20 Best Therapy For Bpd (2022 Updated)

I have BPD. I found this book to be completely useless. It is just a senario a story of someone struggling with a felling (which in my case, most were unrelatable) a solution was given which for in my opinion were unhelpfully to say the least.

This is not a book that will educate you it just provides a story and a solution or method you can use. I have found free apps on my android to help with the negativity going around my head. Waste of money and time.

My suggestion is find a book on cbt or bpd written by a Psychologist and do your research on them and their area of expertise first.

For me as a senior with BPD, not diagnosed until i was in my 60’s, an uncommon situation I acknowledge, but in some respects, possibly a more difficult & isolating age group, so maybe I am not contributing anything of value.

I did find that the book almost exclusively deals with a much younger demographic, which is fine as the majority of sufferers are young people. Something I did find helpful, were the simply & plainly stated scenarios for a given problem, together with the recommended action.

These were valuable for any age group. This book bears constant dipping into & re-reading in order to garner the most value from the highly qualified authors. Anyone who has BPD climbs mountains every day, this book gives us a “map” to follow.

A great reference, particularly for sufferers of borderline personality disorder (BPD). It provides evidence-based, practical and useful information to help sufferers understand the disorder and deal with it’s symptoms.

It’s quite easy to use, with clearly set out chapters which address specific symptoms and provides check lists and exercises for dealing with them. It is a very good book to give as a gift to someone with BPD, particularly someone who has been recently diagnosed.

This is so handy when used with the YouTube videos and other online resources. I have had health care providers say they are not interested in treating BPD and it’s hard to get help. This allows you to help yourself and really understand why you behave the way you do and how to get over it.

Bought the book to understand treatment for BPD. After reading I came away with a complete understanding of ways to control this illness.

This is a great tool to use for managing my BPD traits and learning more about myself and the condition. It’s not overwhelming and it encourages you to go at your own pace. I really like it.

I bought this for a family member and had a flick through. So I’m not talking about an in-depth review. I’m concerned that what the author(s) identify here as myths (people with BPD are violent and dangerous and people with BPD are manipulative and attention seeking) is a harsh reality for many who are close to someone with BPD.

Violence doesn’t have to mean murderous spree. It can be emotional abuse. Manipulation doesn’t have to be masterminding an evil scheme. It can be lies. And these are two very common traits of people with BPD.

The fact that their condition predisposes them to these behaviours doesn’t mean that the behaviours should be disqualified as myth. Now that family member can come to us waving the Book showing these two myths.

Although he has been violent. And he has manipulated. Continuously, for year. I found Stop Walking on Eggshells and I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me more helpful.

A must read. The Borderline Personality Disorder Survival Guide is organized as a series of answers to questions common to BPD sufferers: What is BPD? How long does it last? What other problems co-occur with BPD? Overviews what we currently know about BPD make up the first section of the book.

Later chapters cover several common treatment approaches to BPD: dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mentalization-based therapy (MBT), and medical treatment using psychoactive drugs. In the last sections of the book, readers learn a range of day-to-day coping skills that can help moderate the symptoms of BPD.

I’m not much of a reader normally. But I was curious about this book, due to suffering from BPD myself. I am halfway through so far and I am finding it extremely helpful. It explains BPD a lot clearer than majority of the websites.

Padget, during her 2-year-long therapy. In stunning honesty and depth of self-exploration, she revealed how a person with borderline trait thinks, feels and reacts to the outside world. The episodes (of her sessions with Dr.

Padget) are often very intense, and it may quite probably resound intensely with those who have experience with BPD — either in themselves or in loved ones. In the latter case, it provides an excellent “endoscope” for non-BPs to develop an understanding and empathy with their loved ones.

What I found most touching is the author’s message of love and hope, which are so crucial for those who are still struggling. As she puts it at the end of the book: “. the reason I wrote this book is to serve as a proof that miracles do happen, that love can and does heal wounds, and there is hope for those with the courage and fortitude to seek healing.

“.

I have only read just over 100 pages before I had to loan it out to a therapist friend. If the other 300 + pages read like the first 100, then I know I will enjoy reading the book. It is emotionally difficult to read though.

Knowing it is true, makes it even harder. What I love most is the candid way in wihich the author tells her story. I have read several books in an attempt to better understand our daughter who suffers from BPD.

This book makes it possible to understand it from the inside looking out, rather than the outside looking in. Superb writing job! I could do without the strong language, but I do understand that the language is as much a part of her life as any other lifelong habit or skill she possesses.

Read very quickly. She relays her struggles so well, and keeps the content interesting. The intertwining between her thoughts and the conversations with her therapy are well played. The content has made me cry at times and realize that though our situations are different, that recovery is possible.

She has given me hope as I was just diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and was really pessimistic about my own situation. Her ups and downs are well written and the book is by far the best psychology book I have read.

I literally read the forward 3 times and put book down. Tears followed as I felt heard, validated, and finally supported. It is very difficult dealing with a family with BPD and who are in denial. Thank you for this book and I can’t wait to finish reading book.

I found this book a great resource for understanding and helping a loved one with BPD. Originally I checked it out of the local library, but quickly found the information provided would be a good addition to my personal library and decided to order this book.

Easy to read and understand. Author has a sister who most likely had BPD, so his passion to help people and family is from first hand concern and desire to truly help. Also interesting that a low dose of antipsychotic medication worked to help control emotions and impulsive behavior so that BPD persons could benefit from therapy to change their perceptions and responses for better quality of life.

This is a really helpful book for loved ones and the sufferer. Concise, sadly USA based so not helpful for UK patients, but as an all round book to understand how BPD affects people, its really helpful.

Id highly recommend. I especially liked the bit about children and adhd being a possible precursor to BPD as Im convinced this is a genetic condition that has run through my family and is now affecting a grandchild.

This is a terrifically well written book. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

It was about four years ago that I attended one-on-one DBT for Borderline Personality. Since I am currently unable to afford to attend psychology sessions, this book has been ammmmazing to work through alone.

It not only to reinforce and refreshes the skills I had previously learnt four years ago, but it also introduced helpful skills I had not yet learnt with my therapist. The book is an actual workbook.

It is interactive. It has worksheets to fill out, thoughtful activities to try, charts and logs to complete, and even meditations! This book is also for anyone and everyone. If you cannot afford to attend therapy, or you’re looking for a refresher of the skills you once learnt, or a workbook as you’er attending DBT, or even a friend or family member of someone who’s going through DBT, this book is perfect! I highly recommend this book, and DBT, not just for Borderline personality, but anyone who wants a more mindful and balanced life!.

As a therapist I was hoping this book would give me some useful tools to use with clients. Frankly, some of the suggested activities range from mediocre to downright dangerous! For self-harming clients it’s suggested to simulate cutting by using red nail polish on your wrists, for abused clients to actually confront their abusers, to socially isolate yourself when experiencing “feelings of loneliness”, and other questionable advice.

As a professional I know how to take these suggestions with a grain of salt but I am afraid that untrained individuals may participate in such dangerous activities.

This was actually purchased as a gift for my daughter who has BPD and an eating disorder. She struggles with many situations and emotions and I really wanted to do something to help. The fact that she has a degree in Psychology can be quite unhelpful, as anything too simplistic doesn’t really work for her.

Having done some research I knew that this type of approach was known to be helpful for people living with this awful condition. I’m happy to say that she really liked the book and finds it very helpful.

It moisturizes for 24 hours, so that is beneficial. It has done more than I was expecting. It’s the therapeutic lotion I use every day. It doesn’t matter, day or night, winter or summer, fall or spring.

I use this skin moisturizer each and every day to maintain suppleness and protection. Because it’s fragrance-free, I use a little musk oil to add a gentle aroma. The only complaint about these pump dispensers is that a lot of lotion is left at the bottom.

I would end up cutting the bottom of the bottle and scrapping it into a travel bottle. Overall, I am happy with the results. Highly recommend !!!.

Started using this for my daughter with sensitive skin. She suffers from eczema was having really bad breakouts all over her back, bottom legs. I tried a bunch of stuff, aveeno included nothing helped.

Some irritated her skin more. I asked around someone suggested I try this, I’ve been using it ever since. This is the only lotion she uses. It does great locking in moisture. It’s not oily doesn’t leave a sticky feeling behind either.

It’s thick but not super thick. This helped relieve her eczema now that she’s been using consistently she no longer has breakouts. Even the scaring from old breakouts have gone away. It doesn’t smell the best, smells medical but I don’t mind.

It gets the job done for sure! If anyone is suffering from bad eczema breakouts I definitely recommend this!.

Lubriderm is a 5 star lotion. I have never been a lotion fan because of the greasy feel left on your skin after you use it. Lubriderm does not leave a greasy feel but does moisturize your skin. Years ago Lubriderm lotion was recommended by a dermatologist to my parent following healing of several burns.

I have tried other lotions but Lubriderm is the very best. We always keep two bottles on hand. It cost more than other lotions but it’s worth it.

I have someone close to me in my life that sometimes experiences very intense triggers, where reality seems to be altered, and their body “believes” they are in a totally different place & time, experiencing something horrible that is not *actually* occurring, but their nervous system is experiencing “in effigy,” so to speak.

During some of these times, their body gets completely locked up and they become immobile. However, they are present enough to be able to utter maybe a few words, and to grant me permission to use the Theragun on them in the places on their body where they tend to store stress.

Every time we do this, after a few minutes, they recover from their flashback nearly 50%-90%. The sensations and the massage action helps bring them back to the present moment, and enables them to begin moving their body again, and it helps to melt away the flashback and the hold it is having on them.

I purchased the Theragun Pro with quite some apprehension as I had never tried or even held one before. It’s quite a pricey purchase even when on offer, which is when I bought it. I was not disappointed.

Delivery was prompt to my local click and collect Waitrose store but unfortunately the classy ‘Apple-esque’ clean design box came a little damaged on one corner. not a big problem but still slightly annoying for an expensive product.

That said I really couldn’t be happier and more impressed with the Theragun itself. It’s has a quality feel and is clearly well made. The detachable batteries are a bonus and the preset massage routines on the app work well for a newcomer, although I would imagine that most will use the gun intuitively, as I did, with little or no need for the app.

that said it’s still a nice addition. As a massage gun, it’s power and effectiveness was everything I had hoped for and having used it daily I cannot quite believe how positive an effect it’s had on my sore and aching body.

The only negative would be that you cannot fit the charger and accessories into the Theragun case which is slightly inconvenient but not enough so to mark it down from the full 5 star rating I’ve given it.

This is life changing. For someone in their late 20s, who has had back pain sonce hogh school and been seeing both chiropractors and massage therapists for years, this is definitely worth the money. I don’t know that I would be able to use ot as effectively if I hadn’t learned so much about how my massage therapist works areas, becaise it is a lottle more difficult than point and press, but nothing else (cheaper percussive massagers, manual massager S shaped thing, foam rollers, tennis balls, etc) can loosen my muscles as well as this (other than my massage therapist, though she starts with the theragun to generally loosen things up).

I love the handle shape, especially because I mostly focus on akward spots to reach. I wish there was a better way to do my own back. I know there are mounts that can be bought, but I think I’m going to make one.

I can get some work on my whole back, but not as much pressure as I want, so I am kind of limiting the device’s usefulness. I think if I could just lean back into it, it would be great and even better if I don’t have to be contorting one shoulder to massage the other.

I love the power and the heads. I mostly use the dampener head, but as I get used to it, I started using the standard head on some parts. I am super tight all over, even things that don’t bother me. I feel like I have built a reliance on it, so I don’t think I could go back to not having one, but I also think I will be able to shorten or decrease the frequency of my professional massages if I use this every night.

It also feels amazing and can really put me to sleep. I don’t generally go to sleep easily unless it is late, but somehow if I use it at 9 in bed, I’ll be drifting off by 9:30, even if I’m trying to get something done.

As far as the app goes, it isn’t really all that useful. The pressure gauge is interesting, but on the routines, it sort of made me feel like I needed to grit my teeth and press harder, when I actually needed to move around the point that hurt and come at it slowly so I could do it without it hirting much (and therefore avoid spasms and tightening).

I learned that from how my massage therapist approaches bad knots, but someone who doesn’t know that could try to follow the apps guide and make things worse and believe that it must be painful to work.

Very useful book, I like that it is written by professionals. I have always been asked to journal by the mental health practitioners that I’ve seen over the years, this is a great alternative if you do no enjoy journaling.

This book is so practical, clear and effective. It has tons of compelling information and exercises to help anyone with volatile emotions and behavior to feel better and improve their outlook, and their ability to relate to others, especially in difficult circumstances.

I bought this book for my daughter who has ComplexPTSD to help her work through her stress triggers. This book has and still is very good helping work through emotions and the after effects of stressful issues.

I would recommend this book for anyone, but especially those who have mental health issues, regardless of diagnosis.

We have tried generic products and they just don’t compare to this product. First: ThermaCare sticks to your back without feeling icky. Second: It doesn’t fall off link the generic so that you won’t have to pick it up from wherever ( like the lavatory) because I forgot I have this on.

Third: I have found this to last far longer than 24 hours, frequently. I used to drive a bus and this really helped reduce my back pain. Specially when I had extended shifts. Fourth: many of the generic brand patches are smaller and don’t give as much back coverage.

I am 5’9” with a medium frame and this covers my lower vertebrae completely unlike the dinky brand product. I hope this helps.

I have been experiencing the worst cramps on the tops of my feet, up the front of my shins and in the backs of my legs below the calf muscles – every night, sometimes all at the same time to the point where I could barely stand up or walk.

I would cry with the pain and fatigue of countless sleepless nights with multiple episodes. I tried numerous products and my doctor even switched my statin, but no relief. I admit I was reluctant to try Theraworx because it seemed pricey and too good to be true, but I finally added a bottle to my grocery order and tried it the first night, spraying and rubbing into all the trouble spots and then repeating the process per the instructions.

I slept through the night without a single pain or even a twitch. Others have complained about the spray bottle, but I have found it works fine. The spray is very fine and covers a wide area so have had no trouble just sitting bedside and raising my foot and leg.

If that doesn’t work for you, spray into your hand and rub it on or try the foam. I read one review where someone used a cotton ball to apply. The effectiveness of this product is so impressive, a little experimentation and problem solving is completely worth it.

I sincerely hope you give this a try. If it doesn’t resolve your muscle cramp challenges, you may need a physician’s help to evaluate metabolic and circulatory function.

Sadly I contracted Covid-19 last month and after the main symptoms subsided I was struck with debilitation muscle cramps and some neuropathy. Even with the steroids and muslce relaxors I got limited relief.

I stumpled upon a few reviews of Theraworx and decided to try. THERAWORX gave me the relief I needed to continue working. It is easy to apply, does not have medicine smell and the relief is very quick, not quite instant, but you can feel it rather quickly.

In my case it lasts several hours. To my amazement it also has caused ZERO skin irritation. I am now in physical therapy to help with the muscle issues and again THERAWORX came to the rescue – if you have ever had intensive physical therapy you know that the aftermath of a session is often worse than the origional issue.

I hate to admit it, but I keep the bottle in my car and put it on right after therapy in the parking lot – first time I did not bring it and I coudl barely bring my left arm up to hold the steering wheel.

I always feel a little skeptical abut reviews of products like this and the people that say they never review products or that something is “AMAZING”. But my experience with this product has been wonderful.

I am not saying that it will elminate your muscle pain or bring you back to 100 percent. But it did and continues to help me deal with a very serious amount of pain in conjunction with my medication, I am positive that it is a key component in my recovery.

I will add an update once I have recovered a bit more, I ride cyclocross competitively and with so much time off the bike I am sure my training plan will include some VERY sore nights after workouts – might even need to try the joint relief.

I have started using Theraworxs because nothing else has worked. Ive tried it all including PT, massager, tenes, cortisone shots, hylaronic acid shots. Yesterday I bought Theraworxs. It worked immediately and lasted 1/2 the day! Finally relief Im not kidding constant pain from arthritic knees, hip and lower back for years is almost gone.

This is the first product I have found that stops the tugging and pulling in my lower leg muscles. My restless legs are mostly in my lower legs but also involve my knees and ankles where I have to get up every 10 minutes after thrasting my legs around in my bed so I can walk the muscles out.

Then I use a treadmill to keep my legs walking until I’m exhausted. This foaming medication is fast absorbing and quickly penetrates the skin and dries. The relief is very quick and lasting.

Could not ask for an easier treatment for leg cramps. Been using it for three or more months and keep a bottle on my counter and some stocked up. Don’t let yourself run out. The foam is easy to apply, has little to no scent and works!!!!!.

This stuff really works. I have had issues with muscle cramping and I apply it to my legs and thighs every morning and again at night. It has reduced my cramping by 90% +. I’ve been using this for about 5 years now, and this size is nice for traveling.

Helpful to understand Borderline Personality Disorder. A family member diagnosed and I didn’t know anything about it. Maybe a bit negative about the people who suffer as like everything in life there is a continuum.

I highly recommend it to anyone suffering or who knows someone suffering from BPD. I was diagnosed and immediately started stocking up on literature and by far this is one of the best books I have found on the subject.

It’s easy to understand and easy to relate to and just overall very correct on BPD and what we go through. I am going to let my close friends and family read this so they can get a better idea on what it’s like living with BPD.

I have learned a lot about myself from this book. Why I act certain ways. How to deal with situations. How to tell others of my illness. And there is a section for others to learn how to communicate with their loved ones, friends, children, etc.

I absolutely love this thing! In fact, it is my purchase of the year for 2021. I thought this was expensive for what it was when I first saw it and bought a cheap lookalike from another online store – it was rubbish so I returned it.

I then bought this as a TSV and tried it on a stiff neck, which I occasionally get from sleeping. I was amazed that within a few minutes, the pain had gone. I bet it returns in the morning, I thought.

No – in the morning the pain hadn’t returned. Since then, I have sceptically tried it out on different strains, aches and pains and I am simply staggered at how effective it is. It is far better than taking a pain killer as it also heals.

I sprained my thumb and wrist so badly, I had to wear a brace. The pain was unbearable and I stupidly forgot all about my Theragun for 2 days – agony! I very lightly used my Theragun 3 times in 24 hours and was then able to leave my brace off as I had full movement of my thumb, even though I couldn’t move it at all before, due to intense pain.

I highly, highly recommend this brilliant invention – and don’t bother buying anything similar for less, like I did.

I have arthritis in my lower spine and hip (one hip already replaced) and upper spinal issues also which makes movement really difficult. I hoped this would help loosen up the muscles around the affected areas.

It arrived today in super quick time. I immediately opened package and tried it out. Wowser! Unfortunately I initially tried on most painful area, thigh, oh my, was it sore. I swapped the hard attachment for the supersoft and moved to less painful area.

What a difference. If you have any major aches / pains, I’d recommend you use the supersoft attachment first. Strange sensation at first, but it became easier the more I used. I was gradually able to use all over affected areas.

I noticed when out walking my dog later this afternoon that I was walking much better, still painful, but the muscles definitely seemed to be working better. It’s early days, and even if I can’t progress and increase pressure and pulse setting, I think this will be a keeper.

I have been having lingering lower back and knee pain for several months and am so grateful to finally get some relief! Stretching alone wasn’t helping but using the theragun along the direction of my muscle/tendon fibers has helped shake out some knots that foam rolling wasn’t addressing.

I my Theragun Mini during virtual work meetings, before/after hikes, and sometimes while watching TV. It’s very quiet and portable. Highly recommend! Much more cost effective than PT, chiro, and massage appointments over time.

My friends with off-brand products are disappointed so I’m glad I didn’t skimp on this. I’m so thankful for the Theragun Mini putting my health back into my hands (literally).

The Theragun uses percussive therapy to do deep tension treatments and it can: reduce muscle soreness and stiffness, decrease stress, help you move easier and aid in faster warmup and recovery just to mention a few of the benefits.

It has an intuitive app with Bluetooth that offers guided routines as well as controlling the gun and other features. The Prime model is perfect because it’s smaller and lightweight, but still has the power (120 minute ion lithium battery), 16 mm amplitude for deep muscle treatment, 5 speeds and the Proprietary brushless motor with QuietForce Technology (it really is pretty quiet for what it does!).

It also has a triangle ergonomic handle design, that I really appreciate along with the other features because I have pretty bad rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain / back and spine problems that have me at a pain management center once a month.

This has 4 easy to clean, non- porous , closed cell foam attachments instead of the 5 that come with the two models above this, but I solved that by purchasing that attachment! This has a nice travel pouch and is the perfect size to travel with (they make a mini, but it looks TOO small).

This is different from any other massager because of the percussive therapy technology…it just vibrates DEEP DEEP DEEP into your muscles and tissues and it truly feels like you got a massage. I can’t believe how much it has helped with my bursitis, sciatica, and other incredibly painful areas.

Plus, it feels GREAT after a workout or a long day to release tension in my shoulders. If you’re a man, this will definitely work for you, but you may want to go bigger. If you’re a lady, especially petite, this is enough.

I recommend buying the charging stand too, btw. This is one of my favorite purchases.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis thing has changed my life. I have major hip/SI joint issues… which causes my upper leg/hip/butt/lower back muscles to tense up a lot. I went to so much physical therapy and they tried everything to help get my Piriformis muscle to relax… heat ultrasound, massage, stretches, etc.

The only thing that finally worked was dry needling. … but after six months it was irritating me again… hard as a rock. This thing is powerful enough to really get in there and give relief. It’s not feasible for me to go to physical therapy all the time for dry needling.

This has prevented any further issues, and has really changed my quality of life for the better…. It gives me significant relief. I’ve had this for almost a year and it still works as good as the day I bought it.

I use it at least once per week on average. NOTE: The different settings really just change the speed. You control the pressure by how hard you push, or don’t push. So, as far as power… don’t be worried about it pushing too hard….

You control that. The only thing I would change is the handle…. I can reach almost all areas, but a longer handle would make it easier and more comfortable to reach certain areas (center of the back, for example).

It’s important to note that I’ve never used any other massage guns. However, my sister used this one of mine, and then purchased a much cheaper one (different brand) and said it didn’t even compare. This thing gets it done!.

I have bad knees, and when I re-aggravated a meniscus tear last spring, my physical therapists (PTs) recommended that I get a TENS unit for home use. As they didn’t recommend a specific unit, I did some Internet searching and turned up the Cureve unit.

I ordered it figuring if my PTs weren’t happy with it, I’d return it and push for a better recommendation. Needless to say, they LOVED the unit! They were really impressed with the different programs that came with it.

They especially liked that it had a rechargeable battery, making it super portable, so you didn’t have to worry about plugging it into a wall somewhere to use it. Thanks to my PTs’ good work last summer, I haven’t needed to use it since.

I’m sure though if I need it again, it’ll be there to help with the needed pain relief. Plus, if I run into problems remembering how to use it, I feel confident the excellent service I received when I first ordered the unit will be there to help as well.

I finally found the PERFECT Tens Unit! I’ve been looking forever for one that met all my needs! When I stumbled upon this one, I knew immediately it was the one. I liked the simple sleek design. It’s not complicated to use and the replacement pads are not expensive.

It had very good reviews, and I can see why after using it. This unit works extremely well, and the pads stay on with no problems at all. So many of the reviewers for other units complained about the pads not sticking, that is not the case with Cureve’s Unit.

I also like the USB charging, as oppose to filling the landfill with disposable batteries. This is a very simple, straight forward unit to use. Others I looked at had too many bells and whistles and were very complicated to use.

My husband and I both have reasons for using a TENS unit. He had a degenerative disc disorder in his back and I have arthritis and other issues in my shoulder. We had TENS unit that was fairly old and I never used it.

It was too bulky for me and never had enough intensity to make it worth it to me. I saw this unit on an influencer’s post. She mentioned it did get as strong as the unit at her chiropractor’s machine and once I saw the price I figured it was worth a try.

My husband and I both used it a lot. Working at home has flared up his back issues (not as much walking and wrong ripe of chair at first). I think he used the machine daily for at least an hour, probably several more, for about 3 weeks to a month.

I’m in the middle of rehab for my shoulder so started using it on days I strength trained to help prevent muscle soreness. We were both very pleased with the unit. It does reach higher intensities than other units.

I like the different programs and that there is a massage function (I have not used the EMS). The unit is light weight and smaller than my cell phone so fits in my pocket so I can go about my day. The unit came charged and we used it about 3 weeks before we needed to charge it.

Once I realized how wonderfully relieving it is for PMS and cramps we bought a 2nd unit so we wouldn’t fight over it. I highly recommend it.

Finally, I now have some insight into what is happening to a family member who’s been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. I’ve only read half the book so far, but now have a better understanding of what a loved one is going through.

I look forward to reading on to further understand how to live with the very difficult behavior and help my loved one to better understand his symptoms.

Borderline Personality Disorder is terrible illness that is not only shocking for the individual that suffers it but also an ongoing Nightmare for the people closest to them! This book is written in a straight forward manner and explains the syndrome and its symptoms and behaviour to give loved ones a complete understanding of this horrible illness.

Often it’s as though the people afflicted with BPD act as though they’re poccessed by the devil and leaves loved ones hurt and confused and continually asking themselves “is it my fault or have I gone mad?!” The book also give insights and plans on how to combat and understand the often toxic, heartbreaking behaviour of the sufferer.

Please note this is a genuine review written by a loving partner of a 21 year older female sufferer. To use an over used cliche this is an absolute must read !.

This book is much needed by people everywhere dealing with unusual behaviour which is little understood- whether it be in the workplace, family, their marriage or partnership or community settings. Thank God for a book like this! There are pivotal moments when you know things are going to change for the better in your life.

Reading this is one of them.

No smoke and mirrors, this TENS unit is magnificent. I have have been working with computers for over 30 years and it has taken it’s toll. After several operations for Carpel Tunnel, Ulnar Nerve and trigger finger and two long series of Physical Therapy, it has been an uphill and painful battle.

Through some sort of fate I discovered the 1 x TENS by Vive Health. Bottom line, it works. This really does what it is supposed to. It is not a cure, it relieves the pain and helps me get through the day with much less pain.

I strongly recommend 1 x TENS by Vive Health. I had an issue in the beginning but their service department took care of it right away.

I was given this Tens Unit for Christmas to help manage a hip injury on my own rather than continuously pay for physical therapy. I am happy to report that I can many things that I was not able to do because of the combination of pain management, stretching and strengthening.

I love this little unit as it is convenient and easy to use. I travel a lot and take it where ever I go as it helps me recovery from my long work days. I recommend it highly to people who I talk to. Buy one and you will not be disappointed.

Great purchase for the money. However I did not receive the leads that are pictured. Mine are smaller and lower quality. One set has already ” fallen apart”. Very disappointing. Also wish there was one mode of just radiating , continuous pulsing instead of sudden stops and starts.

It relieves pain enough for me to finally fall asleep.
