The fleece base layer is amazing. My daughter loves wearing them in the winter on cold days, and they are a great base layer for skiing. Great quality.

I’ve had my little girl in these every year snowboarding since she was five always keeps her warm on the coldest days,wish they made the same thing for an adult,some of the warmest and most comfortable made.

These are very fitted. At 6’1” and 177 pounds, I purchased a medium as I do in most clothing and expected a close but moderate fit. These are skin tight on me. I’ll be using them for downhill skiing and for ski touring and they should be fine for this purpose, especially layered under other garments.

If you’re looking to wear casually, you might size up. Otherwise, seems well made and not itchy against skin. Turtleneck part is a different knit than the rest of the garment which. Is that I look more closely is kind of apparent in the photograph, but I suspect many others could miss this as well.

It’s not a big deal, just something to be aware of if you’re going for a certain look.

My 5 year old daughter loved this top (and bottoms) so much she had to put them on right away and slept in it the very night we received them in the mail. They are so soft and cozy. not too tight, but not too loose either for a base layer.

Good product, but do come up small appreciate they need to be fitted but a size that should have fitted was impossible to get on

Te large/extra large is not at all it is a skintight fit, the sleeves are a tad short. But comfortable if I dont gain any weight over the holidays. Nice color.

Can be used as a base layer but also as a light top on its own. Wool is just perfect whatever the weather. They are so so soft, pure luxury at a bargain price.

Color, fabric condition, design are all good. It’s warm and soft, so even kids love it. It is better to choose a generous size. It’s stretchy, so I think the regular size would be fine.

Our son who is extremely sensitive to clothing fabric/textures approved this base layer for hockey, and that means the world to us! Easy cut off tags, smooth seams, prompt delivery. I would say it runs true to size or slightly big, but just the right amount for him to grow into.

We have been buying these fleece thermals for a couple years and really like them. They are very warm and cozy, they stand up to rough and tough boys, still look almost new after two kids have gone through them.

This is a very good base layer top! I use it for off-road motorcycle riding and it is intensive at times. So, when I sweat it moves the moisture away from my skin and that makes it so comfortable. Also, the “tall” option allows the sleeves not to pull up.

They stay tucked into the gloves even when my arms are bent. I plan to use it for skiing as well. Just wish I could find a similar bottom.

I have now ordered from MountainSteals a couple of times and have been more than impressed. My Marmot coat arrived quickly and at about a third of the usual cost. My Polarmax base layer shirts, the same, and even better they’re made in the USA.

These shirts are warm and do a great job moisture wicking. I even ran in one at 35° and in the rain and stayed comfy with a fleece and rain jacket on top (in Texas!). Sizes are a touch small, so if you’re unsure, order up one.

I initially purchased a couple of these baselayers for Summers in Alaska, but they are so incredibly comfortable that I wear them during Winter here in the desert. And, they’re attractive enough that I actually wear them on-stage! The Tall version is FINALLY long enough.

I run outside in Vermont all winter, and this meets all of my needs. I still wear a very thin wicking jersey underneath, but it keeps me toasty when it is 10 degrees out. Additionally, it effectively wicks away sweat and allows breathing, so that I never feel stuffy or too hot.

All around, well done gear.

It is soft, not like a traditional thermal. The zipper is easy and smooth. There’s waffling in the material that makes it look modern. The length is great. I wish it was like a tad smaller, but I like a good trim fit.

It’s true to size.

this shirt fits very well, I was surprised by the fabric. Its the same material that jogging pants were made with years ago. The inside of the shirt has a nice soft lining. NB does a really good job on creating clothes that flatter your figure.

My toddler is at an outdoor school so base layers are a must. This is great because it’s stylish and durable. Many other base layers need to be hand washed but this one is machine washable and has stood up to tough wear and also machine laundering a month in.

My only complaint is about the gendered designs. I bought this for my daughter but it’s in the “boys” section. Please, can we just get rid of these silly categories and just call it toddler?.

I bought two sets of the Thermaskin base layer shirts & pants for my boys, whose school (in Vermont) is utilizing the outdoors as much as possible this year, conducting school outside. Students are outside for at least 4 hours of each day, in all weather, and need to dress to be comfortable in cold and wet conditions.

We have had some unseasonable cold (colder than usual for November, here) with strong wind, and these base layers have helped keep my sons comfortable in the cold. These items are not hugely oversized but they seem to be roomy rather than snug-fitting, so I did not need to size up for my 12 year old boys, which normally would be the case for them as they move out of medium into large.

“Big Boy” Medium (10-12) was a great fit for them as a base layer that lies smooth under other clothes and is not bunchy. I see this fitting well for a while rather than being something they will quickly outgrow.

I plan to buy additional sets.

We have 3 pairs of boys long underwear. My son now refuses to go without wearing a set to school when it is cold. He likes the fit and says it keeps him warm during recess and when he has classes in the lower level of the school building.

He also likes the thumb Holds and uses them to keep the sleeves from riding up when putting on other layers. Holds up well even with nearly daily wear.

For the price, this is a great synthetic baselayer. Our almost 5 year old found it very comfortable to wear and it helped keep him warm sledding and ice fishing in below freezing temps. He is very tall and skinny for his age and the 110/XXS fits him well with some room to grow.

The elastic wasteband worked great for his thin waist.

We haven’t worn this in winter yet but my little guy has used this as a base layer in the fall and he stayed warm but wasn’t overheating when the day got warmer. Seems to be good for regulating temperature.

Fits my tall/skinny 3 yr old well. He is usually a size 4 shirt, 3 pant and this feels like a 4T set but the pants are not too loose, with room to grow into them.

Great quality and definitely warm. Kids can play outside for hours with these base layers and our snowsuit. Will buy again. Love the fit and size guide on the website. Sizing runs true to size with enough room to grow.

I always feel better when my daughter wears appropriate clothes when fall and cold weathers appears. This product offers some warm and is soft to the skin but it is a bitter thinner then I first thought it would be.

It’s still a good product, but will use it mainly during the fall and will skipper it durimg winter.

I bought this for my child to wear under his hockey gear. He has also enjoyed using it for camping pyjamas! It fits true to size, but it isn’t a skin tight wear compared to some other base layers.

True to size, comfortable, nice material

Ordered this set for my 4 year old to wear at his mostly outdoor school in Chicago winter and he approves. Says they are warm and comfy! He has another all wool set that he finds a little itchy so we like the wool bamboo blend on this.

Also good for pajamas and lounging around the house or playing with baby sister!.

This is a great set of thermal underwear for kids. The blend of materials is nice and soft for sensitive skin. I bought size 5T and it is true to size. The blue colour is a bit more muted than it appears on my computer skin.

Basic layer that works perfect keeping you worm when you are passive, and no less good for cold weather activities. My son slept in a sleeping bag in a tent covered with snow in this underwear and for three months already he uses it as a first layer to skin when we ran outside, with record low -6F and 90 min at this temperature.

It keeps him warm and dry. And as a running gear, this top often goes into the wash machine and survived many cycles well. I used many kinds of expensive heavy underwear from famous producers and different less known and cheaper stuff, and I may say this one is among the best, I would recommend anyone.

The top itself is of the good quality I have come to know from LLBean over the years; however, the sizing chart for this item is grossly misleading. I bought this top in a kids’ size 8 for my very petite 5yo daughter with the hopes it would be a little roomie for her to utilize over a couple of winters.

The top just fits her perfectly now, and by the end of this winter season, she will most likely have outgrown it. It is frustrating to now have to pay return shipping to exchange it for a top 3-4x bigger than what she normally wears due to inaccuracies in the provided sizing information.

Bought these for all 3 of my granddaughters two years ago for Christmas. Bought a size 10-12 for 2 of the girls, now back to buy a size 14 for one of them who now weights just under 90 pounds. Two of the girls are very picky with how their clothes feel.
