I bought this for my niece. It is easy to read, well set out with evidence informed practice and ideas to assist those suffering g with OCD. Great ideas and exercises for readers to do. Would definitely recommend.

This book is excellent to get to understand OCD and how it works. You can use the workbook at your own pace completing the exercises to help you gain control over your obsessional thoughts and compulsions.

This is an excellent book for both therapists and their clients. It is very readable and the content is practical. The price is very good and the information is extremely valuable.

Awesome book on how our thoughts come and go. You will be 10 times less fearful and relaxed. Just apply there simple advice and don’t fight things about life! We all have crazy thoughts that mean nothing and eventually your emotions become detached from negative thoughts and attitudes.

Am going to use the rest suggestions the rest of my life! I am bipolar, so has helped so much! Never make excuses for the cards we have all been dealt in life.

For many people, this book will be helpful. But it is too general and formulaic in its guidance about overcoming intrusive thoughts. It’s perspective is from the accepted main line treatment criteria that a general psychologist uses.

For me, it was not insightful enough to apply to my particular condition. For that reason, I cannot endorse this book.

I felt this book took way to long to get to the point of how to curb intrusive thoughts. Too much general information without getting to ways of helping oneself. Disappointed. Felt it was just another book and not better than others with similar subjects.

All it needs is an optional shorter second strap. I use it to prepare my skin for my 3-times-a-week MS medication injection and it’s great for holding the hot pack against my hip or abdomen and I can make it work for my thigh.

But on days that my injection is scheduled for upper arm? The strap is too long, and since it can’t really be shortened, I’m back to holding it for 20 minutes.

I was shocked at how full each gel pack was. I’ve bought at least 10 ice packs of different brands over the past 6 years due to migraines & have yet to obtain even ONE this full. After freezing, the time it stayed truly cold was FULLY twice that of any other.

There was a point where I over moisturized my hair and I needed a protein treatment to bring my curls back to normal. I didn’t have this then, but so glad this came out a few months after. This stuff keeps your hair balanced.

So you have a balance of moisture and protein. It makes your hair really bouncy and soft and back to life. Especially if you have color treated hair like mine (I have light highlights on black hair), it helps just keep the hair healthy! Especially the ends! I love to use this as a pre treatment before I wash my hair.

It has SUCH an amazing slip that it de-tangles your hair better than anything I’ve ever used. I put this in dry hair and it untangles my hair like a gem. I leave it on for 30 minutes to an hour and then wash my hair.

It smells really good too. It just amplifies your hair. My hair is always tangled by the time it’s washed say and a huge mess, and this really brings back the shine and life to it. And all the products I use work even better! Definitely recommend this.

Also make sure you deep condition your hair after using it so you can just have a balance!.

I used to think curly hair was just dry. I never thought it needed protein. So times like scorching summer days, colouring my hair, the deep conditioner always came out. It lead to losing hair in the shower, curls getting straighter and doing the opposite.

I have low porosity hair and lots of it. I first started using protein shampoo and conditioner last summer. This product from Curlsmith is a game changer. I started using it and even after 1 treatment what an affect.

My curls are more bouncier and do not drop out straight away. There is a shine to my hair and it looks healthier. My scalp is also happy. I will be using this as a regular treatment just 10 minutes at a time because of my low porosity and every 3 weeks.

I wash twice per week in general. The smell is like all Curlsmith products absolutely lush and not chemically as all natural. Shipping is good as we have to remember our postal services are still feeling the affects of the last 2 years.

are some of these people USING IT WRONG?! MY ROUTINE BELOW. best thing I’ve ever used on my hair. I cant believe how much it helps. Has completely RESCUED my hair. Went from a combination of thin, fried strands, a lot of coarse wirey grey strands & straw like bleached blonde ends, all dull, frizzy, tangling, rough & dry feeling, just absolutely wrecked, the worst hair I’ve had in my life, to shiny, INCREDIBLY SOFT, slick, rarely tangles, very little frizz even in high humidity, separated bouncy curls, the elasticity is back, even the grey hairs and the ends of my most bleached strands are all super soft like young healthy virgin hair.

ITS A MIRACLE. I mean I CAN NOT STOP TOUCHING IT. I used to have to use a lot of heat styling to make my hair not be super kinky and frizzy & coarse and now it’s not necessary. No heat! Omg! I noticed results the 1st time but I’ve used it every wash, once a week for almost 2 months & it’s completely changed my hair in every way I had hoped for.

also if u use hair styling products & only wash once a week, you’re gonna have a lot of buildup, so u need to wash it before the treatment & after. I need all the protein & oils so I do eva nyc mane magic shampoo, then the same hair masque & GENTLY brush it out, bottom to top, as u rinse, I do 15min-1hour with the curlsmith bond repair- now that the tangles are out u can comb this thru and get total coverage root to tip, really saturate it & clip it up(15 minutes will do a good job but 1 HOUR IS MAGIC) then rinse, I do the same shampoo again & then the same brand regular conditioner (but im gonna invest in curlsmith shampoo & conditioner soon as I can) I hope this helps someone.

I have the Breg Polar Care Wave that I purchased on the day of surgery and today is 14 days post op. I am feeling really great and believe that the Wave helps me manage pain and discomfort by reducing swelling, which allows me to do my physical therapy exercises, walk around and feel pretty good!Family and friends advised to use home compression and ice and I am very impressed with the device and the results I’m getting.

My doctor said to use it as often as needed. My physical therapist was surprised that I didn’t need my walker for my first appointment 5 days post surgery and continues to be impressed with my speedy recovery and range of motion.

I still have a ways to go following doctor’s orders to focus on flexibility and range of motion but I think after two more weeks my knee will function well with no pain. Fingers crossed! I had to pay for this as an out of pocket expense, as insurance doesn’t cover it and highly recommend this device.

Per other reviewers, I use two 16. 9 ounce frozen water bottles and an ice pack instead of ice cubes in the container and they keep cold for 6-7 hours. No ice mess.

The Breg Polar Care Cube is an absolute blessing. I had a torn rotator cuff with severe complications which almost cost me the use of my arm completely. I had to have surgery for extensive repair to be followed by months of Physical Therapy.

The pain was so intense that not even the prescription narcotic would ease it to a manageable level. The doctor said to use ice packs round the clock, 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off, for the first 5 to 7 days, but the weight of the ice packs and the manipulation to get them to stay on made the pain worse.

My daughter’s friend had a similar surgery and told me to get the Breg, as it had helped him, I ordered it immediately. From the moment I put it on it provided relief and helped me manage the pain so that I could finally get some rest and I didn’t need to take any more narcotics.

I have just started PT after two weeks of no movement at all (Dr’s orders) and again it is helping me with pain management. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. As I said it was a God send for the pain.

have no idea how i could of managed without it. the day after surgery we commenced use, alternating hour on hour off. absolutely phenomenal and convenient as well. reading another customer comment we use 4 small frozen water bottles and one ice cube tray (plus water of course) and it works perfectly for 6 hours at a time (while another 4 bottles await in the freezer).

it not only helps reduce the swelling but also contributes to the pain management. she feels it is working so well that if i wait too long to restart she vehemently reminds me and demands immediate turn back on.

wonderful product, can’t say enough good things about it. smooth quiet motor, easy hook up (could use 2 long straps instead of a short and a long), no leaks, retains ideal operating temp for at least 6 hours -haven’t tried longer- the alternative to this beautiful machine is having to deal with multiple ice bags instead.

My Husband likes this it bends nice he like s the Velcro strap to hold it in place. I had made one and the bag kept leaking even double bagged. Our old one would thaw and all the gel would move to the ends where you didn’t need the cold.

This has pockets of the gel and can’t do that. We purchase another brand that was clay well that was to hard when frozen it was one you could use cold or hot this one is not used for hot but it works great for cold.

I have a shoulder that responds adversely to heat. Heat makes the pain worse. The should hurt almost every night as I am trying to get to sleep. My cure is to apply one of these ice packs until the should is numb.

Then I can go to sleep and sometimes stay there. The cold packs do not “sweat”, so I don’t have to get up again to remove the ice pack. I gave it a 4 because it would be nice if I could get more cold on the shoulder more quickly.

Worth the money? Oh yeah!.

Two nice things: 1. Nice and large, and after having been in the freezer section, it will conform easily to the part the pack is applied. 2. It stays cold for up to an hour where I live, but I suppose in climates hotter and muggier than Colorado, it may be less, but 15 minutes to 30 minutes is sufficient for each application as those are generally the recommended times.

I don’t like: 1. The pouch that comes with it is smaller than the pack, and for people who have no or partial use of one of their hands and arm, the attachment strap is nearly impossible to use. I use: I use an old t-shirt to hold the pack to me body.

It works well. Nothing fancy but a good improvisation. Rating: I don’t give excellent.

So I have been dealing with basically permanent horrific hemorrhoids since I had my last baby…EIGHT years ago! It felt like that area was literally just falling out of my body. Anyone who’s been through it knows how humiliating seeking treatment can be.

Im also a SA survivor so doctors, especially for this, is triggering to me. Not to mention the talk of surgery! Yikes! So I got this as a last resort. I have tried EVERYTHING including making my own treatment from essential oils.

(I do not recommend as it feels like you’ve lit that entire area on fire, though that does distract from the discomfort of the hemorrhoids for a bit…) anyway its been 15 days of using it probably 4 times a day give or take.

I’ve noticed the prolapsed ones not as swollen. So I am hoping in a few more weeks they will continue to go down. One of the highest praises I have at this time is how the pain/itching/pinchy feeling is gone almost right away after first time applying it.

Things like preparation H would last a short amount of time and didn’t work immediately on top of it all. So I have finally had physical relief for the first time in all these 8 years. I know I have both internal and external so I am just being patient with the Emuaid.

I have also tried it for a couple other skin issues and within a day they were healed up and gone! One was an allergic reaction I get once or twice a year when I accidentally have contact with certain soaps, and I get these burning and itchy bumps on my fingers, similar to blisters.

It happened 2 days ago on one finger, I applied Emuaid, covered in a bandaid to keep it clean and keep the Emuaid on, and when I took it off the next morning it was totally gone! And once again, immediate relief from pain/itching.

At the very least if you are experiencing the discomfort of any skin issue or hemorrhoids, I cannot recommend this enough. Also to help stomach issues that may be causing more damage, I use Smooth Move tea, which will clean you out gently and help give your body a rest while the cream works.

An advertisement for Emuaid caught my eye whilst I was browsing on YouTube. I have suffered severe prolapsed Haemorrhoids and bleeding for about 15 years, since the birth of my last child (sorry about the graphics).

As with anything on the internet, I’m skeptic. I had tried getting rid of toenail fungus on my big toe for over a year. Cleaning, cutting, tea tree oil, you name it. I had asked my doctor about a treatment and he said “sometimes you just have to realize that the body has imperfections, try tea tree oil, I hear it works” I kept seeing the ads for this on Instagram and finally decided to pull the trigger.

This is a great ice therapy machine! It is surprisingly quiet too. As the description notes, you can adjust the flow rate (liters/minute) and the time for each cooling cycle. The bladder covering that comes with the machine is a handy and comfortable buffer between the skin and the cooling bladder.

The bladder is more than sufficient in size for me. I am using it for me knee. In order to ice the whole knee,I split it into top half and bottom half and run it for 2 cycles. The build quality is excellent.

The ice & water reservoir is double-walled and provides a decent level of temperature preservation. All in all, I am very happy and satisfied with this product.

I had injured my knee cracked my knee cap tore both meniscus in my right knee 15+ years ago had surgery. This year re injured the same knee had meniscus surgery again went to physical therapy knee still sore and swollen after working 4 hours a day.

I come home from work try to ice it but my ice packs keep melting before it can feel better. I looked on line for ice therapy machine and give health came up so I ordered the therapy machine and my knee feels a lot better as it takes the swelling down I can walk better.

So glad I bought this machine I recommended it to a friend gave him the link he is waiting for his machine. Thumbs up also my wife has an aggravated shoulder and my son has twisted his ankle might have to get another machine as we stand in line to use this one.

I chose this for my son who is always purchasing teeth whitening strips – they are very expensive and do not last very long. This is perfect for him and is easy to use. Compact for travel and only takes 25 minutes!.

Four stars because I haven’t used it long enough to know if it’s working for the reason I bought it. I definitely feel a difference in my mouth after using it. I’m hopeful it will regenerate gum growth around the base of a tooth where a silver amalgam filling replaced.

The dentist did something that caused the gum to immediately recede right after the procedure. The product does not state this is an intended outcome, but I’m ever hopeful it will work!.

I needed something that would help with both burning feet and icy cold feet, and I preferred to have one product instead of two. These packs work in my NatraCure socks to address the alternating problems caused by neuropathy of MS and HNPP/CMT.

Having the extra packs means I have one set ready for the microwave and the other set in the fridge. These are sturdy and should last for years.

These are so easy to use. Just pop the whole thing (sock & all) into the freezer. The material is very soft, and the construction is a very good quality. I use these every night. I only wish they would stay colder, longer.

They only seem to last about 20 minutes (yes, I know that’s the common recommended time to ice your parts, but I’d like to decide that!) I do over-wrap them with ace bandage to make them a little tighter to my feet.

Anyway, these are the first ones I’ve tried, and I like ’em.

I had one set of these cool packs to wear during my chemo sessions to prevent neuropathy. I bought this second set so I could make it through the full session without them warming up. Good quality and holds onto the cold longer than other cold packs.

Well worth the $25-30 investment. Saves the mess of ice, stays cold, shapes itself to the body. I’ve been using on the regular (and my 18 yo son) and we’ve had no issues with toughness or punctures. It does take a while to “freeze” once its been used.

But you’ll find yourself icing daily because of the ease of use. Just throw it on and wrap it. I have several of these and they are joint savers for the weekend warrior. A+ and 5 STARS.

Thinking of getting the smaller one as well. Nice size to cover upper back then lower back. The larger size covers more area so you get done sooner. This stays cold for a very long time. I cover the pack with a thin towel and set the ice pack aside after I’m done.

I do have a fan blowing near it but it’s still cool the next day! The best ice pack I’ve owned. Transaction went well and is buy from again.

This is an excellent novel. I couldn’t put it down since I brought it home. I learned great deal about Obssessive Compulsive behavior and the different types of issues one would come across in dealing with the symptoms.

It has helped me tremendously in dealing with day-to-day hardships and better understanding how to cope with this disorder.

Excellent book, easy to read and understand. A breakthrough for people suffering with crippling Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The title itself describes what many people feel with this crippling disease.

There is something we can do OURSELVES to change our brains and empower us!.
