20 Best Therapy For Schizophrenia (2022 Updated)

This is our second percussion therapy device. We started out getting one of those popular, well-reviewed “budget” models with a bazillion attachments because we honestly didn’t know how much we would like it, or how effective it would be.

In general, we liked what we saw, but there were some things about the budget version that just felt a little “off”–build quality was suspect in some areas (the battery pack never did sit firmly in the housing) and some of the attachments were foam that started to gather fuzz and fabric debris and even break down a bit after moderate use.

So we upped our game a with the Hypervolt 2 Pro, and though it might seem like there is a little less to love, the overall therapy experience with the Hypervolt 2 Pro was FAR more compelling and effective.

Let’s start with the obvious–lay out all the swag you get with a competitor’s model and you’ll see that the Hypervolt 2 Pro doesn’t seem to offer much–just 5 massage heads/tips and a small carrying case for them; the case isn’t even large enough to house the AC adapter or the interchangeable travel plug adapters! There is no carrying case or even a simple storage pouch for the main unit as well.

that feels like a missed opportunity given the price point for this model. Flip it over and check out the controls–a single speed dial on the Hypervolt 2 Pro with only 5 speed settings/LED speed markers and one BT LED display versus 30 intensity settings on fancy numerical LCD display on the competitor’s model.

what’s going on here? But once we put the Hyperice model into use, we changed our tune. If you need POWERFUL deep-tissue and muscle massage action, the Hypervolt 2 Pro simply offers MORE. more power and a deeper stroke/percussion action that runs circles around the budget alternative from the lowest setting all the way up to the highest.

Sure, there are only 5 speed options to pick from here; but frankly, the 30 speed options on the competitor’s model ultimately felt unnecessary as the qualitative difference of a 24 versus a 27 speed setting were essentially meaningless on the skin, especially if you still needed a better, more effective massage in the long run (who doesn’t?).

The Hypervolt 2 Pro is also a VERY high-quality feeling product; fit and finish are outstanding and provide you some assurance that you’re getting a more durable and well-engineered product for your money.

The 3-hour battery pack is removable for separate storage or charging away from the main unit I suppose; but more importantly, a removable battery pack means your entire massage gun isn’t scrap once the battery stops holding a charge as you can ostensibly purchase a new battery pack (or at least have a second on tap for longer therapy sessions or more days between charges).

The light-up ring around the bottom of the battery pack/handle changes color to indicate charge/battery level and makes it perfectly clear when the unit is accidentally left on or needs a bit more juice to keep going.

Okay, but what about the attachments? As I indicated earlier, some of the numerous attachments on the budget model are foam rather than rubber or plastic and have already started to break down or pill up with material from t-shirts and shorts; the Hypervolt 2 Pro’s attachments are all high quality rubber or rubberized material and certainly feel like they will stand up to a lot more punishment and repeated cleaning over time.

As for the low number of attachments, frankly, it’s a lot easier to remember which attachment is for what body part when there is only a handful to keep track of, and when we used the budget model, we typically only reached for one or two attachment heads anyway.

But if you’re really concerned about not having that ONE special wedge-shaped, spiky, or ball-headed attachment, you might just consider getting an extra set of attachments online; then you’ll get the benefits of a MUCH better massage gun with all the attachments you might want or need (for the record, all the attachments in our budget do-it-all package fit the Hypervolt 2 Pro just fine).

The Hypervolt 2 Pro then goes things a bit better–it’s a “somewhat” smart device with Bluetooth capability. No, you can’t use Alexa to start a massage routine or program therapy session duration from the unit itself (there’s only a power switch on the bottom and a rotary speed dial on the back, after all), but with the Hyperice app and a BT connection to your phone, you can run automated programs of varying times and intensities all while a helpful video shows you exactly what head to use, where to hold the massage gun, and how to get optimal results with hand movements and massage tip/head-angles during the entire routine.

At first I was a little skeptical about the BT speed control and app, but being able to adjust the speed settings from my phone one-handed meant I didn’t have to remove the massage gun from my skin mid-session to adjust the speed setting; this was a godsend when I had the gun’s angle and pressure JUST right but wanted to get a bit more intensity going.

The app itself gives you a little body graphic to choose various muscle groups for routine selection; not every muscle group has routines for the picking just yet, but most do, and the thought of not having to figure out the best combination of tips, angles, timing, speed settings, and muscle group coverage is really quite appealing and effective in practice.

Overall, we were more than pleasantly surprised at how much we liked the Hypervolt 2 Pro’s performance and capabilities, even if it seems on the surface like this unit might offer fewer options than the competition can swing at a lower price point.

But in this case, I heartily concur that you get what you pay for–the quality of the unit, the increased power, speed, and percussive stroke, as well as the integrated BT app and speed control ultimately make for much more effective, flexible, and enjoyable massage therapy than what a cut-rate competitor can muster; DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED if you want the best and most therapeutic percussion massage treatment you can get your hands on!.

There are a variety of devices you can buy to help with muscle aches and for considerably less. However, the Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Massage Device goes further than any other device I’ve ever used. Even having a free companion app, which can be used to fully take advantage of every attachment with the use of your smartphone.

In the box you’ll find the Massage Device, five different attachments, a charger with attachments with different power plugs for international travel, and a case for the accessory attachments. The device has only one button for function, which can be pressed to set the speed, the device lights will indicate level of pressure applied, and the light on the handle will change color as the battery begins to drain.

When power on, and paired to your smartphone with the app, you’ll unlock a variety of routines to help with recovery and even for relaxation. While the smart app isn’t required, you’ll find the automated routines, with video guidance, easy to follow and provide you with a great understanding of how to use each attachment.

The device will automatically start and end each routine, even able to react to the amount of pressure you apply to set the speed. Each routine will advise you of which attachment to use, how to move along your muscle for best results, and even recommends various routines based on your activity when paired to Apple Health, Strava, or a Garmin device.

The App immediately detected when my Hypervolt was powered on, even offering to jump back into my most used routines. Over the course of a month, I found myself using this more and more at the end of long workdays and to provide nighttime relief.

All of this clearly had a benefit, as I found fewer and fewer instances of pain my lower back, shoulders, and even my feet! You don’t realize just how much stress you feel standing and walking around all day, until you get used to the satisfying massage provided by the device.

Over time, I began understanding each of the attachments use, and would use the device throughout the day during breaks and my lunch period. Each attachment is easily removed and being installed with some slight pressure to lock it in place.

You’ll notice a pop, as the attachments are held in place with tension and suction, with a cork removal like sound when you remove them. If you’re having trouble pushing them into place, you can use a flat surface and push the attachment into place with minimal pressure applied.

Most attachments don’t require a specific orientation, with the fork attachment having a guiding notch for proper placement. I also appreciate the softer attachment for more sensitive areas, such as around your neck, which provide a softer feel without the uncontrollable vibration of the harder attachments.

This was also the first massage device that provided the best relief around my knee, which has been a constant pain area since I injured it several years ago. Overall, the device does more than any other Massage Device I’ve ever used and easily out shined any lower cost alternative I’ve ever used.

While most of the marketing is geared toward active individuals, and athletes, you’ll find this works effectively even for those working from home or in an office where you stand or sit all day. The stress relief I’ve felt from just a month of use has made me more conscious of areas of stress on my body and having the Hypervolt has been a real game-changer for my nightly routines and lead to a better quality of life for me personally.

Given the variety of functions you get from just this one device, and the companion app, I’d highly recommend the Hyperice Hypervolt!.

The Hypervolt 2 is a quality Percussion Massager, but it does little to stand out from the myriad of other percussion devices on the market. The Bluetooth app connection is a novel idea that impresses at first, but it is an unnecessary addition that helps to drive up the price far beyond what is necessary.

I appreciate that the Hyperice App includes video guides which demonstrate proper use, but the automated Bluetooth speed/pressure control is nothing more than a novelty that is not truly needed. The mobile app can be useful, but it is difficult to navigate and often errors out.

And technically, the Hyperice App can be used by anyone with any percussion massager – so it doesn’t truly add value to the brand. The Hypervolt 2 has plenty of power, but unfortunately it is not as quiet as I would like.

I can complete Peloton rides while my wife watches TV, but using the Hypervolt during my cool down is noticeably distracting. During these COVID times, many of us are working out in close proximity to others and it is important to be aware that this device absolutely will be noticed due to the noise it produces.

The battery life is quite good, but I would much prefer the ability to charge via USB-C as compared to the included 18V A/C Adapter style charger. I also wish that the Hypervolt came with a travel case (instead of only a small pouch for the attachments).

At this higher price point, I would expect a case that can keep all accessories, the massager, and the charging cable in one place. I don’t believe there is anything truly wrong with this Percussion Massager – it is powerful enough to perform as expected and built well enough to last for years – I just don’t see a clear justification for the high price.

I think that most users will be perfectly satisfied with the Hypervolt 2, I just believe that there are many lower cost options that work just as well (and which also come with a travel case and can be charged with the more convenient USB-C).

This item seems great so far. It is VERY bright, and may take some getting used to. Look and functionality is great. I like it much better than other happy lights I have seen. It feels reminiscent of a Kindle.

Easy to use, easy to assemble (the little kick stand that tilts it up). Quality. well, I haven’t used it for long so can’t speak to how it will hold up, but it seems a little cheaply made – just based on look and feel.

The stand seems like it will probably break if not treated with care. I’ll drop it or knock it off the end table at some point so we’ll find out.

The Lucent ‘HappyLight’ is a powerful, LED light panel with light color temperatures engineered to simulate sunlight. We have been using the light panel – approximately the same size as an iPad – over the past couple of weeks.

We have noticed our moods to have improved, but also our energy levels. The panel is well worth the investment and doesn’t take up a lot of space. The instructions mention the ability to dim the panel, but this is not an option.

We have no complaints about the Lucent ‘Happy Light’ product and highly recommend it.

I bought this light as a replacement for a different brand light that I accidentally dropped on the floor. This light is so much more soothing, lacking that jolting glare my previous light had. I use this light every morning to apply makeup and it’s a great way to start the day.

Although others have commented on a tendency for the light to topple, I haven’t had any problems. I set the light on a silicon pad on my countertop and perhaps this has made the difference. Works for me.

I am so happy to have this bit of sunshine in my life every day!.

My 12 year old son has been using these inserts for 2 years to help with fallen arches and growing pains. They are very supportive and durable. We had to size up as his foot had grown. When we attended the rehab facility after a consultation with an orthopedic doctor, which resulted in over $200 worth of visits, copay, time, and these arch supports, this was a recommended suggestion by the physical therapist who was working with him on arch strengthening exercises.

I wish we could. have gone back, saved our money and just invested in these in the beginning. He no longer complains of foot pain and uses them daily in his tennis shoes and sports shoes. They have been a lifesaver! I highly recommend these to all of our friends who have kids complaining of the same symptoms.

Insoles are personal things, of course. All I know is that this one works for me to provide good moderate arch support. I’m in my late 60’s and injured my instep last year on a walk, something popped in my arch (not good).

The healing took a while. At last, I found these Power Step insoles after trying numerous others. I now own three pairs and exchange them in my shoes. No more foot pain! A very comfortable feel all day long.

and they’re not so thick, so they don’t make your feet tight in the shoes. Firm, great arch support.

I bought these following assessment of my feet / gait and recommendation from a sports physician. I’ve only just started to use them, so can’t really comment yet on how effective they are at relieving the problems I have, but I will say they seem pretty comfortable and good quality, and ordering / delivery process was good.

My biggest gripe so far – I have UK size 3. 5-4 feet. I ordered the smallest size I could find (size A ) and they are too big for my shoes. I have needed to trim them (carefully) with scissors so I can fit them inside my shoes.

It would be brilliant if you can make these in smaller sizes so that you can tailor for those of us with very small feet!.

I’ll admit I was skeptical at first because it sounded gimmicky (my opinion only), but serious science and clinical data support the claims behind microcurrent technology. As a result, they’ve become a staple in celebrity facialists’ offices for their skincare benefits.

A case in point is the futuristic NuFACE device that’s taken over your Instagram feed. Imagine a skincare tool that can be used at home to offer similar benefits. However, microcurrent facials are an expensive habit, and at-home tools can cost upwards of $500.

Keep reading if the steep price tag doesn’t scare you away. A microcurrent facial consists of an esthetician moving small electrical probes around your face, which pass painless electrical current into the skin on your face and neck to help tone, lift, firm, and reeducate tired muscles.

In addition, the process stimulates your cells, assisting with collagen production, elastin production, and cell regeneration. Although microcurrent facials are suitable for all skin types, there are some caveats.

For example, microcurrent facials may not be your best option if you’ve had botox or fillers. Also, those with severe acne, cancer, pregnancy, or epilepsy should steer clear of microcurrent facials. After reading the disclaimer on the packaging, I was slightly uneasy about trying the Nuface device.

According to NuFace, you only need to use the tool for five minutes daily to see optimal results. Additionally, it would be best if you used the device adjunct with the Microcurrent Activator like the Hydrating Aqua Gel or Firming + Brightening Silk Crème, as these are “specifically formulated to conduct the current and enhance results.

” Yikes! I can see how it would be advantageous to use an at-home device, considering how many uses you’d get out of the personal microcurrent device. However, with the Aqua Gel Activator retailing for $29 and the NuFace device priced at $329, I am unsure if this is the best fit for me.

NuFace has marketed the device as an excellent alternative for maintenance between professional facial services. Still, it fell short regarding ease of use (i. e. , instruction for use – a few video tutorials will not suffice).

Trash, trash, trash!!! Avoid by all means! So here is a little story for you! Originally, i got a Nuface full set about 5 years ago, it is expensive as you know. I haven’t used it once because I was still young and beautiful! Then i got into an accident with a follow-up surgery that left my face droopy and sagging, i wanted to use my Nuface in order to help it somehow.

But it didn’t turn on, upon contacting their customer service, i was told that the device had a dead battery due to its life (despite of it not being used once), the product is not FDA approved (completely unnecessary information that was just dropped as an ultimate reason why it couldn’t be serviced) and is not fixable, repairable, and they offered no deals on the next device ( second time my mom contacted them, she is nicer than I am, and they offered some small discount).

“So, you want to tell me that I had on my hands almost 300$ worth of useless trash that I didn’t try once?” They answered “Yes, it is. Sorry. ” 🤨 No support offered. It was surprising, once they milked you they are not interested in you.

By this time other devices popped on the market, and I got Foreo Bear that has better results and is a stronger machine, I see the difference in my face. It works only with an app, so you would need a foreo app to start it and to get the program going.

Do not buy Nuface, customer service is useless and obnoxious, and the product is not “FDA-approved” (which has nothing to do with them providing service for devices, which they make tons of money on), so you will get no service once any problems happen.

Stupid excuse that is not even logical, i guess they expect most of us do not know what FDA is, consider it to be an ultimate justice carrier in the device world, just so arrogant and disrespectful to the customers.

And the device is outdated, it was cool about ten years ago, there are other superior options now! Do your research and go for a more moderm solution, Foreo for example, and let Nuface with its customer oriented service rest in the past.

I have used this wrinkle reducer attachment for 2 weeks. I am happy to notice that my complexion has become brighter in overall, and pore size seems have reduced. However, this attachment is quite time consuming and challenging for me to do the treatment 5 times in a week.

I need to hold the device for LED light on my face for 3 minutes before moving to another part of my face. It needs to take more than half an hour to complete the whole face using this red light attachment, not to mention about neck.

It is a challenge for me to persist. I’m considering buying an LED face mask which is in the shape of a face and neck for LED treatment as I have gained confidence with LED. Well, I will still recommend this product for beginner as it is really effective.

I couldn’t expect such a noticeable result for home-used device. On the other side, I found this attachment is a bit too vulnerable. There was once after few minutes of using it, it made my Trinity Pro automatically switched off.

At first I thought my device has run out of battery. I tested it with ELE attachment but it worked well. When I plugged in this wrinkle reducer attachment again, my Trinity Pro switched off again. I didn’t know what happened.

The next day it got back to normal. It gave me a feeling that it can’t last longer. Anyway, the most important point and also the happiest thing for me is my complexion became brighter!.

Both my 41 yr old daughter & I (@72) enjoy & use them. Took about a week for visual results. (Enjoyed the warm ‘massage’ , tho) @72, I somewhat remarkably still have ‘good’ skin w/ few crinkles (which I rather like, as they are a roadmap of my life).

2020 has been a tough year for me. I had knee surgery on both knees 40 days apart. Rehab has been difficult because each knee can only support so much weight during the daily grind. My pain management was horrible because my body can’t stand pain killers.

After some research, I came across PowerDot and was hopeful to get my pain under control. After 3 weeks of using the Duo 2. 0, I can finally sleep and more importantly walk without the need for crutches.

I can’t wait for Phase 2 of rehab (cleared by doctor) where I am able to start rebuilding the strength and muscle in both legs. I think the Duo 2. 0 will get me to a whole new level. I sincerely believe that could be any day.

I bought the power dot duo as a gift for my Fiance and selfishly so I could use one too. He’s pretty stubborn about his recovery and would rather complain and force his muscles into submission. He does use a massage gun he purchased but the fact you can just apply and go with the Power Dot Duo makes it even more enticing to use.

The app is pretty straight forward and the pad application is easy as well, which is why I think he’s drawn to using it frequently. After convincing him that the point isn’t to blast your muscles to the point of toe curling, he seems to have relief in the areas he’s using it.

Personally, I use it for my achy knee after 2 meniscal repairs and a hip that screams after a run. Both feel much better after use! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to help in recovery and also stimulate muscle growth after an orthopedic repair.

Purchased the product after hearing about it on The Move podcast. Was a little skeptical, wasn’t sure if this was Lance pushing an investment by his Next Ventures group. The product has been amazing and absolutely works.

I use after cycling and hard workouts. It’s proven effective if I wake up with a stiff neck. I was even having a heel/Achilles issue for 6+ months. Nothing was working – rest or ice. Figured I would try the PowerDot on this area before going to the doctor.

After a week of use it feels sooo much better. Not totally healed, but a BIG difference. Wish I had the Duo. Great product, haven’t had any issues, definitely recommend.

I received the cherry flavored milk of magnesia. let’s admit it, this stuff is disguising, not because of the flavor but because of that texture! Not only are you irritable because you are constipated but you have to choke down the chalky liquid substance to get the show on the road.

I hate having to resort to MOM because of the chalky liquid yet not liquid texture of this stuff. But in the end it does what it says it’s going to do so I can’t write a bad review on that part. The cherry flavor is ok, I’d rather not even have any flavor but the cherry after taste is better then the unflavored version.

When you use this product make sure you aren’t going to be needing to leave your home any time soon! It doesn’t work instantly and takes more then a few hours to kick in, but wow once it does your running to the bathroom faster then a cheetah after it’s prey! I haven’t researched what milk of magnesia actually does but I do know it liquifies everything in your bowels and makes come out FAST- and without a problem! I would recommend drinking it at night because you’ll probably be running to the toilet sometime at night or by the morning when you wake up! I don’t use this often because I feel like there are other alternatives to relieving constipation, if you want the relief fast then this is the answer! Good luck! My kids were laughing at me as I was sprinting like no other to the only toilet we have in the house! If you don’t make sure to be near a bathroom you will forsure crap your pants! (Think the dumb and dumber scene ).

I didn’t really want to write a review about this product I received but heck it’s a natural thing we all 💩 so here it goes. I don’t have a problem with going #2 however I did give this product a try one day while I was home all day.

I took my dose and within about 30 mins I could feel the rumbles of my belly calling the porcelain throne. So I made my way up the stairs to the 🚽 made my self comfortable and let it rip. I did have a little cramping but nothing to bad so as I sat there for a good 10mins I realized this stuff gave me a full colon cleanse.

When I tell you I lost at least 5 pds I mean it. My legging was even a bit loose after all was said and done. So do I recommend this product that would be a HECK YEA. I gave it a 4/5🌟 only Bc of the slight stomach cramps but like I said it wasn’t nothing to bad.

Us woman have had a lot worse cramps then that I’m sure. And the taste it was hard to swallow Bc of the thin lotion texture but I just held my nose and took it as a shot and down the hatch it went the chugged water after it wasn’t to bad.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter, she has wavy hair and it’s very prone to fizz and tangles. I tried this on her and it worked great, so great that I used it too after seeing her results. A couple days after she used it the 1st time I noticed a rash on the back of her neck going up into her scalp and she itched her scalp a lot on the sides.

I figured she probably didn’t rinse out all of her shampoo and that was the cause but it persisted for 3 weeks. During that time she probably used this product 3 times. Couldn’t figure out what was causing this rash that really looked like an allergic reaction.

Her hair honestly looked great and was so much more manageable after using this so I tried it on myself. After my 1st application a couple days later I got the same rash and itchiness. This is the only new product that I’ve introduced into both of our hair routines.

I would never guess in a million years that a conditioner with good nourishing ingredients would cause an allergic reaction but there’s got to be an ingredient (could be the fragrance?) in here that is not good for sensitive skin.

I’ve now noticed in the reviews on here that a couple other people have had the same the same rash after using this (I bought it in store, read the ingredients really quick and thought it would help my kid).

For reference I have dandruff caused by seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap) so my skin can be pretty sensitive but my daughter’s skin is thankfully tougher than mine. Unfortunately we still had the same allergic reaction.

The size of this heating pad is luxurious and that is one thing that really sets it apart from others. On a cold night I will pull it across the top of the covers like a shawl, to fall asleep snuggly, while the room heats up.

The auto shut-off makes it safe to have on while sleeping and if when you’re using it therapeutically during waking hours, it blinks to let you know that it has shut off, so you can restart it before it gets cold.

The cord is way longer than any heating pad of the past, which helps to accommodate outlet access. The surface is soft and plush, but we use a giant pillow sham as a removable cover, even though the instructions say it’s washable.

I just got up for a brief nap after using my brand new PureReliefXXL heating pad and all I can say is. Wow, my back feels sooo good!! I strained by back on Sunday (yesterday) and it felt locked up and movement was painful.

Today, mid day (Monday), I went to the MCX (military base department store) to find a heating pad to wake up my aging back because my old heating pad would only work on 2 of the 3 levels any more. Ive been having gut issues for decades now, with resulting chronic insomnia and have tried so many diets, but this book explains SO WELL the connection between what we eat and the affect it has on our minds.

I cant tell you how many times Ive written wow in my book! I can tell the author has tons of experience in this field. We really are complex creatures. This book does require major dietary (and lifestyle) changes, so as I cant afford it all at once Im doing it gradually, but have already most definitely cut out all the foods she says to avoid and have noticed a HUGE difference.

Thus I am already convinced that sticking to eating and drinking what Dr. McBride suggests is going to work. Plus Ive already made two of her simple recipes and I LOVE them! It really is an excellent book, and has left me wondering multiple times, how come this information is not more widely publicised? I would definitely recommend it especially if one has an autistic child or any of the other gut related disorders that she mentions.

I have been looking for the cure to my lack of energy for many years. I consider myself helathy, cut out any garbage food and mostly drink water when im thirsty. I tried this and i literally feel the difference as the day gets longer, where id normally feel like napping or even dying, i more easily can keep going.

It definitely works well, especially with my high blood pressure. I was reading through some of the reviews and seeing some where people feel light headed or start showing symptoms of low blood pressure.

In my case, I did not have any of those ill effects because I have naturally high blood pressure. For me, it was very calming and my body accepted it better, with the positive effects that potassium has on lowering blood pressure naturally.

I do wish it didn’t come flavored as many have pointed out. It has a kind of lemonade flavor that seems to go best in a glass of water only. If it had a neutral flavor, it could be added to a much wider range of drinks or shakes.

You can get magnesium citrate and potassium citrate at bulk supplements. So technically you can make your own blend based on your body’s needs. This product however, is great for my needs at least – it has a very positive effect on blood pressure.

What I like about the product: the large amount of potassium it provides. I tried finding another product online that has the amount of potassium this product has, and, I couldn’t. What I don’t like: the taste, it’s hard to dissolve, the price, and it cakes up.

Solutions: since the stevia is so strong and it’s hard to get the product to dissolve, I mix it with 16oz of unsweetened tea or unsweetened flavored carbonated water at room temperature. I also stopped pouring the powder in first because it will stick to the bottom of the container.

I pour the powder into the liquid. I have to shake it quite a bit for it to dissolve, but, it finally does. Then I chill it in the fridge. For the caking, I broke up all the pieces in the container, mixed it well, and that seems to solve that problem.

A mortar and pestle would have been great for this. But, I just used what I had and now it doesn’t clump nearly as badly.

I think the heat levels are spot on, it could not be better. Any cooling on setting 1 would be unnoticeable, and any hotter on level 6 would be too dangerous, but the PureRelief XL is just right. I think the overall design of product material, versus shape and size is also ideal for most applications.

Color choices are nice and mild, however I think it might be fun to go with some wild neon colors or something of that nature for the younger generations. I think they would probably sell better than expected.

The connector leading to the heating pad is great, some other heating pads disconnect too easily, but the PureRelief stays put; Even with being sat on, with a hefty person such as myself shifting repeatedly, with body weight, and for extended periods of time, so that is good.

The main thing I could think could provide some improvement for the product could be, the connection point maybe. Possibly improved if the rigid material of the connector permitted flexibility on the flats, which would better prevent jabbing if the pad were sat on with a tapered or curved seat cushion.

I’m not a materials expert, however I’ve worked with space grade connectors for over a decade. I also do not know what the exact solution would be, but just my two cents- If a material were found to permit a flex either direction even just 10 to 15° either direction from origination without wearing beyond the life-uses for the pad itself- That could make a near ideal heating pad just perfect.

The fact that the heating pad has a continuous on feature is absolutely essential, so I’m thankful ya’lls product has this capability. The overall price is upper range to me, but it is truly worth it, considering the quality, and average durability that the product tends to last, through wear and tear over time.

I absolutely have to use a heating pad every single day, due to chronic pain issues, so my take is- The PureRelief XL heating pad really does tend to last through a good amount of wrapping up, and unfolding, when on the go, and the comfort is just fantastic to have a material that doesn’t make crunchy diaper sounds, like some other companies have.

I bought this XL-king size heating pad in 2019. It is far superior to others I have tried. The 12 X 24 size covers a good amount of area. The pad is soft and very flexible so not stiff plastic like others.

The 6 heat range settings are great for getting just the right amount of relief without hot spots. An important feature is the timer with option of 2hr safety shut down for sleeping or continuous when awake and reading for extended periods without the heat having to be reset.

Many pads only have the 2hr shut down which is bothersome for us who have long term daily health issues. These features make it the best choice for long term users. The one weakness is in the controller circuit.

It flashed “F” and stopped heating. Customer service was helpful to verify that there was a fault in the electronics. The heat pad has a 5 year warranty with registration online so customer support courteously is sending a warranty replacement.

I purchased this product over a year ago and I sleep with it every night. It has been one of the best heating pads I have ever used (and I have worn out a few!). I was in an accident several years ago and a heating pad is one of the few things that helps bring me some pain relief.

Fabric is cuddly soft, and it has a great heat range! Note: I love my pads to get hot and this one has a comfortably hot at its max setting! It is also very adjustable in temp so suitable for those who may want a cooler setting.

I think for the most part it works I suffer from panic/anxiety attacks very frequently. I do believe that this breathing exercise definitely helps with every day stress and helps take the edge off of anxiety I would recommend this for somebody who is overly stressed and has a lot of anxiety in their life.

It does come with this lavender scented rubber attachment that you’re supposed to breathe through your nose and it is a little relaxing .

I’ve been using this for more than a month almost every day. I suffer from rosacea and that’s the reason why I got this light. I haven’t noticed any improvement, not even 5%, the redness is all still there, the capillaries haven’t shrunk one bit.

Also, it got me new wrinkles! Let me explain. For several weeks I used to wash and dry my face, then turn on the light (with a dry face). The problem is I have a very dry face, so those 10 minutes every day with a very dry face made appear new wrinkles, especially on the forehead and the ones the I had already now look bigger.

I’ve been using moisturizer and retinol for weeks now but they haven’t gone away, and I’m afraid those wrinkles are here to stay. I now use the light with moisturizer on but still I’m bummed and sad that a light that was supposed to prevent wrinkles made appear new ones.

I used it with a dry face because everywhere on the internet it says you have to use the light witha dry face. I will keep using the light for now but I’m disappointed to say the least, especially for the lack of results against rosacea.

I purchased the Mito min about six weeks after purchasing the Mito pro 1500. I was so amazed by how I felt using the larger device that I wanted a smaller one for when I travel and this one suited my needs.

I originally purchased my larger device to help my hip pain. After approximately eight weeks of use I find that I recover from my workouts far better, I have so much more energy , probably because I sleep so well now.

Prior to red light therapy my sleep was really bad. Most nights I would toss and turn and finally give up. Since using my light I’m getting a good eight hours real sleep on a regular basis and if I do wake up I have no trouble getting back to sleep.

I have not noticed any significant improvement in my hip but it’s still early days but at least I can work out which I’m itself is a great help. I have only used the mito min when I travel , it weighs about five pounds and it just means I don’t have to be without my therapy light.

I love both of these devices. My husband was very skeptical but he uses it every day so I guess he must be getting some benefit.

so buy one bigger if somebody in the house resembles my household. And second, since it is very portable and works with any voltage, be prepared to not have if it goes for travel. and it might not come back.

My 6 1/2 year old son is a VERY deep sleeper and was wetting his pull up every night, sometimes wetting through and he never woke up. We tried so many things including waking him up before we went to be at 11 every night and more often than not, he still would wake up wet.

I saw TheraPee online and held off buying it for months, then I finally bought it and then we held off again for months because it seemed like a real pain in the butt getting woken up at night and having to change wet sheets (100% just being lazy).

Finally, we started. We pulled my son’s mattress into our room to make it a little easier. Sat him down and watched the videos and set everything up. What I am sure was a total fluke, he was dry the next morning.

Having the accident and the alarm BLASTING them awake somehow make his brain talk to his blatter and together they just said that enough is enough! Buy this. If you are reading this, you are at ends rope and you just want to help your kid.

Buy this, I didn’t think it would work on my son, I was so wrong!.

I have a 9 1/2 year old son that has never had a dry night. until now! I’m talking this kid would wake up with a wet bed even with a pull up on at least 2 times a week-after we would make him pee and change his pull up at midnight.

We have tried other alarms that attach to the actual underwear. My son hated them and would cry when I suggested using the underwear attached alarm. I’ll be honest, I was too cheap to buy this TheraPee system originally.

The draw of sleepovers finally pushed me to do it. Be prepared for a couple of miserable days or a week. the whole family was EXHAUSTED. I would suggest listening to the taped sessions before you listen with your child.

Our family never actually used the sessions other than listening to the initial session (only because I had computer issues) but I think they seemed like they could be useful. The first two nights we were up 3 times and each time he was in a complete puddle.

I figured out that I could make up his bed with sheet/mattress cover, then sheet mattress cover again, then sheet/mattress cover again. 3 layers kept me from dismantling the whole bed each time the alarm went off.

I would strip off the top 2 wet layers and then I just lift off one corner of the clean sheet and slip the pad under the new clean sheet. We also kept a stack of clean underwear/t-shirts/towels in the bathroom for him to change into.

We also put extra nightlights in because he shares a room with his sister and we were trying to limit how much she was awake in the middle of the night. The first week was a gradual decline in, first, the size of the puddle and, then, the times at night.

(But I’m telling you EXHAUSTED!!! We started this over Thanksgiving so he wouldn’t be too tired at school. ) After a week the alarm was just going off at around 11:00 or 12:00 at night and then he was sleeping through to the morning.

I finally started using a small thin towel (a travel microfiber scuba towel) to cover the pee alarm instead of putting it under the sheet when the amount of pee was consistently very small. By week 3 we were dry.

But the weird thing is he isn’t getting up at night to pee at all. he just sleeps through. We accidentally left the pad at home when we traveled on week 4, but we gambled and he stayed dry. Since then we’ve had 3 mornings where he pees a tiny bit (2-3 inch diameter sheet stain) around 6:30 am (he usually gets up at 7:00) in the morning in the bed.

He feels so proud of himself! I would suggest anyone try this system with no hesitation. TheraPee is expensive, but I’m no longer buying pull ups! It also worked much quicker than I anticipated. Can’t wait for our first sleepover!.

When I opened the box I thought Zulily had mistakingly sent me an I pod it looks like one I have fibromyalgia and I needed a tens again and love it. Not the fibro, the tens unit ! Grin. Its small light and rechargable.

It comes with a cloth bag to keep everything in or you can keep it in the original box which has a pretty gold lining. Note it does not come with a charger that plugs in just the cords. But my standard cell phone charger worked just fine.

It can run up to the max of a hour or whatever shorter time you need. It has all the usual setting speeds. If you have fibro or muscle pain and never used a tens unit, try it. Start with the lowest strength.

Some days I can’t tolerate anything on my body but heat. On days the pain is starting up, tens helps me. The best thing is to experiment with it on a day you have little to minor pain then when you get used to the sensation try it on severe pain.

It feels like a massager except the current changes how you percieve pain it changes the signal to the brain. And of course fibro is so awful that you experience any sensation more intently than normal.

A mild muscle ache can feel like a speeding truck is rolling over me, or a kitten suddenly turned into a mad hissing adult cat. So anything that gives total or temporary ease from fibromyalgia is great.

You can use it for regular muscle aches as well. Best of all is using it along with other non drug pain relief like hot pads, hot baths, aromatherapy, lotions meds. One thing that helps me is pillows or a very soft throw to touch, its soothing.

Zulily often sells aromatherapy misters (mine from Zulily changes colors ) and oils and you may think they would be useless against our agony but try them. I use lavender to help me sleep and others for comfort.

Again, it’s a matter of discovering what helps you as an individual. All in all, this is the best unit I ever owned.

The bio 450 is a hefty and well-made unit with easy switching between wavelengths and powerful irradiance. Everything you need is in the box it ships in, though this is also most of the options available for this model to be mounted, a shortcoming fixed in the biomax model.

It’s good at what it does, though, helping me recover from a broken ankle more quickly and cope with the pain without having to rely on the pain medicine that has its own unwanted effects. I would buy this unit if you’re on a very strict budget but recognize the need for a quality device that’s not a toy like competing products.

If a friend or family member were buying one, I’d tell them they might be better off spending just a bit more and getting a better product in the biomax.

We’ve had our light for a few weeks. My wife recently broke her ankle and literally the day after she began using the light as directed she saw improvement. Clearly, she was healing on her own without the light therapy, but it was a slow go.

She is an RN and has a fair amount of experience in medicine and she was almost shocked at how quickly the pain and swelling decreased once she began using the light. In my opinion, this light is a great tool for promoting healing and is a great addition to an overall wellness plan, especially if you are very active like my wife an I.

I was initially impressed with the meticulous packing for protection. The box itself was much larger than i had anticipated. Works well. Easy to use. Not hanging it since prefer to be seated while using.

Too early to give clinical feedback. Am using mostly for rosacea. Pleased with ease of use. Will reassess for decreased redness in 4-6 weeks. Great customer service.
