on the outside, & #3 that they enjoyed the gift.

This was a gift and I did not see it so it’s hard for me to rate. All I can say is the recipient seemed delighted and said the basket and contents were lovely. She seemed very pleased to receive it. This was my first experience with this site but I plan to use again.

Gift was delivered as promised, and it was during busy holiday period. And there was a nice selection to choose from.

This was my second time ordering this 9pc exotic box and they were just as wonderful! The only thing I was as disappointed with was that they seemed to be all the same 9 flavors I had the last time. So it felt a bit boring that I didn’t get any new flavors.

My sister sent this to us after we’d hosted her for a week. The Belgian truffles are delicious and the Sea Salt Caramel Cookie Straws are exquisite. I tasted one and it melted in my mouth. They are so good that I’ve hidden them from my husband.

The Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are on target as well. I’ll have to pace myself with this yummy assortment!.

Good friends sent us a house warming gift of the Ultimate Snack Gift Basket and we loved everything in it (as we always do Stonewall Kitchen products. ) But another thing that was so impressive was the beautiful presentation of the gift basket which promised wonderful items inside and sure delivered.

We had been wondering what to do for four neighbors who had kindly put up with our house building for a year and a half and decided the gift basket would be perfect. And it was! They were absolutely delighted with their gifts and each made the comment that there was so much in the basket and that everything was so delicious.

But the other thing I was so impressed with was Stonewall Kitchen’s customer service. The customer service in York, Maine is literally the best I have Ever found. They went out of their way to help us track down the sender of our gift since with all the moving stuff, we had discarded the box! And then when I had a question about the online order, I called the same fabulous rep back and she offered to just place the order for me with all the different addresses.

With the day I was having, I needed that! She was fantastic and very indicative of what the entire company is about. They deliver both excellent products and excellent service! I love Stonewall Kitchen!!!.

Totally embarrassed as my recipients did not receive their holiday greeting and did not even know I was the sender. I am certain I included the gift message as I reviewed it at least twice in the checkout.

But it was not included in the package that was sent, according to my recipients. Unacceptable. This was an expensive gift that turned out to be a humiliating experience. Holiday nightmare!.

As Mother’s Day approached I started scanning the internet for something for Mom. Flowers are nice, but you look at them for a few days then toss them in the trash. Then, I discovered Fairytale Brownies! Of all the edible gifts and gift baskets available, these really caught my eye.

Our CEO is a brownie fanatic and I sent him a box of Fairytale Brownies for his birthday earlier this year. He raved about them so I decided to try using Fairytale for our corporate client gifts this year.

In the past I have sent popcorn, cookies, fancy wrapped pears. but nothing was as well received as these amazing brownies were. We are hearing RAVES from our clients about how sinfully delicious they are (and a few arguments over who ate the last one!).

The incredible customer service at FB made it so easy to order for many clients at once. They even included a gift cards and packaging bearing or corporate logo which makes such a difference in the presentation.

The individual packaging of the brownies is also perfect for sending to offices during Covid. I was even sent a lovely and generous gift of brownies for placing my order. I will be using Fairytale Brownie’s for all my business gift needs from now on!.

A good turkey dinner for the money. Plenty of white meat turkey and mashed potatoes, Just a few cons. Sodium level is a bit high, so this should not be eaten every day. Potatoes are a bit gritty. And not enough stuffing and gravy.

Turkey is great, as well as the veggies. The veggies are nice and crisp. Wish it had more gravy and stuffing. The dessert is nice and sweet. A meal that will fill you up.

Some of these are decent. Not this one. Nothing cooks the same so your potatoes are not done when your meat/everything else is done. Not seasoned properly. Very small portions for a ‘hungryman’ dinner.

Seems like a regular TV dinner size portion just on a bigger plate. Not enough stuffing. Had to hit everything with salt and pepper. Butter the veg and potatoes. Added salt, pepper and poultry season to the meat/tablespoon of dressing/gravy side.

seriously where is the stuffing?? Buttered some bread. Guess what. Still hungry.

Who ever says this is good, is out of their mind. Does t cook worth a dang. Anything you gotta disassemble to get it to cook is pitiful. Gravy tastes powdered, the mashed potatoes never cook all the way.

The vegetables are flavorless and rubber by the time you cook it to death to get the nasty mashed potatoes to almost cook. The dressing isnt much better. Total fail for a company that had they crud together.

No longer will I purchase anything from them.

So disappointed. Entire center is marzipan with a thin layer under the dark chocolate that is hard and barely tastes like hazelnut. No “nougat“ whatsoever as described. I’ve always brought these back from Austria and was hoping they would be at minimum similar.

My son said to me … what is in this chocolate that makes it so good? I grew up eating Mozartkugel when relatives brought it from Europe. It is so great finding it here locally. Just fabulous!

The maple snacks are yummy, the price is reasonable, and the shipping is consistently fast. I ordered Sunday evening, they went out first thing Monday, and all arrived in various parts of the country by Friday, in time for Christmas! Hi, I will be very honest that i am one of those moms who Do Not buy packaged snacks/sweets for their families. In my household everything is made home from scratch , and when i say everything that means literally everything.

Nothing can really cheer up your friends during a time of loss. So we sent them the most delicious chocolate brownies in existence. They were so delicious, we got notes from several people that thanked us for a thoughtful gift and also compliments on the individual packages (it was still high transmission of covid-19 in their area).

The treats that were not immediately devoured were happily tucked into purses and bags, and helped lots of folks drown sorrows with exceptional chocolate brownies and a few blondies. These brownies and blondies are soft, sweet, come in many flavors that suit many tastes, and if you don’t eat them all the day they arrive, the individually packaged tiny treats stay fresh for a while.

The product was delicious! The assortment of goodies was just right and was a reat gift to give! They were sent out pretty fast, the recipients got them before Christmas.

Very disappointed in the actual product vs. the marketed version. Unopened and unable to return. waste of $75. 00. we are embarrassed to give this to our friends and will be purchasing them something better.

I loved all the individual boxed items! This made it easier to break up the set and give as more than one gift.

This turkey lunchmeat tasted so gooey and slimy to me that I had to basically nuke it in the microwave in order to make it more palatable to my taste buds! And it wasn’t because it was going bad!  it’s just naturally that way! .

I have been buying this religiously for the last 6 months or so. It is some of the best turkey lunch meat that I have had and you cannot beat the price. This is the EXACT same thing that comes in the plastic container, so save your money and get this “bagged” version instead.

Tastes just as good as name brand. There are two versions of the same item – one in this zip pouch and another in a snap container. The pouch on this one works well and it was more than $1 less! Definitely would look into repurchasing.

Let’s just start with serendipity. The Turkey arrived from a small town in Kansas that my now deceased mom was from. Blew me away!!! Not really being a big fan of turkey I was pleasantly surprised to find that I not only liked this one, but I loved this one.

I sent this to my sister, who is caring for our 94 year old aunt. They both got covide and I wanted to send some love. I remember seeing this on the Today show, so I decided to try it out. They both loved it and when I asked if they would like me to send another batch, they said Yes please!! My sister enjoys cooking and is very opinionated about what she eats and the chicken noodle soup got 5 stars from her! So, Thank You for making a scrumptious product.

While everything in the gift basket was stellar, and I LOVE all of the products I have ever purchased, I was a bit taken back by the packaging of the gift basket. It was shipped to me very quickly and I received it in two days.

After I received it, I realized the site does say packaging colors may vary, but I guess I didn’t expect for it to be packaged all in light pink with a pink Lacey bow. It’s intended purpose was for a man who is an older gentleman who was retiring.

I had to take the packaging apart and place it in a gift bag. I am 100% sure he will love the gift, but I was just not to thrilled with the gift basket packaging. I should have just packaged it myself, but with covid-19 I was looking to eliminate a trip to the store.

Would have helped if it was a neutral color.

One of the basil olive oils leaked out of the glass bottle because it was cracked and it got all over the inside of the box. Otherwise I was satisfied with my order. I’m not sure how feasible it would be to beef up the cap on the bottles by having a single seal similar to carbonated beverage seals or a screw top wine bottle.
