highly recomend this for anyone that is having to deal with ADD/ADHD. i was told aboout it by my therapist while we were tring to come up with a plan to help my little girl deal with ADD and school. it helps you take a look at ADD and its afects on the brain and the every day life of anyone having to deal with it.

we are taking the infomation from this book and tring to help without med’s at this time. although it may one day be nessasary for us to use med’s along with what we have learned the book has helped us understand what ADD is and how to help both at home and school.

The book is in a very old yellowish and dry condition, I try not to fold the pages so they won’t break. Eccept for the poor condition it’s in, the information I was looking for was contained in it, it is sad that the book will not last long.

My doctor and counselor recommended it. It was EXTREMLEY helpful. I would recommend it to anyone dealing with this issue. It is a little outdated on a few medication issues but otherwise it is wonderful and has a lot of helpful information.

I wanted to keep a copy on hand for reference.

This is a good read for anyone with ADHD – I was diagnosed quite late in life and this book and found this book to be very helpful. It’s written for people with ADHD which I found particularily helpful.

There’s a follow-up book called “Delivered from Distraction” by the same two authors.

Do you need to help understand your personal problem with distractiion ( ADD ) or your child or teen? This book will help all persons effected to better understand, to , improve everyones path forward for better life, better living, better relations, school, or working performance.

Lots of stories that cover characteristics you will relate to if you have ADHD. Nice list of common symptoms to help verify a suspected diagnosis. Not focused on “tests,” but rather challenges in daily life.

Covers the “hypo-active” side of ADHD (daydreamers, not interrupters, that make up around 25% of us); this is what our family deals with, and it’s not easily diagnosed. It will help prepare you for doctor’s visits and dealing with ADHD in life.

I actually purchased a power drill and installed this myself. My son is 7 and he swings like there’s no tomorrow. I also purchased the swivel attachment which I can’t live without now. He spins and spins, he absolutely loves it.

I purchased a cheaper sensory swing prior to this one and recently it started to get a tear in it from excessive use after only a month or two. This swing on the other hand is very strong and I expected to last a very long time.

I’m very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend.

I have three children that fight over who’s going to use the sensory swing first everyday since it went up. Other than the fighting, ive noticed how much it’s calmed them down. I can see how soothing it is for them.

I purchased both the pod and the compression and the kids naturally go to the swing first and use the pod while they wait for the swing. One thing I think can improve is the blow up cushion isnt comfortable at all.

If it was a foam cushion It would be more popular between the two. It is quite uncomfortable and difficult to find balance when on it. Another suggestion is different selection of colors. Other than that, great products.

I am waiting to see if there is a sale because I am hoing to purchase another compression swing.

My kids were getting too big for the old baby swing that we have had on our front porch since they were born. I thought this would be a great alternative. The directions did not really make sense to me as I was reading them, but actually doing what was said to set the swing up was super easy.

Because I already had hooks in my porch that I use the swing was up in less than 5 minutes. I spent more time reading the directions a couple of times trying to figure out what it was asking me to do than it took me to actually do it.

(Just follow the directions whether it makes sense to you or not. )Theoretically I think I would have liked the swing to have been a single piece of fabric that connect at the top and bottom instead of a single piece of faberic that was sewn along the upright area.

The way it is, you are sitting inside an O of fabric with openings on the front and back (or if you are facing fabric in the front, while leaning back on fabric, you have two arm holes). There is plenty of fabric there to hold you in and keep you safe and be comfortable.

But if you want you can also bunch the fabric together and sit on a thick rope of fabric. (This of the difference between a hood and a scarf. )My kids love it. I think it is decently comfortable myself (as a 200 lb guy) and I am now tempted to get a second one and figure out where to hang another so my kids stop fighting over who’s turn it is.

Bought for an ADHD/dyspraxic daughter, the book has useful ideas that helped me to see the world from her perspective and to rethink and reorganise her space to make life easier and tidier. The author puts function ahead of form with common sense ideas – a shift from most decluttering and organising thinking which aims for beauty and minimalism.

The book tackles each room in a house and breaks it down into projects which are very manageable if you have ADHD. A great resource.

The Lay it Flat version of the book is a must have. It really allows you to immediately pick up where you left off, and with my ADHD, if I get distracted I can return back to exactly where I left off with no effort.

I took a chance on this format, my first Lay It Flat Book and now I’m wondering if I can get all my future books in this format. They’re on to something here! As for the content of the book, she is spot on with advice.

Make the investment into yourself and reorganize your life from the ADHD perspective. It’s making a difference for me.

ADHD makes cleaning and basic organization frustrating and more difficult than for those without. This has shown my husband and I (both have ADHD) different ways to approach the process. We are just beginning to apply some of the ideas, but I can tell it’s going to be really helpful in the long run, because it respects the positives of ADHD individuals (creativity, efficiency, and innovative thinking) and empathizes, instead of chastising, by using methods that are out of the box and non-judge mental.

Worth the buy for fellow ADHD brains struggling with clutter and mess.

I had purchased this book years ago and lent it to so many people who found it helpful. Unfortunately, it never found its way back home to me. Very glad to have been able to purchase another copy. So many of us group people into one category for ADD and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Since entering perimenopause, I’ve been unhappy with the texture and appearance of my skin. I’d been using Roc’s Retinol Correxion Max Daily Hydration Creme with great success, but wanted to step up my game without going down the prescription skincare route.

Enter A313 Pommade. My first night’s use: wash face, apply two pumps Vichy 89 to still wet face and let dry completely. Having a grandson who has ADHD and Autism, this book gave me an excellent insight and understanding of his journey. It also gave me an insight into the early years of my journey. It helped me understand the issues that I faced as a child.

I guess I would call it self analysis.

Could really relate to the content. Helped me to understand better the childhood emotional underpinnings of my ADD. Dr Mate’s warmth, wisdom and compassion radiate from the pages. Definitely would recommend to others.

I absolutely love this brand. I cannot explain how well this product has worked. I feel such a difference in my everyday life. Ashwagandha has improved my mood tremendously. I have very bad pms, I always felt extremely emotional right before my period and actually pretty much most of the time.

No-one would have guessed a year ago we would all be homeschooling our kids. Life throws you curve balls and you just have to learn how to manage. With four kids at home, all in different grades and a Mom who was not meant to teach her own kids, it’s been rough.

Chaos at times. This has really been a game changer for not one, but all of my kids. Within a few days we noticed the changes. The littlest was less rowdy and stayed in his seat more. Not getting up 4000 times like he had been prior.

My older ones seem more focused and energized throughout the day. They didn’t mind the flavor. Some like it alone, while some I easily add it to juice. It is easily mixed and comes with the right dosage in the scooper.

I absolutely love this product! The first day I gave this to my child I didn’t notice much of a difference. After around 2 days is when I noticed a difference. My son has a lot of trouble being able to concentrate now that he is doing online learning.

I was very excited to have my kids try this. I followed the package directions and mixed the power in water, the kids tried it and thought the taste was good but had a gritty texture. After they sat the drink down for a couple minutes we noticed that there was a thick layer of the power that settled on the bottom of the glass.

Each time they wanted to drink, it needed to be remixed. This was a big turn off for them and they now refuse to drink it. The gritty texture is difficult for children who have sensory issues. I think the idea is fantastic but the product needs to be fixed to allow it to dissolve into cold liquids better so it is more palatable.

I bought this because I am an aspiring Webtoon artist and holy crap I can’t focus on work for crap. who knows what was the culprit for feeling ill that day let’s be real here also as i said in the title, nothing ever works on them anyways. they have a few medical issues and constantly have to switch allergy medicines and topical remedies for their eczema or else they lose efficacy.

we also take melatonin from time to time to help us sleep if our shifts rotate from night to morning and i only need to take two and i’m out and they take like, eight, and nothing. maybe it’s the placebo effect.

maybe it’s not. even if it IS placebo, placebos are great anyways. idk. it’s working for me so. that’s gotta count for something?.

I tried brainzyme elite on a recommendation from a friend. I had been suffering from depression for a year or two. I’m not keen on medication but I had to try prescription drugs eventually as there were no options left.

Id tried positive thinking, meditation, affirmations, councelling, subliminal messages etc. But there came a point when I had to accept there was some kind of chemical inbalance in my brain. The background situation included divorce, ptsd from fire and rescue service, finances etc.

Didn’t want to talk to anyone, had suicidal thoughts. Anyway, started by taking 2 brainzyme in the morning and one in the afternoon (could feel it wear off after 8 hours). I noticed a marked difference in mood by the second day! After a few weeks I returned to work.

I was a bit unsure about Brainzyme at first because I’m very sensitive to caffeine. I love coffee, but after I turned 30 even one cup makes me jittery and anxious. Brainzyme gives me all the goodness of a few cups of coffee without all the unpleasant side effects.
